Description

[0001] Name of the invention

[0002] Device for dismantling injectors of internal combustion engines.

[0003] Field of technology

[0004] The invention relates to means for repair and maintenance of internal combustion engines, in particular, marine engines.

[0005] Prior art

[0006] Known devices for dismantling stuck parts in the form of copper punches, in which mechanical action on the part using an impact tool does not allow achieving the desired result, due to insufficient force action on the injector, due to difficult access to the place where dismantling work is performed. All this leads to the need for unscheduled engine maintenance by replacing the defective engine cylinder cover with a spare one.

[0007] A method of dismantling burnt-out injectors by using grinding machines and gas cutters is known. This method is used in the conditions of the manufacturing plant, and it is impossible to implement it in the conditions of the place of use of the engine, due to the lack of access to the dismantled elements.

[0008] A stand for disassembling and assembling Common Rail injectors DieselPRO is known (htps: / / shop.dieselpro.org / product / stapel-dlya-razborki-forsunok-common-rail / ), consisting of a stand, a frame, a rotary mechanism for access to the electromagnet and the control valve or nozzle of the injector, two platforms with screw clamps for fastening the injector and a screw retainer of the nozzle nozzle.

[0009] The disadvantage of this device is the massiveness of the frame structure, the platform with screw clamps installed on top, which interferes with the process of disassembling and assembling the injectors, the injector mounting system consists of a large number of fasteners, which leads to an increase in the process time. No technical solution similar to the proposed one has been identified from the state of the art.

[0010] Disclosure of invention

[0011] The present invention is based on the task of creating a simple, effective device for dismantling injectors of internal combustion engines, the design of which would ensure the rapid dismantling of fuel injectors from the cylinder head of internal combustion engines, including in the event of a fuel injector becoming pinched by soot.

[0012] The stated problem is solved in a device for dismantling internal combustion engine injectors, comprising a rigid support made in the form of an open box with a base, two side walls, an upper cover having at least two openings at the edges, wherein the plane of the upper cover of the support is oriented and fixed perpendicular to the axis of the fuel injector, and in the middle of this box a flange is placed, which is a structural component of the injector and also has at least two openings at the edges, and above the upper cover a freely placed bar with the possibility of vertical movement has at least two openings at the edges, wherein all the above-mentioned openings are located coaxially and anchor bolts with nuts at the ends are placed in these openings, and in the central part of the support base there is a technological cutout intended for centering the device relative to the fuel injector during its installation on the cylinder cover, in addition,in the central part of the top cover, under the above-mentioned bar on the surface of the cover, coaxially with the nozzle, a high-pressure hydraulic jack is installed and fixed.

[0013] Thus, the device for dismantling injectors of internal combustion engines, made according to the present invention, provides the possibility of complete disassembly, assembly and repair of the injector, its installation in the cylinder cover of the internal combustion engine in a short time, under any conditions, eliminates the possibility of damage to the injector,

[0014] The proposed device ensures fast and high-quality extraction of the injector from the cylinder head of an internal combustion engine and in case of pinching of the fuel injector by soot.

[0015] The proposed device has a fairly simple, reliable, compact design, very convenient to use.

[0016] A specific embodiment of the present invention is described below with reference to the accompanying drawing.

[0017] Brief description of the drawing.

[0018] Fig. 1 schematically depicts a device for dismantling injectors of internal combustion engines, made according to the present invention. General view.

[0019] The best embodiment of the invention

[0020] The device for dismantling injectors of internal combustion engines comprises a rigid support 1 made in the form of an open box having two side walls 2, an upper cover 3 with two openings 4 located along the edges of the cover 3. The base 5 of the support 1 in the central part has a technological cutout 6 intended for centering the device relative to the fuel injector 7 with a threaded connection 8, during its installation on the cylinder cover 9. The upper cover 3 of the support 1 is oriented and fixed so that its plane is perpendicular to the axis of the fuel injector 7. In the central part of the upper cover 3 on its surface coaxially with the injector 7, a high-pressure hydraulic jack 10 is installed and fixed.Above the jack 10, parallel to the upper cover of the support 3, a bar 11 is freely positioned, with the possibility of vertical movement, with holes 12 at the edges, which are made coaxially with the holes 4 in the upper cover 3 and the holes 13, which are made in the flange 14, which is a structural component of the injector 7. In the holes 4, 12, 13, anchor bolts 15 with nuts 16 at the ends are placed. The diameters of the holes 4, 12, 13 must correspond to the diameter of the anchor bolts 15. The cover 9 of the cylinder has 2 holes 17, which are used to secure the injector 7 using studs (not indicated in the drawing).

[0021] The device for dismantling injectors of internal combustion engines works as follows.

[0022] Disconnect the high-pressure fuel pipe from the threaded connection 8 of the injector 7 of the marine internal combustion engine. Unscrew the two studs (not shown in the drawing) holding the fuel injector 7 in the housing of the cylinder cover 9 so as to release two holes 17. Install the rigid support 1 close to the fuel injector 7. Install and secure the hydraulic jack on the upper cover 3 of the support 1. 10, install the bar 11. Place the anchor bolts 15 through the holes 12 on the sides of the movable bar 11. Then install these anchor bolts 15 in the holes 4 and 13, screw the nuts 16 from below and from above onto each of the anchor bolts 15. Using a wrench, tighten the anchor bolts 15 with the fuel injector 7 and the bar 11. Feed the working fluid into the jack 10. The working cylinder of the jack 10, moving upward, exerts pressure on the bar 11, moving it upward. The upward movement of the bar 11 sets the anchor bolts 15 in motion upward, which in turn pull the fuel injector 7. In this case, the fuel injector 7 is removed, including in the event of its being pinched by soot in the technological gap of the cylinder cover 9 of the internal combustion engine.

[0023] A prototype of the proposed device was manufactured and successfully passed tests.

[0024] The proposed technical solution will significantly reduce the time for extracting the fuel injector of a marine internal combustion engine from the engine cylinder cover, including in the event of the fuel injector being pinched by soot, and prevents the need to replace the engine cylinder cover. This reduces the financial costs of ship owners during repair work in the port by reducing the hours of payment for a repair permit and being in the port.

[0025] Industrial applicability The proposed device can be most successfully used in emergency repairs to extract fuel injectors from the cylinder head body, in particular, marine internal combustion engines associated with dismantling injectors fused to the housings. When the seal between the fuel injector of a marine internal combustion engine and the engine cylinder head is damaged, the technological gap between the fuel injector of a marine internal combustion engine and the cylinder head is coked with soot.

[0026] The process of removing a forensic internal combustion engine fuel injector from the engine cylinder head becomes difficult due to the high friction forces between the soot and the fuel injector.
