Description

Curved battery and electronic device including same The present disclosure relates to a curved battery capable of maintaining a banding shape and an electronic device including the same. An electronic device may refer to a device that performs a specified function according to a loaded program, such as an augmented reality (AR) device, a virtual reality (VR) device, an eMixed reality (MR) device, an extended reality (XR) device, a smartphone, a tablet PC (personal computer), a wearable electronic device, a smart watch, a home appliance, an electronic notebook, a portable multimedia player, a mobile communication terminal, a tablet PC, an audio / video device, a desktop / laptop computer, or a vehicle navigation system. Such an electronic device may include a battery (e.g., a secondary battery) for operation. Secondary batteries, unlike primary batteries that cannot be recharged, are batteries that can be recharged and discharged repeatedly, and their use is increasing because they are economical and environmentally friendly. Recently, the types and shapes of electronic devices that use secondary batteries have diversified, and the shape of the battery must also be changed to match the shape of the electronic device. The above is provided solely as background information to aid in understanding the embodiments of the present disclosure. No determination has been made, and no claim is made, as to whether any of the above constitutes prior art in connection with the present disclosure. Electronic devices having a curved shape (e.g., smart ring, smart band) can be applied with a battery that is bent to fit the shape of the internal space (e.g., curved battery). The curved battery has a characteristic of tending to restore (e.g., straighten out) to its original plate shape over time due to the restoring force of the first electrode plate (e.g., positive electrode plate, positive electrode layer, positive electrode film), the second electrode plate (e.g., negative electrode plate, negative electrode layer, negative electrode film), and the separator (e.g., separator plate, separator layer). One embodiment of the present disclosure can provide a curved (non-planar, non-planar, arched or bent) battery capable of maintaining a banded (non-planar, non-planar, arched or bent) shape and an electronic device including the same. The technical tasks to be achieved in this document are not limited to the technical tasks mentioned above, and other technical tasks not mentioned can be clearly understood by a person having ordinary knowledge in the technical field to which this document belongs from the description below. A curved (non-planar, non-planar, arched or bent) battery according to one embodiment of the present disclosure may include a battery cell having a curved (non-planar, non-planar, arched or bent) cross-section, and a housing disposed around the periphery of the battery cell. The battery cell may include a positive electrode plate, a negative electrode plate, a separator disposed between the positive electrode plate and the negative electrode plate, a first electrode tab electrically connected to at least a portion of the positive plate, and a second electrode tab electrically connected to at least a portion of the negative electrode plate. The positive electrode plate, the negative electrode plate, and the separator may be disposed in a wound manner (e.g., wound or bent together in a configuration or arrangement that is wound or bent in a spiral cross-section including a plurality of turns or layers). At least one of the first electrode tab and the second electrode tab may be disposed to correspond to a length of the battery cell. An electronic device according to one embodiment of the present disclosure may include a flexible display, a display driver IC (integrated circuit) for driving the flexible display, a processor for controlling an operation of the display driver IC, a memory operatively connected to the processor, and a battery for supplying power to the display driver IC and the processor. The battery may include a battery cell having a shape having a curved cross-section (non-planar, non-planar, arched, or bent shape), and a housing disposed on an outer surface of the battery cell. The battery cell may include a positive electrode plate, a negative electrode plate, a separator disposed between the positive electrode plate and the negative electrode plate, a first electrode tab electrically connected to at least a portion of the positive electrode plate, and a second electrode tab electrically connected to at least a portion of the negative electrode plate. The positive electrode plate, the negative electrode plate, and the separator may be wound and disposed (for example, may be wound or rolled together in a configuration or arrangement that is wound or rolled in a spiral cross-section including a plurality of turns or layers). At least one of the first electrode tab and the second electrode tab can be positioned to correspond to the length of the battery cell. A curved (non-planar, non-planar, arched or bent) battery according to an embodiment of the present disclosure may include a battery cell having a curved (non-planar, non-planar, arched or bent) shape and at least one support member arranged to support the battery cell to maintain the shape. For example, the at least one support member may be arranged to support the battery cell in the shape so as to resist a change in shape that may result from the elasticity of the battery cell causing the battery cell to return to a previous state or shape (e.g., flat, non-curved, flat, straight or unbent shape). In one embodiment, the at least one support member may be an electrode tab electrically connected to a component of the battery cell (e.g., a positive or negative plate of the battery cell). Thus, the support member may have a dual function (supporting the battery cell in a curved shape and providing an electrical connection). For example, the at least one support member may have a curved (non-planar, non-planar, arched or bent) shape corresponding to the shape of the battery cell. At least one of the support members can comprise a ductile material (e.g., metal), and at least a portion of the at least one support member can be work hardened (e.g., by bending). The work hardening portion of at least one of the support members or each of the work hardening portions may include at least one of a notch, groove, hole or perforation arranged to reduce the cross-sectional area of the support member. For example, the battery cell may include a positive plate, a negative plate and a separator arranged between the positive and negative plates. The battery cell may have a configuration or arrangement in which the positive plates, negative plates and separator are wound or rolled together (e.g., about a winding or rolling axis), for example, having a helical cross-section comprising a plurality of turns or layers. The helical cross-section may be curved, arched or bent, and the at least one support member may be arranged to support the battery cell against (i.e., to resist) straightening of the cross-section under forces arising from the elasticity of the battery cell components. The at least one support member may be arranged to extend in a direction perpendicular to the winding or rolling axis or plane, and may be arranged to support the battery cell along at least a portion (e.g., 50% to 100%) of the length of the cross-section of the battery cell. An electronic device according to an embodiment of the present disclosure may include a flexible display, a display driver IC configured to drive the flexible display, a processor configured to control operation of the display driver IC, a memory operatively connected to the processor, and a battery configured to supply power to the display driver IC and the processor. The battery may correspond to any one of the embodiments disclosed in the entire claims. A curved battery according to one embodiment of the present disclosure can maintain a banded shape. According to one embodiment of the present disclosure, a curved battery may be configured such that at least one of the first electrode tab and the second electrode tab is formed to correspond to the length of a battery cell, thereby preventing a bent battery cell from being restored to its original shape (e.g., being straightened) and maintaining the bent shape. According to one embodiment, the display module (160) may be referred to as a stretchable display, an expandable display, or a slide-in / out display. According to one embodiment, the display module (160) may include a display driver IC (DDIC) (e.g., a display driver) for driving the display. According to one embodiment, the DDIC may receive image information including image data or image control signals corresponding to commands for controlling the image data from another component of an electronic device (e.g., the electronic device (101) of FIG. 1) through an interface module. According to one embodiment, the image information may be received from a processor (e.g., processor (120) of FIG. 1) (e.g., main processor (121) of FIG. 1) (e.g., application processor) or an auxiliary processor (e.g., auxiliary processor (123) of FIG. 1) (e.g., graphics processing unit) that operates independently of the functions of the main processor (121). Figure 2 is a drawing showing electronic devices having a curved shape. Referring to FIG. 2, as an example of an electronic device having a curved shape, there is a ring-type electronic device (210) (e.g., a smart ring) (e.g., an electronic device (101) of FIG. 1) or a band-type electronic device (220) (e.g., a smart band) (e.g., an electronic device (101) of FIG. 1). According to one embodiment, the ring type electronic device (210) may have a circular shape as the outer shape (211). The ring type electronic device (210) may include a curved battery (e.g., a curved battery (300) of FIG. 3) that is bent as a battery (e.g., a battery (189) of FIG. 1) disposed therein. According to one embodiment, the band type electronic device (220) may have an outer shape (221) that is oval. The band type electronic device (220) may include a curved battery (e.g., a curved battery (300) of FIG. 3) that is banded as a battery (e.g., a battery (189) of FIG. 1) disposed therein. According to one embodiment, the outer shape (221) of the band type electronic device (220) is not limited to a circle or an oval, and may be formed in various shapes (e.g., a shape including curves and straight lines). FIG. 3 is a perspective view illustrating a curved battery according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. FIG. 4 is an exploded perspective view illustrating a curved battery according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. Referring to FIGS. 3 and 4, a curved battery (300) according to an embodiment of the present disclosure may include a battery cell (301) (e.g., a battery pouch) and a housing (310) (e.g., a case, a pouch). For example, the housing (310) may include a first housing portion (312) and a second housing portion (314). The first housing portion (312) and the second housing portion (314) having a space formed therein may be arranged to be in contact with each other, and the first housing portion (312) and the second housing portion (314) may be sealed. According to one embodiment, the housing (310) may include an internal space, and a battery cell (301) may be arranged in the internal space. The housing (310) may include a curved shape (G1, G2) according to the shape of the outer shape (211) of the electronic device (210). According to one embodiment, the housing (310) may include an internal space having a curved shape (G1, G2) corresponding to the shape (e.g., a curved shape) of the surface (S1, S2) of the battery cell (301) (e.g., a battery pouch). The battery cell (301) may be placed in the internal space of the housing (310), and the battery cell (301) may be sealed by the housing (310). For example, the surface of the battery cell (301) may include a concave first surface (S1) and a convex second surface (S2). For example, after the battery cell (301) is formed in a flat shape, pressure may be applied from the outside to cause the surface of the battery cell (301) to have a concave first surface (S1) and a convex second surface (S2). For example, when the battery cell (301) is formed, it may have a curved shape. For example, the concave first surface (S1) may become the lower surface of the battery cell (301), and the convex second surface (S2) may become the upper surface of the battery cell (301). For example, the first surface (S1) of a concave shape may become the upper surface of the battery cell (301), and the second surface (S2) of a convex shape may become the lower surface of the battery cell (301). According to one embodiment, the battery cell (301) may include a first electrode plate (341) (e.g., a positive electrode plate, a positive electrode layer, a positive electrode film), a second electrode plate (342) (e.g., a negative electrode plate, a negative electrode layer, a negative electrode film), a separator (343) (e.g., a separator, a separator layer), a first electrode tab (320) (e.g., a first electrode lead, a positive electrode tab, a positive electrode lead), and a second electrode tab (330) (e.g., a second electrode lead, a negative electrode tab, a negative electrode lead). For example, the first electrode tab (320) (e.g., first electrode lead, anode tab, anode lead) may include a portion that overlaps with the first electrode plate (341) (e.g., anode plate, anode layer, anode film), as well as a portion that is exposed to the outside of the housing (310). For example, the second electrode tab (330) (e.g., second electrode lead, negative tab, negative lead) may include a portion that overlaps with the second electrode plate (342) (e.g., negative electrode plate, negative electrode layer, negative electrode film), as well as a portion that is exposed to the outside of the housing (310). For example, the first electrode tab (320) (e.g., first electrode lead, positive tab, positive lead) and the second electrode tab (330) (e.g., second electrode lead, negative tab, negative lead) may include a metallic material of a conductive material. According to one embodiment, a separator (343) (e.g., a separator plate, a separating layer) is disposed between a first electrode plate (341) (e.g., a positive electrode plate, a positive electrode layer, a positive electrode film) and a second electrode plate (342) (e.g., a negative electrode plate, a negative electrode layer, a negative electrode film), so as to electrically separate the first electrode plate (341) (e.g., a positive electrode plate, a positive electrode layer, a positive electrode film) and the second electrode plate (342) (e.g., a negative electrode plate, a negative electrode layer, a negative electrode film). For example, the first electrode plate (341) (e.g., anode plate, anode layer, anode film) and the second electrode plate (342) (e.g., cathode plate, cathode layer, cathode film) may be formed with different electrical polarities. According to one embodiment, the battery cell (301) may be wound in a jelly-roll shape after sequentially stacking a first electrode plate (341) (e.g., a positive electrode plate, a positive electrode layer, a positive electrode film), a separator (343) (e.g., a separator, a separator layer), and a second electrode plate (342) (e.g., a negative electrode plate, a negative electrode layer, a negative electrode film). Accordingly, the first electrode plate (341), the second electrode plate (342), and the separator (343) may each initially be in the form of a flexible plate, a flexible layer, or a flexible sheet. The battery cell (301) may be formed by stacking the three component layers together and then winding or wrapping them together about a winding or rolling axis or plane. As a result, the wound or rolled structure of the battery cell (301) may be described as a jelly-roll or Swiss roll shape. For example, the battery cell (301) may have a spiral or coil-shaped cross-section including a plurality of turns, windings, or layers. According to one embodiment, the battery cell (301) may be formed by sequentially and repeatedly stacking a first electrode plate (341) (e.g., a positive electrode plate, a positive electrode layer, a positive electrode film), a separator (343) (e.g., a separator, a separator layer), and a second electrode plate (342) (e.g., a negative electrode plate, a negative electrode layer, a negative electrode film). According to one embodiment, the first electrode plate (341) (e.g., positive electrode plate, positive electrode layer, positive electrode film) may include a first active material portion on which a first active material is applied, and a first uncoated portion on which the first active material is not applied. The first active material portion may be formed, for example, by applying the first active material to a portion of at least one surface of an aluminum plate, and the remaining portion of the aluminum plate on which the first active material is not applied may become the first uncoated portion. For example, the first active material may be a cathode material, such as LiCoO 2 , LiNiO 2 , LiMnO 2 , LiMnO 4 It may include a lithium-containing transition metal oxide or lithium chalcogenide compound, such as . According to one embodiment, the second electrode plate (342) (e.g., negative electrode plate, negative electrode layer, negative electrode film) may include a second active material portion coated with a second active material, and a second non-coated portion on which the second active material is not coated. The second active material portion may be formed, for example, by coating the second active material on at least a portion of one surface of an aluminum plate (or a copper plate), and the remaining portion of the aluminum plate on which the second active material is not coated may become a second non-coated portion. For example, the second active material may be a cathode material and may include a carbon material such as crystalline carbon, amorphous carbon, a carbon composite, carbon fiber, lithium metal or a lithium alloy. According to one embodiment, the separator (343) (e.g., separator plate, separator layer) is made of polyethylene, polypropylene,

[0038] It may be a porous polymer membrane such as a membrane. For example, the separator (343) (e.g., separator plate, separator layer) may be in the form of a woven or nonwoven fabric including polymer fibers. For example, the separator (343) (e.g., separator plate, separator layer) may also include ceramic particles. For example, the separator (343) (e.g., separator plate, separator layer) can be formed as an independent film. For example, a separator (343) (e.g., separator plate, separator layer) can be formed by forming a non-conductive porous layer on a first electrode plate (341) (e.g., anode plate, anode layer, anode film) or a second electrode plate (342) (e.g., cathode plate, cathode layer, cathode film). For example, a separator (343) (e.g., a separator plate, a separator layer) may be formed to electrically separate the first electrode plate (341) (e.g., anode plate, anode layer, anode film) and the second electrode plate (112). According to one embodiment, a first electrode tab (320) (e.g., a first electrode lead, a positive electrode tab, a positive electrode lead) and a second electrode tab (330) (e.g., a second electrode lead, a negative electrode tab, a negative electrode lead) may be arranged in the longitudinal direction of the battery cell (301). For example, at least a portion of the first electrode tab (320) (e.g., first electrode lead, positive electrode tab, positive electrode lead) and the second electrode tab (330) may be exposed to the outside of the housing (310) so that the battery cell (301) can be electrically connected to external electronic components. According to one embodiment, the first electrode tab (320) (e.g., first electrode lead, anode tab, anode lead) may be electrically connected to the first electrode plate (341) (e.g., anode plate, anode layer, anode film). For example, the first electrode tab (320) (e.g., first electrode lead, anode tab, anode lead) may be electrically bonded (e.g., joined) to the first uncoated portion of the first electrode plate (341) (e.g., anode plate, anode layer, anode film) by welding. In one embodiment, the second electrode tab (330) (e.g., second electrode lead, negative tab, negative lead) may be electrically connected to the second electrode plate (342) (e.g., negative plate, negative layer, negative film). For example, the second electrode tab (330) (e.g., second electrode lead, negative tab, negative lead) may be electrically bonded (e.g., joined) to the second uncoated portion of the second electrode plate (342) (e.g., negative plate, negative layer, negative film) by welding. Figure 5 is a drawing of a battery cell before bending. Figure 5 shows a battery cell in its initial configuration, which is flat and generally unbent, with no straight or curved planes, and the layers are wound in a flat winding plane. Figure 6 is a drawing of a battery cell after bending. Referring to FIGS. 3 to 6, during the manufacturing process of a battery cell (301) (e.g., a battery pouch), a battery cell before bending (e.g., a battery cell (301) of FIG. 5) is positioned on a mold (e.g., a jig) having a certain curvature (or a certain shape), and then the battery cell (301) is joined to form a bent battery cell (e.g., a battery cell (301) of FIG. 6). According to one embodiment, based on a cross-section of the battery cell (301) (e.g., cross-section AA' of FIG. 6), the battery cell (301) may include a curved surface. For example, at least a portion of a laminated surface of a first electrode plate (341) (e.g., a positive electrode plate, a positive electrode layer, a positive electrode film), a second electrode plate (342) (e.g., a negative electrode plate, a negative electrode layer, a negative electrode film), and a separator (343) (e.g., a separator plate, a separator layer) may have a shape of a curved surface. According to one embodiment, the radius of curvature (R) of the curve of the battery cell (301) may be 50 mm to 500 mm. Without being limited thereto, the radius of curvature (R) of the curve of the battery cell (301) may be 50 mm or less to suit the shape of the electronic device (e.g., the electronic device (210, 220) of FIG. 2) to which the curved battery (300) is applied. In addition, the radius of curvature (R) of the curve of the battery cell (301) may be 500 mm or more to suit the shape of the electronic device (e.g., the electronic device (210, 220) of FIG. 2) to which the curved battery (300) is applied. According to one embodiment, the banded battery cell (301) has a characteristic of tending to recover (e.g., straighten) to its original plate shape over time due to the restoring force of the first electrode plate (341) (e.g., positive plate, positive layer, positive film), the second electrode plate (342) (e.g., negative plate, negative layer, negative film), and the separator (343) (e.g., separator, separator layer). The restoring force of one or more of these layers may cause the curved structure to be partially straightened or flattened. In one embodiment, the curved battery (300) according to one embodiment of the present disclosure may have at least one of the first electrode tab (320) (e.g., the first electrode lead, the positive electrode tab, the positive electrode lead) and the second electrode tab (330) (e.g., the second electrode lead, the negative electrode tab, the negative electrode lead) arranged to correspond to the length of the battery cell (301) in order to prevent the bending shape of the battery cell (301) from being deformed (e.g., changed). At least one of the first electrode tab (320) and the second electrode tab (330) may be arranged to extend along the length of the battery cell (301). At least one of the first electrode tab (320) and the second electrode tab (330) may be arranged to have a length equal to or greater than the length of the battery cell (301) in a direction generally perpendicular to the winding axis or the winding plane. For example, the first electrode tab (320) (e.g., first electrode lead, anode tab, anode lead) may include a portion that overlaps the first electrode plate (341) (e.g., anode plate, anode layer, anode film), as well as a portion that is disposed outside the housing (310) (e.g., a portion (322) where the first electrode tab (320) of FIG. 3 is disposed outside the housing (310). For example, the second electrode tab (330) (e.g., second electrode lead, negative tab, negative lead) may include a portion that overlaps the second electrode plate (342) (e.g., negative plate, negative electrode layer, negative electrode film), as well as a portion that is disposed outside the housing (310) (e.g., a portion (332) where the second electrode tab (330) of FIG. 3 is disposed outside the housing (310). According to one embodiment, the first electrode tab (320) (e.g., first electrode lead, positive tab, positive lead) may be electrically bonded (e.g., welded) to at least a portion of the first electrode plate (341) (e.g., positive plate, positive electrode layer, positive electrode film). According to one embodiment, the first electrode tab (320) (e.g., first electrode lead, positive electrode tab, positive electrode lead) may be arranged on the uppermost surface of the first electrode plate (341) (e.g., positive electrode plate, positive electrode layer, positive electrode film) to correspond to the length of the battery cell (301). For example, the first electrode tab (320) (e.g., first electrode lead, positive electrode tab, positive electrode lead) may be arranged above or below the uppermost surface of the first electrode plate (341) (e.g., positive electrode plate, positive electrode layer, positive electrode film). According to one embodiment, the first electrode tab (320) (e.g., first electrode lead, positive electrode tab, positive electrode lead) may be arranged on the lowermost surface of the first electrode plate (341) (e.g., positive electrode plate, positive electrode layer, positive electrode film) to correspond to the length of the battery cell (301). For example, the first electrode tab (320) (e.g., first electrode lead, positive electrode tab, positive electrode lead) may be arranged above or below the lowermost surface of the first electrode plate (341) (e.g., positive electrode plate, positive electrode layer, positive electrode film). According to one embodiment, the first electrode tab (320) (e.g., first electrode lead, anode tab, anode lead) may be arranged to correspond from the first side (3411) to the second side (3412) of the uppermost surface (or the lowermost surface) of the first electrode plate (341) (e.g., anode plate, anode layer, anode film). According to one embodiment, a part of the first electrode tab (320) may be arranged to overlap with the first electrode plate (341), and a non-overlapping part (322) of the first electrode plate (341) may be arranged to be exposed to the outside of the housing (310). The location where the first electrode tab (320) is arranged to overlap with the first electrode plate (341) may be electrically bonded (e.g., welded) at at least one point (e.g., a plurality of points (325)). According to one embodiment, a first electrode tab (320) (e.g., first electrode lead, anode tab, anode lead) may be electrically bonded (e.g., welded) to a top surface of a first electrode plate (341) (e.g., anode plate, anode layer, anode film). According to one embodiment, a first electrode tab (320) (e.g., first electrode lead, anode tab, anode lead) may be electrically bonded (e.g., welded) to a lowermost surface of a first electrode plate (341) (e.g., anode plate, anode layer, anode film). In one embodiment, a second electrode tab (330) (e.g., second electrode lead, negative tab, negative lead) may be electrically bonded (e.g., welded) to at least a portion of a second electrode plate (342) (e.g., negative plate, negative electrode layer, negative electrode film). According to one embodiment, a second electrode tab (330) (e.g., second electrode lead, negative tab, negative lead) may be disposed on the uppermost surface of a second electrode plate (342) (e.g., negative plate, negative electrode layer, negative electrode film) at one side of the battery cell (301). According to one embodiment, the second electrode tab (330) (e.g., second electrode lead, negative tab, negative lead) may be arranged on the lowermost surface of the second electrode plate (342) (e.g., negative plate, negative layer, negative film) to correspond to the length of the battery cell (301). For example, the second electrode tab (330) (e.g., second electrode lead, negative tab, negative lead) may be arranged above or below the lowermost surface of the second electrode plate (342) (e.g., negative plate, negative layer, positive film). According to one embodiment, a part of the second electrode tab (330) may be arranged to overlap with the second electrode plate (342), and a part (332) that does not overlap with the second electrode plate (342) may be arranged to be exposed to the outside of the housing (310). The part where the second electrode tab (330) is arranged to overlap with the second electrode plate (342) may be electrically bonded (e.g., welded) at at least one point (e.g., one side portion (305)). In one embodiment, a second electrode tab (330) (e.g., second electrode lead, negative tab, negative lead) may be electrically bonded (e.g., welded) to a top surface of a second electrode plate (342) (e.g., negative plate, negative electrode layer, negative electrode film). In one embodiment, a second electrode tab (330) (e.g., second electrode lead, negative tab, negative lead) may be electrically bonded (e.g., welded) to a lowermost surface of a second electrode plate (342) (e.g., negative plate, negative electrode layer, negative electrode film). Since the first electrode tab (320) (e.g., first electrode lead, positive electrode tab, positive electrode lead) is arranged to correspond to the first side (3411) to the second side (3412) of the uppermost surface (or the lowermost surface) of the first electrode plate (341) (e.g., positive electrode plate, positive electrode layer, positive electrode film), the first electrode tab (320) (e.g., first electrode lead, positive electrode tab, positive electrode lead) can support the battery cell (301). The first electrode tab (320) (e.g., first electrode lead, positive electrode tab, positive electrode lead) can prevent the bent battery cell (301) from being restored to its original shape (e.g., being untied), and maintain the bent shape. In the description referring to FIG. 6, it is described that the first electrode tab (320) (e.g., first electrode lead, positive electrode tab, positive electrode lead) supports the battery cell (301), but this is not limited to this, and the length of the second electrode tab (330) (e.g., second electrode lead, negative electrode tab, negative electrode lead) may be extended to support the battery cell (301). Figure 7 is a drawing showing a battery cell after banding. Referring to FIGS. 3, 4, and 7, during the manufacturing process of a battery cell (301) (e.g., a battery pouch), a battery cell before bending (e.g., a battery cell (301) of FIG. 5) is positioned on a mold (e.g., a jig) having a certain curvature (or certain shape), and then the battery cell (301) is joined to form a bent battery cell (e.g., a battery cell (301) of FIG. 7). In order to prevent deformation (e.g., change) of the banding shape of the battery cell (701) (e.g., battery pouch), the curved battery (300) according to one embodiment of the present disclosure may have the first electrode tab (320) (e.g., first electrode lead, positive electrode tab, positive electrode lead) and the second electrode tab (330) (e.g., second electrode lead, negative electrode tab, negative electrode lead) arranged to correspond to the length of the battery cell (701). According to one embodiment, the first electrode tab (320) (e.g., first electrode lead, anode tab, anode lead) may include a portion that overlaps the first electrode plate (341) (e.g., anode plate, anode layer, anode film), as well as a portion that is disposed outside the housing (310) (e.g., a portion (322) where the first electrode tab (320) of FIG. 3 is disposed outside the housing (310). For example, a part of the first electrode tab (320) may be arranged to overlap with the first electrode plate (341), and a non-overlapping part (322) of the first electrode plate (341) may be arranged to be exposed to the outside of the housing (310). The location where the first electrode tab (320) overlaps with the first electrode plate (341) may be electrically bonded (e.g., welded) at at least one point (e.g., a plurality of points (325)). For example, the second electrode tab (330) (e.g., second electrode lead, negative tab, negative lead) may include a portion that overlaps the second electrode plate (342) (e.g., negative plate, negative electrode layer, negative electrode film), as well as a portion that is disposed outside the housing (310) (e.g., the portion (332) where the second electrode tab (330) of FIG. 3 is disposed outside the housing (310). According to one embodiment, a first electrode tab (320) (e.g., a first electrode lead, anode tab, anode lead) may be electrically bonded (e.g., welded) to at least a portion of a first electrode plate (341) (e.g., anode plate, anode layer, anode film). For example, the first electrode tab (320) (e.g., first electrode lead, positive electrode tab, positive electrode lead) may be placed on the uppermost surface of the first electrode plate (341) (e.g., positive electrode plate, positive electrode layer, positive electrode film) to correspond to the length of the battery cell (701). In one embodiment, the first electrode tab (320) (e.g., first electrode lead, anode tab, anode lead) can be electrically bonded (e.g., welded) to the first electrode plate (341) (e.g., anode plate, anode layer, anode film) at a plurality of points (325). The first electrode tab (320) (e.g., first electrode lead, anode tab, anode lead) can be electrically bonded (e.g., welded) to the top surface of the first electrode plate (341) (e.g., anode plate, anode layer, anode film). According to one embodiment, the first electrode tab (320) (e.g., first electrode lead, positive electrode tab, positive electrode lead) is arranged to correspond from the first side (3411) to the second side (3412) of the uppermost surface (or the lowermost surface) of the first electrode plate (341) (e.g., positive electrode plate, positive electrode layer, positive electrode film), so that the first electrode tab (320) (e.g., first electrode lead, positive electrode tab, positive electrode lead) can support the battery cell (701). The first electrode tab (320) (e.g., first electrode lead, positive electrode tab, positive electrode lead) can prevent the bent battery cell (701) from being restored to its original shape (e.g., being unwound) and maintain the bent shape. The location where the second electrode tab (330) overlaps with the second electrode plate (342) may be electrically bonded (e.g., welded) at at least one point (e.g., a plurality of points (335)). According to one embodiment, the second electrode tab (330) (e.g., second electrode lead, negative tab, negative lead) may be arranged to correspond from the first side (3421) to the second side (3422) of the uppermost surface (or the lowermost surface) of the second electrode plate (342) (e.g., negative plate, negative electrode layer, negative electrode film). In one embodiment, the second electrode tab (330) (e.g., second electrode lead, negative tab, negative lead) can be electrically bonded (e.g., welded) to the second electrode plate (342) (e.g., positive plate, positive layer, positive film) at a plurality of points (335). The second electrode tab (330) (e.g., second electrode lead, negative tab, negative lead) can be electrically bonded (e.g., welded) to the top surface of the second electrode plate (342) (e.g., negative plate, negative layer, negative film). According to one embodiment, based on a cross-section of the battery cell (301) (e.g., cross-section BB' of FIG. 7), the battery cell (301) may include a curved surface. According to one embodiment, the radius of curvature® of the curve of the battery cell (301) may be 50 mm to 500 mm. According to one embodiment, the second electrode tab (330) (e.g., second electrode lead, negative tab, negative lead) is arranged to correspond from the first side (3421) to the second side (3422) of the uppermost surface (or the lowermost surface) of the second electrode plate (342) (e.g., negative plate, negative electrode layer, negative electrode film), so that the second electrode tab (330) (e.g., second electrode lead, negative tab, negative electrode lead) can support the battery cell (701). The second electrode tab (330) (e.g., second electrode lead, negative tab, negative electrode lead) can prevent the bent battery cell (301) from being restored to its original shape (e.g., being unwound) and maintain the bent shape. Figure 8 is a drawing showing a battery cell after banding. In describing the battery cell (801) of Fig. 8, descriptions of configurations identical or similar to the battery cell (301) of Fig. 6 and the battery cell (301) of Fig. 7 may be omitted. Referring to FIG. 8, a curved battery (e.g., curved battery (300) of FIGS. 3 and 4) according to one embodiment of the present disclosure may include a battery cell (801) (e.g., battery pouch) and a housing (310) (e.g., housing (310) of FIGS. 3 and 4) (e.g., case). According to one embodiment, the housing (310) may include an internal space having a curved shape (e.g., G1, G2 of FIG. 4) corresponding to the shape (e.g., curved shape) of the surface (e.g., S1, S2 of FIG. 4) of the battery cell (801). The battery cell (801) may be placed in the internal space of the housing (310), and the battery cell (801) may be sealed by the housing (310). For example, the surface of the battery cell (801) may include a first surface (S1) having a concave shape (e.g., the first surface (S1) of FIG. 4) and a second surface (S2) having a convex shape (e.g., the second surface (S2) of FIG. 4). For example, the first surface (S1) having a concave shape may become a lower surface of the battery cell (801), and the second surface (S2) having a convex shape may become an upper surface of the battery cell (801). For example, the first surface (S1) having a concave shape may become an upper surface of the battery cell (801), and the second surface (S2) having a convex shape may become a lower surface of the battery cell (801). According to one embodiment, the battery cell (801) may include a first electrode plate (841) (e.g., a positive electrode plate, a positive electrode layer, a positive electrode film), a second electrode plate (842) (e.g., the second electrode plate (342) of FIG. 4) (e.g., a negative electrode plate, a negative electrode layer, a negative electrode film), a separator (e.g., the separator (343) of FIG. 4) (e.g., a separator, a separator layer), a first electrode tab (820) (e.g., a first electrode lead, a positive electrode tab, a positive electrode lead), and a second electrode tab (830) (e.g., a second electrode lead, a negative electrode tab, a negative electrode lead). For example, the first electrode tab (820) (e.g., first electrode lead, anode tab, anode lead) may include a portion that overlaps the first electrode plate (841) (e.g., anode plate, anode layer, anode film), as well as a portion that is disposed outside the housing (310) (e.g., a portion (322) where the first electrode tab (320) of FIG. 3 is disposed outside the housing (310). For example, the second electrode tab (830) (e.g., second electrode lead, negative tab, negative lead) may include a portion that overlaps the second electrode plate (842) (e.g., negative plate, negative electrode layer, negative electrode film), as well as a portion that is disposed outside the housing (310) (e.g., the portion (332) where the second electrode tab (330) of FIG. 3 is disposed outside the housing (310). According to one embodiment, the first electrode tab (820) (e.g., first electrode lead, positive tab, positive lead) and the second electrode tab (830) (e.g., second electrode lead, negative tab, negative lead) may include a metallic material of a conductive material. According to one embodiment, a separator (e.g., a separator (343) of FIG. 4) (e.g., a separator plate, a separator layer) is disposed between a first electrode plate (841) (e.g., a positive electrode plate, a positive electrode layer, a positive electrode film) and a second electrode plate (842) (e.g., a negative electrode plate, a negative electrode layer, a negative electrode film), so as to electrically separate the first electrode plate (841) (e.g., a positive electrode plate, a positive electrode layer, a positive electrode film) and the second electrode plate (842) (e.g., a negative electrode plate, a negative electrode layer, a negative electrode film). For example, the first electrode plate (841) (e.g., anode plate, anode layer, anode film) and the second electrode plate (842) (e.g., cathode plate, cathode layer, cathode film) may be formed with electrically different polarities. According to one embodiment, the battery cell (801) may be wound in a jelly-roll shape after sequentially stacking a first electrode plate (841) (e.g., a positive electrode plate, a positive electrode layer, a positive electrode film), a separator (e.g., a separator (343) of FIG. 4) (e.g., a separator plate, a separator layer), and a second electrode plate (842) (e.g., a negative electrode plate, a negative electrode layer, a negative electrode film). According to one embodiment, the battery cell (801) may be formed by sequentially and repeatedly stacking a first electrode plate (841) (e.g., a positive electrode plate, a positive electrode layer, a positive electrode film), a separator (e.g., a separator (343) of FIG. 4) (e.g., a separator plate, a separator layer), and a second electrode plate (842) (e.g., a negative electrode plate, a negative electrode layer, a negative electrode film). For example, a separator (e.g., a separator (343) of FIG. 4) (e.g., a separator plate, a separator layer) can be formed by forming a non-conductive porous layer on a first electrode plate (841) (e.g., a positive electrode plate, a positive electrode layer, a positive electrode film) or a second electrode plate (842) (e.g., a negative electrode plate, a negative electrode layer, a negative electrode film). For example, a separator (e.g., a separator (343) of FIG. 4) (e.g., a separator plate, a separator layer) may be formed to electrically separate the first electrode plate (841) (e.g., anode plate, anode layer, anode film) and the second electrode plate (112). According to one embodiment, a first electrode tab (820) (e.g., a first electrode lead, a positive electrode tab, a positive electrode lead) and a second electrode tab (830) (e.g., a second electrode lead, a negative electrode tab, a negative electrode lead) may be arranged in the longitudinal direction of the battery cell (801). For example, at least a portion of a first electrode tab (820) (e.g., a first electrode lead, a positive electrode tab, a positive electrode lead) (e.g., a portion (322) of the first electrode tab (320) of FIG. 3 where it is disposed outside the housing (310)) may be exposed to the outside of the housing (310) so that the battery cell (801) may be electrically connected to external electronic components. At least a portion of a second electrode tab (830) (e.g., a portion (332) of the second electrode tab (330) of FIG. 3 where it is disposed outside the housing (310)) may be exposed to the outside of the housing (310). According to one embodiment, the first electrode tab (820) (e.g., first electrode lead, anode tab, anode lead) may be positioned above or below the top surface of the first electrode plate (841) (e.g., anode plate, anode layer, anode film). According to one embodiment, the first electrode tab (820) (e.g., first electrode lead, anode tab, anode lead) may be positioned above or below the lowermost surface of the first electrode plate (841) (e.g., anode plate, anode layer, anode film). According to one embodiment, the first electrode tab (820) (e.g., first electrode lead, anode tab, anode lead) may be electrically connected to the first electrode plate (841) (e.g., anode plate, anode layer, anode film). For example, the first electrode tab (820) (e.g., first electrode lead, anode tab, anode lead) may be electrically bonded (e.g., joined) to the first uncoated portion of the first electrode plate (841) (e.g., anode plate, anode layer, anode film) by welding. According to one embodiment, the second electrode tab (830) (e.g., second electrode lead, negative tab, negative lead) may be positioned above or below the top surface of the second electrode plate (842) (e.g., negative plate, negative electrode layer, negative electrode film). According to one embodiment, the second electrode tab (830) (e.g., second electrode lead, negative tab, negative lead) may be positioned above or below the lowermost surface of the second electrode plate (842) (e.g., negative plate, negative electrode layer, negative electrode film). In one embodiment, the second electrode tab (830) (e.g., second electrode lead, negative tab, negative lead) can be electrically connected to the second electrode plate (842) (e.g., negative plate, negative layer, negative film). For example, the second electrode tab (830) (e.g., second electrode lead, negative tab, negative lead) can be electrically bonded (e.g., joined) to the second uncoated portion of the second electrode plate (842) (e.g., negative plate, negative layer, negative film) by welding. During the manufacturing process, the battery cell (801) may be formed by placing a battery cell (e.g., battery cell (301) of FIG. 5) prior to bending on a mold (e.g., jig) having a predetermined slope (or predetermined shape), and then joining the battery cell (801) to form a bent battery cell (e.g., battery cell (801) of FIG. 8). According to one embodiment, based on a cross-section of the battery cell (801) (e.g., CC' cross-section of FIG. 8), the battery cell (801) may include a slope surface. For example, a laminated surface of a first electrode plate (841) (e.g., a positive electrode plate, a positive electrode layer, a positive electrode film), a second electrode plate (842) (e.g., a negative electrode plate, a negative electrode layer, a negative electrode film), and a separator (e.g., a separator (343) of FIG. 4) (e.g., a separator plate, a separator layer) may have a shape of a slope surface. For example, in the longitudinal direction of the battery cell (801), a plurality of sections may be bent (840, 850) at a certain angle to form a plurality of inclined surfaces (851). The banded battery cell (801) has a characteristic of tending to be restored (e.g., to be spread out) to its original plate shape over time due to the restoring force of the first electrode plate (841) (e.g., positive plate, positive layer, positive film), the second electrode plate (842) (e.g., negative plate, negative layer, negative film), and the separator (e.g., the separator (343) of FIG. 4) (e.g., separator, separator layer). According to one embodiment, in order to prevent the bending shape of the battery cell (801) from being deformed (e.g., changed), the curved battery (300) according to one embodiment of the present disclosure may have at least one of the first electrode tab (820) (e.g., the first electrode lead, the positive electrode tab, the positive electrode lead) and the second electrode tab (830) (e.g., the second electrode lead, the negative electrode tab, the negative electrode lead) positioned to correspond to the length of the battery cell (801). According to one embodiment, a first electrode tab (820) (e.g., a first electrode lead, anode tab, anode lead) may be electrically bonded (e.g., welded) to at least a portion of a first electrode plate (841) (e.g., anode plate, anode layer, anode film). For example, the first electrode tab (820) (e.g., first electrode lead, positive electrode tab, positive electrode lead) may be arranged on the uppermost surface of the first electrode plate (841) (e.g., positive electrode plate, positive electrode layer, positive electrode film) to correspond to the length of the battery cell (801). For example, the first electrode tab (820) (e.g., first electrode lead, positive electrode tab, positive electrode lead) may be arranged on the lowermost surface of the first electrode plate (841) (e.g., positive electrode plate, positive electrode layer, positive electrode film) to correspond to the length of the battery cell (801). According to one embodiment, the first electrode tab (820) (e.g., first electrode lead, anode tab, anode lead) may be arranged to correspond from the first side (8411) to the second side (8412) of the uppermost surface (or the lowermost surface) of the first electrode plate (841) (e.g., anode plate, anode layer, anode film). For example, a first electrode tab (820) (e.g., a first electrode lead, an anode tab, an anode lead) may be electrically bonded (e.g., welded) to a first electrode plate (841) (e.g., a cathode plate, an anode layer, an anode film) at a plurality of points (825). For example, a first electrode tab (820) (e.g., a first electrode lead, an anode tab, an anode lead) may be electrically bonded (e.g., welded) to a top surface of a first electrode plate (841) (e.g., a cathode plate, an anode layer, an anode film). For example, a first electrode tab (820) (e.g., a first electrode lead, an anode tab, an anode lead) may be electrically bonded (e.g., welded) to a bottom surface of a first electrode plate (841) (e.g., a cathode plate, an anode layer, an anode film). In one embodiment, a second electrode tab (830) (e.g., second electrode lead, negative tab, negative lead) may be electrically bonded (e.g., welded) to at least a portion of a second electrode plate (842) (e.g., negative plate, negative electrode layer, negative electrode film). For example, the second electrode tab (830) (e.g., second electrode lead, negative tab, negative lead) may be disposed on the uppermost surface of the second electrode plate (842) (e.g., negative plate, negative layer, negative film) at one side of the battery cell (801). For example, the second electrode tab (830) (e.g., second electrode lead, negative tab, negative lead) may be disposed on the lowermost surface of the second electrode plate (842) (e.g., negative plate, negative layer, negative film) at one side of the battery cell (801). For example, the second electrode tab (830) (e.g., second electrode lead, negative tab, negative lead) may be electrically bonded (e.g., welded) to the second electrode plate (842) (e.g., negative plate, negative layer, negative film) at one side (805) of the battery cell (801). For example, the second electrode tab (830) (e.g., second electrode lead, negative tab, negative lead) may be electrically bonded (e.g., welded) to the uppermost surface of the second electrode plate (842) (e.g., negative plate, negative layer, negative film). For example, the second electrode tab (830) (e.g., second electrode lead, negative tab, negative lead) may be electrically bonded (e.g., welded) to the lowermost surface of the second electrode plate (842) (e.g., negative plate, negative layer, negative film). Since the first electrode tab (820) (e.g., first electrode lead, positive electrode tab, positive electrode lead) is arranged to correspond from the first side (8411) to the second side (8412) of the uppermost surface (or the lowermost surface) of the first electrode plate (841) (e.g., positive electrode plate, positive electrode layer, positive electrode film), the first electrode tab (820) (e.g., first electrode lead, positive electrode tab, positive electrode lead) can support the battery cell (801). The first electrode tab (820) (e.g., first electrode lead, positive electrode tab, positive electrode lead) can prevent the bent battery cell (801) from being restored to its original shape (e.g., being unrolled) and maintain the bent shape. In the description referring to FIG. 8, it is described that the first electrode tab (820) (e.g., the first electrode lead, the positive electrode tab, the positive electrode lead) supports the battery cell (801), but this is not limited to this, and the length of the second electrode tab (830) (e.g., the second electrode lead, the negative electrode tab, the negative electrode lead) may be extended to support the battery cell (801). Figure 9 is a drawing showing a battery cell after banding. In describing the battery cell (801) of FIG. 9, descriptions of configurations identical or similar to the battery cell (301) of FIG. 6 and the battery cell (301) of FIG. 7 may be omitted. Referring to FIG. 9, based on a cross-section of a battery cell (801) (e.g., a cross-section along DD' of FIG. 9), the battery cell (801) may include a slope surface. In a curved battery according to an embodiment of the present disclosure (e.g., the curved battery (300) of FIGS. 3 and 4), a first electrode tab (820) (e.g., a first electrode lead, a positive electrode tab, a positive electrode lead) and a second electrode tab (830) (e.g., a second electrode lead, a negative electrode tab, a negative electrode lead) may be arranged to correspond to the length of the battery cell (901) to prevent the bending shape of the battery cell (901) (e.g., a battery pouch) from being deformed (e.g., changed). 3 is disposed outside). For example, the second electrode tab (830) (e.g., second electrode lead, negative tab, negative lead) may include a portion that overlaps with the second electrode plate (842) (e.g., negative plate, negative electrode layer, negative electrode film), as well as a portion that is disposed outside of the housing (e.g., the housing (310) of FIG. 4) (e.g., the portion (332) where the second electrode tab (330) of FIG. 3 is disposed outside). According to one embodiment, a first electrode tab (820) (e.g., a first electrode lead, anode tab, anode lead) may be electrically bonded (e.g., welded) to at least a portion of a first electrode plate (841) (e.g., anode plate, anode layer, anode film). For example, the first electrode tab (820) (e.g., first electrode lead, positive electrode tab, positive electrode lead) may be arranged on the uppermost surface of the first electrode plate (841) (e.g., positive electrode plate, positive electrode layer, positive electrode film) to correspond to the length of the battery cell (901). For example, the first electrode tab (820) (e.g., first electrode lead, positive electrode tab, positive electrode lead) may be arranged on the lowermost surface of the first electrode plate (841) (e.g., positive electrode plate, positive electrode layer, positive electrode film) to correspond to the length of the battery cell (901). Since the first electrode tab (820) (e.g., first electrode lead, positive electrode tab, positive electrode lead) is arranged to correspond from the first side (8411) to the second side (8412) of the uppermost surface (or the lowermost surface) of the first electrode plate (841) (e.g., positive electrode plate, positive electrode layer, positive electrode film), the first electrode tab (820) (e.g., first electrode lead, positive electrode tab, positive electrode lead) can support the battery cell (901). The first electrode tab (820) (e.g., first electrode lead, positive electrode tab, positive electrode lead) can prevent the bent battery cell (901) from being restored to its original shape (e.g., being unwound) and maintain the bent shape. In one embodiment, a second electrode tab (830) (e.g., second electrode lead, negative tab, negative lead) may be electrically bonded (e.g., welded) to at least a portion of a second electrode plate (842) (e.g., negative plate, negative electrode layer, negative electrode film). For example, the second electrode tab (830) (e.g., second electrode lead, negative tab, negative lead) may be arranged on the uppermost surface of the second electrode plate (842) (e.g., negative plate, negative layer, negative film) to correspond to the length of the battery cell (901). For example, the second electrode tab (830) (e.g., second electrode lead, negative tab, negative lead) may be arranged on the lowermost surface of the second electrode plate (842) (e.g., negative plate, negative layer, negative film) to correspond to the length of the battery cell (901). According to one embodiment, the second electrode tab (830) (e.g., second electrode lead, negative tab, negative lead) may be arranged to correspond from the first side (8421) to the second side (8422) of the uppermost surface (or the lowermost surface) of the second electrode plate (842) (e.g., negative plate, negative electrode layer, negative electrode film). For example, the second electrode tab (830) (e.g., second electrode lead, negative tab, negative lead) can be electrically bonded (e.g., welded) to the second electrode plate (842) (e.g., positive plate, positive layer, positive film) at multiple locations (835). The second electrode tab (830) (e.g., second electrode lead, negative tab, negative lead) can be electrically bonded (e.g., welded) to the top surface of the second electrode plate (842) (e.g., negative plate, negative layer, negative film). For example, since the second electrode tab (830) (e.g., the second electrode lead, the negative tab, the negative lead) is arranged to correspond from the first side (8421) to the second side (8422) of the uppermost surface (or the lowermost surface) of the second electrode plate (842) (e.g., the negative plate, the negative layer, the negative film), the second electrode tab (830) (e.g., the second electrode lead, the negative tab, the negative lead) can support the battery cell (901). The second electrode tab (830) (e.g., the second electrode lead, the negative tab, the negative lead) can prevent the bent battery cell (901) from being restored to its original shape (e.g., being unwound) and maintain the bent shape. FIG. 10 is a drawing showing the shape of an electrode tab of a curved battery according to one embodiment of the present disclosure. Referring to FIG. 10, electrode tabs (1000) (e.g., the first electrode tab (320), the second electrode tab (330) of FIGS. 6 and 7, and the first electrode tab (820), the second electrode tab (830) of FIGS. 8 and 9) of a curved battery (e.g., the curved battery (300) of FIGS. 3 and 4) according to an embodiment of the present disclosure may be formed in a bar type that is formed long along the longitudinal direction of a battery cell (e.g., the battery cell (301) of FIG. 6, the battery cell (701) of FIG. 7, the battery cell (801) of FIG. 8, and the battery cell (901) of FIG. 9). Without being limited thereto, the electrode tabs (1000) of the curved battery (e.g., the curved battery (300) of FIGS. 3 and 4) according to one embodiment of the present disclosure may be formed in a bar type including a lattice pattern. FIG. 11 is a drawing showing the shape of an electrode tab of a curved battery according to one embodiment of the present disclosure. Referring to FIG. 11, electrode tabs (1100) (e.g., the first electrode tab (320), the second electrode tab (330) of FIGS. 9). According to one embodiment, the electrode tabs (1100) may include a plurality of holes (1110) and / or notches (1120) so as to be bendable to conform to the bending shape of a battery cell (e.g., battery cell (301) of FIGS. 6 and 7, battery cell (801) of FIGS. 8 and 9). At each of a plurality of locations along the length of the electrode tab (in this example, the locations are evenly spaced), a respective hole (1110) penetrating the tab and a respective pair of notches (1120) on the side of the tab are provided, each notch (1120) extending toward a respective hole (1110). The notches and holes reduce the cross-sectional area of the tab material at each of the plurality of locations. For example, the electrode tabs (1100) may include a plurality of holes (1110) formed at regular intervals. The plurality of holes (1110) may be formed to penetrate the electrode tabs (1100) through the upper and lower surfaces. For example, the electrode tabs (1100) may include a plurality of notches (1120) formed at regular intervals. The plurality of notches (1120) may be formed by removing a portion of a side surface of the electrode tabs (1100). For example, a plurality of notches (1120) may be formed to correspond with a plurality of holes (1110). FIG. 12 is a drawing showing the shape of an electrode tab of a curved battery according to one embodiment of the present disclosure. Referring to FIG. 12, electrode tabs (1200) (e.g., the first electrode tab (320), the second electrode tab (330) of FIGS. 9). According to one embodiment, the electrode tabs (1200) may include a plurality of grooves (1220) so that they can be bent to conform to the bending shape of the battery cell (e.g., battery cell (301) of FIGS. 6 and 7, battery cell (801) of FIGS. 8 and 9). For example, each of the grooves may extend completely across the width of the electrode tab, but in other embodiments may include a groove that extends partially across the width of the electrode tab. Each groove reduces the cross-sectional area of the electrode tab at each location. The reduction in the cross-sectional area of the electrode tab may be performed prior to bending. Subsequently, when bending is performed, the stress at each location corresponding to the groove may be greater than the longitudinal location between the grooves, thereby causing greater deformation of the electrode tab material. The amount of bending (or bending force) along with the material of the electrode tab may be arranged such that the deformation of the tab material at the groove locations exceeds the elastic limit of the tab material and becomes inelastic, thereby work hardening the tab material at the groove locations. This work hardening allows the electrode tab to at least partially maintain its bent shape after the bending force is removed. The bent tab can therefore support the battery cell in that bent shape against the elastic action of other components of the battery cell. For example, a plurality of grooves (1220) may be formed at a predetermined interval on the lower surface of the electrode tabs (1200). Without being limited thereto, a plurality of grooves (1220) may be formed at a predetermined interval on the upper surface of the electrode tabs (1200). For example, a plurality of grooves (1220) can be formed to correspond to the portions (1210) where the electrode tabs (1200) are bent. For example, the electrode tabs (1200) may further include a plurality of notches (e.g., the notches (1120) of FIG. 11) formed at regular intervals. The plurality of notches (1120) may be formed by removing a portion of a side surface of the electrode tabs (1100).
