Abstract
Description
electric range
[0001] The present invention relates to an electric range, and more particularly, to an electric range using an induction heating method.
[0002] The material described in this section merely provides background information for the present invention and does not constitute prior art.
[0003] A variety of cooking appliances are used to heat food in homes and restaurants. These include gas ranges that use gas and electric ranges that use electricity.
[0004] Electric ranges are broadly divided into resistance heating and induction heating methods.
[0005] The electrical resistance method is a method of generating heat by applying current to a metal resistance wire or a non-metallic heating element such as silicon carbide, and heating the object to be heated (e.g., a cooking vessel such as a pot or frying pan) by radiating or conducting the generated heat.
[0006] Induction heating is a method of applying high-frequency power to a coil to generate a magnetic field around the coil, and using the eddy current generated from the generated magnetic field to heat a heated object made of metal components.
[0007] Looking at the basic heating principle of the induction heating method, when current is applied to the working coil, the object to be heated is inductively heated, generating heat, and the object to be heated is heated by the generated heat.
[0008] A typical electric range features a large coil area to which power is applied. Furthermore, the object being heated must be positioned so that it overlaps this large coil area to be heated.
[0009] Therefore, since the coil of the electric range occupies a large area, a heating area corresponding to a small number of coils with a large area is provided on the upper part of the electric range.
[0010] Because the heating zones are large and few in number, the cover plate of an electric range with a limited surface area is equipped with a small number of heating zones. Furthermore, because the heating zones are large in area, even if an electric range is equipped with multiple heating zones, the unheated area between the heating zones occupies a large area.
[0011] This structure limits the space available for heating objects on electric ranges, and even when heating small objects, a single large heating area must be used, potentially resulting in significant power consumption. This can be inconvenient for users.
[0012] To compensate for these shortcomings, coils with small, plate-shaped structures can be placed in electric ranges. Placing multiple coils of small area in an electric range reduces the space between the coils, and only the coils containing the object being heated are activated. This increases the space efficiency of the electric range and reduces power consumption.
[0013] An object of the present invention is to provide an electric range having a structure for blocking heat transfer from a heated body to internal components.
[0014] Another object of the present invention is to provide an electric range having a thermistor that indirectly measures the temperature of a heated object.
[0015] Another object of the present invention is to provide an electric range having a structure in which a thermistor can more accurately measure the temperature of a heated object.
[0016] The purposes of the present invention are not limited to those mentioned above. Other purposes and advantages of the present invention not mentioned above can be understood through the following description and will be more clearly understood through embodiments of the present invention. Furthermore, it will be readily apparent that the purposes and advantages of the present invention can be realized by the means and combinations thereof set forth in the claims.
[0017] An embodiment of an electric range may include a cover plate on which a heating element is disposed on an upper surface; a supporter accommodated in a case; a coil substrate provided in multiple portions spaced apart from each other and disposed on an upper portion of the supporter, on which a working coil is printed; a first insulating material disposed between the supporter and the cover plate; and a second insulating material disposed between the supporter and the cover plate and disposed at at least one position of an upper side or a lower side of the first insulating material.
[0018] The first insulation material and the second insulation material may be arranged to be separated from each other in the horizontal direction, and may be formed integrally in the vertical direction so that a plurality of working coils arranged to be separated in the vertical direction are all covered by one first insulation material and one second insulation material.
[0019] By placing a first insulation material and a second insulation material between the cover plate and the coil substrate, heat transfer from the heated body to the supporter can be suppressed.
[0020] The electric range may include a plurality of thermistors arranged at at least one position among the upper surface of a working coil or a coil boundary between a plurality of working coils and arranged spaced apart from each other.
[0021] The electric range may include a plurality of thermal pads arranged at positions corresponding to the thermistors and spaced apart from each other, and at least some of the plurality of thermal pads arranged to be in contact with the lower surface of the cover plate.
[0022] Thermal pads can be formed of thermally conductive materials.
[0023] On the upper surface of the coil substrate, thermistors can be uniformly arranged across the entire coil substrate.
[0024] The thermal pad is placed in contact with or very close to the thermistor, so that the thermistor can measure the temperature of the heat transferred from the thermal pad.
[0025] The first insulating material may include a first hole formed at a position corresponding to the thermistor and into which at least a portion of the thermistor is inserted, and the second insulating material may include a second hole formed at a position corresponding to the thermistor and the first hole and into which at least a portion of the thermistor is inserted.
[0026] The thermistor is arranged at a coil boundary between a plurality of working coils in a vertical direction, and some of the first holes and some of the second holes can be formed at positions corresponding to the coil boundary between the plurality of working coils.
[0027] In an electric range, the first insulation material and the second insulation material block the heat transferred from the heated object to the coil substrate, and the thermistor coupled to the coil substrate is placed in the first hole and the second hole to receive heat from the thermal pad and accurately measure the temperature of the heated object.
[0028] In the present invention, by arranging a first insulating material and a second insulating material between a cover plate and a coil substrate in an electric range, heat transfer from a heated body to a supporter is suppressed, thereby suppressing overheating of components coupled to the supporter, thereby improving the operating performance of the electric range.
[0029] In addition, the first insulation material and the second insulation material can improve the durability of the electric range by suppressing the melting of the solder that connects the thermistor to the upper surface of the coil substrate, thereby suppressing damage to the thermistor.
[0030] In addition, in the electric range of the present invention, thermistors can be uniformly arranged across the entire coil board on the upper surface of the coil board. Due to this structure, the electric range can indirectly measure the temperature of the heated object across the entire coil board using the thermistors.
[0031] In addition, in the electric range of the present invention, when the coil substrate, the first insulating material, and the second insulating material are assembled, the thermistor coupled to the upper surface of the coil substrate is inserted into the first hole and the second hole formed in the first insulating material and the second insulating material, and may be placed in contact with the thermal pad disposed on the upper side thereof, or may be placed very closely thereto even if not in contact.
[0032] Due to this structure, the first and second insulation materials block heat transferred from the heated object to the coil substrate, and the thermistor coupled to the coil substrate is placed in the first and second holes to receive heat from the thermal pad, thereby accurately measuring the temperature of the heated object.

[0079] Fig. 1 is a perspective view showing an electric range according to an embodiment. Fig. 2 is a front view showing an electric range according to an embodiment. Fig. 3 is an exploded perspective view showing an electric range according to an embodiment.
[0080] An electric range according to an embodiment can heat a heated object using induction heating. In this case, the heated object may be, for example, a dish containing a metal material such as stainless steel or iron.
[0081] The induction heating method is a method of applying high-frequency power to a working coil (140a) to generate a magnetic field around the working coil (140a), and heating a heated object made of a metal component using an eddy current generated by the generated magnetic field.
[0082] That is, when the working coil (140a) and the ferrite material are placed adjacent to each other and high-frequency power is applied to the working coil (140a), the working coil (140a) can generate a magnetic field.
[0083] In this way, when a magnetic field is generated around the working coil (140a) and a heated object is placed within the area of the generated magnetic field, an eddy current is induced in the heated object by the magnetic field, and Joule's heat is generated by the eddy current, so that the heated object can be heated. As the heated object, which is the tableware, is heated, the food contained in the heated object can be heated and cooked.
[0084] An electric range of one embodiment may include a case (110), a cover plate (120), a supporter (upper supporter) (130), a coil substrate (140), and a ferrite module (150).
[0085] The case (110) may function to protect components constituting the electric range. For example, the case (110) may be made of aluminum, but is not limited thereto. Meanwhile, the case (110) may be insulated to prevent heat generated by the coil substrate (140) from being released to the outside.
[0086] The case (110) can accommodate components that make up an electric range, and although the upper part is open, this open part can be closed by a cover plate (120). The case (110) can be used by processing the entire plate-shaped material into a box shape.
[0087] The case (110) may include a bottom plate (111) and a side wall (112). The bottom plate (111) may form the bottom surface of the case (110). The bottom plate (111) may support the internal components of the electric range.
[0088] The side wall (112) can be bent from the bottom plate (111) to form a space for receiving parts. The side wall (112) can be bent upward from the edge of the bottom plate (111) to form the side of the electric range.
[0089] A side wall (112) may be arranged on each side of a bottom plate (111) that is generally formed in a rectangular shape. The side wall (112) may reinforce the rigidity of the entire case (110). That is, the side wall (112) formed to be bent from the bottom plate (111) may prevent the plate-shaped bottom plate (111) from being bent or damaged by the weight of the internal components or external force.
[0090] Additionally, a cover plate (120) can be combined with the upper portion of the side wall (112). In this way, the case (110) and the cover plate (120) are combined so that the inside of the case (110) is closed, and a space in which various parts can be arranged can be provided inside the case (110).
[0091] The cover plate (120) is attached to the upper part of the case (110), and a heating element can be placed on the upper surface. The cover plate (120) can close the open upper part of the case (110) to protect the components stored in the case (110).
[0092] A heating element is placed on the upper surface of the cover plate (120), and a magnetic field generated from the coil plate and ferrite module (150) can pass through the cover plate (120) to reach the heating element. The cover plate (120) may be made of a material including, for example, ceramic, but is not limited thereto.
[0093] The cover plate (120) may be formed of, for example, a glass material and may be made transparent or translucent so that light irradiated from the indicator substrate (250) may pass through.
[0094] An input interface (160) that receives input from a user may be installed in an electric range. The input interface (160) is installed to overlap a specific area of the cover plate (120) and may display a specific image.
[0095] For example, the input interface (160) may be installed flatly embedded in the cover plate (120) or in contact with the lower surface of the cover plate (120).
[0096] The input interface (160) receives a touch input from a user, and the electric range can be driven based on the received touch input.
[0097] For example, the input interface (160) is a module for inputting the heating intensity or heating time desired by the user, and can be implemented as a physical button or touch panel.
[0098] For example, the input interface (160) may be, but is not limited to, a TFT LCD (Thin Film Transistor Liquid Crystal Display).
[0099] The cover plate (120) may be provided with a cover frame (121) for coupling the supporter (130) and the cover plate (120). The cover plate (120) may be formed to protrude downward from the cover plate (120) at a position corresponding to the side plate (136) of the supporter (130) adjacent to the edge of the cover plate (120).
[0100] When the cover plate (120) is coupled to the supporter (130), the cover frame (121) can be arranged to surround the side plate (136) of the supporter (130) from the outside. A hole can be formed in the cover frame (121), and a protrusion can be formed in the supporter (130) at a position corresponding to the hole.
[0101] Therefore, at a position where the side plates (136) of the cover frame (121) and the supporter (130) overlap each other laterally, the protrusion of the supporter (130) can be inserted into the hole of the cover frame (121) so that the cover plate (120) and the supporter (130) can be coupled to each other.
[0102] The supporter (130) can be accommodated in the case (110). The supporter (130) is accommodated inside the case (110), and various parts used for the operation of the electric range can be combined therein.
[0103] The coil substrate (140) and ferrite module (150) that form a magnetic field may be placed on the upper portion of the supporter (130). In addition, various circuit boards used to operate the electric range and a cooling device that cools these circuit boards may be placed on the lower portion of the supporter (130).
[0104] To accommodate such a large number of components, the supporter (130) may have a complex shape. Therefore, the supporter (130) can be easily manufactured into a complex shape, for example, by injection molding a plastic material. The specific structure of the supporter (130) is described in detail below.
[0105] The coil substrate (140) is arranged on the upper side of the supporter (130), and is provided in multiple pieces spaced apart from each other laterally, and a working coil (140a) can be printed on it.
[0106] A typical working coil (140a) is manufactured by winding the coil in a spiral shape. In the case of such a working coil (140a), the entire working coil (140a) may be enlarged to accommodate the coil winding. A large working coil (140a) reduces the spatial efficiency of the heating area of the electric range and increases power consumption.
[0107] In an embodiment, a coil substrate (140) on which a working coil (140a) is printed may be used. Instead of the working coil (140a) being wound on the coil substrate (140), it may be provided in a manner in which it is printed on the coil substrate (140).
[0108] When printing a working coil (140a), the working coil (140a) can be printed densely in a small area, and can also be printed to form multiple layers in the upper and lower directions of the substrate.
[0109] For example, a multilayer structure can be formed by printing the shape of a coil and circuit pattern on a copper film by masking it, removing unnecessary parts through an etching process to form a pattern, and coating an insulating material on the formed pattern to form a coil and circuit pattern that forms a single layer.
[0110] Again, a copper film can be attached over the insulating coating, and a masking printing process and an etching process can be performed on the copper film to form a coil and circuit pattern forming a second layer. By repeating this process, a coil substrate (140) equipped with a multi-layered working coil (140a) can be manufactured.
[0111] Accordingly, when a working coil (140a) is printed on a coil substrate (140), the area of the coil substrate (140) can be reduced and the length of the working coil (140a) can be sufficiently extended compared to the method in which the working coil (140a) is wound. Accordingly, a coil substrate (140) equipped with a working coil (140a) having a small area can be manufactured.
[0112] In addition, since the coil substrate (140) has a thin film form, the coil substrate (140) on which the working coil (140a) is provided can have a very slim form compared to the way the working coil (140a) is wound.
[0113] Therefore, in the embodiment, by using a coil substrate (140) on which a working coil (140a) is printed, the volume occupied by the working coil (140a) can be reduced and the total length of the working coil (140a) can be sufficiently extended. Accordingly, the entire electric range can be manufactured slim.
[0114] As illustrated in Fig. 3, compared to the method in which the working coil (140a) is wound, in the embodiment, a large number of small-area coil substrates (140) can be placed on the electric range. Accordingly, a large number of working coils (140a) can be densely placed on the upper part of the electric range.
[0115] The coil substrate (140) can be arranged without gaps with adjacent coil substrates (140), compared to the way the working coil (140a) is wound. Due to this structure, a plurality of coil substrates (140) can be densely arranged in an electric range without any empty spaces.
[0116] Accordingly, the empty space where the working coil (140a) is not located in the area where the coil substrate (140) is placed can be minimized, so that a large number of heating elements can be heated simultaneously, thereby improving the space efficiency of the electric range.
[0117] In addition, since the working coil (140a) is printed on the coil substrate (140), the working coil (140a) does not necessarily have to be arranged in a circular shape, and for example, corresponding to the shape of the coil substrate (140) which is rectangular, the working coil (140a) can be printed in a spiral shape with a generally rectangular shape.
[0118] Due to the aforementioned structure, a working coil (140a) having a very long length can be provided. In addition, the working coils (140a) are densely arranged on the coil substrate (140), and each working coil (140a) can be separated from each other and operate independently.
[0119] Accordingly, only the working coils (140a) that are at least partially overlapping with the heated object may operate to form a magnetic field, and the remaining working coils (140a) may not operate. Due to this structure, the user can freely place the heated object anywhere on the cover plate (120).
[0120] Accordingly, convenience is provided to the user, and the working coil (140a) that does not overlap with the heated body does not operate, so power consumption can be significantly reduced.
[0121] The ferrite module (150) may be provided in multiple numbers, arranged on the upper side of the supporter (130), arranged on the lower side of the coil substrate (140), and arranged at positions corresponding to each of the multiple working coils (140a).
[0122] Since a working coil (140a) is printed on the coil substrate (140), when high-frequency power is applied to the working coil (140a), a magnetic field is formed around the ferrite module (150) and the coil substrate (140), and the formed magnetic field can form an eddy current in the heated body.
[0123] Ferrite modules (150) can be arranged on the lower side of the coil substrate (140) in a number corresponding to the positions corresponding to the working coil (140a). In an exemplary embodiment, the ferrite modules (150) can be provided in an overall rectangular shape.
[0124] A ferrite module (150) can be formed by insert-molding a ferrite material and a plastic material. In this case, in one ferrite module (150), the ferrite material can be arranged in multiple pieces spaced apart from each other. The ferrite module (150) will be described in detail below.
[0125] Various boards equipped with various control elements and electric circuits for the operation of the electric range may be equipped in the electric range. These boards may be equipped as a main board (170), an EMI (Electro Magnetic Interference) filter (190), an SMPS (Switched Mode Power Supply) board (180), an inverter board (210), a resonant board (220), and an indicator board (250).
[0126] The main board (170) may be equipped with a control unit that controls the electric range. The main board (170) may be equipped to receive power from an external power source and communicate with an external device via wire or wirelessly.
[0127] The EMI filter (190) can suppress electromagnetic interference generated by electricity. The EMI filter (190) can receive AC power from an external power source. In addition, the EMI filter (190) can reduce noise (i.e., EMI (Electro Magnetic Interference)) of the received AC power and provide the AC power with reduced noise to the SMPS board (180).
[0128] The SMPS substrate (180) can supply electricity to an electric range. The SMPS substrate (180) can receive AC power with reduced noise from an EMI filter (190). In addition, the SMPS substrate (180) can rectify the AC power received into DC power and provide the rectified DC power to the inverter substrate (210).
[0129] The inverter substrate (210) can apply a resonant current to the working coil (140a). The inverter substrate (210) can include an inverter unit that applies a resonant current to the working coil (140a) through a switching operation. A plurality of inverter units can be provided, and the switching operation of the inverter units can be controlled by a control unit provided on the main substrate (170).
[0130] Here, the inverter section receives direct current power from the SMPS substrate (180) and performs a switching operation based on the received direct current power, thereby applying a resonant current to the working coil (140a).
[0131] And the inverter unit may include two switching elements, and the two switching elements may be alternately turned on and off by a switching signal provided from the control unit. And, a high-frequency alternating current (i.e., resonant current) may be generated by the switching operation of these two switching elements, and the generated high-frequency alternating current may be applied to the working coil (140a).
[0132] An inverter substrate (210) according to an exemplary embodiment may include a resonant capacitor, as shown in FIGS. 3 and 7. That is, the inverter substrate (210) illustrated in FIG. 3 is a form in which the inverter portion and the resonant capacitor are integrated.
[0133] According to another embodiment, the inverter substrate (210) may be equipped with only an inverter section without a resonant capacitor, as shown in FIG. 17. In this case, a separate resonant substrate (220) equipped with a resonant capacitor may be equipped in the electric range.
[0134] Below, the resonant substrate (220) and the resonant capacitor will be described first. The resonant capacitor is electrically connected to the inverter unit, and when a resonant current is applied to the working coil (140a) by the switching operation of the inverter unit, resonance begins.
[0135] In addition, when the resonant capacitor resonates, the current flowing in the working coil (140a) connected to the resonant capacitor increases. That is, through this process, an eddy current can be induced in the heated body placed on the upper side of the working coil (140a) connected to the resonant capacitor.
[0136] A plurality of resonant capacitors may be provided. In the case of an integrated type in which the inverter unit and the resonant capacitor are all provided on the inverter substrate (210), the resonant capacitor may be placed on the inverter substrate (210) at a distance from the inverter unit.
[0137] Of course, in the case where the inverter substrate (210) and the resonant substrate (220) are separated from each other and exist separately, the resonant capacitor can be provided on the resonant substrate (220).
[0138] The indicator board (250) may be equipped with a light source. The light source may be, for example, equipped in the form of multiple LEDs arranged in a row.
[0139] The indicator board (250) lights up when the electric range is in operation, thereby informing the user of the operation of the heating element. In addition, the indicator board (250) can also inform the user of the operating status of the electric range by changing the lighting shape, color, etc. of multiple LEDs.
[0140] The electric range may include a support plate (lower supporter) (260) disposed on the upper side of the bottom plate (111) of the case (110). The support plate (260) is disposed on the lower side of the supporter (130), is accommodated in the case (110), is disposed on the lower side of the substrates that are coupled to the lower surface of the supporter (130), and may support the supporter (130).
[0141] The support plate (260) is formed in a plate shape, and holes can be formed in the corresponding portions of the inlet hole (1112) and the discharge hole (1113) so that air can flow through the inlet hole (1112) and the discharge hole (1113) formed in the bottom plate (111) described later.
[0142] A plurality of substrates, a blower fan (230), a heat sink (240), a ferrite module (150), and a coil substrate (140) are arranged on the supporter (130), and the load of these components can be supported by the supporter (130). Since a plurality of components are connected to the constant supporter, the load of these components may cause the supporter (130) to sag downward.
[0143] Accordingly, the support plate (260) is placed on the lower side of the supporter (130) to support the supporter (130) in which a plurality of parts are combined, thereby preventing the supporter (130) from sagging downward.
[0144] Meanwhile, as another example, a plurality of substrates and components such as a blower fan (230), a heat sink (240), etc. may be combined to a support plate (lower supporter) (260). In this structure, the load applied to the supporter (130) is reduced, so that the occurrence of deformation causing the supporter (130) to sag downward can be suppressed to some extent.
[0145] When the electric range is assembled, the support plate (260) can be placed at a position spaced apart from the support plate (260) in the vertical direction at a distance sufficient to support relatively large components provided on various substrates, a blower fan (230) and a heat sink (240) that are larger in volume than other components.
[0146] On the upper surface of the support plate (260), protrusions may protrude upwardly to support the supporter (130) or a component coupled to the lower surface of the supporter (130). Meanwhile, on the upper surface of the bottom plate (111) of the case (110), protrusions may protrude upwardly to support the support plate (260).
[0147] Various substrates may be placed on the upper side of the support plate (260). Therefore, it is necessary to electrically insulate the substrates that may come into contact with the support plate (260) from the bottom plate (111) of the case (110) made of a material such as aluminum to prevent leakage and electrical short circuits.
[0148] Accordingly, the support plate (260) is formed of an electrically insulating material and is placed between the bottom plate (111) of the case (110) and the substrates to electrically insulate the substrates from the bottom plate (111). The support plate (260) may be formed of, for example, an electrically insulating material such as MICA or a plastic material.
[0149] The electric range may include a first insulation material (270) and a second insulation material (280). The first insulation material (270) may be placed between the supporter (130) and the cover plate (120) to suppress heat transfer from the heated object to the supporter (130).
[0150] The heat generated by the heated body can pass through the cover plate (120) and be transferred to the supporter (130) placed inside the electric range and various parts connected thereto.
[0151] This heat transfer heats the interior of the electric range, and especially, when transferred to various substrates, can have a negative impact on the operation of the electric range. Therefore, by placing a first insulating material (270) between the cover plate (120) and the supporter (130), heat transfer from the heated object to the interior of the electric range can be suppressed, thereby preventing heating of internal components, thereby improving the operating performance of the electric range.
[0152] The first insulating material (270) may be formed of, for example, a carbon material that has good insulating performance even when manufactured with a relatively thin thickness, but is not limited thereto.
[0153] The first insulating material (270) is formed in a plate shape and may be provided in multiple pieces to cover the coil substrate (140). The first insulating material (270) may be separated from each other in the horizontal direction of the electric range as a whole and formed as an integral part in the vertical direction. That is, the longitudinal direction of one first insulating material (270) may be arranged parallel to the vertical direction of the electric range.
[0154] The second insulation material (280) is placed between the supporter (130) and the cover plate (120), and can be placed at at least one position on the upper or lower side of the first insulation material (270).
[0155] In the embodiment illustrated in FIG. 3, the second insulation material (280) is placed both above and below the first insulation material (270). In another embodiment, the second insulation material (280) may be placed only at one of the upper or lower positions of the first insulation material (270).
[0156] The second insulation material (280) may be provided in a shape corresponding to that of the first insulation material (270). Accordingly, the second insulation material (280) may be separated from each other in the horizontal direction of the electric range as a whole and formed as an integral part in the vertical direction. That is, the longitudinal direction of one first insulation material (270) may be arranged parallel to the vertical direction of the electric range.
[0157] The second insulating material (280) is formed of a mica material and, together with the first insulating material (270), can suppress heat transfer from the heated body to the supporter (130) inside the electric range. In addition, the second insulating material (280) is positioned so as to be in contact with the first insulating material (270), so as to suppress the first insulating material (270) from being damaged by impact.
[0158] In particular, the first insulating material (270) made of carbon is weak to impact and easily damaged, so the second insulating material (280) can support the first insulating material (270) to prevent damage to the first insulating material (270), thereby increasing the durability of the first insulating material (270).
[0159] Meanwhile, the first insulation material (270) and the second insulation material (280) are formed to be shorter than the others in the area where the input interface (160) is placed so as not to cover the input interface (160), thereby avoiding the input interface (160).
[0160] Fig. 4a is a plan view of Fig. 1 with the cover plate (120) omitted. Fig. 4b is a plan view showing a coil substrate (140) according to one embodiment. Fig. 4c is a plan view showing a portion of the sensing coil (2514) illustrated in Fig. 4b.
[0161] In Fig. 4b, for clarity, the working coil (140a) and the sensing coil (2514) are illustrated as overlapping. In an actual structure, the working coil (140a) is arranged under the sensing coil (2514), and the layer of the working coil (140a) and the layer of the sensing coil (2514) may be arranged to be spaced apart from each other in the vertical direction of the electric range by an insulating material.
[0162] A sensing coil (2514) that detects that the heated body is placed on the upper surface of the cover plate (120) may be printed on the coil substrate (140). The sensing coil (2514) may be placed, for example, on the uppermost layer of the coil substrate (140).
[0163] The sensing coil (2514) may be arranged to form multiple layers of the coil substrate (140). For example, the sensing coil (2514) may be arranged on the top layer and the layer below the top layer of the coil substrate (140), and the working coil (140a) forming multiple layers may be arranged on the layer below the sensing coil (2514).
[0164] The sensing coil (2514) can be manufactured to form multiple layers by performing a masking printing process and an etching process as described above for the working coil (140a).
[0165] The sensing coil (2514) is generally provided in a circular shape and may be formed with a smaller area than the working coil (140a). The sensing coil (2514) may be provided in multiples spaced apart from each other on the coil substrate (140). The sensing coil (2514) may be provided at the position where the working coil (140a) is provided, and may also be provided at the coil boundary (1412) between adjacent working coils (140a).
[0166] By arranging a plurality of working coils (140a) in this way on the coil substrate (140), the precise position of the heated object can be detected by the sensing coil (2514) regardless of where the heated object is placed on the upper surface of the cover plate (120).
[0167] A screw hole (H_sc) may be formed through the edge of the coil substrate (140). For example, a coupling mechanism such as a screw bolt may pass through the screw hole (H_sc) and be coupled to the supporter (130), thereby allowing the coil substrate (140) to be stably and firmly coupled to the supporter (130).
[0168] Referring to FIG. 4c, the sensing coil (2514) has an overall circular shape and may be formed in a spiral shape. In this shape, a central region (2514c) where the coil is not printed may be formed inside the sensing coil (2514).
[0169] A thermistor (320) for indirectly measuring the temperature of a heated object may be placed in the central region (2514c). In addition, a sensor pad (P_s) for electrical connection with two electrodes of the thermistor (320) may be placed in the central region (2514c).
[0170] The sensor pad (P_s) can be formed by being printed on the upper surface of the coil substrate (140) and can be provided in the form of a via hole, for example. The sensor pad (P_s) is electrically connected to the control unit, so that temperature information measured by the thermistor (320) can be transmitted to the control unit.
[0171] The electrodes of the sensor pad (P_s) and the coil substrate (140) can be electrically connected to each other, for example, by soldering. The specific structure of the thermistor (320) is described below with reference to the drawings.
[0172] The sensor pad (P_s) and thermistor (320) can be arranged, for example, to avoid the printed position of the coil of the working coil (140a). Accordingly, the central region (2514c) of the sensing coil (2514) arranged at the position where the working coil (140a) is placed can be arranged to avoid the printed position of the coil that becomes the conductor of the working coil (140a).
[0173] Meanwhile, in the coil boundary portion (1412) where the working coil (140a) is not placed, the central region (2514c) of the sensing coil (2514) can be placed on the coil boundary portion (1412). Accordingly, the sensor pad (P_s) and thermistor (320) can be placed to avoid the coil of the working coil (140a).
[0174] Fig. 5 is a cross-sectional view looking in the 5-5 direction of Fig. 4a. Fig. 6 is a bottom view showing an electric range according to one embodiment.
[0175] Various types of boards may be equipped with elements that generate heat when the electric range is in operation.
[0176] For example, the switching elements responsible for on / off control in electric ranges generate significant heat. Therefore, these elements require forced cooling to prevent overheating, which can cause the range to shut down or malfunction.
[0177] For this purpose, the electric range may include a blower fan (230) and a heat sink (240). The blower fan (230) and the heat sink (240) may serve to cool various heated substrates and other components.
[0178] The blower fan (230) is coupled to the lower surface of the supporter (130) and can be positioned at a location spaced apart from the substrates. The blower fan (230) can be provided to exhaust air toward the heat sink (240). The blower fan (230) is electrically connected to the main substrate (170) and its operation can be controlled by a control unit provided on the main substrate (170).
[0179] The heat sink (240) is placed on the lower side of the supporter (130) and may be placed in a longitudinal direction parallel to the air discharge direction of the blower fan (230). The heat sink (240) may be coupled to the lower surface of the inverter substrate (210).
[0180] In the embodiment, the inverter substrates (210) are provided as a pair spaced apart from each other, so that the heat sinks (240) can be provided as a pair so as to be coupled to each inverter substrate (210). Corresponding to the pair of heat sinks (240), the blower fans (230) can be provided as a pair, each positioned corresponding to the pair of heat sinks (240).
[0181] A plurality of cooling fins may be formed in the heat sink (240), and an air passage may be formed inside the heat sink (240) in a direction parallel to the length thereof, through which air may pass. Accordingly, air discharged from the exhaust port of the blower fan (230) cools the heat sink (240) while passing through the outer surface of the heat sink (240) and the inner air passage, thereby effectively cooling the inverter substrate (210).
[0182] The heat sink (240) is coupled to the inverter board (210) to increase the heat dissipation area of the inverter board (210) so that the inverter board (210) can be effectively cooled by air flowing through the blower fan (230).
[0183] Since the inverter board (210) is equipped with an inverter unit, which is a switching element, the inverter unit consumes a relatively large amount of power and can be heated to a higher temperature than other elements. Accordingly, the heat sink (240) can be coupled to the inverter board (210) to effectively cool the inverter unit.
[0184] Meanwhile, since the air flowing by the blower fan (230) flows through the entire lower side of the support plate (260), other substrates besides the inverter substrate (210) are also cooled by the forced air flow, so that the entire inside of the electric range can be cooled.
[0185] As illustrated in Fig. 6, the bottom plate (111) of the case (110) may include an inlet hole (1112) and an exhaust hole (1113). The inlet hole (1112) is formed at a position corresponding to the blower fan (230), and air can be introduced from the outside.
[0186] The exhaust hole (1113) is formed at a position corresponding to the air exhaust portion of the heat sink (240), and air can be exhausted. The exhaust hole (1113) can be formed at a position adjacent to the outlet of the air flow path formed in the heat sink (240). Since the heat sink (240) and the blower fan (230) are each formed in pairs, the inlet hole (1112) and the exhaust hole (1113) can also be formed in pairs correspondingly.
[0187] The working coil (140a) may be formed in multiple layers on the coil substrate (140). For example, a sensing coil (2514) for sensing a heated object may be printed on the uppermost part of the coil substrate (140), and a plurality of working coils (140a) may be arranged in layers below it.
[0188] In Fig. 4b, the working coil (140a) has an overall rectangular shape and is formed in a spiral shape. Due to this structure, the working coil (140a) has a shape corresponding to the rectangular mounting groove (131) and the ferrite module (150), and can be printed densely, thereby increasing the total length of the working coil (140a).
[0189] However, as another example, the working coil (140a) may be formed in a polygonal, circular, or oval shape.
[0190] As described above, a single working coil (140a) illustrated in FIG. 4b may be arranged in multiple layers, spaced apart from each other in the vertical direction of the coil substrate (140). However, for clarity, in the following, the working coils (140a) that overlap each other in the vertical direction and form multiple layers may be referred to as one identical working coil (140a).
[0191] As shown in Fig. 4b, a plurality of working coils (140a) can be arranged in the lateral direction of one coil substrate (140).
[0192] In Fig. 4b, for example, one coil substrate (140) is illustrated on which two working coils (140a) are printed in the horizontal direction and four working coils (140a) are printed in the vertical direction. However, the present invention is not limited thereto, and the size of the coil substrate (140) and the number of working coils (140a) printed on one coil substrate (140) may be changed in consideration of the shape or size of the entire electric range and the ease of assembly or disassembly.
[0193] Meanwhile, a through hole (1419) may be formed between adjacent working coils (140a) in a single coil substrate (140). A first piece (1321) of a supporter (130) may be fitted into this through hole (1419). As the first piece (1321) is fitted into the through hole (1419), the coil substrate (140) may be positioned at a designed position. The through hole (1419) may have a shape corresponding to the first piece (1321) and the slit (1323) of the supporter (130).
[0194] In addition, due to this structure, the slit (1323) formed in the first piece (1321) is not blocked by the coil substrate (140), and the light irradiated from the indicator substrate (250) can pass through the slit (1323) hole of the supporter (130) and transmit through the cover plate (120).
[0195] One working coil (140a) is positioned corresponding to one ferrite module (150) and can overlap each other in the vertical direction. That is, one working coil (140a) can be positioned corresponding to one ferrite module (150).
[0196] At this time, a coil boundary (1412) may be provided between adjacent working coils (140a). The coil boundary (1412) is arranged in a direction in which the longitudinal direction intersects the longitudinal direction of the through hole (1419), and of course, the through hole (1419) is not formed in the coil boundary (1412).
[0197] The lower surface of the coil substrate (140) is supported by the second piece (1322), and at this time, the coil boundary portion (1412) can be placed at a position corresponding to the second piece (1322) of the boundary rib (132).
[0198] In Fig. 5, the direction of air flow is indicated by an arrow. When the blower fan (230) operates, air can be drawn into the electric range from the outside through the inlet hole (1112). A portion of the drawn air passes through the outer surface of the heat sink (240) and the air passage formed within the heat sink (240), and the remainder of the drawn air can be diffused throughout the entire inside of the case (110) of the electric range.
[0199] The air forced to flow inside the case (110) can be discharged to the outside through the exhaust hole (1113). In particular, the inverter substrate (210) to which the heat sink (240) is coupled can be well cooled by the forced air flow. Accordingly, the inverter unit, which is a switching element heated to a high temperature, can be effectively cooled by the heat sink (240) and the air.
[0200] In the embodiment, the blower fan (230) is coupled to the lower surface of the supporter (130), the heat sink (240) is coupled to the inverter board (210), and the inverter board (210) is coupled to the lower surface of the supporter (130). Consequently, since the cooling devices, the blower fan (230) and the heat sink (240), are both coupled to the supporter (130), the case (110) may not be provided with a separate structure for coupling the blower fan (230) and the heat sink (240).
[0201] Therefore, the support structure of the electric range is simplified overall, which simplifies the structure of the electric range and reduces manufacturing costs.
[0202] In addition, since the structure in contact with the blower fan (230) and the heat sink (240) in the case (110) is omitted, assembly and disassembly of the case (110) become easier, and maintenance work of the electric range can become easier.
[0203] Fig. 7 is a drawing of Fig. 6 with the case (110) omitted. Fig. 8 is a perspective view showing a supporter (130) according to one embodiment. Fig. 9 is a plan view showing a supporter (130) according to one embodiment.
[0204] Fig. 10 is a cross-sectional view looking in the 10-10 direction of Fig. 9. Fig. 11 is a cross-sectional view looking in the 11-11 direction of Fig. 9.
[0205] The supporter (130) may include a flat plate (135) arranged in a direction parallel to the lateral direction of the electric range, and a side plate (136) bent downward from an edge of the flat plate (135). A ferrite module (150) and a coil substrate (140) are arranged on the flat plate (135), and the side plate (136) may support the flat plate (135) at an edge of the flat plate (135).
[0206] The supporter (130) may include a fixing groove (131) and a boundary rib (132).
[0207] The settling groove (131) is formed by sinking the flat plate (135), and is arranged to be aligned with each other in the horizontal and vertical directions of the supporter (130), and may be provided in multiple numbers in which a plurality of ferrite modules (150) are each settling. The settling groove (131) is generally formed in a rectangular shape, and therefore, the coil substrate (140) and the ferrite module (150) having a rectangular shape can be fitted into the settling groove (131).
[0208] The boundary rib (132) forms a boundary of a plurality of anchoring grooves (131), is provided to protrude from the upper surface of the supporter (130), and may be provided in multiple numbers.
[0209] The boundary rib (132) may include a first piece (1321) and a second piece (1322). The first piece (1321) may be arranged in a longitudinal direction laterally. The second piece (1322) may be arranged in a longitudinal direction intersecting the longitudinal direction of the first piece (1321).
[0210] Referring to Fig. 4a, the first piece (1321) may be arranged in a longitudinal direction, and the second piece (1322) may be arranged in a transverse direction. Since the first piece (1321) and the second piece (1322) are arranged in a direction in which their longitudinal directions intersect each other, the upper surface of the supporter (130) may be formed in a grid shape overall.
[0211] A slit (1323) may be formed in the first piece (1321). The slit (1323) may be formed to penetrate the supporter (130) and may be formed in the shape of a narrow and long hole. An indicator substrate (250) may be placed at a position corresponding to the position where the slit (1323) is formed in the supporter (130).
[0212] Accordingly, since the first piece (1321) and the slit (1323) are longitudinally aligned with the vertical direction of the supporter (130), the indicator substrate (250) can also be longitudinally aligned with the vertical direction of the supporter (130).
[0213] In the indicator board (250), a light source irradiates light in an upward direction, and the irradiated light passes through a slit (1323) and transmits through a cover plate (120) made of glass, so that a user can see the irradiated light.
[0214] The slit (1323) and the indicator substrate (250) are arranged so that their longitudinal direction is parallel to the vertical direction of the supporter (130) and are spaced apart from each other, so that the user can see the irradiated light that is elongated in the longitudinal direction and spaced apart from each other in the horizontal direction.
[0215] The first piece (1321) may be formed to have a relatively high height, and the second piece (1322) may be formed to have a lower height than the first piece (1321). A slit (1323) is formed in the first piece (1321), and since light passing through the slit (1323) needs to be clearly visible to the user without being diffused, the first piece (1321) may be formed to have a relatively high height so that the light does not diffuse until it passes through the upper surface of the cover plate (120).
[0216] Since the first insulation material (270) and the second insulation material (280) placed on the upper side of the first piece (1321) are separated from each other by the slit (1323), the first insulation material (270) and the second insulation material (280) do not cover the slit (1323), so that light passing through the slit (1323) can directly reach the cover plate (120).
[0217] The second piece (1322) is formed relatively low, and the first insulation material (270) and the second insulation material (280) can be arranged on the upper side of the second piece (1322). The first insulation material (270) or the second insulation material (280) can be arranged so that the longitudinal direction is parallel to the vertical direction of the supporter (130).
[0218] Accordingly, the first insulation material (270) and the second insulation material (280) can be arranged as a single unit in the vertical direction of the supporter (130) and separated from each other in the horizontal direction. The first insulation material (270) and the second insulation material (280) can be separated from each other with the first piece (1321) as the boundary.
[0219] That is, a plurality of first insulation materials (270) and second insulation materials (280) can be separated from each other by the first piece (1321) and placed on the upper side of the second piece (1322). Accordingly, the second piece (1322) can be formed relatively low to form a space in which the first insulation material (270), the second insulation material (280), and the coil boundary portion (1412) of the coil substrate (140) are placed.
[0220] A ferrite module (150) may include a ferrite core (151) and a core fixing portion (152). When high-frequency power is applied to a working coil (140a) printed on a coil substrate (140), a magnetic field is formed around the working coil (140a), and the formed magnetic field can form an eddy current in a heated object. The ferrite core (151) can raise the formed magnetic field in an upward direction where the heated object is located.
[0221] The core fixing part (152) is equipped with a ferrite core (151) and can fix the ferrite core (151) to the fixing groove (131). The core fixing part (152) is coupled to the supporter (130), is formed by insert injection with the ferrite core (151), and can fix the ferrite core (151).
[0222] The core fixing part (152) forms the outer shape of the ferrite module (150) and may be formed in an overall rectangular shape. Meanwhile, the ferrite core (151) may be formed in a plurality of pieces and joined to the core fixing part (152) by insert injection. Accordingly, the ferrite module (150) may have an overall rectangular shape.
[0223] Fig. 12 is an exploded perspective view showing a supporter (130) and a ferrite module (150). Fig. 13 is a plan view showing a state in which a ferrite module (150) is coupled to a supporter (130). Fig. 14 is a plan view showing a state in which a coil substrate (140) is coupled to the state of Fig. 13.
[0224] As illustrated in FIGS. 12 to 14, a ferrite module (150) can first be mounted in a mounting groove (131) formed on the upper portion of a supporter (130). Next, after the ferrite module (150) is mounted, a coil substrate (140) can be mounted on the supporter (130). In this order, mounting of the coil substrate (140) on the supporter (130) can be completed.
[0225] The coil substrate (140) and the ferrite module (150) may be provided to be supported by a boundary rib (132) while placed in the mounting groove (131).
[0226] Each ferrite module (150) can be independently inserted into each mounting groove (131). When each ferrite module (150) is inserted into the mounting groove (131), the side surface of the ferrite module (150) can be stably supported by the first piece (1321) and the second piece (1322) of the boundary rib (132).
[0227] When the coil substrate (140) is placed on top of the supporter (130), the lower surface of the coil substrate (140) can be supported by the second piece (1322) of the boundary rib (132). At this time, the coil boundary portion (1412) of the coil substrate (140) can be located on the upper surface of the second piece (1322).
[0228] A first piece (1321) of a boundary rib (132) can be fitted into a through hole (1419) of a coil substrate (140). Accordingly, the coil substrate (140) is placed at a designed position, and is supported by the first piece (1321), so that lateral movement of the supporter (130) can be suppressed.
[0229] A substrate joint (141) may be provided to stably mount the coil substrate (140) on the supporter (130). The substrate joint (141) is joined to the coil substrate (140) and may join the coil substrate (140) to the supporter (130). The substrate joint (141) may be formed integrally with the coil substrate (140) or may be manufactured separately and joined to the coil substrate (140).
[0230] The substrate joint portion (141) may be formed to protrude from the longitudinal end of the coil substrate (140). This protruding substrate joint portion (141) may be joined to the supporter (130) by a joining mechanism such as a screw bolt.
[0231] A connecting pin (1411) may be provided at the edge of the coil substrate (140). When the coil substrate (140) is mounted on the supporter (130) by the substrate joint (141), the connecting pin (1411) comes into contact with the terminal formed on the supporter (130), and thus the connecting pin (1411) and the terminal of the supporter (130) can be electrically connected to each other.
[0232] The terminal of the supporter (130) can be electrically connected to other electrical components by a cable or the like.
[0233] In the embodiment, the ferrite module (150) can be easily and stably mounted on the supporter (130) by means of a mounting groove (131) formed on the upper portion of the supporter (130) and a boundary rib (132) formed surrounding the mounting groove (131).
[0234] In addition, since the first piece (1321) is fitted into the coil substrate (140), the coil substrate (140) can be placed in a designed position when mounted on the supporter (130), and does not move in the lateral direction of the supporter (130), i.e., in the horizontal and vertical directions of the supporter (130), so the coil substrate (140) can be easily assembled to the supporter (130).
[0235] The electric range may include an input interface (160) that is positioned on the upper portion of the supporter (130). The input interface (160) may be coupled to the supporter (130). To this end, the supporter (130) may be formed so that its upper surface is sunken downward and may include an insertion groove (134) into which the input interface (160) is inserted.
[0236] The insertion groove (134) may be provided in a generally rectangular shape to correspond to the rectangular input interface (160). The insertion groove (134) and the input interface (160) may be positioned in the front center of the electric range to facilitate input from the user's perspective.
[0237] A hole may be formed at the bottom of the insertion groove (134) through which a cable or the like can pass for electrical connection between the input interface (160) and other components.
[0238] Fig. 15 is a bottom view of the supporter (130). Fig. 16 is a drawing showing the state in which the indicator board (250) is combined in the state of Fig. 15. Fig. 17 is a drawing showing the state in which various parts are combined in the state of Fig. 16.
[0239] Various substrates can be joined to the lower surface of the supporter (130). These substrates can be joined by a joining mechanism such as a screw bolt, for example.
[0240] The main board (170) is connected to the lower surface of the supporter (130), and a control unit for controlling the electric range can be configured.
[0241] The SMPS substrate (180) is coupled to the lower surface of the supporter (130) and can supply electricity to an electric range. The SMPS substrates (180) can be provided in pairs to supply electricity to a plurality of working coils (140a).
[0242] The EMI filter (190) is coupled to the lower surface of the supporter (130) and can suppress electromagnetic interference generated by electricity. Since the EMI filter (190) is electrically connected to the SMPS board (180), it can be provided as a pair to correspond to each pair of SMPS boards (180).
[0243] The inverter substrate (210) is coupled to the lower surface of the supporter (130) and can apply resonant current to the working coil (140a). The inverter substrate (210) can also be provided in pairs to supply resonant current to a plurality of working coils (140a).
[0244] Meanwhile, as illustrated in Fig. 17, an electric range in which the inverter substrate (210) and the resonant substrate (220) are separated from each other may also be provided. The resonant substrate (220) is coupled to the lower surface of the supporter (130), is arranged separately from the inverter substrate (210), and may include a resonant capacitor.
[0245] In this way, various substrates necessary for the operation of the electric range can be provided on the lower surface of the supporter (130). At this time, each substrate can be placed at a position spaced apart from each other on the lower surface of the supporter (130).
[0246] Each substrate can be inverted and combined on the lower surface of the supporter (130). That is, among the components provided on each substrate, components that occupy a relatively large volume can be provided to be placed on the lower portion of the substrate.
[0247] Due to this structure, various substrates can be easily combined with the lower surface of the supporter (130) without any obstacles.
[0248] Meanwhile, the indicator substrate (250) is coupled to the lower surface of the supporter (130), is provided in multiple pieces spaced apart from each other, and may be equipped with a light source. Unlike other substrates, the indicator substrate (250) may be placed in a position partially overlapping with other substrates.
[0249] The indicator board (250) is formed in a bar shape and can be arranged so that its length is parallel to the lateral direction of the supporter (130).
[0250] Referring to FIGS. 15 and 16, the slits (1323) formed in the supporter (130) are formed so that their longitudinal direction is parallel to the vertical direction of the supporter (130), and can also be aligned in a vertical line. In addition, the slits (1323) can be arranged to be spaced apart from each other in the horizontal direction of the supporter (130).
[0251] The indicator substrate (250) may be positioned to overlap with the slit (1323) through which light passes. Accordingly, the indicator substrate (250) may be positioned to cover the slit (1323) on the lower surface of the supporter (130).
[0252] Accordingly, the indicator board (250) may be provided in multiple numbers so that the longitudinal direction is parallel to the vertical direction of the supporter (130) and is spaced apart from each other in the horizontal direction of the supporter (130).
[0253] Except for the indicator board (250), various boards for operating the aforementioned electric range can be spaced apart and joined to the lower surface of the board. Boards provided as a pair can also be spaced apart from each other.
[0254] In addition, a blower fan (230) constituting a cooling device may be placed at a position spaced apart from the substrates on the lower surface of the supporter (130). Meanwhile, a heat sink (240) constituting a cooling device may be coupled to the supporter (130) in a form coupled to the lower surface of the inverter substrate (210).
[0255] In an embodiment, a ferrite module (150) and a coil substrate (140) are combined on the upper part of the supporter, and various substrates for operating an electric range and a cooling device can be combined on the lower part of the supporter.
[0256] In this way, most of the electrical components, such as the circuit board, blower fan (230), etc., that are involved in the operation of the electric range and operate by receiving electricity can be connected to the supporter (130). Due to this structure, the assembly and disassembly performance of the electric range can be significantly improved.
[0257] That is, when assembling an electric range, a ferrite module (150), a coil substrate (140), and an input interface (160) are first assembled on the upper part of the supporter (130), and various substrates and a cooling device can be assembled on the lower part of the supporter (130).
[0258] Next, the first insulation material (270) and the second insulation material (280) are placed on the upper side of the supporter (130), and the support plate (260) is placed on the lower side of the supporter (130), and then the cover plate (120) and the case (110) are combined to complete the assembly of the electric range.
[0259] At this time, since the case (110) does not have a support structure that supports the parts to be coupled to the supporter (130), there is no need to fit these parts to the support structure, so assembling the case (110) can be made very easy.
[0260] Likewise, when disassembling an electric range for repair, by disassembling the case (110) and cover plate (120) and disassembling the support plate (260), the supporter (130) where various parts are combined can be accessed, and any defective parts can be easily replaced.
[0261] In addition, since the ferrite modules (150) are separated from each other and inserted into the mounting grooves (131) of the supporters (130), only the defective ferrite module (150) can be replaced, making it easy to perform repair work on the electric range.
[0262] Meanwhile, referring to FIGS. 15 to 17, the work of assembling various components on the lower surface of the supporter (130) can be performed in the following order. First, the indicator substrate (250) can be combined so as to cover the slit (1323) at the location where the slit (1323) is formed on the lower surface of the supporter (130).
[0263] Next, various substrates and a blower fan (230) can be placed at designed locations on the lower surface of the supporter (130) and coupled to the supporter (130). At this time, the heat sink (240) can be coupled to the inverter substrate (210). Of course, various substrates, excluding the heat sink (240) and the indicator substrate (250), can be coupled at positions spaced apart from each other on the lower surface of the supporter (130).
[0264] Next, electrical connections between various electrical components and cable connection work for electrical connection to external power sources can be performed.
[0265] Additionally, the disassembly process can be performed in the reverse order of the assembly process described above.
[0266] Figure 18 is an exploded view showing some of the components that make up an electric range.
[0267] When the electric range operates, the heated object placed on the upper surface of the cover plate (120) is heated, and heat can be transferred from the heated object to the inside of the electric range. The heat of the heated object can pass through the cover plate (120) and be transferred to the coil substrate (140) located on the lower side of the cover plate (120) and other various substrates.
[0268] This heat transfer can adversely affect the operation of the electric range. For example, if excessive heat transfer occurs inside the range, the range may shut down to protect its internal components. This can cause inconvenience to the user.
[0269] Additionally, a thermistor (320) may be coupled to the upper surface of the coil substrate (140) to indirectly measure the temperature of the heated body. The thermistor (320) may be integrally coupled with the coil substrate (140). For example, the thermistor (320) may be coupled to the upper surface of the coil substrate (140) by soldering.
[0270] Since lead has a relatively low melting point, if excessive heat from the heated object is transferred to the coil substrate (140), the lead may melt again. In this case, the thermistor (320) soldered to the coil substrate (140) may malfunction due to a broken connection.
[0271] Therefore, in order to suppress the melting of the solder, it is necessary to block heat transfer from the heated body to the coil substrate (140).
[0272] To block heat transfer, the electric range of the embodiment may have a first insulation material (270) and a second insulation material (280) placed between the cover plate (120) and the coil substrate (140).
[0273] The first insulating material (270) is placed between the supporter (130) and the cover plate (120) to suppress heat transfer from the heated body to the coil substrate (140) coupled to the supporter (130). The first insulating material (270) suppresses heat transfer from the heated body to the inside of the electric range, thereby preventing heating of internal components and improving the operating performance of the electric range.
[0274] The first insulating material (270) may be formed to generally have a plate shape. The first insulating material (270) may be formed of, for example, a carbon material that has good insulating performance even when manufactured with a relatively thin thickness, but is not limited thereto.
[0275] The first insulating material (270) is formed in a plate shape and may be provided in multiple pieces to cover the coil substrate (140). The first insulating material (270) may be separated from each other in the horizontal direction of the electric range as a whole and formed as an integral part in the vertical direction. That is, the longitudinal direction of one first insulating material (270) may be arranged parallel to the vertical direction of the electric range.
[0276] The second insulation material (280) is placed between the supporter (130) and the cover plate (120), and may be placed at at least one position on the upper or lower side of the first insulation material (270). The second insulation material (280) may be formed to generally have a plate shape.
[0277] In Fig. 18, the second insulation material (280) is placed on the upper side of the first insulation material (270), but in another embodiment, the second insulation material (280) may be placed on the lower side of the first insulation material (270). Alternatively, the second insulation material (280) may be placed on both the upper and lower sides of the first insulation material (270). Such embodiments are described in detail below.
[0278] The second insulation material (280) may be provided in a shape corresponding to that of the first insulation material (270). Accordingly, the second insulation material (280) may be separated from each other in the horizontal direction of the electric range as a whole and formed as an integral part in the vertical direction. That is, the longitudinal direction of one first insulation material (270) may be arranged parallel to the vertical direction of the electric range.
[0279] The second insulating material (280) is formed of a mica material and, together with the first insulating material (270), can suppress heat transfer from the heated body to the supporter (130) inside the electric range. In addition, the second insulating material (280) is positioned so as to be in contact with the first insulating material (270), so as to suppress the first insulating material (270) from being damaged by impact.
[0280] In particular, the first insulating material (270) made of carbon material is weak to impact and easily damaged, so the second insulating material (280) formed of a strong mica material can support the first insulating material (270) and prevent damage to the first insulating material (270), thereby increasing the durability of the first insulating material (270).
[0281] Meanwhile, the first insulation material (270) and the second insulation material (280) are formed to be shorter than the others in the area where the input interface is placed so as not to cover the input interface, thereby avoiding the input interface.
[0282] In an embodiment, by arranging a first insulating material (270) and a second insulating material (280) between a cover plate (120) and a coil substrate (140), heat transfer from a heated body to a supporter (130) is suppressed, thereby suppressing overheating of components coupled to the supporter (130), thereby improving the operating performance of the electric range.
[0283] In addition, the first insulation material (270) and the second insulation material (280) can prevent the solder that connects the thermistor (320) to the upper surface of the coil substrate (140) from melting, thereby preventing damage to the thermistor (320), thereby improving the durability of the electric range.
[0284] Of course, since the thermistor (320) measures the temperature of the heat passing through the cover plate (120), it does not suppress heat transfer to the thermistor (320), but by suppressing heat transfer from the heated body to the supporter (130) at a location other than the location where the thermistor (320) is placed, the amount of heat transferred to the solder can be reduced, and thus, melting of the solder can be effectively suppressed.
[0285] The thermistor (320) can be soldered and placed on the upper surface of the coil substrate (140). The thermistor (320) can be placed so as to protrude upward from the upper surface of the coil substrate (140).
[0286] The thermistor (320) can indirectly measure the temperature of the heated object. That is, the thermistor (320) does not directly contact the heated object and can be placed adjacent to the lower surface of the cover plate (120). Accordingly, the temperature of the heated object can be indirectly determined by measuring the temperature of the heat passing through the cover plate (120).
[0287] The thermistor (320) is positioned so as to be in contact with the thermal pad (330) or in close proximity to the thermal pad (330), and thus can measure the temperature of heat transferred from the heated object.
[0288] Based on information about the temperature measured by the thermistor (320), the control unit can control the operation of the electric range. For example, if the temperature measured by the thermistor (320) exceeds a set value, the amount of current applied to the working coil can be reduced or the operation of the working coil can be turned off to prevent overheating of various boards and other components provided in the electric range.
[0289] The shape of the thermistor (320) can be provided in various ways. For example, in the exemplary embodiment, it is generally provided in a rectangular shape, but is not limited thereto and may be formed in a circular, oval, or polygonal shape.
[0290] The thermistor (320) is arranged at at least one position among the upper surface of the working coil or the coil boundary (1412) between a plurality of working coils, and may be provided in multiple positions spaced apart from each other.
[0291] In order to clearly measure the temperature of the heat transferred to the entire coil substrate (140), a plurality of thermistors (320) need to be arranged uniformly and relatively densely throughout the coil substrate (140).
[0292] Accordingly, in the embodiment, a plurality of thermistors (320) are arranged at a position where a working coil is arranged on a coil substrate (140), and a plurality of thermistors (320) may also be arranged at a coil boundary portion (1412) where a working coil is not arranged.
[0293] In an embodiment, the thermistors (320) may be uniformly arranged across the entire coil substrate (140) on the upper surface of the coil substrate (140). Due to this structure, the electric range can indirectly measure the temperature of the heated object across the entire coil substrate (140) using the thermistors (320).
[0294] By using the measured temperature information, measures can be taken to prevent the inside of the electric range from overheating, thereby improving the operating performance of the electric range.
[0295] In an embodiment, the thermistor (320) may be formed in a generally rectangular shape. Accordingly, at the location where the working coil is placed, the thermistor (320) may be placed in a direction in which its longitudinal direction intersects the longitudinal direction of the coil boundary portion (1412).
[0296] Additionally, in the coil boundary portion (1412) formed to be relatively narrow, the thermistor (320) can be arranged so that its length direction is parallel to the length direction of the coil boundary portion (1412).
[0297] Fig. 19 is a perspective view showing a second insulating material (280) and a thermal pad (330) according to one embodiment. The electric range may include a thermal pad (330).
[0298] Thermal pads (330) are arranged in a position corresponding to the thermistor (320), and are provided in multiple numbers spaced apart from each other, and at least some of the multiple numbers can be arranged to be in contact with the lower surface of the cover plate (120).
[0299] The thermal pad (330) may be formed of a thermally conductive material, have adhesive strength, and be provided with a material whose shape can be deformed by an external force. That is, the thermal pad (330) may be provided in the form of a gel that has fluidity so that it can be deformed by an external force.
[0300] Accordingly, even if the thermal pad (330) and the thermistor (320) collide with each other, the thermal pad (330) deforms, so the thermal pad (330) can alleviate the impact applied to the thermistor (320) and protect the thermistor (320). In addition, since the thermal pad (330) is formed of a thermally conductive material, it can smoothly transfer the heat of the cover plate (120) to the thermistor (320).
[0301] The thermal pad (330) is attached to the lower surface of the cover plate (120) at a position corresponding to the position of the thermistor (320), and can effectively prevent the thermistor (320) from directly colliding with the cover plate (120) made of a hard material.
[0302] The thermal pad (330) can prevent the thermal pad (330) from being damaged by impact from the cover plate (120) by directly contacting the cover plate (120) and the thermistor (320), and can buffer the impact received by the thermistor (320) from an external force, thereby preventing damage to the thermistor (320).
[0303] Figure 20a is a plan view showing a state in which a coil substrate (140) is mounted on a supporter (130). Figure 21 is a plan view showing a state in which a second insulating material (280) is placed on the upper side of the supporter (130).
[0304] A single first insulation material (270) and a single second insulation material (280) are provided in corresponding shapes and can be placed in corresponding positions.
[0305] For example, as shown in FIGS. 20 and 21, the first insulation material (270) and the second insulation material (280) may be arranged to be separated from each other in the horizontal direction, and may be formed integrally in the vertical direction so that a plurality of working coils arranged to be separated in the vertical direction are all covered by one first insulation material (270) and one second insulation material (280).
[0306] Due to this structure, one first insulation material (270) and one second insulation material (280) can be manufactured to have the maximum area that can be installed in an electric range without blocking the slit (1323) through which light irradiated from the indicator substrate (250) passes.
[0307] Meanwhile, the supporter (130) may be formed with ventilation holes (137) through which air for cooling the coil substrate (140) and ferrite module (150) placed on the upper side of the supporter (130) is introduced. The ventilation holes (137) may also serve as air discharge ports through which air introduced by the blower fan (230) is discharged.
[0308] These ventilation holes (137) can be provided in various embodiments, and each embodiment is described below.
[0309] Fig. 20b is a drawing showing a supporter (130) according to another embodiment. Fig. 20c is a cross-sectional view taken along the 20c-20c direction in Fig. 20b. The ventilation hole (137) may be formed to penetrate the flat plate (135) of the supporter (130).
[0310] Air forced to flow through the lower space of the supporter (130) by the blower fan (230) can pass through the supporter (130) through the ventilation hole (137) and flow into the upper side of the supporter (130). The air flowing into the upper side of the supporter (130) comes into contact with the coil substrate (140) and ferrite module (150) arranged on the upper side of the supporter (130) to cool them, and thus can effectively suppress overheating of the coil substrate (140) and ferrite module (150).
[0311] The ventilation hole (137) can be formed at a position where the coil substrate (140) and the ferrite module (150) are not placed on the flat plate (135) of the supporter (130), and at a position where the slit (1323) through which light irradiated from the indicator substrate (250) passes is not formed.
[0312] For example, as illustrated in FIG. 20b, the ventilation hole (137) may be formed in at least one of the rear edge or the front edge of the supporter (130). The ventilation hole (137) may be formed to be thin and long along the edge of the supporter (130).
[0313] Accordingly, the ventilation hole (137) may be formed in a direction in which its longitudinal direction is parallel to the lateral direction of the supporter (130). Meanwhile, the ventilation hole (137) may be arranged at the front edge of the supporter (130), but may be formed, for example, at the rear of the input interface (160).
[0314] Referring to FIG. 20c, the ventilation holes (137) arranged at the front or rear edge of the supporter (130) may be arranged so that at least a portion thereof faces the lower surface of the cover plate (120). Accordingly, air introduced through the ventilation holes (137) can contact the lower surface of the cover plate (120) and cool the cover plate (120).
[0315] In addition, a space is formed between the cover plate (120) and the second insulation material (280) by the thermal pad (330), and the forced air can flow through this space to cool the entire lower surface of the cover plate (120).
[0316] Accordingly, the air that is effectively forced to flow through the cover plate (120) heated by heat conduction from the heated body can be cooled, thereby effectively suppressing the heating of each component under the cover plate (120).
[0317] Figure 20d is a drawing showing a supporter (130) according to another embodiment. The ventilation holes (137) may be arranged on both edges of the supporter (130). In this case, the ventilation holes (137) may be formed thin and long, and their length direction may be formed in a direction parallel to the front-back direction of the supporter (130).
[0318] Meanwhile, in another embodiment than that shown in FIG. 20c, the ventilation hole (137) may be arranged at the front edge of the supporter (130), for example, formed in front of the input interface (160).
[0319] By combining the embodiments illustrated in FIG. 20b and FIG. 20d, the ventilation hole (137) can be formed thin and long along the edge at at least one of the front, rear, or both sides of the supporter (130).
[0320] Fig. 20e is a drawing showing a supporter (130) according to another embodiment. Fig. 20f is a cross-sectional view taken along the line 20f-20f in Fig. 20e. For clarity, Fig. 20f shows the first insulation material (270), the second insulation material (280), and the cover plate (120).
[0321] The ventilation hole (137) can be formed in a location where the coil substrate (140) and ferrite module (150) are not positioned in the central portion of the flat plate (135) of the supporter (130), where the slit (1323) is not formed, and where the first insulation material (270) and the second insulation material (280) are not positioned.
[0322] The second piece (1322) provided on the flat plate (135) can be formed continuously in the front-back direction of the supporter (130) on the flat plate (135) of the supporter (130). For example, the ventilation hole (137) can be formed at a corresponding position between two adjacent slits (1323) on the second piece (1322).
[0323] That is, as illustrated in FIG. 20f, the ventilation hole (137) may be formed to penetrate the second piece (1322) in the vertical direction at a position corresponding to between two adjacent slits (1323) in the second piece (1322). In this case, the ventilation hole (137) may be formed in a shape such as a circle, an oval, or a polygon when viewed in plan.
[0324] In the embodiment, by forming a ventilation hole (137) in the supporter (130), the cover plate (120), the coil substrate (140) placed on the upper side of the supporter (130), and the ferrite module (150) are effectively cooled using forced air, thereby effectively suppressing overheating of the electric range.
[0325] Fig. 22 is a perspective view showing a coil substrate (140) according to one embodiment. Fig. 23 is a side view of Fig. 22. Fig. 24 is a perspective view showing a first insulating material (270) according to one embodiment. Fig. 25 is a perspective view showing the entire first insulating material (270).
[0326] The first insulating material (270) may be formed at a position corresponding to the thermistor (320) and may include a first hole (271) into which at least a portion of the thermistor (320) is inserted.
[0327] The second insulation material (280) may include a second hole (281) formed at a position corresponding to the thermistor (320) and the first hole (271) and into which at least a portion of the thermistor (320) is inserted.
[0328] The thermistor (320) is arranged at the coil boundary (1412) between a plurality of working coils in the vertical direction, and some of the first holes (271) and some of the second holes (281) can be formed at positions corresponding to the coil boundary (1412) between the plurality of working coils.
[0329] Some of the thermistors (320) may be placed on the working coil, and others may be placed on the coil boundary (1412) between the working coils. Accordingly, some of the first holes (271) and the second holes (281) may be formed at positions corresponding to the working coil, and others may be formed at positions corresponding to the coil boundary (1412).
[0330] The first hole (271) and the second hole (281) may be provided in a shape corresponding to the shape of the thermistor (320). For example, if the thermistor (320) is formed in a rectangular shape, the first hole (271) and the second hole (281) may also be formed in a rectangular shape corresponding to this. The areas of the first hole (271) and the second hole (281) are formed to be larger than the area of the thermistor (320), so that the thermistor (320) can be easily inserted into the first hole (271) and the second hole (281).
[0331] When the coil substrate (140), the first insulation material (270), and the second insulation material (280) are assembled, the thermistor (320) coupled to the upper surface of the coil substrate (140) is inserted into the first hole (271) and the second hole (281) formed in the first insulation material (270) and the second insulation material (280) and may be placed in contact with the thermal pad (330) disposed on the upper side thereof, or may be placed very closely thereto without contact.
[0332] Due to this structure, the first insulation material (270) and the second insulation material (280) block the heat transferred from the heated body to the coil substrate (140), while the thermistor (320) coupled to the coil substrate (140) is placed in the first hole (271) and the second hole (281) and receives heat from the thermal pad (330) to accurately measure the temperature of the heated body.
[0333] Of course, since the thermistor (320) receives heat from the insulation pad and measures the temperature, it can indirectly measure the temperature of the heated object. For example, if the electric range stores and retains information about the temperature value decreasing as it passes through the cover plate (120), the temperature of the heated object can be measured more accurately by compensating for the temperature decrease from the temperature actually measured by the thermistor (320).
[0334] As described above, the first insulation material (270) and the second insulation material (280) can be provided in various embodiments with different stacking sequences and stacking numbers. This will be described below.
[0335] As an example, as shown in FIG. 18, the first insulation material (270) is placed on the upper side of the coil substrate (140), the second insulation material (280) is placed on the upper side of the first insulation material (270), and the thermal pad (330) is placed on the upper side of the second insulation material (280) and may be provided to close the upper end of the second hole (281).
[0336] In this structure, the coil substrate (140), the first insulation material (270), the second insulation material (280), and the thermal pad (330) can be sequentially arranged from bottom to top in the electric range. The thermal pad (330) can be arranged so as to be adhered to the lower surface of the cover plate (120) and the upper surface of the second insulation material (280).
[0337] In this case, the first insulating material (270) and the cover plate (120) formed of a solid material can be prevented from making direct contact, and a second insulating material (280) made of a material resistant to external impact can be placed between them.
[0338] Accordingly, the first insulating material (270), which is formed of a relatively fragile material, can be prevented from being damaged by colliding with the cover plate (120) due to external impact.
[0339] In another embodiment, as illustrated in FIG. 3, the electric range may include a second insulating material (280) disposed between the coil substrate (140) and the first insulating material (270) in the aforementioned laminated structure.
[0340] A second insulating material (280) is placed between the coil substrate (140) and the first insulating material (270), so that the second insulating material (280) protects the first insulating material (270), thereby effectively preventing the first insulating material (270) from being damaged by the coil substrate (140) and the supporter (130) to which the coil substrate (140) is joined.
[0341] In another embodiment, the second insulation material (280) may be placed on the upper side of the coil substrate (140), the first insulation material (270) may be placed on the upper side of the second insulation material (280), and the thermal pad (330) may be placed on the upper side of the first insulation material (270) and may be provided to close the upper end of the first hole (271).
[0342] In this structure, the coil substrate (140), second insulation material (280), first insulation material (270), and thermal pad (330) can be sequentially arranged from bottom to top in the electric range.
[0343] Since the first insulation material (270) having higher insulation performance than the second insulation material (280) faces the cover plate (120), the first insulation material (270) can effectively block heat transfer from the cover plate (120) to the inside of the electric range.
[0344] At this time, the thermal pad (330) is placed between the cover plate (120) and the first insulating material (270), and the upper and lower surfaces can be attached to the cover plate (120). Accordingly, the thermal pad (330) can cushion the first insulating material (270) that comes into contact with the cover plate, thereby preventing the thermal pad (330) from colliding with the cover plate (120) and being damaged.
[0345] Meanwhile, since the second insulating material (280) placed between the first insulating material (270) and the coil substrate (140) protects the first insulating material (270), the first insulating material (270) can be effectively prevented from being damaged by the coil substrate (140) and the supporter (130) to which the coil substrate (140) is joined.
[0346] Fig. 26 is a cross-sectional view of an electric range viewed in the direction 26-26 of Fig. 21. Fig. 27 is a cross-sectional view of an electric range viewed in the direction 27-27 of Fig. 21. For clarity, the cover plate (120) is illustrated together in Figs. 26 and 27. Fig. 28 is an enlarged view of parts 28(a) and 28(b) of Fig. 26.
[0347] Fig. 29 is a perspective view of Fig. 28. For clarity, the cover plate (120) is omitted in Fig. 29.
[0348] In FIG. 26 and FIG. 27, a structure is shown in which a coil substrate (140), a first insulating material (270), a second insulating material (280), and a thermal pad (330) are laminated in the order shown in FIG. 18 as an example.
[0349] As shown in FIGS. 26 and 27, the thermal pad (330) is placed between the cover plate (120) and the second insulating material (280), and can be placed to close the upper end of the second hole (281) formed in the second insulating material (280).
[0350] As illustrated in FIGS. 26 and 27, the thermistor (320) can be inserted into a first hole (271) formed in a first insulating material (270) and a second hole (281) formed in a second insulating material (280) and positioned to face the thermal pad (330). In areas other than the first hole (271) and the second hole (281), the first insulating material (270) and the second insulating material (280) can block heat transferred from the heated object.
[0351] Therefore, the heat generated in the heated body can be transferred to the thermistor (320) through the thermal pad (330). The thermistor (320) can indirectly measure the temperature of the heated body from the transferred heat.
[0352] Referring to FIG. 28, the thermistor (320) may include a body (320a) and an electrode (320b). The body (320a) may be provided with a sensing chip for detecting temperature therein. The electrodes (320b) may be provided as a pair, arranged on both sides of the body (320a), and may be electrically connected to the sensing chip.
[0353] Referring to Fig. 29, the body (320a) may generally have a hexahedral shape with curved surfaces formed at the corners. The electrodes (320b) are arranged on both sides of the body (320a) and may generally have a disk shape.
[0354] A pair of sensor pads (P_s) and a pair of electrodes (320b) printed on the upper surface of the coil substrate (140) can be connected, for example, by soldering (320c).
[0355] The solder (320c) is attached to the outer surface of the electrode (320b) and the upper surface of the sensor pad (P_s) to electrically connect the electrode (320b) and the sensor pad (P_s). As long as the electrode (320b) and the sensor pad (P_s) can be electrically connected, the shape of the solder (320c) can be variously provided.
[0356] If the distance between the electrode (320b) and the sensor pad (P_s) is too far and it is difficult to connect them by soldering alone, a lead wire connecting the electrode (320b) and the sensor pad (P_s) can be prepared, and soldering (320c) to the lead wire can be performed to firmly connect the electrode (320b) and the sensor pad (P_s).
[0357] If excessive heat is transferred from the heated body to the thermistor (320), the solder (320c) may melt, and thus the thermistor (320) may be damaged or malfunction.
[0358] Accordingly, in the embodiment, the first insulation material (270) and the second insulation material (280) can block the heat transferred from the heated body in areas other than the first hole (271) and the second hole (281) where the thermistor (320) is placed.
[0359] Meanwhile, when the working coil (140a) operates on the coil substrate (140), considerable heat may be generated in the coil substrate (140). In this case, if the body (320a) of the thermistor (320) is in contact with the coil substrate (140) or is located very close to the coil substrate (140), the temperature of the heat generated in the coil substrate (140) can be measured.
[0360] Since the thermistor (320) is intended to measure heat transferred from a heated object, if the temperature of the coil substrate (140) is measured, the accuracy of the temperature measurement of the thermistor (320) may decrease. Therefore, it is necessary to sufficiently space the body (320a) of the thermistor (320) and the upper surface of the coil substrate (140) to prevent the thermistor (320) from measuring the temperature of the coil substrate (140).
[0361] To this end, a recessed groove (G_th) sunk downwardly may be formed on the upper portion of the coil substrate (140) at a portion corresponding to the body (320a) of the thermistor (320). The shape of the recessed groove (G_th) corresponds to the shape of the body (320a), but may have a cross-sectional area larger than that of the body (320a). By providing the recessed groove (G_th), the body (320a) of the thermistor (320) is sufficiently spaced apart from the coil substrate (140) in the vertical direction, so that the temperature is measured by heat transferred from the heated object without following the temperature of the coil substrate (140), thereby improving the accuracy of temperature measurement.
[0362] In another embodiment, a hole may be formed penetrating the coil substrate (140) in a position and shape corresponding to the recessed groove (G_th). In another embodiment, a space in the form of a combination of a hole and a groove may be formed to separate the body (320a) of the thermistor (320) and the coil substrate (140) from each other.
[0363] At least some of the plurality of thermal pads (330) and the plurality of thermistors (320) may be in contact with each other. Due to processing tolerances, assembly tolerances, etc., not all of the plurality of thermistors (320) may be in contact with the thermal pads (330), but at least some of them may be in contact with each other.
[0364] However, even if the thermal pad (330) and thermistor (320) do not contact each other, they are arranged very close to each other, so the error in the measured temperature due to non-contact can be significantly reduced.
[0365] Meanwhile, as described above, when the thermal pad (330) and the thermistor (320) come into contact with each other, the thermal pad (330) may be deformed by an external force. Therefore, even when the thermistor (320) collides with the thermal pad (330), the thermal pad (330) is deformed to alleviate the impact received by the thermistor (320), thereby effectively preventing damage to the thermistor (320).
[0366] Fig. 30 is an exploded view showing a temperature sensing unit (2515-1), which is a temperature sensing device according to another embodiment, and a sensor holder (2519) supporting the same. Fig. 31 is a cross-sectional view showing a state in which the temperature sensing unit (2515-1) is mounted on an electric range. Fig. 32 is a cross-sectional view showing a state in which the temperature sensing unit (2515-1) and the sensor holder (2519) are combined.
[0367] FIG. 30 illustrates an embodiment in which an insertion hole (H_th) having a circular cross-section is formed through a coil substrate (140) so that a temperature sensing unit (2515-1) having a circular cross-section can be at least partially inserted.
[0368] The present invention is not limited thereto, but will be described below based on an insertion hole (H_th) having a circular cross-section as illustrated.
[0369] The cross-sectional area of the insertion hole (H_th) can be formed larger than the maximum horizontal cross-sectional area of the temperature sensing unit (2515-1).
[0370] As described below, the maximum horizontal cross-sectional area of the temperature sensing unit (2515-1) can be formed on the protruding surface (2515b-13) of the sensor body (2515b-1).
[0371] Accordingly, since the cross-sectional area of the insertion hole (H_th) is set to be larger than the maximum horizontal cross-sectional area of the temperature sensing unit (2515-1), the temperature sensing unit (2515-1) can be inserted into the insertion hole (H_th) without interference or contact with the coil substrate (140).
[0372] Meanwhile, the temperature sensing unit (2515-1) may be configured to be indirectly supported in the insertion hole (H_th) of the coil substrate (140) while being separated from the coil substrate (140) through a sensor holder (2519).
[0373] As described below, the radially outer end of the sensor holder (2519) is coupled to the edge of the insertion hole (H_th), and the sensor body (2515b-1) of the temperature sensing unit (2515-1) is coupled to the radially inner end of the sensor holder (2519), so that the temperature sensing unit (2515-1) can be separated from the insertion hole (H_th) and the coil substrate (140), and the heat generated in the working coil (140a) can be minimized from being conducted to the temperature sensing unit (2515-1), and the temperature sensing unit (2515-1) can track the temperature of the cover plate (120).
[0374] The temperature sensing unit (2515-1) may be positioned in the same position as the thermistor (320) described above in the electric range. Hereinafter, with reference to FIGS. 30 to 32, exemplary detailed configurations of the temperature sensing unit (2515-1) and sensor holder (2519) according to the present invention will be described.
[0375] Referring to FIGS. 30 to 32, the temperature sensing unit (2515-1) may be configured to include a sensing chip (2515a-1) that generates an output signal related to a sensed temperature, a sensor body (2515b-1) that accommodates the sensing chip (2515a-1) therein, and a pair of lead cables (2515c-1) that are electrically connected to the sensing chip (2515a-1) and spaced apart from each other with the sensor body (2515b-1) interposed therebetween, and each electrically connected to the sensing chip (2515a).
[0376] FIGS. 30 to 32 illustrate a temperature sensing unit (2515-1) having a configuration in which a sensing chip (2515a-1) is positioned close to an upper surface (2515b-11) that serves as a temperature sensing surface within a sensor body (2515b-1) having a generally cylindrical shape.
[0377] One end of a pair of lead cables (2515c-1) may extend through the lower surface (2515b-12) of the sensor body (2515b-1) into the interior of the sensor body (2515b-1) and may be electrically connected to the sensing chip (2515a-1). The other end of the pair of lead cables (2515c-1) may extend through the ferrite core module (27) as illustrated and may be electrically connected to the main board (170) described above.
[0378] Similar to the thermistor (320), the temperature sensing unit (2515-1) can indirectly measure the temperature of the heated object by sensing the temperature of the cover plate (120). To facilitate sensing the temperature of the cover plate (120), the upper surface (2515b-11) of the sensor body (2515b-1), which serves as the temperature sensing surface, can be positioned in direct contact with the thermal pad (330) or in close proximity thereto.
[0379] Meanwhile, as described above, when the thermal pad (330) and the temperature sensing unit (2515-1) come into contact with each other, the thermal pad (330) may be deformed by an external force. Accordingly, even when the temperature sensing unit (2515-1) collides with the thermal pad (330), the thermal pad (330) is deformed to alleviate the impact received by the temperature sensing unit (2515-1), thereby effectively preventing damage to the temperature sensing unit (2515-1).
[0380] Additionally, as in the case of the thermistor (320), the temperature sensing unit (2515-1) can be placed at a position corresponding to the first hole (271) and the second hole (281).
[0381] Meanwhile, the sensor body (2515b-1) may include a protruding surface portion (2515b-13) formed between the upper surface (2515b-11) and the lower surface (2515b-12) and closer to the upper surface (2515b-11).
[0382] As illustrated, the protruding surface portion (2515b-13) may be provided in a cylindrical shape that protrudes radially outward to have a larger outer diameter than the upper and lower portions of the sensor body (2515b-1).
[0383] As such, the protruding surface portion (2515b-13) is formed to have an outer diameter larger than the outer diameter of the lower portion of the sensor body (2515b-1), so that, as described later, after the lower portion of the sensor body (2515b-1) is coupled to the sensor coupling portion (2519a) of the sensor holder (2519), it can function as a stopper that prevents the sensor body (2515b-1) from moving downward or being separated from the sensor holder (2519).
[0384] Additionally, the electric range may further include a sensor holder (2519) that supports the temperature sensing unit (2515-1) in a state separate from the coil substrate (140).
[0385] The sensor holder (2519) may be configured to include a sensor coupling portion (2519a) into which a temperature sensing portion (2515-1) is at least partially inserted and coupled, a substrate coupling portion (2519b) coupled to an insertion hole (H_th) of a coil substrate (140), and a bridge portion (2519c) disposed between the sensor coupling portion (2519a) and the substrate coupling portion (2519b) and connecting the sensor coupling portion (2519a) and the substrate coupling portion (2519b).
[0386] The sensor coupling portion (2519a) is inserted upwardly at the lower end of the aforementioned sensor body (2515b-1), and is resiliently and detachably coupled to the lower end of the sensor body (2515b-1) in the inserted state, thereby preventing the sensor body (2515b-1) from being detached.
[0387] As described above, in response to the shape of the lower part of the sensor body (2515b-1) having a cylindrical shape, the sensor coupling portion (2519a) can be formed to have a hollow cylindrical shape.
[0388] At this time, the inner diameter of the sensor coupling portion (2519a) may be formed somewhat smaller than the inner diameter of the lower portion of the sensor body (2515b-1) so that it can be elastically coupled to the outer circumference of the lower portion of the sensor body (2515b-1) after being inserted into the lower portion of the sensor body (2515b-1).
[0389] Accordingly, when the lower part of the sensor body (2515b-1) is inserted, the sensor coupling part (2519a) can be elastically deformed and elastically coupled to the outer surface of the lower part of the sensor body (2515b-1).
[0390] In order to facilitate such elastic bonding, the sensor coupling portion (2519a) may be formed of an elastic material, and preferably, a material capable of a certain elastic deformation, such as natural rubber or synthetic rubber, may be selected.
[0391] Meanwhile, the substrate joint (2519b) is resiliently and detachably coupled to the edge of the insertion hole (H_th) of the coil substrate (140) to prevent the sensor holder (2519) from being separated from the coil substrate (140).
[0392] In response to the shape of the insertion hole (H_th) having a circular cross-section, the substrate bonding portion (2519b) can be formed to have a ring shape with a predetermined radial width.
[0393] At this time, a ring-shaped engaging groove (2519b-1) that is concavely formed toward the radial inside may be formed in the sensor coupling portion (2519a) so that it can be elastically coupled to the edge of the insertion hole (H_th).
[0394] The upward width of the hanging groove (2519b-1) may be formed to be somewhat smaller than the upward thickness of the coil substrate (140).
[0395] Therefore, when the edge of the insertion hole (H_th) is inserted into the inside of the catch groove (2519b-1), the substrate joint portion (2519b) can be elastically deformed and elastically joined to the edge of the insertion hole (H_th).
[0396] Meanwhile, in order to prevent the insertion hole (H_th) from being detached from the insertion hole (H_th) after being elastically coupled to the insertion hole (H_th), the outer diameter of the engaging groove (2519b-1) may be set to be larger than the diameter of the insertion hole (H_th), and the inner diameter of the engaging groove (2519b-1) may be set to be smaller than or equal to the diameter of the insertion hole (H_th).
[0397] Through this, as shown in FIGS. 31 and 32, the substrate joint portion (2519b) can be effectively prevented from being detached in the vertical and horizontal directions while being coupled to the insertion hole (H_th).
[0398] In order to facilitate such elastic bonding, the substrate bonding portion (2519b) may be formed of an elastic material, similar to the sensor bonding portion (2519a) described above, and preferably, a material capable of a certain elastic deformation, such as natural rubber or synthetic rubber, may be selected.
[0399] Meanwhile, the bridge portion (2519c) serves to connect the sensor coupling portion (2519a) and the substrate coupling portion (2519b).
[0400] As illustrated, the bridge portion (2519c) may be formed in a plate-like ring shape in which the radially inner end is integrally connected to the outer surface of the sensor coupling portion (2519a) and the radially outer end is integrally connected to the inner surface of the substrate coupling portion (2519b).
[0401] Therefore, the radial reflection width of the bridge portion (2519c) can correspond to the gap between the sensor coupling portion (2519a) and the substrate coupling portion (2519b).
[0402] Meanwhile, the bridge portion (2519c) may be configured to exert a pressing force to push the upper surface (2515b-11) of the sensor body (2515b-1) toward the cover plate (120) while the temperature sensing portion (2515-1) is coupled to the sensor coupling portion (2519a) and the substrate coupling portion (2519b) is coupled to the edge of the insertion hole (H_th).
[0403] To this end, as illustrated in FIGS. 31 and 32, the bridge portion (2519c) may be formed into a cone shape having an upward slope as it progresses from the radially outer end toward the radially inner end.
[0404] That is, since the bridge portion (2519c) is configured in a cone shape, when the temperature sensing portion (2515-1) is placed under the cover plate (120), the bridge portion (2519c) can perform a function similar to a type of plate spring that generates a restoring force that acts to press the upper surface of the sensor body (2515b-1) toward the cover plate (120).
[0405] In order to allow the restoring force through elastic deformation to be easily applied, the substrate coupling portion (2519b) may be formed of an elastic material, similar to the sensor coupling portion (2519a) and the substrate coupling portion (2519b) described above, and preferably, a material capable of a certain elastic deformation, such as natural rubber or synthetic rubber, may be selected.
[0406] In another embodiment, the bridge portion (2519c) of the sensor holder (2519) may be provided with at least one hole for ventilation formed through the vertical direction.
[0407] Through these holes for ventilation, overheating of the coil substrate (140) can be effectively prevented, and the phenomenon in which the temperature sensing unit (2515-1) tracks the temperature of the coil substrate (140) due to the heat generation of the working coil (140a) can be additionally improved.
[0408] Meanwhile, since the sensor holder (2519) is provided in a cylindrical shape, the first hole (271) and the second hole (281) can be formed in a circular shape when viewed in plan view.
[0409] Although the present invention has been described with reference to the drawings exemplified above, it is to be understood that the present invention is not limited to the embodiments and drawings disclosed herein, and that various modifications may be made by those skilled in the art within the scope of the technical idea of the present invention. Furthermore, even if the operational effects according to the configuration of the present invention have not been explicitly described while describing the embodiments of the present invention, it is natural that the effects predictable by the corresponding configuration should also be acknowledged.
