Description

home appliances

[0001] The present invention relates to a home appliance, and more particularly, to a home appliance having a heating coil assembly.

[0002] Cooking appliances are a type of home appliance used for cooking food. They are installed in kitchens and cook food according to the user's preferences. These cooking appliances can be categorized in various ways based on the heat source, form, or type of fuel used.

[0003] Cooking appliances can be categorized by their cooking method. They can be categorized into open and closed types, based on the space in which the food is placed. Closed types include ovens and microwave ovens, while open types include cooktops and hobs.

[0004] Among open cooking appliances, cooktops are designed to heat food contained in a cooking vessel through at least one burner. These cooktops may be provided with electric burners or gas burners. Furthermore, cooktops can be implemented as standalone units or as oven ranges, which include an oven beneath the cooktop.

[0005] An example of a cooktop equipped with an electric burner is an induction cooker. An induction cooker performs cooking functions using induction heating. In an induction cooker, when current is applied to the heating coil, eddy currents are generated in the magnetic cooking vessel. These eddy currents act as resistance, heating the cooking vessel and cooking food.

[0006] These induction cookers do not require gas combustion and therefore do not produce exhaust gases. Furthermore, by generating heat immediately within the container itself, induction cookers minimize heat transfer through radiation or conduction, allowing for rapid heating of food.

[0007] Typically, in an induction heating cooker, the position where the cooking vessel is to be placed is marked on the top plate above the heating coil, and the cooking vessel is heated by the heating coil while placed on the marked position.

[0008] An induction heating cooker may include one or more working coils and a circuit board. The working coil serves to transmit electromagnetic force to the cooking vessel. Typically, the working coil may be formed by spirally winding a wire. The circuit board may serve to control the supply of induced current to the working coil.

[0009] Recently, instead of a working coil in the form of a spirally wound wire, a working coil in the form of a coil pattern formed on a circuit board is also used.

[0010] Of the costs and time required to manufacture an induction heating cooker, the manufacturing of the working coil accounts for a significant portion. Among these, the cost of the wire and the considerable time and expense involved in winding it are significant.

[0011] Instead of forming a working coil by winding a wire, if the working coil is formed by forming a coil-shaped pattern on a circuit board, the cost and time required for manufacturing the working coil can be reduced.

[0012] High-frequency power is applied to the working coil, which generates significant heat. This is especially true in induction cooking appliances, which require high power. The high power applied results in significant heat generation in the working coil.

[0013] When forming a working coil by forming a coil-shaped pattern on a circuit board, the limited surface area of the circuit board inevitably forces the coil pattern to be concentrated within a narrow area. Consequently, the circuit board on which the working coil is formed inevitably experiences a significant amount of heat relative to its surface area, which can lead to excessive temperature increases.

[0014] Meanwhile, induction heating cookers have recently been developed that automatically recognize the size and position of a cooking vessel, even if it isn't positioned in a specific location, and perform heating appropriately. For these types of induction heating cookers to achieve more effective heating, the number of working coils they feature must increase.

[0015] Therefore, in the induction heating cooking device of the above type, it is difficult to apply a working coil in the form of a coil pattern due to the problem of temperature rise caused by the concentration of the coil pattern.

[0016] The purpose of the present invention is to provide a home appliance having an improved structure so that the temperature rise of a heating coil in the form of a coil pattern can be suppressed.

[0017] Another object of the present invention is to provide a home appliance having an improved structure so that the density of the area occupied by the heating coil within the appliance can be improved.

[0018] Another object of the present invention is to provide a home appliance having an improved structure so that heating coils can be arranged more densely while suppressing temperature rise of the heating coils.

[0019] In addition, another object of the present invention is to provide a home appliance having an improved structure so that the density of the area occupied by the heating coil within the device can be improved while the loss of the original plate used in manufacturing the coil substrate can be reduced.

[0020] In addition, another object of the present invention is to provide a home appliance having an improved structure so that the connection structure between the heating coil and the electric part can be simplified.

[0021] In addition, another object of the present invention is to provide a home appliance having an improved structure so that a decrease in the cross-sectional area of a heating coil pattern per turn due to foil loss occurring during the process of forming a coil pattern can be suppressed.

[0022] In addition, another object of the present invention is to provide a home appliance with an improved structure so that the appearance of the home appliance is not deteriorated due to a heating coil-related structure.

[0095] The present invention forms a heating coil in the form of a pattern coil as a result of a plurality of coil patterns stacked vertically and connected vertically, thereby increasing the length of the heating coil in the vertical direction, thereby effectively increasing the pattern cross-sectional area per turn of the heating coil.

[0096] The present invention can effectively suppress the temperature rise of the heating coil by suppressing the increase in the horizontal size of the heating coil and increasing the cross-sectional area of the pattern per turn of the heating coil.

[0097] In addition, the present invention can effectively improve the density of the area occupied by the heating coil within the cooktop by forming the outer shape of the heating coil disposed in the coil module, which is formed in a polygonal shape similar to the outer shape of the cooktop, in a polygonal shape similar to the outer shape of the coil module.

[0099] In addition, the present invention forms a heating coil as a result of a plurality of coil wires stacked vertically and connected vertically, and forms a horizontal twist structure and a vertical twist structure in the heating coil, thereby minimizing an increase in the horizontal size of the heating coil while increasing the cross-sectional area of the pattern per turn of the heating coil.

[0100] The present invention enables the heating coils to be arranged more closely than in a cooktop of the same standard by reducing the size of the heating coil while lowering the density of the current flowing in the heating coil, and also enables the maximum output to be maintained for a longer period of time than in a cooktop of the same standard.

[0101] Accordingly, the present invention can provide not only improved heating efficiency by using small and densely arranged heating coils, but also provide higher output for a longer period of time.

[0102] In addition, the present invention enables the loss of the original plate used in manufacturing the coil module to be reduced by making the heating coil assembly be formed by a combination of a plurality of coil modules, and also enables the space required for arranging the cooktop control panel on the cooktop to be effectively secured.

[0103] Furthermore, according to the present invention, wiring for connecting the heating coil and the sensing coil to the terminal portion is formed in a patterned form on the coil module itself, and the connection between the heating coil and the sensing coil and the electrical portion can be made simply by connecting the terminal portion and the electrical portion. Accordingly, the connection structure between the heating coil and the sensing coil and the electrical portion can be formed very simply.

[0104] Accordingly, the present invention not only enables the connection work between the heating coil assembly and the electric part to be performed easily and quickly, but also provides the effect of preventing the space inside the cooktop where the heating coil assembly and the electric part are accommodated from becoming complicated due to a large number of wires.

[0105] In addition, the present invention can effectively reduce resistance and heat generation generated in the first vertical connection portion by providing a plurality of vias in the first vertical connection portion and thereby increasing the amount of conductor provided in the vias.

[0106] In addition, the heating coil of the present invention can be formed to satisfy a condition in which the length of the base of the coil pattern is set to a range of 1.47 to 1.57 times the thickness of the coil pattern.

[0107] The heating coil of the present invention can be formed to have a sufficient pattern cross-sectional area per turn necessary to effectively suppress a temperature rise of the heating coil, even if the length of the upper side becomes shorter by 20% or more than the lower side during the coil pattern formation process.

[0108] In addition, the present invention effectively suppresses the deterioration of the appearance of the home appliance caused by the heating coil assembly by forming the surface of the coil module formed by the mask in a color identical to or similar to the color of the cover portion, thereby allowing the heating coil assembly to be installed inside the cooktop without being easily visible from the outside of the cooktop.

[0202] [Overall structure of the cooktop]

[0203] Fig. 4 is an exploded perspective view showing the exploded state of the cooktop shown in Fig. 2, and Fig. 5 is a drawing showing the state in which electrical components are installed on the bottom surface of the supporter shown in Fig. 4.

[0204] Referring to FIGS. 1 to 5, the cooktop (100) may include a case (110) and a top plate (120). According to the present embodiment, the exterior of the cooktop (100) may be formed by the case (110) and the top plate (120). The case (110) may be disposed below the top plate (120) and may form the front, back, side, and bottom surfaces of the cooktop. The top plate (120) may be disposed on the top of the cooktop (100) and may form the upper exterior surface of the cooktop (100).

[0205] A receiving space may be formed inside the case (110). The receiving space formed inside the case (110) may be opened upward. For example, the case (110) may be formed in a hexahedral shape with an open upper side. Various internal components constituting the cooktop (100) may be accommodated in the receiving space surrounded by the top plate (120) and the case (110).

[0206] According to the present embodiment, the case (110) may include a bottom portion (111). The bottom portion (111) forms the bottom surface of the case (110) and may define a lower boundary surface of the receiving space. The bottom portion (111) may be arranged on the lower side of the top plate (120) and may form a plane parallel to the top plate (120).

[0207] In addition, the case (110) may include a side wall portion (113). The side wall portion (113) may form the front, back, and both sides of the case (110), and may be formed in the form of a vertical wall extending upward from the edge of the bottom portion (111). This side wall portion (113) may define a horizontal boundary surface of the receiving space.

[0208] In addition, the cooktop (100) may be equipped with a heating element for heating food to be cooked or a container containing food (hereinafter referred to as "heating target"). The heating element may be equipped with at least one burner. For example, the burner may be equipped in a form including a heating coil or a heating wire coil that uses electricity.

[0209] In this embodiment, the cooktop (100) is exemplified as being provided in the form of an induction heating cooking device. The cooking zone of this cooktop (100) may include a heating coil. The cooking zone including the heating coil may be operated by a high-frequency current applied by an inverter, thereby generating a strong magnetic field.

[0210] In this way, the magnetic field lines generated in the burner including the heating coil generate eddy currents in the container, and as the eddy currents flow in the container, heat is generated, so that the container can be heated, and as the container is heated, food contained in the container can be heated.

[0211] In addition, the cooktop (100) of the present embodiment may be equipped with a control panel (130; hereinafter, referred to as a “cooktop control panel”). The cooktop control panel (130) may be placed on the top plate (120). The cooktop control panel (130) may be equipped with an operation unit including various switches for controlling the operation of the cooktop (100), and a display for indicating the operating status of the cooktop (100).

[0212] A cooktop (100) may be provided with a plurality of indicator lights (L). The indicator lights (L) may be displayed on the top plate (120) of the cooktop. These indicator lights (L) may display information related to the position of the food to be heated or the cooking vessel containing the food (hereinafter referred to as "heating target"), the heating status of the heating target, the temperature, etc.

[0213] The cooktop (100) of the present embodiment may include a heating coil assembly (140). The heating coil assembly (140) is provided to constitute a heating unit of the cooktop (100) and may be placed in a receiving space within the cooktop (100).

[0214] Additionally, the cooktop (100) may include a supporter (150). The supporter (150) may be placed on the lower side of the top plate (120). This supporter (150) may be placed in a space surrounded by the top plate (120) and the case (110), i.e., a receiving space.

[0215] The supporter (150) may form a frame within the cooktop (100) to support various internal components constituting the cooktop. As an example, the supporter (150) may be formed in a hexahedral shape with an open lower side. For example, the supporter (150) may be formed in a shape that is roughly the case (110) turned upside down, but may be formed to be slightly smaller than the case (110).

[0216] According to the present embodiment, the accommodation space can be formed inside the supporter (150), and can be formed as a space surrounded by the bottom part (111) of the case (110) and the supporter (150). That is, various internal components constituting the cooktop (100) can be accommodated inside the supporter (150).

[0217] According to the present embodiment, the supporter (150) may also provide a coil base function. That is, a ferrite core (160) may be installed on the supporter (150), and the heating coil assembly (1000) may be installed on the upper side of the supporter (150) on which the ferrite core (160) is installed.

[0218] As an example, a ferrite core (160) may be formed by a combination of a plurality of ferrite modules (161) provided as separate parts. That is, the ferrite core (160) may be provided in a structure that can be separated into a plurality of ferrite modules (161).

[0219] In this embodiment, it is exemplified that each ferrite module (161) can be individually coupled to a supporter (150). To this end, a structure for fitting-fitting with the ferrite module (161) may be formed on the supporter (150). Each ferrite module (161) can be coupled to the supporter (150) by being fitted into this structure.

[0220] Each ferrite module (161) includes ferrite capable of forming a magnetic field around the ferrite module (161). As an example, each ferrite module (161) may be provided in a form in which the ferrite is insert-molded.

[0221] According to the ferrite core (160) formed by combining a plurality of ferrite modules (161) provided as described above, the work required to install the ferrite core (160) in the cooktop (100) can be reduced. In addition, the ferrite core (160) has an advantage in that, if a part of the ferrite core (160) is damaged, it can be repaired by replacing the ferrite module (161) of the corresponding part.

[0222] Each indicator light (L) can be implemented by a lighting module (180). The lighting module (180) is configured to emit light toward the light display area of the top plate (120). As an example, the indicator light (L) can be implemented by light that the lighting module (180) shines on the light display area of the top plate (120).

[0223] In this embodiment, the light display area is defined as an area where light emitted from the lighting module (180) can be recognized externally through the top plate (120), i.e., an area where light emitted from the lighting module (180) is illuminated on the top plate (120), and is a predetermined portion of the entire area of the top plate (120).

[0224] As an example, the light display area may be a virtual area designated as a portion where light emitted from a lighting module (180) is to be illuminated on the top plate (120). In this case, the light display area is not a portion that is visibly displayed on the top plate (120) by a method such as performing a separate surface treatment on the surface of the top plate (120), but is merely a virtual area.

[0225] As another example, the light display area may be an area that is conspicuously displayed on the top plate (120), such as by performing a separate surface treatment on the surface of the top plate (120).

[0226] The lighting module (180) may include a light source. As an example, an LED may be used as the light source, but the type of light source applicable as the light source is not limited to LED.

[0227] The lighting module (180) may include multiple light sources, and each lighting module (180) may have multiple light sources arranged at predetermined intervals in the front-back direction. As an example, the lighting module (180) may be provided in a form in which multiple light sources are mounted on a PCB in the form of a PCB. The number of light sources per lighting module (180) and the front-back length of the PCB may be appropriately set according to the size and intensity of the lighting to be implemented through the lighting module (180).

[0228] In addition, a plurality of lighting modules (180) may be arranged on the cooktop, and the plurality of lighting modules (180) may be arranged laterally spaced apart by a predetermined interval. The number of lighting modules (180) and the interval between the lighting modules (180) may be appropriately set in consideration of the size and number of heating coils, the interval between the heating coils, etc.

[0229] At least a portion of the lighting module (180) may be placed between the supporter (150) and the bottom portion (111). As an example, the lighting module (180) may be placed in the receiving space. More specifically, the lighting module (180) may be placed in a space surrounded by the bottom portion (111) of the case (110) and the supporter (150).

[0230] Various electrical components can be installed inside the cooktop (100), i.e., in the receiving space. For example, a main PCB (171), a switching mode power supply (SMPS; 162), an inverter PCB (Inverter PCB; 163), a resonant PCB (Resonant PCB; 164), a noise filter (EMI filter; 165), a fan (176), etc. can be placed in the internal space of the cooktop (100).

[0231] Hereinafter, the above-mentioned electrical components are collectively referred to as an electrical unit (170). The electrical unit (170) may include at least one of a power processing unit and a coil control unit. The power processing unit is provided to supply power to the heating coil assembly (1000), and the power processing unit may include a switching mode power supply (SMPS; 162), a noise filter (EMI filter; 165), and the like. The coil control unit is provided to control the operation of the heating coil assembly (1000), and the coil control unit may include an inverter PCB (174), and the like.

[0232] [Overall structure of the heating coil assembly]

[0233] Fig. 6 is a drawing schematically showing the configuration of the heating coil assembly illustrated in Fig. 4, and Fig. 7 is a cross-sectional view schematically showing the laminated structure of the coil module illustrated in Fig. 6.

[0234] Referring to FIGS. 4 and 6, the heating coil assembly (1000) may include a plurality of heating coils (WC) arranged in a transverse direction. [0238] Each coil module (1001, 1003) may include a coil substrate laminate (1010). The coil substrate laminate (1010) may include a plurality of first coil substrate portions (1100) that are laminated in a vertical direction.

[0239] Each first coil substrate portion (1100) may include a first coil portion (1120). As an example, the first coil portion (1120) may be formed as a result of a metal foil laminated on the surface of the first coil substrate portion (1100) being patterned into a spiral coil shape.

[0240] According to the present embodiment, a plurality of first coil substrate parts (1100) are stacked vertically to form one coil module (1001, 1003), and accordingly, a plurality of first coil parts (1120) can be stacked vertically. In addition, a plurality of first coil parts (1120) stacked vertically can be connected to each other vertically to form one heating coil (WC), respectively.

[0241] Additionally, each first coil substrate portion (1100) may have a plurality of first coil portions (1120) arranged in a horizontal direction, and accordingly, the coil modules (1001, 1003) may include a plurality of heating coils (WC) arranged in a horizontal direction.

[0242] In addition, the heating coil assembly (1000) of the present embodiment may include a sensing coil (SC) for detecting the presence of a heating target, as illustrated in FIGS. 6 and 7. Each coil module (1001, 1003) may include a plurality of sensing coils (SC) arranged in a horizontal direction. As an example, in the heating coil assembly (1000), a plurality of sensing coils (SC) may be arranged along a first direction, i.e., a lateral direction, and a plurality of sensing coils (SC) may also be arranged along a second direction, i.e., a front-back direction.

[0243] Each sensing coil (SC) may be provided in the form of a spiral coil formed in a pattern on a printed circuit board. That is, the sensing coil (SC) may be provided in the form of a pattern formed on the coil module (1001, 1003).

[0244] According to the present embodiment, the coil substrate stack (1010) may include at least one second coil substrate portion (1200). The second coil substrate portion (1200) may be vertically stacked together with the first coil substrate portion (1100). That is, at least one second coil substrate portion (1200) and a plurality of first coil substrate portions (1100) may be vertically stacked to form one coil module (1001, 1003). Accordingly, in each coil module (1001, 1003), at least a portion of the heating coil (WC) and the sensing coil (SC) may be vertically arranged.

[0245] Each second coil substrate portion (1200) may include a second coil portion (1220). As an example, the second coil portion (1220) may be formed as a result of a metal foil laminated on the surface of the second coil substrate portion (1200) being patterned into a spiral coil shape.

[0246] Each sensing coil (SC) may be formed by one second coil portion (1220), or may be formed as a result of a plurality of second coil portions (1220) stacked vertically and connected vertically.

[0250] [Coil module layout structure]

[0251] Fig. 8 is a plan view showing a first example of the arrangement structure of the first coil module and the second coil module, and Fig. 9 is a drawing schematically showing an example of a state of cutting a disk for forming a first coil substrate portion. In addition, Fig. 10 is a plan view showing a second example of the arrangement structure of the first coil module and the second coil module, and Fig. 11 is a plan view showing another example of the arrangement structure of the first coil module and the second coil module shown in Fig. 8, and Fig. 12 is a plan view showing another example of the arrangement structure of the first coil module and the second coil module shown in Fig. 10. In addition, Fig. 13 is a plan view showing a third example of the arrangement structure of the first coil module and the second coil module, and Fig. 14 is a plan view showing a fourth example of the arrangement structure of the first coil module and the second coil module shown in Fig. Also, Fig. 15 is a plan view showing a fifth example of the arrangement structure of the first coil module and the second coil module, and Fig. 16 is a plan view showing a sixth example of the arrangement structure of the first coil module and the second coil module.

[0252] Referring to FIGS. 4 and 8, the heating coil assembly (1000) of the present embodiment includes a plurality of coil modules (1001, 1003), and the heating coil assembly (1000) may have a plurality of coil modules (1001, 1003) arranged along a horizontal direction. As an example, the heating coil assembly (1000) may have a plurality of coil modules (1001, 1003) arranged along a first direction.

[0253] As described above, the cooktop (100) of the present embodiment may include a cooktop control panel (130). The cooktop control panel (130) may be placed on the top plate (120), but may be placed at a forward-facing position.

[0254] For the first direction, the cooktop control panel (130) may be positioned approximately in the center of the heating coil assembly (1000). For the second direction, the cooktop control panel (130) may be positioned at a position offset toward the front side of the heating coil assembly (1000).

[0255] The heating coil assembly (1000) is disposed on the lower side of the top plate (120), but is not disposed on the lower side of the area occupied by the cooktop control panel (130) among the top plate (120). That is, the heating coil (WC) is disposed only on the lower side of the area not occupied by the cooktop control panel (130) among the top plate (120), and is not disposed on the lower side of the area occupied by the cooktop control panel (130) among the top plate (120).

[0256] This heating coil assembly (1000) may include several types of coil modules (1001, 1003) of different sizes. In the present embodiment, the coil modules (1001, 1003) are exemplified as including a first coil module (1001) and a second coil module (1003). At this time, the first coil module (1001) includes a plurality of heating coils (WC), and the second coil module (1003) includes a smaller number of heating coils (WC) than the first coil module (1001).

[0257] According to the present embodiment, in the heating coil assembly (1000), the first coil module (1001) and the second coil module (1003) may be arranged along the horizontal direction. In addition, with respect to the second direction, the length of the second coil module (1003) may be set shorter than the length of the first coil module (1001). That is, the second coil module (1003) may be provided in a form that is shorter in the second direction than the first coil module (1001) and includes a smaller number of heating coils (WC).

[0258] In the heating coil assembly (1000), a pair of first coil modules (1001) and at least one second coil module (1003) may be arranged along a first direction. At this time, the pair of first coil modules (1001) may be arranged to be spaced apart from each other along the first direction. And at least one second coil module (1003) may be arranged between the pair of first coil modules (1001).

[0259] For example, at least one second coil module (1003) may be positioned at the center of the heating coil assembly (1000) in the first direction, similar to the cooktop control panel (130). The at least one second coil module (1003) and the cooktop control panel (130) may be positioned on the same straight line in the second direction.

[0260] For the first direction, the cooktop control panel (130) may be placed between a pair of first coil modules (1001). Also, for the second direction, the cooktop control panel (130) may be placed at a position that is offset to one side from the second coil module (1003), for example, at the front side of the second coil module (1003). Accordingly, at least a portion of the cooktop control panel (130) may be placed within an area surrounded by a pair of first coil modules (1001) and second coil modules (1003).

[0261] That is, the cooktop control panel (130) is positioned at a location where the visual information provided through the cooktop control panel (130) can be easily seen by the user, and also at a location where the user can easily operate the cooktop control panel (130). This cooktop control panel (130) occupies a predetermined area on the upper surface of the cooktop (100).

[0262] In addition, since the heating coil (WC) cannot be placed in the area occupied by the cooktop control panel (130) on the upper surface of the cooktop (100), the heating coil (WC) must be placed in the remaining area excluding the area occupied by the cooktop control panel (130). Accordingly, the heating coil assembly (1000) including the heating coils (WC) is placed in the area not occupied by the cooktop control panel (130) on the upper surface of the cooktop (100). For example, the horizontal outer shape of the heating coil assembly (1000) may be formed as a “concave” shape that is inverted upside down.

[0263] The above heating coil assembly (1000) includes a coil module (1001, 1003) having a heating coil (WC), and may include several types of coil modules (1001, 1003) having different lengths in the second direction. In the present embodiment, the heating coil assembly (1000) is exemplified as including two types of coil modules (1001, 1003), namely, a first coil module (1001) and a second coil module (1003).

[0264] As an example, the horizontal outer shape of the coil modules (1001, 1003) (hereinafter referred to as “outer shape of the coil module”) may be formed into a rectangle. That is, the outer shapes of the first coil module (1001) and the second coil module (1003) may each be formed into a rectangle.

[0265] For example, the shape of the second coil module (1003) may be formed as a rectangle having a different length in the second direction compared to the first coil module (1001). In addition, the second coil module (1003) and the cooktop control panel (130) may be arranged on the same straight line in the second direction, and the second coil module (1003) may be arranged on the rear side of the cooktop control panel (130).

[0266] Considering that the second coil module (1003) is arranged on the same straight line as the cooktop control panel (130) in the second direction, the second direction length of the second coil module (1003) is set shorter than the second direction length of the first coil module (1001).

[0267] As described above, the heating coil assembly (1000) is formed by a combination of a plurality of coil modules (1001, 1003) arranged in a horizontal direction, and each coil module (1001, 1003) may be formed in a rectangular shape. That is, the heating coil assembly (1000) may be formed by a combination of a plurality of coil modules (1001, 1003) formed in a rectangular shape, rather than by a single coil module formed in a shape in which a "concave" shape is inverted upside down.

[0268] According to the present embodiment, as illustrated in FIGS. 8 and 9, the first coil substrate portion (1100) forming each coil module (1001, 1003) may be formed by a copper clad laminate (CCL), and each copper clad laminate forming each first coil substrate portion (1100) may be provided as a result of cutting a copper clad laminate original plate (B; hereinafter, referred to as “original plate”).

[0269] If the first coil substrate portion (1100) is formed in a "concave" shape or a shape that is an inverted "concave" shape, when manufacturing the first coil substrate portion (1100) by cutting the circular plate (P), the amount of circular plate (P) cut off to secure the space for arranging the cooktop control panel (130) inevitably results in a loss. That is, if the heating coil assembly (1000) is formed by one coil module (1001, 1003), a problem occurs in which the loss of the circular plate (P) used in manufacturing the first coil substrate portion (1100) increases.

[0270] In contrast, when the heating coil assembly (1000) is formed by a combination of multiple coil modules (1001, 1003), it is possible for each coil module (1001, 1003) to be formed in a rectangular shape. That is, the heating coil assembly (1000) can be formed in a "concave" shape or a shape in which the "concave" shape is inverted upside down by a combination of several types of coil modules (1001, 1003) of different sizes, for example, a first coil module (1001) and a second coil module (1003).

[0271] Accordingly, when cutting the original plate (P) to manufacture the first coil substrate portion (1100), the original plate (P) can be cut into a rectangular shape, so that the loss of the original plate (P) used in manufacturing the first coil substrate portion (1100) can be effectively reduced.

[0272] According to the present embodiment, the heating coil (WC) may be formed into a shape including a polygonal shape. For example, the horizontal outer shape of the heating coil (WC) (hereinafter referred to as “outer shape of the heating coil”) may be a polygonal shape.

[0273] As an example, the outer shape of the heating coil (WC) may be approximately rectangular, and the horizontal outer shape of the cooktop (100) (hereinafter referred to as the “outer shape of the cooktop”) is also approximately close to a rectangle. Considering this, it is preferable that the horizontal outer shape of the coil module (1001, 1003) (hereinafter referred to as the “outer shape of the coil module”) is rectangular.

[0274] Since the outer shape of the coil module (1001, 1003) is formed as a rectangle similar to the outer shape of the heating coil (WC), the density of the area occupied by the heating coil (WC) within the coil module (1001, 1003) can be effectively increased. In addition, since the outer shape of the coil module (1001, 1003) is formed as a rectangle similar to the outer shape of the cooktop (100), the density of the area occupied by the coil module (1001, 1003) within the cooktop (100) can be effectively increased.

[0275] That is, since the outer shape of the coil module (1001, 1003) is formed into a polygonal shape similar to the outer shape of the heating coil (WC) and the outer shape of the cooktop (100), the density of the area occupied by the heating coil (WC) within the cooktop (100) is effectively increased, and accordingly, the area of the area where heating of the cooking object is possible within the cooktop (100) can be effectively increased.

[0276] Accordingly, the area of the area where the heating target comes into contact with the heating coil (WC) within the cooktop (100) can be increased, thereby effectively improving the heating efficiency of the cooktop (100).

[0277] Meanwhile, the length difference between the first coil module (1001) and the second coil module (1003) along the second direction can be adjusted by the number difference of heating coils (WC) along the second direction. For example, heating coils (WC) of the same size and shape can be provided in both the first coil module (1001) and the second coil module (1003), and the number of heating coils (WC) along the second direction in the second coil module (1003) can be set to be one or more less than the number of heating coils (WC) along the second direction in the first coil module (1001).

[0278] In this way, by controlling the number of heating coils (WC), the lengths of the first coil module (1001) and the second coil module (1003) are set differently, so that even if the sizes of the coil modules (1001, 1003) change, there is no need to design the size and shape of the heating coil (WC) differently accordingly. In other words, various types of coil modules (1001, 1003) having different lengths in the second direction can all be provided in a form that includes one type of heating coil (WC).

[0279] Accordingly, not only can the cost and time required for designing a heating coil (WC) be reduced, but also various types of coil modules (1001, 1003) having different second-direction lengths can be manufactured more easily and quickly at a lower cost.

[0280] According to this embodiment, the cooktop control panel (130) and the second coil module (1003) may be arranged in the center of the first direction of the upper surface of the cooktop (100), and the first coil modules (1001) may be arranged on both sides of the first direction of the upper surface of the cooktop (100).

[0281] As an example, the second direction length of the first coil module (1001) can be set to be almost similar to the second direction length of the upper surface of the cooktop (100). And the second direction length difference between the first coil module (1001) and the second coil module (1003) can be set to be greater than the second direction length of the heating coil (WC).

[0282] Accordingly, while most of the area on the upper surface of the cooktop (100) can be filled with a heating coil (WC), the area required for arranging the cooktop control panel (130) can be secured on the upper surface of the cooktop (100).

[0283] As an example, in a heating coil assembly (1000), a pair of first coil modules (1001) and one second coil module (1003) may be arranged along a first direction. At this time, the pair of first coil modules (1001) may be arranged to be spaced apart from each other along the first direction. In addition, one second coil module (1003) may be arranged between the pair of first coil modules (1001).

[0284] For example, one second coil module (1003) may be positioned at the center of the heating coil assembly (1000) in the first direction, similar to the cooktop control panel (130). This one second coil module (1003) and the cooktop control panel (130) may be positioned on the same straight line in the second direction.

[0285] At this time, the number of heating coils (WC) included in each first coil module (1001) and the number of heating coils (WC) included in each second coil module (1003) may be 8 and 6, respectively (see FIG. 8), or 6 and 4, respectively (see FIG. 11).

[0286] As another example, in a heating coil assembly (1000a) as illustrated in FIG. 10, two pairs of first coil modules (1001a) and one pair of second coil modules (1003a) may be arranged along the first direction. At this time, one pair of first coil modules (1001a) may be arranged on one side of one pair of second coil modules (1003a) in the first direction, and another pair of first coil modules (1001a) may be arranged on the other side of one pair of second coil modules (1003a) in the first direction.

[0287] At this time, the number of heating coils (WC) included in each first coil module (1001a) and the number of heating coils (WC) included in each second coil module (1003a) may be 4 and 3, respectively (see FIG. 10), or 3 and 2, respectively (see FIG. 12).

[0288] As another example, in a heating coil assembly (1000d) as illustrated in FIG. 13, a pair of first coil modules (1001d) and a pair of second coil modules (1003d) may be spaced apart from each other along the first direction. And a pair of second coil modules (1003d) may be placed between a pair of first coil modules (1001d).

[0289] As another example, in a heating coil assembly (1000e) as illustrated in FIG. 14, two pairs of first coil modules (1001e) and two pairs of second coil modules (1003e) may be arranged along the first direction. At this time, one pair of first coil modules (1001e) may be arranged on one side of the two pairs of second coil modules (1003e) in the first direction, and the other pair of first coil modules (1001e) may be arranged on the other side of the two pairs of second coil modules (1003e) in the first direction.

[0290] Additionally, as illustrated in FIG. 15, only one pair of first coil modules (1001f) may be arranged along the first direction, and as illustrated in FIG. 16, only two pairs of first coil modules (1001g) may be arranged along the first direction.

[0291] [Heating coil structure]

[0292] FIG. 17 is a plan view showing an example of a first coil substrate portion according to an embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 18 is an enlarged view showing a portion of the first coil substrate portion shown in FIG. 17, and FIG. 19 is a cross-sectional view schematically showing a laminated structure of the first coil portion shown in FIG. 18. In addition, FIG. 20 is a plan view showing an example of an arrangement structure of sensing coils, and FIG. 21 is an enlarged view showing a portion of FIG. 20, which is a drawing showing an example of an arrangement structure of sensing coils relative to a heating coil. In addition, FIG. 22 is an enlarged view showing the first terminal shown in FIG. 18, and FIG. 23 is an enlarged view showing the second terminal shown in FIG. 18.

[0293] According to the present embodiment, as illustrated in FIG. 8 and FIGS. 17 to 19, the heating coil (WC) may be formed by a conductor, more specifically, an electrical conductor, laminated in multiple layers. In the present embodiment, the conductor is exemplified as a first coil portion (1120), more specifically, a coil pattern (Cp) to be described later being formed as a conductor.

[0294] A heating coil (WC) can be formed as a result of first coil portions (1120) provided on each of a plurality of first coil substrate portions (1100) stacked in a vertical direction being vertically connected to each other. Each first coil substrate portion (1100) can include a core (1110) and a first coil portion (1120).

[0295] The core (1110) forms the skeleton of the first coil substrate portion (1100) and may be formed of an insulating material. As an example, the core (1110) may be formed of a prepreg material. In the present embodiment, the core (1110) is exemplified as being formed of a thermosetting prepreg, more specifically, a prepreg that is FR4.

[0296] The first coil portion (1120) may be arranged on each of the upper and lower sides of the core (1110). For example, each first coil substrate portion (1100) may be provided in a form in which one layer of the first coil portion (1120) is formed on each of the upper and lower sides of the core (1110).

[0297] As an example, the first coil portion (1120) may be provided in a patterned form on both upper and lower sides of the core (1110). For example, the first coil substrate portion (1100) may be formed by a copper-clad laminate including the core (1110) and copper foil laminated on both upper and lower sides of the core (1110). In this case, the first coil portion (1120) may be formed as a result of the foil laminated on the core (1110) being patterned into a coil shape.

[0298] According to the present embodiment, the heating coil (WC) may be formed into a shape including a polygonal shape. For example, the horizontal outer shape of the heating coil (WC) (hereinafter referred to as “outer shape of the heating coil”) may be a polygonal shape.

[0299] In addition, the heating coil (WC) may be formed by a plurality of first coil substrate portions (1100) that are stacked vertically, as described above. The first coil substrate portion (1100) may include a pattern area (1101) and non-pattern areas (1103, 1105).

[0300] The pattern area (1101) corresponds to an area where the first coil portion (1120) of the first coil substrate portion (1100) is arranged. And the non-pattern areas (1103, 1105) correspond to an area where the first coil portion (1120) of the first coil substrate portion (1100) is not arranged. The pattern area (1101) and the non-pattern areas (1103, 1105) may be arranged on the same plane and may be arranged in a horizontal direction.

[0301] The non-patterned region (1103, 1105) may include a first non-patterned region (1103). In each heating coil (WC), the first non-patterned region (1103) may be positioned at the horizontal center. In addition, the first non-patterned region (1103) may be positioned at the horizontal center of the first coil substrate portion (1100).

[0302] For example, the first non-patterned region (1103) may be arranged at the horizontal center of each heating coil (WC) and the first coil substrate portion (1100). The patterned region (1101) may be arranged to surround the first non-patterned region (1103) from the horizontal outer side.

[0303] In this embodiment, the expression “center” does not mean the exact center, but means an area surrounded by a spirally wound heating coil (WC), including the radial center of the heating coil (WC) and its surroundings.

[0304] At least a portion of the first coil portion (1120) may surround the non-patterned region (1103, 1105) from the outer side in the horizontal direction. As an example, at least a portion of the first coil portion (1120) may surround the first non-patterned region (1103) from the outer side in the horizontal direction.

[0305] The first coil portion (1120) may include at least one coil pattern (Cp) arranged on the horizontal outer side of the first non-patterned area (1103). In each first coil portion (1120), each coil pattern (Cp) may be wound multiple times around the first non-patterned area (1103). The first coil portion (1120) may be formed by at least one coil pattern (Cp) provided in this manner.

[0306] Each first coil portion (1120) may include a plurality of coil patterns (Cp). At this time, in each first coil portion (1120), a plurality of coil patterns (Cp) may be arranged at a predetermined interval from each other along the diameter direction of the heating coil (WC).

[0307] As an example, each first coil portion (1120) may include three to six coil patterns (Cp). However, the present invention is not limited thereto, and each coil portion (112) may include more than six coil patterns (Cp).

[0308] In this embodiment, it is exemplified that each first coil portion (1120) includes three to six coil patterns (Cp). Accordingly, in each first coil portion (1120), three to six coil patterns (Cp) can be arranged along the diametric direction of the heating coil (WC). The coil pattern (Cp) arranged in each first coil portion (1120) can be vertically connected to any one of the coil patterns (Cp) arranged in another first coil portion (1120) that is vertically adjacent.

[0309] Additionally, the first coil substrate portion (1100) may further include a second non-patterned region (1105). The second non-patterned region (1105), like the first non-patterned region (1103), corresponds to a region in which the first coil portion (1120) is not formed.

[0310] In the horizontal direction, the second non-patterned area (1105) may be arranged outside the first non-patterned area (1103). In the present embodiment, it is exemplified that the second non-patterned area (1105) is arranged outside the first non-patterned area (1103) in the first direction.

[0311] Additionally, in each first coil substrate portion (1100), the first non-patterned region (1103) and the second non-patterned region (1105) are not connected in the horizontal direction. With respect to the horizontal direction, at least a portion of the sensing coil (SC) can be arranged between the first non-patterned region (1103) and the second non-patterned region (1105). That is, at least a portion of the first coil portion (1120) can be arranged between the first non-patterned region (1103) and the second non-patterned region (1105).

[0312] According to the present embodiment, a plurality of second non-patterned regions (1105) may be arranged along the first direction for each heating coil (WC). As an example, a pair of second non-patterned regions (1105) may be arranged for each heating coil (WC). This pair of second non-patterned regions (1105) may be arranged on the outer side of the first non-patterned region (1103) in the first direction. That is, with respect to the first direction, the first non-patterned region (1103) may be arranged between a pair of second non-patterned regions (1105).

[0313] Additionally, according to the present embodiment, a plurality of heating coils (WC) may be arranged along the first direction. A plurality of second non-patterned areas (1105) provided on the plurality of heating coils (WC) arranged in this manner may be arranged at equal intervals along the first direction.

[0314] Meanwhile, as illustrated in FIGS. 6 and 7, a second coil substrate portion (1200) is disposed above or below the first coil substrate portion (1100), and a sensing coil (SC) can be formed by the second coil substrate portion (1200). The sensing coil (SC) is disposed above or below the first coil substrate portion (1100), and is disposed in an area that overlaps the first coil substrate portion (1100) in the vertical direction.

[0315] In each coil module (1001, 1003), the sensing coil (SC) may be arranged on the vertical outer side of the heating coil (WC), as illustrated in FIGS. 6 to 7 and FIGS. 20 to 21. For example, in each coil module (1001, 1003), the sensing coil (SC) and the heating coil (WC) may be arranged vertically.

[0316] In the horizontal direction, at least a portion of the sensing coils (SC) can be arranged in the second non-patterned region (1105). Thus, as a plurality of second non-patterned regions (1105) are arranged at equal intervals along the first direction, a plurality of sensing coils (SC) can be arranged at equal intervals along the first direction.

[0317] As described above, since a plurality of second non-patterned regions (1105) are arranged at equal intervals along the first direction, a plurality of sensing coils (SC) can be arranged at equal intervals along the first direction. According to the present embodiment, at least a portion of each sensing coil (SC) can be arranged in the second non-patterned region (1105). Therefore, when several second non-patterned regions (1105) are arranged at equal intervals along the first direction, a plurality of sensing coils (SC) can be arranged at equal intervals along the first direction.

[0318] According to the present embodiment, the temperature sensor (TS) may be positioned horizontally inside the sensing coil (SC). With respect to the horizontal direction, at least a portion of the temperature sensor (TS) may be positioned in the second non-patterned area (1105).

[0319] As an example, the temperature sensor (TS) may be placed in the second non-patterned area (1105). That is, the temperature sensor (TS) installed in the second coil substrate portion (1200) and the second non-patterned area (1105) formed in the first coil substrate portion (1100) may be placed to overlap in the vertical direction.

[0320] To this end, each sensing coil (SC) can be placed at a position where the entire temperature sensor (TS) can be placed in the second non-pattern area (1105), i.e., a position where the entire temperature sensor (TS) can overlap with the second non-pattern area (1105) in the vertical direction.

[0321] Meanwhile, each first coil portion (1120) may include a first terminal (1121) and a second terminal (1122), as illustrated in FIGS. 17 to 18 and 22 to 23, respectively. The first terminal (1121) and the second terminal (1122) are arranged to be able to connect a plurality of coil patterns (Cp) arranged in a horizontal direction, i.e., a plurality of coil patterns (Cp) forming one first coil portion (1120).

[0322] In the horizontal direction, the first terminal (1121) may be arranged outside the first non-patterned area (1103) and the second terminal (1122), and at least a portion of the second terminal (1122) may be arranged to be in contact with the first non-patterned area (1103). Accordingly, in the horizontal direction, the second non-patterned area (1105) may be arranged between the first terminal (1121) and the second terminal (1122).

[0323] In addition, based on the second non-pattern area (1105), the first terminal (1121) can be arranged in the horizontal outer area of the first coil portion (1120), and the second terminal (1122) can be arranged in the horizontal inner area of the first coil portion (1120).

[0324] As an example, the first terminal (1121) may be arranged at the outermost side in the horizontal direction of the first coil portion (1120), and the second terminal (1122) may be arranged at the innermost side in the horizontal direction of the first coil portion (1120). For example, the first terminal (1121) may be connected to the outermost end in the horizontal direction of the coil pattern (Cp). And the second terminal (1122) may be connected to the innermost end of the coil pattern (Cp).

[0325] Referring to FIGS. 6 and 20, the heating coil assembly (1000) of the present embodiment may further include a terminal portion (1020). The terminal portion (1020) is provided to be connected to at least one of the first terminal (1121) and the second terminal (1122). A detailed description of the terminal portion (1020) will be provided later.

[0326] [Heating coil layout structure for each coil module]

[0327] As illustrated in FIG. 8, in each coil module (1001, 1003), a plurality of heating coils (WC) may be arranged in a horizontal direction. For example, in each coil module (1001, 1003), a plurality of heating coils (WC) may be arranged along a first direction and may also be arranged in a second direction. That is, in each coil module (1001, 1003), a plurality of heating coils (WC) may be arranged in a matrix form.

[0328] At this time, each heating coil (WC) may be arranged to be spaced apart from other adjacent heating coils (WC) in the first direction by a predetermined distance in the first direction, and may be spaced apart from other adjacent heating coils (WC) in the second direction by a predetermined distance in the second direction.

[0329] According to the present embodiment, the length of the coil module (1001, 1003) in the first direction can be set shorter than the length of the coil module (1001, 1003) in the second direction. That is, each coil module (1001, 1003) can be formed into a rectangle, but can be formed into a rectangle in which the length in the second direction is longer than the length in the first direction.

[0330] In comparison, the length of the heating coil (WC) in the second direction can be set shorter than the length of the heating coil (WC) in the first direction. That is, each heating coil (WC) can be formed into a rectangle, but can be formed into a rectangle in which the length in the first direction is longer than the length in the second direction.

[0331] In each coil module (1001, 1003) including these heating coils (WC), the number of heating coils (WC) arranged on the same straight line in the second direction is greater than the number of heating coils (WC) arranged on the same straight line in the first direction.

[0332] According to the present embodiment, the first coil module (1001) may include a plurality of heating coils (WC) arranged in an A column x B row format, and the second coil module (1003) may include a plurality of heating coils (WC) arranged in an A column x C row format. In the present embodiment, a column is defined as a line in the first direction, and a row is defined as a line in the second direction.

[0333] As an example, the relationship between A, B, and C can be defined as follows:

[0334] A≥1, C≥2, B>C,

[0335] For example, in the first coil module (1001) and the second coil module (1003), one or more heating coils (WC) may be arranged in the first direction and two or more in the second direction. In addition, in the first coil module (1001), one or more heating coils (WC) may be arranged in the first direction and three or more in the second direction.

[0336] Accordingly, the number of heating coils (WC) arranged on the same straight line in the first direction in the first coil module (1001) and the number of heating coils (WC) arranged on the same straight line in the first direction in the second coil module (1003) may be set to be the same. In addition, the number of heating coils (WC) arranged on the same straight line in the second direction in the second coil module (1003) may be set to be less than the number of heating coils (WC) arranged on the same straight line in the second direction in the first coil module (1001).

[0337] As an example, when n first coil modules (1001) are arranged spaced apart along the first direction, n / 2 second coil modules (1003) can be arranged between a pair of first coil modules (1001) arranged at the innermost side in the first direction.

[0338] At this time, each first coil module (1001) may include 16 / n heating coils (WC) arranged in a 4 / n column*4 row format. And each second coil module (1003) may include 12 / n heating coils (WC) arranged in a 4 / n column*3 row format.

[0339] For example, when two first coil modules (1001) are arranged spaced apart along the first direction, one second coil module (1003) may be arranged between a pair of first coil modules (1001) arranged at the innermost side in the first direction. At this time, each of the first coil modules (1001) may include eight heating coils (WC) arranged in a 2-column x 4-row configuration.

[0340] And each of the second coil modules (1003) may include six heating coils (WC) arranged in a 2-column x 3-row configuration. In this case, the heating coil assembly (1000) may include a total of 22 heating coils (WC).

[0341] As described above, the cooktop (100; see Fig. 3) is provided with a plurality of indicator lights (L; see Fig. 3), and the indicator lights (L) can be implemented by a lighting module (180; see Fig. 4). The lighting module (180) is arranged at the lower side of the heating coil assembly (1000), and light emitted from the lighting module (180) can pass through the heating coil assembly (1000) and illuminate the light display area of the top plate (120).

[0342] In order to allow light emitted from the lighting module (180) to pass through the light display area of the top plate (120), a through hole (h) may be provided in each coil module (1001, 1003). In each coil module (1001, 1003), the through hole (h) may pass through the coil module (1001, 1003) in the vertical direction, and each through hole (h) may be arranged between one row of heating coils (WC) and one row of heating coils (WC).

[0343] If, as illustrated in Fig. 10, four first coil modules (1001a) are arranged spaced apart from each other along the first direction, two second coil modules (1003a) may be arranged between a pair of first coil modules (1001a) arranged at the innermost side in the first direction. In this case, each of the first coil modules (1001a) may include four heating coils (WC) arranged in a 1-column x 4-row configuration.

[0344] When the heating coil assembly (1000a) is provided in the form described above, a space can be formed between each row of the heating coil assembly (1000a). This space can be used as a passage for passing light emitted from the lighting module (180) to the light display area of the top plate (120).

[0345] That is, since each coil module (1001a, 1003a) is provided in a form that includes only one row of heating coils (WC), there is no need to form a separate through hole in the heating coil assembly (1000a).

[0346] Also, considering that the size, display, or control panel size may vary for each model, the heating coil assembly (1000a) provided in the form described above may be more advantageous for mass production than the heating coil assembly in the form illustrated in FIG. 8.

[0347] For example, according to the heating coil assembly (1000a) provided in the above form, when producing multiple products with different sizes of displays or control panels, only the size of the second coil module (1003a) can be changed according to the size of the display or control panel, and the first coil module (1001a) can be used in common.

[0348] In addition, according to the heating coil assembly (1000a) provided in the above form, only one row of each coil module (1001a, 1003a) needs to be repaired or replaced when necessary, so maintenance becomes easier and maintenance costs are reduced.

[0349] In addition, if each coil module (1001a, 1003a) is provided in a form including only one row of heating coils (WC) as described above, the surface area of the coil module (1001a, 1003a) can be relatively widened compared to a form in which each coil module includes two rows of heating coils (WC), and air can flow into the space between each coil module (1001a, 1003a), thereby improving the heat dissipation performance of the heating coil assembly (1000a).

[0350] In comparison, when two or more rows of heating coils (WC) are arranged in each coil module (1001, 1003) as shown in FIG. 8, the number of coil modules (1001, 1003) to be assembled is reduced compared to the case where only one row of heating coils (WC) is arranged in each coil module, so there is an advantage of reduced assembly work.

[0351] In addition, when two or more rows of heating coils (WC) are arranged in each coil module (1001, 1003), the space required to form wiring between the heating coils (WC) of two adjacent rows can be easily secured in the coil module (1001, 1003), so there is an advantage in that wiring design can be easily and efficiently performed.

[0352] And each second coil module (1003a) may include three heating coils (WC) arranged in a 1-column x 3-row configuration. In this case, the heating coil assembly (1000a) may include a total of 22 heating coils (WC).

[0353] As a second example, as illustrated in FIG. 11, each first coil module (1001b) may include 12 / n heating coils (WC) arranged in a 4 / n column*3 row configuration. And each second coil module (1003b) may include 8 / n heating coils (WC) arranged in a 4 / n column*2 row configuration.

[0354] For example, when two first coil modules (1001b) are arranged spaced apart from each other along the first direction, one second coil module (1003b) may be arranged between a pair of first coil modules (1001b) arranged at the innermost side in the first direction. In this case, each of the first coil modules (1001b) may include six heating coils (WC) arranged in a 2-column x 3-row configuration.

[0355] And each of the second coil modules (1003b) may include four heating coils (WC) arranged in a 2-column x 2-row configuration. In this case, the heating coil assembly (1000b) may include a total of 16 heating coils (WC).

[0356] If, as illustrated in FIG. 12, four first coil modules (1001c) are arranged spaced apart along the first direction, two second coil modules (1003c) can be arranged between a pair of first coil modules (1001c) arranged at the innermost side in the first direction.

[0357] At this time, each first coil module (1001c) may include three heating coils (WC) arranged in a 1-column x 3-row configuration. And each second coil module (1003c) may include two heating coils (WC) arranged in a 1-column x 2-row configuration. In this case, the heating coil assembly (1000c) may include a total of 16 heating coils (WC).

[0358] As a third example, as illustrated in Fig. 13, when two first coil modules (1001d) are arranged spaced apart along the first direction, two second coil modules (1003d) may be arranged between a pair of first coil modules (1001d) arranged at the innermost side in the first direction. In this case, each of the first coil modules (1001d) may include 10 heating coils (WC) arranged in a 2-column x 5-row configuration.

[0359] And each of the second coil modules (1003d) may include six heating coils (WC) arranged in a 2-column x 3-row configuration. In this case, the heating coil assembly (1000d) may include a total of 32 heating coils (WC).

[0360] As a fourth example, as illustrated in Fig. 14, if four first coil modules (1001e) are arranged spaced apart along the first direction, four second coil modules (1003e) may be arranged between a pair of first coil modules (1001e) arranged at the innermost side in the first direction. In this case, each of the first coil modules (1001e) may include five heating coils (WC) arranged in a 1-column x 5-row format.

[0361] And each of the second coil modules (1003e) may include three heating coils (WC) arranged in a 1-column x 3-row configuration. In this case, the heating coil assembly (1000e) may include a total of 32 heating coils (WC).

[0362] As a fifth example, as illustrated in FIG. 15, when n first coil modules (1001f) are arranged spaced apart from each other along the first direction, each first coil module (1001f) may include 16 / n heating coils (WC) arranged in a 4 / n column*4 row format.

[0363] For example, when two first coil modules (1001f) are spaced apart from each other along the first direction, each first coil module (1001f) may include eight heating coils (WC) arranged in a two-column x four-row configuration. In this case, the heating coil assembly (1000f) may include a total of 16 heating coils (WC).

[0364] If, as illustrated in Fig. 16, four first coil modules (1001g) are arranged spaced apart from each other along the first direction, each first coil module (1001g) may include four heating coils (WC) arranged in a 1-column x 4-row configuration. In this case, the heating coil assembly (1000g) may include a total of 16 heating coils (WC).

[0365] In the example described above, the heating coil assembly may include heating coils (WC) all having the same size and shape. Alternatively, the heating coil assembly may include multiple types of heating coils (WC) having different sizes and shapes.

[0366] Fig. 24 is a plan view showing a seventh example of the arrangement structure of the first coil module and the second coil module.

[0367] As another example, the heating coil assembly (1000h) as illustrated in FIG. 24 may further include at least one of a third coil module (1005) and a fourth coil module (1007). The first coil module (1001) and the third coil module (1005) may be arranged on the same straight line in the second direction, and the second coil module (1003) and the fourth coil module (1007) may be arranged on the same straight line in the second direction.

[0368] Accordingly, for the first direction, a pair of first coil modules (1001) can be arranged spaced apart from each other along the first direction with a second coil module (1003) and a fourth coil module (1007) interposed therebetween.

[0369] Also, with respect to the second direction, the first coil module (1001) may be positioned more protruding to one side than the second coil module (1003), the third coil module (1005) may be positioned more offset to one side than the first coil module (1001), and the fourth coil module (1007) may be positioned more offset to one side than the second coil module (1003).

[0370] That is, the first coil module (1001) having a second direction length longer than the second coil module (1003) protrudes further forward than the second coil module (1003), the third coil module (1005) is positioned further forward than the first coil module (1001), and the fourth coil module (1007) can be positioned further forward than the second coil module (1003). It goes without saying that the third coil module (1005) is positioned further forward than the fourth coil module (1007).

[0371] The third coil module (1005) and the fourth coil module (1007) may be formed to have a smaller horizontal size than the first coil module (1001) and the second coil module (1003). To this end, the third coil module (1005) may include a heating coil that has a smaller horizontal size than the heating coil provided in the first coil module (1001).

[0372] As described above, the cooktop control panel (130) may be positioned further forward than the second coil module (1003), and a pair of first coil modules (1001) may be positioned spaced apart from each other in the first direction with the cooktop control panel (130) interposed therebetween. In addition, a pair of third coil modules (1005) positioned on the front side of the pair of first coil modules (1001) may also be positioned spaced apart from each other in the first direction with the cooktop control panel (130) interposed therebetween.

[0373] For the first direction, the length of the third coil module (1005) may be set shorter than the length of the first coil module (1001). And for the second direction, the length of the third coil module (1005) may be set shorter than the length of the first coil module (1001). That is, the third coil module (1005) may be formed to have a shorter length in the first direction and a shorter length in the second direction than the first coil module (1001).

[0374] Additionally, the fourth coil module (1007) may be placed at the rear of the cooktop control panel (130). In the second direction, the fourth coil module (1007) may be placed between the cooktop control panel (130) and the second coil module (1003), and the length of the fourth coil module (1007) may be formed to be shorter than the length of the second coil module (1003).

[0375] As the third coil module (1005) and the fourth coil module (1007) are arranged in the above-described manner, the area in which the cooktop control panel (130) is to be arranged can be secured more widely. Accordingly, the cooktop control panel (130) can be spaced further apart horizontally from the coil modules (1001, 1003), thereby reducing the influence of heat generated around the heating coil (WC) on the cooktop control panel (130).

[0404] [Laminated structure of coil substrate laminate]

[0405] Referring to FIGS. 7 and 8, each coil module (1001, 1003) may be formed by a coil substrate laminate (1010). The coil substrate laminate (1010) may include a plurality of first coil substrate portions (1100) and at least one second coil substrate portion (1200) that are laminated in a vertical direction.

[0406] The first coil substrate portion (1100) may be formed in a form in which a core (1110) and a first coil portion (1120) are stacked vertically, as illustrated in FIGS. 8 and 19. The second coil substrate portion (1200) may be formed in a form in which a core (1210) and a second coil portion (1220) are stacked vertically. The core (1210) forms the skeleton of the second coil substrate portion (1200) and may be formed of a material identical or similar to that of the core (1110) of the first coil substrate portion (1100).

[0407] As an example, in the first coil substrate portion (1100), the first coil portion (1120) may be arranged on both upper and lower sides of the core (1110). For example, the first coil portion (1120) may be laminated on the upper and lower surfaces of the core (1110), respectively.

[0408] And in the second coil substrate portion (1200), the first coil portion (1120) may be arranged on one vertical side of the core (1210), that is, the lower side, and the second coil portion (1220) may be arranged on the other vertical side of the core (1210), that is, the upper side. For example, the first coil portion (1110) may be laminated on the lower surface of the core (1210), and the second coil portion (1220) may be laminated on the upper surface of the core (1210).

[0409] As another example, in the second coil substrate portion (1200), the second coil portion (1220) may be arranged on both upper and lower sides of the core (1210).

[0410] In this embodiment, the second coil substrate portion (1200) is exemplified as including a first coil portion (1120) and a second coil portion (1220), the first coil portion (1120) being arranged on the lower side of the core (1210), and the second coil portion (1220) being arranged on the upper side of the core (1210).

[0411] According to the present embodiment, the heating coil (WC), more specifically, the coil substrate laminate (1010), may include six or more layers of first coil portions (1120). That is, the coil substrate laminate (1010) may include six or more layers of first coil portions (1120) that are connected in the vertical direction and integrally combined.

[0412] In order for the heating coil (WC) to secure a sufficient amount of inductive power to heat the target object, the amount of conductor contained in the heating coil (WC) must be sufficient. There is a limit to increasing the height of the coil pattern (Cp) to increase the amount of conductor contained in the heating coil (WC).

[0413] Considering these points, increasing the number of coil patterns (Cp) per layer forming the heating coil (WC) and increasing the number of layers of coil patterns (Cp) forming the heating coil (WC) can be effective methods for increasing the amount of conductor included in the heating coil (WC).

[0414] According to the present embodiment, three or more coil patterns (Cp) connected in parallel for each layer are arranged along the diameter direction of the heating coil (WC) to form a single coil wire. In addition, three or more coil wires formed in this manner can be stacked in a vertically overlapping manner to form a heating coil (WC).

[0415] Considering the winding spacing of the coil patterns (Cp) and other design conditions, there is a limit to increasing the number of coil patterns (Cp) per layer. For example, increasing the number of coil patterns (Cp) per layer may increase the size of each heating coil (WC), which may result in a problem of having to reduce the number of heating coils (WC) placed in the cooking appliance.

[0416] In addition, when the width of the coil pattern (Cp) is reduced to increase the number of coil patterns (Cp) for each layer, the space required to secure the spacing between the coil patterns (Cp) increases, and thus, despite the increase in the number of coil patterns (Cp), the amount of conductor included in the heating coil (WC) may be reduced.

[0417] In comparison, increasing the number of layers of the coil pattern (Cp) can be said to be a method that causes relatively fewer problems. That is, as the number of layers of the coil pattern (Cp) increases, the amount of conductor included in the heating coil (WC) can also increase, and even if the number of layers of the coil pattern (Cp) increases, there is little concern that the number of heating coils (WC) will decrease or the amount of conductor included in the heating coil (WC) will decrease.

[0418] Considering these points, in the present embodiment, since three or more coil patterns (Cp) are arranged in each layer, three layers of coil patterns (Cp) are arranged in the vertical direction, and three layers of coil lines can be formed. In addition, as three layers of coil lines (e.g., first coil lines) are arranged, considering that three layers of coil lines (e.g., second coil lines) having different patterns from the coil lines must be arranged, it is preferable that the coil substrate laminate (1010) include six or more layers of coil lines.

[0419] Additionally, depending on design conditions, the amount of conductor included in the heating coil (WC) can be more effectively increased by stacking the coil wire in eight or more layers. In the present embodiment, it is exemplified that the first coil portion (1120) is stacked in the vertical direction in eight to twelve layers. However, the present invention is not limited thereto, and the first coil portion (1120) may be stacked in a number of layers exceeding twelve.

[0420] As an example, the coil module (1001, 1003) can be designed so that as the number of layers of the first coil part (1120) increases, the thickness of each layer of the first coil part (1120) decreases, and accordingly, despite the increase in the number of layers of the first coil part (1120), the increase in the overall thickness of the coil module (1001, 1003) can be suppressed to an appropriate level.

[0421] In addition, the coil substrate laminate (1010) may include at least one layer of second coil portions (1220). For example, the coil substrate laminate (1010) may include eight to twelve layers of first coil portions (1120) and one to two layers of second coil portions (1220) that are connected vertically and integrally combined.

[0422] Additionally, the coil substrate laminate (1010) may further include an insulating layer that is laminated vertically together with the first coil portion (1120). In each coil substrate laminate (1010), the coil portions (1120, 1220) and the insulating layer may be arranged alternately vertically.

[0423] In the first coil substrate portion (1100), the insulating layer may be formed by the core (1110). And in the second coil substrate portion (1200), the insulating layer may also be formed by the core (1210).

[0424] In addition, the insulating layer may also be arranged between the coil substrate portions (1100, 1200). For example, the insulating layer may be arranged between a pair of first coil substrate portions (1100) that are vertically adjacent, and the insulating layer may also be arranged between the first coil substrate portion (1100) and the second coil substrate portion (1200). In addition, the insulating layer may also be arranged between a pair of second coil substrate portions (1200) that are vertically adjacent.

[0425] As an example, the insulating layer disposed between the coil substrate portions (1100, 1200) as described above may be formed by an adhesive (1400). According to the present embodiment, a plurality of first coil substrate portions (1100) stacked vertically may be joined by an adhesive (1400), and the first coil substrate portion (1100) and the second coil substrate portion (1200) may also be joined by the adhesive (1400). In addition, a plurality of second coil substrate portions (1200) stacked vertically may also be joined by an adhesive (1400).

[0426] According to this, an insulating layer can be formed by cores (1110, 1210) provided in each of the first coil substrate portion and the second coil substrate portion (1100, 1200; hereinafter referred to as “coil substrate portions”), and an insulating layer can also be formed by adhesives (1400) placed between the coil substrate portions (1100, 1200).

[0427] The core (1110, 1210) may be arranged between a pair of first coil portions (1120) or second coil portions (1220) facing each other in the vertical direction, or between the first coil portion (1120) and the second coil portion (1220), to form an insulating layer therebetween. That is, the core (1110, 1210) may form an insulating layer inside the first coil substrate portion (1100) or inside the second coil substrate portion (1200).

[0428] And the adhesive (1400) can be placed between a pair of first coil portions (1120) facing each other in the vertical direction, a pair of second coil portions (1220) facing each other in the vertical direction, or a first coil portion (1120) and a second coil portion (1220) facing each other in the vertical direction to form an insulating layer therebetween. That is, the adhesive (1400) can form an insulating layer on the outside of the first coil substrate portion (1100) or the second coil substrate portion (1200).

[0429] In this way, either one of the first coil portion and the second coil portion (1120, 1220; hereinafter referred to as “coil portion”) and the insulating layer can be arranged alternately in the vertical direction. That is, the first coil portion (1120) and the insulating layer can be arranged alternately in the vertical direction, and the second coil portion (1220) and the insulating layer can be arranged alternately.

[0430] In addition, in a plurality of insulating layers arranged vertically, the cores (1110, 1210) and the adhesive (1400) may be arranged alternately in the vertical direction. For example, the coil parts (1120, 1220) and the insulating layers may be stacked vertically in the order of '◎first coil part (1120)-core (1110)-first coil part (1120)-adhesive (1400)-first coil part (1120)◎' in the vertical direction.

[0431] In this embodiment, the coil substrate portions (1100, 1200) are exemplified as being formed by a copper-clad laminate including a core (1110, 1210) and a foil, respectively. Accordingly, the core (1110, 1210) may be formed by a thermosetting prepreg.

[0432] As an example, the core (1110, 1210) may be formed of a prepreg of FR4, and the coil portion (1120, 1220) may be formed as a result of a foil laminated to the core (1110, 1210) being patterned into a coil shape. The thickness of the first coil substrate portion (1100) or the second coil substrate portion (1200) may be adjusted by changing the thickness of the core (1110) or changing the thickness of the first coil portion (1120) or the second coil portion (1220).

[0433] Additionally, the adhesive (1400) may be formed of a prepreg material. For example, each adhesive (1400) may include a plurality of prepreg films laminated in a vertical direction. The thickness of the adhesive (1400) may be adjusted by varying the number of prepreg films laminated in a vertical direction.

[0434] The thickness of the adhesive (1400) may be set to be thicker than the thickness of the core (1110, 1210). According to the present embodiment, both the core (1110, 1210) and the adhesive (1400) are formed of prepreg, but the core (1110, 1210) is formed of a thermosetting prepreg, whereas the adhesive (1400) is formed of a non-thermosetting prepreg. Considering this, in the present embodiment, the adhesive (1400) is formed to be thicker than the core (1110, 1210), thereby maintaining the strength of the adhesive (1400) at a similar level to the strength of the core (1110, 1210), and enhancing the strength of the coil module (1001, 1003).

[0435] In addition, the thickness of the adhesive (1400) may be set to be thicker than the thickness of the coil portion (1120, 1220). As an example, the thickness of the adhesive (1400) may be set to be at least twice the thickness of the coil portion (1120, 1220). The adhesive (1400) formed in this manner may contribute to strengthening the strength of the coil portions (1120, 1220) arranged on both sides of the upper and lower directions of the adhesive (1400).

[0436] Meanwhile, the heating coil assembly (1000) of the present embodiment may further include outer layers (1300, 1350). The outer layers (1300, 1350) may be arranged on the upper and lower outer sides of the coil substrate laminate (1010). As an example, the outer layers (1300, 1350) may be arranged on the upper and lower sides of the coil substrate laminate (1010), respectively, and a pair of outer layers (1300, 1350) arranged in this manner may be stacked in the upper and lower directions together with the coil substrate laminate (1010). In this way, a pair of outer layers (1300, 1350) stacked in the upper and lower directions together with the coil substrate laminate (1010) may form the upper and lower sides of the coil modules (1001, 1003).

[0437] The above outer layer portion (1300, 1350) can be divided into a first outer layer portion (1300) and a second outer layer portion (1350). The first outer layer portion (1300), like the first coil portion (1120), can include a plurality of first coil portions (1120) arranged in a horizontal direction. And the second outer layer portion (1350), like the second coil portion (1220), can include a plurality of second coil portions (1220) arranged in a horizontal direction.

[0438] The first outer layer (1300) can form a heating coil (WC) together with a plurality of first coil parts (1120) that are stacked vertically. In addition, the second outer layer (1350) can form a heating coil (WC) together with the second coil part (1220). That is, the first outer layer (1300) can be vertically connected to the first coil part (1120), and the second outer layer (1350) can be vertically connected to the second coil part (1220).

[0439] The first outer layer (1300) may be positioned adjacent to the first coil substrate (1100). As an example, the first outer layer (1300) may be positioned on the lower side of the first coil substrate (1100) and may be vertically connected to the first coil portion (1120). The first outer layer (1300) may form a heating coil (WC) together with the first coil portion (1120).

[0440] The second outer layer (1350) may be positioned adjacent to the second coil substrate (1200). As an example, the second outer layer (1350) may be positioned on the upper side of the second coil substrate (1200) and may be vertically connected to the second coil portion (1220). The second outer layer (1350) may form a sensing coil (SC) together with the second coil portion (1220).

[0441] For example, a coil substrate laminate (1010) may be formed in a form in which a second coil portion (1220) is laminated on the upper side of a plurality of first coil portions (1120). In addition, this coil substrate laminate (1010) may be arranged between a first outer layer portion (1300) and a second outer layer portion (1350) that are arranged to be spaced apart from each other in the vertical direction.

[0442] In this case, the first outer layer (1300) disposed on the lower side of the first coil substrate (1100) forms the lower end of the coil module (1001, 1003), and together with the first coil portion (1120) can form a heating coil (WC). In addition, the second outer layer (1350) disposed on the upper side of the second coil substrate (1200) forms the upper end of the coil module (1001, 1003), and together with the second coil portion (1220) can form a sensing coil (SC).

[0443] According to the present embodiment, a pair of coil parts (1120, 1220) are arranged vertically on each coil substrate part (1100, 1200). That is, two layers of coil parts (1120, 1220) are formed on each coil substrate part (1100, 1200). A coil substrate laminate (1010) formed in a form in which a plurality of such coil substrate parts (1100, 1200) are stacked includes multiple layers of coil parts (1120, 1220), but may include even layers of coil parts (1120, 1220).

[0444] In addition, outer layers (1300, 1350) are respectively combined on both sides in the upper and lower direction of the coil substrate laminate (1010) formed as described above, and accordingly, multiple layers of coil parts (1120, 1220) are arranged in each coil module (1001, 1003), and coil parts (1120, 1220) in even layers can be arranged.

[0445] The outer layer (1300, 1350) can be joined to the coil substrate laminate (1010) by an adhesive (1400) disposed between the coil portion (1120, 1220) and the outer layer (1300, 1350). The adhesive (1400) forms an insulating layer between the coil portion (1120, 1220) and the outer layer (1300, 1350) and can join the coil substrate laminate (1010) and the outer layer (1300, 1350).

[0446] As an example, an adhesive (1400) disposed between the first outer layer portion (1300) and the first coil substrate portion (1100) disposed at the bottom of the coil module (1001, 1003) forms an insulating layer between the first coil portion (1120) provided on the first coil substrate portion (1100) and the first coil portion (1120) provided on the first outer layer portion (1300), and can connect the first coil substrate portion (1100) and the first outer layer portion (1300).

[0447] In addition, the adhesive (1400) disposed between the second outer layer (1350) and the second coil substrate (1200) disposed on the upper side of the coil module (1001, 1003) forms an insulating layer between the second coil portion (1220) provided on the second coil substrate (1200) and the second coil portion (1220) provided on the second outer layer (1350), and can connect the first coil substrate (1100) and the outer layer (1300, 1350).

[0448] In this embodiment, a form in which a coil substrate laminate (1010) and a heating coil (WC) and a sensing coil (SC) are formed by laminating units such as coil substrate portions (1100, 1200) and coil portions (1120, 1220) is exemplified, but the present invention is not limited thereto.

[0449] As another example, a heating coil (WC) and coil modules (1001, 1003) may be formed in a form in which conductors of each layer are sequentially stacked from the bottom layer without a separate substrate. In this case, the coil modules (1001, 1003) may be formed in a form in which conductors and adhesives (1400) for forming the heating coil (WC) are alternately stacked in the vertical direction.

[0450] In addition, although it is expressed above that the coil module (1001, 1003) is formed in a laminated form with each part constituting the coil module (1001, 1003), such as the coil substrate part (1100, 1200), the coil part (1120, 1220), and the conductor, the coil module (1001, 1003) is formed in a form in which each part constituting the coil module (1001, 1003) is integrated.

[0451] That is, the coil module (1001, 1003) of the present embodiment is formed as an integral body, and is not separated into each part constituting the coil module (1001, 1003) unless separate processing such as cutting or chemical treatment is performed.

[0452] [Shape of heating coil]

[0453] Fig. 27 is a plan view illustrating an example of a heating coil, and Fig. 28 is a plan view illustrating another example of a heating coil.

[0454] Referring to FIGS. 17 and 27, the heating coil (WC) may be formed into a shape including a polygonal shape. For example, the horizontal outer shape of the heating coil (WC) may be a polygonal shape. In other words, the shape of the heating coil (WC) when viewed from above may be a polygonal shape.

[0455] As an example, the outer shape of the heating coil (WC) may be approximately rectangular. In addition, the outer shape of the coil module (1001, 1003) including the heating coil (WC) may also be polygonal. In addition, the heating coil (WC) may be formed by a patterned coil patterned on an insulating layer. For example, the heating coil (WC) may be formed by a patterned coil patterned on an insulating layer rather than a Litz coil wound in a nearly circular shape.

[0456] By forming the heating coil (WC) in a pattern shape in this way, the outer shape of the heating coil (WC) can be easily formed into a polygonal shape, more specifically, into a roughly rectangular shape.

[0457] In addition, since the outer shape of the heating coil (WC) is formed in this form, the heating coil (WC) can occupy an area very close to the edge of the coil module (1001, 1003), so that the density of the area occupied by the heating coil (WC) within the coil module (1001, 1003) can be effectively increased.

[0458] In addition, the horizontal outer shape of each first coil substrate portion (1100) provided on each heating coil (WC) (hereinafter referred to as “outer shape of the first coil substrate portion”) may be a polygonal shape. For example, the outer shape of the first coil substrate portion (1100) may be approximately rectangular.

[0459] In addition, the horizontal outer shape of the core (1110) forming the skeleton of each first coil substrate portion (1100) (hereinafter referred to as “outer shape of the core”) may be a polygonal shape, similar to the shape of the coil module (1001, 1003) and the first coil substrate portion (1100).

[0460] As an example, the heating coil (WC) may be formed into a square spiral shape. For example, the heating coil (WC) may be formed into a square spiral shape in which a first straight line (l1), which is a straight line in the first direction, and a second straight line (L2), which is a straight line in the second direction, are alternately connected to each other. In addition, the outer shape of the core (1110) of the first coil substrate portion (1100) forming the heating coil (WC) may be formed into a square shape similar to the outer shape of the heating coil (WC).

[0461] Accordingly, at least one of the plurality of outer edges of the heating coil (WC) may include a straight line parallel to one of the plurality of outer edges of the core (1110) that is closest thereto. For example, a first straight line (L1) arranged at the frontmost side of the heating coil (WC) may be formed as a straight line parallel to the front outer edge of the core (1110), and a second straight line (L2) arranged at the rightmost side of the heating coil (WC) may be formed as a straight line parallel to the right outer edge of the core (1110).

[0462] By forming the outer shape of the core (1110) and the outer shape of the heating coil (WC) in the above-described form, the heating coil (WC) can occupy an area very close to the edge of the coil module (1001, 1003), and the density of the area occupied by the heating coil (WC) within the coil module (1001, 1003) can be effectively increased.

[0463] In addition, according to the present embodiment, each coil module (1001, 1003) may include a plurality of heating coils (WC). That is, each coil module (1001, 1003) may include an assembly of a plurality of heating coils (WC) arranged in a horizontal direction. For example, each coil module (1001, 1003) may be provided with an assembly of heating coils (WC) including eight heating coils (WC) arranged in a 2-column x 4-row configuration along the horizontal direction.

[0464] According to the present embodiment, the outer shape of the assembly of the heating coils (WC) may be a polygonal shape. That is, the outer shape of each coil module (1001, 1003) and the outer shape of the assembly of the heating coils (WC) provided in the coil module (1001, 1003) may both be a polygonal shape.

[0465] As an example, the outer shape of a group of heating coils (WC) may be arranged in a square shape. That is, a plurality of heating coils (WC) provided in each coil module (1001, 1003) may be arranged in a square shape.

[0466] As another example, as illustrated in FIG. 28, the outer shape of the heating coil (WCa) may be hexagonal. For example, the heating coil (WCa) may be formed in a hexagonal spiral shape. Accordingly, a plurality of heating coils (WCa) may be arranged in a honeycomb shape in the coil module (1001a).

[0467] By arranging a plurality of heating coils (WCa) each formed in a hexagonal spiral shape in a honeycomb shape, the centers of all heating coils (WCa) provided in the coil module (1001a) can be maintained at the same distance. For example, all heating coils (WCa) provided in the coil module (1001a) can be arranged so that the center distance from other adjacent heating coils (WCa) is maintained at a specified value.

[0468] The heating coil (WCa) provided in this form can provide an advantage in that the structural design of the heating coil assembly (1000) can be made easier so that the heating coil (WCa) can perform both the function of detecting the presence of a heating target and the function of heating the heating target by making the center distances between adjacent heating coils (WCa) the same.

[0469] As another example, the outer shape of the heating coil may be circular or elliptical. For example, the heating coil may be formed into a spiral shape similar to a circular or elliptical shape. Even in this case, the coil modules may be arranged so that the centers of all heating coils provided in the coil module are equally spaced.

[0470] [Structure of the first vertical connection]

[0471] Fig. 29 is an enlarged view showing the first coil portion, Fig. 30 is a drawing showing an example of a stack of coil patterns and a first vertical connection portion, and Fig. 31 is a cross-sectional view showing the structure of the stack of coil patterns and the first vertical connection portion shown in Fig. 30. In addition, Fig. 32 is a drawing showing another example of a stack of coil patterns and the first vertical connection portion, and Fig. 33 is a cross-sectional view showing the structure of the stack of coil patterns and the first vertical connection portion shown in Fig. 32, and Fig. 34 is a drawing showing another example of the first vertical connection portion. In addition, Fig. 35 is a drawing showing an example of a connection structure of the stack of coil patterns and the first vertical connection portion shown in Fig. 34, and Fig. 36 is a cross-sectional view showing the structure of the stack of coil patterns and the first vertical connection portion shown in Fig. 35. In addition, FIG. 37 is a drawing showing another example of the connection structure of the laminate of the coil pattern and the first vertical connection part shown in FIG. 34, and FIG. 38 is a cross-sectional view showing the structure of the laminate of the coil pattern and the first vertical connection part shown in FIG. 37. In addition, FIG. 39 is a drawing showing another example of the connection structure of the laminate of the coil pattern and the first vertical connection part, and FIG. 40 is a cross-sectional view showing the structure of the laminate of the coil pattern and the first vertical connection part shown in FIG. 39. In addition, FIG. 41 is a drawing showing another example of the connection structure of the laminate of the coil pattern and the first vertical connection part, and FIG. 42 is a cross-sectional view showing the structure of the laminate of the coil pattern and the first vertical connection part shown in FIG. 41.

[0472] Referring to FIGS. 6, 17, and 29, the heating coil assembly (1000) of the present embodiment may further include a first vertical connecting portion (1030). The first vertical connecting portion (1030) is provided to vertically connect a plurality of first coil portions (1120) stacked vertically in each coil substrate laminate (1010).

[0473] Each first vertical connecting portion (1030) can vertically penetrate a plurality of first coil substrate portions (1100) and vertically connect a plurality of first coil portions (1120) arranged on the same straight line in the vertical direction. Each heating coil (WC) can be formed as a result of a plurality of first coil portions (1120) arranged on the same straight line in the vertical direction being vertically connected by the first vertical connecting portion (1030).

[0474] Each first vertical connection portion (1030) may include a via (V). Each via (V) may vertically connect a plurality of coil patterns (Cp) stacked in the vertical direction, one for each first coil portion (1120).

[0475] For example, each via (V) is connected to one coil pattern (Cp) in each first coil substrate portion (1100), and a plurality of coil patterns (Cp) stacked vertically can be vertically connected. In addition, in each first coil portion (1120), each via (V) can be horizontally connected to a coil pattern (Cp).

[0476] As an example, the first coil portion (1120) may be formed in a square spiral shape. For example, the first coil portion (1120) may be formed in a square spiral shape in which a first straight line (L1), which is a straight line in the first direction, and a second straight line (L2), which is a straight line in the second direction, are alternately connected to each other.

[0477] According to the present embodiment, the region in which the coil pattern (Cp) is arranged among each of the first coil portions (1120) can be divided into a plurality of distinct regions (1120a). At this time, the plurality of distinct regions (1120a) can be arranged along the diametric direction of the spiral formed by the first coil portion (1120) (hereinafter referred to as “diametric direction”).

[0478] For example, when looking at the vertical cross-section of each first coil portion (1120), a plurality of segmented areas (1120a) may be arranged along the horizontal direction. As an example, when the first coil portion (1120) includes six coil patterns (Cp), each segmented area (1120a) may include six coil patterns (Cp) arranged along the diametric direction.

[0479] Although Fig. 29 illustrates a form in which the first coil portion (1120) includes six coil patterns (Cp), the present invention is not limited thereto. As another example, the first coil portion (1120) may include four coil patterns (Cp), and thus, each segmented area (1120a) may include four coil patterns (Cp) arranged along the diametric direction (see Fig. 34). As yet another example, the first coil portion (1120) may include three coil patterns (Cp), and thus, each segmented area (1120a) may include three coil patterns (Cp) arranged along the diametric direction.

[0480] As described above, the first coil portion (1120) including a plurality of segmented areas (1120a) may further include a separation area (1120b) in which the coil pattern (Cp) is not arranged. According to the present embodiment, the plurality of segmented areas (1120a) provided in the first coil portion (1120) are arranged at a predetermined interval along the diametrical direction. In addition, the separation area (1120b) may be arranged in a gap between the plurality of segmented areas (1120a). That is, in each first coil portion (1120), the separation areas (1120a) and the separation areas (1120b) may be arranged alternately in the diametrical direction.

[0481] For example, when looking at the vertical cross-section of each first coil portion (1120), for example, when looking at the vertical cross-section of each first coil portion (1120), a plurality of segmented areas (1120a) and separated areas (1120b) are arranged along the horizontal direction, and the segmented areas (1120a) and separated areas (1120b) can be arranged alternately in the horizontal direction.

[0482] The first vertical connecting portion (1030) may be placed in a separation area (1120b). That is, the first vertical connecting portion (1030) may be placed in a gap between a plurality of separation areas (1120a) and may include at least one via (V) placed in the separation area (1120b).

[0483] According to the present embodiment, a single coil wire (1123, 1124) is formed by a set of a plurality of coil patterns (Cp) arranged along the diametrical direction, and this single coil wire (1123, 1124) can be wound multiple times to form a single first coil portion (1120). That is, a plurality of coil patterns (Cp) can be arranged diametrically on each coil wire (1123, 1124), and each coil pattern (Cp) can extend along the circumferential direction (hereinafter, referred to as “circumferential direction”) of the spiral formed by the first coil portion (1120).

[0484] In this way, a plurality of coil patterns (Cp) forming the coil wire (1123, 1124) can form a twisted structure within the heating coil (WC). As an example, each coil pattern (Cp) can extend in the circumferential direction, as illustrated in FIG. 30, but can extend in a direction between the circumferential direction and the diametric direction. That is, each coil pattern (Cp) forming the coil wire (1123, 1124) can extend in the circumferential direction while forming a diagonal line inclined in the diametric direction.

[0485] For example, one coil pattern (Cp) arranged at the outermost side in the diametric direction of the coil wire (1123, 1124) at one position along the circumferential direction may be arranged at the diametric center of the coil wire (1123, 1124) at another position along the circumferential direction, and may be arranged at the innermost side of the coil wire (1123, 1124) at another position along the circumferential direction.

[0486] That is, each coil wire (1123, 1124) forming the first coil portion (1120) can form a transverse twist structure within the first coil portion (1120) in a manner that changes the diametrical position between coil patterns (Cp) within the coil wire (1123, 1124).

[0487] In this embodiment, the coil wires (1123, 1124) are exemplified as being divided into a first coil wire (1123) and a second coil wire (1124). In the first coil wire (1123), each coil pattern (Cp) may form a diagonal line inclined in the centripetal direction and extend along the circumferential direction. And in the second coil wire (1124), each coil pattern (Cp) may form a diagonal line inclined in the centrifugal direction and extend along the circumferential direction.

[0488] According to this embodiment, a first coil wire (1123) and a second coil wire (1124) stacked in a vertical direction can be connected in a vertical direction to form a heating coil (WC), and a first vertical connecting portion (1030) can connect the first coil wire (1123) and the second coil wire (1124) stacked in a vertical direction in a vertical direction.

[0489] Each first vertical connecting portion (1030) is connected to one coil pattern (Cp) per coil line (1123, 1124) and can vertically connect a plurality of coil patterns (Cp) stacked vertically. In addition, each coil pattern (Cp) can be connected to a plurality of first vertical connecting portions (1030) arranged along the circumferential direction. That is, each coil pattern (Cp) can be vertically connected to another coil pattern (Cp) arranged above or below it at a plurality of points along the circumferential direction.

[0490] Accordingly, the first coil wire (1123) and the second coil wire (1124) are connected in a manner in which the coil pattern (Cp) of the first coil wire (1123) and the coil pattern (Cp) of the second coil wire (1124) are alternately connected to each other. That is, the first coil wire (1123) and the second coil wire (1124) that are stacked vertically can form a vertically twisted structure within the heating coil (WC) in a manner in which the first coil wire (1123) and the second coil wire (1124) are alternately connected to each other.

[0491] According to this, each of the coil wires (1123, 1124) forming the first coil portion (1120) forms a horizontal twist structure within the first coil portion (1120), and the first coil wire (1123) and the second coil wire (1124) stacked vertically form a vertical twist structure, so that a plurality of coil patterns (Cp) forming the heating coil (WC) can form a twist structure in the shape of a twisted bundle.

[0492] The twisted structure of the heating coil (WC) formed in this way not only allows the length of the connection formed as a result of connecting a plurality of coil patterns (Cp) to form the heating coil (WC) to increase, but also provides the advantage of preventing the position of each coil pattern (Cp) from being biased only toward the innermost or outermost side within each heating coil (WC).

[0493] Meanwhile, referring to FIGS. 29 to 31, each via (V) may include a hole portion (Va), an inner wall portion (Vb), and a land portion (Vc). The hole portion (Va) may be formed in the shape of a hole that vertically penetrates at least a portion of the coil substrate laminate (1010). This hole portion (Va) may vertically penetrate an area in which the first coil substrate portion (1100) among the coil substrate laminate (1010) is laminated.

[0494] The inner wall portion (Vb) is arranged inside the hole portion (Va) and can vertically connect a plurality of coil patterns (Cp) that are stacked vertically. The inner wall portion (Vb) includes a conductor arranged in the hole portion (Va) and can electrically connect a plurality of coil patterns (Cp) that are stacked vertically. As an example, the inner wall portion (Vb) can be formed in the form of a copper foil that is plated on the inner wall of the first coil substrate portion (1100) that surrounds the hole portion (Va).

[0495] The land portion (Vc) can electrically connect the inner wall portion (Vb) and the coil pattern (Cp). This land portion (Vc) can be formed in the form of copper foil plated on the upper or lower surface of the first coil substrate portion (1100), and can be electrically connected to the inner wall portion (Vb) and the coil pattern (Cp), respectively.

[0496] Each first vertical connection portion (1030) configured in the above-described form may further include a via connection portion (Vd). The via connection portion (Vd) is provided to electrically connect between the coil pattern (Cp) and the via (V), more specifically, between the coil pattern (Cp) and the land portion (Vc). This via connection portion (Vd) may be formed in a pattern shape that protrudes horizontally from the coil pattern (Cp) toward the separation area (1120b).

[0497] As an example, the via connection portion (Vd) may be formed to extend from the coil pattern (Cp) in a direction between the diametric direction and the circumferential direction of the spiral formed by the first coil portion (1120). For example, the via connection portion (Vd) may be formed in a straight line shape that connects the coil pattern (Cp) and the via (V) in a direction between the diametric direction and the circumferential direction.

[0498] Each via (V) provided in the above-described form is connected to one coil pattern (Cp) per coil line (1123, 1124) and can vertically connect multiple coil patterns (Cp). The first vertical connection portion (1030) including such a via (V) can electrically connect multiple coil patterns (Cp) stacked vertically.

[0499] As an example, a heating coil (WC) is formed as a result of a plurality of coil wires (1123, 1124) stacked vertically and connected vertically, and is exemplified as being formed by a connection between a group in which a plurality of first coil wires (1123) are continuously connected vertically and a group in which a plurality of second coil wires (1124) are continuously connected vertically.

[0500] For example, a heating coil (WC) can be formed as a result of four to five first coil wires (1123) being connected continuously in the vertical direction and four to five second coil wires (1124) being connected continuously in the vertical direction on the lower side of the assembly.

[0501] A heating coil (WC) of this type can advantageously respond to cases where interlayer coil wires (1123, 1124) are accidentally joined due to various unknown reasons due to the characteristics of the micro-process. The arrangement of the coil wires (1123, 1124) of the above type can be an arrangement that can improve the reliability of coil formation because the coil wires (1123, 1124) of the same current direction are adjacent to each other.

[0502] As another example, as illustrated in FIGS. 32 and 33, the first coil wire (1123) and the second coil wire (1124) may be arranged alternately in the vertical direction. That is, in a state where the first coil wire (1123) and the second coil wire (1124) are arranged alternately in the vertical direction, a vertical connection between the first coil wire (1123) and the second coil wire (1124) is made, and a heating coil (WC) may be formed as a result of a plurality of first coil wires (1123) and second coil wires (1124) being connected vertically in this manner.

[0503] In the case where the coil wires (1123, 1124) are connected continuously, the current is concentrated at the upper and lower middle point of the via (V), that is, the point where the first coil wire (1123) and the second coil wire (1124) come into contact, and accordingly, heat generation increases at the relevant area, and it may become difficult for the current to flow smoothly through the via (V) (see FIGS. 31 and 32).

[0504] In comparison, when the coil wires (1123, 1124) are arranged alternately, each of the first coil wires (1123) can be arranged adjacent to each of the second coil wires (1124) and form a pair. Accordingly, when the coil wires (1123, 1124) are arranged alternately, the current flows separately, and the amount of heat generated can be relatively reduced. In other words, not only can the flow of current through the via (V) be performed smoothly, but also the phenomenon of heat being concentrated in a part of the via (V) can be effectively suppressed.

[0505] As described above, each of the first vertical connecting portions (1030) that vertically connect the first coil wire (1123) and the second coil wire (1124) may include at least one via (V). As an example, each of the first vertical connecting portions (1030) may include one via (V).

[0506] According to the present embodiment, the via (V) may be arranged in the separation area (1120b). For example, the via (V) may be arranged further inside than the diametrically innermost one among the plurality of coil patterns (Cp) forming each coil line (1123, 1124), or the via may be arranged further outside than the outermost one among the coil patterns (Cp).

[0507] As an example, the distance between the innermost one of the plurality of coil patterns (Cp) and the center of the via (V) or the distance between the innermost one of the plurality of coil patterns (Cp) and the center of the via (V) can be set to be longer than the radius of the via (V).

[0508] Accordingly, the via (V) placed in the separation area (1120b) can be placed so as not to come into contact with a coil pattern (Cp) adjacent in the diametric direction, that is, a coil pattern (Cp) other than the coil pattern (Cp) directly connected to the via (V).

[0509] In addition, the vertical distance between the center of the via (V) and the first straight line (L1), or the vertical distance between the center of the via (V) and the second straight line (V), may be set to be longer than the radius of the via (V). In addition, the horizontal length of the separation area (1120b) may be formed to be longer than the diameter of the via (V). In these cases as well, the via (V) can be placed in the separation area (1120b) so that contact between the via (V) and the coil pattern (Cp) is not formed.

[0510] As another example, each first vertical connecting portion (1030) may include a plurality of vias (V), as illustrated in FIGS. 34 to 36. For example, each first vertical connecting portion (1030) may include a plurality of vias (V) arranged along the circumferential direction (hereinafter referred to as “circumferential direction”) of the spiral formed by the first coil portion (1120).

[0511] Each via (V) included in the first vertical connection portion (1030) can form a passage connecting a plurality of coil patterns (Cp) stacked in the vertical direction. The width of the passage formed by each via (V) is mainly related to the area of the inner wall portion (Vb). That is, as the area of the inner wall portion (Vb) increases, the width of the passage formed by the via (V) can increase.

[0512] The area of the inner wall portion (Vb) is mainly related to the diameter of the hole portion (Va). That is, as the diameter of the hole portion (Va) increases, the area of the inner wall portion (Vb) can increase, and accordingly, the passage formed by the via (V) can be widened. When the first vertical connecting portion (1030) includes one via (V), the diameter of the hole portion (Va) must increase in order to increase the area of the inner wall portion (Vb).

[0513] However, since the via (V) must be placed in the separation area (1120b), that is, in the area where the coil pattern (Cp) is not present, the size of the separation area (1120b) must increase accordingly in order for the diameter of the hole (Va) to increase. To this end, not only the length of the separation area (1120b) in the circumferential direction but also the length of the separation area (1120b) in the diametric direction must increase. However, if the length of the separation area (1120b) in the diametric direction increases, the area of the area where the coil pattern (Cp) can be placed in the first coil portion (1120) inevitably decreases.

[0514] Taking these points into consideration, in the present embodiment, each first vertical connection portion (1030) can be formed by a plurality of vias (V) arranged along the circumferential direction. Accordingly, each first vertical connection portion (1030) can form a plurality of passages connecting a plurality of coil patterns (Cp) stacked in the vertical direction.

[0515] That is, a plurality of coil patterns (Cp) stacked vertically can be vertically connected by a plurality of passages formed by a plurality of vias (V) forming one first vertical connection portion (1030).

[0516] In each first vertical connection portion (1030), a plurality of vias (V) arranged in a horizontal direction can be electrically connected to each other. That is, in each first vertical connection portion (1030), the electrical connection between the plurality of vias (V) can be achieved by a coil pattern (Cp) electrically connected to the plurality of vias (V), or by connecting the land portions (Vc) provided in each via (V) to each other.

[0517] As described above, since the first vertical connection part (1030) has a plurality of vias, the area of the inner wall part (Vb) of the first vertical connection part (1030) can increase, and accordingly, the resistance in the first vertical connection part (1030) can be lowered, and the amount of heat generated in the first vertical connection part (1030) can be reduced.

[0518] As described above, a plurality of vias (V) constituting the first vertical connection portion (1030) are arranged in the separation area (1120b) and can be connected to a via connection portion (Vd) protruding from the coil pattern (Cp) to the separation area (1120b). At this time, the via connection portion (Vd) forms a straight line extending from the coil pattern (Cp) in a direction between the radial direction and the circumferential direction, and a plurality of vias (V) connected thereto can be arranged along the circumferential direction.

[0519] When the first coil portion (1120) is formed in a square spiral shape, the first vertical connection portion (1030) may be connected to the first straight line (L1) or may be connected to the second straight line (L2). When the first vertical connection portion (1030) is connected to the first straight line (L1), the first vertical connection portion (1030) may include a plurality of vias (V) arranged along the first direction. When the first vertical connection portion (1030) is connected to the second straight line (L2), the first vertical connection portion (1030) may include a plurality of vias (V) arranged along the second direction.

[0520] The first vertical connecting portion (1030) and a plurality of vias (V) included therein are arranged in a separation area (1120b). Accordingly, the first vertical connecting portion (1030) and the first straight line (L1) connected to the first straight line (L1) can be arranged in the second direction, and the first vertical connecting portion (1030) and the second straight line (L2) connected to the second straight line (L2) can be arranged in the first direction. That is, the first vertical connecting portion (1030) and the first straight line (L1) connected to the first straight line (L1) can be arranged in the diametric direction, and the first vertical connecting portion (1030) and the second straight line (L2) connected to the second straight line (L2) can also be arranged in the diametric direction.

[0521] Since multiple vias (V) form multiple passages in each first vertical connecting portion (1030), the width of the passage formed by each first vertical connecting portion (1030) can be increased compared to the case where the vertical connecting portion includes only one via (V). For example, the width of the passage formed by the first vertical connecting portion (1030) can be increased in proportion to the number of vias (V).

[0522] According to the present embodiment, a plurality of vias (V) forming each first vertical connection portion (1030) may be arranged along the circumferential direction. That is, in each first vertical connection portion (1030), the plurality of vias (V) may not be arranged in a direction parallel to the straight line formed by the via connection portion (Vd), but may be arranged along the circumferential direction.

[0523] If a plurality of vias (V) in the first vertical connection portion (1030) are arranged in a direction parallel to the straight line formed by the via connection portion (Vd), for example, in a direction between the radial direction and the circumferential direction, the size of the separation area (1120b) in which the first vertical connection portion (1030) is arranged must be increased, the number of vias (V) must be decreased, or the size of the vias (V) must be decreased.

[0524] In comparison, in the present embodiment, a plurality of vias (V) are arranged along the circumferential direction in the first vertical connecting portion (1030). Accordingly, even if each first vertical connecting portion (1030) includes a plurality of vias (V), the size of the separation area (1120b) in which the first vertical connecting portion (1030) is arranged does not need to increase, and in particular, the length of the separation area (1120b) along the diametric direction does not need to increase.

[0525] Accordingly, the first vertical connecting portion (1030) of the present embodiment can effectively increase the width of the passage formed by the first vertical connecting portion (1030) to connect a plurality of coil patterns (Cp) in the vertical direction while suppressing a decrease in the width of the area where the coil pattern (Cp) can be placed in the first coil portion (1120).

[0526] In this embodiment, it is illustrated that a plurality of vias (V) constituting the first vertical connecting portion (1030) are arranged in a direction parallel to the circumferential direction, but the present invention is not limited thereto.

[0527] As another example, the vias (V) may be arranged radially or in a direction between the radial and circumferential directions within a range where the vias (V) do not exceed the separation area (1120b), the vias (V) may be arranged in a shape that forms a bent line or curve rather than a straight line, or may be arranged in a polygonal, circular, or oval shape.

[0528] As an example, the distance between the innermost one of the plurality of coil patterns (Cp) and the center of the via (V) or the distance between the innermost one of the plurality of coil patterns (Cp) and the center of the via (V) can be set to be longer than the radius of the via (V).

[0529] Accordingly, the via (V) placed in the separation area (1120b) can be placed so as not to come into contact with a coil pattern (Cp) adjacent in the diametric direction, that is, a coil pattern (Cp) other than the coil pattern (Cp) directly connected to the via (V).

[0530] In addition, the vertical distance between the center of the via (V) and the first straight line (L1), or the vertical distance between the center of the via (V) and the second straight line (V), may be set to be longer than the radius of the via (V). In addition, the horizontal length of the separation area (1120b) may be formed to be longer than the diameter of the via (V). In these cases as well, the via (V) can be placed in the separation area (1120b) so that contact between the via (V) and the coil pattern (Cp) is not formed.

[0531] Also, as another example, as shown in FIGS. 37 and 38, a plurality of vias (V) may be provided in the first vertical connection portion (1030), and the first coil line (1123) and the second coil line (1124) may be arranged alternately in the vertical direction.

[0532] As another example, as illustrated in FIGS. 39 to 40, the first vertical connection portion (1030) may include more than two vias (V), for example, five vias (V), and a plurality of such vias (V) may be arranged along the circumferential direction.

[0533] As another example, as illustrated in FIGS. 41 and 42, more than two vias (V) may be provided in the first vertical connecting portion (1030), and the first coil line (1123) and the second coil line (1124) may be arranged alternately in the vertical direction.

[0534] As another example, two or more coil patterns (Cp) may be arranged diametrically. And the horizontal length of the separation area (1120b) may be formed to be longer than twice the diameter of the via (V). For example, when two coil patterns (Cp) are arranged diametrically, the horizontal length of the separation area (1120b) may be formed to be longer than twice the diameter of the via (V), and when three or more coil patterns (Cp) are arranged diametrically, the horizontal length of the separation area (1120b) may be formed to be longer than three times the diameter of the via (V).

[0535] Accordingly, even when a plurality of vias (V) are arranged diametrically in the separation area (1120b), the vias (V) can be arranged in the separation area (1120b) so that contact between the vias (V) and the coil pattern (Cp) is not made.

[0536] [Structure of the sensing coil]

[0537] Fig. 43 is a cross-sectional view showing an example of a laminated structure of the second outer layer portion and the second coil substrate portion, Fig. 44 is an enlarged view showing a portion of the second outer layer portion, and Fig. 45 is an enlarged view showing a portion of the second coil substrate portion.

[0538] According to the present embodiment, as illustrated in FIG. 7 and FIGS. 43 to 37, a sensing coil (SC) may be formed by a second coil portion (1220) provided on each of the second coil substrate portions (1200). Each sensing coil (SC) may be formed by one second coil portion (1220), or may be formed as a result of a plurality of second coil portions (1220) stacked vertically and connected vertically.

[0539] As an example, the sensing coil (SC) may be placed on the upper side of the heating coil (WC). Each second coil substrate portion (1200) may include a core (1210) and a second coil portion (1220). In addition, each second coil substrate portion (1200) may further include a first coil portion (1120).

[0540] The second coil portion (1220) may be arranged on at least one of the upper and lower sides of the core (1210). For example, when the second coil substrate portion (1200) includes both the first coil portion (1120) and the second coil portion (1220), the first coil portion (1120) may be arranged on one upper and lower side of the core (1210), and the second coil portion (1220) may be arranged on the other upper and lower side of the core (1210). For example, the first coil portion (1120) may be provided in a patterned form on the lower side of the core (1210), and the second coil portion (1220) may be provided in a patterned form on the upper side of the core (1210).

[0541] When the second coil substrate portion (1200) includes only the core (1210) and the second coil portion (1220), the second coil portions (1220) may be arranged on each of the upper and lower sides of the core (1210). For example, each of the second coil substrate portions (1200) may be provided in a form in which one layer of the second coil portions (1220) is formed on each of the upper and lower sides of the core (1210). These second coil portions (1220) may be provided in a patterned form on each of the upper and lower sides of the core (1210), similar to the first coil portion (1120).

[0542] In this embodiment, each second coil substrate portion (1200) includes a core (1210), a first coil portion (1120), and a second coil portion (1220), and the first coil portion (1120) is provided in a patterned form on the lower side of the core (1210), and the second coil portion (1220) is provided in a patterned form on the upper side of the core (1210).

[0543] In addition, a second outer layer (1350) may be arranged on the upper side of the second coil substrate (1200), and this second outer layer (1350) may include a second coil portion (1220) like the second coil substrate (1200). One second coil portion (1220) provided on the second coil substrate (1200) and one second coil portion (1220) provided on the second outer layer (1350) may be connected in the vertical direction to form one sensing coil (SC).

[0544] In addition, a plurality of second coil portions (1220) may be arranged horizontally on each of the second coil substrate portion (1200) and the second outer layer portion (1350), and accordingly, the coil modules (1001, 1003) may include a plurality of sensing coils (SC) arranged horizontally.

[0545] In each coil module (1001, 1003), the sensing coil (SC) may be arranged on the upper and lower outer side of the first coil substrate portion (1100). For example, the sensing coil (SC) may be arranged on the upper or lower side of the first coil substrate portion (1100).

[0546] As another example, the sensing coil (SC) may be placed on the lower side of the heating coil (WC). In this case, the second coil substrate portion (1200) may be placed on the lower side of the first coil substrate portion (1100), and the second coil portion (1220) may be placed on the lower side of the core (1210). In addition, the outer layer portion (1300, 1350) formed in the same or similar shape as the second coil portion (1220) may be placed on the lower side of the second coil portion (1220) and may be vertically connected to the second coil portion (1220).

[0547] As another example, the sensing coil (SC) may be arranged inside the heating coil (WC). In this case, at least one first coil substrate portion (1100) may be arranged on the lower side of the second coil substrate portion (1200), and at least one first coil substrate portion (1100) may also be arranged on the upper side of the second coil substrate portion (1200). Accordingly, the sensing coil (SC) may be arranged between the stacks of the first coil substrate portions (1100), thereby being arranged inside the heating coil (WC) formed by the stacks of the first coil substrate portions (1100).

[0548] Meanwhile, the heating coil assembly (1000) of the present embodiment may further include a second vertical connection portion (1040). The second vertical connection portion (1040) is provided to vertically connect a coil substrate laminate (1010) having a second coil substrate portion (1200) and a second outer layer portion (1350) stacked vertically, or a coil substrate laminate (1010) having a plurality of second coil substrate portions (1200) stacked vertically.

[0549] Each coil module (1001, 1003) may include a plurality of second vertical connecting portions (1040). Each second vertical connecting portion (1040) may vertically connect a plurality of second coil portions (1220) arranged in the same straight line in the vertical direction.

[0550] As an example, in a case where the second outer layer (1350) is laminated on the upper side of the second coil substrate portion (1200) in the coil substrate laminate (1010), each second vertical connection portion (1040) can vertically penetrate the second outer layer (1350) and the second coil substrate portion (1200) and vertically connect the second coil portions (1220). In this case, each sensing coil (SC) can be formed as a result of the second outer layer (1350) and the second coil portion (1220) of the second coil substrate portion (1200) being vertically connected by the second vertical connection portion (1040).

[0551] As another example, when a plurality of second coil portions (1220) are stacked vertically in each coil substrate laminate (1010), each second vertical connection portion (1040) can vertically penetrate the plurality of second coil substrate portions (1200) and vertically connect the second coil portions (1220). In this case, each sensing coil (SC) can be formed as a result of the second coil portions (1220) of the plurality of second coil substrate portions (1200) stacked vertically being vertically connected by the second vertical connection portion (1040).

[0552] The second vertical connection portion (1040) may be placed in an area of the second coil substrate portion (1200) where the first coil portion (1120) is not placed, and may be horizontally connected to the second coil portion (1220) or the outer layer portion (1300, 1350). Each second vertical connection portion (1040), like the first vertical connection portion (1030), may include a via (V).

[0553] Each via (V) can vertically connect the outer layer portion (1300, 1350) and the second coil portion (1220), which are arranged on the same straight line in the vertical direction. Each of these vias (V) can be arranged in an area of the second coil substrate portion (1200) where the first coil portion (1120) is not arranged, and can be horizontally connected to the second coil portion (1220) or the outer layer portion (1300, 1350).

[0554] According to the present embodiment, at least one of the plurality of second coil portions (1220) arranged in the horizontal direction may be arranged at a position that vertically overlaps with the non-patterned area (1103, 1105) of the first coil portion (1120). At this time, at least a portion of the second coil portion (1220) may be arranged at a position that vertically overlaps with the non-patterned area (1103, 1105) of the first coil portion (1120).

[0555] More specifically, at least one of the plurality of second coil portions (1220) arranged horizontally may be positioned at a position that vertically overlaps the second non-patterned area (1105). At this time, at least a portion of the second coil portion (1220) may be positioned at a position that vertically overlaps the second non-patterned area (1105).

[0556] Additionally, the second vertical connection portion (1040) connected to the second coil portion (1220) and the via (V) included therein can be positioned to overlap the second non-pattern area (1105) in the vertical direction.

[0557] Meanwhile, each heating coil (WC) may be arranged to be spaced apart from another heating coil (WC) adjacent to it in the first direction by a predetermined distance in the first direction, and may be spaced apart from another heating coil (WC) adjacent to it in the second direction by a predetermined distance in the second direction. That is, a space may be formed between two heating coils (WC) adjacent to it in the first direction, and a space may also be formed between two heating coils (WC) adjacent to it in the second direction.

[0558] According to the present embodiment, at least one of the plurality of second coil parts (1220) may be positioned at a position that vertically overlaps a space formed between two heating coils (WC) adjacent in the second direction. At this time, at least a portion of the second coil part (1220) may be positioned at a position that vertically overlaps the space.

[0559] In addition, the second vertical connection part (1040) connected to the second coil part (1220) and the via (V) included therein can be positioned to overlap the separation space in the vertical direction.

[0560] Typically, the formation of the second vertical connection portion (1040) is performed after the lamination work of the first coil substrate portion (1100) and the second coil substrate portion (1200) for forming the coil substrate laminate (1010) is completed. That is, in a state where both the first coil substrate portion (1100) and the second coil substrate portion (1200) are laminated, the hole portion (Va) processing for forming the via (V) of the second vertical connection portion (1040) is performed.

[0561] However, if the second vertical connecting portion (1040) is positioned so as to overlap the coil pattern (Cp) of the first coil portion (1120) in the vertical direction, the coil pattern (Cp) may be damaged by the punching work for processing the hole portion (Va). If the second vertical connecting portion (1040) formation work is performed before the lamination work of the first coil substrate portion (1100) and the second coil substrate portion (1200) is performed, the first vertical connecting portion (1030) formation work and the second vertical connecting portion (1040) formation work have to be performed separately. In this case, the problem arises that the number of man-hours and the manufacturing cost increase when manufacturing the heating coil assembly (1000).

[0562] Considering these points, in the present embodiment, the second vertical connecting portion (1040) is positioned so as to vertically overlap with the non-patterned area (1103, 1105) of the first coil portion (1120). Accordingly, since the second vertical connecting portion (1040) is positioned so as not to vertically overlap with the coil pattern (Cp) of the first coil portion (1120), the punching operation for forming the second vertical connecting portion (1040) does not affect the non-patterned area (1103, 1105) of the first coil portion (1120).

[0563] That is, when the arrangement of the second vertical connection portion (1040) is made as exemplified in this embodiment, even if the punching work for forming the second vertical connection portion (1040) is performed in a state where the lamination work of the first coil substrate portion (1100) and the second coil substrate portion (1200) for forming the coil substrate laminate (1010) is completed, the possibility of damage to the coil pattern (Cp) is extremely low.

[0564] Accordingly, the heating coil assembly (1000) of the present embodiment can effectively suppress damage to the coil pattern (Cp) due to work for forming a via (V) while suppressing an increase in the number of man-hours and manufacturing costs required for manufacturing the heating coil assembly (1000).

[0565] [Terminal structure]

[0566] Fig. 46 is an enlarged view showing a portion of the first coil substrate, Fig. 47 is a drawing showing the second terminal and the second terminal separated, and Fig. 48 is a cross-sectional view schematically showing the laminated structure of the second terminal and the second terminal shown in Fig. 47.

[0567] Referring to FIGS. 7, 17, 20, and 44 to 48, a terminal portion (1020) may be provided for connection between a power supply portion that supplies power and a heating coil (WC). For example, the terminal portion (1020) may be electrically connected to the heating coil (WC), while also being electrically connected to a driving circuit (300; see FIG. 25) and a load circuit (350; see FIG. 25).

[0568] In the horizontal direction, the terminal portion (1020) may be arranged on the outside of a group of multiple heating coils (WC). This terminal portion (1020) is arranged to be connected to at least one of the first terminal (1121) and the second terminal (1122).

[0569] The above terminal portion (1020) may include a first terminal (1021). The first terminal (1021) is connected to a first terminal (1121). The first terminal (1021) may be connected to a heating coil (WC) through the first terminal (1121).

[0570] Additionally, the terminal portion (1020) may include a second terminal (1023). The second terminal (1023) is connected to a second terminal (1122). This second terminal (1023) may be connected to a heating coil (WC) through the second terminal (1122).

[0571] The first terminal (1121) and the second terminal (1122) may be provided on the first coil substrate portion (1100) and the first outer layer portion (1300), respectively. That is, the first terminal (1121) and the second terminal (1122) may be formed on the same layer as the layer on which the first coil portion (1120) is formed.

[0572] According to the present embodiment, a plurality of heating coils (WC) can be arranged in a matrix form in each coil module (1001, 1003). That is, a plurality of heating coils (WC) can be arranged in a first direction, and a plurality of heating coils (WC) can also be arranged in a second direction.

[0573] As an example, each terminal section (1020) may include a plurality of first terminals (1021) arranged in a first direction. In addition, in each coil module (1001, 1003), a plurality of heating coils (WC) adjacent to each other in a second direction may be connected to operate simultaneously.

[0574] Accordingly, each first terminal (1021) can be connected to one heating coil (WC). And the second terminal (1023) can be connected to a plurality of heating coils (WC) adjacent in the second direction.

[0575] For example, when a plurality of heating coils (WC) are arranged in a 2-column x 4-row configuration in each coil module (1001, 1003), a pair of terminal portions (1020) may be provided in each coil module (1001, 1003). The pair of terminal portions (1020) may be spaced apart from each other in the first direction with the assembly of the plurality of heating coils (WC) interposed therebetween. That is, one of the pair of terminal portions (1020) may be arranged on the front side of the assembly of the plurality of heating coils (WC), and the other of the pair of terminal portions (1020) may be arranged on the rear side of the assembly of the plurality of heating coils (WC).

[0576] In each coil module (1001, 1003), a plurality of heating coils (WC) can be divided into 2 columns x 2 rows, and each terminal portion (1020) can be connected to adjacent heating coils (WC) in the form of 2 columns x 2 rows. For example, among a pair of terminal portions (1020), the one arranged on the front side can be connected to four heating coils (WC) arranged on the front side on the coil module (1001, 1003), and among a pair of terminal portions (1020), the one arranged on the rear side can be connected to four heating coils (WC) arranged on the rear side on the coil module (1001, 1003).

[0577] As described above, the first terminal (1121) may be connected to the outermost end of the heating coil (WC) in the horizontal direction, and the second terminal (1122) may be connected to the innermost end of the heating coil (WC). As an example, each first terminal (1121) may be positioned at a position biased toward the terminal portion (1020) to which it is connected.

[0578] That is, for the second direction, each first terminal (1121) may be arranged at a position closer to the end than the center of the heating coil (WC), but may be arranged at a position biased toward the terminal portion (1020) to which it is connected. For example, the first terminals (1121) provided on the four heating coils (WC) adjacent to the one arranged at the front side among the pair of terminal portions (1020) may be arranged at a position biased toward the front side on the heating coil (WC).

[0579] According to the present embodiment, each terminal portion (1020) may include a pair of first terminals (1021) arranged in a first direction. Each first terminal (1021) may be connected to only one heating coil (WC) by being connected to one first terminal (1121). Each of these first terminals (1021) may electrically connect one heating coil (WC) to a power supply unit, for example, a driving circuit (300) and a load circuit (350).

[0580] The second terminal (1023) can connect the heating coil (WC) to ground. This second terminal (1023) can be connected to a pair of second terminals (1122) adjacent in the second direction. That is, the second terminal (1023) can connect a pair of heating coils (WC) adjacent in the second direction to ground.

[0581] In addition, each terminal section (12020) may further include a third terminal (1025). The third terminal (1025) may connect the heating coil (SC) to the power supply section. This third terminal (1025) may be provided in the second outer layer section (1350) and may also be provided in the second coil substrate section (1200).

[0582] As an example, the terminal portion (1020) may be provided on the first coil substrate portion (1100), the second coil substrate portion (1200), and the outer layer portions (1300, 1350) that are stacked vertically, respectively. For example, the first terminals (1021) provided on the first coil substrate portion (1100), the second coil substrate portion (1200), the first outer layer portion (1300), and the second outer layer portion (1350) may be stacked vertically, and the first terminals (1021) that are stacked vertically in this way may be electrically connected through vias (V).

[0583] In addition, the second terminals (1023) provided in the first coil substrate portion (1100), the second coil substrate portion (1200), the first outer layer portion (1300), and the second outer layer portion (1350) can be stacked in the vertical direction, and the second terminals (1023) stacked in the vertical direction in this way can be electrically connected through vias (V).

[0584] As another example, the terminal portion (1020) may be provided only on the second outer layer portion (1350). That is, the terminal portion (1020) may be placed only on the upper side of the coil module (1001, 1003).

[0585] According to the present embodiment, each coil module (1001, 1003) includes a plurality of sensing coils (SC), and the plurality of sensing coils (SC) can be arranged at a predetermined interval along the first direction. In addition, the second outer layer portion (1350) and the second coil substrate portion (1200), like the first coil substrate portion (1100), can include a first terminal (1121) and a second terminal (1122), respectively. That is, the first terminal (1121) and the second terminal (1122) can be formed on the same layer as the layer on which the second coil portion (1220) is formed.

[0586] Additionally, at least one of the first terminal (1121) and the second terminal (1122) may include a via (V). In the present embodiment, the first terminal (1121) and the second terminal (1122) each include a plurality of vias (V), and the first terminal (1121) and the second terminal (1122) are exemplified as having a plurality of vias (V) arranged in a horizontal direction.

[0587] According to the present embodiment, the first terminals (1121) provided in the first coil substrate portion (1100), the second coil substrate portion (1200), and the second outer layer portion (1350) can be stacked in a vertical direction, and the first terminals (1121) stacked in a vertical direction in this way can be electrically connected through a via (V). In addition, the second terminals (1122) provided in the first coil substrate portion (1100) and the second coil substrate portion (1200) can also be stacked in a vertical direction, and the second terminals (1122) stacked in a vertical direction in this way can be electrically connected through a via (V).

[0588] As an example, each via (V) can vertically penetrate the first coil substrate portion (1100) and the second coil substrate portion (1200) that are vertically stacked. The via (V) provided in the first terminal (1121) can vertically connect a plurality of first terminals (1121) arranged on the same straight line in the vertical direction. In addition, the via (V) provided in the second terminal (1122) can vertically connect a plurality of second terminals (1122) arranged on the same straight line in the vertical direction.

[0589] Additionally, at least one of the second coil substrate portion (1200) and the second outer layer portion (1350) may include a first wiring pattern (Wpa) and a second wiring pattern (Wpb). As an example, the first wiring pattern (Wpa) and the second wiring pattern (Wpb) may be formed on the second coil substrate portion (1200) and the second outer layer portion (1350), respectively. As another example, the first wiring pattern (Wpa) and the second wiring pattern (Wpb) may be formed only on the second outer layer portion (1350).

[0590] In this embodiment, it is exemplified that the first wiring pattern (Wpa) and the second wiring pattern (Wpb) are formed on the second coil substrate portion (1200) and the second outer layer portion (1350), respectively. Accordingly, the first wiring pattern (Wpa) is provided so as to electrically connect the first terminal (1021) and the first terminal (1121) on the upper and lower outer side of the first coil substrate portion (1100). In addition, the second wiring pattern (Wpb) is provided so as to electrically connect the second terminal (1023) and the second terminal (1122) on the upper and lower outer side of the first coil substrate portion (1100).

[0591] That is, the first wiring pattern (Wpa) can be electrically connected to the first terminal (1121) provided in at least one of the second coil substrate portion (1200) and the second outer layer portion (1350), and thereby can be electrically connected to the heating coil (WC) formed in the first coil substrate portion (1100). In addition, the second wiring pattern (Wpb) can be electrically connected to the second terminal (1122) provided in at least one of the second coil substrate portion (1200) and the second outer layer portion (1350), and thereby can be electrically connected to the heating coil (WC) formed in the first coil substrate portion (1100).

[0592] According to the present embodiment, each sensing coil (SC) may be positioned so as to overlap vertically with the second non-pattern area (1105) or the space. Each of these sensing coils (SC) may be positioned so as not to overlap vertically with the first terminal (1121) and the second terminal (1122), and also not to be positioned on the same straight line in the second direction with the first terminal (1121) and the second terminal (1122).

[0593] That is, in each coil module (1001, 1003), a pair of sensing coils (SC) may be arranged spaced apart from each other along the first direction with the second terminal (1122) therebetween. As an example, the second wiring pattern (Wpb) may extend in the second direction from the second terminal (1023), but may extend in the second direction through a path passing between the pair of sensing coils (SC) from the second terminal (1023).

[0594] In addition, at least one of the second coil substrate portion (1200) and the second outer layer portion (1350) may further include a third wiring pattern (Wpc). The third wiring pattern (Wpc) may be formed on each of the second coil substrate portion (1200) and the second outer layer portion (1350), or may be formed only on the second outer layer portion (1350). This third wiring pattern (Wpc) is provided so as to electrically connect the heating coil (SC) and the third terminal (1025).

[0595] As described above, the plurality of heating coils (WC) and sensing coils (SC) provided in the coil modules (1001, 1003) are connected to a terminal portion (1020) through wiring patterns (Wpa, Wpb, Wpc) within the coil modules (1001, 1003), and can be connected to an electric part (170; see FIG. 4) through the terminal portion (1020).

[0596] That is, the wiring for connecting the heating coil (WC) and the sensing coil (SC) to the terminal portion (1020) is formed in a patterned form on the coil module (1001, 1003) itself, and the connection between the heating coil (WC) and the sensing coil (SC) and the electric portion (170) can be made only by connecting the terminal portion (1020) and the electric portion (170).

[0597] According to this, the heating coil (WC) and the sensing coil (SC) can be connected to the electric part (170) with only a simple and easy task of connecting the terminal part (1020) and the electric part (170), and the connection structure between the heating coil (WC) and the sensing coil (SC) and the electric part (170) can be formed very simply.

[0598] In addition, since there is no need for separate wiring work to connect the heating coil (WC) and the sensing coil (SC) to the electric part (170), not only can the connection work between the heating coil assembly (1000) and the electric part (170) be performed easily and quickly, but also the accommodation space inside the cooktop (100) where the heating coil assembly (1000) and the electric part (170) are accommodated does not become complicated due to a large number of wires.

[0599] [Mask and dummy via structure]

[0600] Fig. 49 is a drawing showing a state in which a mask is covered on a heating coil assembly, and Fig. 50 is a cross-sectional view schematically illustrating an example of a laminated structure of the heating coil assembly illustrated in Fig. 49. In addition, Fig. 51 is a cross-sectional view schematically illustrating a state in which a heating coil assembly is covered on a top plate, and Fig. 52 is a cross-sectional view schematically illustrating another example of a laminated structure of the heating coil assembly illustrated in Fig. 49.

[0601] Referring to FIG. 44 and FIG. 49 to FIG. 51, the heating coil assembly (1000) of the present embodiment may further include a mask (1500). The mask (1500) is provided to cover the upper and lower outermost surfaces of the coil substrate laminate (1010).

[0602] That is, the mask (1500) is provided so as to cover the upper and lower surfaces of the coil module (1001, 1003). This mask (1500) can form the surface of the coil module (1001, 1003) and can form a heat-resistant covering that protects various patterns, such as coil patterns (Cp), wiring patterns (Wpa, Lpb), and vias (V), arranged on the upper and lower surfaces of the coil module (1001, 1003).

[0603] As an example, the mask (1500) may cover a pattern or via (V) arranged on the outermost surface of the coil substrate stack (1010) and form a protrusion having a shape corresponding to the protrusion of the pattern or via (V). That is, the upper and lower surfaces of the coil modules (1001, 1003) formed by the mask (1500) may include a protrusion having a shape corresponding to the shape of the pattern or via (V) arranged on the outermost surface of the coil substrate stack (1010).

[0604] The mask (1500) as described above is provided to cover the upper and lower surfaces of the coil module (1001, 1003) so that various patterns arranged on the upper and lower surfaces of the coil module (1001, 1003) are not exposed to the outside of the coil module (1001, 1003), thereby preventing solder from being unnecessarily attached to the circuit pattern formed in the coil module (1001, 1003) and protecting the surface of the coil module (1001, 1003).

[0605] The mask (1500) may be formed by a solder resist (Soler resist) printed on the upper and lower outermost surfaces of the coil substrate laminate (1010). As an example, the mask (1500) may be formed by a result of photo solder resist ink printed on the upper and lower surfaces of the coil modules (1001, 1003) being cured by ultraviolet rays.

[0606] According to the present embodiment, a top plate (120) may be placed on the upper and lower outer side of the coil module (1001, 1003). That is, the coil module (1001, 1003) may be covered by the top plate (120) placed on the upper side of the coil module (1001, 1003). As an example, the top plate (120) may be formed of a transparent or translucent material that can transmit light, such as glass or acrylic.

[0607] A cover portion (123) that covers the mask (1500) from the upper and lower outer side may be formed on one side of the top plate (120). For example, a cover portion (123) may be formed on the lower surface of the top plate (120), and this cover portion (123) may cover the mask (1500) from the upper side. As an example, the cover portion (123) may be a printing layer or a coating layer formed on the lower surface of the top plate (120) facing the mask (1500).

[0608] According to the present embodiment, a light display area (121) is formed on the top plate (120), and the cover part (123) can be placed in an area where the light display area (121) is not placed. For example, the cover part (123) can be formed on most of the area of the top plate (120), and the light display area (121) can be formed only in a portion of the area for illuminating the light emitted from the lighting module (180) to the upper portion of the top plate (120).

[0609] To this end, the light display area (121) may be formed to have a higher transparency than the cover portion (123). For example, the cover portion (123) may be formed in an opaque state that hardly transmits light. For example, the cover portion (123) may be formed in a low-brightness color with a brightness of 0 to 3 according to the gray scale. For example, the cover portion (123) may be formed in an achromatic color, more specifically, in black.

[0610] The mask (1500) may be formed with a color similar to that of the cover portion (123). That is, the mask (1500) may be formed with a color that is not easily distinguishable from the color of the cover portion (123). For example, the mask (1500) may be formed with the same color as the cover portion (123).

[0611] As an example, the mask (1500) may be formed of a low-brightness color with a brightness of 0 to 3 on a gray scale. For example, the cover portion (123) may be formed of a low-brightness color, and the mask (1500) may also be formed of a low-brightness color identical to or similar to the low-brightness color.

[0612] In this embodiment, the mask (1500) is exemplified as being formed in an achromatic color. Accordingly, the cover portion (123) can be formed in an achromatic color, and the mask (1500) can also be formed in an achromatic color.

[0613] For example, the mask (1500) may be formed in black. Accordingly, the cover portion (123) may be formed in black, and the mask (1500) may also be formed in black. As a result, the surface of the coil module (1001, 1003) may be formed in a black color identical to or similar to the color of the cover portion (123).

[0614] In this way, since the surface of the coil module (1001, 1003) is formed in a color identical to or similar to the color of the cover part (123), the heating coil assembly (1000) is not easily visible from the outside of the cooktop (100). In addition, since the surface of the coil module (1001, 1003) is formed in a dark color such as black, the heating coil assembly (1000) placed in the dark interior space of the cooktop (100) is not easily visible.

[0615] That is, by using a mask (1500) formed in black that is the same color as or similar to the color of the cover part (123), the heating coil assembly (1000) can be installed inside the cooktop (100) so that it is not easily visible from the outside of the cooktop (100), thereby effectively suppressing the deterioration of the appearance of the cooking appliance caused by the heating coil assembly (1000).

[0616] As an example, the formation of the mask (1500) may be performed before the formation of the via (V). That is, the mask (1500) may be first formed on the upper and lower outer surfaces of the coil substrate stack (1010) and then the formation of the via (V) may be performed. In this case, at least a portion of the via (V) may be exposed to the outside of the mask (1500). As an example, an end of the via (V), for example, a land portion (Vc), may be exposed to the outside of the coil substrate stack (1010) covered with the mask (1500).

[0617] As another example, as illustrated in FIG. 52, the formation of the via (V) may be performed prior to the formation of the mask (1500). That is, the formation of the mask (1500) may be performed after the via (V) is formed first. In this case, the via (V) may be provided in a state covered by the mask (1500).

[0618] Meanwhile, referring to FIG. 21 and FIG. 52, the coil module may further include a dummy via (DV). The dummy via (DV) may be positioned in a non-patterned area (1103, 1105) and may be formed in a form including a hole that vertically penetrates the coil substrate laminate (1010).

[0619] As an example, a dummy via (DV) may be provided in a shape similar to a via (V; see FIG. 50). For example, the dummy via (DV) may be formed in a shape including a hole portion (Va; see FIG. 50), an inner wall portion (Vb; see FIG. 50), and a land portion (Vc; see FIG. 50).

[0620] In addition, dummy vias (DV) can be formed in a state in which they are electrically separated from various circuit patterns, such as coil patterns (Cp) or wiring patterns (Wpa, Wpb, Wpc) that form heating coils (WC) or sensing coils (SC). These dummy vias (DV) do not serve to supply power or transmit signals, but can serve to dissipate heat from the coil module.

[0621] Since the above-mentioned derby via (DV) is arranged in a non-patterned area (1103, 1105), it can be arranged so as not to come into contact with or overlap vertically with the coil patterns (Cp) forming the heating coil (WC) or the sensing coil (SC).

[0622] For example, a plurality of dummy vias (DV) may be arranged in the first non-patterned area (1103) and the second non-patterned area (1105), respectively, and these dummy vias (DV) may be arranged so as not to come into contact with various circuit patterns such as the coil pattern (Cp) or wiring patterns (Wpa, Wpb, Wpc) or to overlap in the vertical direction.

[0623] The dummy via (DV) provided in this manner can play a role in improving the heat dissipation performance of the coil module without interfering with the power supply or signal transmission of various circuit patterns provided in the coil module.

[0624] As an example, the formation of the dummy via (DV) may be performed after the formation of the mask (1500). For example, the formation of the via (V) may be performed before the formation of the mask (1500), and the formation of the dummy via (DV) may be performed after the formation of the mask (1500). In this case, the via (V) may be covered by the mask (1500), and the dummy via (DV) may be exposed to the outside of the mask (1500). At this time, a conductor forming an inner wall portion and a land portion of the dummy via (DV) may be exposed to the outside of the mask (1500) through the upper end of the dummy via (DV).

[0625] In the above form, the stability of the via (V) connected to the heating coil (WC) etc. can be improved, and the dummy via (DV) can provide further improved heat dissipation performance.

[0626] As another example, for process convenience, both the formation of the via (V) and the formation of the dummy via (DV) may be performed after the formation of the mask (1500). As another example, the formation of the mask (1500) may be performed after both the formation of the via (V) and the formation of the dummy via (DV) are performed.

[0627] [Method for manufacturing coil substrate laminate]

[0628] FIG. 53 is a flowchart schematically showing a process for manufacturing a coil substrate laminate according to one embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 54 is a flowchart schematically showing the progress of the connection step illustrated in FIG. 53.

[0629] As described above, the heating coil assembly (1000) can be formed as a result of stacking the first coil substrate portion (1100) and the second coil substrate portion (1200) in the vertical direction. This heating coil assembly (1000) includes a heating coil (WC) and a sensing coil (SC). The heating coil (WC) can be formed as a result of connecting a plurality of first coil portions (1120) provided on the first coil substrate portion (1100) in the vertical direction, and the sensing coil (SC) can be formed by at least one second coil portion (1220) provided on the second coil substrate portion (1200).

[0630] In order to manufacture the heating coil assembly (1000) as described above, as shown in FIGS. 50 and 53, a step of forming a coil portion (1120, 1220) on each coil substrate portion (1100, 1200) may first be performed (S10; coil forming step).

[0631] In the coil forming step (S10), a plurality of first coil portions (1120) may be formed on each first coil substrate portion (1100), and a plurality of second coil portions (1220) may be formed on each second coil substrate portion (1200). In addition, the first coil portions (1120) may be formed on the upper surface and the lower surface of the first coil substrate portion (1100), respectively, and the second coil portions (1220) may be formed on the upper surface and the lower surface of the second coil substrate portion (1200), respectively.

[0632] As an example, the coil substrate portion (1100, 1200) may be formed by a copper-clad laminate including a core (1110, 1210) and copper foils laminated on both upper and lower sides of the core (1110, 1210). In this case, each coil pattern (Cp) forming the coil portion (1120, 1220) may be formed as a result of the foil laminated on the core (1110, 1210) being patterned into a coil shape.

[0633] As an example, the formation of the coil pattern (Cp) can be achieved through a process that proceeds in the following order: dry film attachment - exposure - development - etching.

[0634] For example, when a dry film is attached to a copper-clad laminate and ultraviolet rays are irradiated on the dry film, the portion of the photoresist of the dry film that has been exposed to ultraviolet rays is cured (exposed). The portion of the photoresist that has not been cured is removed during the developing process, and when the foil of the portion where the photoresist has been removed is removed by etching, a coil pattern (Cp) can be formed on the coil substrate portion (1100, 1200).

[0635] As described above, when the coil pattern (Cp) and the coil portion (1120, 1220) including the coil portion are formed in each coil substrate portion (1100, 1200), a plurality of such coil substrate portions (1100, 1200) can be stacked in the vertical direction to form a coil substrate laminate (1010) (S20; stacking step).

[0636] In the lamination step (S20), the coil substrate portions (1100, 1200) and the adhesive (1400) can be laminated in the vertical direction. At this time, the coil substrate portions (1100, 1200) and the adhesive (1400) can be laminated so that the coil substrate portions (1100, 1200) and the adhesive (1400) are alternately arranged in the vertical direction.

[0637] As an example, the adhesive (1400) may include at least one prepreg film (F). For example, the adhesive (1400) may be formed in a form in which a plurality of prepreg films are stacked vertically. That is, a plurality of prepreg films may be stacked vertically to form the adhesive (1400), and the adhesive (1400) may be interposed between the coil substrate portions (1100, 1200) stacked vertically.

[0638] When the coil substrate parts (1100, 1200) and the adhesive (1400) are heated and pressurized while being stacked vertically as described above, the adhesive (1400) interposed between the coil substrate parts (1100, 1200) stacked vertically melts and then hardens, thereby bonding the coil substrate parts (1100, 1200). Accordingly, a plurality of coil substrate parts (1100, 1200) and the adhesive (1400) are integrated, and as a result, a single coil substrate laminate (1010) having multiple coil parts (1120, 1220) can be formed.

[0639] In the coil substrate laminate (1010) formed as described above, coil portions (1120, 1220) and insulating layers can be arranged alternately in the vertical direction. Accordingly, an insulating layer can be formed by a core (1110, 1210) arranged between a pair of coil portions (1120, 1220) in each coil substrate portion (1100, 1200), and an insulating layer can also be formed by adhesives (1400) arranged between the coil substrate portions (1100, 1200).

[0640] As an example, the thickness of each coil portion (1120, 1220) may be set to 0.10 mm to 0.11 mm, and the thickness of each prepreg film arranged between a pair of coil portions (1120, 1220) arranged vertically may be set to 0.05 mm to 0.09 mm. In addition, each adhesive (1400) arranged between a pair of coil portions (1120, 1220) arranged vertically may be formed by three prepreg films (F) laminated vertically.

[0641] For example, the thickness of each prepreg film (F) is set to 0.06 mm to 0.08 mm, and each adhesive (400) can be formed by three prepreg films (F).

[0642] As another example, the thickness of each prepreg film (F) may be set to 0.07 mm to 0.09 mm. In addition, each adhesive (1400) disposed between a pair of coil sections (1120, 1220) arranged in the vertical direction may be formed by four prepreg films (F) laminated in the vertical direction.

[0643] Each adhesive (1400) formed in the above form can effectively fill the space formed in each coil substrate portion (1100, 1200) as a result of the foil being removed by etching, and can combine the coil substrate portions (1100, 1200).

[0644] In addition, in the above-described lamination step (S20), not only a plurality of coil substrate parts (1100, 1200) but also a pair of outer layer parts (1300, 1350) may be laminated together. That is, a plurality of coil substrate parts (1100, 1200) and a pair of outer layer parts (1300, 1350) may be laminated together such that the plurality of coil substrate parts (1100, 1200) are arranged between the pair of outer layer parts (1300, 1350). Accordingly, a pair of outer layer parts (1300, 1350) may form the upper and lower portions of the coil substrate laminate (1010).

[0645] The outer layer portions (1300, 1350) can be joined to the coil substrate portions (1100, 1200) by an adhesive (1400) disposed between the outer layer portions (1300, 1350) and the coil substrate portions (1100, 1200). The adhesive (1400) forms an insulating layer between the coil portions (1120, 1220) and the outer layer portions (1300, 1350) and can join the coil substrate laminate (1010) and the outer layer portions (1300, 1350).

[0646] In the state where the coil substrate laminate (1010) is formed as described above, an outer layer (1300, 1350) can be formed on the upper and lower outer side of the coil substrate laminate (1010) (S30; outer coil forming step). In the outer coil forming step (S30), a task of forming the outer layer (1300, 1350) by processing the foil into a coil shape can be performed.

[0647] The formation of the outer layer (1300, 1350) can be achieved through a process that proceeds in the order of dry film attachment - exposure - development - etching, similar to the formation of the coil portion (1120, 1220), and a detailed description thereof is omitted.

[0648] As an example, when a coil substrate laminate (1010) is formed in a form in which a second coil portion (1220) is laminated on the upper side of a plurality of first coil portions (1120), an outer layer portion (1300, 1350) arranged on the upper side of the second coil substrate portion (1200) is formed in the same form as the second coil portion (1220) and can form a sensing coil (SC) together with the second coil portion (1220), and an outer layer portion (1300, 1350) arranged on the lower side of the first coil substrate portion (1100) is formed in the same form as the first coil portion (1120) and can form a heating coil (WC) together with the first coil portion (1120).

[0649] After the coil substrate laminate (1010) is formed as described above, a plurality of coil sections (1120, 1220) laminated in the vertical direction can be connected in the vertical direction (S40; connection step).

[0650] In the connection step (S40), as illustrated in FIGS. 50 and 54, a hole (Va) is formed to be connected to a plurality of coil parts (1120, 1220) stacked vertically first (S41; hole processing step). The hole (Va) may be formed in the form of a hole that penetrates the coil substrate stack (1010) vertically, and the formation of the hole (Va) may be accomplished by drilling the coil substrate stack (1010) vertically to process the hole.

[0651] After the hole (Va) is formed, a via (V) can be formed in the hole (Va) formed as described above, and a plurality of coil parts (1120, 1220) can be connected in the vertical direction by this via (S43; via formation step).

[0652] For example, a plurality of first coil parts (1120) may be vertically connected by the first vertical connection part (1030) formed by the via (V) to form a heating coil (WC). In addition, a plurality of second coil parts (1220) may be vertically connected by the second vertical connection part (1040) formed by the via (V) to form a sensing coil (SC).

[0653] Each via (V) can be formed in a form including an inner wall portion (Vb) and a land portion (Vc). For example, the inner wall portion (Vb) can be formed as a result of plating a conductive metal, for example, copper foil, on the inner wall of the coil substrate portion (1100, 1200) surrounding the hole portion (Va), and the land portion (Vc) can be formed as a result of plating copper foil on the upper and lower surfaces of the coil substrate portion (1100, 1200) so as to be connected to the inner wall portion (Vb).

[0654] After the heating coil (WC) and the sensing coil (SC) are formed as described above, a mask (1500) can be formed on the vertical outer side of the coil substrate laminate (1010) (S50; mask formation step).

[0655] In the mask forming step (S50), a mask (1500) is provided to cover the upper and lower surfaces of the coil modules (1001, 1003). This mask (1500) can form a heat-resistant covering that protects various circuit patterns arranged on the upper and lower surfaces of the coil modules (1001, 1003).

[0656] As another example, as illustrated in FIG. 52, the formation of the mask (1500) may be performed after the via (V) is formed first. In this case, the via (V) may be provided in a state in which it is covered by the mask (1500).

[0657] As another example, the formation of the via (V) may be performed before the formation of the mask (1500), and the formation of the dummy via (DV; see FIG. 21) may be performed after the formation of the mask (1500). In this case, the via (V) may be covered by the mask (1500), and the dummy via (DV) may be exposed to the outside of the mask (1500). At this time, a conductor forming the inner wall portion and the land portion of the dummy via (DV) may be exposed to the outside of the mask (1500) through the upper portion of the dummy via (DV).

[0658] As another example, both the formation of the via (V) and the formation of the dummy via (DV) may be performed after the formation of the mask (1500), or the formation of the mask (1500) may be performed after both the formation of the via (V) and the formation of the dummy via (DV) are performed.

[0659] [Example of a heating coil assembly]

[0660] FIG. 55 is a drawing illustrating an example of a heating coil assembly according to one embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 56 is a drawing illustrating the first coil module illustrated in FIG. 55 in an separated state, and FIG. 57 is a drawing illustrating the second coil module illustrated in FIG. 55 in an separated state. In addition, FIG. 58 is a drawing illustrating the heating coil illustrated in FIG. 55 in an separated state, and FIG. 59 is a cross-sectional view schematically showing an example of the turn-by-turn arrangement structure of the first coil portion. In addition, FIG. 60 is a cross-sectional view schematically showing another example of the turn-by-turn arrangement structure of the first coil portion, and FIG. 61 is a cross-sectional view illustrating an enlarged layered structure of the heating coil assembly.

[0661] Hereinafter, examples of heating coil assemblies are illustrated with reference to FIGS. 55 to 60.

[0662] Referring to FIGS. 55 to 57, the heating coil assembly (1000) of the present embodiment may include a plurality of coil modules (1001, 1003). In the present embodiment, a pair of first coil modules (1001) and one second coil module (1003) are exemplified as being arranged in a first direction.

[0663] The first coil module (1001) and the second coil module (1003) may each include a plurality of heating coils (WC). For example, each first coil module (1001) may include eight heating coils (WC) arranged in a 2-column x 4-row configuration, and the second coil module (1003) may include six heating coils (WC) arranged in a 2-column x 3-row configuration. That is, the heating coil assembly (1000) may include a total of 22 heating coils (WC).

[0664] As an example, the heating coil assembly (1000) may be formed into a polygonal shape with a first direction length (a1) of 920 mm to 940 mm and a second direction length (b1) of 525 mm to 545 mm. The first coil module (1001) forming the heating coil assembly (1000) may be formed into a rectangle with a first direction length (a2) of 245 mm to 255 mm and a second direction length (b2) of 400 mm to 410 mm. And the second coil module (1003) may be formed into a rectangle with a first direction length (a3) of 245 mm to 255 mm and a second direction length (b3) of 300 mm to 310 mm.

[0665] Referring to Fig. 58, each heating coil (WC) provided in the coil module (1001, 1003) may be formed in an approximately square spiral shape. The outer shape of each heating coil (WC) may be approximately rectangular.

[0666] As an example, the outer shape of the heating coil (WC) may be a rectangle with rounded corners. In a heating coil (WC) of this shape, the direction change section of the coil pattern (Cp) can be formed in a curved shape. In other words, the left-right straight section and the front-back straight section of the coil pattern (Cp) can be smoothly connected by a curve.

[0667] In addition, when the corners of the heating coil (WC) are formed in a rounded shape, the change in cross-sectional area becomes more gradual compared to when the corners of the heating coil (WC) are angular, and thus the resistance of the heating coil (WC) can be reduced. In other words, the heating coil (WC) formed in a rounded shape can lower the heat generation amount compared to the heating coil formed in an angular shape.

[0668] As another example, the outer shape of the heating coil (WC) may be a rectangle with sharp corners. A heating coil (WC) formed in this manner can increase the length of the spiral formed by the heating coil (WC), thereby increasing the cross-sectional area of the pattern per turn of the heating coil (WC).

[0669] In this embodiment, the outer shape of the heating coil (WC) is exemplified as a rectangle with different lengths in the first direction and the second direction. As another example, the outer shape of the heating coil (WC) may be a square. A heating coil (WC) formed in this shape has the advantage of making the production design of the heating coil (WC) easier.

[0670] The outer shape of each heating coil (WC) may be a rectangle having a length (b4) of 60 mm to 120 mm and a width (a4) of 80 mm to 130 mm. That is, the outer shape of each heating coil (WC) may be a rectangle having a first direction length (a4) of 80 mm to 130 mm and a second direction length (b4) of 60 mm to 120 mm.

[0671] As an example, the outer shape of each heating coil (WC) may be a rectangle having a first direction length of 95 mm to 125 mm and a second direction length of 90 mm to 110 mm. Such a heating coil (WC) may be formed as a result of the coil pattern (Cp) being wound 9 or more times around the first non-pattern area (1103). As an example, the above-described heating coil (WC) may be formed as a result of the coil pattern (Cp) being wound 9 to 11 times around the first non-pattern area (1103).

[0672] At this time, the width (w) of each coil pattern (Cp) may be 0.2 mm to 0.4 mm, as shown in FIG. 50, FIG. 58, and FIG. 59. And the spacing (d) between multiple coil patterns (Cp) may be 0.2 mm to 0.4 mm.

[0673] In these coil modules (1001, 1003), a plurality of first coil portions (1120) may be stacked vertically along the vertical direction. In the present embodiment, the first coil portions (1120) are exemplified as being arranged in 10 or more layers along the vertical direction. As an example, the first coil portions (112) may be arranged in 10 to 12 layers along the vertical direction.

[0674] However, the present invention is not limited thereto, and the number of laminated layers of the first coil portion (1120) may be set to exceed 12 layers depending on design conditions such as product thickness, required power, heat generation, etc.

[0675] According to the present embodiment, 10 to 12 first coil sections (1120) arranged in the same vertical straight line can be vertically connected to form a single heating coil (WC). To this end, a plurality of coil patterns (Cp) arranged in the same vertical straight line can be vertically connected.

[0676] More specifically, the outer shape of each heating coil (WC) may be a rectangle having a first direction length of 100 mm to 125 mm and a second direction length of 85 mm to 95 mm. Such a heating coil (WC) may be formed as a result of the coil pattern (Cp) being wound 9 or more times around the first non-pattern area (1103).

[0677] As an example, the coil pattern (Cp) may be wound 9 to 11 times around the first non-pattern area (1103), and the outer shape of the heating coil (WC) may be a rectangle having a first direction length of 100 mm to 110 mm and a second direction length of 88 mm to 100 mm. As another example, the outer shape of the heating coil (WC) may be a rectangle having a first direction length of 115 mm to 125 mm and a second direction length of 88 mm to 100 mm.

[0678] At this time, the width (w) of each coil pattern (Cp) may be 0.25 mm to 0.35 mm. And the spacing (d) between the plurality of coil patterns (Cp) may be 0.25 mm to 0.35 mm. In such coil modules (1001, 1003), a plurality of first coil substrate parts (1100) may be stacked in the vertical direction so that the first coil parts (1120) are arranged in 10 layers along the vertical direction.

[0679] At this time, ten first coil sections (1120) arranged on the same straight line in the vertical direction can be connected vertically to form one heating coil (WC). To this end, a plurality of coil patterns (Cp) arranged on the same straight line in the vertical direction can be connected vertically.

[0680] As described above, each heating coil (WC) can be formed as a result of the coil pattern (Cp) being wound 9 to 11 turns, more specifically 11 turns, around the first non-pattern area (1103). In addition, 3 to 6 coil patterns (Cp) can be arranged per layer in each heating coil (WC). Here, “turn” means the number of times the coil pattern (Cp) is wound, and can also be expressed as “wheel” or “time.” For example, as another expression of “11 turns,” “11 laps” or “11 times” can be used.

[0681] When each heating coil (WC) is cut vertically, and the vertical cross-section of the heating coil (WC) is viewed, a plurality of coil patterns (Cp) included in the heating coil (WC) can be divided into a plurality of units along the radial direction (hereinafter referred to as “radial direction”) of the spiral formed by the heating coil (WC).

[0682] At this time, each unit can be divided based on the division area (1120a). For example, if each first coil portion (1120) includes four coil patterns (Cp), each division area (1120a) can include four coil patterns (Cp) arranged along the diameter direction, and each unit can include four rows of coil patterns (Cp). In addition, if each heating coil (WC) includes 10 layers of coil patterns (Cp), each unit can include 4 columns*10 rows of coil patterns (Cp).

[0683] The sum of the vertical cross-sectional areas of the coil pattern (Cp) for each unit, i.e. the cross-sectional area of the pattern per turn of the heating coil (WC), can satisfy the following relationship.

[0684] 1≤S=I / D,

[0685] 15≤D≤20,

[0686] 15≤I≤20,

[0687] D=P*m*n

[0688] (Where, S is the cross-sectional area of the pattern per turn of the heating coil (㎟), I is the current flowing in the heating coil at maximum output, D is the density of the current flowing in the heating coil at maximum output (A / ㎟), P is the cross-sectional area of each coil pattern (㎟), m is the number of stacked coil sections in each heating coil, and n is the number of coil patterns in each coil section.)

[0689] According to the present embodiment, the cross-sectional area (S) of the pattern per turn of the heating coil (WC) is set to a range such that the density (D; hereinafter referred to as “current density”) of the current flowing in the heating coil (WC) at the maximum output of the cooktop (100) can be in the range of 15 A / mm2 to 20 A / mm2.

[0690] As an example, when the maximum output of a cooktop (100) including 22 heating coils (WC) is 3.6 kW and the current (I) flowing through each heating coil (WC) is 15 A to 20 A, the cross-sectional area (S) of the pattern per turn of the heating coil (WC) can be set within a range such that the current density (D) can be in the range of 15 A / mm2 to 20 A / mm2.

[0691] When the cross-sectional area (S) of the pattern per turn of the heating coil (WC) satisfies these conditions, the frequency of the current flowing through each heating coil (WC) can be maintained at a low level. If the frequency of the current flowing through the heating coil (WC) can be maintained at a low level, the temperature rise of the heating coil (WC) can be effectively suppressed.

[0692] For example, if the cross-sectional area (S) of the pattern per turn of the heating coil (WC) is set within a range such that the current density (D) can be in the range of 15 A / mm2 to 20 A / mm2 as described above, the frequency of the current flowing in the heating coil (WC) can be maintained at 90 kHz or less, and accordingly, even when the heating coil (WC) is operated continuously for 10 minutes or more, the temperature of the heating coil (WC) can be maintained at 150°C or less.

[0693] If the cooking appliance boils 6 liters of water within 11 minutes in the water boiling test, the cooking appliance can be considered to have relatively excellent conditions in the water boiling test. In other words, in order for the cooking appliance of this example to provide performance sufficient to receive an excellent rating in the water boiling test, the heating coil (WC) must be able to operate continuously at maximum output for approximately 9-11 minutes.

[0694] In addition, in this embodiment, it is exemplified that the printed circuit board forming the heating coil assembly (1000) or the entire heating coil assembly (1000) is provided so as to be recognized as heat-resistant at 150°C according to the North American Relative Thermal Index (RTI) standard.

[0695] Therefore, if the temperature of the heating coil (WC) can be maintained below 150°C even when the heating coil (WC) is operated continuously for more than 10 minutes, both the stability standards of the printed circuit board and the performance conditions of the water heating test can be satisfied.

[0696] That is, the cooking appliance of the present embodiment can provide excellent heating performance while effectively satisfying the standards related to the heating coil assembly (1000) by ensuring that the temperature of the heating coil (WC) is maintained at 150°C or lower even when the heating coil (WC) is continuously operated for 10 minutes or more.

[0697] According to the present embodiment, a single coil wire (1123, 1124) is formed by a set of a plurality of coil patterns (Cp) arranged along the diametric direction, and this single coil wire (1123, 1124) can be wound multiple times to form a single first coil portion (1120), and this first coil portion (1120) can be connected in the vertical direction to form a heating coil (WC).

[0698] In addition, each of the coil wires (1123, 1124) forming the first coil portion (1120) forms a horizontal twist structure within the first coil portion (1120), and a plurality of coil wires (1123, 1124) stacked vertically form a vertical twist structure, so that a plurality of coil patterns (Cp) forming the heating coil (WC) can form a twist structure in the shape of a twisted coil.

[0699] That is, the heating coil (WC) can be formed as a result of a plurality of coil patterns (Cp) forming a horizontal twist structure and a vertical twist structure and being vertically connected. Accordingly, the total area of the metal foil for each heating coil (WC) is not a value that is the sum of only the areas of the metal foils forming one layer of coil parts (1120, 1220), but a value that is the sum of the areas of the metal foils of multiple layers of coil parts (1120, 1220) that are vertically connected.

[0700] The current density (D) and the pattern cross-sectional area per turn (S) of the heating coil (WC) are inversely proportional to each other. Therefore, in order to reduce the current density (D), the pattern cross-sectional area per turn (S) of the heating coil (WC) must increase.

[0701] Considering these points, in this embodiment, a heating coil (WC) is formed as a result of a plurality of coil wires (1123, 1124) stacked vertically and connected vertically, and a horizontal twist structure and a vertical twist structure are formed in the heating coil (WC), thereby increasing the cross-sectional area (S) of the pattern per turn of the heating coil (WC).

[0702] The heating coil (WC) formed in this manner can provide an effect of increasing the cross-sectional area (S) of the pattern per turn of the heating coil (WC) while minimizing the increase in the transverse size of the heating coil (WC). By means of such a heating coil (WC), the purpose of reducing the size of the heating coil (WC) while lowering the density (D) of the current flowing through the heating coil (WC) can be effectively achieved.

[0703] By allowing the size of the heating coil (WC) to be reduced, the cooktop (100) of the present embodiment can include a greater number of heating coils (WC) compared to other cooktops of the same specification. That is, in the cooktop (100) of the present embodiment, smaller heating coils (WC) can be arranged more densely compared to conventional cooktops.

[0704] Additionally, since the current density (D) flowing through the heating coil (WC) can be reduced, the temperature rise of the heating coil (WC) can be more effectively suppressed. This allows maximum output to be maintained for a longer period of time compared to other cooktops of the same specifications.

[0705] That is, the cooking appliance of the present embodiment can not only provide improved heating efficiency by using small and densely arranged heating coils (WC), but also provide higher output for a longer period of time.

[0706] As an example in which the cross-sectional area (S) of the pattern per turn of the heating coil (WC) is set within a range such that the current density can be in the range of 15 A / ㎟ to 20 A / ㎟, the thickness (t) of the coil pattern (Cp) is 0.08 mm to 0.12 mm, the width (w) of the coil pattern (Cp) is 0.25 mm to 0.35 mm, and the interval (d) between a plurality of the coil patterns (Cp) can be set to 0.25 mm to 0.40 mm.

[0707] As another example in which the cross-sectional area (S) of the pattern per turn of the heating coil (WC) is set within a range such that the current density can be in the range of 15 A / mm2 to 20 A / mm2, the thickness (t) of the coil pattern (Cp) is 0.085 mm to 0.110 mm, the width (w) of the coil pattern (Cp) is 0.28 mm to 0.32 mm, and the spacing (d) between a plurality of the coil patterns (Cp) can be set to 0.30 mm to 0.35 mm.

[0708] In this embodiment, it is exemplified that each coil pattern (Cp) is formed in a roughly rectangular shape. In other words, the values related to the coil pattern (Cp) are values set under the assumption that the coil pattern (Cp) is formed in a rectangular shape.

[0709] More specifically, the thickness (t) of the coil pattern (Cp) is 0.10 mm to 0.11 mm, the width (w) of the coil pattern (Cp) is 0.28 mm to 0.32 mm, and the spacing (d) between the plurality of coil patterns (Cp) can be set to 0.30 mm to 0.35 mm. In addition, the interlayer spacing of the coil pattern (Cp) can be set to 0.10 mm to 0.21 mm.

[0710] At this time, the heating coil assembly (1000) may include a total of 22 heating coils (WC), and the outer shape of each heating coil (WC) may be a rectangle having a first direction length of 100 mm to 125 mm and a second direction length of 85 mm to 95 mm. In addition, each heating coil (WC) may include a coil pattern (Cp) of 10 or more layers, and each coil pattern (Cp) may be formed as a result of being wound 9 or more times around the first non-pattern area (1103). As an example, each heating coil (WC) may include a coil pattern (Cp) of 10 layers, and each coil pattern (Cp) may be wound 9 to 11 times around the first non-pattern area (1103).

[0711] In addition, each of the above heating coils (WC) may include three or four coil patterns (Cp) per layer. For example, when each heating coil (WC) includes ten layers of coil patterns (Cp), four coil patterns (Cp) may be arranged in one of the upper five layers and the lower five layers of the heating coil (WC), and three coil patterns (Cp) may be arranged in the other.

[0712] For example, four coil patterns (Cp) may be arranged in the upper five layers of the heating coil (WC), and three coil patterns (Cp) may be arranged in the lower five layers of the heating coil (WC). In this case, each heating coil (WC) may include a total of 35 coil patterns (Cp).

[0713] In a heating coil (WC) of the above type, the coil patterns (Cp) of the upper five layers and the coil patterns (Cp) of the lower five layers can be arranged so as not to overlap each other in the vertical direction. In other words, the coil patterns (Cp) of the upper layer and the coil patterns (Cp) of the lower layer can be arranged in an alternating manner.

[0714] In this case, the electromagnetic generation location in the coil pattern (Cp) of the upper layer and the electromagnetic generation location in the coil pattern (Cp) of the lower layer can be arranged to be staggered along the horizontal direction, thereby suppressing electromagnetic interference in the heating coil (WC).

[0715] As another example, three coil patterns (Cp) may be arranged in the upper five layers of the heating coil (WC), and four coil patterns (Cp) may be arranged in the lower five layers of the heating coil (WC). In this case, each heating coil (WC) may include a total of 35 coil patterns (Cp).

[0716] As another example, as illustrated in FIG. 60, four coil patterns (Cp) may be arranged in each layer of the heating coil (WC). In this case, each heating coil (WC) may include a total of 40 coil patterns (Cp).

[0717] That is, when four coil patterns (Cp) are arranged in each layer of the heating coil (WC), the number of coil patterns (Cp) included in the heating coil (WC) can increase compared to when the number of coil patterns (Cp) is different for each layer. When the number of coil patterns (Cp) increases in this way, the cross-sectional area of the pattern per turn of the heating coil (WC) increases, and accordingly, the frequency of the current flowing in the heating coil (WC) is maintained at a low level, and the temperature rise of the heating coil (WC) can be effectively suppressed.

[0718] The coil module (1001, 1003) as described above can be formed in a form in which four to six coil substrate portions (1100, 1200) and a pair of outer layer portions (1300, 1350) are stacked vertically. The vertical length, i.e., thickness, of the coil module (1001, 1003) can be set in a range of 3.2 mm to 3.8 mm.

[0719] As an example, the coil module (1001, 1003) may be formed in a form in which one first outer layer portion (1300), three first coil substrate portions (1100), one second coil substrate portion (1200), and one second outer layer portion (1350) are stacked vertically. That is, the coil module (1001, 1003) may be formed in a form including ten layers of coil portions (1120, 1220). The thickness of the coil module (1001, 1003) may be set to 3.2 mm to 3.4 mm.

[0720] As described above, each coil substrate portion (1100, 1200) may include a core (1110, 1210) and a coil portion (1120, 1220), and a plurality of coil substrate portions (1100, 1200) may be joined by an adhesive (1400).

[0721] At this time, the thickness of the adhesive (1400) may be set to be thicker than the thickness of the core (1110, 1210). In addition, the thickness of the adhesive (1400) may be set to be thicker than the thickness of the coil portion (1120, 1220). As an example, the thickness of the adhesive (1400) may be set to be more than twice the thickness of the coil portion (1120, 1220).

[0722] Meanwhile, in FIGS. 59 and 60, the vertical cross-sectional shape of the coil pattern (Cp) is illustrated as a square for convenience, but the vertical cross-sectional shape of the actual coil pattern (Cp) may be a polygon with different lengths of the lower and upper sides, for example, a trapezoidal shape. In addition, it should be noted that in the vertical cross-section of the actual coil pattern (Cp), the side edges may be formed in the form of inclined straight lines or curves rather than vertical lines.

[0723] As an example, as shown in FIG. 56 and FIG. 61, the thickness of each core (1110, 1210) may be 0.09 mm to 0.11 mm, the thickness of each coil portion (1120, 1220) may be 0.10 mm to 0.11 mm, and the thickness of each adhesive (1400) may be 0.28 mm to 0.36 mm.

[0724] At this time, the thickness of the adhesive (1400) is the thickness of the adhesive (1400) before being interposed between the coil substrate parts (1100, 1200), and after the adhesive (1400) is interposed between the coil substrate parts (1100, 1200) and the coil substrate parts (1100, 1200) are joined, the thickness of the adhesive (1400) may be reduced compared to before.

[0725] As an example, the thickness of each core (1110, 1210) may be 0.10 mm to 0.11 mm, and the thickness of the adhesive (1400) interposed between the coil substrate portions (1100, 1200) may be 0.18 mm to 0.21 mm. In this case, the interlayer spacing of the core (coil pattern (Cp)) may be 0.10 mm to 0.21 mm.

[0726] As described above, the thickness of the coil module (1001, 1003) including the 10-layer coil portion (1120, 1220) can be set to a thickness of 3.2 mm to 3.4 mm. As another example, the thickness of the coil module (1001, 1003) including the 12-layer coil portion (1120, 1220) formed by stacking one first outer layer portion (1300), four first coil substrate portions (1100), one second coil substrate portion (1200), and one second outer layer portion (1350) in a vertical direction can be set to a range of 3.6 mm to 3.8 mm.

[0727] In the coil modules (1001, 1003) formed as described above, the diameter (dm) of each via (V) connecting the coil portions (1120, 1220) in the vertical direction can be set to 0.40 mm or more. In such a via (V), the horizontal thickness (wt) of the inner wall portion (Vb) can be set to be less than the thickness (t) of the coil pattern (Cp). That is, the inner wall portion (Vb) of each via (V) can be formed to a thickness thinner than the thickness (t) of the coil pattern (Cp).

[0728] As an example, each first vertical connection portion (1030) may include a plurality of vias (V) arranged along the circumferential direction of the spiral formed by the heating coil (WC). In addition, the sum of the horizontal thicknesses (wt) of the inner wall portions (Vb) of the vias (V) included in one first vertical connection portion (1030) is set to be greater than 1 / 2 the thickness (t) of one coil pattern (Cp). For example, when two vias (V) are provided in each first vertical connection portion (1030), the horizontal thickness of the inner wall portions (Vb) of each via (V) may be set to be greater than 1 / 4 the thickness (t) of one coil pattern (Cp).

[0729] Accordingly, a passage of sufficient width for current flow can be formed in each of the first vertical connecting portions (1030). By forming a passage of sufficient width for current flow in the first vertical connecting portions (1030) in this way, the flow of current in the heating coil (WC) is stably maintained, and the loss of current flowing in the heating coil (WC) can be effectively reduced.

[0730] According to the present embodiment, as illustrated in FIG. 29 and FIG. 61, the via (V) is arranged in the separation area (1120b). In each via (V) arranged in this manner, the diameter of the land portion (Vc) can be set to a range of 0.75 mm to 0.85 mm. This is a result of a design that takes into consideration that the length of the separation area (1120b) in the diametric direction is set to a range of 1.05 mm to 1.15 mm. For example, the diameter of the land portion (Vc) can be set to a length that is shorter than the length of the separation area (1120b) in the diametric direction but can be stably connected to the coil pattern (Cp).

[0731] In each vertical connection portion (1030), a plurality of vias (V) may be arranged along the circumferential direction. That is, in each vertical connection portion (1030), a plurality of vias (V) may be arranged in a row along the circumferential direction rather than being arranged along the diametric direction.

[0732] [Coil pattern structure]

[0733] Fig. 62 is a cross-sectional view illustrating a longitudinal cross-sectional shape of a pattern coil, Fig. 63 is an enlarged view illustrating the pattern coil illustrated in Fig. 62, and Fig. 64 is a table comparing a pattern coil according to one embodiment of the present invention with a comparative example. In addition, Fig. 65 is a cross-sectional view illustrating an enlarged longitudinal cross-sectional shape of a pattern coil formed by etching, and Fig. 66 is a cross-sectional view illustrating another example of a pattern coil formed by etching.

[0734] As illustrated in FIG. 50 and FIG. 62 to FIG. 64, the heating coil (WC) is formed by a plurality of first coil portions (1120) stacked in the vertical direction, and the first coil portions (1120) may include a plurality of coil patterns (Cp) arranged along the diameter direction of the heating coil (WC).

[0735] As an example, each coil pattern (Cp) can be formed in a coil-shaped pattern on the core (1110) of the first coil substrate portion (1100).

[0736] As described above, the coil pattern (Cp) can be formed through a process that proceeds in the order of dry film attachment - exposure - development - etching. In other words, the coil pattern (Cp) can be formed as a result of the portion of the foil laminated on the core (1110) that has not been hardened by exposure being corroded and removed from the coil substrate portion (1100, 1200).

[0737] The longitudinal cross-section of each coil pattern (Cp) may be formed into a polygonal shape including a bottom edge (Ca) closest to the core (1110) and an upper edge (Cb) spaced apart from the core (1110) by the thickness of the coil pattern (Cp). In the coil pattern (Cp), the length of the upper edge (Cb) may be set to be less than the length of the bottom edge (Ca).

[0738] Typically, during the process of forming a coil pattern (Cp) as described above, a greater amount of foil is removed from the area adjacent to the upper edge (Cb) than from the area adjacent to the lower edge (Ca). That is, as a result of the etching process for forming the coil pattern (Cp), a large amount of foil is lost in the area adjacent to the upper edge (Cb).

[0739] For example, in the process of removing a portion of the foil to form a coil pattern (Cp), a greater amount of foil is removed around the upper side (Cb) than around the lower side (Ca), and accordingly, the length of the upper side (Cb) becomes shorter than the design value, and the length of the upper side (Cb) becomes shorter than the length of the lower side (Ca).

[0740] For example, the longitudinal cross-section of the coil pattern (Cp) may be formed into a polygonal shape in which the length of the upper side (Cb) is 70% to 80% of the length of the lower side (Ca). In the present embodiment, the longitudinal cross-section of the coil pattern (Cp) is exemplified as being formed into a polygonal shape close to a trapezoidal shape in which the lower side (Ca) and the upper side (Cb) are parallel.

[0741] As an example, the vertical cross-section of each coil pattern (Cp) may be formed into a polygonal shape including a pair of side edges (Cca, Ccb) that vertically connect the bottom edge (Ca) and the top edge (Cb). Each side edge (Cca, Ccb) may include a first side edge (Cca) that is connected to the top edge (Cb), and a second side edge (Ccb) that connects the first side edge (Cca) and the bottom edge (Ca). That is, the second side edge (Ccb) is arranged above the bottom edge (Ca), and the first side edge (Cca) is arranged above the second side edge (Ccb).

[0742] As an example, the first side (Cca) may be formed as a vertical straight line. For example, the first side (Cca) may be formed as a vertical line. And the second side (Ccb) may be formed as an inclined plane connecting the lower end of the first side (Cca) and the base (Ca).

[0743] The second side edge (Ccb) may be formed as an inclined surface that inclines toward the horizontal outer side of the coil pattern (Cp) as it approaches the base edge (Ca) in the vertical direction, that is, as it goes downward. As an example, the second side edge (Ccb) may be formed as a curved shape connecting the lower end of the first side edge (Cca) and the base edge (Ca). In this case, the second side edge (Ccb) may be formed as a curved shape that is concave toward the horizontal inner side and lower side of the coil pattern (Cp).

[0744] As an example, the vertical cross-section of the coil pattern (Cp) can satisfy the following relationship.

[0745] 1.47≤W1 / t≤1.57

[0746] (Where W1 is the length of the base of the coil pattern, and t is the thickness of the coil pattern)

[0747] According to the present embodiment, the length (W1) of the bottom side (Ca) of the coil pattern (Cp) is set to a range of 1.47 to 1.57 times the thickness of the coil pattern (Cp). Since the length (W1) of the bottom side (Ca) of the coil pattern (Cp) satisfies this condition, even if the length of the upper side (Cb) becomes shorter by 20% or more than the bottom side (Ca) during the formation of the coil pattern (Cp), the coil pattern (Cp) can be formed so that the cross-sectional area of each coil pattern (Cp) becomes 90% or more of the design value.

[0748] As an example, the width (W) of the coil pattern (Cp) can be set to a range of 0.3 mm to 0.6 mm. More specifically, the width (W) of the coil pattern (Cp) can be set to a range of 0.5 mm to 0.6 mm.

[0749] Referring to FIGS. 62 to 55, under the condition that each unit of the heating coil (WC) having a first direction length of 104 mm and a second direction length of 96 mm includes 10 layers of first coil portions (1120) and the thickness of each coil pattern (Cp) is 0.105 mm, if the width of each coil pattern (Cp) and the spacing between the coil patterns (Cp) are each 0.30 mm, the pattern cross-sectional area (S) per turn of the heating coil (WC) can be approximately 0.945 mm2 (comparative example). That is, according to the design value in the comparative example, the pattern cross-sectional area (S) per turn of the heating coil (WC) can be approximately 0.945 mm2.

[0750] At this time, each unit of the heating coil (WC) can include a coil pattern (Cp) of 3 columns x 10 rows. That is, the number of patterns per turn of the heating coil (WC) is approximately 30.

[0751] In the comparative example designed in the above shape, the actual heating coil (WC) can be formed into a trapezoid, and the pattern cross-sectional area (S) per turn of the heating coil (WC) formed into a trapezoid can be approximately 0.827㎟. In other words, the pattern cross-sectional area (S) per turn of the actual heating coil (WC) formed into a trapezoid is only about 87.5% of the design value.

[0752] In comparison, under the same conditions as the heating coil (WC) in the comparative example, that is, under the conditions that each unit of the heating coil (WC) having a first direction length of 104 mm and a second direction length of 96 mm includes a first coil portion (1120) of 10 layers and the thickness of each coil pattern (Cp) is 0.105 mm, if the width of each coil pattern (Cp) and the spacing between the coil patterns (Cp) are each 0.53 mm, each unit of the heating coil (WC) can include coil patterns (Cp) of 2 columns * 10 rows. That is, the number of patterns per turn of the heating coil (WC) is approximately 20.

[0753] In this embodiment, the pattern cross-sectional area (S) per turn of the heating coil (WC) can be approximately 1.113㎟. That is, according to the design value in the embodiment, the pattern cross-sectional area (S) per turn of the heating coil (WC) can be approximately 1.113㎟.

[0754] In an embodiment designed in the above form, the actual heating coil (WC) may be formed in a trapezoidal shape, and the pattern cross-sectional area (S) per turn of the heating coil (WC) formed in a trapezoidal shape may be approximately 1.030㎟. In other words, the pattern cross-sectional area (S) per turn of the actual heating coil (WC) formed in a trapezoidal shape is approximately 92.5% of the design value.

[0755] That is, according to the present embodiment, even though the number of patterns per turn of the heating coil (WC) is reduced compared to the comparative example, the cross-sectional area (S) of the patterns per turn of the heating coil (WC) is increased compared to the comparative example.

[0756] Moreover, the pattern cross-sectional area (S) per turn of the heating coil (WC) according to the design value of the present embodiment, that is, the rectangular heating coil (WC) of the present embodiment, is larger than the pattern cross-sectional area (S) per turn of the heating coil (WC) according to the design value of the comparative example, that is, the rectangular heating coil (WC) of the comparative example, and the pattern cross-sectional area (S) per turn of the actual heating coil (WC) of the present embodiment, that is, the pattern cross-sectional area (S) per turn of the trapezoidal heating coil (WC) of the present embodiment, can be larger than the pattern cross-sectional area (S) per turn of the rectangular heating coil (WC) of the comparative example.

[0757] That is, the heating coil (WC) of the present embodiment is formed to satisfy the condition that the length (W1) of the bottom side (Ca) of the coil pattern (Cp) is set to a range of 1.47 to 1.57 times the thickness of the coil pattern (Cp), so that even if the length of the top side (Cb) becomes shorter by 20% or more compared to the bottom side (Ca) during the coil pattern (Cp) formation process, the heating coil (WC) can be formed to have a sufficient pattern cross-sectional area (S) per turn necessary to effectively suppress the temperature rise of the heating coil (WC).

[0758] The coil pattern (Cp) formed as described above can be connected to a via (V) as illustrated in FIG. 29 and FIGS. 61 to 63. As an example, the diameter (dm) of the via (V) connected to the coil pattern (Cp) can be set longer than the length of the bottom side (Ca) of the coil pattern (Cp). By setting the diameter (dm) of the via (V) longer than the length of the bottom side (Ca) of the coil pattern (Cp), the connection between the via (V) and the coil pattern (Cp) can be made with high reliability.

[0759] For example, even if a positional deviation of the coil pattern (Cp) occurs for each layer during the manufacturing process of the heating coil assembly, if the diameter (dm) of the via (V) is longer than the width of the coil pattern (Cp), the possibility of proper connection between the via (V) and the coil pattern (Cp) increases.

[0760] Furthermore, considering that the length of the bottom side (Ca) in the coil pattern (Cp) is likely to be longer than the length of the top side (Cb), if the diameter (dm) of the via (V) is set longer than the length of the bottom side (Ca), the connection between the via (V) and the coil pattern (Cp) can be made reliably even if a positional deviation of the coil pattern (Cp) occurs for each layer during the manufacturing process of the heating coil assembly.

[0761] As another example, the diameter of a dummy via (DV; see FIG. 21) that is not connected to the coil pattern (Cp) may also be set longer than the length of the base (Ca) of the coil pattern (Cp), similar to the case of the via (V).

[0762] As another example, the inner diameter of the via (V) may be set shorter than the length of the bottom side (Ca). More preferably, the inner diameter of the via (V) may be set shorter than the length of the top side (Cb). In this case, the horizontal length of the area occupied by the hole portion (Va) inside the via (V) may be reduced, while the horizontal length of the area occupied by the inner wall portion (Vb) may be increased.

[0763] As described above, when the inner diameter of the via (V) is set shorter than the length of the bottom side (Ca) or the top side (Cb), the connection between the via (V) and the coil pattern (Cp) is made more reliable, and the contact area between the via (V) and the coil pattern (Cp) is expanded, thereby reducing the resistance at the connection portion between the via (V) and the coil pattern (Cp).

[0764] Meanwhile, the coil pattern (Cp) may include a first coil pattern (CP1) and a second coil pattern (CP2). The first coil pattern (CP1) may be formed in a polygonal shape in which the bottom edge (Ca) is positioned on the lower side and the top edge (Cb) is positioned on the upper side. And the second coil pattern (CP2) may be formed in a polygonal shape in which the bottom edge (Ca) is positioned on the upper side and the top edge (Cb) is positioned on the lower side.

[0765] As an example, the first coil pattern (CP1) and the second coil pattern (CP2) may be arranged to be symmetrical with respect to a horizontal straight line. For example, the first coil pattern (CP1) and the second coil pattern (CP2) may each be formed in a trapezoidal shape, but may be formed in a shape that is symmetrical with respect to the core (1110).

[0766] At this time, the first coil pattern (CP1) and the second coil pattern (CP2) may be provided in a form that does not have complete line symmetry, but includes some line-symmetrical areas. That is, due to the via (V) location or pattern shape characteristics, some areas of the first coil pattern (CP1) or the second coil pattern (CP2) may not be symmetrical, and the first coil pattern (CP1) and the second coil pattern (CP2) may be provided in a form in which the remaining areas are line-symmetrical.

[0767] When the coil pattern (Cp) is formed in a patterned form on the core (1110) of the first coil substrate portion (1100), the first coil pattern (CP1) may be arranged on the upper side of the core (1110), and the second coil pattern (CP2) may be arranged on the lower side of the core (1110).

[0768] According to the present embodiment, a first coil pattern (CP1) and a second coil pattern (CP2) that are stacked vertically can be connected vertically to form a heating coil (WC). At this time, the coil module (1001, 1003) can include a region in which the first coil pattern (CP1) and the second coil pattern (CP2) are arranged alternately vertically.

[0769] For example, a plurality of first coil substrate portions (1100) may be stacked in a vertical direction, and a first coil pattern (CP1) and a second coil pattern (CP2) may be deposited on both sides in the vertical direction of each first coil substrate portion (1100), and accordingly, the first coil pattern (CP1) and the second coil pattern (CP2) may be arranged alternately in the vertical direction.

[0770] When the coil pattern (Cp) is formed in a patterned form on the core (1110) of the first coil substrate portion (1100), the lower edge (Ca) may be in contact with the core (1110), and the upper edge (Cb) may be spaced apart from the core (1110) in the vertical direction by the thickness of the coil pattern (Cp).

[0771] Meanwhile, as described above, the coil pattern (Cp) can be formed by etching, in which case at least a portion of the coil pattern (Cp) can have an uneven surface. In the drawings exemplified above, the coil pattern (Cp) is illustrated as having only a smooth surface, but the coil pattern (Cp) formed by a method such as etching can actually be formed to have an uneven surface.

[0772] For example, in the coil pattern (Cp) of the present embodiment, as illustrated in FIG. 65, one of the bottom side (Ca) and the top side (Cb) may form a flat surface, and the other of the bottom side (Ca) and the top side (Cb) may form an uneven surface.

[0773] As an example, the bottom edge (Ca) may form a flat surface, and the top edge (Cb) may form a rough surface. As a result of the etching process for forming the coil pattern (Cp), the top edge (Cb) forms a rough surface, and the bottom edge (Ca) in contact with the core (1110) forms a flat surface.

[0774] When the coil pattern (Cp) is formed in a patterned form on both upper and lower sides of the core (1110) of the first coil substrate portion (1100), the upper surface of the first coil pattern (CP1) arranged on the upper side of the core (1110) forms an uneven surface, and the lower surface of the second coil pattern (CP2) arranged on the lower side of the core (1110) forms an uneven surface.

[0775] As another example, as illustrated in FIG. 66, the coil pattern (Cp) may be formed only on the cross-section of the first coil substrate portion (1110), or the coil pattern (Cp) may be printed on the upper surface of each insulating layer. When the coil pattern (Cp) is printed on the upper surface of each insulating layer, the insulating layer and the coil pattern (Cp) printed thereon may be sequentially stacked from the lowest layer.

[0776] In this case, in all coil patterns (Cp), the upper edge (Cb) can be arranged above the lower edge (Ca). That is, in all coil patterns (Cp), the upper edge (Cb) faces in one direction, for example, upward. In other words, in all coil patterns (Cp) illustrated in FIG. 66, the flat lower edge (Ca) can be arranged to face downward, and the bumpy upper edge (Cb) can be arranged to face upward.

[0777] While the present invention has been described with reference to the embodiments illustrated in the drawings, these are merely exemplary, and those skilled in the art will understand that various modifications and equivalent embodiments are possible. Accordingly, the true technical protection scope of the present invention should be defined by the following claims.

[0778] For example, embodiments of the heating coil assembly are described herein in which the heating coil assembly is used in a cooking appliance. However, in other embodiments, the heating coil assembly may be applied to other appliances requiring induction heating.

[0779] For example, a heating coil assembly may be mounted on a washing machine and used to heat the water tank, drum, or wash tub inside the washing machine, or to heat the wash water.

[0780] As another example, the heating coil assembly may be mounted on a water purifier and used to heat a hot water pipe or tank.

[0781] As another example, the heating coil assembly may be mounted on a clothes dryer or clothes care appliance and used to heat the air for drying clothes.

[0782] As another example, a heating coil assembly may be mounted on an electric kettle or rice cooker and used to heat liquid or food inside the appliance.
