Description

Box assembly, clothing processing equipment, box assembly manufacturing equipment and method

[0001] This application claims priority to the Chinese patent application filed with the China Patent Office on August 17, 2023, with application number 202311041045.9, the entire contents of which are incorporated by reference into this application. Technical Field

[0044] Example 1

[0045] As shown in Figure 1, this embodiment provides a clothing processing device, including an inner drum, an outer drum and a cabinet assembly. The cabinet assembly is placed on a mounting surface 100, and the mounting surface 100 is exemplified as the floor of a bathroom, a balcony or a laundry room. The cabinet assembly includes a cabinet shell 1, the outer drum is arranged in the cabinet shell 1, and the inner drum is rotatably arranged in the outer drum. Clothes to be processed are placed inside the inner drum, and the front side panel of the cabinet assembly is provided with a clothing loading port communicated with the inner drum. Taking a drum washing machine as an example of a clothing processing device, when the inner drum of the drum washing machine rotates, it realizes the washing and drying of clothes, and during this process, the rotation of the inner drum will cause noise and vibration. In other embodiments, the clothing processing device can also be a dryer, a washing and drying machine, a clothing care machine, and the like.

[0046] The bottom wall of the box shell 1 is provided with an opening 11 (as shown in FIG2 ), which causes the noise generated during the operation of the clothing processing device to leak out through the gap between the bottom opening 11 and the bottom wall of the box and the mounting surface 100 , causing greater noise pollution to the surrounding environment.

[0047] To address the above issues, this embodiment provides a box assembly comprising a flexible support structure 2 disposed on a box housing 1 (see Figures 6 and 7 ). Referring to Figure 2 , the bottom wall of the box housing 1 forms a support area 12 around the periphery of the opening 11 , and the flexible support structure 2 fills the gap between the support area 12 and the mounting surface 100 .

[0048] The box assembly is provided with a flexible support structure 2 that can fill the gap between the bottom wall of the box shell 1 and the mounting surface 100. On the one hand, it can block the noise leaking through the bottom of the clothing processing device, achieve good sound insulation effect, and purify the surrounding environment of the clothing processing device; on the other hand, the flexible support structure 2 can alleviate the vibration generated during the operation of the clothing processing device, play a good vibration reduction and buffering role, and improve the safety of the use of the clothing processing device; on the third hand, the provision of the flexible support structure 2 can increase the contact area between the bottom of the box shell 1 and the mounting surface 100, improve the placement stability of the box assembly on the mounting surface 100, avoid the box assembly from shifting when the clothing processing device vibrates violently, and enhance the user experience.

[0049] Referring to Figures 1 and 2, support legs 13 are provided on the support area 12, and the bottom of the support legs 13 is configured to support the mounting surface 100. The provision of the support legs 13 creates a gap of a certain height between the support area 12 and the mounting surface 100. If no sound insulation measures are taken, noise will leak out through the opening 11 and this gap. In this embodiment, the flexible support structure 2 includes a plurality of support bodies 21, which are provided within the support area 12 and surround the periphery of the opening 11. That is, the support bodies 21 are provided on the periphery of the opening 11, ensuring that each position on the periphery of the opening 11 can be soundproofed, effectively preventing noise from overflowing.

[0050] In one embodiment, the box assembly has an overall rectangular parallelepiped structure. Referring to FIG2 , the bottom wall of the box housing 1 is rectangular, and the opening 11 on the bottom wall is rectangular. The resulting support area 12 includes a first area, a second area, a third area, and a fourth area, which are sequentially connected end to end to form a rectangle. The first, second, third, and fourth areas are each provided with the aforementioned support bodies 21. Support legs 13 are provided at the intersections between any two of the four areas, i.e., a support leg 13 is provided at each of the four corners of the bottom wall of the box housing 1.

[0051] As a first feasible solution, referring to FIG3 , the upper and lower surfaces of the support body 21 are planar. The upper surface of the support body 21 is connected to the support area 12, and the lower surface of the support body 21 abuts against the mounting surface 100. The planar upper and lower surfaces of the support body 21 provide sufficient contact area with the support area 12 and the mounting surface 100, providing greater stability after installation.

[0052] As a second feasible solution, referring to FIG6 , a vibration isolation groove is recessed in the upper surface of the support body 21, and a first vibration isolation cavity 22 is formed between the groove wall and the support area 12. The provision of the first vibration isolation cavity 22 can increase the elasticity of the support body 21, improve the vibration reduction effect, and furthermore, provide a certain sound insulation effect.

[0053] In one embodiment, referring again to FIG6 , a first elastic body 23 is disposed within the first vibration isolation cavity 22. The first elastic body 23 is supported between the support region 12 and the inner wall of the vibration isolation groove. During operation of the drum washing machine, pressure applied to the support body 21 compresses the first elastic body 23. While ensuring sufficient support capacity for the support body 21, the first elastic body 23 also exhibits good elastic properties, capable of absorbing relatively large vibrations. Multiple first elastic bodies 23 may be provided, exemplarily comprising at least one of an elastic column and a spring, exemplarily a rubber column.

[0054] Alternatively, the first vibration isolation cavity 22 is filled with a plurality of first vibration isolation balls. The first vibration isolation balls are flexible balls. When the support body 21 is subjected to pressure, the plurality of first vibration isolation balls automatically adjust their positions in the first vibration isolation cavity 22 according to the pressure, thereby reducing the transmission of vibration energy. While ensuring that the support body 21 has sufficient supporting capacity, the plurality of first vibration isolation balls also have good elastic properties. The first vibration isolation balls are illustratively made of rubber material. Alternatively, the first elastic body 23 and the first vibration isolation balls can be used in combination.

[0055] As a third feasible solution, as shown in Figure 7, a second vibration isolation cavity 24 is provided inside the support body 21. The provision of the second vibration isolation cavity 24 can increase the elasticity of the support body 21 and improve the vibration reduction effect. In addition, the second vibration isolation cavity 24 can provide a certain sound insulation effect.

[0056] In one embodiment, referring again to FIG. 7 , a second elastic body 25 is disposed within the second vibration isolation cavity 24. The second elastic body 25 is supported between the upper and lower walls of the second vibration isolation cavity 24. During operation of the drum washing machine, pressure applied to the support body 21 compresses the second elastic body 25. While ensuring sufficient support for the support body 21, the second elastic body 25 also exhibits good elastic properties, capable of absorbing relatively large vibrations. Multiple second elastic bodies 25 may be provided, illustratively comprising at least one of elastic columns and springs, illustratively comprising rubber columns.

[0057] Alternatively, the second vibration isolation cavity 24 is filled with a plurality of second vibration isolation balls. The second vibration isolation balls are flexible balls. When the support body 21 is under pressure, the plurality of second vibration isolation balls automatically adjust their positions in the first vibration isolation cavity 22 according to the pressure, thereby reducing the transmission of vibration energy. While ensuring that the support body 21 has sufficient supporting capacity, the plurality of second vibration isolation balls also have good elastic properties. The second vibration isolation balls are illustratively made of rubber material. Alternatively, the second elastomer 25 and the second vibration isolation balls can be used in combination.

[0058] When the height of the support legs 13 is relatively high and there is a relatively large gap between the support area 12 and the mounting surface 100 , the embodiments shown in FIG. 6 and FIG. 7 may be adopted.

[0059] In an optional embodiment, the support body 21 is made of sound-absorbing material, such as sound-absorbing sponge, sound-absorbing rubber, etc., which can absorb a large amount of noise and enhance the noise reduction effect of the flexible support structure 2.

[0060] Specifically, with respect to the first embodiment in FIG3 , the support body 21 is made of sound-absorbing sponge. Referring to FIG4 , the support body 21 is formed by splicing a plurality of sponge strips 211 arranged side by side. The material is convenient to obtain and easy to make. The plurality of sponge strips 211 can be bonded together using double-sided tape or liquid glue (solidified after drying). The spliced sponge strips 211 are also bonded to the support area 12 using double-sided tape or liquid glue. The process of bonding the sponge strips 211 to each other and bonding them to the support area 12 after splicing can be performed manually. Alternatively, the support body 21 can also be formed by cutting a whole piece of sponge sheet, which is bonded to the support area 12 using double-sided tape or liquid glue after cutting. The process of cutting the sponge sheet and bonding it to the support area 12 can be performed manually.

[0061] Specifically, with respect to the second and third embodiments in FIG. 6 and FIG. 7 , the support body 21 can be made of a sound-absorbing rubber plate. The sound-absorbing rubber plate has a certain supporting strength and elastic vibration-absorbing capacity. While supporting the bottom of the box shell 1, it also has good vibration reduction, noise reduction, and sound insulation effects.

[0062] In another alternative embodiment, a sound-absorbing layer is provided on the support body 21, which can also achieve a sound-absorbing and noise-reducing effect. For example, in the embodiments shown in Figures 6 and 7 , a sound-absorbing layer (such as soundproofing felt) is coated around the periphery of the support body 21, or a sound-absorbing layer is formed around the periphery of the support body 21 by applying a sound-absorbing coating.

[0063] The support body 21 in the embodiments shown in FIG. 6 and FIG. 7 can also be bonded to the support area 12 by double-sided adhesive or liquid adhesive.

[0064] In one embodiment, the material of the support body 21 is mixed with rodent- and insect-proof drugs, for example, the rodent- and insect-proof drugs are mixed into the support body 21 when the support body 21 is manufactured; or, a drug groove for embedding the rodent- and insect-proof drugs is provided on the support body 21, for example, after the support body 21 is manufactured, the rodent- and insect-proof drugs are placed in the drug groove, which can effectively prevent rodents and insects from gnawing on the support body 21 and damaging it, thereby preventing rodents and insects from entering the interior of the washing machine through the gap between the support area 12 and the mounting surface 100 and the opening 11, thereby preventing rodents and insects from gnawing on the pipes and lines inside the washing machine.

[0065] In one embodiment, the support body 21 is provided with ventilation holes 212 running through it from top to bottom. The ventilation holes 212 play the role of heat dissipation and ventilation, thereby preventing the drum washing machine from overheating during operation and improving the operating safety of the washing machine.

[0066] In one embodiment, using the embodiment shown in FIG3 as an example, the support body 21 is a single, continuous sponge sheet, as shown in FIG5 , with ventilation holes 212 provided in both the transverse and longitudinal directions. The transverse and longitudinal ventilation holes 212 may or may not be connected. The ventilation holes 212 provided in both directions ensure good heat dissipation and ventilation at every location on the bottom of the housing 1. The number and distribution of ventilation holes 212 can be customized as needed in other embodiments, and are not limited herein.

[0067] In one embodiment, a flexible sleeve is provided over the support leg 13 to prevent rigid contact between the support leg 13 and the mounting surface 100, further enhancing vibration and noise reduction. The flexible sleeve is exemplified by a rubber sleeve, which not only has excellent vibration and sound absorption properties but also provides high friction with the mounting surface 100, thereby improving the stability of the box assembly on the mounting surface 100.
