Abstract
Description
Processing device, processing program, and processing method
[0001] The present disclosure relates to a processing device, a processing program, and a processing method for performing transactions related to blockchain.
[0002] Conventionally, terminal devices such as general PCs and smartphones have been used as nodes that undertake blockchain processing and perform mining processing to receive rewards such as crypto assets (virtual currencies) by performing the processing. For example, Patent Literature 1 discloses a terminal device that performs mining processing. In particular, Patent Literature 1 describes a gaming terminal that uses blockchain technology to enable the play of games, and that includes mining processing means as a node device, and that provides crypto assets as an incentive.
[0003] In recent years, efforts have been made to create a new economic sphere (token economy) using digital currency. That is, instead of legal tender such as real currencies like yen or dollars, digital currencies called tokens are used to circulate the economy and to assign value to certain products.
[0004] JP 2023-34214 A
[0005] However, even if crypto assets can be obtained as a reward for mining processing as in Patent Document 1, if the price (value) of the crypto assets falls, the spread of terminal devices that perform mining processing will be suppressed, and ultimately the formation of a token economy related to the crypto assets will not progress.
[0006] The present disclosure has been made in light of the above-mentioned background, and provides a processing device, a processing program, and a processing method that can promote the formation of a token economy.
[0007] According to one aspect of the present disclosure, there is provided "a processing device having at least one processor, wherein the at least one processor is configured to execute a process for receiving sales information of a mining system to which the purchase cost of cryptocurrency related to mining rewards has been added, determining the purchase quantity of the cryptocurrency based on the sales quantity of the mining system, and performing a purchase process for the cryptocurrency for the determined purchase quantity."
[0008] According to one aspect of the present disclosure, there is provided a processing program that causes a computer having at least one processor to function as follows: receive sales information for a mining system to which the purchase cost of cryptocurrency related to mining rewards has been added; determine the purchase quantity of the cryptocurrency based on the sales quantity of the mining system; and perform purchase processing for the determined purchase quantity of the cryptocurrency.
[0009] According to one aspect of the present disclosure, there is provided a "processing method executed by at least one processor in a computer having the at least one processor, the processing method including the steps of: receiving sales information for a mining system to which the purchase cost of cryptocurrency related to mining rewards has been added; determining the purchase quantity of the cryptocurrency based on the sales quantity of the mining system; and performing purchase processing of the cryptocurrency for the determined purchase quantity."
[0010] According to the present disclosure, it is possible to provide a processing device, a processing program, and a processing method that can promote the formation of a token economy.
[0011] It should be noted that the above effects are merely illustrative for the sake of convenience and are not limiting. In addition to or instead of the above effects, any effect described in this disclosure or an effect obvious to a person skilled in the art may be achieved.

[0013] Embodiments of the present disclosure will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which the same reference numerals are used to designate common components.
[0014] 1. Overview of the Processing System According to the Present Disclosure The processing system according to the present disclosure is used, for example, to manage various information and processes from the time a user purchases a mining system until the process of granting rewards for mining processing by the mining system is performed. In particular, the processing system is suitably used, for example, when a mining system is sold and crypto assets (virtual currencies) related to rewards for mining processing by the mining system are purchased according to the number of mining systems sold. Specifically, the selling price of the mining system includes the purchase cost of the crypto assets, so the purchase procedure for the crypto assets is carried out in conjunction with the sale of the mining system. As a result, each time a mining system is sold, crypto assets related to rewards for mining processing by the mining system are purchased, which increases the value of the crypto assets and further promotes the spread of mining systems related to the crypto assets. In other words, this promotes the formation of a token economy related to the crypto assets.
[0015] Furthermore, in the processing system according to the present disclosure, there are two methods for providing rewards for mining processing. The first method is to directly and quickly pay the owner (user) of the mining system using newly issued cryptocurrency. The second method is to indirectly pay the user (owner of the mining system) who owns the NFT (non-fungible token) linked to the sold mining system over a medium- to long-term period by increasing the purchase price of the NFT instead of directly paying using cryptocurrency. In the second method, if the purchase price of the NFT increases, the user can receive rewards as profits by selling the NFT. Here, the cryptocurrency related to the reward for mining processing by the mining system can be used for selling the NFT. Providing rewards in this way will further promote the spread of mining systems related to the cryptocurrency. In other words, it will promote the formation of a token economy related to the cryptocurrency.
[0016] FIG. 1 is a diagram illustrating an outline of the formation of a token economy related to a processing system 1 according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. In particular, FIG. 1 illustrates a process for selling a mining device constituting a mining system and a process for providing rewards after mining processing is performed by the mining device. Specifically, a user wishing to purchase a mining device first operates a user terminal device to request the creation of a wallet from a trading server that processes transactions related to blockchains, such as crypto assets, thereby creating a state in which crypto assets and NFTs can be traded. The user then operates the user terminal device to request the purchase of a mining device on a web trading page managed by a business selling the mining device. In this case, the purchase request is transmitted to a management server managed by the business selling the mining device. Here, there are two types of mining devices: one that allows users to receive rewards in the form of crypto assets, and another that does not provide rewards in the form of crypto assets but provides NFTs. In FIG. 1, a case is assumed in which a mining device that provides NFTs is sold.
[0017] Next, a management server managed by a business selling mining equipment receives sales information for the mining equipment and performs a sales process corresponding to the user's purchase request. Specifically, the management server determines the purchase quantity of cryptocurrency based on the sales quantity of the mining equipment and performs a purchase process for the determined purchase quantity of cryptocurrency. Specifically, the purchase process involves the management server making a purchase request for the cryptocurrency to a trading server. Furthermore, since the mining equipment sold is a type that is issued with an NFT, the management server subsequently requests the trading server to issue an NFT. Once the NFT is issued, the management server manages the NFT by linking it to the user and the mining equipment sold. In other words, the user owns the NFT. Here, the purchase price (initial value) of the NFT may be approximately 1,000 yen. Note that if the mining equipment sold is a type that allows users to receive rewards in the form of cryptocurrency, the process for issuing the NFT is not performed.
[0018] Next, the mining device seller sends the ordered mining device to the user. The user configures the mining device and starts it up. After that, if the mining process by the mining device is successful, that is, if the user acquires the right to receive rewards related to the mining process, the mining device sends a message to the management server indicating that the mining process was successful. Note that if the mining device sold is a type that allows rewards to be received in the form of cryptocurrency, the payment of mining rewards in the form of cryptocurrency is made to the user's wallet without going through the management server, and the above process does not take place.
[0019] Next, upon receiving notification of the success of the mining process, the management server performs a process to raise the purchase price for the NFTs linked to the corresponding mining device. Specifically, the management server transmits NFT price information including the increased purchase price to the trading server. This allows users to essentially receive rewards for the mining process by selling the NFTs after the increased purchase price. Here, not only does the purchase price of the NFT increase, but the value of the cryptocurrency itself used to purchase the NFT also increases in accordance with the sale of the mining device, so users can expect to receive higher rewards than usual. Note that, with regard to the sale of NFTs, the management server may accept a sale request from a user who owns the NFT and then sell the NFT.
[0020] In this disclosure, the term "mining system" simply refers to a system that performs mining processing related to blockchain. In particular, in this disclosure, the term "mining system" is a concept that includes at least one of a mining device, which is a hardware device, and mining software, which is software. In the following embodiments, a mining system is assumed to be composed only of a mining device, but the mining system may also be composed only of mining software intended for processing by cloud mining, or may include both software and hardware.
[0021] In this disclosure, the term "user" simply means a user who can use the services provided by the processing system. That is, in the embodiment of the present disclosure, it is assumed that businesses that sell mining devices will use the processing system, and the users include so-called miners (those who receive rewards from mining processes).
[0022] In this disclosure, even if a term such as "first" or "second" is used, it does not mean that the term is limited to only the two elements to which it is attached. Naturally, a "third," a "fourth," and more elements may also be included.
[0023] 2. Configuration of Processing System 1 FIG. 2 is a conceptual diagram illustrating the configuration of a processing system 1 according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. According to FIG. 2, the processing system 1 includes a user terminal device 100 used by a user seeking to earn rewards through mining processing; a management server 200-1 used by a business selling mining equipment to store user information and other information; a trading server 200-2 used by a business trading crypto assets, such as cryptocurrencies, for its business activities; and a first distributed ledger system 300-1 and a second distributed ledger system 300-2 for managing crypto assets. The second distributed ledger system 300-2 also includes a mining device 400 purchased by a user and functioning as a node. These components of the processing system 1 are interconnected via a network 500, such as the Internet, for mutual communication. The network 500 may be wireless, wired, or a combination thereof.
[0024] In this disclosure, the description will focus on the case where management server 200-1 functions as a processing device. However, the processing device in this disclosure may be any device capable of executing the above-described processing, and naturally, any other server device other than management server 200-1, any other device or system included in processing system 1, or any combination thereof can suitably function as a processing device. In other words, in this disclosure, the names given to each device are merely used to distinguish each device from others, and other names may be used depending on the function of each device.
[0025] In the example of Figure 2, only one user terminal device 100 is shown, but it is possible to include two or more of each device. Also, while the management server 200-1 and the trading server 200-2 are each shown as a single entity, it is also possible to distribute the components and processes of each server to multiple server devices or cloud server devices. While the management server 200-1 and the trading server 200-2 are shown separately, they may be collectively referred to as the server device 200. Even in such cases, however, this merely refers to each server collectively and does not imply that the management server 200-1 and the trading server 200-2 have the same processing or configuration.
[0026] 2 shows only two distributed ledger systems that utilize blockchain technology, but it goes without saying that three or more distributed ledger systems may be connected to the network 500. Although the first distributed ledger system 300-1 and the second distributed ledger system 300-2 are described separately, they may be collectively referred to as the distributed ledger system 300. However, even in such cases, this is merely a general term for each distributed ledger system, and does not imply that the first distributed ledger system 300-1 and the second distributed ledger system 300-2 have the same processing or configuration.
[0027] 2, the second distributed ledger system 300-2 includes a mining device 400 purchased by the user who is the operator of the user terminal device 100, but this is not limited to this. In other words, the mining device 400 may also be included in the first distributed ledger system 300-1 or another distributed ledger system, as long as it can function as a node in various distributed ledger systems 300.
[0028] 3. Configuration of the user terminal device 100 Fig. 3 is a block diagram showing an example of the configuration of the user terminal device 100 according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. In the present disclosure, the touch sensor detects swipe operations and tap operations on each icon, etc. displayed on the output interface 111 by an indicator. Note that, although the present disclosure uses the input interface 115 provided in the user terminal device 100, it is also possible to use an input interface 115, such as a mouse, that is connected wirelessly or via a wire to a main body including the processor 112, etc.
[0038] 4. Configuration of the Server Device 200 FIG. 4 is a block diagram illustrating an example of the configuration of the server device 200 according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. In other words, FIG. 4 illustrates a block diagram of components common to the management server 200-1 and the trading server 200-2. The server device 200 does not need to include all of the components illustrated in FIG. 4; it is possible to omit some components, or to add other components. Furthermore, the server device 200 does not need to include the components illustrated in FIG. 4 in a single housing; it is also possible to distribute the components and processing of the server device 200 across multiple server devices or cloud server devices.
[0039] 4, the server device 200 includes a memory 211 including RAM, ROM, non-volatile memory, and an HDD, a processor 212 including a CPU, and a communication interface 213. These components are electrically connected to each other via control lines and data lines.
[0040] The memory 211 includes a RAM, a ROM, a nonvolatile memory, and a HDD, and functions as a storage unit. The ROM stores instructions and commands for executing the application and OS according to the present disclosure as a program. Such programs are loaded and executed by the processor 212. The RAM is used to write and read data while the program stored in the ROM is being processed by the processor 212. The nonvolatile memory is memory into which data is written and read as the program is executed, and the data written therein is retained even after the execution of the program has ended.
[0041] In the present disclosure, the memory 211 of the management server 200-1 particularly stores programs for "processing to accept sales information of mining devices 400 to which the purchase cost of the cryptocurrency related to the mining reward has been added," "processing to determine the purchase quantity of the cryptocurrency according to the sales quantity of the mining device 400," and "processing to purchase the cryptocurrency for the determined purchase quantity," etc. The memory 211 of the management server 200-1 also stores various information described in the user management table (FIG. 6).
[0042] The processor 212 is configured with a CPU (microcomputer) and functions as a control unit for controlling other connected components based on various programs stored in the memory 211. Specifically, the processor 212 reads out from the memory 211 a program for executing an application according to the present disclosure and a program for executing an OS, and executes the program.
[0043] In the present disclosure, the processor 212 of the management server 200-1 particularly executes "processing to receive sales information of the mining device 400 to which the purchase cost of the cryptocurrency related to the mining reward has been added," "processing to determine the purchase quantity of the cryptocurrency according to the sales quantity of the mining device 400," and "processing to purchase the cryptocurrency for the determined purchase quantity," etc. The processor 212 may be configured as a single CPU, or may be configured as a combination of multiple CPUs and GPUs.

The communication processing circuit processes programs and various information used in the processing system 1 to transmit and receive information from other server devices, user terminal devices 100, and each distributed ledger system 300 according to the progress of processing.
[0045] The communication processing circuit processes based on a wideband wireless communication system such as the LTE system, but can also process based on a system related to narrowband wireless communication or a system related to contactless wireless communication such as a wireless LAN such as IEEE802.11 or Bluetooth (registered trademark). In addition, wired communication can be used instead of or in addition to wireless communication.
[0046] 5. Configuration of the Distributed Ledger System 300 Figure 5A is a conceptual diagram illustrating a schematic configuration of the distributed ledger system 300 according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. Figure 5B is a block diagram illustrating an example configuration of a mining device 400 that constitutes the distributed ledger system 300 according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. As shown in Figure 5A, the distributed ledger system 300 includes multiple node terminal devices 311-313. In particular, the second distributed ledger system 300-2 includes a mining device 400 as a node terminal device.
[0047] The node terminal devices 311 to 313 and the mining device 400 are connected to each other via a network so that they can communicate with each other. For example, the network may be a public network, a private network, a dedicated line, a VPN (Virtual Private Network), or a combination of these. The multiple node terminal devices 311 to 313 and the mining device 400 are connected, for example, by wire or wirelessly. The multiple node terminal devices 311 to 313 and the mining device 400 communicate with each other in a peer-to-peer (P2P) manner.
[0048] As shown in FIG. 5A, the node terminal device 311 is a desktop PC, the node terminal device 312 is a tablet terminal, and the node terminal device 313 is a laptop PC. However, the node terminal devices 311-313 are not limited to these and may be any terminal device capable of connecting to a blockchain network. For example, a mobile phone such as a smartphone may be used as a node terminal device. Meanwhile, unlike other node terminal devices, the mining device 400 is a small device specialized for mining processing, without having multiple processing functions. Also, while FIG. 5A illustrates the node terminal devices 311-313 and the mining device 400 as different types of terminals, the same type of terminal device may also exist. Furthermore, the number of nodes constituting the distributed ledger system 300 is not limited to four and can be any number greater than two. The number of nodes constituting the distributed ledger system 300 may vary over time.
[0049] Each of the node terminal devices 311 to 313 has the same configuration as the user terminal device 100 or the server device 200. For example, the node terminal devices 311 to 313 may include a processor, memory, a communication interface, an input interface, and an output interface. Naturally, the node terminal devices 311 to 313 are not limited to this configuration, and do not need to include all of the components, and may have a configuration in which some components are omitted, or other components may be added. Furthermore, the configurations of the node terminal devices 311 to 313 may differ from one another.
[0050] As shown in Fig. 5B, the configuration of the mining device 400 is similar to that of the server device 200. Furthermore, the mining device 400 does not need to include all of the components shown in Fig. 5B, and it is possible to adopt a configuration in which some components are omitted, or to add other components.
[0051] 5B, the mining device 400 includes a memory 411 including RAM, ROM, non-volatile memory, an HDD, etc., a processor 412 configured by a CPU, etc., and a communication interface 413. These components are electrically connected to each other via control lines and data lines.
[0052] The memory 411 includes a RAM, a ROM, a non-volatile memory, and a HDD, and functions as a storage unit. The ROM stores instructions and commands for executing the application and OS according to the present disclosure as a program. Such programs are loaded and executed by the processor 412. The RAM is used to write and read data while the program stored in the ROM is being processed by the processor 412. The non-volatile memory is memory into which data is written and read as the program is executed, and the data written therein is saved even after the execution of the program has ended. In particular, the memory 411 stores a program for mining processing.
[0053] The processor 412 is configured with a CPU (microcomputer) and functions as a control unit for controlling other connected components based on various programs stored in the memory 411. Specifically, the processor 412 reads and executes programs for executing applications according to the present disclosure and programs for executing the OS from the memory 411. In particular, the processor 412 executes programs for mining processing and periodically performs mining processing.
[0054] The communication interface 413 functions as a communication unit that transmits and receives information to and from the remotely installed server device 200, user terminal device 100, and other nodes via a communication processing circuit and an antenna. The communication processing circuit processes programs and various information used in the processing system 1 to transmit and receive information from the server device 200, user terminal device 100, other nodes, and each distributed ledger system 300 according to the progress of processing.
[0055] The communication processing circuit processes based on a wideband wireless communication system such as the LTE system, but can also process based on a system related to narrowband wireless communication or a system related to contactless wireless communication such as a wireless LAN such as IEEE802.11 or Bluetooth (registered trademark). In addition, wired communication can be used instead of or in addition to wireless communication.
[0056] The node terminal devices 311-313 and the mining device 400 manage a distributed ledger using, for example, blockchain technology. Specifically, either the node terminal devices 311-313 or the mining device 400 acquires data related to token transactions to be recorded. The node terminal devices 311-313 and the mining device 400 generate a block containing the acquired data. The node terminal devices 311-313 and the mining device 400 add the generated block to the blockchain. The node terminal devices 311-313 and the mining device 400 transmit information about the added block to the other node terminal devices 311-313 or the mining device 400. The other node terminal devices 311-313 or the mining device 400 verify the accuracy of the received block. Furthermore, if the other node terminal devices 311-313 or the mining device 400 successfully verify the accuracy of the block, they add the block to the blockchain. The node terminal devices 311 to 313 and the mining device 400 establish the blockchain based on the number of linked blocks, which is the so-called approval number, for example. As a result, the same distributed ledger is stored across multiple node terminal devices 311 to 313 and the mining device 400. Note that data stored on the blockchain is encrypted as appropriate.
[0057] As mentioned above, the distributed ledger system 300 includes a first distributed ledger system 300-1 and a second distributed ledger system 300-2, but these systems do not necessarily have to be the same type or the same terminal devices and may be configured in different forms. Furthermore, since the first distributed ledger system 300-1 and the second distributed ledger system 300-2 constitute different blockchains, the nodes that make up the first distributed ledger system 300-1 and the nodes that make up the second distributed ledger system 300-2 are separate. However, if it is possible to configure different blockchains, some of the nodes in the first distributed ledger system 300-1 and the second distributed ledger system 300-2 may be shared.
[0058] 6. Information Stored in the Memory 211 of the Management Server 200-1 Fig. 6 is a diagram conceptually illustrating a user management table stored in the management server 200-1 according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. The information shown in Fig. 6 is updated when a user purchases a mining device 400 or when an increase process related to mining rewards is performed on the purchase price of NFTs.
[0059] The user management table is composed of information related to "user ID," "wallet information," "mining device ID," "NFT ID," and "NFT purchase price," etc.
[0060] A "user ID" is a unique identifier assigned to a user who has completed the registration process on an online sales site managed by a business that sells mining equipment. The user ID may be, for example, a serial number, or may be composed of any letters and numbers set by the user, or may be an email address or a part of an email address. Therefore, the user ID may be freely set as long as it can identify the user.
[0061] "Wallet information" is information related to a wallet acquired by a user to trade crypto assets, NFTs, etc. This information may include information related to the wallet owner and information related to the owned crypto assets.
[0062] The "mining device ID" is a unique identifier assigned to each mining device 400 by a business that sells the mining device 400. Therefore, even mining devices 400 of the same type are assigned different mining device IDs. Because the mining device ID is linked to the user ID, it is possible to know which user owns which mining device 400. The mining device ID may be, for example, a serial number, or may be composed of arbitrary letters and numbers set by the business. Therefore, the mining device ID may be freely set as long as it can identify the mining device 400.
[0063] The "NFT ID" is a unique identifier assigned to the NFT obtained when a user purchases the mining device 400. In particular, the "NFT ID" is an ID issued by the business selling the mining device and is used for management within the management server 200-1. Depending on the type of mining device 400, the NFT is not assigned to the user, and therefore there are rows in FIG. 6 where the "NFT ID" is not written.
[0064] The "NFT purchase price" is information about the purchase price (transaction price) when a user sells the corresponding NFT. The purchase price is set to increase in stages as a reward for the mining process. In other words, when the mining process is successful using a mining device 400 assigned a specific mining device ID, the NFT purchase price linked to the corresponding mining device ID increases, and the "NFT purchase price" in FIG. 6 is also updated.
[0065] 6 is merely an example, and may include other information related to the user or other items related to the NFT. For example, additional information such as the issuance date of the NFT or blockchain information related to the NFT may be included.
[0066] 7. Processing Sequence Executed by Processing System 1 (A) Processing Relating to Wallet Generation to Crypto Asset Purchase Fig. 7A is a diagram showing a processing sequence executed between the user terminal device 100, management server 200-1, and trading server 200-2 according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. Specifically, Fig. 7A is a diagram showing a processing sequence executed between the user terminal device 100, management server 200-1, and trading server 200-2 from wallet generation by a user, to the purchase of a mining device 400, and further to the purchase of crypto assets related to rewards from the mining device 400.
[0067] 7A, the processor 112 of the user terminal device 100 receives user input via the input interface 115, generates information related to wallet creation, and executes a wallet creation request process (S11). This information includes various information related to the user. The processor 112 transmits the generated information to the trading server 200-2 via the communication interface 114, and requests the trading server 200-2 to create a wallet (T11).
[0068] Next, the processor 212 of the trading server 200-2 determines whether to approve the wallet creation based on the received information (S12). If the processor 212 of the trading server 200-2 determines that the wallet creation is OK, it creates a wallet for the user and transmits wallet information related to the created wallet to the user terminal device 100 via the communication interface 213 (T12).
[0069] Next, the processor 112 of the user terminal device 100 receives user input via the input interface 115 and generates login information (S13). The login information includes a user ID and a password. More specifically, the user input is input via the input interface 115 on the login screen of the web page, where the user accesses a web page managed by the management server 200-1 in response to the user's operation of the user terminal device 100. The processor 112 then transmits the generated login information to the management server 200-1 via the communication interface 114, along with a login request (T13).
[0070] When the login information and login request generated by the user terminal device 100 are received by the management server 200-1 via the communication interface 213, the processor 212 of the management server 200-1 performs authentication processing for login based on the login information (S14). Specifically, the processor 212 of the management server 200-1 compares the received login information with the user information stored in the memory 211 to confirm whether the person making the login request is a registered user. If the processor 212 of the management server 200-1 confirms user registration, it approves the user's login as a result of the authentication processing (T14). On the other hand, if the processor 212 of the management server 200-1 cannot confirm user registration, it requests the user terminal device 100 to re-enter the user ID and password.
[0071] When the result of the authentication process (approval result) by the management server 200-1 is received by the user terminal device 100 via the communication interface 114, the user terminal device 100 enters a state in which login to the web page is completed. The processor 112 of the user terminal device 100 then accepts user input via the input interface 115 and performs a purchase process for the mining device 400 (S15). Specifically, the processor 112 of the user terminal device 100 generates purchase request information, such as the type, quantity, and delivery address of the mining device 400, in response to the user's operation via the input interface 115. For the purposes of explaining this sequence, it is assumed that a type that grants an NFT has been selected. The processor 112 then transmits the generated purchase request information, along with a purchase request (T15), to the management server 200-1 via the communication interface 114.
[0072] When the purchase request information and purchase request generated by the user terminal device 100 are received by the management server 200-1 via the communication interface 213, the processor 212 of the management server 200-1 performs sales processing for the mining device 400 based on the purchase request information (S16). Specifically, the management server 200-1 outputs information related to the processing up to the shipment of the mining device 400 and the shipping destination, etc., and the actual shipment of the mining device 400 is carried out by the seller of the mining device 400 (shipping person, etc.).
[0073] Next, the processor 212 of the management server 200-1 determines the purchase quantity of the cryptocurrency based on the sales quantity of the mining device 400 and performs a purchase process for the determined purchase quantity of the cryptocurrency (S17). Here, the sales price of the mining device 400 includes the purchase cost of the cryptocurrency related to the mining reward of the mining device 400. In other words, when one mining device 400 is sold, the seller of the mining device 400 (the administrator of the management server 200-1) obtains funds to purchase a predetermined quantity of the cryptocurrency. This allows the seller of the mining device 400 to purchase the cryptocurrency without using their own funds, thereby increasing the value of the cryptocurrency. Furthermore, since the cryptocurrency itself is related to the mining reward of the mining device 400, an increase in the value of the cryptocurrency will effectively increase the mining reward itself. This effective increase in rewards will accelerate the spread of the mining device 400, and this virtuous cycle will promote the formation of a token economy. Then, the processor 212 of the management server 200-1 transmits the purchase request information generated in the crypto asset purchase process, together with the purchase request (T16), to the trading server 200-2 via the communication interface 213. Here, the purchase request information includes information regarding the type, quantity, etc. of the crypto asset to be purchased.
[0074] When the crypto asset purchase request information and purchase request generated by the management server 200-1 are received by the trading server 200-2 via the communication interface 213, the processor 212 of the trading server 200-2 performs crypto asset transaction processing based on the purchase request information (S18). Specifically, the trading server 200-2 performs processing to store the transaction of the desired quantity of crypto asset as a transaction in the distributed ledger system 300 for the seller of the mining device 400, which is the requester.
[0075] (B) Processing Related to Issuance of NFTs Figure 7B is a diagram illustrating a processing sequence executed among the user terminal device 100, the management server 200-1, and the first distributed ledger system 300-1 according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. Specifically, Figure 7B is a diagram illustrating a processing sequence executed among the user terminal device 100, the management server 200-1, and the first distributed ledger system 300-1 after the mining device 400 has been sold, until an NFT is issued in association with the mining device 400.
[0076] 7B , first, the processor 212 of the management server 200-1 performs an NFT issuance request process (S21). Specifically, if the mining device 400 sold is a type that grants NFTs, the management server 200-1 generates NFT issuance request information for issuing NFTs, linking the mining device 400 to the user who purchased it. The NFT issuance request information includes basic information about the content to be converted into an NFT, the NFT storage destination (wallet address of the management server 200-1), the NFT owner, and other information. The processor 212 of the management server 200-1 then sends the generated NFT issuance request information, along with an NFT issuance process request (T21), to the first distributed ledger system 300-1 via the communication interface 213.
[0077] When the first distributed ledger system 300-1 receives the NFT issuance request information and NFT issuance processing request generated by the management server 200-1, the first distributed ledger system 300-1 executes the NFT conversion processing (i.e., NFT issuance processing) of the uploaded content using known blockchain technology (S22).The first distributed ledger system 300-1 then sends a notification (NFT issuance completion notification) to the user terminal device 100 and the management server 200-1 indicating that the NFT issuance has been completed (T22).
[0078] When the management server 200-1 receives the NFT issuance completion notification sent from the first distributed ledger system 300-1 via the communication interface 213, the processor 212 of the management server 200-1 updates the user management table stored in the memory 211 (S23). Specifically, the processor 212 of the management server 200-1 adds new information to the "NFT ID" column of the user management table shown in FIG. 6, linking it to a predetermined "user ID" and "mining device ID," and also adds the initial purchase price to the "NFT purchase price" column. That is, the processor 212 of the management server 200-1 identifies the row in the user management table whose information should be updated from the NFT issuance completion notification (for example, a row with the user ID U1 and the mining device ID X1), and updates the "NFT ID" and "NFT purchase price." Here, since the NFT issuance completion notification includes information about the original content that was converted into an NFT and information about the user who owns it, the processor 212 of the management server 200-1 can identify the row that needs to be updated.
[0079] Note that if the mining device 400 purchased by the user is of a type that does not grant NFTs, i.e., a type that receives mining rewards directly in the form of cryptocurrency, the processing related to Figure 7B will not be performed.
[0080] (C) Processing Related to NFT Trading Prices Fig. 7C is a diagram showing a processing sequence executed among the user terminal device 100, the management server 200-1, the trading server 200-2, and the mining device 400 according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. Specifically, Fig. 7C is a diagram showing a processing sequence for explaining how rewards are given to users when the mining process by the mining device 400 is successful.
[0081] 7C , first, the processor 412 of the mining device 400 executes the mining processing program stored in the memory 411 and sequentially performs the mining processing (S31). Then, if the mining processing is successful, that is, if the mining device 400 finds the nonce value first, the processor 412 of the mining device 400 notifies the management server 200-1 of the success of the mining processing via the communication interface 413 (T31). At this time, the processor 412 of the mining device 400 notifies the management server 200-1 that the mining processing was successful, including information for identifying which mining device it is (for example, the mining device ID).
[0082] When the management server 200-1 receives a notification from the mining device 400 that the mining process has been successful via the communication interface 213, the processor 212 of the management server 200-1 performs processing to increase the trading price of the specified NFT (S32). Specifically, the processor 212 of the management server 200-1 identifies the mining device 400 that has succeeded in the mining process based on the information identifying the mining device included in the notification that the mining process has been successful, and performs processing to increase the trading price (purchase price) of the NFT linked to that mining device 400. Here, the processing to increase the trading price means that the management server 200-1 generates price information for a purchase price higher than the "NFT purchase price" in the user management table of FIG. 6. The processor 212 of the management server 200-1 then transmits the generated price information to the trading server 200-2 via the communication interface 213, along with a purchase request (T32).
[0083] Next, the processor 212 of the trading server 200-2 performs processing to revise the trading price of the NFT based on the received price information (S33). Specifically, the processor 212 of the trading server 200-2 identifies the relevant NFT from the received information and updates the purchase price of the NFT by increasing it by a predetermined amount. In addition to performing this update processing, the processor 212 of the trading server 200-2 generates trading price information indicating that the trading price of the NFT has increased. The processor 212 of the trading server 200-2 then transmits the generated trading price information to the user terminal device 100 via the communication interface 213 (T33). The user can check the trading price of the NFT via the user terminal device 100 and learn about the increase in the trading price of the NFT due to the reward for the mining process. When the trading price reaches the user's desired price, the user can sell the NFT and receive the reward for the mining process as the selling price of the NFT.
[0084] Note that if the mining device 400 purchased by the user is of a type that does not grant NFTs, i.e., is of a type that receives mining rewards directly in the form of crypto assets, the processing shown in Figure 7C will not be performed. In this case, mining rewards will be paid in the form of a predetermined crypto asset through processing by the trading server 200-2 or the distributed ledger system 300. In other words, the crypto asset will be deposited into the user's wallet address.
[0085] 8. Processing Flow Executed in Management Server 200-1 A series of processing flows executed in the server device 200 in each process related to NFT issuance and NFT trading price increases will be specifically described below.
[0086] (A) Processing Related to Issuance of NFTs Fig. 8A is a diagram showing a processing flow executed by the management server 200-1 according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. Specifically, Fig. 8A is a diagram showing a processing flow from the sale of a mining device to the update of the user management table following the completion of issuance of NFTs. This processing flow is mainly performed by the processor 212 of the management server 200-1 reading and executing a program stored in the memory 211.
[0087] 8A, the processor 212 of the management server 200-1 determines whether or not a purchase request for a mining device 400 has been received from the user terminal device 100 (S111). Next, if the processor 212 of the management server 200-1 has received a purchase request for a mining device 400 (S111: Yes), it executes a sales process for the mining device 400 (S112). Thereafter, the processor 212 of the management server 200-1 determines the purchase quantity of the cryptocurrency related to the reward for the mining device 400 according to the number of mining devices 400 sold, and executes a purchase process for the cryptocurrency for that quantity (S113).
[0088] Next, the processor 212 of the management server 200-1 determines whether the mining device 400 being sold is of the type that grants NFTs (S114). Specifically, the processor 212 of the management server 200-1 can determine this type from the purchase request and related purchase request information received in S111. Next, if the mining device 400 is of the type that grants NFTs (S114: Yes), the processor 212 of the management server 200-1 performs an NFT issuance process (S115). On the other hand, if the mining device 400 is not of the type that grants NFTs (S114: No), the processor 212 of the management server 200-1 skips S115 and S116 and proceeds to S117.
[0089] After the NFT issuance process is completed, the processor 212 of the management server 200-1 determines whether or not an NFT issuance completion notification has been received (S116). If the processor 212 of the management server 200-1 has received an NFT issuance completion notification (S116: Yes), the processor 212 updates the user management table to add information related to the NFT (S117).
[0090] (B) Processing Related to an Increase in NFT Trading Price Fig. 8B is a diagram showing a processing flow executed in the management server 200-1 according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. Specifically, Fig. 7B is a diagram showing a processing flow from after the mining process is performed to updating the user management table. This processing flow is mainly performed by the processor 212 of the management server 200-1 reading and executing a program stored in the memory 211.
[0091] 8B, the processor 212 of the management server 200-1 determines whether or not it has received notification from the mining device 400 that the mining process was successful (S211). Next, if the processor 212 of the management server 200-1 receives notification that the mining process was successful (S211: Yes), it executes processing to increase the NFT trading price (S212). This processing to increase the NFT trading price serves as an alternative to the direct payment of mining rewards in cryptocurrency. Thereafter, the processor 212 of the management server 200-1 updates the information in the user management table regarding the trading price of the relevant NFT (S213).
[0092] 9. Modifications In the above embodiment, the mining device 400, which only performs mining processing, functions as a node. However, the mining device 400 may be attached to other electronic devices. For example, a lighting fixture may be used as the electronic device. Such a case will be described with reference to FIGS. 9A and 9B. FIG. 9A is a conceptual diagram that schematically illustrates the configuration of a distributed ledger system 300 according to a modification of the present disclosure. FIG. 9B is a block diagram that illustrates an example configuration of a lighting fixture 600 that includes a mining device 400 that constitutes a distributed ledger system 300 according to a modification of the present disclosure. Note that the same components as those in the above embodiment are designated by the same reference numerals, and their description will be omitted.
[0093] 9A, the distributed ledger system 300 includes multiple node terminal devices 311 to 313. In particular, the second distributed ledger system 300-2 includes a lighting device 600 including a mining device 400 as a node terminal device.
[0094] The node terminal devices 311-313 and the lighting fixture 600 are connected to each other via a network so that they can communicate with each other. For example, the network may be a public network, a private network, a dedicated line, a virtual private network (VPN), or a combination of these. The node terminal devices 311-313 and the lighting fixture 600 are connected to each other via a wired or wireless connection, for example. The node terminal devices 311-313 and the lighting fixture 600 communicate with each other in a peer-to-peer (P2P) manner.
[0095] 9B, the configuration of lighting device 600 is such that a temperature detection function and a lighting function are added to the configuration of mining device 400. Note that lighting device 600 does not need to include all of the components shown in FIG. 9B, and it is possible to omit some components, or to add other components.
[0096] 9B , lighting device 600 includes memory 611 including RAM, ROM, non-volatile memory, and an HDD, processor 612 including a CPU, communication interface 613, temperature sensor 614 that detects the ambient temperature, and lighting unit 615 that emits light. These components are electrically connected to each other via control lines and data lines.
[0097] The memory 611 includes RAM, ROM, nonvolatile memory, and HDD and functions as a storage unit. The ROM stores instructions and commands for executing the application and OS according to the present disclosure as a program. Such programs are loaded and executed by the processor 612. The RAM is used to write and read data while the program stored in the ROM is being processed by the processor 612. The nonvolatile memory is memory into which data is written and read by the execution of the program, and the data written therein is retained even after the execution of the program has ended. In particular, the memory 611 stores a program for mining processing. The memory 611 also stores a program for requesting that temperature information detected by the temperature sensor 614 be stored in the distributed ledger system 300. The memory 611 also stores various programs for emitting desired light (light with adjusted brightness and chromaticity) from the lighting unit 615.
[0098] The processor 612 is composed of a CPU (microcomputer) and functions as a control unit for controlling other connected components based on various programs stored in the memory 611. Specifically, the processor 612 reads and executes programs for executing applications related to the present disclosure and programs for executing the OS from the memory 611. In particular, the processor 612 executes programs for mining processing and periodically executes the mining processing. The processor 612 also performs processing to request that temperature information detected by the temperature sensor 614 be stored in the distributed ledger system 300. The processor 612 also performs processing to irradiate desired light (light with adjusted brightness and chromaticity) from the lighting unit 615.
[0099] The communication interface 613 functions as a communication unit that transmits and receives information to and from the remotely installed server device 200, user terminal device 100, and other nodes via a communication processing circuit and an antenna. The communication processing circuit processes programs and various information used in the processing system 1 to transmit and receive information from the server device 200, user terminal device 100, other nodes, and each distributed ledger system 300 according to the progress of processing.
[0100] The communication processing circuit processes based on a wideband wireless communication system such as the LTE system, but can also process based on a system related to narrowband wireless communication or a system related to contactless wireless communication such as a wireless LAN such as IEEE802.11 or Bluetooth (registered trademark). In addition, wired communication can be used instead of or in addition to wireless communication.
[0101] In this way, by providing the lighting fixture 600 with a mining function, the user can continue to use the lighting fixture 600 even if mining rewards are no longer available. Furthermore, temperature information or lighting on / off information acquired from the lighting fixture 600 can be stored in the distributed ledger system 300. By paying rewards for the provision of this information, more information can be acquired from various locations. In this case, the management server 200-1 processor 212 may allocate rewards obtained for providing sensor information such as temperature information to the lighting fixture 600 including the mining device 400. This enables the generation of highly useful information, which can be provided to companies and the like for a fee. Specifically, if temperature information can be acquired and stored from the installation locations of more lighting fixtures 600, it becomes possible to grasp temperature changes in a given region or country, and even to predict temperature changes.
[0102] That is, by installing the mining device 400 in IoT devices, etc., it becomes possible to collect a wider range of information and form a more effective information group. This also contributes to promoting the formation of a token economy, and it becomes possible to achieve a synergistic effect between the provision of an effective information group and the formation of a token economy.
[0103] In the above-described embodiment, the NFTs linked to the mining device 400 are managed by the management server 200-1, but the NFTs may also be managed in the wallet of the user who owns them. In this case, after a request for an NFT issuance process is made from the management server 200-1, the NFTs are issued in a manner linked to the user's wallet. Furthermore, while it was assumed that the ownership of the NFTs is held by the user, it may also be held by the business operator (administrator) that manages the mining system. In this case, when the user requests to sell the NFTs, the profits from the sale of the NFTs will be given to the user.
[0104] The processes and procedures described herein can be implemented not only by those explicitly described in this disclosure, but also by software, hardware, or a combination thereof. Specifically, the processes and procedures described herein can be implemented by implementing logic corresponding to the processes in a medium such as an integrated circuit, volatile memory, non-volatile memory, magnetic disk, or optical storage. Furthermore, the processes and procedures described herein can be implemented as computer programs and executed by various computers, including user terminal devices and server devices.
[0105] Although processes and procedures described herein are described as being performed by a single device, software, component, or module, such processes or procedures may be performed by multiple devices, multiple software, multiple components, and / or multiple modules. Furthermore, although various information described herein is described as being stored in a single memory or storage unit, such information may be stored in multiple memories within a single device or multiple memories distributed across multiple devices. Furthermore, software and hardware elements described herein may be realized by integrating them into fewer components or by decomposing them into more components.
