Abstract
Description
Terminal, terminal control method, storage medium, and system
[0001] The present invention relates to a terminal, a terminal control method, a storage medium, and a system.
[0002] There is a mobile health insurance card system that stores health insurance card information on a mobile phone or the like.
[0003] For example, Patent Document 1 describes a mobile health insurance card system that uses a mobile phone to store health insurance card information instead of a card-type health insurance card, preventing leakage of health insurance card information from the mobile phone and ensuring security. The mobile health insurance card system in Patent Document 1 includes an insurance management server at an insurance management center, a mobile phone, and an insurance card information reader. The insurance management server at the insurance management center manages health insurance card information of insured persons under health insurance or long-term care insurance. The mobile phone is pre-installed with health insurance card application software that enables communication with the insurance management server by detecting that the mobile phone is located within a specific medical institution or long-term care facility and receives the health insurance card information of the insured person. The insurance card information reader is installed in the medical institution or long-term care facility and reads the health insurance card information received by the mobile phone.

[0005] When a patient receives medical care covered by insurance, the patient is required to present their health insurance card to the hospital. This rule also applies to children (minors). However, parents often hesitate to let their children have their health insurance card, fearing that the card may be lost or misused. However, if a child is injured away from home and does not have their health insurance card, they may not be able to receive medical care covered by insurance.
[0006] However, the problem cannot be solved by applying Patent Document 1. Patent Document 1 only discloses a mobile insurance card.
[0007] The main object of the present invention is to provide a terminal, a terminal control method, a storage medium, and a system that contribute to preventing fraudulent use of health insurance cards issued to children and the like.
[0008] According to a first aspect of the present invention, there is provided a terminal including: an acquisition means for acquiring a digital health insurance card, which is a temporary health insurance card with restricted use; and a provision means for providing the acquired temporary health insurance card to an external party.
[0009] According to a second aspect of the present invention, there is provided a method for controlling a terminal, the method including: acquiring a temporary digital health insurance card with restricted use; and providing the acquired temporary health insurance card to an external party.
[0010] According to a third aspect of the present invention, there is provided a computer-readable storage medium that stores a program for causing a computer installed in a terminal to execute an acquisition process for acquiring a digital health insurance card, which is a temporary health insurance card with restricted use, and a provision process for providing the acquired temporary health insurance card to an external party.
[0011] According to a fourth aspect of the present invention, there is provided a system including a terminal held by a second user who has a predetermined relationship with a first user, and a server device, wherein the server device generates a digital insurance card with the second user as the holder, upon receiving a request from the first user for the issuance of a temporary insurance card with restricted use, and transmits the generated temporary insurance card to the terminal.
[0012] According to each aspect of the present invention, a terminal, a terminal control method, a storage medium, and a system are provided that contribute to preventing fraudulent use of health insurance cards issued to children, etc. Note that the effects of the present invention are not limited to those described above. The present invention may achieve other effects instead of or in addition to the above effects.

[0014] First, an overview of one embodiment will be described. Note that the reference numerals in the drawings are added to each element for convenience as an example to facilitate understanding, and the description of this overview is not intended to be limiting in any way. Furthermore, unless otherwise specified, the blocks shown in each drawing represent functional units, not hardware units. Connection lines between blocks in each drawing include both bidirectional and unidirectional lines. Unidirectional arrows are used to schematically indicate the flow of the main signal (data) and do not exclude bidirectionality. Note that in this specification and drawings, elements that can be similarly described may be assigned the same reference numerals to avoid redundant explanation.
[0015] The terminal 100 according to one embodiment includes an acquisition unit 101 and a provision unit 102 (see FIG. 1 ). The acquisition unit 101 acquires a temporary health insurance card, which is a digital health insurance card and has usage restrictions (step S1 in FIG. 2 ). The provision unit 102 provides the acquired temporary health insurance card to an external party (step S2).
[0016] The terminal 100 acquires and internally stores a temporary health insurance card, which is a digital health insurance card with restricted use. The terminal 100 presents the internally stored temporary health insurance card to an external party (e.g., a hospital) in response to an operation by the owner, etc. Use restrictions such as a validity period and valid area can be set for the temporary health insurance card, preventing fraudulent use of the temporary health insurance card.
[0017] Specific embodiments will be described in more detail below with reference to the drawings.
[0018] First Embodiment The first embodiment will be described in more detail with reference to the drawings.
[0019] 3 is a diagram showing an example of a schematic configuration of an information processing system according to the first embodiment. The information processing system according to the first embodiment includes a server device 10.
[0020] The server device 10 is managed and operated by an institution that has the authority to issue health insurance cards (for example, the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare, a city, town or village, a national health insurance association, or a company commissioned by these institutions).
[0021] The parent has a parent terminal 20. The child has a child terminal 30.
[0022] 3 are connected to a network. Specifically, the server device 10, the parent terminal 20, and the child terminal 30 are connected to the network by wired or wireless communication means.
[0023] The configuration of the information processing system shown in Fig. 3 is an example and is not intended to be limiting. For example, although Fig. 3 illustrates one server device 10, the system may include multiple server devices 10.
[0024] [Overall Operation] Next, an overall operation of the information processing system according to the first embodiment will be described.
[0025] <Creating an Account> A user (for example, a parent) can create an account on the server device 10 to receive an electronic health insurance card (hereinafter referred to as a digital health insurance card) from the server device 10.
[0026] To create an account, the user operates the parent / guardian terminal 20 that the user owns to access the server device 10. In response to the access from the parent / guardian terminal 20, the server device 10 displays a web page or the like for creating an account on the parent / guardian terminal 20.
[0027] The user creates an account on the web page. At that time, the server device 10 acquires information necessary for the user's account creation. Specifically, the server device 10 acquires login information (ID, password), biometric information, identification (image data showing the identification), email address, etc.
[0028] Examples of biometric information include data (features) calculated from physical characteristics unique to an individual, such as a face, fingerprint, voiceprint, veins, retina, or iris pattern. Alternatively, the biometric information may be image data such as a face image or fingerprint image. The biometric information may be any information that includes the user's physical characteristics. In the embodiment disclosed herein, a case where biometric information related to a person's "face" (a face image or features generated from a face image) is used will be described.
[0029] The server device 10 performs identity verification using the user's biometric information (for example, a facial image obtained by taking a selfie) and biometric information (facial image) obtained from an identification card. If identity verification is successful, the server device 10 generates a user ID (identifier) for uniquely identifying the user.
[0030] The server device 10 stores the generated user ID, login information, and the name, gender, address, date of birth, email address, etc. obtained from the identification card in association with each other. The server device 10 stores this information in a "user management database." The user management database will be described in detail later.
[0031] By creating an account on the server device 10, the user can receive a digital health insurance card. The user requests the server device 10 to issue a digital health insurance card using the account they have logged in to. In response to the request, the server device 10 issues the digital health insurance card to the user. The server device 10 then sends the digital health insurance card with the digital signature attached to the parent / guardian terminal 20 (see FIG. 4).
[0032] In this disclosure, it is assumed that a user has been issued an existing paper health insurance card. In this disclosure, a digital health insurance card is issued to a user who requests it.
[0033] <Creating a Child's Account> A user can create an account in another person's name on their behalf. Specifically, a parent can create an account on their behalf for their child. For example, a parent can create an account on their behalf for their child (e.g., a child under junior high school age).
[0034] To create an account for the child, the parent registers the child's biometric information (for example, a facial image), the child's identification card, and an email address (an email address that can be received by the child's terminal 30) in the server device 10. If the server device 10 successfully verifies the child's identity, it uses the acquired information to create an account in the child's name.
[0035] When the parent logs in to the account in the child's name, the parent (guardian) can request the server device 10 to issue a digital health insurance card in the child's name. The issued digital health insurance card is stored in the child's terminal 30.
[0036] Furthermore, the parent can request the server device 10 to issue a digital health insurance card with restrictions on the period and area of use. In the following explanation, a digital health insurance card with restrictions on the period and area of use will be referred to as a "temporary health insurance card."
[0037] A parent who logs in to a child's account can set the validity period for the digital health insurance card. In this disclosure, unless otherwise specified, the "validity period" refers to the period set by the user for the temporary health insurance card.
[0038] Alternatively, parents can set the area (validity area) in which the digital health insurance card can be used. For example, parents can set the validity area for the digital health insurance card by prefecture or city, town, or village.
[0039] For example, a parent sets usage restrictions (validity period, valid area) on the digital health insurance card depending on the period the child will be away from home and the destination of the child's travel. The server device 10 generates a temporary health insurance card with usage restrictions set according to the parent's settings. The server device 10 then transmits the generated temporary health insurance card to the child's terminal 30 (see FIG. 5 ).
[0040] The child terminal 30 holds a temporary health insurance card on which usage restrictions are set.
[0041] <Use of digital health insurance card> A user (parent, child) who wishes to receive medical services covered by insurance presents their health insurance card to a hospital, etc. The user who has been issued a digital health insurance card operates a terminal (parent terminal 20, child terminal 30) to present the digital health insurance card to the hospital.
[0042] Specifically, the terminals (parent terminal 20, child terminal 30) convert the contents of the digital health insurance card into a two-dimensional barcode or the like and display it (see FIG. 6).
[0043] The hospital terminal 40 installed in the hospital reads the two-dimensional barcode displayed on the terminal and obtains the contents (information) of the digital health insurance card.
[0044] The hospital terminal 40 verifies the digital signature attached to the digital health insurance card. If the verification is successful, the hospital terminal 40 displays the information written on the digital health insurance card (such as the name of the cardholder). Hospital staff or the like compares the information on the digital health insurance card with the information of the user present (such as the user's given name) and determines whether or not the insurance applies.
[0045] If the digital insurance card is valid, the hospital will provide medical services to the patient (parent or child) covered by insurance.
[0046] If the digital health insurance card presented by the child is a temporary health insurance card, the hospital terminal 40 determines whether or not the insurance is applicable based on the usage restrictions set on the temporary health insurance card.
[0047] The hospital terminal 40 accepts the use of the temporary health insurance card if the child's visit date is within the validity period set on the temporary health insurance card and the hospital is located within the validity area set on the temporary health insurance card. In this case, the hospital provides medical services to the patient (child) under insurance coverage.
[0048] On the other hand, if the validity period set on the temporary health insurance card has expired or the area of validity set on the temporary health insurance card differs from the location of the hospital, the hospital terminal 40 will refuse to use the temporary health insurance card. In this case, the hospital terminal 40 will notify staff or the like that the temporary health insurance card read from the child terminal 30 cannot be used. In this case, the hospital will not provide medical services covered by insurance to the patient (child).
[0049] As described above, the information processing system includes a terminal (e.g., child terminal 30) owned by a second user (e.g., child) who has a predetermined relationship with a first user (e.g., parent), and a server device 10. The server device 10 accepts a request from the first user (parent) for issuance of a temporary health insurance card with restricted use, which is a digital health insurance card named in the name of the second user (child). In response to a request from the first user (parent; guardian), the server device 10 generates a temporary health insurance card and transmits the generated temporary health insurance card to the terminal (child terminal 30). More specifically, the server device 10 accepts a request from the first user (parent) for issuance of a temporary health insurance card for an account created by the first user (parent) for the second user (child) and named in the name of the second user (child).
[0050] Next, details of each device included in the information processing system according to the first embodiment will be described.
[0051] 7 is a diagram illustrating an example of a processing configuration (processing modules) of the server device 10 according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. Referring to FIG. 7, the server device 10 includes a communication control unit 201, an account generation unit 202, an insurance card control unit 203, and a storage unit 204.
[0052] The communication control unit 201 is a means for controlling communication with other devices. For example, the communication control unit 201 receives data (packets) from the parent terminal 20. The communication control unit 201 also transmits data to the parent terminal 20. The communication control unit 201 passes data received from other devices to other processing modules. The communication control unit 201 transmits data acquired from other processing modules to other devices. In this way, other processing modules transmit and receive data to and from other devices via the communication control unit 201. The communication control unit 201 has a function as a receiving unit that receives data from other devices and a function as a transmitting unit that transmits data to other devices.
[0053] The account generation unit 202 is a means for generating an account for a user. For example, the account generation unit 202 acquires login information (e.g., ID and password), biometric information (e.g., face image), image data showing an identification card, an email address, etc. from the parent terminal 20 using a GUI (Graphical User Interface) or the like.
[0054] The account generation unit 202 extracts a face image from image data showing the identification card.
[0055] Since existing technology can be used for the facial image extraction process by the account generation unit 202, detailed description thereof will be omitted. For example, the account generation unit 202 may extract a facial image (facial region) from image data using a learning model trained by a convolutional neural network (CNN). Alternatively, the account generation unit 202 may extract a facial image using a technique such as template matching.
[0056] The account generation unit 202 performs authentication processing (one-to-one authentication) using two facial images (a facial image of the user obtained by photographing, and a facial image extracted from an identification card). Specifically, the account generation unit 202 generates feature quantities from each of the two facial images.
[0057] Since existing technology can be used for the feature generation process, a detailed description thereof will be omitted. For example, the account generation unit 202 extracts the eyes, nose, mouth, etc. from the facial image as feature points. Then, the account generation unit 202 calculates the positions of the feature points and the distances between the feature points as feature amounts, and generates a feature vector (vector information that characterizes the facial image) consisting of multiple feature amounts.
[0058] The account generation unit 202 calculates the similarity between the two generated feature quantities. The similarity can be calculated using chi-square distance, Euclidean distance, etc. The greater the distance, the lower the similarity, and the closer the distance, the higher the similarity.
[0059] If the similarity is equal to or greater than a predetermined value, the account generation unit 202 determines that the identity verification (authentication) is successful. If the similarity is smaller than the predetermined value, the account generation unit 202 determines that the identity verification is unsuccessful.
[0060] If the identity verification is successful, the account generation unit 202 reads attribute information (name, gender, date of birth, address, etc.) from the identification card. Specifically, the account generation unit 202 reads the name, gender, address, date of birth, etc. from image data showing the identification card using OCR (Optical Character Recognition) technology.
[0061] Thereafter, the account generation unit 202 generates a user ID for identifying the user. The user ID may be any information that can uniquely identify the user. For example, the account generation unit 202 assigns a unique value each time an account is created for the user, and uses the assigned value as the user ID.
[0062] The account generation unit 202 sets the account type of the generated account to "normal."
[0063] The account generation unit 202 stores the account type, user ID, login information, name, gender, address, date of birth, email address, etc. in a user management database (see FIG. 8). Note that the user management database shown in FIG. 8 is an example and is not intended to limit the items to be stored. For example, the user's facial image and feature values may be stored in the user management database as biometric information.
[0064] The account generation unit 202 also has a function of generating an account in the name of another person on behalf of the other person.
[0065] When an account holder (e.g., a parent) performs a specified action (e.g., pressing the “Generate Proxy Account” button) with the logged-in account, the account generation unit 202 obtains information about the account holder (e.g., a child) of the account to be generated on their behalf.
[0066] Specifically, the account generation unit 202 acquires the child's biometric information (for example, a facial image obtained by photographing), an identification card, an email address (an email address that can be received by the child terminal 30), etc. The account generation unit 202 also acquires login information for logging in to the proxy account.
[0067] The account generation unit 202 performs identity verification using a facial image of the child and a facial image obtained from the child's identification card. If identity verification is successful, the account generation unit 202 generates an account for the proxy account holder (child).
[0068] The account generation unit 202 generates a user ID for the proxy account holder. The account generation unit 202 sets the type of the generated account to "proxy."
[0069] The account generation unit 202 stores the account type, user ID, login information, child's name, gender, address, date of birth, email address, etc. in the user management database. The account generation unit 202 may also store the user ID of the user who generated the proxy account in the entry for the proxy account.
[0070] The account generation unit 202 executes control so that the duplication of login information between users does not occur.
[0071] When a user (e.g., a parent) logs in to their own account, they use the login information for an account whose account type is set to "normal." When a user logs in to an account created on their behalf (e.g., an account in their child's name), they use the login information for an account whose account type is set to "proxy."
[0072] The health insurance card control unit 203 is a means for controlling the digital health insurance card.
[0073] Health insurance card control unit 203 operates differently depending on the type of account into which the user logs in.
[0074] First, the operation of health insurance card control unit 203 when a user (for example, a parent) logs in to their own account (normal account) will be described.
[0075] In this case, the health insurance card control unit 203 can issue a digital health insurance card in the user's name. Specifically, when the user performs a predetermined operation on the account (portal site) to which they have logged in, the health insurance card control unit 203 issues the digital health insurance card.
[0076] For example, the health insurance card control unit 203 obtains the information necessary for issuing a digital health insurance card by transmitting information (for example, name or a combination of name and date of birth) that identifies the user (person to whom the health insurance card is issued) to an external server (not shown in FIG. 3, etc.) that manages the insurer number, etc. Alternatively, the information necessary for issuing a digital health insurance card may be registered in advance in the storage unit 204 of the server device 10.
[0077] The health insurance card control unit 203 attaches a digital signature to the digital data (file) containing the acquired information, and generates a digital health insurance card.
[0078] The health insurance card control unit 203 sends the generated digital health insurance card to the user's email address (for example, an email address that can be received by the parent / guardian terminal 20).
[0079] Next, the operation of health insurance card control unit 203 when a user (for example, a parent) logs in to a proxy account (an account in the name of a child) will be described.
[0080] Health insurance card control unit 203 displays a GUI such as that shown in FIG. 9 on parent / guardian terminal 20 in response to a user's operation.
[0081] When a user requests issuance of a digital health insurance card, the health insurance card control unit 203 issues a digital health insurance card without the use restrictions described above. For example, the health insurance card control unit 203 generates a digital health insurance card in the child's name with no use restrictions. The health insurance card control unit 203 sends the generated digital health insurance card to an email address that can be received by the child's terminal 30.
[0082] When a user requests the issuance of a temporary health insurance card, the health insurance card control unit 203 acquires the usage restrictions to be set for the temporary health insurance card. For example, the health insurance card control unit 203 displays a GUI such as that shown in FIG. 10 on the parent / guardian terminal 20 to acquire the validity period and validity area.
[0083] When the usage restrictions to be set for the temporary health insurance card are obtained, the health insurance card control unit 203 sends information identifying the user (child) who will be the holder of the temporary health insurance card (e.g., the child's name, etc.) to an external server and obtains the information necessary to generate a digital health insurance card.
[0084] The health insurance card control unit 203 generates a temporary health insurance card by attaching a digital signature to digital data (file) including the acquired information and usage restrictions (validity period and / or validity area).
[0085] The health insurance card control unit 203 transmits the generated temporary health insurance card to the child terminal 30 .
[0086] The storage unit 204 is a means for storing information necessary for the operation of the server device 10 .
[0087] 11 is a diagram illustrating an example of a processing configuration (processing module) of child terminal 30 according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. Referring to FIG. 11 , child terminal 30 includes a communication control unit 301, an insurance card control unit 302, and a storage unit 303.
[0088] The communication control unit 301 is a means for controlling communication with other devices. For example, the communication control unit 301 receives data (packets) from the server device 10. The communication control unit 301 also transmits data to the server device 10. The communication control unit 301 passes data received from other devices to other processing modules. The communication control unit 301 transmits data acquired from other processing modules to other devices. In this way, other processing modules transmit and receive data to and from other devices via the communication control unit 301. The communication control unit 301 has a function as a receiving unit that receives data from other devices and a function as a transmitting unit that transmits data to other devices.
[0089] The health insurance card control unit 302 is a means for controlling digital health insurance cards and temporary health insurance cards. The health insurance card control unit 302 has a function as an acquisition unit that acquires a temporary health insurance card, which is a digital health insurance card and has usage restrictions, and a function as a provision unit that provides the acquired temporary health insurance card to an external party.
[0090] The health insurance card control unit 302 receives the digital health insurance card or temporary health insurance card from the server device 10. The health insurance card control unit 302 stores the received digital health insurance card or temporary health insurance card in the storage unit 303.
[0091] When a user (e.g., a child) performs a predetermined action, the health insurance card control unit 302 provides the digital health insurance card or temporary health insurance card to an external device. Specifically, the health insurance card control unit 302 converts the information written on the digital health insurance card or temporary health insurance card into a two-dimensional barcode or the like. The health insurance card control unit 302 displays the converted two-dimensional barcode.
[0092] Alternatively, the health insurance card control unit 302 may provide information on the digital health insurance card or temporary health insurance card to an external party using a communication means such as Bluetooth (registered trademark) or NFC (Near Field Communication).
[0093] The storage unit 303 stores information necessary for the operation of the child terminal 30 .
[0094] 12 is a diagram illustrating an example of a processing configuration (processing module) of the hospital terminal 40 according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. Referring to FIG. 12, the hospital terminal 40 includes a communication control unit 401, an insurance card control unit 402, and a storage unit 403.
[0095] The hospital terminal 40 is connected to a management server (not shown in FIG. 3 etc.) that manages patient information, etc. The hospital terminal 40 acquires the patient's consultation number, etc. from the management server and presents it to staff, etc. The operation of the hospital terminal 40 and the management server is different from the spirit of the present disclosure, so detailed explanation will be omitted.
[0096] The communication control unit 401 is a means for controlling communication with other devices. For example, the communication control unit 401 receives data (packets) from a management server. The communication control unit 401 also transmits data to the management server. The communication control unit 401 passes data received from other devices to other processing modules. The communication control unit 401 transmits data acquired from other processing modules to other devices. In this way, other processing modules transmit and receive data to and from other devices via the communication control unit 401. The communication control unit 401 has a function as a receiving unit that receives data from other devices and a function as a transmitting unit that transmits data to other devices.
[0097] Health insurance card control unit 402 is a means for controlling the health insurance card presented by the user.
[0098] Health insurance card control unit 402 reads the two-dimensional barcode displayed on parent terminal 20 or child terminal 30 in response to an operation by a hospital staff member or the like.
[0099] The health insurance card control unit 402 decodes the two-dimensional barcode to read the information written on the digital health insurance card or temporary health insurance card, and verifies the digital signature attached to the digital health insurance card or temporary health insurance card.
[0100] If the digital signature verification is successful and a digital health insurance card with no usage restrictions is presented, the health insurance card control unit 402 displays the information written on the digital health insurance card (such as the name of the digital health insurance card holder).
[0101] If the digital signature is successfully verified and a temporary health insurance card with usage restrictions is presented, the health insurance card control unit 402 determines the validity of the temporary health insurance card.
[0102] Specifically, if the date of a patient's visit to a hospital presenting a temporary health insurance card falls within the validity period set on the temporary health insurance card and the hospital is located within the validity area set on the temporary health insurance card, the health insurance card control unit 402 determines that the temporary health insurance card is valid. In this case, the health insurance card control unit 402 displays the information written on the temporary health insurance card (such as the name of the temporary health insurance card holder).
[0103] On the other hand, if the validity period set on the temporary health insurance card has expired or the validity area set on the temporary health insurance card differs from the location of the hospital, the health insurance card control unit 402 determines that the temporary health insurance card is invalid. In this case, the health insurance card control unit 402 notifies a staff member or the like that the temporary health insurance card presented by the child terminal 30 is invalid.
[0104] The storage unit 403 stores information necessary for the operation of the hospital terminal 40 .
[0105] [Parent Terminal] Examples of the parent terminal 20 include mobile terminal devices such as smartphones, mobile phones, game consoles, and tablets, as well as computers (personal computers, laptop computers). The parent terminal 20 can be any equipment or device that can accept user operations and communicate with the server device 10, etc. The configuration of the parent terminal 20 is clear from the description of the child terminal 30 above, so a detailed description will be omitted.
[0106] [System Operation] Next, the operation of the information processing system according to the first embodiment will be described.
[0107] 13 is a sequence diagram illustrating an example of the operation of the information processing system according to the embodiment of the present disclosure, which will be described with reference to FIG. 13 when a temporary health insurance card is used.
[0108] In response to an operation by the user (child), the child terminal 30 presents the temporary health insurance card to the hospital (step S01). For example, the child terminal 30 displays the temporary health insurance card converted into a two-dimensional barcode, as shown in FIG.
[0109] The hospital terminal 40 reads the two-dimensional barcode displayed on the child terminal 30 in response to an operation by a hospital staff member or the like, and acquires a temporary health insurance card (step S02).
[0110] The hospital terminal 40 verifies the digital signature attached to the temporary health insurance card (step S03).
[0111] If the digital signature is successfully verified, the hospital terminal 40 determines the validity of the presented temporary health insurance card based on the usage restrictions set on the temporary health insurance card (step S04). The hospital terminal 40 determines the validity of the temporary health insurance card based on the validity period and validity area set on the temporary health insurance card.
[0112] The hospital terminal 40 notifies the hospital staff or the like of the determination result regarding the validity of the temporary health insurance card (step S05). For example, if the temporary health insurance card is valid, the hospital terminal 40 displays a message as shown in FIG.
[0113] Next, a modification of the first embodiment will be described.
[0114] <Variation 1> The server device 10 may transmit the temporary health insurance card to a terminal carried by a person other than the proxy account holder (e.g., the child). For example, the server device 10 may transmit the temporary health insurance card to a terminal carried by a school teacher, coach, or the like who is accompanying the child.
[0115] In this case, the server device 10 may acquire the destination (email address) of the temporary health insurance card using a GUI such as that shown in Fig. 16. The server device 10 then transmits the temporary health insurance card to the acquired destination.
[0116] In this manner, server device 10 receives an instruction from a first user (e.g., a parent) to send the temporary health insurance card to a destination other than child terminal 30 possessed by a second user (e.g., a child). Server device 10 then transmits the generated temporary health insurance card to the destination instructed by the first user (e.g., a terminal possessed by a school teacher, coach, etc.).
[0117] <Modification 2> The terminals (parent terminal 20, child terminal 30) may perform biometric authentication when presenting a digital health insurance card or a temporary health insurance card. For example, the child terminal 30 stores in advance biometric information (facial image or feature values) of the child who is the owner.
[0118] The health insurance card control unit 302 of the child terminal 30 acquires biometric information of the user (the user operating the child terminal 30) before displaying the digital health insurance card or temporary health insurance card. The health insurance card control unit 302 performs biometric authentication using the biometric information stored in advance and the acquired biometric information.
[0119] If the biometric authentication is successful, the health insurance card control unit 302 displays the display shown in Fig. 14. If the biometric authentication is unsuccessful, the health insurance card control unit 302 does not display the two-dimensional barcode into which the temporary health insurance card or the like has been converted.
[0120] <Variation 3> In the above embodiment, a case has been described in which a parent creates an account for a child on behalf of the child and uses the created proxy account to request the issuance of a temporary health insurance card from server device 10. However, the parent may not create a proxy account, but may instead carry out procedures for the issuance of a temporary health insurance card using the child's own account.
[0121] For example, a parent and a child may operate the child's terminal 30 together to log in to the child's account. The parent's email address is registered in the child's account. The parent may request the issuance of a temporary health insurance card with usage restrictions set for the account.
[0122] The health insurance card control unit 203 of the server device 10 inquires of the parent's email address whether or not a temporary health insurance card can be issued.
[0123] When the health insurance card control unit 203 receives a response from the parent's guardian terminal 20 permitting the issuance of a temporary health insurance card, it sends the temporary health insurance card to the child terminal 30. When the health insurance card control unit 203 receives a response from the parent's guardian terminal 20 denying the issuance of a temporary health insurance card, it does not send the temporary health insurance card to the child terminal 30.
[0124] <Variation 4> A parent may issue a digital health insurance card (temporary health insurance card) in the name of their child using their own account. In this case, the server device 10 displays a menu screen such as "Issue digital health insurance card in child's name" or "Issue temporary health insurance card in child's name" on the parent terminal 20 of the user who has logged in to their own account.
[0125] When the issuance of a digital health insurance card in the child's name or a temporary health insurance card is selected, the health insurance card control unit 203 of the server device 10 obtains the child's biometric information (e.g., facial image), name, gender, address, date of birth, identification card (identification card in the child's name), email address, etc.
[0126] If the health insurance card control unit 203 successfully verifies the identity of the child, it generates a digital health insurance card or a temporary health insurance card in the child's name. The health insurance card control unit 203 then transmits the generated digital health insurance card or the like to the child's terminal 30.
[0127] As described above, the server device 10 according to the first embodiment issues a digital health insurance card in the name of a child with restricted use in response to a request from a parent (guardian). The parent can set the validity period and validity area of the digital health insurance card depending on the period and destination of the child's absence from home, such as for a sports training camp or school event. The digital health insurance card with the set validity period and validity area is stored as a temporary health insurance card on the child's device 30 carried by the child. If the child is injured at a training camp or other event away from home, the child can present the temporary health insurance card to a hospital. As a result, the child can receive medical services under the insurance coverage. Furthermore, since the validity period and validity area are set on the temporary health insurance card, the temporary health insurance card cannot be used fraudulently (reducing the possibility of fraudulent use).
[0128] Next, the hardware of each device constituting the information processing system will be described. Fig. 17 is a diagram showing an example of the hardware configuration of the child terminal 30.
[0129] The child terminal 30 can be configured by an information processing device (so-called computer), and has the configuration exemplified in Fig. 17. For example, the child terminal 30 includes a processor 311, a memory 312, an input / output interface 313, and a communication interface 314. The components such as the processor 311 are connected by an internal bus or the like, and are configured to be able to communicate with each other.
[0130] However, the configuration shown in Fig. 17 is not intended to limit the hardware configuration of the child terminal 30. The child terminal 30 may include hardware not shown, and may not include the input / output interface 313 as necessary. Furthermore, the number of processors 311 and the like included in the child terminal 30 is not intended to be limited to the example shown in Fig. 17, and for example, the child terminal 30 may include multiple processors 311.
[0131] The processor 311 is a programmable device such as a central processing unit (CPU), a micro processing unit (MPU), or a digital signal processor (DSP). Alternatively, the processor 311 may be a device such as a field programmable gate array (FPGA) or an application specific integrated circuit (ASIC). The processor 311 executes various programs including an operating system (OS).
[0132] The memory 312 is a random access memory (RAM), a read only memory (ROM), a hard disk drive (HDD), a solid state drive (SSD), etc. The memory 312 stores an OS program, application programs, and various data.
[0133] The input / output interface 313 is an interface for a display device and an input device (not shown). The display device is, for example, a liquid crystal display. The input device is, for example, a keyboard, a mouse, a touch panel, or the like that accepts user operations.
[0134] The communication interface 314 is a circuit, module, etc. that communicates with other devices. For example, the communication interface 314 includes a network interface card (NIC).
[0135] The functions of the child terminal 30 are realized by various processing modules. The processing modules are realized, for example, by the processor 311 executing a program stored in the memory 312. The program can be recorded on a computer-readable storage medium. The storage medium can be a non-transitory medium such as a semiconductor memory, a hard disk, a magnetic recording medium, or an optical recording medium. That is, the present invention can also be embodied as a computer program product. The program can be downloaded via a network or updated using a storage medium storing the program. Furthermore, the processing modules can be realized by a semiconductor chip.
[0136] The server device 10, parent terminal 20, etc. can also be configured by information processing devices in the same way as the child terminal 30, and their basic hardware configurations are no different from those of the child terminal 30, so a description thereof will be omitted.
[0137] The child terminal 30 is equipped with a computer, and the computer executes a program to realize the functions of the child terminal 30. The child terminal 30 also executes a control method for the child terminal 30 by the program.
[0138] [Modification] The configuration, operation, etc. of the information processing system described in the above embodiment are merely examples, and are not intended to limit the configuration, etc. of the system.
[0139] In the above embodiment, a case has been described in which a validity period and a validity area are set for a temporary health insurance card. However, a temporary health insurance card may be set with either a validity period or a validity area. That is, a temporary health insurance card may be set with either a period during which the temporary health insurance card can be used or a region during which the temporary health insurance card can be used.
[0140] In the above embodiment, a case has been described in which a parent requests the server device 10 to issue a digital health insurance card or a temporary health insurance card in the name of the child. However, a child may request the server device 10 to issue a digital health insurance card or the like in the name of the parent. For example, a child may carry out the procedure for issuing a temporary health insurance card or the like for an elderly parent.
[0141] The temporary health insurance card may be set with information other than usage restrictions (validity period, valid area). For example, the server device 10 may issue a temporary health insurance card with the guardian's name and contact information (telephone number, email address, etc.) set. The hospital terminal 40 may notify hospital staff, etc. of the guardian's information based on the guardian's information set on the temporary health insurance card. The hospital staff, etc. may make necessary contact with the guardian based on the notified information.
[0142] When displaying the temporary health insurance card in response to an operation by the user (child), the child terminal 30 may display a facial image of the user (child) along with a two-dimensional barcode (see FIG. 18 ). In this case, the server device 10 may issue a temporary health insurance card including a facial image of the insured person (the person whose name is on the temporary health insurance card). Alternatively, the child terminal 30 may acquire the facial image of the user in advance and store it internally. By displaying the facial image of the user (child) on the child terminal 30, hospital staff and the like can verify the identity of the user by visually comparing the facial image displayed on the child terminal 30 with the face of the user in front of them.
[0143] In the above embodiment, the hospital terminal 40 determines whether or not insurance coverage is available based on usage restrictions set on the temporary health insurance card. The determination of whether or not insurance coverage is available may be performed by the child terminal 30. That is, the child terminal 30 may determine the validity of the temporary health insurance card based on usage restrictions (validity period, validity area) set on the temporary health insurance card. In this case, the health insurance card control unit 302 of the child terminal 30 determines the validity of the temporary health insurance card using time information managed by the child terminal 30 and location information obtained from a GPS (Global Positioning System) or the like. If the temporary health insurance card is determined to be valid (insurance coverage is available) based on the validity period and validity area, the health insurance card control unit 302 displays a screen including a two-dimensional barcode such as that shown in FIG. 14 or FIG. 18. If the temporary health insurance card is determined to be invalid (insurance coverage is unavailable) based on the validity period and validity area, the health insurance card control unit 302 does not display a screen such as that shown in FIG. 14 or FIG. 18. By providing the child terminal 30 with the function of determining the validity of the temporary health insurance card in this way, there is no need to implement a function for determining the validity of the temporary health insurance card in the hospital terminal 40. An application installed on the child terminal 30 can determine the validity of the temporary health insurance card.
[0144] In the above embodiment, the user management database is configured within server device 10, but the database may also be configured on an external database server or the like. That is, some of the functions of server device 10 may be implemented in another device. More specifically, the above-described "health insurance card control unit (health insurance card control means)" and the like may be implemented in any of the devices included in the system.
[0145] The form of data transmission and reception between each device (e.g., server device 10, parent terminal 20, child terminal 30) is not particularly limited, but data transmitted and received between these devices may be encrypted. Biometric information of users and the like is transmitted and received between these devices, and in order to appropriately protect this information, it is desirable to transmit and receive encrypted data.
[0146] In the flow charts (flowcharts, sequence diagrams) used in the above explanation, multiple steps (processes) are described in order, but the order of execution of the steps executed in the embodiments is not limited to the order described. In the embodiments, the order of the steps shown in the drawings can be changed to the extent that the content is not affected, such as by executing each process in parallel.
[0147] The above-described embodiments have been described in detail to facilitate understanding of the present disclosure, and it is not intended that all of the above-described configurations are required. Furthermore, when multiple embodiments are described, each embodiment may be used alone or in combination. For example, it is possible to replace part of the configuration of one embodiment with the configuration of another embodiment, or to add the configuration of another embodiment to the configuration of one embodiment. Furthermore, it is possible to add, delete, or replace part of the configuration of one embodiment with another configuration.
[0148] The above explanation makes clear the industrial applicability of the present invention, and the present invention can be suitably applied to information processing systems that issue mobile health insurance cards (digital health insurance cards), etc.
