The entire contents of the above applications are incorporated by reference into this application. Technical Field

[0002] The present application relates to the field of battery technology, and in particular to a CCS component and a battery module. Background Art

[0003] In power batteries, the CCS assembly electrically connects the battery to the battery to transmit electrical signals to the BMS. During installation, the CCS assembly is mounted on top of the battery, parallel to the battery's arrangement. The CCS assembly typically includes a plastic bracket, FPC, temperature and voltage sensors, a connector bar, and an electrical connector. This connector transmits information to the BMS to monitor the battery's status.

[0004] In the related art, since the CCS assembly is arranged along the arrangement direction of multiple columns of batteries, when installing the connector, the plastic bracket needs to extend outward by a certain length to support the installation of the connector, which increases the length of the entire CCS assembly, occupies space in the battery module, and reduces the energy density and space utilization of the battery module. Technical issues

[0005] This application aims to solve the following technical problem: how to reduce the space occupied by the CCS component in the battery module, so that the battery module can be equipped with more battery cells, improve space utilization, and ensure the energy density of the battery module. Technical Solutions

[0006] In the first aspect, the present application provides a CCS component, which is applied to a battery module, wherein the battery module includes multiple columns of battery cells, and the CCS component is arranged on top of the multiple columns of battery cells, and the arrangement direction of the battery cells is arranged along a first direction, and the multiple columns of battery cells are staggered along a second direction. The CCS component includes: a support structure, which is arranged on top of the multiple columns of battery cells; a guide structure, which is connected to the support structure, and includes an input row, an output row and a connecting row, and the input row and the output row are arranged at opposite ends of the multiple columns of battery cells along the second direction, and are electrically connected to one column of battery cells respectively. The connecting row is provided between the input row and the output row, and is used to be electrically connected to the battery cells to realize series and parallel connection of multiple columns of the battery cells; two FPCs are respectively connected to the supporting structure and are provided on opposite sides of the multiple columns of the battery cells along the first direction, each of the FPCs extends along the second direction and is respectively electrically connected to the connecting row; two connectors are provided on opposite sides of the multiple columns of the battery cells along the first direction, are respectively electrically connected to one of the FPCs, and are correspondingly provided at one end of one column of the battery cells having a notch relative to the adjacent column of the battery cells.

[0007] In a second aspect, the present application provides a battery module comprising the CCS assembly described above. Beneficial effects

[0008] When arranged on the top of the battery cells, since the battery cells in each column of battery cells are arranged along the first direction X, and the multiple columns of battery cells are staggered along the second direction Y, at the end of each of the two adjacent columns of battery cells along the first direction X, there is a gap between the battery cells in one column and the battery cells in the other adjacent column. When setting up the CCS assembly, the connector is arranged at the end of the column where the battery cells are located along the first direction X, and the connector can be installed in the gap formed by a certain column of battery cells, thereby fully utilizing the space of the gap of the battery cells. Therefore, the support frame does not need to protrude along the arrangement direction of the multiple columns of battery cells, and the connector does not need to occupy more space along the arrangement direction of the multiple columns of battery cells, that is, it does not need to protrude from the battery cells along the second direction Y, thereby ensuring the length of the entire CCS assembly. When applied to the battery module, it does not occupy too much space in the battery module, and more battery cells can be arranged, thereby improving space utilization and ensuring the energy density of the battery module. [0031] The present application will be further described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings.

[0032] Referring to Figures 1 to 11 , a CCS assembly 100 provided in an embodiment of the present application includes a support structure 10, a flow-guiding structure 20, two FPCs 30, and two connectors 40. When the CCS assembly 100 is applied to a battery module 200, the battery module 200 includes multiple rows of battery cells 300. The CCS assembly 100 is positioned on top of the multiple rows of battery cells 300. The battery cells 300 are arranged along a first direction X, and the multiple rows of battery cells 300 are staggered along a second direction Y. Specifically, the battery cells in this embodiment are cylindrical.

[0033] 1 to 4 , the support structure 10 is provided on top of the multiple columns of battery cells 300; the guide structure 20 is connected to the support structure 10 and includes an input row 21, an output row 22, and a connecting row 23. The input row 21 and the output row 22 are provided at opposite ends of the multiple columns of battery cells 300 along the second direction Y, and are respectively used to electrically connect to one column of battery cells 300. The connecting row 23 is provided between the input row 21 and the output row 22, and is used to electrically connect to the battery cells 300 to achieve series and parallel connection of the multiple columns of battery cells 300. Two FPCs 30, The FPCs 30 are connected to the support structure 10 and are disposed on opposite sides of the multiple rows of battery cells 300 along the first direction X. Each FPC 30 extends along the second direction Y and is electrically connected to the connection bar 23. The two connectors 40 are disposed on opposite sides of the multiple rows of battery cells 300 along the first direction X. Each FPC 30 is electrically connected to an FPC 30 and is disposed at an end of one row of battery cells 300 that has a notch relative to an adjacent row of battery cells 300.

[0034] When the CCS assembly 100 is arranged on top of the battery cells 300, since the battery cells 300 in each column of battery cells 300 are arranged along the first direction X, and the multiple columns of battery cells 300 are staggered along the second direction Y, at the end of each adjacent column of battery cells 300 along the first direction X, there is a gap 231 between the battery cells 300 in one column and the battery cells 300 in the other adjacent column. When the CCS assembly 100 is arranged, the connector 40 is arranged at the end of the column of battery cells 300 along the first direction X, and the connector 40 can be installed on a certain column of battery cells 300. The space in the notch 231 of the battery cell 300 is fully utilized. Therefore, the support frame 12 does not need to protrude along the arrangement direction of the multiple columns of battery cells 300, and the connector 40 does not need to occupy more space along the arrangement direction of the multiple columns of battery cells 300, that is, there is no need to protrude the battery cell 200 along the second direction Y, thereby ensuring the length of the entire CCS assembly 100. When applied to the battery module 200, it does not occupy too much space in the battery module 200, and more battery cells 300 can be arranged, thereby improving space utilization and ensuring the energy density of the battery module 200.

[0035] Referring to Figures 5 and 6 , in one embodiment of the present application, to facilitate the molding of the support structure 10, the support structure 10 includes a hot pressing film 11 and two separately arranged support frames 12. The two support frames 12 are arranged on opposite sides of the multiple columns of battery cells 300 along the first direction X, and the hot pressing film 11 is connected between the two support frames 12. In this way, by configuring the support structure 10 to include the separate support frames 12 and the hot pressing film 11, the following beneficial effects are achieved:

[0036] (1) When the support structure 10 is set, the two support frames 12 can be clamped on opposite sides of the multiple rows of battery cells 300 along the first direction X, which facilitates positioning and installation of the battery cells 300. This avoids the problem of interference between the assembly of the CCS assembly 100 and the battery cells 300 caused by excessive positioning of the plastic frame and the battery cells 300 when the stacking of the battery cells 300 has a tolerance and the manufacturing of an integral plastic frame has a tolerance, thereby improving the assembly efficiency of the CCS assembly 100 and the battery cells 300 and improving the product yield.

[0037] (2) When the battery cell 300 expands during use, the hot pressing film 11 can absorb the expansion due to its certain softness;

[0038] (3) Providing two separate support frames 12 can facilitate the demoulding of each support frame 12, and reduces the production cost of the support frame 12 compared to the method of using an integral plastic frame.

[0039] Specifically, in order to enable the two support frames 12 to have a better clamping effect on the battery cells 300, when setting the support frame 12, a plurality of first avoidance openings 121 are provided on the side of the support frame 12 facing the battery cells 300, and the shape of the first avoidance openings 121 is adapted to the shape of the battery cells 300 so that the support frame 12 can fit the surface of the battery cells 300. In this way, by setting the first avoidance openings 121 on the support frame 12, when the support frame 12 is set on the side of the battery cells 300 along the first direction X, the support frame 12 can fit on the side of the battery cells 300 along the axial direction of the battery cells 300, and the support frames 12 on both sides clamp the staggered battery cells 300 on both sides along the first direction X, so that when the entire CCS assembly 100 is installed on the top of the battery cells 300, the first avoidance openings 121 play a role in positioning the battery cells 300, thereby facilitating the installation of the CCS assembly 100 and the battery cells 300.

[0040] It can be understood that since the battery cells 300 are arranged in an interlaced manner along the second direction Y, for the convenience of description, two adjacent columns of battery cells 300 are selected for description, and these two adjacent columns of battery cells 300 are defined as the first battery cell column 220 and the second battery cell column 230. As shown in Figures 1 to 3, along one end of the first direction X, the first battery cell column 220 protrudes from the second battery cell column 230, and the second battery cell column 230 has a notch 231 relative to the first battery cell column 220. When the support frame 12 is arranged along the first direction X, it has a first avoidance opening 121 corresponding to the protruding first battery cell column 220. In this way, it can be installed and adapted with the interlaced battery cells 300 so as to be clamped on opposite sides of multiple battery cells 300.

[0041] Specifically, the support frame 12 of this embodiment is a composite material of PC+ABS. The composite material of PC+ABS has excellent heat and weather resistance, dimensional stability, and impact resistance, and can therefore be used in the support structure 10 of the CCS assembly 100 .

[0042] Wherein, please refer to Figure 5. When setting the hot pressing film 11, in order to ensure the insulation protection effect of the FPC30 and the guide structure 20 when the support structure 10 is installed with the FPC30 and the guide structure 20, and to ensure the support strength of the entire support structure 10, the hot pressing film 11 includes an upper film 111 and a lower film 112. The FPC30 is arranged between the upper film 111 and the lower film 112, and the guide structure 20 can be exposed relative to the upper film 111 and the lower film 112, so as to provide insulation support and protection for the FPC30 and the guide structure 20 through the upper film 111 and the lower film 112, thereby ensuring the structural strength of the entire hot pressing film 11.

[0043] Specifically, the upper film 111 and the lower film 112 in this embodiment are both PC films. In other embodiments, the upper film 111 and the lower film 112 may be PET films.

[0044] When the guide structure 20 is exposed from between the upper film 111 and the lower film 112 , the upper film 111 and the lower film 112 are provided with corresponding shaped holes 113 , so that the portion of the guide structure 20 that needs to be welded and connected to the battery cell 300 is exposed through the shaped holes 113 .

[0045] Further, please refer to Figure 6. When the support frame 12 and the hot pressing film 11 are connected, a hot rivet column 122 is provided on the support frame 12. The support frame 12 and the hot pressing film 11 are both connected to the support frame 12 through the hot rivet column 122. In this way, when the hot pressing film 11 and the support frame 12 are connected, they are first positioned by the hot rivet column 122, and then the support frame 12 and the hot pressing film 11 are connected into one through the hot rivet column 122, that is, the support frame 12 is respectively connected to the upper film 111 and the lower film 112 to form a whole, thereby ensuring the connection stability of the support frame 12 and the upper film 111 and the lower film 112.

[0046] Please refer to Figures 1 to 4 and Figure 7. When connecting the connector 40 to the FPC 30, in order to avoid the connector 40 occupying the top space of the battery cell 300, the connector 40 is connected to the side of the FPC 30 facing the battery cell 300 and is arranged corresponding to the notch 231. In this way, the connector 40 is inverted on one side of the FPC 30, making full use of the space at the end of the battery cell 300 along the first direction X, and can be arranged parallel to the battery cell 300 along the first direction X, avoiding occupying the space along the axial direction of the battery cell 300 when being arranged on the top of the FPC 30, thereby avoiding increasing the height of the CCS assembly 100 when applied to the battery module 200.

[0047] Furthermore, in order to increase the connection strength of the connector 40 when installed on the FPC30, a reinforcement plate 50 is provided between the connector 40 and the FPC30. Specifically, it is a FR-4 grade flame-resistant material and is bonded to the FPC30 so that when connected to the support frame 12, it can be hot-pressed and fixed with the hot rivet column 122 through the reinforcement plate 50.

[0048] Among them, the FPC30 of this embodiment realizes circuit routing through an etching process, the FPC30 is directly welded to the connecting bar 23, and local nickel plating is performed at the welding point between the FPC30 and the connecting bar 23. The voltage transmission electrical signal channel is collected through the FPC30 to connect the low-voltage connector 40 to output the voltage signal through the connector 40.

[0049] Further, please refer to Figures 1 to 4 and Figure 6. In order to rationally utilize the remaining space generated when the battery cells 300 are arranged, the support frame 12 is provided with an installation opening 123 on the side away from the battery cells 300 along the first direction X. The installation opening 123 is provided corresponding to the gap 231 formed by the column where the battery cells 300 are located, and the connector 40 is provided in the installation opening 123. In this way, the staggered remaining space formed when the battery cells 300 are arranged is fully utilized, and the connector 40 is prevented from being installed along the first direction X and protruding from the support frame 12 and occupying space.

[0050] Specifically, when the CCS component 100 of this embodiment is formed, the FPC30 and the guide structure 20 are arranged in parallel between the upper film 111 and the lower film 112, and the FPC30 and the guide structure 20 are hot-pressed into a whole through the upper film 111 and the lower film 112. Through holes for the rivet columns 122 are provided in the FPC30, the upper film 111 and the lower film 112 respectively, and the whole is then riveted to the support frame 12, thereby being installed as a CCS component 100.

[0051] Please refer to Figures 1 to 5 and Figures 8 and 9. In one embodiment of the present application, corresponding to the manner in which the FPC 30 extends in the second direction Y, the connecting row 23 includes a plurality of sub-rows 231 arranged in parallel in sequence along the second direction Y, and each sub-row 231 connects in series every two adjacent battery cells 300 staggered along the second direction Y, and connects in parallel every two adjacent columns of battery cells 300. In this way, the series connection and parallel connection of multiple battery cells 300 are achieved through the multiple sub-rows 231.

[0052] Specifically, referring to Figures 8 to 10, the sub-row 231 includes a main connecting rib 2311 and a plurality of conductive segments 2312. The plurality of conductive segments 2312 are connected to the main connecting rib 2311 in parallel along the first direction X. The main connecting rib 2311 extends in the first direction X and is connected to the positive electrode 310 of the battery cell 300. The conductive segment 2312 is connected to the negative electrode of the battery cell 300. Thus, through the plurality of conductive segments 2312, one end of each conductive segment 2312 away from the main connecting rib 2311 is connected to the negative electrode of the battery cell 300. When the current flows in the series direction, the current flows from the conductive segment 2312 to the main connecting rib 2311. The main connecting rib 2311 is electrically connected to the positive electrode 310 of the battery cell 300, and the current can flow from the positive electrode 310 of a single battery cell 300 to the negative electrode. In this way, the series connection of the multiple battery cells 300 staggered in the second direction Y is realized; because the main connecting rib 2311 extends in the first direction X, the multiple conductive segments 2312 are connected in parallel to the main connecting rib 2311, thereby realizing the parallel connection of the multiple battery cells 300.

[0053] It is understandable that since the conductive segment 2312 needs to connect the positive electrodes 310 of two staggered battery cells 300 in series, the conductive segment 2312 and the main connecting rib 2311 have an acute angle to match the arrangement of the battery cells 300 connected in series.

[0054] In addition, since every three adjacent battery cells 300 need to be connected to two sub-rows 231, the directions of the conductive segments 2312 connected to the negative pole in every two adjacent sub-rows 231 are opposite, that is, the opening between the conductive segment 2312 of one sub-row 231 and the main connecting rib 2311 is facing one end of the first direction X, and the opening between the conductive segment 2312 of the other sub-row 231 and the main connecting rib 2311 is facing the other end of the first direction X, thereby avoiding the situation of incorrect placement when connecting the sub-row 231 and the battery cell 300, and having a fool-proof effect.

[0055] Specifically, since the positive pole of the battery cell 300 is the positive pole 310, the main connecting rib 2311 is connected to the positive pole of the battery cell 300, and the conductive segment 2312 is connected to the negative pole. Specifically, please refer to Figure 11, which is a structural schematic diagram of the battery cell 300. Since the shell 320 of the battery cell 300 is negatively charged, the conductive segment 2312 is electrically connected to the shell 320 of the battery cell 300.

[0056] Among them, since the conductive segment 2312 in this embodiment has a certain length and elastic properties, when the sub-row 231 and the shell 320 of the battery cell 300 are welded and connected, the conductive segment 2312 is directly pressed downward in the direction of the shell 320 to connect the conductive segment 2312 and the shell 320, thereby avoiding the process of bending the conductive segment 2312 to form a height difference in order to adapt to the height difference between the positive and negative poles of the battery cell 300, thereby improving product yield and reducing production costs.

[0057] Among them, since the conductive segment 2312 is connected to the negative pole of the battery cell 300, it is necessary to avoid the positive pole 310 of the battery cell 300. In order to enable the conductive segment 2312 to have a larger connection area with the negatively charged shell 220, a second avoidance opening 2314 is provided on the conductive segment 2312. The second avoidance opening 2314 is arranged in an arc shape to avoid the positive pole, so that the conductive segment 2312 can be more in contact and welded with the negatively charged shell 220, thereby ensuring the connection stability between the conductive segment 2312 and the negative pole.

[0058] The sub-bank 231 of this embodiment is an aluminum bank, and uses AL1060 O-state aluminum. This material has excellent conductivity, ductility, and stability, and thus can stably conduct current between the battery cells 300.

[0059] Furthermore, in order to protect the battery module 200 during use, a fuse protection structure is provided on the conductive segment 2312, wherein the fuse protection structure includes at least one current limiting hole 2313 opened on the conductive segment 2312. One or more current limiting holes 2313 can be set according to actual needs. Through the setting of the current limiting holes 2313, the conductive area of the conductive segment 2312 in the current flow direction is reduced. When the current in the circuit is too large, that is, when the circuit is overloaded, the conductive segment 2312 can be disconnected at high temperature to protect the circuit, thereby improving the safety performance of the entire battery module 200.

[0060] Please refer to Figure 4 and Figures 8 to 10. In one embodiment of the present application, in order to facilitate the welding connection between the connecting bar 23 and the FPC30, a protruding section 2315 is provided at at least one end of the main connecting rib 2311 along the first direction X, and the protruding section 2315 is used to connect with the FPC30, that is, the protruding section 2315 corresponding to the notch 231 formed in the battery cell 300 is connected to the FPC30. In this way, when connecting the FPC30 and the sub-bar 231, nickel is directly plated on the FPC30, and the welding connection is performed through the nickel-plated point and the protruding section 2315 of the main connecting rib 2311. Compared with the prior art, a nickel sheet needs to be welded on the aluminum bar, and the nickel sheet is then welded to the FPC30. This improves the connection efficiency of the FPC30 and the sub-bar 231, and facilitates the welding operation of the FPC30 and the sub-bar 231.

[0061] Furthermore, during voltage acquisition, since only one end of the main connecting rib 2311 needs to be soldered to the FPC 30, to reduce the production cost of the sub-row 231, both ends of the main connecting rib 2311 along the first direction X are provided with protruding sections 2315. One protruding section 2315 is used to connect to one FPC 30, and the other FPC 30 is provided with a third avoidance opening 31 corresponding to the other section 2315. Thus, during the production of the sub-rows 231, the same mold can be used to obtain substrates of the same length extending along the first direction X, which are then molded into the specific structure of the sub-row 231, facilitating the production of the entire sub-row 231. Thus, during voltage acquisition, the third notch 231 is provided on the FPC 30 to avoid one protruding section 2315, thereby achieving connection between the FPC 30 and the sub-row 231. During voltage acquisition, voltage information is transmitted to the FPC 30 via the protruding section 2315 connected to the FPC 30.

[0062] It can be understood that the third notch 231 on the FPC 30 is arranged to correspond to the first avoidance opening 121 on the support frame 12 .

[0063] Wherein, referring to Figures 1 to 5, the input bus 21 of this embodiment has an input pole 211, and the output bus 22 has an output pole 221. The input pole 211 and the output pole 221 are both used to connect to an external circuit. The input bus 21 is connected to a column of battery cells 300 arranged along the second direction Y and located at one end, and one of the battery cells 300 in the column is a current input end. The output pole 221 is connected to a column of battery cells 300 arranged along the second direction Y and located at the other end, and a battery cell 300 in the column opposite to the battery cell 300 at the input end and located at the end is an output end, so as to realize current conduction and be able to transmit the voltage condition of the battery cell 300 to the BMS system through the connector 40.

[0064] It can be understood that when the input bus 21 is connected to the positive electrodes 310 of a column of battery cells 300 located at one end in the second direction Y, the output bus 22 is connected to the shells 320 of the battery cells 300 .

[0065] In a second embodiment, the present application further provides a battery module 200 , comprising the aforementioned CCS assembly 100 and a plurality of battery cells 300 .

[0066] The CCS is arranged on top of the multiple battery cells 300 and is connected to the battery cells 300. When the current is discharged, it is input from the input pole 211 and transmitted to a battery cell 300 at the input end. The current is then conducted from the battery cell 300 to the sub-row 231. The sub-row 231 then conducts between the battery cells 300, achieving series connection between the battery cells 300. The input row 21 and the output row 22 achieve parallel connection between multiple battery cells 300. Finally, the current is conducted from the battery cell 300 at the output end to the output pole 221, achieving current conduction. During charging, the current flows in the opposite direction.
