Description

Terminal

[0001] The present disclosure relates to a terminal that measures inter-link interference.

[0002] The 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) is developing specifications for the 5th generation mobile communication system (5G, also known as New Radio (NR) or Next Generation (NG)), and is also developing specifications for the next generation of mobile communication systems, known as Beyond 5G, 5G Evolution, or 6G.

[0003] Inter-UE (hereinafter referred to as inter-UE or UE-to-UE) link interference (CLI) is known to occur when uplink (UL) transmissions from other UEs interfere with downlink (DL) reception from a base station (next generation NodeB, gNB).To address the CLI between the interfered UE and the interfering UE, the affected UE can measure the CLI and report the measurement results to the gNB.

[0004] In particular, when Subband Non-Overlapping Full Duplex (SBFD) is applied, the impact of CLI may be significant. SBFD is a duplexing scheme that enables simultaneous use of DL and UL by utilizing DL and UL bands that share the same time unit of time in a time division duplexing (TDD) band. Therefore, when SBFD is applied, there is a risk that UL transmissions from other UEs may interfere with DL reception from the gNB, i.e., the frequency of CLI occurrence may increase. Therefore, when SBFD is applied, the extension of conventional CLI support is being considered (Non-Patent Document 1).

[0005] “Study on evolution of NR duplex operation”, RP-213591, 3GPP TSG RAN #94-e, Berlin, December, 6 - 17, 2021

[0006] Conventionally, measurement and reporting of inter-UE CLI has been performed on a TDD band (wideband) basis. Specifically, to determine the occurrence of inter-UE CLI, the received power of a reference signal or the received signal strength has been measured and reported on a wideband basis.

[0007] However, when the above-mentioned SBFD is applied, there is a risk that the CLI strength may differ between frequency resources (subbands) that make up the wideband and frequency resources that are close to the UL band and frequency resources that are far from the UL band. In such a case, there is a problem that the UE cannot measure the CLI appropriately.

[0008] Therefore, the present disclosure has been made in consideration of such circumstances, and aims to provide a terminal that can appropriately measure CLI even when SBFD is applied.

[0009] One aspect of the disclosure is a terminal that includes a receiving unit (radio signal transmitting / receiving unit 210) that receives a signal for measuring link interference with other terminals, and a control unit (control unit 270) that measures the link interference in a resource group consisting of a plurality of frequency resources based on the signal, and the control unit measures the link interference in units of the frequency resources.

FIG. 5 is a functional block diagram of a base station. FIG. 6 is a diagram explaining an example of CLI. FIG. 7 is a diagram showing the relationship between SBFD and subbands in an embodiment. FIG. 8 is a diagram showing an example of the hardware configuration of a base station and a terminal. FIG. 9 is a diagram showing an example configuration of a vehicle.

[0011] Hereinafter, embodiments will be described with reference to the drawings. Note that the same or similar reference numerals are used to designate the same functions or configurations, and descriptions thereof will be omitted as appropriate.

[0012] (1) Configuration of Wireless Communication System (1.1) General Configuration The wireless communication system 10 shown in Fig. 1 is a wireless communication system conforming to a method called 5G. Alternatively, the wireless communication system 10 may be a wireless communication system conforming to a method called Beyond 5G, 5G Evolution, or 6G.

[0013] The wireless communication system 10 can support Massive Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (Massive MIMO), which generates more directional beams by controlling wireless signals transmitted from multiple antenna elements, Carrier Aggregation (CA), which uses multiple component carriers (CCs) as a bundle, and Dual Connectivity (DC), which enables simultaneous communication with two base stations.

[0014] As shown in FIG. 1 , the wireless communication system 10 includes a Next Generation-Radio Access Network (NG-RAN) 20, a base station (next generation NodeB, gNB) 100 connected to the NG-RAN 20, and a terminal (user equipment, UE) 200 that performs wireless communication with the gNB 100. The NG-RAN 20 is connected to a core network (CN) (not shown). The NG-RAN 20 and the CN may be simply referred to as a "network." The gNB 100 may also be considered to be included in the network. Note that the specific configuration of the wireless communication system 10, for example, the number of gNBs 100 and UEs 200, is not limited to the example shown in FIG. 1 .

[0015] The wireless communication system 10 may also support multiple frequency ranges (FR). That is, as shown in Fig. 2, the wireless communication system 10 may support the following FRs: FR1: 410 MHz to 7.125 GHz FR2-1: 24.25 GHz to 52.6 GHz FR2-2: Over 52.6 GHz to 71 GHz

[0016] In FR1, a subcarrier spacing (SCS) of 15, 30, or 60 kHz and a bandwidth (BW) of 5 to 100 MHz may be used, while in FR2-1, an SCS of 60 or 120 kHz (including 240 kHz) and a BW of 50 to 400 MHz may be used.

[0017] In FR2-2, to avoid an increase in phase noise, Cyclic Prefix-Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (CP-OFDM) or Discrete Fourier Transform-Spread-Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (DFT-S-OFDM) with a larger SCS may be applied.

[0018] 3, one slot in the wireless communication system 10 is composed of 14 symbols. If this configuration is maintained, the larger (wider) the SCS, the shorter the symbol period (and slot period). Note that the SCS is not limited to the frequencies shown in FIG. 3 and may be, for example, 480 kHz, 960 kHz, or other frequencies.

[0019] Furthermore, the number of symbols constituting one slot does not necessarily have to be 14, but may be, for example, 28 or 56. Furthermore, the number of slots per subframe may differ depending on the SCS.

[0020] (2) Functional Block Configuration of Wireless Communication System (2.1) Functional Block Configuration of Terminal As shown in FIG. 4, the UE 200 includes a wireless signal transmitting / receiving unit 210, an amplifier unit 220, a modulation / demodulation unit 230, a control signal / reference signal processing unit 240, an encoding / decoding unit 250, a data transmitting / receiving unit 260, and a control unit 270.

[0021] The radio signal transmitting / receiving unit 210 transmits and receives radio signals to and from the gNB 100. The radio signal transmitting / receiving unit 210 may be configured as a transmitting unit that transmits radio signals to the gNB 100 and a receiving unit that receives radio signals from the gNB 100.

[0022] In the embodiment, the radio signal transceiver 210 can receive a reference signal from another UE 200 to measure the CLI with the other UE 200. The reference signal is, for example, a Sounding Reference Signal (SRS). Furthermore, the radio signal transceiver 210 can receive a signal from the gNB 100 to measure the CLI with the other UE 200. This signal is a signal that is the basis of a CLI-Received Signal Strength Indicator (CLI-RSSI), which will be described later, and is not particularly limited. Any signal that can be received from the gNB 100 may be used, including not only a reference signal but also a control signal (control channel), a data signal (data channel), and the like. In this specification, the reference signal received from the UE 200 and the signal received from the gNB 100 are not distinguished from each other, and may be simply referred to as a "signal" or a "signal for measuring the CLI." Furthermore, the radio signal transceiver 210 can report the measurement result of the CLI measured by the control unit 270 to the gNB 100.

[0023] The radio signal transmitting and receiving unit 210 of the embodiment can report the above-mentioned CLI measurement results in subbands (in units of subbands) described below. Furthermore, the radio signal transmitting and receiving unit 210 can report measurement results of the above-mentioned CLI that satisfy trigger conditions described below among the above-mentioned CLI measurement results. Meanwhile, the radio signal transmitting and receiving unit 210 can also report the above-mentioned CLI measurement results in a wideband consisting of multiple subbands.

[0024] The amplifier unit 220 is configured by a power amplifier (PA) / low noise amplifier (LNA), etc. The amplifier unit 220 amplifies the radio signal output from the radio signal transmitting / receiving unit 210. The amplifier unit 220 also amplifies the radio signal output from the modulation / demodulation unit 230.

[0025] The modem unit 230 performs data modulation / demodulation, transmission power setting, resource block allocation, etc. for each predetermined communication destination (gNB 100 or another gNB). CP-OFDM / DFT-S-OFDM may be applied to the modem unit 230. Furthermore, DFT-S-OFDM may be used not only for the uplink (UL) but also for the downlink (DL).

[0026] The control signal / reference signal processing unit 240 performs processing related to control signals transmitted and received between the gNB 100, such as radio resource control (RRC) signaling.

[0027] The control signal / reference signal processing unit 240 performs processing related to reference signals transmitted and received between the gNB 100, such as Demodulation Reference Signal (DMRS), Phase Tracking Reference Signal (PTRS), Channel State Information-Reference Signal (CSI-RS), Sounding Reference Signal (SRS), and Positioning Reference Signal (PRS).

[0028] The channels include control channels and data channels. The control channels include a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH), a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH), a physical random access channel (PRACH), a physical broadcast channel (PBCH), etc. The data channels include a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH), a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH), etc.

[0029] The encoding / decoding unit 250 performs division / concatenation and coding / decoding of data contained in the radio signal for each predetermined communication destination (gNB100 or another gNB).

[0030] Specifically, the encoding / decoding unit 250 decodes the data output from the modem unit 230 and concatenates the decoded data. In addition, the encoding / decoding unit 250 divides the data output from the data transmitter / receiver 260 into pieces of a predetermined size and performs coding on the divided data.

[0031] The data transmitter / receiver 260 assembles and disassembles data units (Protocol Data Units (PDUs) / Service Data Units (SDUs)) that make up data between each layer. The multiple layers include a Medium Access Control (MAC) layer, a Radio Link Control (RLC) layer, and a Packet Data Convergence Protocol (PDCP) layer. The data transmitter / receiver 260 also performs data error correction and retransmission control based on Hybrid Automatic Repeat Request (HARQ).

[0032] The control unit 270 controls the UE 200. The control unit 270 controls, for example, transmission and reception of radio signals by the radio signal transmission and reception unit 210, amplification by the amplifier unit 220, data modulation / demodulation by the modem unit 230, signal processing by the control signal and reference signal processing unit 240, coding / decoding by the encoding / decoding unit 250, and assembly / disassembly of data units by the data transmission and reception unit 260.

[0033] The control unit 270 of the embodiment can measure the CLI by measuring the received power of a reference signal (e.g., SRS-Reference Signal Received Power (SRS-RSRP)) received by the radio signal transmitting / receiving unit 210 from another UE 200. More specifically, the UE 200 determines whether or not a CLI has occurred by comparing the measured received power of the reference signal with a predetermined threshold.

[0034] The control unit 270 of the embodiment can measure the reception strength (e.g., CLI-RSSI) of a signal received by the radio signal transceiver unit 210 from the gNB 100, thereby measuring the CLI. More specifically, the UE 200 determines whether or not a CLI has occurred by comparing the measured reception strength of the signal with a predetermined threshold.

[0035] The control unit 270 of the embodiment may measure both the received power of the reference signal and the received strength of the signal, thereby measuring the CLI. More specifically, the UE 200 may determine whether or not the CLI has occurred by comparing the measured received power of the reference signal and the received strength of the signal with their corresponding predetermined thresholds.

[0036] In this specification, "measuring CLI" may mean measuring the received power of a reference signal, or may mean determining whether CLI has occurred, or may mean both.

[0037] The control unit 270 of the embodiment can measure the CLI in a subband (in units of subbands) to be described later. On the other hand, the control unit 270 can also measure the CLI in a wideband consisting of multiple subbands.

[0038] (2.2) Functional block configuration of base station As shown in Figure 5, the gNB100 includes a radio signal transceiver unit 110 and a control unit 120.

[0039] The radio signal transmitting / receiving unit 110 transmits and receives radio signals to and from the UE 200. The radio signal transmitting / receiving unit 110 may include a transmitting unit that transmits radio signals to the UE 200 and a receiving unit that receives radio signals from the UE 200.

[0040] The control unit 120 controls the gNB 100. The control unit 120 controls, for example, the transmission and reception of radio signals by the radio signal transmission and reception unit 110. The control unit 120 also performs scheduling for the UE 200.

[0041] (3) Premise (3.1) CLI With reference to Figure 6, an inter-UE CLI occurring between UE200 and another UE200 will be described. Here, the UE200 that is subject to interference is referred to as UE200A, and the UE200 that is causing the interference is referred to as UE200B. Furthermore, the gNB100 that communicates with UE200A is referred to as gNB100A, and the gNB100 that communicates with UE200B is referred to as gNB100B. Note that Figure 6 also shows the inter-gNB CLI that occurs between gNB100B and gNB100A, but a description of the inter-gNB CLI will be omitted.

[0042] 6 , if a CLI occurs in UE200A that interferes with UL transmission transmitted from UE200B to gNB100B, DL reception from gNB100A may be hindered. Therefore, UE200A measures the CLI occurring between UE200B and UE200B based on the received power of a reference signal received from UE200B (e.g., SRS-RSRP) or the received strength of a signal received from gNB100 (e.g., CLI-RSSI).

[0043] The UE 200A can report the CLI measurement result to the gNB 100A. The CLI measurement result may include not only whether or not a CLI has occurred, but also a measurement value of the received power of a reference signal or the received strength of a received signal. In this case, the gNB 100A may determine whether or not a CLI has occurred.

[0044] (3.2) SBFD and Subbands With reference to Fig. 7, SBFD, a duplexing method used in the wireless communication system 10, will be described. Hereinafter, a slot that can use multiple bands constituting the TDD band is referred to as an SBFD slot. Note that SBFD can be said to be a duplexing method in which multiple bands are defined within the TDD band, or a duplexing method in which UL and DL are allocated non-overlappingly in the frequency direction within a specified time based on TDD.

[0045] As shown in Figure 7, each band constituting an SBFD slot is assigned a DL or UL. Hereinafter, a band to which DL is assigned is referred to as a DL band, and a band to which UL is assigned is referred to as a UL band. In Figure 5, slots or bands marked with "D" are DL slots or DL bands, and slots or bands marked with "U" are UL slots or UL bands.

[0046] In FIG. 7, the band occupied by each slot (non-SBFD slot and SBFD slot in the figure), i.e., the band used for communication, is called a wideband (wideband in the figure). Wideband may also be interpreted as Bandwidth Part (BWP) or active BWP. Furthermore, multiple bands that make up the wideband are called subbands (subbands in the figure). In FIG. 7, the wideband may be interpreted as being composed of four subbands.

[0047] The size of subbands in a wideband is not limited to being uniform, but may be non-uniform. The sizes of the wideband and subbands are expressed, for example, in terms of resource blocks (RBs). RBs may be referred to as physical RBs (PRBs), but will be simply referred to as RBs hereinafter. For example, FIG. 7 may be interpreted as four subbands, each with a uniform size of 8 RBs, representing a wideband with a size of 32 RBs. Furthermore, in the wideband where the control unit 270 of the UE 200 measures the CLI, the subband size or the number of subbands may be determined as the resource for measuring the CLI by the control unit 270 of the UE 200. Specific determination methods will be described in Operation Example 1-2, which will be described later.

[0048] In addition, a subband is sometimes referred to as a frequency resource, and a wideband is sometimes referred to as a resource group because it consists of multiple subbands (i.e., frequency resources as referred to here). However, like a subband, a wideband may also simply be referred to as a frequency resource.

[0049] The frequency resource may be interpreted as the above-mentioned RB or Resource Block Group (RBG), or as a Component Carrier (CC), Subcarrier (SC), or Subcarrier Group (SCG).

[0050] 7, when SBFD is applied, the subband may span the DL band and the UL band. In this case, as will be described in operation example 1-5 later, the control unit 270 of the UE 200 may measure the CLI only in the DL band.

[0051] Although the DL band and UL band in SBFD may be called subbands, in the following they will not be called subbands as a general rule, but will be distinguished from subbands that are components of widebands.

[0052] (4) Operation of wireless communication system (4.1) Issues Conventionally, measurement and reporting of inter-UE CLI was performed on a TDD band (wideband) basis. Specifically, to determine the occurrence of inter-UE CLI, the received power of a reference signal or the received signal strength was measured and reported on a wideband basis.

[0053] However, when the above-mentioned SBFD is applied, there is a risk that the CLI strength may differ between frequency resources (subbands) that make up the wideband and frequency resources that are close to the UL band and frequency resources that are far from the UL band. In such a case, there is a problem that the UE cannot measure the CLI appropriately.

[0054] (4.2) Operational Examples (4.2.1) Operational Example 1 An operational example 1 in which inter-UE CLI measurement / reporting is performed in subband units will be described.

[0055] (4.2.1.1) Operation Example 1-1 Subband-based CLI measurement / reporting may be configured for CLI-RSSI and / or SRS-RSRP measurement / reporting.

[0056] For example, a new parameter (e.g., subbandCliReporting) in SRS-ResourceConfigCLI-r16 and / or RSSI-ResourceConfigCLI-r16, i.e., CLI-ResourceConfig-r16 or in MeasObjectCLI-r16 may be configured to enable subband-based CLI measurement / reporting per SRS-RSRP / CLI-RSSI measurement resource or to enable subband-based CLI measurement / reporting for all configured SRS-RSRP / CLI-RSSI measurement resources.

[0057] (4.2.1.2) Operation Example 1-2: Resources (multiple subbands) for CLI-RSSI and / or SRS-RSRP measurement / reporting may be determined based on the subband size or the number of subbands. In this case, the size of the subbands for CLI-RSSI and / or SRS-RSRP measurement / reporting may be uniform or non-uniform.

[0058] (Option 1) In the case of uniform (Option 1-1) The size of the subband may be determined according to the standard or may be set in units of CLI-RSSI and / or SRS-RSRP measurement resources.

[0059] For example, the standard defines the size of the subbands for CLI measurement / reporting (in units of the measurement frequency resource size and / or in units of SCSs). For example, for a given SCS, if M < M0, the size of the subband is n0, if M0 < M < M1, the size of the subband is n1, ..., if M > M_j, the size of the subband is n_j, where M is the number of RBs configured for the CLI measurement resource (or the number of RBs for the active DL BWP), and M0 / M1 / ... / M_j are defined in the standard.

[0060] For example, a new parameter (eg, Subbandsize) is set in SRS-ResourceConfigCLI-r16 and / or RSSI-ResourceConfigCLI-r16.

[0061] For example, a frequency resource configured for CLI-RSSI and / or SRS-RSRP measurement resources (e.g., assume that nrofPRBs-r16=M consecutive RBs are configured for CLI measurement resources) is divided into multiple subbands, where each subband except the last / first subband includes n RBs (e.g., n is the determined subband size), and the last / first subband includes mod(M / n) RBs.

[0062] (Option 1-2) The number of subbands may be determined according to the standard, may be set per CLI-RSSI and / or SRS-RSRP measurement resource, or may be set for all CLI measurement resources.

[0063] For example, the standard defines the number of subbands in CLI measurement / reporting (per measurement frequency resource size and / or per SCS). For example, for a given SCS, if M < N0, the number of subbands is N0, if N0 < M < N1, the number of subbands is N1, ..., if M > N_j, the number of subbands is N_j. Here, M is the number of RBs configured for CLI measurement resources (or the number of RBs for active DL BWP), and N0 / N1 / ... / N_j are defined in the standard.

[0064] For example, a new parameter (eg, nrofSubband) is set in SRS-ResourceConfigCLI-r16 and / or RSSI-ResourceConfigCLI-r16, i.e., in CLI-ResourceConfig-r16, or in MeasObjectCLI-r16.

[0065] For example, frequency resources configured for CLI-RSSI and / or SRS-RSRP measurement resources (e.g., assume that nrofPRBs-r16=M consecutive RBs are configured for CLI measurement resources) are divided into N subbands (e.g., N is the number of subbands to be determined). In this case, any of the following may be possible: Each subband other than the last / first subband includes ceil(M / N) RBs, and the last / first subband includes mod(M / N) RBs; Each of the first (last) K subbands includes floor(M / N) RBs, and each of the last (first) N K subbands includes ceil(M / N) RBs, where K=mod(M / N).

[0066] (Option 2) Non-uniform Case Example: A set of subband sizes may be configured for each CLI-RSSI and / or SRS-RSRP measurement resource. The number of configured subband sizes determines the number of subbands.

[0067] (4.2.1.3) Operation Example 1-3 When subband-based CLI measurement / reporting is configured for the CLI measurement resource, the bitmap may be configured with each bit indicating whether to report the CLI measurement result on a subband basis among the multiple subbands determined in the above-described Operation Example 1-2, in the configuration unit of the CLI measurement resource.

[0068] For example, bitmap "1101" is set in SRS-ResourceConfigCLI-r16 and / or RSSI-ResourceConfigCLI-r16 to indicate that the UE only reports SRS-RSRP and / or CLI-RSSI measurement results in the first / second / last subband (and does not report SRS-RSRP and / or CLI-RSSI measurement results in the third subband), thereby achieving CLI reporting in non-contiguous subbands.

[0069] (4.2.1.4) Operational Example 1-4 When subband-based CLI measurement / reporting is configured for the CLI measurement resource, the UE measures subband SRS-RSRP or subband CLI-RSSI (for the subbands indicated for CLI reporting when a bitmap such as that of Operational Example 1-3 described above is configured).

[0070] Subband SRS-RSRP refers to the linear average of the power contributions (in watts) of resource elements carrying SRS measured in a configured subband. Subband CLI-RSSI refers to the linear average of the total received power (in watts) observed only in a configured OFDM symbol of a configured measurement time resource in a configured subband. If Layer 3 CLI-RSSI / SRS-RSRP reporting is configured, the measurement results are filtered per subband using a Layer 3 filter.

[0071] (4.2.1.5) Operational Example 1-5 As shown in Figure 7, if a subband overlaps the boundary of the DL band (or overlaps with the UL band and / or guard band), the UE: Alt1: does not expect the subband to be indicated for CLI reporting. Alt2: (If the subband is indicated for CLI reporting) measures CLI only on DL RBs in the subband and reports the measurement results for the subband. Alt3: does not measure / report CLI in the subband. Alt4: does not perform measurements in the subband and reports a specific value for the subband (for example, if not in the above-mentioned operational example 1-3 (if there is no bitmap), the UE simply reports a specific value for all subbands).

[0072] (4.2.2) Operation Example 2 When the event-triggered CLI reporting type is configured and at the same time the subband-based CLI measurement / reporting is configured, the trigger condition needs to be enhanced.

[0073] (Option 1) The UE does not expect simultaneous configuration of event-triggered CLI reporting and subband-based CLI measurement / reporting. For example, if subband-based CLI measurement / reporting is configured for (at least one) CLI-RSSI / SRS-RSRP measurement resource, the UE does not expect reportType to be set to cli-EventTriggered (or expects reportType to be set to cli-Periodical).

[0074] (Option 2) The UE may support reportType being set to cli-EventTriggered and subband-based CLI measurement / reporting being set to CLI-RSSI / SRS-RSRP measurement resource.

[0075] In this case, the trigger condition for reporting the measurement results of a CLI measurement resource may be one of the following: Alt-A: If the measurement results in at least X subbands (X may be defined by the standard or configured by RRC) of the CLI measurement resource satisfy the trigger condition of the corresponding event (e.g., event l1), the CLI measurement resource is considered to satisfy the trigger condition. Alt-B: If the average value of the measurement results in the subbands of the CLI measurement resource satisfy the trigger condition of the corresponding event (e.g., event l1), the CLI measurement resource is considered to satisfy the trigger condition. Alt-C: If the measurement results in all subbands of the CLI measurement resource satisfy the trigger condition of the corresponding event (e.g., event l1), the CLI measurement resource is considered to satisfy the trigger condition.

[0076] Also, once the trigger condition for a subband-based CLI measurement resource is met, the measurement results may be reported as one of the following: Alt1: CLI measurement results for all subbands configured for the CLI measurement resource are reported. Alt2: CLI measurement results for the subbands that meet the trigger condition and the corresponding subband index are reported. Alt3: CLI measurement results for the subband with the strongest CLI are reported and the corresponding subband index.

[0077] (4.2.3) Variations Which of the above-mentioned operation examples is applied may be determined by any of the following: - Configured by higher layer parameters; - Reported by the UE as UE capability; - Described in the standard; - Determined by configuring higher layer parameters and reporting UE capability (a combination of the above two).

[0078] To determine what to report in subband-based CLI measurement / reporting, the following proposals may be used.

[0079] Alt1: Obtain L3 measurement results per configured subband and select the subband to report (subband-wise L1 RSSI → subband-wise L3 filtering → reporting). Alt1-1: Report subband-wise RSSI values for each subband. Alt1-2: Report subband-wise RSSI values for N randomly selected RSSI values, where N is defined by the standard or configured by RRC. [0085] In the above disclosure, the inter-UE CLI may be replaced with the inter-gNB CLI. In this case, the reference signal for measuring the CLI may be, for example, DMRS or CSI-RS, or a synchronization signal block (SSB) may be used instead of the reference signal.

[0086] In the above disclosure, RSRP is measured to measure the inter-UE CLI, but Reference Signal Received Quality (RSRQ) may be measured instead of RSRP. Similarly, Signal to Interference plus Noise Ratio (SINR) may be measured instead of CLI-RSSI.

[0087] In the above disclosure, subband-based CLI measurement / reporting, subband-based CLI measurement / reporting, and subband-specific CLI measurement / reporting may be interchangeable.

[0088] In the above disclosure, the subband size in Fig. 7 is 8 RBs, but is not limited to this. For example, the subband size may be 4, 16, or 32 RBs, similar to the granularity of the CSI report described in 3GPP TS 38.214. Similarly, the wideband size may be any value between 24 and 275 RBs.

[0089] The above-described operation examples may be combined and applied in a composite manner, as long as no contradiction occurs.

[0090] In the above disclosure, configure, activate, update, indicate, enable, specify, and select may be interchangeable. Similarly, link, associate, correspond, and map may be interchangeable, and allocate, assign, monitor, and map may be interchangeable.

[0091] Furthermore, specific, dedicated, UE-specific, and UE-dedicated may be interchangeable. Similarly, common, shared, group-common, UE-common, and UE-shared may be interchangeable.

[0092] The block diagrams (FIGS. 4 and 5) used to explain the above-described embodiments show functional blocks. These functional blocks (components) are realized by any combination of hardware and / or software. Furthermore, the method for realizing each functional block is not particularly limited. That is, each functional block may be realized using a single device that is physically or logically coupled, or may be realized using two or more physically or logically separated devices that are directly or indirectly connected (e.g., wired, wireless, etc.) and these multiple devices. The functional block may be realized by combining software with the single device or multiple devices.

[0093] Functions include, but are not limited to, judgment, determination, judgment, calculation, computation, processing, derivation, investigation, search, confirmation, reception, transmission, output, access, resolution, selection, election, establishment, comparison, assumption, expectation, regard, broadcasting, notifying, communicating, forwarding, configuring, reconfiguring, allocating, mapping, and assignment. For example, a functional block (component) that performs transmission is called a transmitting unit or transmitter. As mentioned above, there are no particular limitations on how each is implemented.

[0094] Furthermore, the above-described gNB100 and UE200 (the devices) may function as a computer that performs processing of the wireless communication method of the present disclosure. Figure 8 is a diagram showing an example of the hardware configuration of the devices. As shown in Figure 8, the devices may be configured as a computer device including a processor 1001, a memory 1002, a storage 1003, a communication device 1004, an input device 1005, an output device 1006, a bus 1007, etc.

[0095] In the following description, the term "apparatus" can be interpreted as a circuit, a device, a unit, etc. The hardware configuration of the apparatus may be configured to include one or more of the apparatuses shown in the drawings, or may be configured to exclude some of the apparatuses.

[0096] Each functional block of the device (FIGS. 4 and 5) is realized by any hardware element of the computer device or a combination of the hardware elements.

[0097] In addition, each function of the device is realized by loading specified software (programs) onto hardware such as processor 1001 and memory 1002, causing processor 1001 to perform calculations, control communication via communication device 1004, and control at least one of reading and writing data in memory 1002 and storage 1003.

[0098] The processor 1001 controls the entire computer by running, for example, an operating system, and may be configured as a central processing unit (CPU) including an interface with peripheral devices, a control unit, an arithmetic unit, and registers.

[0099] The processor 1001 also reads programs (program codes), software modules, data, etc. from at least one of the storage 1003 and the communication device 1004 into the memory 1002 and executes various processes in accordance with these. The programs used are those that cause a computer to execute at least some of the operations described in the above-described embodiments. Furthermore, the various processes described above may be executed by a single processor 1001, or may be executed simultaneously or sequentially by two or more processors 1001. The processor 1001 may be implemented by one or more chips. The programs may be transmitted from a network via a telecommunications line.

[0100] The memory 1002 is a computer-readable recording medium and may be configured by at least one of, for example, a read-only memory (ROM), an erasable programmable ROM (EPROM), an electrically erasable programmable ROM (EEPROM), a random access memory (RAM), etc. The memory 1002 may also be called a register, a cache, a main memory (primary storage device), etc. The memory 1002 may store a program (program code), a software module, etc., capable of executing a method according to an embodiment of the present disclosure.

[0101] Storage 1003 is a computer-readable recording medium, and may be, for example, at least one of an optical disk such as a Compact Disc ROM (CD-ROM), a hard disk drive, a flexible disk, a magneto-optical disk (e.g., a compact disk, a digital versatile disk, a Blu-ray disc), a smart card, a flash memory (e.g., a card, a stick, a key drive), a floppy disk, a magnetic strip, etc. Storage 1003 may also be referred to as an auxiliary storage device. The above-mentioned recording medium may be, for example, a database, a server, or other suitable medium including at least one of memory 1002 and storage 1003.

[0102] The communication device 1004 is hardware (transmission / reception device) for communicating between computers via at least one of a wired network and a wireless network, and is also called, for example, a network device, a network controller, a network card, or a communication module.

[0103] The communication device 1004 may be configured to include a high-frequency switch, a duplexer, a filter, a frequency synthesizer, etc. to realize, for example, at least one of Frequency Division Duplex (FDD) and Time Division Duplex (TDD).

[0104] The input device 1005 is an input device (e.g., a keyboard, a mouse, a microphone, a switch, a button, a sensor, etc.) that receives input from the outside. The output device 1006 is an output device (e.g., a display, a speaker, an LED lamp, etc.) that outputs to the outside. Note that the input device 1005 and the output device 1006 may be integrated into one device (e.g., a touch panel).

[0105] Furthermore, each device such as the processor 1001 and the memory 1002 is connected to a bus 1007 for communicating information. The bus 1007 may be configured using a single bus, or may be configured using different buses between each device.

[0106] Furthermore, the device may be configured to include hardware such as a microprocessor, a digital signal processor (DSP), an application specific integrated circuit (ASIC), a programmable logic device (PLD), or a field programmable gate array (FPGA), and some or all of the functional blocks may be realized by the hardware. For example, the processor 1001 may be implemented using at least one of these pieces of hardware.

[0107] Furthermore, the notification of information is not limited to the aspects / embodiments described in the present disclosure, and may be performed using other methods. For example, the notification of information may be performed by physical layer signaling (e.g., Downlink Control Information (DCI), Uplink Control Information (UCI)), higher layer signaling (e.g., RRC signaling, Medium Access Control (MAC) signaling), broadcast information (Master Information Block (MIB), System Information Block (SIB)), other signals, or a combination thereof. Furthermore, the RRC signaling may be referred to as an RRC message, and may be, for example, an RRC Connection Setup message, an RRC Connection Reconfiguration message, or the like.

[0108] Each aspect / embodiment described in the present disclosure may be applied to at least one of a system using Long Term Evolution (LTE), LTE-Advanced (LTE-A), SUPER 3G, IMT-Advanced, a 4th generation mobile communication system (4G), a 5th generation mobile communication system (5G), Future Radio Access (FRA), New Radio (NR), W-CDMA (registered trademark), GSM (registered trademark), CDMA2000, Ultra Mobile Broadband (UMB), IEEE 802.11 (Wi-Fi (registered trademark)), IEEE 802.16 (WiMAX (registered trademark)), IEEE 802.20, Ultra-WideBand (UWB), Bluetooth (registered trademark), or other suitable system, and a next-generation system enhanced based on these. Furthermore, a combination of multiple systems (e.g., a combination of at least one of LTE and LTE-A and 5G) may also be applied.

[0109] The order of the procedures, sequences, flowcharts, etc. of each aspect / embodiment described in this disclosure may be changed unless it is consistent. For example, the methods described in this disclosure present elements of various steps using an example order, and are not limited to the particular order presented.

[0110] In the present disclosure, a specific operation described as being performed by a base station may be performed by its upper node in some cases. In a network consisting of one or more network nodes having a base station, it is clear that various operations performed for communication with a terminal may be performed by at least one of the base station and another network node other than the base station (for example, an MME or an S-GW, etc., but are not limited to these). Although the above example illustrates a case where there is one other network node other than the base station, a combination of multiple other network nodes (for example, an MME and an S-GW) may also be used.

[0111] Information, signals (information, etc.) may be output from a higher layer (or a lower layer) to a lower layer (or a higher layer), or may be input / output via multiple network nodes.

[0112] The input and output information may be stored in a specific location (for example, a memory) or may be managed using a management table. The input and output information may be overwritten, updated, or added. The output information may be deleted. The input information may be transmitted to another device.

[0113] The determination may be made based on a value represented by one bit (0 or 1), a Boolean value (true or false), or a numerical comparison (e.g., comparison with a predetermined value).

[0114] The aspects / embodiments described in this disclosure may be used alone, in combination, or switched depending on the implementation. Notification of predetermined information (e.g., notification that "X is true") is not limited to explicit notification, but may be implicit (e.g., not notifying the predetermined information).

[0115] Software shall be construed broadly to mean instructions, instruction sets, code, code segments, program code, programs, subprograms, software modules, applications, software applications, software packages, routines, subroutines, objects, executable files, threads of execution, procedures, functions, etc., whether referred to as software, firmware, middleware, microcode, hardware description language, or otherwise.

[0116] Software, instructions, information, etc. may also be transmitted or received over a transmission medium. For example, if software is transmitted from a website, server, or other remote source using wired technologies (such as coaxial cable, fiber optic cable, twisted pair, Digital Subscriber Line (DSL)), and / or wireless technologies (such as infrared, microwave), then these wired and / or wireless technologies are included within the definition of transmission media.

[0117] The information, signals, etc. described in this disclosure may be represented using any of a variety of different technologies. For example, data, instructions, commands, information, signals, bits, symbols, chips, etc. that may be referred to throughout the above description may be represented by voltages, currents, electromagnetic waves, magnetic fields or magnetic particles, optical fields or photons, or any combination thereof.

[0118] Note that terms described in this disclosure and terms necessary for understanding this disclosure may be replaced with terms having the same or similar meanings. For example, at least one of a channel and a symbol may be a signal (signaling). Furthermore, a signal may be a message. Furthermore, a component carrier (CC) may be called a carrier frequency, a cell, a frequency carrier, etc.

[0119] As used in this disclosure, the terms "system" and "network" are used interchangeably.

[0120] Furthermore, the information, parameters, etc. described in the present disclosure may be expressed using absolute values, may be expressed using relative values from a predetermined value, or may be expressed using other corresponding information. For example, a radio resource may be indicated by an index.

[0121] The names used for the above-described parameters are not intended to be limiting in any way. Furthermore, the mathematical expressions using these parameters may differ from those explicitly disclosed in this disclosure. The various channels (e.g., PUCCH, PDCCH, etc.) and information elements may be identified by any suitable names, and therefore the various names assigned to these various channels and information elements are not intended to be limiting in any way.

[0122] In this disclosure, terms such as "base station (BS)," "radio base station," "fixed station," "NodeB," "eNodeB (eNB)," "gNodeB (gNB)," "access point," "transmission point," "reception point," "transmission / reception point," "cell," "sector," "cell group," "carrier," and "component carrier" may be used interchangeably. Base stations may also be referred to by terms such as macrocell, small cell, femtocell, and picocell.

[0123] A base station can accommodate one or more (e.g., three) cells (also called sectors). When a base station accommodates multiple cells, the overall coverage area of the base station can be divided into multiple smaller areas, and each smaller area can be provided with communication services by a base station subsystem (e.g., a small indoor base station (Remote Radio Head: RRH)).

[0124] The terms "cell" or "sector" refer to part or all of the coverage area of a base station and / or base station subsystem that provides communication services within that coverage area.

[0125] In this disclosure, the terms "Mobile Station (MS)," "user terminal," "User Equipment (UE)," "terminal," etc. may be used interchangeably.

[0126] A mobile station may also be referred to by those skilled in the art as a subscriber station, mobile unit, subscriber unit, wireless unit, remote unit, mobile device, wireless device, wireless communication device, remote device, mobile subscriber station, access terminal, mobile terminal, wireless terminal, remote terminal, handset, user agent, mobile client, client, or some other suitable terminology.

[0127] At least one of the base station and the mobile station may be referred to as a transmitting device, a receiving device, a communication device, etc. At least one of the base station and the mobile station may be a device mounted on a mobile object, the mobile object itself, etc. The mobile object may be a vehicle (e.g., a car, an airplane, etc.), an unmanned mobile object (e.g., a drone, an autonomous vehicle, etc.), or a robot (manned or unmanned). At least one of the base station and the mobile station may also include devices that do not necessarily move during communication operations. For example, at least one of the base station and the mobile station may be an Internet of Things (IoT) device such as a sensor.

[0128] Furthermore, a base station in the present disclosure may be read as a mobile station (user terminal, the same applies hereinafter). For example, the aspects / embodiments of the present disclosure may be applied to a configuration in which communication between a base station and a mobile station is replaced with communication between multiple mobile stations (which may be called, for example, Device-to-Device (D2D) or Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X)). In this case, the mobile station may be configured to have the functions of a base station. Furthermore, terms such as "uplink" and "downlink" may be read as terms corresponding to terminal-to-terminal communication (for example, "side"). For example, terms such as an uplink channel and a downlink channel may be read as a side channel.

[0129] Similarly, a mobile station in the present disclosure may be interpreted as a base station, in which case the base station may have the functions of a mobile station.

[0130] A radio frame may be made up of one or more frames in the time domain, each of which may be called a subframe.

[0131] A subframe may further be composed of one or more slots in the time domain, and may have a fixed time length (e.g., 1 ms) that is independent of numerology.

[0132] Numerology may be communication parameters that apply to the transmission and / or reception of a signal or channel, such as subcarrier spacing (SCS), bandwidth, symbol length, cyclic prefix length, transmission time interval (TTI), number of symbols per TTI, radio frame structure, specific filtering operations performed by the transceiver in the frequency domain, and specific windowing operations performed by the transceiver in the time domain.

[0133] A slot may consist of one or more symbols in the time domain (such as Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) symbols, Single Carrier Frequency Division Multiple Access (SC-FDMA) symbols, etc.) A slot may be a time unit based on numerology.

[0134] A slot may include multiple minislots. Each minislot may consist of one or multiple symbols in the time domain. A minislot may also be called a subslot. A minislot may consist of fewer symbols than a slot. A PDSCH (or PUSCH) transmitted in a time unit larger than a minislot may be called PDSCH (or PUSCH) mapping type A. A PDSCH (or PUSCH) transmitted using a minislot may be called PDSCH (or PUSCH) mapping type B.

[0135] The radio frame, subframe, slot, minislot, and symbol all represent time units for transmitting signals, and may be referred to by other names corresponding to the radio frame, subframe, slot, minislot, and symbol.

[0136] For example, one subframe may be referred to as a transmission time interval (TTI), multiple consecutive subframes may be referred to as a TTI, or one slot or one minislot may be referred to as a TTI. That is, at least one of the subframe and the TTI may be a subframe (1 ms) in existing LTE, a period shorter than 1 ms (e.g., 1-13 symbols), or a period longer than 1 ms. Note that the unit representing the TTI may be referred to as a slot, minislot, etc. instead of a subframe.

[0137] Here, TTI refers to, for example, the smallest time unit for scheduling in wireless communication. For example, in an LTE system, a base station schedules each user terminal to allocate radio resources (such as frequency bandwidth and transmission power that can be used by each user terminal) in TTI units. Note that the definition of TTI is not limited to this.

[0138] The TTI may be a transmission time unit for a channel-encoded data packet (transport block), a code block, a code word, etc., or may be a processing unit for scheduling, link adaptation, etc. When a TTI is given, the time interval (e.g., the number of symbols) to which a transport block, a code block, a code word, etc. is actually mapped may be shorter than the TTI.

[0139] In addition, when one slot or one minislot is called a TTI, one or more TTIs (i.e., one or more slots or one or more minislots) may be the minimum time unit for scheduling. Furthermore, the number of slots (minislots) constituting the minimum time unit for scheduling may be controlled.

[0140] A TTI having a time length of 1 ms may be called a regular TTI (TTI in LTE Rel. 8-12), normal TTI, long TTI, regular subframe, normal subframe, long subframe, slot, etc. A TTI shorter than a regular TTI may be called a shortened TTI, short TTI, partial or fractional TTI, shortened subframe, short subframe, minislot, subslot, slot, etc.

[0141] In addition, a long TTI (e.g., a normal TTI, a subframe, etc.) may be interpreted as a TTI having a time length of more than 1 ms, and a short TTI (e.g., a shortened TTI, etc.) may be interpreted as a TTI having a TTI length shorter than the TTI length of a long TTI and equal to or greater than 1 ms.

[0142] A resource block (RB) is a resource allocation unit in the time domain and the frequency domain, and may include one or more consecutive subcarriers in the frequency domain. The number of subcarriers included in an RB may be the same regardless of numerology, for example, 12. The number of subcarriers included in an RB may be determined based on numerology.

[0143] The time domain of an RB may include one or more symbols and may have a length of one slot, one minislot, one subframe, or one TTI. One TTI, one subframe, etc. may each be composed of one or more resource blocks.

[0144] Note that one or more RBs may also be called a physical resource block (PRB), a sub-carrier group (SCG), a resource element group (REG), a PRB pair, an RB pair, etc.

[0145] Furthermore, a resource block may be composed of one or more resource elements (REs). For example, one RE may be a radio resource region of one subcarrier and one symbol.

[0146] A Bandwidth Part (BWP) (which may also be referred to as a fractional bandwidth) may represent a subset of contiguous common resource blocks (RBs) for a given numerology on a given carrier, where the common RBs may be identified by their index relative to a common reference point of the carrier. PRBs may be defined in a given BWP and numbered within that BWP.

[0147] The BWP may include a BWP for UL (UL BWP) and a BWP for DL (DL BWP). One or more BWPs may be configured for a UE within one carrier.

[0148] At least one of the configured BWPs may be active, and the UE may not expect to transmit or receive a given signal / channel outside the active BWP. Note that the terms "cell," "carrier," etc. in this disclosure may be read as "BWP."

[0149] The above-described structures of radio frames, subframes, slots, minislots, symbols, etc. are merely examples. For example, the number of subframes included in a radio frame, the number of slots per subframe or radio frame, the number of minislots included in a slot, the number of symbols and RBs included in a slot or minislot, the number of subcarriers included in an RB, the number of symbols in a TTI, the symbol length, the cyclic prefix (CP) length, etc. may be variously changed.

[0150] The terms "connected," "coupled," or any variation thereof, refer to any direct or indirect connection or coupling between two or more elements, and may include the presence of one or more intermediate elements between two elements that are "connected" or "coupled" to each other. The coupling or connection between elements may be physical, logical, or a combination thereof. For example, "connected" may be read as "access." As used in this disclosure, two elements may be considered to be "connected" or "coupled" to each other using one or more wires, cables, and / or printed electrical connections, as well as electromagnetic energy having wavelengths in the radio frequency range, microwave range, and optical (both visible and invisible) range, as some non-limiting and non-exhaustive examples.

[0151] The reference signal may also be abbreviated as Reference Signal (RS) and may be called a pilot depending on the applicable standard.

[0152] As used in this disclosure, the phrase "based on" does not mean "based only on," unless expressly stated otherwise. In other words, the phrase "based on" means both "based only on" and "based at least on."

[0153] The "means" in the configuration of each of the above devices may be replaced with "part," "circuit," "device," etc.

[0154] As used in this disclosure, any reference to an element using a designation such as "first," "second," etc. does not generally limit the quantity or order of those elements. These designations may be used in this disclosure as a convenient method of distinguishing between two or more elements. Thus, a reference to a first and a second element does not imply that only two elements may be employed therein or that the first element must precede the second element in some way.

[0155] When the terms "include," "including," and variations thereof are used in this disclosure, these terms are intended to be inclusive, similar to the term "comprising." Furthermore, when the term "or" is used in this disclosure, it is not intended to be an exclusive or.

[0156] In this disclosure, where articles are added by translation, such as a, an, and the in English, the disclosure may include that the nouns following these articles are in the plural form.

[0157] As used in this disclosure, the terms "determining" and "determining" may encompass a wide variety of actions. "Determining" and "determining" may include, for example, judging, calculating, computing, processing, deriving, investigating, looking up, searching, inquiring (e.g., searching a table, database, or other data structure), ascertaining, and the like. "Determining" and "determining" may also include receiving (e.g., receiving information), transmitting (e.g., sending information), input, output, accessing (e.g., accessing data in memory), and the like, all of which are considered to be "determining." "Determining" and "determining" may also include resolving, selecting, choosing, establishing, comparing, and the like, all of which are considered to be "determining." In other words, "judgment" and "decision" can include regarding some action as having been "judged" or "decided." Also, "judgment (decision)" can be interpreted as "assuming," "expecting," "considering," etc.

[0158] In the present disclosure, the term "A and B are different" may mean "A and B are different from each other." The term may also mean "A and B are each different from C." Terms such as "separate" and "coupled" may also be interpreted in the same way as "different."

The driving assistance system unit 2030 also transmits and receives various information via the communication module 2013 to realize driving assistance functions or autonomous driving functions.

[0166] The communication module 2013 can communicate with the microprocessor 2031 and components of the vehicle 1 via the communication port. For example, the communication module 2013 transmits and receives data via the communication port 2033 to and from a driving unit 2002, a steering unit 2003, an accelerator pedal 2004, a brake pedal 2005, a shift lever 2006, left and right front wheels 2007, left and right rear wheels 2008, an axle 2009, a microprocessor 2031 and memory (ROM, RAM) 2032 in the electronic control unit 2010, and sensors 2021 to 2028, which are provided in the vehicle 2001.
