Description

Composite cooling cell jig device

[0001] The present invention relates to a composite cooling cell jig device capable of one-touch storage of battery cells and stable fixation and cooling of battery cells.

[0002] Typically, battery cells are stored in a block-shaped storage compartment with multiple storage compartments formed, covered with a cover, and maintained in an appropriately cooled state.

[0003] The cover part is rotatably installed on the base part where the storage part is formed, and can be fixed by the fixing operation of a screw-type rotating clamp while the battery cell is accommodated in the storage part.

[0004] However, when the rotating clamp is fixed in operation, there is a problem in that the amount of fixed compression is not easily controlled, and thus stable fixation of the battery cell in the stored state is not achieved.

[0005] In addition, there is a problem of reduced durability due to deformation such as warping of the fixing part of the pogo pin when the battery cell is stored.

[0006] One embodiment of the present invention provides a composite cooling cell jig device that enables one-touch storage of battery cells, stable fixation and cooling of battery cells, and improved durability.

[0007] One embodiment of the present invention comprises a base part having a plurality of insertion parts formed therein into which a plurality of battery cells are inserted, a cover part rotatably installed on a side of the base part and covering the insertion parts, a fixing part fixing the cover part to the base part, and a guide block having a pogo pin protruding from an upper portion of a battery cell inserted between the base part and the cover part and fixing the pogo pin to the base part.

[0008] The fixed part may include a hook part protruding from the side of the base part and a toggle clamp installed in the cover part and hooked and fixed to the hook part.

[0009] A fixed plate having multiple temperature measuring units installed can be installed on the side of the base.

[0010] The guide block may include a base block having a first groove formed therein, which protrudes from an upper position of the base portion to the side of the base portion and into which a pogo pin is inserted, and a fixed block that is detachably connected to the base block and has a second groove formed on a side corresponding to the first groove.

[0011] Heat pipes may protrude from the sides of the base and cover.

[0012] The cover portion may include a fixing bracket protruding from one side of the heat pipe in a spaced state, and a fixing ring protruding from the surface of the fixing bracket to fix the heat pipe.

[0013] According to one embodiment of the present invention, it is possible to easily fix and release the base portion and the cover portion storing the battery cell by one-touch operation of the fixing portion of the toggle clamp.

[0014] According to one embodiment of the present invention, it is possible to appropriately form a guide block for fixing a pogo pin to a sufficiently long length, thereby enabling stable installation while preventing the guide block from being twisted.

[0022] Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the attached drawings so that those skilled in the art can easily implement the present invention. However, the present invention may be implemented in various different forms and is not limited to the embodiments described herein. In the drawings, parts irrelevant to the description have been omitted to clearly explain the present invention, and the same reference numerals have been used throughout the specification to refer to identical or similar components.

[0023] FIG. 1 is a perspective view schematically illustrating a state in which a cover portion of a composite cooling cell jig device according to one embodiment of the present invention is rotated from a base portion, FIG. 2 is a front view schematically illustrating the composite cooling cell jig device of FIG. 1, FIG. 3 is a side view schematically illustrating the composite cooling cell jig device of FIG. 1, and FIG. 4 is a plan view schematically illustrating the composite cooling cell jig device of FIG. 1.

[0024] As illustrated in FIGS. 1 to 4, a composite cooling cell jig device (100) according to one embodiment of the present invention includes a base portion (10) having a plurality of first insertion portions (13) formed therein into which a plurality of battery cells (11) are inserted, a cover portion (30) that is rotatably installed on a side of the base portion (10) and covers the first insertion portions (13), a fixing portion (40) that fixes the cover portion (30) to the base portion (10), and a guide block (70) that has a pogo pin (71) protruding from an upper portion of a battery cell (11) inserted into the base portion (10) and fixes the pogo pin (71) to the base portion (10).

[0025] The base part (10) is formed with a first insertion part (13) in which a plurality of battery cells (11) are stored, and can be installed to stably insert the battery cells (11) into the first insertion part (13) by means of a cover part (30) described later.

[0026] The base portion (10) is a block shape having a roughly rectangular parallelepiped shape, and a first insertion portion (13) into which each of a plurality of battery cells (11) is inserted can be formed on one side.

[0027] The first insertion portion (13) is formed in multiple pieces on the side surface of the base portion (10), and can be formed in a state of being inserted into the inner surface of the base portion (10) so that a part of the side surface of the battery cell (11) is inserted. This first insertion portion (13) is formed as an insertion groove into which a part of the side surface of the battery cell is inserted, and the first insertion portion and the first insertion groove use the same reference number hereinafter.

[0028] The first insertion groove (13) can be formed on the inner surface of the base portion (10) in a roughly semicircular groove shape with a length corresponding to the length of the battery cells (11) so that one side of each of the plurality of battery cells (11) can be inserted into the side of the base portion (10).

[0029] A heat pipe (20) can be protruded from the base (10) so that the battery cell (11) can be cooled to an appropriate temperature while being inserted.

[0030] Heat pipes (20) can be installed in a protruding state so as to protrude in multiple numbers from the side of the base portion (10) to properly cool the battery cells (11).

[0031] Meanwhile, a cover part (30) can be installed rotatably on the base part (10).

[0032] The cover part (30) is installed rotatably on one side of the base part (10), and can be installed rotatably openable and closed on the base part (10) so that a plurality of battery cells (11) stored in the base part (10) can be stably stored.

[0033] The cover part (30) is installed in the same or similar shape as the base part (10), and can be installed on the side of the base part (10) to be able to be rotated and opened by a hinge or the like.

[0034] The cover part (30) has a block shape of approximately a rectangular parallelepiped, and a second insertion part (33) into which each of a plurality of battery cells (11) is inserted can be formed on one side.

[0035] This second insertion portion (33) is formed as an insertion groove into which a part of the side of the battery cell is inserted. Hereinafter, the second insertion portion and the second insertion groove use the same reference number.

[0036] The second insertion groove (33) can be formed on the inner surface of the cover portion (30) in a roughly semicircular groove shape with a length corresponding to the length of the battery cells (11) so that different sides of each of the plurality of battery cells (11) can be inserted into the side of the cover portion (30).

[0037] That is, when the cover part (30) is rotated to cover the base part (10), the first insertion groove (13) formed in the base part (10) and the second insertion groove (33) formed in the cover part (30) accommodate the battery cell (11) together, thereby enabling stable storage of the battery cell (11).

[0038] Meanwhile, the cover part (30) can be fixed to the base part (10) by a fixing part (40).

[0039] The fixed part (40) can be selectively fixed to the cover part (30) so that it can be opened and closed on the base part (10).

[0040] To be more specific, the fixed part (40) may include a hook part (41) protruding from the side of the base part (10) and a toggle clamp (43) installed in the cover part (30) and hooked and fixed to the hook part (41).

[0041] The catch (41) is installed in a protruding state on the side of the base (10), and the toggle clamp (43) can be installed to be selectively caught and fixed.

[0042] That is, the hook portion (41) protrudes from the side of the base portion (10) and can be protruded to enable selective hook fixation by the hook fixation of the toggle clamp (43). For this purpose, it is also possible for a hook-shaped protrusion to be formed on the hook portion (41).

[0043] The toggle clamp (43) is installed on the side corresponding to the catch (41) on the side of the cover part (30), and can be selectively caught and fixed on the catch (41) while the cover part (30) is closed to the base part (10).

[0044] The toggle clamp (43) is provided with a clamp ring that is selectively fixed to the catch (41), so that selective fixation to the catch (41) is possible.

[0045] In this way, the cover part (30) is fixed to the base part (10) by one-touch operation of the toggle clamp (43), so that easier fixation of the cover part (30) in a closed state is possible.

[0046] Accordingly, the closing compression amount of the toggle clamp (43) can be variably adjusted, enabling the cover portion (30) to be more stably fixed to the toggle clamp (43) of the base portion (10). In addition, the convenience of the operator who fixes the cover portion (30) to the base portion (10) can be improved by the one-touch locking and fixing operation of the toggle clamp (43).

[0047] Meanwhile, a fixing plate (50) for fixing the composite cooling cell jig device (100) of the present embodiment to a fixed position can be installed on the side of the base portion (10).

[0048] The fixed plate (50) is installed at the rear side of the base portion (10) and can be fixed at the fixed position by a predetermined fastening member.

[0049] A plurality of temperature measuring units (60) can be installed on this fixed plate (50).

[0050] The temperature measuring unit (60) can be applied as a thermocouple (TC) in this embodiment.

[0051] These temperature measuring units (60) are installed in multiple numbers on opposite sides of a plurality of battery cells (11) on a fixed plate (50), and can be installed to measure the temperature of each of the plurality of battery cells (11) to appropriately maintain the operating stability of the battery cells.

[0052] The measurement length of the battery cell (11) of the temperature measuring unit (60) can be applied as approximately 34 mm, and it is also possible to change to an appropriate length by changing the standard specifications.

[0053] Meanwhile, a pogo pin (71) may protrude from the upper portion of the battery cell (11) inserted between the base portion (10) and the cover portion (30).

[0054] These pogo pins (71) can be fixed by a guide block (70) while protruding from the upper part of the battery cell (11).

[0055] FIG. 5 is a cross-sectional perspective view schematically illustrating a state in which a pogo pin according to one embodiment of the present invention is fixed by a guide block.

[0056] As shown in part B of FIG. 5, the guide block (70) may include a base block (72) formed with a first groove (72a) that protrudes from the upper position of the base part (10) to the side of the base part (10) and into which a pogo pin (71) is inserted, and a fixed block (74) that is detachably coupled to the base block (72) and has a second groove (74a) formed on the side corresponding to the first groove (72a).

[0057] The base block (72) may be formed with a first groove (72a) on the surface where the pogo pin (71) is positioned by protruding from the side of the base portion (10).

[0058] The first groove (72a) is formed to allow sufficient insertion and fixation of the pogo pin (71), and may be formed in an approximately semicircular shape. Of course, the first groove (72a) is not limited to a semicircular shape, and may be appropriately changed and applied to a predetermined shape, such as a polygonal shape.

[0059] A fixed block (74) can be detachably attached to this base block (72).

[0060] The fixed block (74) can be detachably connected to the base block (72) with the pogo pin (71) positioned between the fixed block (74) and the base block (72).

[0061] A second groove (74a) into which a portion of the side of the pogo pin (71) is inserted can be formed on the side of the fixed block (74).

[0062] The second groove (74a) can be formed in the vertical direction of the fixed block (74) with the same or similar size and shape as the first groove (72a).

[0063] Accordingly, the fixed block (74) is connected to the base block (72) with the pogo pin (71) in between, enabling stable fixation of the pogo pin (71).

[0064] These guide blocks (70) are composed of a base block (72) and a fixed block (74), and the length between which the pogo pins (71) are fixed can be increased sufficiently to prevent distortion in the installed state.

[0065] Meanwhile, a heat pipe (20) may protrude from the side of the base portion (10) and the cover portion (30).

[0066] The heat pipe (20) protrudes from each side of the base portion (10) and the cover portion (30), so that it is possible to cool the battery cell (11) so as to maintain an appropriate temperature while it is housed inside the base portion (10) and the cover portion (30).

[0067] A plurality of heat pipes (20) may be protruded from each side of the base portion (10) and the cover portion (30). In this embodiment, two heat pipes (20) are exemplarily described as protruding from each side of the base portion (10) and the cover portion (30), but this is not necessarily limited to this and an appropriate number of heat pipes may be installed to improve cooling performance.

[0068] FIG. 6 is a perspective view schematically illustrating a state in which a cover portion of a composite cooling cell jig device according to one embodiment of the present invention is closed to a base portion, and a heat pipe is fixed to a fixing bracket by a fixing ring.

[0069] As shown in part A of FIG. 6, a fixing bracket (81) and a fixing ring (83) for fixing the heat pipe (20) can be installed in the cover part (30).

[0070] The fixed bracket (81) can be installed in a state where one side is connected to the side of the cover part (30) and protrudes away from the side of the heat pipe (20).

[0071] That is, the fixed bracket (81) can be installed in a state in which a portion in the longitudinal direction is bent so as to support the side of a plurality of heat pipes (20) protruding from the side of the cover portion (30).

[0072] A fixing ring (83) for fixing the heat pipe (20) may protrude from this fixing bracket (81).

[0073] The fixed ring (83) protrudes from the surface of the fixed bracket (81) so that the heat pipe (20) can be inserted inside, thereby stably supporting the protruding state of the heat pipe (20).

[0074] The fixing rings (83) may protrude in multiple numbers from the surface of the fixing bracket (81) corresponding to the number of heat pipes (20). That is, the fixing rings (83) may protrude in two numbers corresponding to the number of heat pipes (20) protruding in two numbers from the side of the cover portion (30).

[0075] As described above, the composite cooling cell jig device (100) of the present embodiment can easily fix and release the base portion (10) and the cover portion (30) storing the battery cell (11) by one-touch operation of the fixing portion (40) of the toggle clamp.

[0076] In addition, it is possible to appropriately form a guide block (70) that secures the pogo pin (71) with a sufficient length, so that stable installation is possible while preventing the guide block (70) from being twisted.

[0077] Although the preferred embodiments of the present invention have been described above, the present invention is not limited thereto, and various modifications can be made within the scope of the claims, the detailed description of the invention, and the attached drawings, and it is obvious that this also falls within the scope of the present invention.
