[0001] The present invention relates to a refrigeration unit for cold rooms and walk-in chambers that store products which require refrigeration . More speci fically, the present invention discloses a refrigeration unit preferably installed at the roof of cold rooms and walk-in chambers located, for example , in supermarkets , pharmacies , and other places that need to refrigerate products , with articulated rods which simpli fy the maintenance operation of said refrigeration unit .BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[0002] The components inside a refrigeration unit , for example , evaporator, condenser , and compressor, need to be accessed with a certain frequency so that corrective and preventive maintenance operations are carried out .
[0003] Currently, the maintenance operation of these components is a time-consuming and complicated activity, as it is necessary to disassemble the refrigeration unit so that a person has access to the interior of said unit , where the components are .
[0004] Consequently, due to the great amount of time loss to open the refrigeration unit , many maintenance operations are performed inappropriately, and, thus , the useful li fe of the refrigeration unit components decreases , generating financial losses .
[0005] Therefore , it is observed that there is a need in the field to provide a solution that allows an easy maintenance of the components of the refrigeration unit .SUMMARY
[0006] The obj ective of the present invention is to provide a refrigeration unit with articulated rods that avoids the drawbacks of the prior art .
[0007] This obj ective is achieved by means of a refrigeration unit , comprising a bottom cold side , an upper hot side and an insulation between said hot and cold sides ; said cold side comprising at least two cold side fans mounted on a base plate and at least two evaporators disposed on opposite sides of the bottom cold side ; a structural support disposed below the insulation; side plates disposed above the base plate , each side plate further disposed transversally between the evaporators , wherein between the base plate and the side plates there are at least two articulated rods .
[0008] Additionally, the refrigeration unit according to the present invention consists of the fact that the base plate comprises lower receiving portions , and each of the at least two articulated rods comprises a lower intermediated portion mounted to one of the lower receiving portions by means of a screw .
[0009] In addition, the refrigeration unit according to the present invention consists of the fact that the side plates comprise upper receiving portions , and each of the at least two articulated rods comprises an upper intermediated portion mounted to one of the upper receiving portions by means of a screw .
[0010] Further, the refrigeration unit according to the present invention consists of the fact that the lower intermediate portion and the upper intermediate portion are j oined by an articulation, said articulation provided inthe upper end of the lower intermediate portion and in the lower end of the upper intermediate portion .
[0011] The advantage of the present invention lies in the fact that the articulated rods between the plate and the structural support allow to open the refrigeration unit without having to disassemble it . Hence , by using such articulated rods , the maintenance operation of the refrigeration unit becomes much simpler and faster .BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
[0012] The obj ectives and advantages of the present invention will become clearer through the following detailed description of the examples and non- limiting drawings presented at the end of this document :

[0017] Figure 5 illustrates another zoomed view of the refrigeration unit in an opened state according to the present invention .DETAILED DESCRIPTION
[0018] Figure 1 illustrates a perspective view of the refrigeration unit 100 in a closed state according to the present invention. This refrigeration unit 100 is preferably installed at the roof of cold rooms and walk-in chambers located, for example, in supermarkets, pharmacies, and other places that need to refrigerate products. According to Figure 1, said refrigeration unit 100 comprises a bottom cold side 200 and an upper hot side 300. Preferably, the refrigeration unit 100 is installed at the roof in a way that the cold side 200 remains inside the cold room or walk-in chamber and the hot side 300 remains outside .
[0019] Figure 2 illustrates a perspective exploded view of said cold side 200 according to the preferred embodiment of the present invention.
[0020] According to Figure 2, there is an insulation 210. The insulation is disposed between the cold 200 and hot 300 sides.
[0021] Still according to Figure 2, the cold side 200 further comprises a structural support 220 disposed below the insulation 210.
[0022] Further according to Figure 2, the cold side 200 comprises evaporators 230 disposed on opposite sides of the bottom cold side, and side plates 250 disposed above a base plate 240, each side plate 250 further disposed transversally between the evaporators 230. According to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, two evaporators 230 and two side plates 250 are used.
[0023] According to Figure 2, the cold side 200 further comprises cold side fans 240A mounted on the baseplate 240 . According to a preferred embodiment of the present invention two cold side fans 240A are used .
[0024] Figure 3 depicts a perspective view of the refrigeration unit 100 in an opened state according to the present invention, wherein it is possible to see the articulated rods 260 . According to a preferred embodiment of the present invention four articulated rods are used .
