Description

Cosmetics containing a cosmetic-impregnated sponge and a mesh cover

[0001] The present invention relates to cosmetics, and more particularly, to cosmetics comprising a liquid cosmetic having fluidity and a permeable net as a cosmetic cover.

[0002] Cosmetics exist in various forms, such as solid and liquid, and in the case of liquid cosmetics, it is common to store them in flexible containers, such as tubes, to prevent leakage and facilitate discharge.

[0003] Meanwhile, for liquid cosmetics with fluidity, a method is being used in which the cosmetic is filled into a rigid container and a tensile, elastic fiber sheet or mesh is installed at the opening of the container to prevent leakage. This method uses a tool such as a puff to pressurize the elastic fabric, causing the cosmetic to be discharged through the aperture between the fabrics. Because the filled contents can be easily discharged, this method has been limited to filling only highly rigid contents.

[0004] However, even if high-hardness contents are filled, the contents may be discharged due to external impact and may stick to the inside of the container lid, causing problems during use and distribution. In addition, since the contents are fluid and come into contact with the mesh, the mesh continuously absorbs the contents, causing oil from the contents to seep onto the top of the mesh, which may cause consumer complaints.

[0005] In order to solve the problems of the above-mentioned prior art, the present invention aims to provide a cosmetic product that prevents leakage of contents through a mesh cover.

[0006] In addition, the present invention aims to provide a cosmetic product that suppresses unintended leakage of an impregnated cosmetic by using an impregnated sponge and a mesh cover.

[0007] In addition, the present invention aims to provide a cosmetic product that prevents leakage of cosmetic contents through a mesh net while facilitating discharge of cosmetic impregnated in a sponge during use.

[0008] In order to achieve the above technical task, the present invention provides a cosmetic comprising a container body having an opening for containing a liquid cosmetic and discharging the liquid cosmetic to the outside, and a cover having a mesh net covering the opening of the container body, wherein the cosmetic further comprises an impregnated sponge mounted on the container body and impregnated with the liquid cosmetic, and a gap is provided between the lower part of the mesh net and the upper part of the impregnated sponge.

[0009] In the present invention, the gap may be 1 to 2.5 mm. At this time, it is preferable that the mesh net be a tension net having a strain that elastically deforms at a strain amount greater than the gap.

[0010] The present invention may further include a spacer mounted on the cover to maintain the gap. In this case, the spacer may be in the shape of a ring extending along the outer periphery of the cover.

[0011] In the present invention, the spacer may be integral with the cover or separate from the cover.

[0012] In the present invention, it is preferable that the gap of the spacer is adjustable.

[0013] In the present invention, it is preferable that the spacer elastically deforms when a load is applied.

[0014] In the present invention, it is preferable that the liquid cosmetic have a viscosity of 2000 to 45000 cps.

[0015] In the present invention, it is preferable that the opening size of the mesh net is 10 to 1000 ㎛.

[0016] In the present invention, it is preferable that the sponge has an average pore size of 30 to 120 ppi.

[0017] According to the present invention, it is possible to provide a cosmetic product that prevents leakage of contents through a mesh cover.

[0018] In addition, according to the present invention, it is possible to provide a cosmetic product that suppresses unintended leakage of an impregnated cosmetic by using an impregnated sponge and a mesh cover.

[0019] In addition, according to the present invention, it is possible to provide a cosmetic product that prevents leakage of cosmetic contents through a mesh net while facilitating discharge of cosmetic impregnated in a sponge during use.

[0029] The present invention will be described in detail by explaining a preferred embodiment of the present invention with reference to the drawings below.

[0030] FIG. 1 is a schematic drawing of a cosmetic product according to one embodiment of the present invention.

[0031] As illustrated, the cosmetic comprises a container body (13) for containing a liquid cosmetic, the container body (13) has an open top for discharging the cosmetic, and a cover (15) having a mesh net (19) for discharging the liquid cosmetic is provided inside. In addition, the cosmetic comprises an inner lid (17) and an outer lid (11) for preventing leakage of the cosmetic outside the cover (15).

[0032] The user deforms the mesh net (19) of the cover (15) by pressing it with a cosmetic tool such as a puff, so that the cosmetic underneath passes through the mesh net (19) and is discharged, and the cosmetic discharged to the outside is applied by dabbing it with the puff. However, in the present invention, the inner lid (17) and outer lid (11) illustrated in Fig. 1 are additional components and are not necessarily required components.

[0033]

[0034] Figures 2 and 3 are schematic drawings illustrating cosmetics according to another embodiment of the present invention.

[0035] Figure 2 is a cross-sectional view of the combined state of cosmetics, and Figure 3 is an exploded perspective view.

[0036] Referring to FIGS. 2 and 3, the cosmetic product (100) includes a container body (130) having a bottom surface and an upper opening, and a cover (150) covering the opening of the container body.

[0037] The above container body (130) is equipped with a sponge impregnated with a liquid cosmetic, and has an opening at the top for discharging the liquid cosmetic to the outside.

[0038] The present invention can impregnate formulations of various viscosities by controlling the pore size of the impregnated sponge.

[0039] Considering that the impregnated sponge continuously holds the formulation and the effective pickup amount of the contents through the mesh net, the liquid cosmetic preferably has a viscosity of 2,000 cps or more, 3,000 cps or more, 4,000 cps or more, 5,000 cps or more, 10,000 cps or more, or 20,000 cps or more, and the liquid cosmetic preferably has a viscosity of 50,000 cps or less, 40,000 cps or less, or 30,000 cps or less.

[0040] In the present invention, the impregnated sponge (110) may be implemented with a foamed synthetic resin. The foam pores inside the sponge (110) are interconnected to form open channels. The pore structure inside the sponge may be an open-cell foam or a reticular foam structure. Here, the reticular foam refers to a foam in which the sponge has a reticular structure but the cell walls are open. For example, in the present invention, the average pore size of the sponge is preferably 850 ㎛ or less, 825 ㎛ or less, 800 ㎛ or less, 785 ㎛ or less, 750 ㎛ or less, 725 ㎛ or less, 700 ㎛ or less, 675 ㎛ or less, or 650 ㎛ or less. In addition, it is preferable that the average pore size of the sponge is 150 ㎛ or more, 200 ㎛ or more, 250 ㎛ or more, 300 ㎛ or more, or 350 ㎛ or more.

[0041] In addition, in the present invention, it is preferable that the pores per inch (ppi) of the impregnated sponge be 20 ppi or more, 25 ppi or more, 30 ppi or more, 35 ppi or more, 40 ppi or more, 45 ppi or more, or 50 ppi or more. In addition, the pores per inch may be 120 ppi or less, 115 ppi or less, 110 ppi or less, 105 ppi or less, 100 ppi or less, 95 ppi or less, 90 ppi or less, 85 ppi or less, or 80 ppi or less.

[0042] In the present invention, various synthetic resins can be used as the material of the sponge (110), and for example, polyether, polyester, polyurethane, PVA (polyvinyl alcohol), PE (polyethylene), EVA (ethylene vinyl acetate), ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene), or synthetic rubber can be used.

[0043] For example, the polyurethane may be a polyurethane manufactured using a polyether polyol, a polyester polyol, a mixture thereof, or a copolymer thereof as a raw material, and the synthetic rubber may be at least one type of rubber selected from the group consisting of SBR (styrene-butadiene rubber), BR (butadiene rubber), NR (natural rubber), and NBR (acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber).

[0044] The opening of the container body (130) is covered by a cover (150). The cover (150) is connected to the container body (130) by including a frame (152) extending along the outer circumference of the container body (130) and a mesh net (154) fixed to the frame and covering the through hole.

[0045] In the present invention, the mesh net (154) functions as a permeation channel for the liquid cosmetic. The mesh net (154) may be implemented by any two-dimensional membrane that is permeable to the liquid cosmetic. For example, a stretchable fabric woven with warp and longitudinal yarns is an example of the mesh net of the present invention. Any mesh net having any form of repetitive apertures may also be an example of the mesh net of the present invention.

[0046] In the present invention, the aperture size of the mesh net is preferably 10 ㎛ or more, 20 ㎛ or more, 50 ㎛ or more, 100 ㎛ or more, 200 ㎛ or more, 500 ㎛ or more, 600 ㎛ or more, or 700 ㎛ or more. In addition, the aperture size is preferably 1000 ㎛ or less, 900 ㎛ or less, or 800 ㎛ or less. If the mesh net size is 10 ㎛ or less, it is difficult to discharge the contents to the outside, and if it exceeds 1000 ㎛ and is too large, the mesh net is not dense and cannot function as a mesh net.

[0047] In the present invention, it is preferable that the mesh net (154) of the cover is spaced apart from the impregnated sponge (110). In the present invention, the size (d) of the gap can be appropriately set to prevent leakage of the cosmetic impregnated in the impregnated sponge. The size (d) of the distance (gap) between the lower portion of the mesh net (154) and the upper portion of the sponge (110) is preferably 1 mm or more as described below. In such a gap, the medium-viscosity liquid cosmetic composition impregnated in the sponge can be prevented from leaking through the mesh net. In addition, the size of the gap is preferably 2.5 mm or less. The upper limit of the gap can be appropriately set to facilitate discharge of the liquid cosmetic.

[0048] In the present invention, the gap between the cover and the impregnated sponge can be determined by the height of the cover and the impregnated sponge. Alternatively, in the present invention, a spacer may be provided between the cover and the sponge to secure the gap.

[0049] In the present invention, it is preferable that the spacer (156) does not impede the flow of the cosmetic into the mesh net (154). For example, the spacer (156) is limited to the lower part of the frame (152) of the cover (150), and it is preferable that it does not protrude into the mesh net.

[0050] In the present invention, the spacer may be a ring-shaped structure that follows the shape of the frame and extends along the outer periphery of the frame. Alternatively, the spacer may be intermittently arranged at predetermined intervals along the outer periphery of the frame.

[0051] In the present invention, the spacer may be formed integrally with the cover, formed separately from the cover, or formed to be separable.

[0052] In the present invention, in order to maintain the gap, the thickness of the spacer (156) may be 1 mm or more and 2.5 mm or less.

[0053] In the present invention, a tension net having a strain that elastically deforms at a strain greater than the gap can be used as the mesh net of the cover.

[0054] Fig. 4 is a cross-sectional view schematically illustrating a spacer portion of a cosmetic according to another embodiment of the present invention.

[0055] Referring to the drawing, the joint portion of the container body (130) and the frame (152) of the cover is enlarged.

[0056] Unlike the spacer (156) of FIGS. 2 and 3, the cosmetic of FIG. 4 is equipped with a gap-variable spacer (156B) that can adjust the gap between the frame (152) of the cover and the main body (130) of the container.

[0057] Depending on the external force applied to the frame, the frame can be displaced relative to the container body, and as a result, the gap between the sponge (110) and the mesh net (154) can be changed.

[0058] For example, when the mesh net (154) is pressed using a tool such as a puff, the applied load acts on the spacer (156B) to reduce the gap (d) between the sponge (110) and the mesh net (154). Accordingly, the impregnated sponge comes closer to the mesh net, and the cosmetic impregnated in the sponge can be more easily discharged through the aperture of the mesh net.

[0059] Meanwhile, in the present invention, when the load applied to the mesh net is removed, the mesh net (154) can be designed to return to its original gap. In this case, a sufficient gap can be secured between the mesh net and the sponge during the cosmetic product's inactivity period, thereby preventing unintended leakage of the cosmetic product.

[0060] The gap-variable spacer (156B) of the present invention may be implemented by including various elastic mechanisms. For example, the spacer (156B) may include a compression spring mechanism. Fig. 4 merely illustrates an example of a gap-variable spacer applicable to the present invention, and it is obvious that various other elastic restoring mechanisms may be employed in the spacer (156B) of the present invention.

[0061] Experimental Example 1

[0062] A cosmetic container consisting of a container body having a volume of 51 mm and a height of 8 mm, a mesh net cover, and an inner lid was used. A cosmetic composition having a viscosity of 25,000 cps was filled into the container body while the mesh net and the cosmetic composition were in contact with each other without a gap (d). Then, the cosmetic sample was dropped from a height of 1 m with the inner lid closed, and it was observed whether the cosmetic composition was transferred to the inside of the inner lid. At this time, the mesh net used had an aperture size of 20 ㎛.

[0063] The cosmetic compositions used in the experiment are as follows:

[0064] IngredientsIngredient nameContent (weight parts)Oil phase ingredientsPEG-10Dimethicone3Cyclopentasiloxane15Phenyl trimethicone5Octyldodecanol5Propylene glycol dibenzoate4Cyclopentasiloxane, acrylates / dimethicone copolymer2ThickenerDisteardimonium hectoriteAdvantagePigmentTitanium dioxide, aluminum hydroxide, triethoxycaprylylsilane9Titanium dioxide, aluminum hydroxide, stearic acid9Yellow iron oxide, triethoxycaprylylsilane1.5Red iron oxide, triethoxycaprylylsilane0.25Black iron oxide, triethoxycaprylylsilane0.13Mica0.12Water phase ingredientsPurified waterTo 100% niacinamide, 2% adenosine, 0.04% magnesium sulfate, 0.8% glycerin, 8% 1,2-hexanediol, 1.5%

[0065] Figure 5 is a photograph showing the experimental results of this experimental example. Referring to Figure 5, it can be seen that cosmetics are stained on the surface of the inner lid.

[0066]

[0067] Experimental Example 2

[0068] Using the same container as in Experimental Example 1, a 45 ppi polyurethane sponge was impregnated with the same cosmetic composition as in Experimental Example 1 and mounted on the container body to produce a cosmetic sample. With the inner lid of the manufactured cosmetic sample closed, it was dropped from a height of 1 m to observe whether the cosmetic composition was transferred to the inside of the inner lid. A mesh net with an aperture size of 20 μm was used.

[0069] At this time, the gap between the mesh net and the impregnated sponge was varied from 0 mm to 2.5 mm, and the thickness of the sponge of each sample was varied from 5.5 to 8 mm to test.

[0070]

[0071] Figures 6 (a) to (f) are photographs of cosmetic containers with sponge thicknesses of 5.5 mm, 6 mm, 6.5 mm, 7 mm, 7.5 mm, and 8 mm, respectively.

[0072] Referring to Fig. 6, it can be seen that no cosmetic residue is observed in each cosmetic sample.

[0073]

[0074] Experimental Example 3

[0075] Each cosmetic container sample was manufactured and tested under the same conditions as Experimental Example 2, except that a mesh net with an aperture size of 800 μm was used.

[0076]

[0077] Figures 7 (a) to (f) are photographs of cosmetic containers with sponge thicknesses of 5.5 mm, 6 mm, 6.5 mm, 7 mm, 7.5 mm, and 8 mm, respectively.

[0078] Referring to Figure 7, it can be seen that a small amount of content is discharged for samples with sponge thicknesses of 7.5 mm and 8 mm. However, it can be seen that no content is discharged when the gap is 1 mm or more.

[0079] From Fig. 7, it can be seen that even in the case of a mesh with a large aperture size, the phenomenon of cosmetics smudging can be suppressed by adjusting the gap between the mesh and the sponge.

[0080]

[0081] Experimental Example 4

[0082] Using the same container (container body, mesh net cover, inner lid) as Experimental Example 1, a sample was prepared by filling a cosmetic composition having a viscosity of 25,000 cps into the container body while maintaining contact with the mesh net and the cosmetic composition without a gap (d), and then the inner lid was closed and the stability of the contents was observed under different storage conditions.

[0083] Figures 8 (a) and (b) are photographs taken after opening the inner lid and observing the storage condition after one day of storage in an upright and upside-down state, respectively. From the photographs, it can be seen that the contents have leaked or stained.

[0084] Meanwhile, in the same manner, several samples were prepared by impregnating a 45 ppi polyurethane sponge with the same cosmetic composition in a contact state without a gap (d) between the mesh and the cosmetic composition, mounting the sample on the main body of the container, closing the inner lid, and observing the stability of the contents under different storage conditions.

[0085] Figures 9 (a) and (b) are photographs taken after three months of storage in an upright and upside-down state, respectively, with the inner lid opened and the storage state observed, showing that no leakage or staining of the contents occurred during long-term storage.

[0086]

It should be understood that various modifications and variations are possible within the scope of the appended claims and the spirit of the invention, and are construed as falling within the scope of the present invention.

[0088] The present invention can be applied to cosmetics impregnated with liquid cosmetics.
