[0005] However, although the service providing server described in Patent Document 1 above can return rewards to creator users who register original content of derivative content, when content created by multiple artists generates revenue, it is difficult to determine which artist's contribution was the greatest and reflect that contribution in the distribution of revenue.

[0006] In view of the above-mentioned problems, the present disclosure aims to provide a contribution calculation device, a contribution calculation method, and a program that can appropriately evaluate the contribution of each content creator in a composite content.

[0007] In order to solve the above-mentioned problems and achieve the objectives, the contribution calculation device of the present disclosure is a contribution calculation device that calculates the contribution of the creator of each piece of content in a composite content, which is content in which one or more pieces of content different from the original content are overlaid on top of the original content, and is equipped with an acquisition unit that acquires evaluation factor information indicating information for calculating the contribution of the creator of each piece of content in the composite content, and a calculation unit that calculates the contribution of the creator of each piece of content overlaid on the original content based on the evaluation factor information.

[0008] In order to solve the above-mentioned problems and achieve the objectives, the contribution calculation method of the present disclosure is a method for calculating the contribution of the creator of each piece of content in a composite content, which is content in which one or more pieces of content different from the original content are overlaid on top of the original content, and includes a step of acquiring evaluation factor information indicating information for calculating the contribution of the creator of each piece of content in the composite content, and a step of calculating the contribution of the creator of each piece of content overlaid on the original content based on the evaluation factor information.

[0009] In order to solve the above-mentioned problems and achieve the objectives, the program of the present disclosure is a program that calculates the contribution of the creator of each piece of content in a composite content, which is content in which one or more pieces of content that are different from the original content are overlaid on top of the original content, and causes a computer to execute the steps of acquiring evaluation factor information that indicates information for calculating the contribution of the creator of each piece of content in the composite content, and calculating the contribution of the creator of each piece of content overlaid on the original content based on the evaluation factor information.

[0010] According to the present disclosure, it is possible to provide a contribution calculation device, a contribution calculation method, and a program that can appropriately evaluate the contribution of each content creator in a composite content.

[0012] Hereinafter, embodiments of the present disclosure will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. However, the present disclosure is not limited to the embodiments described below.

[0013] (Outline of Contribution Calculation System) First, an outline of the contribution calculation system according to the present disclosure will be described using Fig. 1. Fig. 1 is a diagram illustrating an outline of the contribution calculation system according to the present disclosure. As shown in Fig. 1, the contribution calculation system 1 according to the present disclosure includes a contribution calculation device 100 that calculates the contribution of each content creator in a composite content, a content distribution device 200 that distributes the composite content, and a user terminal 300 that acquires the content created by the creator.

[0014] 1 , for example, user terminal 300A of user U1 records sound SD1 of user U1's drum performance. User terminal 300B of user U2 records sound SD2 of user U2's singing voice from a microphone, for example, via wireless communication. User terminal 300C of user U3 records sound SD3 of user U3's guitar performance. User terminals 300A, 300B, and 300C then transmit the recorded sounds SD1, SD2, and SD3, respectively, to contribution calculation device 100 via network N.

[0015] The contribution calculation device 100 generates new composite content by superimposing sounds SD1, SD2, and SD3 acquired from user terminals 300A, 300B, and 300C. For example, the contribution calculation device 100 may distribute the composite content to user terminal 300D of user U4 based on a request from the user terminal 300D, and output sound SD4 of the composite content. Alternatively, a content distribution device 200 that is a server device dedicated to distributing composite content may be provided separately from the contribution calculation device 100, and the content distribution device 200 may acquire the composite content generated by the contribution calculation device 100 and distribute the composite content to user terminals 300A, 300B, 300C, and 300D based on requests from the user terminals 300A, 300B, 300C, and 300D.

[0016] Then, the contribution calculation device 100 calculates the contributions of users U1, U2, and U3, who are artists, to the composite content, based on the distribution status of the composite content and user responses to the content distribution device 200. The contributions calculated by the contribution calculation device 100 are used for, for example, distribution of profits obtained by distribution of the composite content.

[0017] (Configuration of contribution calculation system) Next, the configuration of the contribution calculation system 1 according to the present disclosure will be described with reference to Fig. 2. Fig. 2 is a diagram showing an example configuration of the contribution calculation system according to the present disclosure. In the example shown in FIG. 1, the user terminal 300 is a smartphone.

[0021] The network N connects the contribution calculation device 100, the content distribution device 200, and the user terminal 300 in a wired or wireless manner so that they can communicate with each other. If the network N is wired, it may be realized by Ethernet (registered trademark) defined in IEEE802.3 or the like. If the network N is wireless, it may be realized by a wireless LAN (Local Area Network) defined in IEEE802.11, Bluetooth (registered trademark), or the like.

[0022] (Configuration of contribution calculation device) Next, the configuration of the contribution calculation device 100 according to the present disclosure will be described with reference to Fig. 3. Fig. 3 is a diagram showing an example configuration of the contribution calculation device according to the present disclosure. As shown in Fig. 3, the contribution calculation device 100 according to the present disclosure includes a communication unit 110, a storage unit 120, a control unit 130, a sound output unit 140, and a display unit 150. Below, these components will be described in order.

[0023] (Regarding the communication unit 110) The communication unit 110 is a communication module that allows the contribution calculation device 100 to communicate with external devices. The communication unit 110 is responsible for transmitting and receiving various types of data to and from external devices via wireless communication or wired communication. In the case of wireless communication, the communication unit 110 may be provided with a communication processing circuit such as a communication antenna, an RF (Radio Frequency) circuit, or a wireless LAN (Local Area Network) card. In the case of wired communication, the communication unit 110 may be provided with, for example, a NIC (Network Interface Card) equipped with a wired LAN terminal, a transmission circuit, or other communication processing circuits.

[0024] (Regarding the storage unit 120) The storage unit 120 is a storage device that stores various types of information. The storage unit 120 includes a main storage device and an auxiliary storage device. The main storage device may be realized by a semiconductor memory element such as a RAM (Random Access Memory), a ROM (Read Only Memory), or a flash memory. The auxiliary storage device may be realized by a hard disk, an SSD (Solid State Drive), an optical disk, or the like.

[0025] 3, the storage unit 120 includes a content storage unit 121 and an evaluation factor information storage unit 122. An example of information stored in these components will be described below in order.

[0026] (Content Storage Unit 121) The content storage unit 121 stores information related to content. An example of information stored in the content storage unit 121 will be described below with reference to Fig. 4. Fig. 4 is a diagram illustrating an example of information stored in the content storage unit of the contribution calculation device according to the present disclosure.

[0027] In the example shown in FIG. 4, the content storage unit 121 stores information relating to the items "acquisition source user terminal ID," "content ID," and "content data" in association with each other.

[0028] The "source user terminal ID" is an identifier that identifies the user terminal 300 from which the content data was acquired, and is represented by a character string, a number, etc. The "content ID" is an identifier that identifies the content, and is represented by a character string, a number, etc. The "content data" is the data of the content identified by the "content ID", and is, for example, sound source data or video data.

[0029] That is, in FIG. 4, the content data of the content identified by the content ID "CTID#1-1" acquired from the user terminal 300 identified by the acquisition source user terminal ID "UTID#1" is shown to be "CTDT#1-1".

[0030] The information stored in the content storage unit 121 is not limited to information relating to the items "source user terminal ID," "content ID," and "content data," but may also store information relating to any other content.

[0031] (Regarding the evaluation factor information storage unit 122) The evaluation factor information storage unit 122 stores information related to evaluation factor information indicating information for calculating the contribution of each content creator in a composite content. Here, an example of information stored in the evaluation factor information storage unit 122 will be described with reference to Fig. 5. Fig. 5 is a diagram showing an example of information stored in the evaluation factor information storage unit of the contribution calculation device according to the present disclosure.

[0032] In the example shown in Figure 5, the evaluation factor information storage unit 122 stores information related to the items ``content ID,'' ``number of likes,'' ``number of plays,'' ``artist popularity,'' ``length of viewing time,'' and ``artist evaluation value'' in association with each other.

[0033] The "content ID" is an identifier that identifies the content that is the subject of the evaluation factor information, and is expressed by a character string, a number, or the like. The "number of likes" is information indicating the number of times that users have pressed "like" on the content identified by the "content ID." The "number of plays" is information indicating the number of times that the content identified by the "content ID" has been played. The "artist popularity" is information indicating the popularity of the artist of the content identified by the "content ID." It can also be said that the topicality of famous artists or artists in the spotlight is determined by the number of web searches, etc. The "viewing time length" is information indicating the length of time that the content identified by the "content ID" has been viewed. The "artist evaluation value" is information indicating the number of evaluations, such as "likes," given to the content identified by the "content ID" by all artists involved in the production of the content identified by the "content ID."

[0034] That is, in Figure 5, the content identified by the content ID "CTID#1" has been given the number of likes indicated by the number of likes received "NON#1", has been played the number of times indicated by the number of plays "NOV#1", the artist of the content has received the degree of attention indicated by the artist attention level "DOA#1", the content has been viewed for the length of time indicated by the viewing time length "VTM#1", and the artist has given the rating indicated by the artist evaluation value "EV#1".

[0035] The information stored in the evaluation factor information storage unit 122 is not limited to information relating to the items "content ID," "number of likes," "number of plays," "artist popularity," "length of viewing time," and "artist evaluation value," but may also store information relating to any other evaluation factor information.

[0036] (Regarding the control unit 130) Next, returning to FIG. 3 , the control unit 130 will be described. The control unit 130 is a controller that manages and controls the contribution calculation device 100. The control unit 130 is realized by a CPU (Central Processing Unit), an MPU (Micro Processing Unit), or the like, executing various programs stored in the storage unit 120 using RAM as a working area. The control unit 130 may also be realized by an integrated circuit, such as an ASIC (Application Specific Integrated Circuit) or an FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array).

[0037] As shown in FIG. 3 , the control unit 130 includes an acquisition unit 131, a superimposition unit 132, a calculation unit 133, a reception unit 134, a provision unit 135, and a distribution unit 136. The control unit 130 realizes these functions and executes these processes by reading and executing a program (software) from the storage unit 120. Note that these functions of the control unit 130 may be realized by electronic circuits. Furthermore, the control unit 130 may execute these processes using a single CPU, or may include multiple CPUs that execute these processes in parallel. Each of these components will be described below in order.

[0038] The acquisition unit 131 acquires various types of information from inside or outside the contribution calculation device 100. An example of the information acquired by the acquisition unit 131 will be described below.

[0039] For example, the acquisition unit 131 acquires content data. For example, the acquisition unit 131 acquires the content data from the user terminal 300. After acquiring the content data from the user terminal 300, the acquisition unit 131 stores the acquired content data in the content storage unit 121. Note that the content here may be, for example, music data provided by an artist or a person wishing to create music. The music may be a performance on the piano or may consist of performances by multiple instruments. Note that the format of the music data may be, for example, sound source data in a format such as WAV (RIFF Waveform Audio Format) or MP3 (MPEG-1 Audio Layer-3), but is not limited to these. The content data may also be data that can serve as an opportunity for creating music, such as photos, videos, or novels.

[0040] The acquisition unit 131 also acquires evaluation factor information indicating information for calculating the degree of contribution of each content creator in the composite content. Specifically, the acquisition unit 131 acquires the evaluation factor information from the content distribution device 200. Note that the acquisition unit 131 may also acquire the evaluation factor information from the user terminal 300.

[0041] For example, the acquisition unit 131 acquires, as the evaluation factor information, information regarding a tree diagram representing the relationships between the individual pieces of content in the composite content. Here, the tree diagram information is information representing the relationships between the individual pieces of content in a tree diagram, as shown in FIG. 6 . FIG. 6 is a diagram illustrating an example of tree diagram information acquired by the acquisition unit of the contribution calculation device according to the present disclosure. As shown in FIG. 6 , the tree diagram information is information representing, in a tree diagram, the relationships between the original content OCT of the composite content and the individual pieces of content CTa, CTb, CTc, and CTd overlaid on the original content OCT. FIG. 6 shows that the contents CTa, CTb, and CTc are overlaid on the original content OCT, and that the content CTd is further overlaid on the content overlaid with the content CTb overlaid on the original content OCT.

[0042] The acquiring unit 131 further acquires, as the evaluation factor information, user evaluation information indicating evaluations of individual users on the composite content. Here, the user evaluation information is the evaluation of individual users on the composite content, and is, for example, the number of likes that users have given to the composite content or the individual pieces of content that make up the composite content when a certain period of time has been set for the composite content in the process of being produced or the completed composite content to be made public.

[0043] The acquiring unit 131 further acquires, as the evaluation factor information, individual playback count information indicating the individual playback count of each of the content items in the composite content. Here, the individual playback count indicates the individual playback count of each of the content items in the composite content. When the composite content is made public, the individual content items constituting the composite content are also made public, and the playback counts of the users are recorded.

[0044] The overlapping unit 132 generates composite content by overlapping multiple pieces of content. For example, the overlapping unit 132 receives specification of the original content and the content to be overlapped, and overlaps the specified content on the original content. That is, the overlapping unit 132 overlaps content by the same artist as the artist of the original content, or a different artist, on the original content. The overlapping unit 132 may also receive input of content to be further overlapped as the next content on the overlapped content, and further overlap the content. In this way, composite content is created by repeatedly overlapping content on the original content.

[0045] The calculation unit 133 calculates the contribution of each creator of content that is overlaid on the original content based on the evaluation factor information. Specific processing by the calculation unit 133 to calculate the contribution of each creator of content will be described below.

[0046] The calculation unit 133 calculates the number of contents further layered on each content based on the information on the tree diagram, and calculates the contribution of the creator of each content as a first contribution evaluation value based on the number of contents. The calculation unit 133 calculates the first contribution evaluation value using the number of connections branching out from each content as an index, for example, as follows: Evaluation value of content A = Number of connections from content A / (Total number of connections of final content + 1). For example, a composite content having the tree diagram information shown in FIG. 7 will be described. FIG. 7 is a diagram showing an example of tree diagram information for composite content according to the present disclosure. Here, the final content is indicated by a thick black circle. In FIG. 7, three sound sources are connected from track 1, which is composed of sound sources as an example of content, and three sound sources are connected from track 2. One sound source is connected from track 3, and two sound sources are connected from track 4. In other words, the total number of connections of the final content from the first content to the final content is 9 (= 3 + 3 + 1 + 2). By using 10, which is the sum of the total number of links of the final content and the first content 1, as the denominator, the first contribution evaluation values of the tracks in Fig. 7 are calculated as 3 / 10, 3 / 10, 1 / 10, 2 / 10, and 1 / 10, starting from track 1. By calculating the first contribution evaluation values in this way, it is possible to reflect in the evaluation value which content of a track had the greatest influence in the process leading to the final content.

[0047] Alternatively, the calculation unit 133 may calculate the first contribution evaluation value as follows: Evaluation value of content A = Number of connections from content A / (Total number of connections of composite content + 1) + ((Total number of connections of composite content + 1) - Total number of connections of final content) / Number of tracks of final content) / (Total number of connections of composite content + 1). For example, a case of composite content having tree diagram information as shown in FIG. 7 will be described. In FIG. 7, the total number of connections of composite content pieces connected starting from track 1 composed of a sound source, which is an example of content, is 15. By using 16, which is the total number of connections of the composite content pieces plus the first content, as the denominator, the first contribution evaluation values of the tracks composed of sound sources, which are an example of content, in FIG. 7 are calculated as 4.4 / 16, 4.4 / 16, 2.4 / 16, 3.4 / 16, and 1.4 / 16, starting from track 1. Calculating the first contribution evaluation value in this manner makes it possible to level the evaluation values of content pieces in which multiple content pieces were not connected in the process leading to the final content.

[0048] The calculation unit 133 calculates the degree of contribution of each content creator as a second contribution evaluation value based on the user evaluation information. That is, the calculation unit 133 calculates the second contribution evaluation value by reflecting the user evaluation information in the first contribution evaluation value. That is, a certain period is set for the release of the composite content in the process of being created or the completed composite content, and user evaluation information indicating the number of ratings, such as likes and nices, given by users to each piece of content is reflected. For example, if it is desired to reflect user evaluations by about 20% in the first contribution evaluation value, the second contribution evaluation value may be calculated as follows: (first contribution evaluation value × 0.8) + (user evaluation information of content A / user evaluation information of final content) × 0.2.

[0049] The calculation unit 133 calculates the degree of contribution of each content creator as a third contribution evaluation value based on the individual play count information. That is, the calculation unit 133 calculates the third contribution evaluation value by reflecting the individual play count information in the first contribution evaluation value. That is, a certain period is set for a release period of the composite content in the process of being produced or completed, and the number of times each content has been played by users is reflected. For example, if the calculation unit 133 wants the first contribution evaluation value to reflect the play count by about 20%, the calculation unit 133 calculates the third contribution evaluation value as follows: third contribution evaluation value = (first contribution evaluation value x 0.8) + (play count of content A / total number of plays of the final content) x 0.2.

[0050] The calculation unit 133 calculates the contribution of the creator of each piece of content as a fourth contribution evaluation value based on the artist attention information. That is, the calculation unit 133 reflects the attention of the artist who created each piece of content in the first contribution evaluation value. For example, the popularity of a famous artist or a popular artist is reflected as the popularity. Fame and popularity are determined by investigating the trendiness of the artist based on the number of web searches, etc., and determining each artist's rank. There are, for example, three ranks, with high fame or popularity being ranked as 3, low fame or popularity being ranked as 2, and unknown fame being ranked as 1. If the first contribution evaluation value is to reflect approximately 20% of the artist attention, the calculation unit 133 calculates the fourth contribution evaluation value as follows: (first contribution evaluation value × 0.8) + (rank of content A / total number of ranks of the final content) × 0.2.

[0051] The calculation unit 133 calculates the degree of contribution of the creator of each content as a fifth contribution evaluation value based on the viewing time of the content. That is, the calculation unit 133 reflects the viewing time of each content in the first contribution evaluation value. For example, if the calculation unit 133 wants the viewing time to be reflected by about 20% in the first contribution evaluation value, the calculation unit 133 calculates the fifth contribution evaluation value as follows: fifth contribution evaluation value = (first contribution evaluation value x 0.8) + (length of content A / total viewing time of the final content) x 0.2.

[0052] The calculation unit 133 calculates the contribution of each content creator as a sixth contribution evaluation value based on the artist evaluation value. That is, the calculation unit 133 reflects in the first contribution evaluation value the number of evaluations, such as likes and nices, given to the content linked to the final content by artists related to the final content or all artists who created the content linked from the original content. For example, if the calculation unit 133 wants to reflect about 20% of the artist evaluation value in the first contribution evaluation value, the calculation unit 133 may calculate the sixth contribution evaluation value as (first contribution evaluation value × 0.8) + (number of likes for content A / total number of likes for the final content) × 0.2.

[0053] Additionally, artists who participated in the creation of a content may be given a number of likes based on the number of pieces of content linked to the content they created. For example, an artist who added three pieces of content linked to them, but who did not link them to the final content, may give three likes as artist evaluation. In this case, three likes may be given to the same piece of content, or one like may be given to each separate piece of content.

[0054] The calculation unit 133 may use coins that can be obtained by paying a fee or the like and that can be used only within the service as the artist evaluation, and may calculate the degree of contribution of the creator of each piece of content as the seventh contribution evaluation value based on the number of coins received from users who have viewed the content. For example, if the calculation unit 133 wants to reflect the artist evaluation by about 20% in the first contribution evaluation value, the calculation unit 133 calculates the seventh contribution evaluation value as follows: seventh contribution evaluation value = (first contribution evaluation value x 0.8) + (number of coins for content A / total number of coins for the final content) x 0.2.

[0055] The reception unit 134 receives a content delivery request from a user. The delivery request may include information such as the user terminal ID of the sender of the delivery request and the ID of the content desired to be delivered. Upon receiving the content delivery request, the reception unit 134 requests the delivery unit 136 to deliver the content for which the delivery request was received. For example, the reception unit 134 may display a delivery request reception screen such as that shown in FIG. 8 on the user terminal 300 to receive the content delivery request from the user. FIG. 8 is a diagram illustrating an example of a delivery request reception screen displayed by the reception unit of the contribution calculation device according to the present disclosure. As shown in FIG. 8, the reception unit 134 may display a delivery request reception screen for the content CT1, CT2, CT3, CT4, and CT5 on the display unit 350 of the user terminal 300, and receive the user's touch operation on each of the play buttons PB1, PB2, PB3, PB4, and PB5 as a content delivery request from the user. After delivering the content to the user terminal 300, the accepting unit 134 records the number of plays in the evaluation factor information storage unit 122.

[0056] The receiving unit 134 also receives reaction information for the content from users. For example, the receiving unit 134 displays a distribution request reception screen as shown in FIG. 8 on the user terminal 300 to receive the reaction information for the content. As shown in FIG. 8, the receiving unit 134 displays like buttons NB1, NB2, NB3, NB4, and NB5 for each of the contents CT1, CT2, CT3, CT4, and CT5 on the display unit 350 of the user terminal 300 on the distribution request reception screen for each of the contents, thereby receiving like reaction information for the content from users. Furthermore, when the receiving unit 134 receives likes for the content, it records the number of likes in the evaluation factor information storage unit 122.

[0057] The providing unit 135 provides the compound content generated by the polymerization unit 132 to the content distribution device 200. That is, the providing unit 135 provides the compound content to the content distribution device 200 via the network N. The providing unit 135 may provide the compound content to the content distribution device 200 every time the polymerization unit 132 generates the compound content, or may provide the compound content to the content distribution device 200 when the data amount of the compound content generated by the polymerization unit 132 exceeds a predetermined amount.
