[0040] Technical features individually described in a single drawing in this specification may be implemented individually or simultaneously.

[0041] In this specification, higher layer parameters may be parameters that are set for the terminal, preset, or predefined. CDMA can be implemented with wireless technologies such as UTRA (universal terrestrial radio access) or CDMA2000. TDMA can be implemented with wireless technologies such as GSM (global system for mobile communications) / GPRS (general packet radio service) / EDGE (enhanced data rates for GSM evolution). OFDMA can be implemented with wireless technologies such as IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) 802.11 (Wi-Fi), IEEE 802.16 (WiMAX), IEEE 802-20, E-UTRA (evolved UTRA), LTE (long term evolution), and 5G NR.

[0044] The technology proposed in this specification can be implemented with 6G wireless technology and applied to various 6G systems. For example, 6G systems can have key factors such as enhanced mobile broadband (eMBB), ultra-reliable low latency communications (URLLC), massive machine-type communication (mMTC), artificial intelligence (AI) integrated communication, tactile internet, high throughput, high network capacity, high energy efficiency, low backhaul and access network congestion, and enhanced data security.

[0045] FIG. 1 illustrates a communication structure that can be provided in a 6G system according to one embodiment of the present disclosure. The embodiment of FIG. 1 can be combined with various embodiments of the present disclosure.

[0046] New network characteristics in 6G may include:

[0047] - Satellite integrated network

[0048] - Connected Intelligence: Unlike previous generations of wireless communication systems, 6G is revolutionary, upgrading the wireless evolution from "connected objects" to "connected intelligence." AI can be applied at every stage of the communication process (or at every signal processing step, as described below).

[0049] - Seamless integration of wireless information and energy transfer

[0050] - Ubiquitous super 3D connectivity: Access to networks and core network functions of drones and very low Earth orbit satellites will create super 3D connectivity in 6G ubiquitous.

[0051] Some general requirements for the new network characteristics of 6G, such as the above, may be as follows:

[0052] - small cell networks

[0053] - Ultra-dense heterogeneous network

[0054] - High-capacity backhaul

[0055] - Radar technology integrated with mobile technology: High-precision localization (or location-based services) through communications is a key feature of 6G wireless communication systems. Therefore, radar systems will be integrated with 6G networks.

[0056] - Softwarization and virtualization

[0057] Below, the core implementation technologies of the 6G system are described.

[0058] - Artificial Intelligence: Incorporating AI into communications can streamline and improve real-time data transmission. AI can use numerous analytics to determine how complex target tasks should be performed. This means AI can increase efficiency and reduce processing delays. Time-consuming tasks such as handovers, network selection, and resource scheduling can be performed instantly using AI. AI can also play a crucial role in machine-to-machine (M2M), machine-to-human, and human-to-machine communications. Furthermore, AI can facilitate rapid communication in brain-computer interfaces (BCIs). AI-based communication systems can be supported by metamaterials, intelligent structures, intelligent networks, intelligent devices, intelligent cognitive radios, self-sustaining wireless networks, and machine learning.

[0059] - THz communication (terahertz communication): Data rates can be increased by increasing the bandwidth. This can be achieved by utilizing sub-THz communication with a wide bandwidth and applying advanced massive MIMO technology. THz waves, also known as sub-millimeter waves, typically refer to the frequency range between 0.1 THz and 10 THz with corresponding wavelengths ranging from 0.03 mm to 3 mm. The 100 GHz to 300 GHz band (Sub-THz band) is considered a major portion of the THz band for cellular communications. Adding the Sub-THz band to the mmWave band will increase the capacity of 6G cellular communications. Among the defined THz bands, 300 GHz to 3 THz lies in the far infrared (IR) frequency band. While part of the optical band, the 300 GHz to 3 THz band lies at the boundary of the optical band, immediately following the RF band. Therefore, this 300 GHz to 3 THz band exhibits similarities to RF. Figure 2 illustrates the electromagnetic spectrum according to one embodiment of the present disclosure. The embodiment of FIG. 2 can be combined with various embodiments of the present disclosure. Key characteristics of THz communications include (i) widely available bandwidth to support very high data rates, and (ii) high path loss at high frequencies (highly directional antennas are essential). The narrow beamwidth generated by the highly directional antenna reduces interference. The small wavelength of THz signals allows for a much larger number of antenna elements to be integrated into devices and base stations operating in this band. This enables the use of advanced adaptive array technologies to overcome range limitations.

[0060] - Large-scale MIMO technology

[0061] - Hologram beamforming (HBF)

[0062] - Optical wireless technology

[0063] - Free-space optical transmission backhaul network (FSO backhaul network)

[0064] - Quantum communication

[0065] - Cell-free communication

[0066] - Integration of wireless information and power transmission

[0067] - Integration of wireless communication and sensing

[0068] - Integrated access and backhaul network

[0069] - Big data analysis

[0070] - Reconfigurable intelligent surface

[0071] - metaverse

[0072] - Blockchain

[0073] Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs): UAVs, or drones, will be a key element in 6G wireless communications. In most cases, high-speed data wireless connectivity can be provided using UAV technology. Base stations (BSs) can be installed on UAVs to provide cellular connectivity. UAVs may offer specific capabilities not found in fixed BS infrastructure, such as easy deployment, robust line-of-sight links, and controlled mobility. During emergencies such as natural disasters, deploying terrestrial communications infrastructure is not economically feasible and sometimes cannot provide services in volatile environments. UAVs can easily handle these situations. UAVs will become a new paradigm in wireless communications. This technology facilitates three fundamental requirements for wireless networks: enhanced mobile broadband (eMBB), URLLC, and mMTC. UAVs can also support various purposes, such as enhancing network connectivity, fire detection, disaster emergency services, security and surveillance, pollution monitoring, parking monitoring, and accident monitoring. Therefore, UAV technology is recognized as one of the most important technologies for 6G communications.

[0074] - Advanced air mobility (AAM): AAM is a higher concept than urban air mobility (UAM), which is an air transportation method available in urban areas, and can refer to a means of transportation that includes movement between regional hubs as well as urban areas.

[0075] - Autonomous driving (self-driving): V2X (vehicle to everything), a key element in building autonomous driving infrastructure, can be a technology that allows cars to communicate and share with various elements on the road for autonomous driving, such as vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) and vehicle-to-infrastructure (V2I) wireless communication. Fast transmission speeds and low-latency technologies are essential to maximize autonomous driving performance and ensure high safety. Furthermore, in the future, autonomous driving will go beyond simply providing warnings or guidance messages to drivers and may require active intervention in vehicle operation and direct control of the vehicle in dangerous situations. To this end, the amount of information that needs to be transmitted and received may become enormous, so 6G is expected to maximize autonomous driving with faster transmission speeds and lower latency than 5G.

[0076] - Non-terrestrial networks (NTN): NTN may refer to a network or network segment that uses radio frequency (RF) resources mounted on a satellite (or unmanned aerial system (UAS) platform). FIG. 3 illustrates an example of a typical NTN scenario based on a transparent payload according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. FIG. 4 illustrates an example of a typical NTN scenario based on a regenerative payload according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. The embodiments of FIG. 3 or FIG. 4 may be combined with various embodiments of the present disclosure. Referring to FIG. 3, a satellite (or UAS platform) may create a service link with a UE. The satellite (or UAS platform) may be connected to a gateway via a feeder link. The satellite may be connected to a data network via the gateway. A beam footprint may refer to an area where a signal transmitted by a satellite can be received. Referring to Figure 4, a satellite (or UAS platform) can establish a service link with a UE. A satellite (or UAS platform) connected to a UE can be connected to another satellite (or UAS platform) via an inter-satellite link (ISL). The other satellite (or UAS platform) can be connected to a gateway via a feeder link. Based on the playback payload, a satellite can be connected to a data network through another satellite and the gateway. If an ISL does not exist between a satellite and another satellite, a feeder link between the satellite and the gateway may be required. Figures 3 and 4 are merely examples of NTN scenarios, and NTN can be implemented based on various scenarios. For example, a satellite (or UAS platform) may implement a transparent or regenerative (with onboard processing) payload. For example, a satellite (or UAS platform) may generate multiple beams over a designated service area depending on the field of view of the satellite (or UAS platform). For example, the field of view of the satellite (or UAS platform) may vary depending on the onboard antenna diagram and minimum elevation angle. For example, a transparent payload may include radio frequency filtering, frequency conversion, and amplification. Therefore, the waveform signal repeated by the payload may not be altered. For example, a regenerative payload may include radio frequency filtering, frequency conversion and amplification, demodulation / decoding, switching and / or routing, and coding / modulation. For example, a regenerative payload may be substantially equivalent to equipping the satellite (or UAS platform) with all or part of the base station functionality.

[0077] - Integrated Sensing and Communication (ISAC): Wireless sensing is a technology that uses radio frequencies to determine the instantaneous linear velocity, angle, distance (range), etc. of an object, thereby obtaining information about the characteristics of the environment and / or objects within the environment. Because radio frequency sensing does not require a device to connect to the object through a network, it can provide a service for object positioning without a device. The ability to obtain range, velocity, and angle information from radio frequency signals can enable a wide range of new capabilities, such as various object detection, object recognition (e.g., vehicles, humans, animals, UAVs), and high-precision localization, tracking, and activity recognition. Wireless sensing services can provide information to a variety of industries (e.g., drones, smart homes, V2X, factories, railways, public safety, etc.), enabling applications such as intruder detection, assisted vehicle steering and navigation, trajectory tracking, collision avoidance, traffic management, and health and traffic management. In some cases, wireless sensing can utilize non-3GPP type sensors (e.g., radar, cameras) to further support 3GPP-based sensing. For example, the operation of a wireless sensing service, i.e., a sensing operation, may depend on the transmission, reflection, and scattering of wireless sensing signals. Therefore, wireless sensing may provide an opportunity to enhance existing communication systems from a communication network to a wireless communication and sensing network. FIG. 5 illustrates an example of a sensing operation according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. The embodiment of FIG. 5 may be combined with various embodiments of the present disclosure. Specifically, FIG. 5 (a) illustrates an example of sensing using a sensing receiver and a sensing transmitter located at the same location (e.g., monostatic sensing), and FIG. 5 (b) illustrates an example of sensing using a separated sensing receiver and a sensing transmitter (e.g., bistatic sensing).

[0078] The layers of the radio interface protocol between the terminal and the network can be divided into L1 (layer 1), L2 (layer 2), and L3 (layer 3) based on the three lower layers of the Open System Interconnection (OSI) standard model, which is widely known in communication systems. Among these, the physical layer belonging to layer 1 provides an information transfer service using a physical channel, and the RRC (Radio Resource Control) layer located in layer 3 controls radio resources between the terminal and the network. To this end, the RRC layer exchanges RRC messages between the terminal and the base station.

[0079] The physical layer provides information transmission services to higher layers using physical channels. The physical layer is connected to the upper layer, the Medium Access Control (MAC) layer, via a transport channel. Data travels between the MAC layer and the physical layer through the transport channel. Transport channels are classified based on how and with what characteristics data is transmitted over the wireless interface.

[0080] Data travels between different physical layers, i.e., between the physical layers of a transmitter and a receiver, via a physical channel. This physical channel can be modulated using Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) and utilizes time and frequency as radio resources.

[0081] The MAC layer provides services to the upper layer, the radio link control (RLC) layer, through logical channels. The MAC layer provides mapping from multiple logical channels to multiple transport channels. Furthermore, the MAC layer provides logical channel multiplexing, which maps multiple logical channels to a single transport channel. The MAC sublayer provides data transmission services on logical channels.

[0082] The RLC layer performs the concatenation, segmentation, and reassembly of RLC Service Data Units (SDUs). To guarantee the various Quality of Service (QoS) required by radio bearers (RBs), the RLC layer provides three operating modes: Transparent Mode (TM), Unacknowledged Mode (UM), and Acknowledged Mode (AM). AM RLC provides error correction through automatic repeat request (ARQ).

[0083] The RRC (Radio Resource Control) layer is defined only in the control plane. The RRC layer is responsible for controlling logical channels, transport channels, and physical channels, related to the configuration, reconfiguration, and release of radio bearers. RB refers to a logical path provided by Layer 1 (physical layer or PHY layer) and Layer 2 (MAC layer, RLC layer, Packet Data Convergence Protocol (PDCP) layer, and Service Data Adaptation Protocol (SDAP) layer) for data transmission between the terminal and the network.

[0084] The functions of the PDCP layer in the user plane include the transmission of user data, header compression, and ciphering. The functions of the PDCP layer in the control plane include the transmission of control plane data and encryption / integrity protection.

[0085] The Service Data Adaptation Protocol (SDAP) layer is defined only in the user plane. It performs mapping between QoS flows and data radio bearers, marking QoS flow identifiers (IDs) within downlink and uplink packets, and more.

[0086] Establishing a Radio Bearer (RB) refers to the process of defining the characteristics of the radio protocol layer and channel to provide a specific service, and setting specific parameters and operating methods for each. RBs can be further divided into two types: the Signaling Radio Bearer (SRB) and the Data Radio Bearer (DRB). The SRB is used as a channel to transmit RRC messages in the control plane, while the DRB is used as a channel to transmit user data in the user plane.

[0087] When an RRC connection is established between the RRC layer of the terminal and the RRC layer of the base station, the terminal is in the RRC_CONNECTED state. Otherwise, it is in the RRC_IDLE state. For NR, the RRC_INACTIVE state is additionally defined, and a terminal in the RRC_INACTIVE state can maintain a connection with the core network while releasing the connection with the base station.

[0088] Downlink transmission channels that transmit data from the network to the terminal include the Broadcast Channel (BCH), which transmits system information, and the downlink Shared Channel (SCH), which transmits user traffic or control messages. Traffic or control messages for downlink multicast or broadcast services may be transmitted through the downlink SCH or a separate downlink Multicast Channel (MCH). Meanwhile, uplink transmission channels that transmit data from the terminal to the network include the Random Access Channel (RACH), which transmits initial control messages, and the uplink Shared Channel (SCH), which transmits user traffic or control messages.

[0089] Logical channels that are located above the transport channel and are mapped to the transport channel include the Broadcast Control Channel (BCCH), Paging Control Channel (PCCH), Common Control Channel (CCCH), Multicast Control Channel (MCCH), and Multicast Traffic Channel (MTCH).

[0090] Radio frames can be used for uplink and downlink transmission. A radio frame has a length of 10 ms and can be defined as two 5 ms half-frames (HF). A half-frame can contain five 1 ms subframes (SF). A subframe can be divided into one or more slots, and the number of slots within a subframe can be determined by the subcarrier spacing (SCS). Each slot can contain 12 or 14 OFDM (A) symbols, depending on the cyclic prefix (CP).

[0091] When normal CP is used, each slot can contain 14 symbols. When extended CP is used, each slot can contain 12 symbols. Here, the symbols can include OFDM symbols (or CP-OFDM symbols), SC-FDMA (Single Carrier - FDMA) symbols (or DFT-s-OFDM (Discrete Fourier Transform-spread-OFDM) symbols).

[0092] Table 2 below shows the number of symbols per slot (N) depending on the SCS setting (u) when normal CP or extended CP is used. slot symb ), number of slots per frame (N frame,u slot ) and the number of slots per subframe (N subframe,u slot ) is an example.

[0094] FIG. 6 illustrates a slot structure of a frame according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. The embodiment of FIG. 6 can be combined with various embodiments of the present disclosure.

[0095] Referring to FIG. 6, a slot includes multiple symbols in the time domain.

[0096] A carrier includes multiple subcarriers in the frequency domain. An RB (Resource Block) can be defined as multiple (e.g., 12) consecutive subcarriers in the frequency domain. A BWP (Bandwidth Part) can be defined as multiple consecutive (P)RBs ((Physical) Resource Blocks) in the frequency domain, and can correspond to one numerology (e.g., SCS, CP length, etc.). A carrier can include up to N (e.g., 5) BWPs. Data communication can be performed through activated BWPs. Each element can be referred to as a Resource Element (RE) in the resource grid, and one complex symbol can be mapped to it.

[0097] A Bandwidth Part (BWP) can be a contiguous set of physical resource blocks (PRBs) for a given numerology. A PRB can be selected from a contiguous subset of common resource blocks (CRBs) for a given numerology on a given carrier.

[0098] FIG. 7 illustrates an example of a BWP according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. The embodiment of FIG. 7 can be combined with various embodiments of the present disclosure. In the embodiment of FIG. 7, it is assumed that there are three BWPs.

[0099] Referring to Figure 7, a common resource block (CRB) may be a carrier resource block numbered from one end of a carrier band to the other. Furthermore, a PRB may be a numbered resource block within each BWP. Point A may indicate a common reference point for the resource block grid.

[0100] BWP is point A, offset from point A (N startBWP ) and bandwidth (N size BWP ) can be set by. For example, point A can be an outer reference point of the PRB of a carrier where subcarrier 0 of all numerologies (e.g., all numerologies supported by the network on that carrier) aligns. For example, the offset can be the PRB spacing between the lowest subcarrier in a given numerology and point A. For example, the bandwidth can be the number of PRBs in a given numerology.

[0101] SLSS (Sidelink Synchronization Signal) is a SL (sidelink) specific sequence and may include PSSS (Primary Sidelink Synchronization Signal) and SSSS (Secondary Sidelink Synchronization Signal). The PSSS may be referred to as S-PSS (Sidelink Primary Synchronization Signal) and the SSSS may be referred to as S-SSS (Sidelink Secondary Synchronization Signal). For example, length-127 M-sequences may be used for S-PSS and length-127 Gold sequences may be used for S-SSS. For example, a terminal may detect an initial signal (signal detection) and obtain synchronization using S-PSS. For example, the terminal can obtain detailed synchronization using S-PSS and S-SSS and detect a synchronization signal ID.

[0102] PSBCH (Physical Sidelink Broadcast Channel) may be a (broadcast) channel that transmits basic (system) information that a terminal must know first before transmitting or receiving an SL signal. For example, the basic information may be information related to SLSS, duplex mode (DM), TDD UL / DL (Time Division Duplex Uplink / Downlink) configuration, resource pool-related information, type of application related to SLSS, subframe offset, broadcast information, etc. For example, in order to evaluate PSBCH performance, in NR V2X, the payload size of PSBCH may be 56 bits, including a 24-bit CRC (Cyclic Redundancy Check).

[0103] S-PSS, S-SSS and PSBCH may be included in a block format supporting periodic transmission (e.g., SL SS (Synchronization Signal) / PSBCH block, hereinafter referred to as S-SSB (Sidelink-Synchronization Signal Block)). The S-SSB may have the same numerology (i.e., SCS and CP length) as the PSCCH (Physical Sidelink Control Channel) / PSSCH (Physical Sidelink Shared Channel) in the carrier, and the transmission bandwidth may be within a (pre-)configured SL BWP (Sidelink BWP). For example, the bandwidth of the S-SSB may be 11 RBs (Resource Blocks). For example, the PSBCH may span 11 RBs. And, the frequency location of the S-SSB may be (pre-)configured. Therefore, the terminal does not need to perform hypothesis detection in the frequency to discover the S-SSB in the carrier.

[0104] In this specification, PSCCH may be replaced by a control channel, a physical control channel, a sidelink-related control channel, a sidelink-related physical control channel, etc. In this specification, PSSCH may be replaced by a shared channel, a physical shared channel, a sidelink-related shared channel, a sidelink-related physical shared channel, etc.

[0105] FIG. 8 illustrates a procedure for a terminal to perform V2X or SL communication according to a resource allocation mode, according to one embodiment of the present disclosure. The embodiment of FIG. 8 may be combined with various embodiments of the present disclosure.

[0106] Referring to (a) of FIG. 8, in resource allocation mode 1, the base station may schedule SL resources to be used by the terminal for SL transmission. For example, in step S800, the base station may transmit information related to SL resources and / or information related to UL resources to the first terminal. For example, the UL resources may include PUCCH resources and / or PUSCH resources. For example, the UL resources may be resources for reporting SL HARQ feedback to the base station.

[0107] For example, a first terminal may receive information related to a dynamic grant (DG) resource and / or information related to a configured grant (CG) resource from a base station. For example, a CG resource may include a CG type 1 resource or a CG type 2 resource. In this specification, a DG resource may be a resource that a base station configures / allocates to the first terminal via downlink control information (DCI). In this specification, a CG resource may be a (periodic) resource that a base station configures / allocates to the first terminal via DCI and / or an RRC message. For example, in the case of a CG type 1 resource, the base station may transmit an RRC message including information related to the CG resource to the first terminal. For example, in the case of a CG type 2 resource, the base station may transmit an RRC message including information related to the CG resource to the first terminal, and the base station may transmit a DCI related to activation or release of the CG resource to the first terminal.

[0108] In step S810, the first terminal may transmit a PSCCH (e.g., Sidelink Control Information (SCI) or 1st-stage SCI) to the second terminal based on the resource scheduling. In step S820, the first terminal may transmit a PSSCH (e.g., 2nd-stage SCI, MAC PDU, data, etc.) related to the PSCCH to the second terminal. In step S830, the first terminal may receive a PSFCH related to the PSCCH / PSSCH from the second terminal. For example, HARQ feedback information (e.g., NACK information or ACK information) may be received from the second terminal via the PSFCH. In step S840, the first terminal may transmit / report HARQ feedback information to the base station via a PUCCH or a PUSCH. For example, the HARQ feedback information reported to the base station may be information generated by the first terminal based on the HARQ feedback information received from the second terminal. For example, the HARQ feedback information reported to the base station may be information generated by the first terminal based on a rule set in advance. For example, the DCI may be DCI for scheduling SL.

[0109] Referring to (b) of FIG. 8, in resource allocation mode 2, the terminal can determine SL transmission resources within SL resources set by the base station / network or preset SL resources. For example, the set SL resources or preset SL resources may be a resource pool. For example, the terminal can autonomously select or schedule resources for SL transmission. For example, the terminal can perform SL communication by selecting resources by itself within the set resource pool. For example, the terminal can select resources by itself within a selection window by performing sensing and resource (re)selection procedures. For example, the sensing can be performed on a subchannel basis. For example, in step S810, the first terminal that has selected resources by itself within the resource pool transmits PSCCH (e.g., SCI (Sidelink Control Information) or 1) using the resources. st -stage SCI) can be transmitted to the second terminal. In step S820, the first terminal transmits the PSSCH (e.g., 2) related to the PSCCH. nd -stage SCI, MAC PDU, data, etc.) can be transmitted to the second terminal. In step S830, the first terminal can receive a PSFCH related to the PSCCH / PSSCH from the second terminal.

[0110] Below, a terminal procedure for determining a subset of resources to be reported to a higher layer in terminal-to-terminal communication (e.g., sidelink) resource allocation mode 2 is described.

[0111] In resource allocation mode 2, the upper layer may request the terminal to determine a subset of resources from which the upper layer will select resources for terminal-to-terminal physical channel (e.g., PSSCH / PSCCH) transmission. To trigger this procedure, in slot n, the upper layer provides the following parameters for the terminal-to-terminal physical channel (e.g., PSSCH / PSCCH) transmission.

[0112] - Resource pool from which resources will be reported;

[0113] - L1 priority, prio TX ;

[0114] - Remaining PDB (packet delay budget);

[0115] - The number L of subchannels to be used for terminal-to-terminal physical channel (e.g., PSSCH / PSCCH) transmission within a slot. subCH ;

[0116] - Optionally, resource reservation interval P in msec rsvpTX

[0117] - If a higher layer requests a terminal to determine a subset of resources to select for terminal-to-terminal physical channel (e.g., PSSCH / PSCCH) transmission as part of a re-evaluation or pre-emption procedure, the higher layer provides a set of resources (r0, r1, r2, ...) that can be re-evaluated and a set of resources (r'0, r'1, r'2, ...) that can be pre-empted.

[0118] - slot r i '' - It is up to the terminal implementation to determine the subset of resources requested by the upper layer before or after T3. Here, r i'' is the slot with the smallest slot index among (r0, r1, r2, ...) and (r'0, r'1, r'2, ...), and T3 is T SL proc,1 is the same as . Here μ SL is the configuration of the subcarrier spacing (e.g., SCS) of the terminal-to-terminal (e.g., SL) partial bandwidth (e.g., BWP).

[0119] The following upper-level parameters influence this procedure:

[0120] - sl-SelectionWindowList: internal parameter T 2min is given prio TX The value is set to the corresponding value from the upper layer parameter sl-SelectionWindowList.

[0121] - sl-Thres-RSRP-List: This upper layer parameter is used to specify each (p i , p j ) provides an RSRP threshold for the combination, where p i is the priority field value included in the received SCI format 1-A and p j is the transmission priority on the resource selected by the terminal; in this procedure, p j = prio TX am.

[0122] - sl-RS-ForSensing selects whether the terminal uses terminal-to-terminal physical shared channel (e.g., PSSCH)-RSRP or terminal-to-terminal physical control channel (e.g., PSCCH)-RSRP measurements.

[0123] - sl-ResourceReservePeriodList

[0124] - sl-SensingWindow: The internal parameter T0 is defined as the number of slots corresponding to sl-SensingWindow msec.

[0125] - sl-TxPercentageList: given prio TX The internal parameter X for sl-TxPercentageList(prio) is converted from percentage to ratio. TX ) is defined as.

[0126] - sl-PreemptionEnable: If sl-PreemptionEnable is provided and is not equal to 'enabled', the internal parameter prio pre is set by the parameter sl-PreemptionEnable provided by the upper layer.

[0127] If the resource reservation interval is P rsvp_TX When provided, the resource reservation interval is in msec units, or logical slot units P' rsvp_TX is converted to .

[0128] Notation:

[0129] (t' SL 0, t' SL 1, t' SL 2, ...) represents a set of slots belonging to the sidelink resource pool.

[0130] For example, a terminal may select a set of candidate resources (S) based on the procedure described below. A ) can be selected. For example, when resource (re)selection is triggered, the terminal selects a set of candidate resources (S) based on the procedure described below. A ) can be selected. For example, if re-evaluation or pre-emption is triggered, the terminal selects a set of candidate resources (S) based on the procedure described below. A ) can be selected.

[0131] The following procedures may be used:

[0132] 1) Candidate single slot resource R for transmission x,y , j = 0, ..., L subCHWhen slot t'^SL_y has subchannels x+j and L subCH are defined as adjacent subchannels. A terminal is included in the corresponding resource pool within the time interval [n + T1, n + T2]. subCH It may be necessary to assume that all sets of adjacent subchannels correspond to one candidate single-slot resource.

[0133] The choice of T1 can depend on the terminal implementation in the range 0 ≤ T1 ≤ T^SL_proc,1, and T^SL_proc,1 can be predefined.

[0134] If T 2min If this remaining packet delay budget (in slots) is shorter than T2, T 2min ≤ T2≤ may be implemented by the terminal within the range of the remaining packet delay budget (in slots); otherwise, T2 may be set to the remaining packet delay budget (in slots).

[0136] 2) The sensing window can be defined as a slot range of [n - T0, n - T^SL_proc,0], where T0 can be predefined and T^SL_proc,0 can be predefined in units of slots. The terminal may need to monitor slots belonging to the sidelink resource pool within the sensing window excluding the slot in which its own transmission occurs. The terminal may perform the following steps based on the decoded terminal-to-terminal physical control channel (e.g., PSCCH) and the RSRP measured in the corresponding slots.

[0137] 3) Initial parameter Th(p) i , p j ) can be set to the corresponding value of the RSRP threshold indicated in the i-th field of sl-Thres-RSRP-List, where i = p i + (p j - 1) * 8.

Here, P' rsvp_RX is P rsvp_RX is converted into a unit of logical slot, and P rsvp_RX < T scal and n' - m ≤ P' rsvp_RX When Q is T scal / P rsvp_RX is the up-slot value, and slot n is a set (t'^SL_0, t'^SL_1, ..., t'^SL_T' max -1) if t'SL_n' = n, otherwise, slot t'^SL_n' is in the set (t'^SL_0, t'^SL_1, ..., t'^SL_T' max -1) is the first slot after slot n; otherwise, Q = 1. [0156] Referring to (a) or (b) of FIG. 8, for example, a first terminal may transmit an SCI to a second terminal on a PSCCH. Or, for example, the first terminal may transmit two consecutive SCIs (e.g., 2-stage SCIs) to the second terminal on the PSCCH and / or the PSSCH. In this case, the second terminal may decode the two consecutive SCIs (e.g., 2-stage SCIs) to receive the PSSCH from the first terminal. In the present specification, an SCI transmitted on a PSCCH is 1 st SCI, 1st SCI, 1 st -stage SCI or 1 st -stage SCI format, and the SCI transmitted on the PSSCH is 2 nd SCI, 2nd SCI, 2 nd -stage SCI or 2 nd -It can be called a stage SCI format.

[0157] Below, an example of SCI format 1-A is described. For example, SCI can be interchanged / replaced with terminal-to-terminal control information (or device-to-device control information).

[0158] SCI Format 1-A is a 2-bit format on the PSSCH and PSSCH nd - Used for scheduling of stage SCI. For example, PSSCH can be replaced / interchanged with terminal-to-terminal physical shared channel (or device-to-device physical shared channel).

[0197] Referring to (a) or (b) of FIG. 8, in step S830, the first terminal may receive a PSFCH. For example, the first terminal and the second terminal may determine PSFCH resources, and the second terminal may use the PSFCH resources to transmit HARQ feedback to the first terminal.

[0198] Referring to (a) of FIG. 8, in step S840, the first terminal may transmit SL HARQ feedback to the base station via PUCCH and / or PUSCH.

[0199] FIG. 9 illustrates a transmission spatial filter and a reception spatial filter according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. The embodiment of FIG. 9 can be combined with various embodiments of the present disclosure.

[0200] Referring to FIG. 9, a reception spatial filter (901) used by a receiving terminal for a reception operation and a transmission spatial filter (911) used by a transmitting terminal for a transmission operation are shown.

[0201] For example, a receiving spatial filter can only pass signals with the same beam direction as 903. That is, the receiving terminal can only receive transmissions performed based on a beam having a direction of 903.

[0202] Therefore, transmissions of 906 transmitted based on a beam having a different beam direction from that of 903 may not pass through the reception spatial filter. Signal 904, which is transmitted based on a beam having the same beam direction as that of 903, may pass through the reception spatial filter and be received by the receiving terminal.

[0203] For example, a receiving spatial filter may have a beam size / thickness of 902 and may only pass signals transmitted based on beams within the beam size / thickness. That is, a receiving terminal may only receive transmissions transmitted based on beams having a size / thickness within the beam size / thickness of 902.

[0204] Accordingly, among the signal components transmitted based on a beam having a size / thickness greater than that of 902, transmissions of 905 that contact the reception spatial filter outside the size / thickness of 902 may not pass through the reception spatial filter. Since 904 contacted the reception spatial filter within a range included in the size / thickness of 902, it can pass through the reception spatial filter and be received by the receiving terminal. On the other hand, since 905 contacted the reception spatial filter outside the size / thickness of 902, it cannot pass through the reception spatial filter and be received by the receiving terminal.

[0205] For example, 904 can be received by the receiving terminal because it is in contact with the receiving spatial filter within a range included in the size / thickness of 902 and has the same beam direction (903) as that passed by the receiving spatial filter. Here, for example, if the transmissions of 904 are all components transmitted based on a specific beam (i.e., if all signal components transmitted together with 904 are successfully received by the receiving terminal), the receiving spatial filter may be a spatial filter that covers the transmission spatial filter associated with the specific beam.

[0206] For example, a transmission spatial filter can only pass signals with the same beam direction as 913. That is, when a transmission terminal performs a transmission operation based on the transmission spatial filter, all signal components (914) that pass through the transmission spatial filter and are ultimately transmitted can have the direction of 913.

[0207] Therefore, transmissions of 916 transmitted based on a beam direction different from that of 913 may not pass through the transmission spatial filter. Signal components of 914 having the same beam direction as 913 may pass through the transmission spatial filter and be transmitted to the receiving terminal.

[0208] For example, a transmission spatial filter may have a beam size / thickness of 912 and may only pass signal components included within the beam size / thickness. That is, when a transmission terminal performs a transmission operation based on the transmission spatial filter, only signal components included within the size / thickness of 912 may pass through the transmission spatial filter and be ultimately transmitted.

[0209] Therefore, signal components that are not included in the size / thickness of 912 may not pass through the transmission spatial filter. Since 914 is a signal component included in the size / thickness of 912, it can pass through the transmission spatial filter and be transmitted to the receiving terminal. On the other hand, since 915 is a signal component that is not included in the size / thickness of 912, it cannot pass through the transmission spatial filter and cannot be transmitted to the receiving terminal.

[0210] For example, 914 may be transmitted to the receiving terminal as signal components that are included in the size / thickness of 912 and are identical to the beam direction (913) that the transmission spatial filter passes through. Here, for example, if the transmissions of 914 all pass through the receiving spatial filter that the receiving terminal uses for receiving operation (i.e., if the direction of the signal components of 914 is identical to the beam direction related to the receiving spatial filter and the signal components of 914 are all included in the size / thickness of the receiving spatial filter), the receiving spatial filter may be a spatial filter that covers the transmission spatial filter of 911.

[0211] FIG. 10 illustrates a method for determining whether a receiving spatial filter covers a transmitting spatial filter, according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. The embodiment of FIG. 10 may be combined with various embodiments of the present disclosure.

[0212] Referring to FIG. 10, a reception spatial filter (1001) used by a receiving terminal for a reception operation and a transmission spatial filter (1011) used by a transmitting terminal for a transmission operation are shown.

[0213] For example, the direction of the signal components that the receiving spatial filter passes through may be 1003, and the direction of the signal components that are transmitted through the transmitting spatial filter may be 1013. For example, the receiving beam direction associated with the receiving spatial filter may be 1003, and the transmitting beam direction associated with the transmitting spatial filter may be 1013.

[0214] For example, the size / thickness of the receiving spatial filter may be 1002. That is, the receiving spatial filter passes only signal components included within 1002, and only signal components that pass through the receiving spatial filter can be received by the receiving terminal.

[0215] For example, the size / thickness of the transmission spatial filter may be 1012. That is, the transmission spatial filter passes only signal components included within 1012, and only signal components that pass through the transmission spatial filter can be transmitted to the receiving terminal.

[0216] 1021 and 1022 are cross-sectional views of the size / thickness of the transmission spatial filter or the size / thickness of the reception spatial filter.

[0217] For example, if the above 1021 is the size / thickness of the transmission spatial filter, the above 1022 is the size / thickness of the reception spatial filter, and since the above 1022 is included in the above 1021, the size / thickness of the transmission spatial filter is larger than the size / thickness of the reception spatial filter, so some of the signal components transmitted to the receiving terminal through the transmission spatial filter may not pass through the reception spatial filter. In this case, the reception spatial filter may be a spatial filter that does not cover the transmission spatial filter.

[0218] Conversely, for example, if the 1021 is the size / thickness of the receiving spatial filter, the 1022 is the size / thickness of the transmitting spatial filter, and since the 1022 is included in the 1021, the size / thickness of the transmitting spatial filter is smaller than the size / thickness of the receiving spatial filter, so all signal components transmitted to the receiving terminal through the transmitting spatial filter can pass through the receiving spatial filter. In this case, the receiving spatial filter may be a spatial filter that covers the transmitting spatial filter.

[0219] 1031 represents the receiving beam direction related to 1003, that is, the receiving spatial filter, and 1032 represents the transmitting beam direction related to 1013, that is, the transmitting spatial filter. For example, only when 1031 and 1032 are horizontal as shown in the drawing can all signal components transmitted by the transmitting terminal based on the transmitting spatial filter pass through the receiving spatial filter. Therefore, only when 1031 and 1032 are horizontal can all signal components transmitted to the receiving terminal through the transmitting spatial filter pass through the receiving spatial filter. The receiving spatial filter can be said to be a spatial filter that covers the transmitting spatial filter.

[0220] Meanwhile, during terminal-to-terminal communication (e.g., SL communication), the terminal may perform transmission and / or reception operations based on multiple panels and / or beam directions, in which case a method for managing information related to the beam or settings such as a spatial domain transmission and / or reception filter (hereinafter, referred to as a beam management method) may need to be defined. Here, for example, the beam management method may include a measurement and reporting procedure for a terminal-to-terminal transmission beam and reception beam pair.

[0221] For example, a transmitting terminal may transmit a reference signal for beam measurement, and a receiving terminal may perform a resource-based measurement and / or reporting operation through which the reference signal is transmitted. Here, through the measurement and / or reporting procedure, an optimal transmission beam and reception beam pair between the transmitting terminal and the receiving terminal may be determined.

[0222] For example, the present disclosure below proposes a method and apparatus for transmitting a reference signal for beam measurement. For example, in the present disclosure below, a transmission beam and / or a reception beam may refer to a transmission and / or reception filter in a spatial domain. For example, in the present disclosure below, a resource pool may refer to a resource set composed of one or more transmission resource(s) and / or slot(s). For example, the features described in the present disclosure below can be extended to transmission and / or reception operations of (pre-configured) terminal-to-terminal signals (e.g., SL signals) (e.g., sensing signals, etc.).

[0223] For example, in the present disclosure, transmitting a resource may include transmitting a signal via the resource. For example, in the present disclosure, transmitting a resource may include transmitting a signal using the resource.

[0224] [Proposal #01]

[0225] According to one embodiment of the present disclosure, a method may be proposed for a terminal to transmit a reference signal for beam measurement and / or a resource for beam reporting. For example, the transmission may be performed using one or more of the following methods.

[0226] (Scheme 1) For example, a reference signal for beam measurement may be transmitted within a (dedicated) resource pool (hereinafter referred to as a first resource pool). For example, a resource for beam reporting may be transmitted within a terminal-to-terminal physical feedback channel (e.g., PSFCH; physical sidelink feedback channel) region set in the first resource pool.

[0227] (Scheme 2) For example, a reference signal for beam measurement may be transmitted within a (dedicated) resource pool (hereinafter referred to as a first resource pool). For example, a resource for beam reporting may be transmitted within a terminal-to-terminal physical channel (e.g., PSCCH / PSSCH) region within a (shared) resource pool (hereinafter referred to as a second resource pool).

[0228] (Scheme 3) For example, a trigger signal for a reference signal for beam measurement may be transmitted within a (dedicated) resource pool (hereinafter, a first resource pool). For example, a reference signal for beam measurement may be transmitted within a (shared) resource pool (hereinafter, a second resource pool). For example, a resource for beam reporting may be transmitted within a terminal-to-terminal physical feedback channel (e.g., PSFCH) region within a (shared) resource pool (hereinafter, a second resource pool).

[0229] Here, for example, a dedicated resource pool may mean a set of resources dedicatedly allocated for transmission of a specific type of signal, and a shared resource pool may mean a set of resources that can be shared for transmission of multiple types of signals.

[0230] Here, for example, a terminal-to-terminal physical feedback channel (e.g., PSFCH) transmission opportunity may be composed of multiple terminal-to-terminal physical feedback channel (e.g., PSFCH) transmission resource(s) corresponding to multiple beam measurement reference signal(s) distinguished by different identifiers. For example, terminal-to-terminal physical feedback channel (e.g., PSFCH) transmission symbols corresponding to each transmission beam within a terminal-to-terminal physical feedback channel (e.g., PSFCH) transmission opportunity may be distinctly present.

[0231] Here, for example, the beam reporting resource may be determined based on one or more of the following information:

[0232] 1. Identifier information of reference signal for beam measurement

[0233] 2. Resource allocation information for reference signals for beam measurement

[0234] 3. Resource allocation information of terminal-to-terminal physical channels (e.g., PSCCH / PSSCH) associated with reference signals for beam measurement.

[0235] 4. Control information indicated by the terminal-to-terminal physical channel (e.g., PSCCH / PSSCH) associated with the reference signal for beam measurement.

[0236] 5. Beam and / or terminal identifier information associated with the reference signal for beam measurement (e.g., beam ID, terminal ID)

[0237] In a next-generation communication system according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, assuming that a terminal performs terminal-to-terminal communication (e.g., SL communication), the terminal can be (pre-)configured with resource(s) that can be used for data transmission and reception based on terminal-to-terminal communication (e.g., SL communication) in the form of a resource pool.

[0238] For example, a resource pool may be composed of consecutive physical resource blocks (e.g., PRBs) in the frequency domain and non-consecutive slots in the time domain, and may be defined within a partial bandwidth (e.g., BWP; bandwidth part) set for terminal-to-terminal communication (e.g., SL communication). Here, the resource pool may be composed of consecutive sub-channel(s) in the frequency domain, and each sub-channel may be composed of multiple groups(es) of physical resource blocks (e.g., PRBs).

[0239] Here, the resource pool may support a terminal-to-terminal physical feedback channel (e.g., PSFCH) for the purpose of supporting feedback operations (e.g., HARQ-ACK feedback) for unicast and / or groupcast transmissions. For example, in conventional terminal-to-terminal communication (e.g., SL communication), terminal-to-terminal physical feedback channel (e.g., PSFCH) resources for feedback (e.g., HARQ-ACK feedback) purposes may be (pre-)configured within the resource pool for each resource pool.

[0240] Here, for example, when a terminal performs multi-beam-based terminal-to-terminal communication (e.g., SL communication), the terminal may transmit a reference signal for beam measurement and / or a resource for beam reporting for beam management. For example, a transmitting terminal may transmit a reference signal for beam measurement, and a receiving terminal may perform beam measurement with the reference signal for beam measurement and then transmit feedback with a corresponding beam reporting resource.

[0241] Here, for example, a dedicated resource pool may mean a set of resources dedicatedly allocated for transmission of a specific type of signal, and a shared resource pool may mean a set of resources that can be shared for transmission of multiple types of signals.

[0242] For example, in order to shorten the beam measurement time, it may be allowed for a reference signal for beam measurement to be transmitted based on multiple beams within a slot. Here, conventional terminal-to-terminal communication terminals (e.g., SL communication terminals) may perform a reception algorithm assuming a single beam application within a slot when receiving data, etc. Accordingly, in order not to affect receiving terminals assuming the single beam application, it may be desirable for a reference signal for beam measurement that supports transmission based on multiple beams within a slot, etc. to be transmitted through a dedicated resource pool. Accordingly, it may be desirable for a reference signal for beam measurement to be transmitted through a dedicated resource pool.

[0243] (Scheme 1) For example, in this case, beam reporting resources corresponding to the reference signal for beam measurement may be transmitted through a dedicated resource pool and / or a shared resource pool. For example, beam reporting resources may be transmitted through terminal-to-terminal physical feedback channel (e.g., PSFCH) resources configured for the dedicated resource pool through which the reference signal for beam measurement is transmitted.

[0244] (Scheme 2) For example, or, reference signals for beam measurement may be transmitted from a dedicated resource pool, while resources for beam reporting may be transmitted from a shared resource pool to reduce additional signal transmission load. For example, when reference signals for beam measurement are transmitted from a shared resource pool, they may be transmitted through terminal-to-terminal physical channel (e.g., PSCCH / PSSCH) resources.

[0245] Here, for example, if multiple beam-based transmissions within a slot of a reference signal for beam measurement are not supported, the reference signal for beam measurement may be transmitted from a shared resource pool. For example, the reference signal for beam measurement may be included in a terminal-to-terminal physical channel (e.g., PSCCH / PSSCH) transmission through which a direct communication request (e.g., DCR) message is transmitted, and may be transmitted in multiple slots corresponding to multiple beams.

[0246] Here, for example, in order for a receiving terminal to perform measurements on a pair(s) of transmission beams and reception beams based on a reference signal for beam measurement, the receiving terminal may need to know in advance the slot in which the reference signal for beam measurement is transmitted and beam information in that slot, and be able to prepare a reception beam corresponding to that beam.

[0247] For example, the slots and beam directions in which reference signals for beam measurement are transmitted may be preset, but in this case, multiple slot(s) in which reference signals for beam measurement can be transmitted within the shared resource pool must be allocated as dedicated resources, which may result in a problem of reduced resource utilization efficiency.

[0248] (Scheme 3) For example, therefore, in the present disclosure, a method is proposed in which a trigger signal for a reference signal for beam measurement is transmitted within a (dedicated) resource pool (hereinafter, a first resource pool), and a reference signal for beam measurement and / or a resource for beam reporting is transmitted within a (shared) resource pool (hereinafter, a second resource pool).

[0249] Here, for example, a trigger signal for a reference signal for beam measurement may support multiple beam-based transmissions within a slot to reduce a load according to signal transmission. Here, a resource for beam reporting may be transmitted within a terminal-to-terminal physical feedback channel (e.g., PSFCH) region within a (shared) resource pool (hereinafter, a second resource pool). For example, when a reference signal for beam measurement is transmitted while being included in a terminal-to-terminal physical channel (e.g., PSCCH / PSSCH) transmission on which a direct communication request (e.g., DCR) message is transmitted, a terminal-to-terminal physical feedback channel (e.g., PSFCH) resource corresponding to the terminal-to-terminal physical channel (e.g., PSCCH / PSSCH) may be utilized as a beam reporting resource.

[0250] FIG. 11 illustrates a beam measurement operation performed using a separately defined dedicated resource pool and a shared resource pool according to one embodiment of the present disclosure. The embodiment of FIG. 11 may be combined with various embodiments of the present disclosure.

[0251] Referring to FIG. 11, operations according to the proposed method of the present disclosure are shown when a dedicated resource pool and a shared resource pool for terminal-to-terminal communication (e.g., SL communication) are distinguished on the time axis. Here, method #1 represents a case where both a reference resource for beam measurement and a resource for beam reporting are transmitted from a dedicated resource pool, method #2 represents a case where a reference resource for beam measurement is transmitted from a dedicated resource pool and a resource for beam reporting is transmitted from a shared resource pool, and method #3 represents a case where a trigger signal is transmitted from a dedicated resource pool and both a reference resource for beam measurement and a resource for beam reporting are transmitted from a shared resource pool.

[0252] Here, for example, in method #2, if the beam reporting resource is transmitted from a (shared) resource pool, a problem may arise in which the beam of the resource area in which the beam reporting resource is transmitted is restricted. For example, when a terminal transmits a beam reporting resource for a beam measurement reference signal, the beam direction in which the beam reporting resource is transmitted may have a beam correspondence relationship with the received beam determined for the beam measurement reference signal.

[0253] Here, for example, when a terminal transmits a beam reporting resource through a terminal-to-terminal physical feedback channel (e.g., PSFCH) resource within a (shared) resource pool, the beam direction of the terminal-to-terminal physical feedback channel (e.g., PSFCH) resource may be restricted, which may affect transmission of the terminal-to-terminal physical feedback channel (e.g., PSFCH) resource for data. Therefore, in the present disclosure, a method is proposed in which, unlike the above, a reference signal for beam measurement is transmitted within a (shared) resource pool (hereinafter, a first resource pool), and a resource for beam reporting is transmitted within a (dedicated) resource pool (hereinafter, a second resource pool).

[0254] For example, the terminal may transmit a reference signal for beam measurement from a (shared) resource pool together with a terminal-to-terminal physical channel (e.g., PSCCH / PSSCH) transmission on which a direct communication request (e.g., DCR) message is transmitted, and a beam reporting resource corresponding to the reference signal for beam measurement may be transmitted from a (dedicated) resource pool. Here, the terminal may fully utilize terminal-to-terminal physical feedback channel (e.g., PSFCH) resources within the (shared) resource pool for the purpose of feedback on data (e.g., HARQ feedback).

[0255] For example, the above [Proposal #01] can be applied in combination with other proposal(s) to the extent that the actions of the disclosure do not conflict.

[0256] [Proposal #02]

[0257] According to one embodiment of the present disclosure, in a method for transmitting a reference signal for beam measurement and / or a resource for beam reporting by a terminal, when a resource pool (hereinafter, a first resource pool) through which a signal triggering transmission of a reference signal for beam measurement (or a resource for beam reporting) is transmitted and a resource pool (hereinafter, a second resource pool) through which a reference signal for beam measurement (or a resource for beam reporting) is transmitted are different from each other, a method for calculating timing of transmission resources may be provided as follows.

[0258] 1. Convert the trigger point within the first resource pool into a physical slot index.

[0259] 2. Determine the reference point within the second resource pool corresponding to the above physical slot index.

[0260] Here, for example, the reference point in time (reference point in time, reference resource) within the second resource pool may be a slot with the smallest physical slot index among the slot(s) within the second resource pool that have a physical slot index that is equal to or greater than the physical slot index. For example, the reference point in time (reference point in time, reference resource) within the second resource pool may be a slot with the largest physical slot index among the slot(s) within the second resource pool that have a physical slot index that is equal to or less than the physical slot index.

[0261] 3. Determine the transmission timing (within the second resource pool) based on the reference point within the second resource pool.

[0262] Here, for example, the transmission timing can be defined as the number of logical slots from the reference point in time within the second resource pool to the transmission point in time. For example, the transmission timing can be one of the (pre-)configured transmission points that is determined in a pre-arranged manner or is the earliest point in time relative to the reference point in time within the second resource pool.

[0263] Here, the signal triggering the transmission of a reference signal for beam measurement (or a resource for beam reporting) may be in the form of a terminal-to-terminal physical channel (e.g., PSCCH and / or PSSCH) and / or a reference signal (e.g., RS; reference signal).

[0264] Here, a signal triggering transmission of a reference signal for beam measurement (or a resource for beam reporting) may include time axis offset information, and the terminal may determine a reference time point within the second resource pool by combining a physical slot index of a trigger time point within the first resource pool and / or the offset information.

[0265] In a next-generation communication system according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, assuming that a terminal performs terminal-to-terminal communication (e.g., SL communication), the terminal can be (pre-)configured with resource(s) that can be used for data transmission and reception based on terminal-to-terminal communication (e.g., SL communication) in the form of a resource pool.

[0266] For example, a resource pool may be composed of consecutive physical resource blocks (e.g., PRBs) in the frequency domain and non-consecutive slots in the time domain, and may be defined within a partial bandwidth (e.g., BWP; bandwidth part) set for terminal-to-terminal communication (e.g., SL communication). Here, the resource pool may be composed of consecutive sub-channel(s) in the frequency domain, and each sub-channel may be composed of multiple groups(es) of physical resource blocks (e.g., PRBs).

[0267] Here, the resource pool may support a terminal-to-terminal physical feedback channel (e.g., PSFCH) for the purpose of supporting feedback operations (e.g., HARQ-ACK feedback) for unicast and / or groupcast transmissions.

[0268] Here, for example, when a terminal performs multi-beam-based terminal-to-terminal communication (e.g., SL communication), the terminal may transmit a reference signal for beam measurement and / or a resource for beam reporting for beam management. For example, a transmitting terminal may transmit a reference signal for beam measurement, and a receiving terminal may perform beam measurement with the reference signal for beam measurement and then transmit feedback with a corresponding beam reporting resource.

[0269] Here, for example, a resource pool (hereinafter, a first resource pool) to which a signal triggering transmission of a reference signal for beam measurement (or a resource for beam reporting) is transmitted and a resource pool (hereinafter, a second resource pool) to which a reference signal for beam measurement (or a resource for beam reporting) is transmitted may be set differently.

[0270] For example, a terminal may transmit a reference signal for beam measurement from a dedicated resource pool (hereinafter, a first resource pool) for the purpose of supporting multiple beam-based transmissions within a slot, and may transmit a resource for beam reporting triggered by a reference signal for beam measurement from a shared resource pool (hereinafter, a second resource pool) shared with data transmission for the purpose of reducing signal transmission load.

[0271] Here, a method for determining transmission timing between a signal triggering transmission of a reference signal for beam measurement (or a resource for beam reporting) transmitted from the first resource pool and a reference signal for beam measurement (or a resource for beam reporting) transmitted from the second resource pool may need to be defined.

[0272] Here, for example, it may be desirable for the trigger point to follow the instruction point in the first resource pool, while the transmission timing may be defined by utilizing the time resource(s) of the second resource pool, which is the resource pool where the actual transmission is performed.

[0273] According to the existing technology, assuming that the first resource pool provides candidate resources for a reference signal for beam measurement, and the second resource pool provides candidate resources for a resource for beam reporting triggered by the reference signal for beam measurement, if the transmission timing for the resource for beam reporting is determined based on the first resource pool, the transmission timing of the beam reporting resource may be determined in units of transmissions of the reference signal for beam measurement, thereby obtaining inadequate time resolution. Therefore, in the present disclosure, when a resource pool (hereinafter, the first resource pool) through which a signal for triggering transmission of a reference signal for beam measurement (or a resource for beam reporting) is transmitted and a resource pool (hereinafter, the second resource pool) through which a reference signal for beam measurement (or a resource for beam reporting) is transmitted are different, a method for calculating the timing of a transmission resource is proposed according to the following procedure.

[0274] FIG. 12 illustrates transmission timing of a reference signal for beam measurement and a resource for beam reporting according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. The embodiment of FIG. 12 may be combined with various embodiments of the present disclosure.

[0275] Referring to FIG. 12, as a first step in the process of determining beam reporting resources, the terminal can convert a trigger point within the first resource pool into a physical slot index.

[0276] Next, the terminal may determine a reference point within the second resource pool corresponding to the physical slot index. For example, the reference point within the second resource pool may be a slot having a smallest physical slot index among slot(s) within the second resource pool that have a physical slot index that is equal to or greater than the physical slot index. For example, the reference point within the second resource pool may be a slot having a largest physical slot index among slot(s) within the second resource pool that have a physical slot index that is equal to or less than the physical slot index.

[0277] Finally, the terminal may determine a transmission timing (within the second resource pool) based on a reference point in time within the second resource pool. For example, the transmission timing may be defined as the number of logical slots from the reference point in time within the second resource pool to the transmission timing. For example, the transmission timing may be one of the (pre-)configured transmission timings that is determined in a pre-arranged manner or is the earliest based on the reference point in time within the second resource pool.

[0278] Here, for example, when beam reporting resources are transmitted in the form of terminal-to-terminal physical feedback channel (e.g., PSFCH) (or terminal-to-terminal physical channel (e.g., PSCCH / PSSCH)) resources within a (shared) resource pool, a frequency resource region and / or a resource block (e.g., RB; resource block) set for a resource region of the beam reporting terminal-to-terminal physical feedback channel (e.g., PSFCH) (or terminal-to-terminal physical channel (e.g., PSCCH / PSSCH)) can be set independently from a frequency resource region and / or a resource block (e.g., RB; resource block) set for a conventional terminal-to-terminal physical feedback channel (e.g., PSFCH) resource (or terminal-to-terminal physical channel (e.g., PSCCH / PSSCH)) region. Through this, collisions between conventional feedback resources and beam reporting resources can be avoided.

[0279] Here, a signal triggering transmission of a reference signal for beam measurement (or a resource for beam reporting) may include time axis offset information, and the terminal may determine a reference time point within the second resource pool by combining a physical slot index of a trigger time point within the first resource pool and / or the offset information. Here, the offset information may be utilized for the purpose of preventing a phenomenon in which trigger(s) in the first resource pool have the same reference time point within the second resource pool. For example, different additional time axis offsets may be assigned to trigger(s) having adjacent physical slot indices so that the reference time points within the second resource pool are distributed.

[0280] For example, the above [Proposal #02] can be applied in combination with other proposal(s) to the extent that the actions of the disclosure do not conflict.

[0281] [Proposal #03]

[0282] According to one embodiment of the present disclosure, in a method for transmitting a reference signal for beam measurement and / or a resource for beam reporting by a terminal, a method may be provided for defining N (consecutive) slots capable of transmitting M beam measurement reference signals and / or beam reporting resources (within a slot) as one slot group, and utilizing the slot group as a basic transmission unit for transmitting the reference signal for beam measurement (based on beam sweeping).

[0283] For example, in the sensing process and / or the resource selection process and / or the resource allocation process for transmitting a reference signal for beam measurement (based on beam sweeping), the slot group may be defined as a basic transmission unit.

[0284] Here, for example, the M may be set based on (pre-)configuration and / or PC5-RRC signaling. Here, for example, the N may be set based on (pre-)configuration and / or PC5-RRC signaling.

[0285] Here, the identifier j for the reference signal for beam measurement for i = 0, 1, 쪋, (M*N)-1 in the slot group can be determined by one or more of the following methods. Here, for example, the same spatial filter and / or beam can be applied for the same identifier.

[0286] 1. j = (i mod P)

[0287] Here, the P may be set based on (pre-)configuration and / or PC5-RRC signaling. For example, the P may mean the number of different transmission beams and may be a divisor of M*N.

[0288] 2. j = floor (i / Q)

[0289] Here, the above Q can be set based on (pre-)configuration and / or PC5-RRC signaling. For example, the above Q can mean the number of different receiving beams and can be a divisor of M*N.

[0290] Here, the identifier allocation method for reference signal(s) for beam measurement within the slot group can be set based on (pre-)configuration and / or PC5-RRC signaling.

[0291] Here, the slot group may be composed of (consecutive) slot(s) within a resource pool set for terminal-to-terminal communication (e.g., SL communication).

[0292] In a next-generation communication system according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, assuming that a terminal performs terminal-to-terminal communication (e.g., SL communication), when the terminal performs multi-beam-based terminal-to-terminal communication (e.g., SL communication), the terminal may transmit a reference signal for beam measurement and / or a resource for beam reporting for beam management. For example, a transmitting terminal may transmit a reference signal for beam measurement, and a receiving terminal may perform beam measurement with the reference signal for beam measurement and then transmit feedback with a corresponding beam reporting resource. Here, when a terminal supports P transmission beams (or spatial filters) and Q reception beams (or spatial filters), there are P*Q transmission beam and reception beam pairs between the terminals, and P*Q measurements may be required.

[0293] Here, if a reference signal for beam measurement is transmitted only once per slot, P*Q slots may be required for the P*Q measurements, and the signal transmission load for beam measurement may be very high. Here, if the signal transmission load for beam measurement is greater than the system performance obtained by beam management, the overall system performance due to beam management support may rather be degraded. Therefore, in the present disclosure, in a method for a terminal to transmit a reference signal for beam measurement and / or a resource for beam reporting, a method is proposed in which N (consecutive) slots capable of transmitting M reference signals for beam measurement and / or resources for beam reporting (within a slot) are defined as one slot group, and the slot group is utilized as a basic transmission unit for transmitting reference signals for beam measurement (based on beam sweeping).

[0294] Fig. 13 illustrates a time axis transmission unit for transmitting a reference signal for beam measurement based on beam sweeping. The embodiment of Fig. 13 can be combined with various embodiments of the present disclosure.

[0295] Referring to FIG. 13, when a terminal supports P transmission beams (or spatial filters) and Q reception beams (or spatial filters), M and N can be set so that P*Q = M*N.

[0296] For example, when P=4 and Q=4, beam measurement for 16 pairs of transmit beams and receive beams can be supported by transmitting reference signals for beam measurement for 4 transmit beams per slot in a total of 4 slots. Here, for example, the slot group can be defined as a basic transmission unit of a sensing process and / or a resource selection process and / or a resource allocation process for transmitting reference signals for beam measurement (based on beam sweeping). For example, when a terminal transmits reference signals for beam measurement (based on beam sweeping), the reference signals for beam measurement can be transmitted such that they start at the boundary of a slot group.

[0297] For example, the above [Proposal #03] can be applied in combination with other proposal(s) to the extent that the actions of the disclosure do not conflict.

[0298] [Proposal #04]

[0299] According to one embodiment of the present disclosure, in a method for transmitting a reference signal for beam measurement and / or a resource for beam reporting by a terminal, a method may be provided in which the terminal transmits a control signal associated with the reference signal for beam measurement and / or the resource for beam reporting, and the control signal is transmitted such that it includes one or more of the following information.

[0300] 1. Transmission resource reservation information for reference signals for beam measurement and / or resources for beam reporting.

[0301] 2. Data transmission resource reservation information

[0302] 3. Transmit beam and / or receive beam reservation information

[0303] Here, for example, the control signal may be transmitted via a terminal-to-terminal physical channel (e.g., PSCCH / PSSCH). For example, the control signal may be first terminal-to-terminal control information (e.g., 1st SCI), second terminal-to-terminal control information (e.g., 2nd SCI), and / or a medium access control (MAC) control element (e.g., CE; control element).

[0304] Here, the transmission beam and / or reception beam reservation information may be provided based on a terminal-to-terminal physical feedback channel (e.g., PSFCH) transmission opportunity (terminal-to-terminal physical feedback channel (e.g., PSFCH) occasion). For example, provision of pre-reserved beam information for each terminal-to-terminal physical feedback channel (e.g., PSFCH) transmission opportunity may mean that the use of the beam is reserved in a terminal-to-terminal physical channel (e.g., PSCCH / PSSCH) transmission slot associated with the corresponding terminal-to-terminal physical feedback channel (e.g., PSFCH) transmission opportunity.

[0305] Here, the information contained in the control signal may be information about the same resource pool or information about a different resource pool. For example, the control signal may be transmitted within a (dedicated) resource pool, and the information indicated by the control signal may be information about a (shared) resource pool.

[0306] In a next-generation communication system according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, assuming that a terminal performs terminal-to-terminal communication (e.g., SL communication), when the terminal performs multi-beam-based terminal-to-terminal communication (e.g., SL communication), the terminal may transmit a reference signal for beam measurement and / or a resource for beam reporting for beam management. For example, a transmitting terminal may transmit a reference signal for beam measurement, and a receiving terminal may perform beam measurement with the reference signal for beam measurement and then transmit feedback with a corresponding resource for beam reporting.

[0307] Here, for example, when the terminal transmits a reference signal for beam measurement and / or a resource for beam reporting, a control signal associated with the reference signal for beam measurement and / or the resource for beam reporting may be transmitted. For example, the terminal may perform transmission of the reference signal for beam measurement and / or the resource for beam reporting by applying beam sweeping within a slot in order to shorten the beam measurement time in a dedicated resource pool. Here, for example, since transmission is performed for all transmission beams of the transmitting terminal in a slot to which the beam sweeping is applied, the slot may be utilized for the purpose of transmitting broadcast data of the transmitting terminal in addition to transmitting the reference signal for beam measurement and / or the resource for beam reporting.

[0308] For example, a terminal may transmit an associated control signal when transmitting a reference signal for beam measurement and / or a resource for beam reporting based on beam sweeping. Here, the control signal may include transmission resource reservation information for the reference signal for beam measurement and / or the resource for beam reporting, through which the transmission resource reservation information for the reference signal for beam measurement and / or the resource for beam reporting may be made known to other terminals.

[0309] Here, for example, the control signal may include data transmission resource reservation information and / or transmission / reception beam reservation information, through which transmission resource reservation information for a specific beam may be notified to other terminals. Here, the reference signal for beam measurement and / or the resource for beam reporting and / or the transmission resource reservation information for data / beam may be utilized to avoid transmission resource collisions and / or mitigate interference between terminals.

[0310] Here, for example, the control signal may be transmitted via a terminal-to-terminal physical channel (e.g., PSCCH / PSSCH). For example, the control signal may be first terminal-to-terminal control information (e.g., 1st SCI), second terminal-to-terminal control information (e.g., 2nd SCI), and / or MAC control element (e.g., CE).

[0311] Here, the transmission beam and / or reception beam reservation information may be provided based on a terminal-to-terminal physical feedback channel (e.g., PSFCH) transmission opportunity (terminal-to-terminal physical feedback channel (e.g., PSFCH) occasion).

[0312] For example, the above [Proposal #04] can be applied in combination with other proposal(s) to the extent that the actions of the disclosure do not conflict.

[0313] [Proposal #05]

[0314] According to one embodiment of the present disclosure, in a method for transmitting a beam reporting resource by a terminal, a method may be provided for repeatedly transmitting the beam reporting resource Q times when the terminal transmits a beam reporting resource corresponding to a reference signal for beam measurement for a specific (transmission) beam.

[0315] Here, for example, the above Q may mean the (maximum) number of reception beams (or transmission beams) of the terminal, and may be set based on (pre-)configuration and / or PC5-RRC signaling.

[0316] Here, for example, when the terminal transmits a beam report resource corresponding to a specific transmission beam, the terminal may transmit by applying a transmission beam having a beam correspondence relationship with a reception beam determined for a reference signal for beam measurement transmitted with the transmission beam, or a transmission beam included in the direction of the reception beam.

[0317] Here, the beam correspondence relationship may mean a case where the transmission beam and the reception beam are the same beam and / or a case where the transmission beam and the reception beam correspond one-to-one.

[0318] In a next-generation communication system according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, assuming that a terminal performs terminal-to-terminal communication (e.g., SL communication), when the terminal performs multi-beam-based terminal-to-terminal communication (e.g., SL communication), the terminal may transmit a reference signal for beam measurement and / or a resource for beam reporting for beam management. For example, a transmitting terminal may transmit a reference signal for beam measurement, and a receiving terminal may perform beam measurement with the reference signal for beam measurement and then transmit feedback with a corresponding resource for beam reporting.

[0319] Here, when transmission and reception based on terminal-to-terminal communication (e.g., SL communication) is performed, channel reciprocity can be established between the forward channel and the reverse channel. For example, when a first terminal and a second terminal transmit and receive signals to each other, the reception intensity when the second terminal receives a signal transmitted by the first terminal via the first beam via the second beam may be similar to the reception intensity when the first terminal receives a signal transmitted by the second terminal via the second beam via the first beam. Here, the terminal can predict the interference impact by utilizing the channel reciprocity characteristic.

[0320] For example, in an example in which the first terminal and the second terminal exchange signals, the first terminal measures the reception intensity when receiving the signal transmitted by the second terminal via the second beam via the first beam, and can estimate the amount of interference that the second terminal experiences via the second beam when the first terminal transmits via the first beam based on the reception intensity. Here, the signal transmitted by the second terminal via the second beam may need to be transmitted at a relatively high frequency to support continuous interference influence measurement, and for example, the signal may be a beam reporting resource corresponding to a reference signal for beam measurement for a specific (transmission) beam.

[0321] Here, for example, the first terminal can measure the interference influence on several transmission beams, in which case the second terminal repeatedly transmits a signal transmitted through the second beam, and the first terminal can measure the signal transmitted through the second beam through different reception beams. Therefore, in the present disclosure, in a method for a terminal to transmit a beam reporting resource, a method is proposed in which, when transmitting a beam reporting resource corresponding to a beam measurement reference signal for a specific (transmission) beam, the beam reporting resource is repeatedly transmitted Q times. For example, when a terminal receives a beam measurement reference signal for P (transmission) beams repeatedly Q times for each (transmission) beam, the terminal can repeatedly transmit P beam reporting resources corresponding to the P (transmission) beams Q times.

[0322] For example, the above [Proposal #05] can be applied in combination with other proposal(s) to the extent that the actions of the disclosure do not conflict.

[0323] [Proposal #06]

[0324] According to one embodiment of the present disclosure, a method for a terminal to select and / or allocate transmission resources may be provided, wherein one or more of the following processes are performed.

[0325] 1. Obtaining past and / or reserved transmission resource information (hereinafter referred to as first information) to which a specific beam (hereinafter referred to as first beam) has been applied by receiving a reference signal and / or control signal for beam measurement (based on beam sweeping)

[0326] 2. Acquire the reception strength and / or reception sensitivity information (hereinafter referred to as second information) of the feedback signal(s) corresponding to the past transmission resource(s) to which the first beam was applied.

[0327] 3. Selecting and / or allocating transmission resources to be transmitted to a specific beam (hereinafter referred to as the second beam) based on the first information and / or the second information.

[0328] For example, if a reserved transmission resource (from another terminal) is identified according to the first information for a transmission candidate resource, the terminal may utilize the transmission candidate resource for resource selection and / or allocation if the feedback reception strength and / or reception sensitivity of the reserved transmission resource according to the second information is below a (specific) reference value (or threshold value), and otherwise exclude the transmission candidate resource from the transmission candidate resources.

[0329] Here, for example, the feedback signal(s) corresponding to the past transmission resource(s) to which the first beam is applied can be transmitted using a transmission beam having a beam correspondence relationship with the reception beam determined for the first beam.

[0330] Here, for example, the past transmission resource(s) to which the first beam is applied may be reference signal(s) for beam measurement, and the corresponding feedback signal(s) may be transmission resource(s) for beam reporting.

[0331] Here, the terminal may apply a reception beam having a beam correspondence relationship with the second beam when measuring reception intensity and / or reception sensitivity corresponding to the second information. Here, the reception intensity and / or reception sensitivity may be utilized as a prediction value for the interference intensity experienced by the terminal receiving the first beam from the second beam.

[0332] Here, the beam correspondence relationship may mean a case where the transmission beam and the reception beam are the same beam and / or a case where the transmission beam and the reception beam correspond one-to-one.

[0333] Here, the terminal can select preferred resources and / or non-preferred resources based on the first information and / or the second information, and provide the preferred resources and / or non-preferred resources to other terminals.

[0334] In a next-generation communication system according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, assuming that a terminal performs terminal-to-terminal communication (e.g., SL communication), when the terminal performs multi-beam-based terminal-to-terminal communication (e.g., SL communication), the terminal may transmit a reference signal for beam measurement and / or a resource for beam reporting for beam management. For example, a transmitting terminal may transmit a reference signal for beam measurement, and a receiving terminal may perform beam measurement with the reference signal for beam measurement and then transmit feedback with a corresponding resource for beam reporting.

[0335] Meanwhile, in a multi-beam based terminal-to-terminal communication (e.g., SL communication) system, when a terminal (hereinafter, a first terminal) wishes to select a transmission resource for a specific (transmission) beam, if the first terminal can know information (hereinafter, first information) about transmission resources reserved by another terminal (hereinafter, a second terminal) (within a candidate resource set for transmission resource selection) and / or information (hereinafter, second information) about an expected interference impact of its own specific (transmission) beam on a terminal (hereinafter, a third terminal) that will receive the reserved transmission resource, the first terminal can reduce the expected interference by excluding transmission resources with a large expected interference impact from the candidate resource set and then selecting transmission resources for its own specific (transmission) beam. Through this, the first terminal can perform more effective transmission resource selection that reduces the interference impact based on the first information and / or the second information.

[0336] Here, for example, in a conventional terminal-to-terminal communication (e.g., SL communication) system where omni-directional transmission and / or reception beams are assumed to be used, the reception strength of a transmission resource of a second terminal measured by a first terminal (within a sensing interval) was used as an indicator of the interference effect that the first terminal gives to a target terminal of a third terminal (i.e., a terminal receiving from the second terminal, the third terminal). However, in a multi-beam-based terminal-to-terminal communication (e.g., SL communication) system that assumes directional beams, the above method may no longer be valid.

[0337] For example, when a second terminal transmits and receives a signal with a third terminal, assume that the first terminal measures a high reception strength for the transmission resource of the second terminal with a reception beam corresponding to a specific transmission beam direction in which the first terminal wants to transmit. Here, the third terminal may form a reception beam in a different direction (e.g., an opposite direction) from the second terminal, in which case the second terminal may be greatly affected by interference from the specific transmission beam of the first terminal, while the third terminal may be hardly affected by interference from the specific transmission beam of the first terminal.

[0338] To solve the above problem, the present disclosure proposes a method in which a terminal performs one or more of the following processes in selecting and / or allocating transmission resources.

[0339] First, the terminal can obtain past and / or reserved transmission resource information (hereinafter, first information) to which a specific beam (hereinafter, first beam) is applied by receiving a reference signal and / or a control signal for beam measurement transmitted within a monitoring section (based on beam sweeping).

[0340] Next, the terminal can obtain reception strength and / or reception sensitivity information (hereinafter referred to as second information) of feedback signal(s) corresponding to the past transmission resource(s) to which the first beam was applied. Here, for example, the past transmission resource(s) to which the first beam was applied may be reference signal(s) for beam measurement, and the feedback signal(s) corresponding thereto may be transmission resource(s) for beam reporting.

[0341] Finally, the terminal may select and / or allocate a transmission resource to be transmitted using a specific beam (hereinafter referred to as the second beam) based on the first information and / or the second information. For example, if a reserved transmission resource (from another terminal) according to the first information is identified for a transmission candidate resource, the terminal may utilize the transmission candidate resource for resource selection and / or allocation if the feedback reception strength and / or reception sensitivity of the reserved transmission resource according to the second information is below a (specific) reference value (or threshold value), and otherwise exclude the transmission candidate resource from the transmission candidate resources.

[0342] Here, for example, the feedback signal(s) corresponding to the past transmission resource(s) to which the first beam was applied can be transmitted using a transmission beam having a beam correspondence relationship with the reception beam determined for the first beam. Here, for example, the terminal can apply a reception beam having a beam correspondence relationship with the second beam when measuring reception intensity and / or reception sensitivity corresponding to the second information. Here, for example, the reception intensity and / or reception sensitivity can be utilized as a prediction value for the interference intensity experienced by the terminal receiving the first beam from the second beam. Here, for example, the terminal can select a preferred resource and / or a non-preferred resource based on the first information and / or the second information, and provide the preferred resource and / or the non-preferred resource to another terminal.

[0343] FIG. 14 illustrates a transmission resource selection process based on the reception strength of a feedback channel, according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. The embodiment of FIG. 14 may be combined with various embodiments of the present disclosure.

[0344] FIG. 15 illustrates transmission beams and reception beams used by terminals for terminal-to-terminal communication according to one embodiment of the present disclosure. The embodiment of FIG. 15 may be combined with various embodiments of the present disclosure.

[0345] Referring to FIGS. 14 and 15, an operation according to the proposed method of the present disclosure is exemplified when the terminal has four transmission beams and four reception beams, respectively. First, terminal 1 can transmit a reference signal for beam measurement for transmission beam IDs #0, #1, #2, and #3 based on beam sweeping. Next, terminal 2 can measure the reference signal for beam measurement to determine a pair of transmission beams and reception beams. In FIG. 15, it is assumed that terminal 2 selects beam ID #2 of terminal 1 and beam ID #1 of terminal 2.

[0346] For example, terminal 2 may repeatedly transmit a beam report resource corresponding to beam ID #2 of terminal 1 to the determined beam ID #1 of terminal 2. Here, for example, proposal #05 of the present disclosure may be applied to the repeated transmission.

[0347] Meanwhile, terminal 3 can measure reception strength for the feedback channel of terminal 2, i.e., beam reporting resources. In FIG. 15, terminal 3 can measure the beam reporting resources of terminal 2 for reception beam IDs #0, #1, #2, and #3, and can confirm that high reception strength (e.g., RSRP) is observed when terminal 3 receives the beam reporting resources of terminal 2 corresponding to transmission beam ID #2 of terminal 1 with reception beam #ID 1. Through this, terminal 3 can predict that its own transmission beam #ID 1 will act as a potential interference source when terminal 1 schedules with transmission beam ID #2. Therefore, terminal 3 can exclude or lower the selection priority of the transmission resource(s) reserved by terminal 1 with transmission beam ID #2 when selecting a transmission resource for transmission beam #ID 1. Here, for example, the transmission resource reservation information of the terminal 1 can be secured through a control signal transmitted together in the slot(s) in which the terminal 1 transmits a signal for beam measurement based on beam sweeping.

[0348] For example, the above [Proposal #06] can be applied in combination with other proposal(s) to the extent that the actions of the disclosure do not conflict.

[0349] [Proposal #07]

[0350] According to one embodiment of the present disclosure, in a method for managing a beam by a terminal, a method may be provided for triggering a beam failure indication (e.g., BFI; Beam Failure Indication) based on a discontinuous transmission (e.g., DTX) determination for a beam reporting resource.

[0351] Here, the terminal may not consider the decision of discontinuous transmission (e.g., DTX) of feedback resources (e.g., terminal-to-terminal physical feedback channel resources (e.g., PSFCH resources)) for feedback operation (e.g., HARQ operation) in the beam failure indication (e.g., BFI) trigger process.

[0352] Here, the terminal can determine whether to transmit the beam report resource based on the reception result and / or reception sensitivity for the beam report resource, and a case where the terminal determines non-transmission here can be named a discontinuous transmission (e.g., DTX) determination.

[0353] Here, the terminal can determine beam failure detection (e.g., BFD; Beam Failure Detection) when a beam failure indication (e.g., BFI) occurs a certain number of times or more, and perform a beam failure recovery (e.g., BFR; Beam Failure Recovery) procedure.

[0354] Here, for example, the beam reporting resource may be transmitted in the form of a terminal-to-terminal physical feedback channel (e.g., PSFCH).

[0355] In a next-generation communication system according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, assuming that a terminal performs terminal-to-terminal communication (e.g., SL communication), when the terminal performs multi-beam-based terminal-to-terminal communication (e.g., SL communication), the terminal may transmit a reference signal for beam measurement and / or a resource for beam reporting for beam management. For example, a transmitting terminal may transmit a reference signal for beam measurement, and a receiving terminal may perform beam measurement with the reference signal for beam measurement and then transmit feedback with a corresponding resource for beam reporting.

[0356] Here, the terminal can trigger a beam failure indication (e.g., BFI) for the purpose of beam management. For example, the terminal can trigger a beam failure indication (e.g., BFI) based on a discontinuous transmission (e.g., DTX) determination for a beam reporting resource. For example, when the beam reporting resource is transmitted in the form of a terminal-to-terminal physical feedback channel (e.g., PFSCH), if the number of (continuous) discontinuous transmissions (e.g., DTX) of the beam reporting terminal-to-terminal physical feedback channel (e.g., PSFCH) exceeds a reference value (or threshold value), a beam failure indication (e.g., BFI) can be triggered.

[0357] Here, for example, the terminal may only utilize discontinuous transmission (e.g., DTX) on the terminal-to-terminal physical feedback channel (e.g., PSFCH) for beam reporting as a beam failure indication (e.g., BFI) trigger criterion, and may not reflect discontinuous transmission (e.g., DTX) on the terminal-to-terminal physical feedback channel (e.g., PSFCH) for feedback (e.g., HARQ feedback) operation.

[0358] Here, for example, the terminal can determine beam failure detection (e.g., BFD) and perform a beam failure recovery (e.g., BFR) procedure when a beam failure indication (e.g., BFI) occurs a certain number of times or more. When the proposed method of the present disclosure is applied, the terminal can independently perform radio link failure (e.g., RLF; Radio Link Failure) determination for feedback (e.g., HARQ feedback) management and beam failure detection determination for beam management, and can perform a link / beam recovery procedure appropriate for each event.

[0359] For example, the above [Proposal #07] can be applied in combination with other proposal(s) to the extent that the operation of the disclosure does not conflict.

[0360] [Proposal #08]

[0361] According to one embodiment of the present disclosure, in a method for managing a beam by a terminal, when selecting a transmission resource for transmitting data and / or reference signals having a specific priority (hereinafter, priority P1) using a specific beam (hereinafter, first beam), a method for excluding candidate transmission resource(s) that satisfy one or more of the following conditions(s) within a set of candidate transmission resources may be provided.

[0362] 1. When a specific beam (hereinafter referred to as a second beam) different from the first beam is (pre-)configured, and a priority (hereinafter referred to as priority P2) corresponding to the second beam is higher than P1. Here, for example, a beam for a specific slot(s) within a resource pool may be (pre-)configured, and / or priority information for data and / or reference signals that may utilize the beam may also be (pre-)configured.

[0363] In a next-generation communication system according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, assuming that a terminal performs terminal-to-terminal communication (e.g., SL communication), when the terminal performs multi-beam-based terminal-to-terminal communication (e.g., SL communication), the terminal may transmit a reference signal for beam measurement and / or a resource for beam reporting for beam management. For example, a transmitting terminal may transmit a reference signal for beam measurement, and a receiving terminal may perform beam measurement with the reference signal for beam measurement and then transmit feedback with a corresponding resource for beam reporting.

[0364] Here, when a reference signal for beam measurement is transmitted within a shared resource pool, there may be restrictions on the beam direction in the resource(s) to which the beam measurement reference signal is transmitted. For example, specific resource(s) within the shared resource pool may be (pre-)configured, and the terminal may need to transmit a reference signal for beam measurement in a pre-arranged beam direction in the specific resource(s), wherein the specific slot(s) exist within the shared resource pool and thus may need to be able to be shared for transmitting other types of data and / or reference signals. Here, when selecting a transmission resource for the data and / or reference signal, restrictions on the (pre-)configured beam for the specific resource(s) may need to be taken into consideration.

[0365] Here, for example, if the priority of the data and / or reference signal that the terminal wants to transmit is P1, and the priority of the (pre-)configured reference signal for beam measurement is P2, if P1 is higher than P2, the terminal can ignore the (pre-)configuration and perform transmission using a beam that matches the data and / or reference signal. In this case, transmission of the reference signal for beam measurement may be omitted.

[0366] Or, for example, if the beam (hereinafter, the first beam) to be transmitted with the data and / or reference signal is the same as the (pre-)configured beam (hereinafter, the second beam), the resource may still be utilized as a candidate resource for transmitting the data and / or reference signal. Here, if P1 is lower than P2 and the first beam and the second beam are different, the terminal may give priority to transmitting the reference signal for beam measurement whose beam direction is (pre-)configured, and may exclude the specific resource(s) from the candidate transmission resources for the data and / or reference signal.

[0367] For example, the above [Proposal #08] can be applied in combination with other proposal(s) to the extent that the actions of the disclosure do not conflict.

[0368] [Proposal #09]

[0369] According to one embodiment of the present disclosure, in a method of reporting a beam by a terminal, a method of reporting whether or not a beam report satisfies a (pre-)set condition may be provided.

[0370] Here, for example, the (pre-)set condition may include that the reception strength exceeds a certain threshold.

[0371] Here, information on whether the above (pre-)set conditions are met can be transmitted by being included in the payload of the beam reporting resource.

[0372] In a next-generation communication system according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, assuming that a terminal performs terminal-to-terminal communication (e.g., SL communication), when the terminal performs multi-beam-based terminal-to-terminal communication (e.g., SL communication), the terminal may transmit a reference signal for beam measurement and / or a resource for beam reporting for beam management. For example, a transmitting terminal may transmit a reference signal for beam measurement, and a receiving terminal may perform beam measurement with the reference signal for beam measurement and then transmit feedback with a corresponding beam reporting resource. Here, for example, the terminal may perform beam reporting when a measurement result for the reference signal for beam measurement satisfies a certain condition.

[0373] For example, the terminal may perform beam reporting when the reference signal reception power (e.g., RSRP) for the reference signal for beam measurement exceeds a (pre-)configured threshold. Here, if the reference signal reception power (e.g., RSRP) of all reference signals for beam measurement does not exceed the threshold, the terminal may report a beam with the highest reference signal reception power (e.g., RSRP) among the reference signals for beam measurement. Here, the terminal may distinguish and report whether the beam it reports is a report for a beam that has achieved the reference signal reception power (e.g., RSRP) threshold or a report for a beam selected in a BE (best effort) manner.

[0374] Therefore, for example, in the present disclosure, a method is proposed in which, in a method of beam reporting by a terminal, information is reported together with whether or not a beam report satisfies a (pre-)configured condition. Here, for example, the (pre-)configured condition may include that the reception intensity exceeds a certain threshold. Here, information on whether or not the (pre-)configured condition is satisfied may be included in the payload of a resource for beam reporting and transmitted.

[0375] For example, the above [Proposal #09] can be applied in combination with other proposal(s) to the extent that the actions of the disclosure do not conflict.

[0376] The various methods proposed above can be applied to the devices described below. First, the processor (202) of the receiving terminal can set at least one partial bandwidth (e.g., BWP). And, the processor (202) of the receiving terminal can control the transceiver (206) of the receiving terminal to receive a physical channel related to terminal-to-terminal communication (e.g., SL communication) and / or a reference signal related to terminal-to-terminal communication (e.g., SL communication) from the transmitting terminal on at least one bandwidth (e.g., BWP).

[0377] In FR2, during terminal-to-terminal communication (e.g., SL communication), the terminal may perform transmission and / or reception operations based on multiple panels and / or beam directions. Here, a spatial setting including the beam-related information or a spatial domain transmission / reception filter needs to be defined. The transmitting terminal may transmit a reference signal for beam measurement in the form of a beam sweep (e.g., transmitting the same signal using all (or some) possible transmission beams by changing the beam) to determine a beam to be transmitted to the receiving terminal, and the receiving terminal that receives the reference signal may transmit a measurement report related to the beam used for transmitting the received signal to the transmitting terminal.

[0378] According to one embodiment of the present disclosure, a terminal receives a measurement report of a terminal that receives a reference signal for beam measurement from another terminal and then transmits a measurement report thereon, and if the reception strength of the measurement report is above a certain level, the terminal can exclude the reserved resources of the other terminal corresponding to the beam for which the measurement report was received from candidate resources for its own transmission resource selection.

[0379] According to various embodiments of the present disclosure, the effect of enabling smooth wireless communication can be achieved by preventing resources that may cause collisions from being selected in the resource selection procedure of a receiving terminal based on beam reporting.

[0380] FIG. 16 illustrates a procedure that may be performed by a first device according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. The embodiment of FIG. 16 may be combined with various embodiments of the present disclosure.

[0381] Referring to FIG. 16, in step S1610, the first device may receive feedback from the second device regarding a second beam used by the third device for transmission based on the first beam. [0388] For example, the feedback may include information regarding whether the reference signal reception power for the second beam exceeds a threshold value.

[0389] For example, the third beam used for transmitting the feedback may be in a one-to-one correspondence with the second beam.

[0396] For example, the feedback may be a beam report for a reference signal associated with the second beam.

[0397] For example, the feedback may be transmitted by the second device based on a second resource associated with a third beam corresponding to the second beam.

In step S1730, the second device may receive, from the third device, information about a first resource associated with a third beam corresponding to the second beam. For example, information about the first resource may be received by the first device, and the first resource may be excluded from a candidate resource set for resource selection at the first device.

And, the processor (202) of the second device (200) can control the transceiver (206) to receive information about a first resource related to a third beam corresponding to the second beam from the third device (300). For example, the information about the first resource can be received by the first device (100), and the first resource can be excluded from a set of candidate resources for resource selection in the first device (100).

[0433] FIG. 20 illustrates a signal processing circuit for a transmission signal according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. The embodiment of FIG. 20 may be combined with various embodiments of the present disclosure.

Although not limited thereto, the operations / functions of FIG. 20 may be performed in the processor (102, 202) and / or the transceiver (106, 206) of FIG. 19. The hardware elements of FIG. 20 may be implemented in the processor (102, 202) and / or the transceiver (106, 206) of FIG. 19. For example, blocks 1010 to 1060 may be implemented in the processor (102, 202) of FIG. 19. Additionally, blocks 1010 to 1050 may be implemented in the processor (102, 202) of FIG. 19, and block 1060 may be implemented in the transceiver (106, 206) of FIG. 19.

[0435] The codeword can be converted into a wireless signal through the signal processing circuit (1000) of FIG. 20. Here, the codeword is an encoded bit sequence of an information block. The information block can include a transport block (e.g., an UL-SCH transport block, a DL-SCH transport block). The wireless signal can be transmitted through various physical channels (e.g., a PUSCH or a PDSCH).

[0436] Specifically, the codeword can be converted into a bit sequence scrambled by a scrambler (1010). The scramble sequence used for scrambling is generated based on an initialization value, and the initialization value may include ID information of the wireless device, etc. The scrambled bit sequence can be modulated into a modulation symbol sequence by a modulator (1020). The modulation method may include pi / 2-BPSK (pi / 2-Binary Phase Shift Keying), m-PSK (m-Phase Shift Keying), m-QAM (m-Quadrature Amplitude Modulation), etc. The complex modulation symbol sequence can be mapped to one or more transmission layers by a layer mapper (1030). The modulation symbols of each transmission layer can be mapped to the corresponding antenna port(s) by a precoder (1040) (precoding). The output z of the precoder (1040) can be obtained by multiplying the output y of the layer mapper (1030) by a precoding matrix W of N*M. Here, N is the number of antenna ports, and M is the number of transmission layers. Here, the precoder (1040) can perform precoding after performing transform precoding (e.g., DFT transform) on complex modulation symbols. In addition, the precoder (1040) can perform precoding without performing transform precoding.

[0437] The resource mapper (1050) can map modulation symbols of each antenna port to time-frequency resources. The time-frequency resources can include multiple symbols (e.g., CP-OFDMA symbols, DFT-s-OFDMA symbols) in the time domain and multiple subcarriers in the frequency domain. The signal generator (1060) generates a wireless signal from the mapped modulation symbols, and the generated wireless signal can be transmitted to another device through each antenna. To this end, the signal generator (1060) can include an Inverse Fast Fourier Transform (IFFT) module, a Cyclic Prefix (CP) inserter, a Digital-to-Analog Converter (DAC), a frequency uplink converter, etc.

[0438] The signal processing process for receiving signals in a wireless device can be configured in reverse order of the signal processing process (1010 to 1060) of FIG. 20. For example, a wireless device (e.g., 100, 200 of FIG. 19) can receive wireless signals from the outside through an antenna port / transceiver. The received wireless signals can be converted into baseband signals through a signal restorer. For this purpose, the signal restorer can include a frequency downlink converter, an analog-to-digital converter (ADC), a CP remover, and a fast Fourier transform (FFT) module. Thereafter, the baseband signal can be restored to a codeword through a resource demapper process, a postcoding process, a demodulation process, and a descrambling process. The codewords can be restored to the original information blocks through decoding. Accordingly, a signal processing circuit (not shown) for a received signal may include a signal restorer, a resource de-mapper, a postcoder, a demodulator, a de-scrambler, and a decoder.
