Description

[0001] Description

[0002] A CHIMNEY FAN STRUCTURE FOR DOMESTIC / INDUSTRIAL PURPOSES

[0003] Field of the Invention

[0004] The present invention relates to fans mounted on roofs, vehicles, work machines and domestic / industrial equipment operating under atmospheric conditions.

[0005] In particular, the present invention relates to the structure of chimney fans in industrial facilities, which provides the exhaust of dirty air from indoors to the outdoors and at the same time provides protection against external conditions.

[0006] State of the Art

[0007] Nowadays, industrial chimney fans: used in industrial plants, factories and large commercial buildings, are used to exhaust large volumes of polluted air or to circulate air within the building. These fans may be powered by large motors and can direct larger volumes. Industrial chimney fans are important for emission control, ventilation and indoor temperature regulation of factory processes. Chimney fans allow smoke and pollutant gases to be expelled and protect indoor air quality. These fans play an important role in a variety of applications such as fire safety, energy efficiency and ventilation systems. Furthermore, chimney fans can differ in design and functionality, so there are various models available according to the intended use and building needs.

[0008] Also in the state of the art, rain-proof industrial chimney fans are fans with special designs that prevent rainwater from entering from the outside environment in industrial plants or buildings. These fans ensure efficient operation even when working outdoors under the influence of rain or other weather conditions These fans have a specially designed waterproof cover on the top. This cover protects the inside of the fan while preventing rainwater from entering the fan.

[0009] Patent document numbered EP0705983, titled "Roof fan” in the state of the art, relates to a fan adapted to be placed on the roof of a building. Roof fans that blow mainly vertically are well known, but fans with an essentially horizontal, radial output pattern are also commercially available. The fan according to the invention is now characterized in that the fan is configured such that the air blown out has both a substantial horizontal and a substantial vertical directional component. Due to the displacement angle of the outgoing air, the ambient air is transported by the method called 'induction'. For example, airflow will be created that travels from top to bottom in the direction of the fan, which is then deflected and carried by the obliquely blown airflow. Furthermore, an airflow occurring across the roof in the direction of the fan will be deflected near the fan and then carried in the direction of the obliquely blown airflow.

[0010] Patent document numbered CN212057643 (U) with class F24F7 / 025, titled "Waterproof structure of building roof fan port", also in the state of the art, discloses the waterproof structure of a building roof fan opening. The ventilation device comprises a fan and a frame. The fan is movably mounted on the frame. The ventilation device also comprises a connecting mechanism. A load-bearing plate is movably mounted on the top of the frame, and water retaining wings are hinged between the interior. The force acting on the connecting mechanism is applied through the walls of two adjacent sides of the frame and the load-bearing plate. Thus, multiple water retaining wings can continue to rotate 90-160 degrees simultaneously.

[0011] The present invention provides a waterproof structure of a building's roof fan opening. The angles of the water retaining wings can be adjusted via the connection mechanism. On rainy days, the amount of air intake and waterproofing of the roof fan can be adjusted according to the amount of precipitation. Aging of the inner rubber ring can be reduced. This prevents the rubber ring from coming into direct contact with air and aging too quickly after the outer waterproof coating has aged and separated. Roof water leakage can be prevented. The structure is simple, the roof waterproof structure can be suitable for various roof fans. The economic benefits increase and meanwhile manufacturers can easily manufacture and install the roof waterproof structure.

[0012] Still, the document numbered CN112503009 (A) relates to the light, efficient, energysaving and explosion-proof roof fan system for the Nuclear power plant steam engine room. Again, patent document numbered LIS2012178357 (A1 ) relates to a solar fan positioned inside new and / or existing roof vents.

[0013] Again, the invention numbered NL192631 , titled “dakventilator" is a roof fan with a radial impeller driven by a drive motor, preferably of vertical axis and having a housing containing the radial impeller and the drive motor, capable of being attached to the roof or a corresponding wall of the space to be ventilated by means of a base, where the cross-section is an area enclosing a plate-like base body, the edge of a rectangle or square, which forms at least the connecting part to the foot, and the invention has a radial outlet having an inlet opening on the bottom-facing side as well as two outlet openings on opposite rectangular sides of the housing. These openings direct the flow of transport media away from the vicinity of the drive motor. The two front sides of the housing, which have exit openings of the housing, can be opened; in the operating state of the fan, the radial impeller is closed from the outside and the front sides of the fan, including the control state of the fan, can be seen and accessed when it is open. In this invention, a mechanism had to be used for air opening. However, in our invention, air opening is provided by a flap that moves only with the pressure of the air. Our invention offers a simpler use of fewer parts.

[0014] In the operating system of the products available in the state of the art, there is a situation similar to the opening and closing of two or more spring system butterfly wings mounted perpendicular to the propeller axis. However, when it snows while the fan is off, the fan blades cannot open and close because this system is fixed. This prevents the fan from operating. In existing systems, since the mechanism is connected to the body, it undergoes deformation over time due to corrosion caused by external atmospheric conditions and from time to time water leaks through these blades and water enters the building.

[0015] Again, applications in the state of the art use complicated mechanisms for discharging polluted air from the interior. In addition, measures to ensure water / air isolation against the outside also reduce the suction power of polluted air and reduce production efficiency. Other structures cause extra cost and complexity. A system that has both high suction power, low energy cost and a simple mechanism is not available in the state of the art. Aim of the Invention

[0016] In order to eliminate the disadvantages of the state of the art, one aim of the present invention is that, rain, snow and wind generated in the external atmosphere cannot penetrate through the fan body when the system is not in operation and therefore cannot penetrate into the building or the machine with the help of its insulation.

[0017] Another aim of the present invention is that it can be applied in different sizes and air transporting capacities.

[0018] Another aim of the present invention is that it can be applied in different sizes and air carrying capacities.

[0019] In order to provide the above advantages, the present invention is a chimney fan structure located on a base, connected to a connection body at the top, containing a fan to evacuate air from inside to outside, and an air discharge body connected to the connection body in a circular manner so as to discharge indoor polluted air for domestic / industrial purposes.

[0025] Detailed Description of the Invention

[0026] The present invention is a chimney fan structure comprising a flap (2) which moves vertically upwards independently of the flap contact body (1 ) with the positive pressure (forced) air movement created by the fan (7) installed for the ventilation system for domestic or industrial purposes during operation, and which closes due to gravity at the end of the air movement.

[0027] The invention shown in Figure 1 is chimney fan (7) structure including a fan (7) located on a base (5), connected to a connection body (1) at the top, to discharge air from inside to outside, an air discharge body (4) connected to said connection body (1 ) in a circular manner so as to discharge indoor polluted air for domestic / industrial purposes and comprises a flap (2) which is guided at the bottom to give freedom of movement up and down or rotation by said flap connection body (1 ), positioned in the form of a cover on the air discharge body (4) and closes the air outlet and air / water etc. inlet when said fan (7) is not in operation, ensures isolation and this flap (2) is used to discharge the polluted air sucked from the interior by the operation of the fan (7) at the bottom; only with the positive pressure (forced force) created by the fan (7), it pushes the flap (2) located on said connection body (1 ) upwards and opens the air passage, ensuring air discharge.

[0028] Figure 1 shows the closed fan (7)-closed flap (2) general view of the chimney fan (7) structure of the present invention. As can be seen in the figure, there is a fan (7) located on a base (5). Said fan (7) can discharge the air vertically or, if necessary, on a horizontal axis with an additional part. The fan (7) is connected to a connection body (1 ) on its upper part. Again, an air discharge body (4) is connected to the flap connection body (1 ) in a circular manner. An outer casing (3) is connected to the air discharge body (4) from the top and outside. As can also be seen in figure 1 , said flap contact body (1) has a flap (2) positioned thereon, which is guided at the bottom to give freedom of movement up and down or rotation. The flap (2) is also positioned in the form of a cover so as to cover the air discharge body (4), when the fan (7) is not operating, it closes the air outlet and air / water etc. inlet. In this way, it provides insulation to prevent unwanted air / water etc. entry from outside.

[0029] Figure 2 shows the open fan-open flap (2) general view of the chimney fan (7) structure of the present invention. As can be seen in the figure, said flap (2) pushes the flap (2) located on the connection body (1 ) upwards with the forced force created by the dirty air sucked from the interior with the operation of the fan (7) below and provides air discharge by opening the air passage. During this discharge, possible air / water inlet from the external environment is prevented and especially water insulation etc. is provided with the help of the discharge body (4) and an external casing (3) connected to this body (4) in the form of an extension.

[0030] Figure 3 shows the cross-sectional view of the chimney fan (7) structure of the present invention. Said flap connection body (1 ) has a cleaning part (6) and a locking element (8) located on the same and between the connected flap (2). The cleaning part (6) functions to both provide dust / particle isolation between the valve (2) and the connection body (1 ) during its operation, and to clean the dust etc. substances formed. Said part (6) may be made of different forms and materials for this purpose. Figure 4 has a different form in this sense.

[0031] The flap connection body (1), also seen in Figure 3, has a locking element (8) connected to the same and the connected flap (2). Said locking element (8) prevents the flap (2) from tuming / flying away with its locking function while the flap (2) moves up. The locking element (8) prevents the flap (2) from balancing during its movement. Again, the locking element (8) provides distance adjustment between the flap (2) and the connection body (1). Therefore, it provides intervention opportunity and capability to change and fix the position of the flap (2) on the connection body (1 ). Again, the maximum opening distance of the chimney can be adjusted with the help of the locking element (8). The chimney structure pf the present invention also comprises alternative mechanisms such as all kinds of flaps (2) and check valves that open and close on the axis perpendicular to the fan (7) with the movement of air created by the fan (7) during operation.
