Abstract
Description
Phase Tracking Reference Signal (PTRS) Port Mapping Method and Related Devices
[0001] This application claims priority to the Chinese patent application filed with the State Intellectual Property Office on September 28, 2023, with application number 202311295327.1 and application name “Phase Tracking Reference Signal PTRS Port Mapping Method and Related Devices”, the entire contents of which are incorporated by reference into this application. Technical Field
[0002] The present application relates to the field of communication technology, and in particular to a phase tracking reference signal (PTRS) port mapping method and related devices. Background Art
[0003] In high-frequency communications, phase noise significantly impacts transmission performance. Phase noise refers to the phase shift of a signal after it is transmitted through the antenna, caused by non-idealities in antenna components. To address this issue, the receiving device needs to measure phase noise to determine its specific characteristics (e.g., the phase shift caused by the noise), thereby removing the effects of phase noise from the data signal. Network equipment can configure one or two PTRS ports for terminal devices to transmit PTRS signals. This enables phase noise measurement.
[0004] When the terminal device sends the PTRS corresponding to each PTRS port, a specific precoding matrix needs to be used. The PTRS corresponding to the PTRS port can be generated using the precoding matrix used by the terminal device when transmitting the data stream. When the terminal device transmits multiple data streams, or the terminal device uses multiple demodulation reference signal (DMRS) ports, the precoding matrix corresponding to each data stream or each DMRS port is different. One data stream corresponds to one DMRS port. Therefore, the terminal device can determine the precoding matrix used by the PTRS corresponding to the PTRS port by determining the DMRS port corresponding to the PTRS port.
[0005] However, how the terminal device should determine the DMRS port corresponding to the PTRS port is an urgent problem to be solved.
[0006] Summary of the Invention
[0007] The present application provides a PTRS port mapping method and related apparatus, configured to, when a first condition is met, cause a terminal device to use an uplink PTRS port, and determine the DMRS port corresponding to the uplink PTRS port based on a first correspondence. This method enables the terminal device to determine the DMRS port corresponding to the uplink PTRS port, facilitates the terminal device to generate a PTRS using a precoding matrix for the DMRS port, and transmit the PTRS through the PTRS port.
[0008] The first aspect of the present application provides a PTRS port mapping method, which is executed by a terminal device. The terminal device can be a device or apparatus with a chip, or a device or apparatus with an integrated circuit, or a chip, chip system, module, or control unit in the aforementioned device or apparatus, and the present application does not limit this. It should be noted that in the present application, when referring to a terminal device, it can refer to the terminal device itself, or it can refer to a chip, functional module or integrated circuit in the terminal device that completes the method provided by the present application, and the present application does not limit this. In the first aspect and its possible implementation methods, the method is described as being executed by a terminal device. The method includes:
[0009] When the first condition is met, the terminal device adopts an uplink PTRS port, and the terminal device determines the demodulation reference signal DMRS port corresponding to the uplink PTRS port according to the first corresponding relationship; wherein, the maximum number of transmission streams of the physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) of the terminal device does not exceed 4, the maximum number of ports of the uplink PTRS of the terminal device is 2, and the first corresponding relationship includes the correspondence between the uplink PTRS port and the DMRS port; the first condition includes a combination of one or more of the following: the sounding reference signal (SRS) resource set indication field in the downlink control information (DCI) does not exist, and the DCI is used to schedule the terminal device for PUSCH transmission; the value of the SRS resource set indication field in the DCI is 00 or 01; the PUSCH transmission scheduled by the DCI adopts a fully coherent codebook; the network device configures a spatial domain multiplexing (SDM) transmission mode for the terminal device; the terminal device supports the use of a fully coherent codebook for transmission; or, the codebook set configured by the network device for the terminal device includes a fully coherent codebook. Optionally, the DMRS port corresponding to the one PTRS port is used to determine the precoding matrix used by the PTRS corresponding to the one PTRS port. That is, the precoding matrix used by the PTRS corresponding to the one PTRS port is the precoding matrix corresponding to the DMRS port.
[0010] As can be seen from the above technical solution, if the maximum number of PUSCH transmission streams of a terminal device does not exceed 4, the maximum number of uplink PTRS ports of the terminal device is 2, and the first condition is met, the terminal device uses a single uplink PTRS port, and the terminal device determines the DMRS port corresponding to the single uplink PTRS port based on the first correspondence. This enables the terminal device to determine the DMRS port corresponding to the single uplink PTRS port. This facilitates the terminal device to transmit PTRS using the precoding matrix of the DMRS port. This enables the terminal device to correctly perform PTRS transmission, ensuring PUSCH transmission performance.
[0011] The second aspect of the present application provides a PTRS port mapping method, which is performed by a network device. The network device can be a device or apparatus with a chip, or a device or apparatus with an integrated circuit, or a chip, chip system, module, or control unit in the aforementioned device or apparatus, and the present application does not limit this. It should be noted that in the present application, when referring to a network device, it can refer to the network device itself, or it can refer to a chip, functional module or integrated circuit in the network device that completes the method provided by the present application, and the present application does not limit this. In the second aspect and its possible implementation methods, the method is described as being performed by a network device. The method includes:
[0012] When the first condition is met, the network device uses an uplink PTRS port, and the network device determines the demodulation reference signal DMRS port corresponding to the uplink PTRS port according to the first corresponding relationship; wherein, the maximum number of transmission streams of the PUSCH of the terminal device does not exceed 4, the maximum number of ports of the uplink PTRS of the terminal device is 2, and the first corresponding relationship includes the correspondence between the uplink PTRS port and the DMRS port; the first condition includes a combination of one or more of the following: the SRS resource set indication field in the DCI does not exist, and the DCI is used to schedule the terminal device for PUSCH transmission; the value of the SRS resource set indication field in the DCI is 00 or 01; the PUSCH transmission scheduled by the DCI uses a fully coherent codebook; the network device configures the SDM transmission mode for the terminal device; the terminal device supports the use of a fully coherent codebook for transmission; or, the codebook set configured by the network device for the terminal device includes a fully coherent codebook. Optionally, the DMRS port corresponding to the one PTRS port is used to determine the precoding matrix adopted by the PTRS corresponding to the one PTRS port. That is, the precoding matrix used by the PTRS corresponding to the one PTRS port is the precoding matrix corresponding to the DMRS port.
[0013] As can be seen from the above technical solution, when the maximum number of PUSCH transmission streams of a terminal device does not exceed 4, the maximum number of uplink PTRS ports of the terminal device is 2, and the first condition is met, the network device uses a single uplink PTRS port and determines the DMRS port corresponding to the single uplink PTRS port based on the first correspondence. This allows the network device to determine the DMRS port corresponding to the single uplink PTRS port. This facilitates the network device to receive the PTRS corresponding to the single PTRS port through the precoding matrix of the DMRS port. This enables the network device to correctly receive the PTRS, thereby ensuring PUSCH transmission performance.
[0014] Based on the first aspect or the second aspect, in a possible implementation, the first condition includes: the value of the SRS resource set indication field is 00 or 01, the DCI-scheduled PUSCH transmission adopts a fully coherent codebook, and the network device configures the SDM transmission mode for the terminal device; or, the first condition includes: the value of the SRS resource set indication field is 00 or 01, and the DCI-scheduled PUSCH transmission adopts a fully coherent codebook. In this implementation, a specific example is shown for the first condition, so that when the first condition is met, the terminal device or network device adopts an uplink PTRS port, and the terminal device or network device determines the DMRS port corresponding to the uplink PTRS port according to the first corresponding relationship. Avoid the problem that the terminal device or network device cannot determine the DMRS port corresponding to the PTRS port. Enable the terminal device or network device to correctly perform uplink PTRS transmission and ensure the performance of PUSCH transmission.
[0015] Based on the first aspect or the second aspect, in one possible implementation, the terminal device uses an uplink PTRS port, including the terminal device using uplink PTRS port 0; or the terminal device using uplink PTRS port 1; or, if the value of the SRS resource set indicator field is 00, the terminal device uses uplink PTRS port 0; if the value of the SRS resource set indicator field is 01, the terminal device uses uplink PTRS port 1. In this implementation, the specific PTRS port used by the terminal device is specified, so that the terminal device selects one of the two configured PTRS ports for PTRS transmission.
[0016] Based on the first aspect or the second aspect, in a possible implementation, the first correspondence includes: a correspondence between the value of the PTRS-DMRS association field and the DMRS port, and the four values of the PTRS-DMRS association field correspond to at most four DMRS ports of the PUSCH. In this implementation, the specific form of the first correspondence is shown, which can actually be the correspondence between the value of the PTRS-DMRS association field in the DCI and the DMRS port. This enables the terminal device to determine the DMRS port corresponding to the PTRS port through the value of the PTRS-DMRS association field in the DCI.
[0017] Based on the first aspect, in one possible implementation, a terminal device determines the DMRS port corresponding to the one uplink PTRS port based on a first correspondence, including: the terminal device determines the DMRS port corresponding to the one uplink PTRS port based on the value of the PTRS-DMRS association field in the DCI and the first correspondence. This enables the terminal device to determine the DMRS port corresponding to the one uplink PTRS port. This facilitates the terminal device to transmit PTRS using the precoding matrix of the DMRS port. This enables the terminal device to correctly perform PTRS transmission, thereby ensuring PUSCH transmission performance.
[0018] Based on the second aspect, in one possible implementation, the network device determines the DMRS port corresponding to the one uplink PTRS port based on the first correspondence, including: the network device determines the DMRS port corresponding to the one uplink PTRS port based on the value of the PTRS-DMRS association field in the DCI and the first correspondence. This enables the network device to determine the DMRS port corresponding to the one uplink PTRS port. This facilitates the network device to transmit PTRS using the precoding matrix of the DMRS port. This enables the network device to correctly receive PTRS, thereby ensuring PUSCH transmission performance.
[0019] Based on the first aspect, in a possible implementation method, the method further includes: when the second condition is met, the terminal device uses the uplink PTRS port 0 and the uplink PTRS port 1, and the terminal device determines the DMRS ports corresponding to the uplink PTRS port 0 and the uplink PTRS port 1 respectively according to the second correspondence; wherein the maximum number of transmission streams of the PUSCH of the terminal device does not exceed 4, the maximum number of ports of the uplink PTRS of the terminal device is 2, and the second correspondence includes the correspondence between the uplink PTRS port 0 and the uplink PTRS port 1 and the DMRS port; the second condition includes the correspondence between the uplink PTRS port 0 and the uplink PTRS port 1 and the DMRS port. The following combination of the following items: the SRS resource set indicator field in the DCI does not exist; the value of the SRS resource set indicator field in the DCI is 00 or 01; the DCI-scheduled PUSCH transmission does not use a fully coherent codebook; the DCI-scheduled PUSCH transmission uses a partially coherent codebook or a non-coherent codebook; the DCI-scheduled PUSCH transmission uses a non-codebook transmission mode; the network device does not configure the SDM transmission mode for the terminal device; the terminal device does not support transmission using a fully coherent codebook; or the codebook set configured by the network device for the terminal device does not include a fully coherent codebook. Therefore, if the maximum number of PUSCH transmission streams of the terminal device does not exceed 4, the maximum number of uplink PTRS ports of the terminal device is 2, and the second condition is met, the terminal device uses uplink PTRS port 0 and uplink PTRS port 1. The terminal device determines the DMRS ports corresponding to uplink PTRS port 0 and uplink PTRS port 1, respectively, based on the second correspondence. This facilitates the terminal device to transmit the corresponding PTRS using the precoding matrices of the DMRS ports corresponding to uplink PTRS port 0 and uplink PTRS port 1, respectively. To ensure that the terminal device correctly performs PTRS transmission and guarantees the performance of PUSCH transmission. That is, the maximum number of PUSCH transmission streams of the terminal device does not exceed 4, and the maximum number of uplink PTRS ports of the terminal device is 2. This application further refines two conditions or two scenarios (first condition and second condition respectively) and stipulates how the terminal device determines the DMRS port corresponding to the PTRS port. This avoids the problem that the terminal device cannot determine the DMRS port corresponding to the PTRS port in some cases.
[0020] Based on the second aspect, in a possible implementation manner, the method further includes: when the second condition is met, the network device adopts the uplink PTRS port 0 and the uplink PTRS port 1, and the network device determines the DMRS ports corresponding to the uplink PTRS port 0 and the uplink PTRS port 1 respectively according to the second correspondence; wherein the maximum number of transmission streams of the PUSCH of the terminal device does not exceed 4, the maximum number of ports of the uplink PTRS of the terminal device is 2, and the second correspondence includes the correspondence between the uplink PTRS port 0 and the uplink PTRS port 1 and the DMRS port; the second condition includes the correspondence between the uplink PTRS port 0 and the uplink PTRS port 1 and the DMRS port. The following combination of the following items: the SRS resource set indicator field in the DCI does not exist; the SRS resource set indicator field in the DCI has a value of 00 or 01; the DCI-scheduled PUSCH transmission does not use a fully coherent codebook; the DCI-scheduled PUSCH transmission uses a partially coherent codebook or a non-coherent codebook; the DCI-scheduled PUSCH transmission uses a non-codebook transmission mode; the network device has not configured the SDM transmission mode for the terminal device; the terminal device does not support transmission using a fully coherent codebook; or the codebook set configured by the network device for the terminal device does not include a fully coherent codebook. Therefore, if the maximum number of PUSCH transmission streams of the terminal device does not exceed 4, the maximum number of uplink PTRS ports of the terminal device is 2, and the second condition is met, the network device uses uplink PTRS port 0 and uplink PTRS port 1. The network device determines the DMRS ports corresponding to uplink PTRS port 0 and uplink PTRS port 1, respectively, based on the second correspondence. This facilitates the network device to transmit the corresponding PTRS using the precoding matrices of the DMRS ports corresponding to uplink PTRS port 0 and uplink PTRS port 1, respectively. To ensure that network devices correctly receive PTRS and guarantee the performance of PUSCH transmission. Specifically, the maximum number of PUSCH transmission streams for a terminal device does not exceed 4, and the maximum number of uplink PTRS ports for the terminal device is 2. This application further refines two conditions or scenarios (the first condition and the second condition, respectively) and specifies how network devices determine the DMRS port corresponding to a PTRS port. This avoids the problem that network devices cannot determine the DMRS port corresponding to a PTRS port in some cases.
[0021] Based on the first aspect or the second aspect, in a possible implementation, the second condition includes: the SRS resource set indication field does not exist or the value of the SRS resource set indication field is 00 or 01, and the DCI-scheduled PUSCH transmission does not use a fully coherent codebook; or, the second condition includes: the SRS resource set indication field does not exist or the value of the SRS resource set indication field is 00 or 01, and the DCI-scheduled PUSCH transmission does not use a fully coherent codebook or the network device does not configure the SDM transmission mode for the terminal device. In this implementation, a specific example is shown for the second condition, so that when the second condition is met, the terminal device or the network device determines the DMRS ports corresponding to the uplink PTRS port 0 and the uplink PTRS port 1 respectively according to the second corresponding relationship. Avoid the problem that the terminal device or the network device cannot determine the DMRS port corresponding to the PTRS port. Enable the terminal device or the network device to correctly perform PTRS transmission and ensure the performance of PUSCH transmission.
[0022] Based on the first aspect or the second aspect, in one possible implementation, the second correspondence includes: a correspondence between the value of the PTRS-DMRS Association field and the DMRS port; the two values of the first bit of the PTRS-DMRS Association field correspond to two DMRS ports in the first group of PUSCH DMRS ports, and the two values of the second bit of the PTRS-DMRS Association field correspond to two DMRS ports in the second group of PUSCH DMRS ports; the first group of DMRS ports shares PTRS port 0, and the second group of DMRS ports shares PTRS port 1. In this implementation, a specific form of the second correspondence is shown, and it can actually be a correspondence between the value of the PTRS-DMRS Association field in the DCI and the DMRS port. This enables a terminal device or network device to determine the DMRS port corresponding to PTRS port 0 and the PTRS port, respectively, by using the values of each bit in the PTRS-DMRS Association field in the DCI.
[0023] Based on the first aspect, in a possible implementation method, the terminal device determines the DMRS ports corresponding to the uplink PTRS port 0 and the uplink PTRS port 1 respectively according to the second corresponding relationship, including: the terminal device determines the DMRS port corresponding to the uplink PTRS port 0 according to the value of the first bit of the PTRS-DMRS association field in the DCI, and determines the DMRS port corresponding to the uplink PTRS port 1 according to the value of the second bit of the PTRS-DMRS association field in the DCI. Thereby, the terminal device accurately determines the DMRS port corresponding to the uplink PTRS port 0 and the DMRS port corresponding to the uplink PTRS port 1. It is convenient for the terminal device to send the PTRS corresponding to the uplink PTRS port 0 through the precoding matrix of the DMRS port corresponding to the uplink PTRS port 0, and the terminal device to send the PTRS corresponding to the uplink PTRS port 1 through the precoding matrix of the DMRS port corresponding to the uplink PTRS port 1. It enables the terminal device to correctly perform PTRS transmission and ensure the performance of PUSCH transmission.
[0024] Based on the second aspect, in a possible implementation, the network device determines the DMRS ports corresponding to uplink PTRS port 0 and uplink PTRS port 1, respectively, based on a second correspondence, including: the network device determines the DMRS port corresponding to uplink PTRS port 0 based on the value of the first bit of the PTRS-DMRS association field in the DCI, and determines the DMRS port corresponding to uplink PTRS port 1 based on the value of the second bit of the PTRS-DMRS association field in the DCI. This enables the network device to accurately determine the DMRS port corresponding to uplink PTRS port 0 and the DMRS port corresponding to uplink PTRS port 1 based on the second correspondence. This facilitates the network device to receive the PTRS corresponding to uplink PTRS port 0 through the precoding matrix of the DMRS port corresponding to uplink PTRS port 0, and the network device to receive the PTRS corresponding to uplink PTRS port 1 through the precoding matrix of the DMRS port corresponding to uplink PTRS port 1. This enables the network device to correctly receive PTRS and ensure the performance of PUSCH transmission.
[0025] Based on the first aspect, in one possible implementation, the method further includes: the terminal device transmitting the PTRS corresponding to the one uplink PTRS port according to the precoding matrix of the DMRS port corresponding to the one uplink PTRS port, thereby enabling the terminal device to correctly transmit the PTRS and ensure PUSCH transmission performance.
[0026] Based on the second aspect, in one possible implementation, the method further includes: the network device receiving and processing a PTRS corresponding to the one uplink PTRS port according to a precoding matrix of a DMRS port corresponding to the one uplink PTRS port. This enables the network device to correctly receive the uplink PTRS, facilitates correct parsing of the uplink PTRS, and ensures PUSCH transmission performance.
[0027] Based on the first aspect, in one possible implementation, the method further includes: the terminal device transmitting the PTRS corresponding to uplink PTRS port 0 and the uplink PTRS port 1, respectively, based on the precoding matrix of the DMRS port corresponding to uplink PTRS port 0 and the precoding matrix of the DMRS port corresponding to uplink PTRS port 1. This enables the terminal device to correctly transmit the PTRS and ensures PUSCH transmission performance.
[0028] Based on the second aspect, in one possible implementation, the method further includes: the network device receiving and processing the PTRSs corresponding to uplink PTRS port 0 and uplink PTRS port 1, respectively, based on the precoding matrix of the DMRS port corresponding to uplink PTRS port 0 and the precoding matrix of the DMRS port corresponding to uplink PTRS port 1. This enables the network device to correctly receive the uplink PTRS, facilitates correct parsing of the PTRSs corresponding to uplink PTRS port 0 and uplink PTRS port 1, and ensures PUSCH transmission performance.

Optionally, the DMRS port corresponding to the one PTRS port is used to determine the precoding matrix adopted by the PTRS corresponding to the one PTRS port. Avoid the problem that the terminal device or network device cannot determine the DMRS port corresponding to the PTRS port. Enable the terminal device or network device to correctly perform uplink PTRS transmission and ensure the performance of PUSCH transmission.
[0036] Based on the third aspect or the fourth aspect, in one possible implementation, the terminal device uses an uplink PTRS port, including the terminal device using uplink PTRS port 0; or the terminal device using uplink PTRS port 1; or, if the value of the SRS resource set indicator field is 00, the terminal device uses uplink PTRS port 0; if the value of the SRS resource set indicator field is 01, the terminal device uses uplink PTRS port 1. In this implementation, the specific PTRS port used by the terminal device is specified, so that the terminal device selects one of the two configured PTRS ports for PTRS transmission.

[0040] It can be seen from this that for the terminal device, the maximum number of transmission streams for the PUSCH does not exceed 4, the maximum number of ports for the uplink PTRS of the terminal device is 2, and when the second condition is met, the terminal device uses uplink PTRS port 0 and uplink PTRS port 1, and the terminal device determines the DMRS ports corresponding to uplink PTRS port 0 and uplink PTRS port 1 respectively according to the second corresponding relationship. It is convenient for the terminal device to send the corresponding PTRS through the precoding matrix of the DMRS port corresponding to uplink PTRS port 0 and uplink PTRS port 1 respectively. The terminal device is enabled to correctly perform PTRS transmission and ensure the performance of PUSCH transmission. That is, the maximum number of transmission streams for the PUSCH of the terminal device does not exceed 4, and the maximum number of ports for the uplink PTRS of the terminal device is 2. This application further refines three conditions or three scenarios (respectively, the first condition, the second condition and the third condition), and stipulates the way in which the terminal device determines the DMRS port corresponding to the PTRS port. Thereby avoiding the problem that the terminal device cannot determine the DMRS port corresponding to the PTRS port in some cases.
[0041] Based on the fourth aspect, in a possible implementation method, the method also includes: when the second condition is met, the network device adopts uplink PTRS port 0 and uplink PTRS port 1, and the network device determines the DMRS ports corresponding to uplink PTRS port 0 and uplink PTRS port 1 respectively according to the second correspondence; wherein, the maximum number of transmission streams of the PUSCH of the terminal device does not exceed 4, the maximum number of uplink PTRS ports of the terminal device is 2, and the second correspondence includes the correspondence between uplink PTRS port 0 and uplink PTRS port 1 and the DMRS port; the second condition includes a combination of one or more of the following: the SRS resource set indication field in the DCI does not exist; the value of the SRS resource set indication field in the DCI is 00 or 01; the PUSCH transmission scheduled by the DCI does not adopt a fully coherent codebook; the PUSCH transmission scheduled by the DCI adopts a partially coherent codebook or an incoherent codebook; the PUSCH transmission scheduled by the DCI adopts a non-codebook transmission mode; the terminal device does not support the use of a fully coherent codebook for transmission; or, the codebook set configured by the network device for the terminal device does not include a fully coherent codebook.
[0042] It can be seen from this that for the terminal device, the maximum number of transmission streams for the PUSCH does not exceed 4, the maximum number of ports for the uplink PTRS of the terminal device is 2, and when the second condition is met, the terminal device uses uplink PTRS port 0 and uplink PTRS port 1, and the network device determines the DMRS ports corresponding to uplink PTRS port 0 and uplink PTRS port 1 respectively according to the second corresponding relationship. This facilitates the network device to receive the corresponding PTRS through the precoding matrix of the DMRS port corresponding to uplink PTRS port 0 and uplink PTRS port 1 respectively. This enables the network device to correctly perform PTRS transmission and ensure the performance of PUSCH transmission. That is, for the terminal device, the maximum number of transmission streams for the PUSCH does not exceed 4, and the maximum number of ports for the uplink PTRS of the terminal device is 2, this application further refines three conditions or three scenarios (the first condition, the second condition and the third condition respectively), and stipulates the way in which the terminal device determines the DMRS port corresponding to the PTRS port. This avoids the problem that the network device cannot determine the DMRS port corresponding to the PTRS port in some cases.
[0043] Based on the third aspect or the fourth aspect, in a possible implementation, the second condition includes: the SRS resource set indication field does not exist or the value of the SRS resource set indication field is 00 or 01, and the DCI-scheduled PUSCH transmission does not use a fully coherent codebook. In this implementation, a specific example is shown for the second condition, so that when the second condition is met, the terminal device or network device determines the DMRS ports corresponding to the uplink PTRS port 0 and the uplink PTRS port 1 respectively according to the second corresponding relationship. Avoid the problem that the terminal device or network device cannot determine the DMRS port corresponding to the PTRS port. Enable the terminal device or network device to correctly perform PTRS transmission and ensure the performance of PUSCH transmission.
[0044] Based on the third aspect, in a possible implementation, the method further includes: when the third condition is met, the terminal device adopts uplink PTRS port 0 and uplink PTRS port 1, and the terminal device determines the DMRS ports corresponding to uplink PTRS port 0 and uplink PTRS port 1 respectively according to the second correspondence; wherein, the maximum number of transmission streams of the PUSCH of the terminal device does not exceed 4, the maximum number of ports of the uplink PTRS of the terminal device is 2, and the second correspondence includes the correspondence between uplink PTRS port 0 and uplink PTRS port 1 and the DMRS port; the third condition includes one or more of the following combinations: the SRS resource set indication field in the DCI does not exist; the value of the SRS resource set indication field in the DCI is 00 or 01; or, the network device does not configure the SDM transmission mode for the terminal device. It can be seen that, for the terminal device, the maximum number of transmission streams of the PUSCH does not exceed 4, the maximum number of ports of the uplink PTRS of the terminal device is 2, and when the third condition is met, the terminal device adopts uplink PTRS port 0 and uplink PTRS port 1, and the terminal device determines the DMRS ports corresponding to uplink PTRS port 0 and uplink PTRS port 1 respectively according to the second correspondence. It is convenient for the terminal device to send the corresponding PTRS through the precoding matrix of the DMRS port corresponding to the uplink PTRS port 0 and the uplink PTRS port 1 respectively. The terminal device can correctly perform PTRS transmission and ensure the performance of PUSCH transmission. That is, the maximum number of transmission streams for the PUSCH of the terminal device does not exceed 4, and the maximum number of ports for the uplink PTRS of the terminal device is 2. This application further refines three conditions or three scenarios (the first condition, the second condition and the third condition respectively), and stipulates the way for the terminal device to determine the DMRS port corresponding to the PTRS port. This avoids the problem that the network device cannot determine the DMRS port corresponding to the PTRS port in some cases.
[0045] Based on the fourth aspect, in a possible implementation method, the method also includes: when the third condition is met, the network device adopts uplink PTRS port 0 and uplink PTRS port 1, and the network device determines the DMRS ports corresponding to uplink PTRS port 0 and uplink PTRS port 1 respectively according to the second correspondence; wherein, the maximum number of transmission streams of the PUSCH of the terminal device does not exceed 4, the maximum number of uplink PTRS ports of the terminal device is 2, and the second correspondence includes the correspondence between uplink PTRS port 0 and uplink PTRS port 1 and the DMRS port; the third condition includes one or more of the following combinations: the SRS resource set indication field in the DCI does not exist; the value of the SRS resource set indication field in the DCI is 00 or 01; or, the network device has not configured the SDM transmission mode for the terminal device.
[0046] It can be seen from this that the maximum number of transmission streams for the PUSCH of the terminal device does not exceed 4, the maximum number of ports for the uplink PTRS of the terminal device is 2, and when the third condition is met, the network device uses uplink PTRS port 0 and uplink PTRS port 1, and the network device determines the DMRS ports corresponding to uplink PTRS port 0 and uplink PTRS port 1 respectively according to the second corresponding relationship. It is convenient for the network device to receive the corresponding PTRS through the precoding matrix of the DMRS port corresponding to uplink PTRS port 0 and uplink PTRS port 1 respectively. The network device is enabled to correctly receive PTRS and ensure the performance of PUSCH transmission. That is, the maximum number of transmission streams for the PUSCH of the terminal device does not exceed 4, and the maximum number of ports for the uplink PTRS of the terminal device is 2. This application further refines three conditions or three scenarios (the first condition, the second condition and the third condition respectively), and stipulates the way in which the network device determines the DMRS port corresponding to the PTRS port. Thereby avoiding the problem that the network device cannot determine the DMRS port corresponding to the PTRS port in some cases.
[0047] Based on the third aspect or the fourth aspect, in a possible implementation, the third condition includes: the SRS resource set indication field does not exist or the value of the SRS resource set indication field is 00 or 01, and the network device has not configured the SDM transmission mode for the terminal device. In this implementation, a specific example is shown for the third condition, so that when the third condition is met, the terminal device or the network device determines the DMRS ports corresponding to the uplink PTRS port 0 and the uplink PTRS port 1 respectively according to the second corresponding relationship. Avoid the problem that the terminal device or the network device cannot determine the DMRS port corresponding to the PTRS port. Enable the terminal device or the network device to correctly perform PTRS transmission and ensure the performance of PUSCH transmission.
[0048] Based on the third aspect or the fourth aspect, in one possible implementation, the second correspondence includes: a correspondence between the value of the PTRS-DMRS association field and the DMRS port, wherein the two values of the first bit of the PTRS-DMRS association field correspond to two DMRS ports in the first group of PUSCH DMRS ports, and the two values of the second bit of the PTRS-DMRS association field correspond to two DMRS ports in the second group of PUSCH DMRS ports; the first group of DMRS ports shares PTRS port 0, and the second group of DMRS ports shares PTRS port 1. In this implementation, a specific form of the second correspondence is shown, which can actually be a correspondence between the value of the PTRS-DMRS association field in the DCI and the DMRS port. This allows a terminal device or network device to determine the DMRS port corresponding to PTRS port 0 and the PTRS port, respectively, through the values of each bit in the PTRS-DMRS association field in the DCI.

[0050] Based on the fourth aspect, in a possible implementation, the network device determines the DMRS ports corresponding to uplink PTRS port 0 and uplink PTRS port 1, respectively, based on the second corresponding relationship, including: the network device determines the DMRS port corresponding to uplink PTRS port 0 based on the value of the first bit of the PTRS-DMRS association field in the DCI, and determines the DMRS port corresponding to uplink PTRS port 1 based on the value of the second bit of the PTRS-DMRS association field in the DCI. This enables the network device to accurately determine the DMRS port corresponding to uplink PTRS port 0 and the DMRS port corresponding to uplink PTRS port 1 based on the second corresponding relationship.

[0116] Embodiments of the present application provide a PTRS port mapping method and related apparatus, configured to, when a first condition is met, cause a terminal device to use an uplink PTRS port. The terminal device then determines the DMRS port corresponding to the uplink PTRS port based on a first correspondence. This allows the terminal device to determine the DMRS port corresponding to the uplink PTRS port. This facilitates the terminal device to transmit PTRS using the precoding matrix of the DMRS port. This enables the terminal device to correctly perform PTRS transmission, ensuring PUSCH transmission performance.
[0117] The following will be combined with the drawings in the embodiments of the present application to clearly and completely describe the technical solutions in the embodiments of the present application. Obviously, the embodiments described are only part of the embodiments of the present application, not all of the embodiments. Based on the embodiments in the present application, all other embodiments obtained by those skilled in the art without making creative efforts are within the scope of protection of this application.
[0118] References to "one embodiment" or "some embodiments" in this application mean that a particular feature, structure, or characteristic described in conjunction with that embodiment is included in one or more embodiments of the application. Thus, phrases such as "in one embodiment," "in some embodiments," "in other embodiments," and "in other embodiments" appearing in various places in this specification do not necessarily refer to the same embodiment, but rather mean "one or more but not all embodiments," unless otherwise specifically emphasized. The terms "including," "comprising," "having," and variations thereof mean "including but not limited to," unless otherwise specifically emphasized.
[0119] In the description of this application, unless otherwise specified, " / " means "or", for example, A / B can mean A or B. "And / or" in this article is merely a description of the association relationship of associated objects, indicating that there can be three relationships. For example, A and / or B can mean: A exists alone, A and B exist at the same time, and B exists alone. In addition, "at least one" means one or more, and "plurality" means two or more. "At least one of the following items" or similar expressions refers to any combination of these items, including any combination of single items or plural items. For example, at least one of a, b, or c can mean: a, b, c; a and b; a and c; b and c; or a, b, and c. Among them, a, b, and c can be single or multiple.
[0120] It is understood that in this application, "indication" can include direct indication, indirect indication, explicit indication, and implicit indication. When describing that a certain indication information is used to indicate A, it can be understood that the indication information carries A, directly indicates A, or indirectly indicates A.
[0121] The technical solutions of the present application can be applied to various communication systems. For example, 5G systems, new radio (NR) systems, long term evolution (LTE) systems, LTE frequency division duplex (FDD) systems, LTE time division duplex (TDD) systems, universal mobile telecommunication systems (UMTS), mobile communication systems after 5G networks (for example, 6G mobile communication systems), vehicle to everything (V2X) communication systems, device to device (D2D) communication systems, Internet of Things communication systems, industrial Internet communication systems, or satellite communication systems, etc.
[0122] The communication system to which the present application is applicable includes a network device and a terminal device. The terminal device can send an uplink PTRS to the network device through an uplink PTRS port. The network device measures the uplink PTRS to achieve phase noise measurement.
[0123] The terminal device and network device of this application are introduced below.
[0124] The terminal device may be a wireless terminal device capable of receiving network device scheduling information and instruction information. The terminal device may be a device that provides voice and / or data connectivity to a user, a handheld device with wireless connection function, or other processing device connected to a wireless modem.
[0125] Terminal equipment, also known as user equipment (UE), mobile station (MS), mobile terminal (MT), or customer premise equipment (CPE), is a device that includes wireless communication capabilities (providing voice / data connectivity to users). For example, it can be a handheld device or vehicle-mounted device with wireless connectivity. Currently, some examples of terminal equipment include mobile phones, tablets, laptops, PDAs, mobile internet devices (MIDs), wearable devices, virtual reality (VR) devices, augmented reality (AR) devices, wireless terminals in industrial control, wireless terminals in the Internet of Vehicles (IoV), wireless terminals in self-driving cars, wireless terminals in remote medical surgery, wireless terminals in smart grids, wireless terminals in transportation safety, wireless terminals in smart cities, and wireless terminals in smart homes. For example, wireless terminals in unmanned driving can be drones, helicopters, or airplanes. For example, wireless terminals in the Internet of Vehicles can be onboard equipment, complete vehicle equipment, onboard modules, vehicles, or ships. Wireless terminals in industrial control can be cameras, robots, or robotic arms. Wireless terminals in smart homes can be televisions, air conditioners, vacuum cleaners, speakers, or set-top boxes.
[0126] It should be noted that the terminal device can be a device or apparatus with a chip, or a device or apparatus with an integrated circuit, or a chip, chip system, module or control unit in the device or apparatus shown above, and this application does not limit it specifically. It should be noted that in this application, when referring to a terminal device, it can refer to the terminal device itself, or it can refer to a chip, functional module or integrated circuit in the terminal device that performs the method provided in this application, and this application does not limit it specifically.
[0127] A network device may be a device in a wireless network. For example, a network device may be a device deployed in a radio access network that provides wireless communication capabilities for terminal devices. For example, a network device may be a radio access network (RAN) node that connects a terminal device to a wireless network. The network device may also be referred to as an access network device, a RAN entity, an access node, a network node, or a communication device.
[0128] Specifically, the network device may be an access network device for a cellular system related to the Third Generation Partnership Project (3GPP). For example, a 4G communication system or a 5G communication system. The network device may also be an access network device in an open access network (O-RAN or ORAN) or a cloud radio access network (CRAN). Alternatively, the network device may be an access network device in a communication system obtained by integrating two or more of the above communication systems.
[0129] The network device includes, but is not limited to, an evolved Node B (eNB), a radio network controller (RNC), a Node B (NB), a base station controller (BSC), a base transceiver station (BTS), a home base station (e.g., a home evolved NodeB, or a home Node B, HNB), a baseband unit (BBU), an access point (AP) in a wireless fidelity (WIFI) system, a macro base station, a micro base station, a wireless relay node, a donor node, a wireless controller in a CRAN scenario, a wireless backhaul node, a transmission point (TP), or a transmission and receiving point (TRP), and may also be a network device in a 5G mobile communication system. For example, a next generation NodeB (gNB), a TRP, or a TP in an NR system; or one or a group of antenna panels (including multiple antenna panels) of a base station in a 5G mobile communication system; or the network device may also be a network node constituting a gNB or a transmission point. For example, a centralized unit (CU), a distributed unit (DU), a centralized unit control plane (CU-CP), a centralized unit user plane (CU-UP), or a radio unit (RU), etc. The CU and DU can be set separately, or can also be included in the same network element, such as a BBU. The RU can be included in a radio frequency device or a radio frequency unit. For example, in a remote radio unit (RRU), an active antenna unit (AAU), or a remote radio head (RRH). Alternatively, the network device can also be a server, a wearable device, a vehicle, or an on-board device, etc. For example, the access network device in the V2X technology can be a road side unit (RSU).
[0130] It should be noted that in different systems, CU (or CU-CP and CU-UP), DU or RU may also have different names, but those skilled in the art can understand their meanings. For example, in an open radio access network (ORAN) system, CU may also be called an open centralized unit (O-CU) or an open CU, DU may also be called an open distributed unit (O-DU), CU-CP may also be called an open centralized unit control plane (O-CU-CP), CU-UP may also be called an open centralized unit user plane (O-CU-UP), and RU may also be called an open radio unit (O-RU). This application does not limit this. Any of the CU, CU-CP, CU-UP, DU and RU in this application may be implemented through a software module, a hardware module, or a combination of a software module and a hardware module.
[0131] Optionally, for network elements in the ORAN system, each network element may implement the protocol layer functions shown in Table 1 below.
[0132] Table 1
[0133] It should be noted that, in the ORAN system, the network device in this application may be one or more network elements in Table 1 above.
[0134] The following describes the architecture of the CU and DU of an access network device. The access network device includes at least one CU and at least one DU. Optionally, the access network device also includes at least one RU.
[0135] The following is an introduction using the example of an access network device including a CU and a DU. The CU has some functions of the core network, and the CU may include a CU-CP and a CU-UP. The CU and the DU may be configured according to the protocol layer functions of the wireless network they implement. For example, the CU is configured to implement the functions of the packet data convergence protocol (PDCP) layer and the protocol layers above it (for example, the RRC layer and / or the SDAP layer). The DU is configured to implement the functions of the protocol layers below the PDCP layer (for example, the RLC layer, the MAC layer, and / or the physical (PHY) layer). For another example, the CU is configured to implement the functions of the protocol layers above the PDCP layer (such as the RRC layer and / or the SDAP layer), and the DU is configured to implement the functions of the PDCP layer and the protocol layers below it (for example, the RLC layer, the MAC layer, and / or the PHY layer, etc.).
[0136] When a CU includes a CU-CP and a CU-UP, the CU-CP is used to implement the control plane functions of the CU, and the CU-UP is used to implement the user plane functions of the CU. For example, when the CU is configured to implement the functions of the PDCP layer, RRC layer, and SDAP layer, the CU-CP is used to implement the RRC layer functions and the control plane functions of the PDCP layer, and the CU-UP is used to implement the SDAP layer functions and the user plane functions of the PDCP layer.
[0137] The CU-CP can interact with network elements in the core network that implement control plane functions. The network elements in the core network that implement control plane functions can be access and mobility function network elements, such as the access and mobility management function (AMF) in the 5G system. The access and mobility function network element is responsible for mobility management in the mobile network, such as location update of terminal devices, registration network of terminal devices, and switching of terminal devices.
[0138] The CU-UP can interact with network elements in the core network that implement user plane functions. Network elements in the core network that implement user plane functions, such as the User Plane Function (UPF) in the 5G system, are responsible for forwarding and receiving data in terminal devices.
[0139] The above configuration of CU and DU is only an example, and the functions of CU and DU can also be configured as needed. For example, the CU or DU can be configured to have the functions of more protocol layers, or the CU or DU can be configured to have partial processing functions of the protocol layer. For example, some functions of the RLC layer and the functions of the protocol layers above the RLC layer are set in the CU, and the remaining functions of the RLC layer and the functions of the protocol layers below the RLC layer are set in the DU. For another example, the functions of the CU or DU can be divided according to the service type or other system requirements. For example, according to the delay, the functions whose processing time needs to meet the smaller delay requirement are set in the DU, and the functions that do not need to meet the delay requirement are set in the CU.
[0140] The DU and RU can work together to implement the functions of the PHY layer. A DU can be connected to one or more RUs. The functions of the DU and RU can be configured in various ways according to the design. For example, the DU is configured to implement the baseband function, and the RU is configured to implement the mid-RF function. For another example, the DU is configured to implement the high-layer functions in the PHY layer, and the RU is configured to implement the low-layer functions in the PHY layer or to implement the low-layer functions and the RF functions. The high-layer functions in the physical layer may include a part of the functions of the physical layer, which is closer to the MAC layer, and the low-layer functions in the physical layer may include another part of the functions of the physical layer, which is closer to the mid-RF side.
[0141] It should be noted that the network device can be a device or apparatus with a chip, or a device or apparatus with an integrated circuit, or a chip, chip system, module or control unit in the aforementioned device or apparatus, and this application does not limit this. It should be noted that in this application, when referring to a network device, it can refer to the network device itself, or it can refer to a chip, functional module or integrated circuit in the network device that performs the method provided in this application, and this application does not limit this.
[0142] To facilitate understanding of the technical solutions of the embodiments of the present application, two possible communication systems to which the method provided in the embodiments of the present application is applicable are shown below in conjunction with FIG1 and FIG2 .
[0143] Figure 1 is a schematic diagram of a communication system according to an embodiment of the present application. As shown in Figure 1 , the communication system includes at least one network device. For example, network device 111 is shown in Figure 1 . The communication system also includes at least one terminal device. For example, terminal device 121 and terminal device 122 are shown in Figure 1 . Network device 111 can communicate with terminal device 121 and terminal device 122.
[0144] Figure 2 is another schematic diagram of a communication system according to an embodiment of the present application. As shown in Figure 2, the communication system may include at least two network devices. For example, network device 211, network device 212, and network device 213 are shown in Figure 2. The communication system also includes at least one terminal device. For example, terminal device 221 is shown in Figure 2. Terminal device 221 can be provided with communication services by multiple network devices. For example, as shown in Figure 2, network device 211 can transmit to terminal device 221, and network device 212 can transmit to terminal device 221. Network device 213 can also transmit to terminal device 221. In other words, a terminal device can be provided with communication services by multiple network devices simultaneously.
[0145] The technical terms involved in this application are introduced below.
[0146] DMRS: used to estimate the channel traversed by the PUSCH to obtain channel information, and the network equipment can receive and process the PUSCH based on the channel information.
[0147] DMRS Port: A DMRS resource may include one or more DMRS ports, each corresponding to a DMRS. This DMRS is used to estimate channel information about the channel traversed by the data in the data stream corresponding to the DMRS. Each DMRS port corresponds to a data stream, and different DMRS ports or data streams use different precoding matrices.
[0148] PTRS: This measure measures the phase noise caused by antenna component non-idealities. Specifically, phase noise refers to the phase shift of a signal after it is transmitted from the antenna due to antenna component non-idealities. Network equipment can receive uplink PTRS and data from terminal devices to obtain detailed information about the phase noise. The network equipment then uses this information to perform phase noise compensation on the data.
[0149] PTRS Port: A terminal device can be configured with one or two PTRS ports, each corresponding to a PTRS. Each PTRS port corresponds to a data stream or a DMRS port. The PTRS corresponding to the PTRS port can be transmitted using the precoding matrix corresponding to the data stream or DMRS port, respectively.
[0150] Codebooks: These include fully coherent codebooks, partially coherent codebooks, and non-coherent codebooks. A fully coherent codebook means that all antenna ports of a terminal device can be combined to precode the same data stream. A partially coherent codebook means that some antenna ports of a terminal device can be combined to precode the same data stream. A non-coherent codebook means that no two antenna ports of a terminal device can be combined to precode the same data stream.
[0151] Single TRP transmission mode: The terminal device transmits to a single TRP. For example, the terminal device uses a single antenna panel or a single beam to send data to a single TRP. From the perspective of the maximum number of transmission streams, the single TRP transmission mode includes a single TRP transmission mode with a maximum number of transmission streams not exceeding 4 (i.e., single codeword transmission), and a single TRP transmission mode with a maximum number of transmission streams greater than 4 (i.e., dual codeword transmission). From the perspective of configuration, the single TRP transmission mode includes the terminal device being configured as a single TRP transmission mode, and the terminal device being configured as a multi-TRP mode but falling back to a single TRP transmission mode during actual scheduling.
[0152] Multi-TRP transmission mode: The terminal device transmits to multiple TRPs. Multi-TRP transmission modes include time domain multiplexing (TDM) transmission mode, single frequency network (SFN) transmission mode, and SDM transmission mode. TDM transmission mode is when the terminal device repeatedly transmits copies of the same data to two TRPs in a time-sharing manner. SFN transmission mode is when the terminal device sends the same data stream of the same data to two TRPs at the same time. SDM transmission mode is when the terminal device sends different data streams of the same data to two TRPs at the same time.
[0153] Panel: This refers to an antenna panel, which can be a network device or a terminal device. An antenna panel typically contains one or more antennas, arranged in an antenna array and beamformed to form a simulated beam. This antenna array can generate simulated beams pointing in different directions. In other words, each antenna panel can form multiple simulated beams, and beam measurement can be used to determine which simulated beam is optimal for that antenna panel. A terminal device can be equipped with multiple antenna panels, distributed in different locations and facing different directions. This ensures that no matter which direction the terminal device is facing, at least one antenna panel is facing the network device and can communicate with it. A terminal device can simultaneously activate all antenna panels for transmission. Alternatively, to reduce power consumption, a terminal device can transmit using only a single antenna panel at a time, leaving the remaining unused antenna panels disabled. The network device is typically notified of whether the terminal device's antenna panels are on or off. This means that the terminal and network devices typically need to exchange antenna panel status information.
[0154] In the embodiments of the present application, unless otherwise specified, the antenna panel means the antenna panel of the terminal device. In the protocol, the antenna panel can be represented by a panel, or a panel index, etc. In addition, the antenna panel can also be implicitly represented in other ways. For example, the antenna panel can also be represented by an antenna port (such as a channel status information reference signal (CSI-RS) port, an SRS port, a DMRS port, a PTRS port, a cell reference signal (CRS) port, a time-frequency tracking reference signal (TRS) port, a synchronization signal-broadcast channel measurement resource block (SSB) port, etc.) or an antenna port group. The antenna panel can also be represented by resources (such as CSI-RS resources, SRS resources, DMRS resources, PTRS resources, CRS resources, TRS resources, SSB resources, etc.) or resource groups. The antenna panel can also be characterized by a certain channel (such as physical uplink control channel (PUCCH), PUSCH, physical random access channel (PRACH), physical downlink sharing channel (PDSCH), physical downlink control channel (PDCCH), physical broadcast channel (PBCH), etc.). The antenna panel can also be characterized by beam, quasi-co-location (QCL), transmission configuration indicator state (TCI-state), spatial relation or an index configured in QCL, TCI-state, spatial relation. The antenna panel can also be characterized by beam group, QCL group, TCI-state group, spatial relation group, etc. The antenna panel can also be characterized by the terminal capability parameter set reported by the terminal device. There is a corresponding relationship between the terminal capability parameter set and the panel.A terminal capability parameter set includes relevant terminal capabilities corresponding to a panel, for example, the maximum number of transmission layers, the maximum number of SRS ports, the maximum transmission power, etc. corresponding to a panel.
[0155] In high-frequency communications, phase noise has a significant impact on transmission performance. Phase noise refers to the phase shift of a signal after it is transmitted through the antenna due to the non-ideality of the antenna component. To address this issue, the receiving device needs to measure the phase noise to determine the specific information about the phase noise (for example, the signal phase shift value caused by the phase noise), thereby removing the impact of the phase noise from the data. As shown in Figure 3, the base station acts as the receiving device and the terminal device acts as the transmitting device. The terminal device sends a PTRS at the same time as sending data. The base station measures the PTRS to obtain specific information about the phase noise. In uplink transmission, the terminal device can use one or two PTRS ports, each corresponding to a PTRS, which is used to independently measure the specific information about the phase noise corresponding to a group of antennas of the terminal device.
[0156] When the terminal device sends the PTRS corresponding to each PTRS port, a specific precoding matrix needs to be used. The PTRS corresponding to the PTRS port can be generated using the precoding matrix used during data transmission. When the terminal device transmits multiple data streams, or when the terminal device uses multiple DMRS ports, the precoding matrices corresponding to each data stream or each DMRS port are different. Among them, one data stream corresponds to one DMRS port. The network device indicates to the terminal device which data stream (or which DMRS port) the precoding matrix of the PTRS corresponding to a PTRS port uses. Specifically, the network device sends DCI to the terminal device. The DCI is used by the network device to schedule the terminal device to perform PUSCH transmission. The DCI includes a PTRS-DMRS association field. The PTRS-DMRS association field is used to indicate the DMRS port corresponding to or associated with each PTRS port of the terminal device. A PTRS port is associated with a corresponding DMRS port, and the PTRS corresponding to the PTRS port can be generated by the precoding matrix of the DMRS port corresponding to the PTRS port.
[0157] On the other hand, multiple PUSCH transmission modes are currently supported, including single-TRP transmission mode and multi-TRP transmission mode. There are two types of single-TRP transmission modes: single-TRP transmission mode with a maximum number of PUSCH transmission streams less than or equal to 4, and single-TRP transmission mode with a maximum number of PUSCH transmission streams greater than 4. The maximum number of PUSCH transmission streams refers to the number of data streams transmitted by the terminal device to the network device.
[0158] In the communication protocol, the network device indicates the DMRS port associated with each PTRS port through the PTRS-DMRS association field in the DCI. As shown in Table 2, there are two specific scenarios, namely Scenario 1 (Case 1) and Scenario 2 (Case 2).
[0159] Table 2
[0160] In scenario 1, if the network device configures a PTRS port for the terminal device, the SRS resource set indication field does not exist or the SRS resource set indication field value is 00 or 01, and the maximum number of PUSCH transmission streams is less than or equal to 4, the terminal device uses Table 7.3.1.1.2-25 in the communication protocol to determine the DMRS port corresponding to the PTRS port. See the following description for details about Table 7.3.1.1.2-25.
[0161] In scenario 2, if the network device configures two PTRS ports for the terminal device, the SRS resource set indication field does not exist or the SRS resource set indication field value is 00 or 01, and the maximum number of PUSCH transmission streams is less than or equal to 4, the terminal device uses Table 7.3.1.1.2-26 in the communication protocol to determine the DMRS ports corresponding to the two PTRS ports. See the following description for details about Table 7.3.1.1.2-26.
[0162] Table 7.3.1.1.2-25
[0163] For example, Table 7.3.1.1.2-25 is used for scenarios where PUSCH is transmitted using a single PTRS port. The terminal device can determine the DMRS port corresponding to the PTRS port through the value of the PTRS-DMRS association field in the DCI and Table 7.3.1.1.2-25. The length of the PTRS-DMRS association field can be 2 bits. It should be noted that the name of Table 7.3.1.1.2-25 is not limited in this application. In future communication protocols, as long as the content shown in the above Table 7.3.1.1.2-25 is included, it can be understood as Table 7.3.1.1.2-25 shown in this application.
[0164] Table 7.3.1.1.2-26
[0165] Table 7.3.1.1.2-26 is used for scenarios where PUSCH uses two PTRS ports (including PTRS port 0 and PTRS port 1) for transmission. The terminal device determines the DMRS ports corresponding to PTRS port 0 and PTRS port 1 respectively through the value of the PTRS-DMRS association field in the DCI and Table 7.3.1.1.2-26. Specifically, as shown in Table 7.3.1.1.2-26, the up to four DMRS ports of PUSCH are divided into two groups, each group includes two DMRS ports, and each group of DMRS ports corresponds to one PTRS port. For example, the first group of DMRS ports corresponds to PTRS port 0 (or the first PTRS port), and the second group of DMRS ports corresponds to PTRS port 1 (or the second PTRS port). In other words, for example, the first group of DMRS ports shares PTRS port 0 (or the first PTRS port), and the second group of DMRS ports shares PTRS port 1 (or the second PTRS port). The first bit in the PTRS-DMRS Association field (i.e., the upper bit of the PTRS-DMRS Association field) can be used to indicate which DMRS port in the first group of DMRS ports PTRS port 0 is associated with. The second bit in the PTRS-DMRS Association field (i.e., the lower bit of the PTRS-DMRS Association field) can be used to indicate which DMRS port in the second group of DMRS ports PTRS port 1 is associated with.
[0166] It should be noted that the SRS resource set indication field is a field in the DCI, and the SRS resource set indication field only exists when the network device has configured two SRS resource sets for multi-TRP transmission or multi-panel transmission for the terminal device. Therefore, the absence of the SRS resource set indication field in the DCI indicates that the network device has not configured two SRS resource sets for multi-TRP transmission or multi-panel transmission for the terminal device, that is, the PUSCH transmission is configured as a single TRP transmission mode. When the network device has configured two SRS resource sets for multi-TRP transmission or multi-panel transmission for the terminal device, the DCI has an SRS resource set indication field, and the SRS resource set indication field has four possible values, namely 00, 01, 10, and 11. Among them, if the value of the SRS resource set indication field is 00, it indicates that the PUSCH scheduled by the DCI adopts the first TRP or the first SRS resource set for transmission. If the value of the SRS resource set indication field is 01, it indicates that the PUSCH scheduled by the DCI adopts the second TRP or the second SRS resource set for transmission. If the value of the SRS resource set indication field is 10 or 11, it indicates that the DCI-scheduled PUSCH adopts the first TRP and the second TRP for transmission, or indicates that the DCI-scheduled PUSCH adopts the first SRS resource set and the second SRS resource set for transmission (i.e., multi-TRP transmission or multi-panel transmission). In other words, when the value of the SRS resource set indication field is 00 or 01, it means that the network device has configured a multi-TRP transmission mode for the terminal device, but the DCI-scheduled PUSCH actually adopts a single TRP transmission mode for transmission.
[0167] When the network device configures two PTRS ports for the terminal device, the SRS resource set indication field does not exist or the value of the SRS resource set indication field is 00 or 01, and the maximum number of PUSCH transmission streams of the terminal device is less than or equal to 4, the terminal device always uses Table 7.3.1.1.2-26 to determine the DMRS ports corresponding to the two PTRS ports. However, Table 7.3.1.1.2-26 is designed for non-fully coherent codebooks. If the DCI-scheduled PUSCH uses a non-fully coherent codebook, the terminal device can determine the DMRS ports corresponding to the two PTRS ports using Table 7.3.1.1.2-26. However, if the DCI-scheduled PUSCH uses a fully coherent codebook, the terminal device cannot use 7.3.1.1.2-26 to determine the DMRS ports corresponding to the two PTRS ports.
[0168] If the DCI-scheduled PUSCH uses a fully coherent codebook, the terminal device cannot use 7.3.1.1.2-26 to determine the DMRS ports corresponding to the two PTRS ports. This is because Table 7.3.1.1.2-26 divides the PUSCH DMRS ports into two groups based on antenna ports, with each group corresponding to the two PTRS ports. Specifically, according to the codebook used by the PUSCH (which determines the correspondence between DMRS ports and antenna ports), the DMRS ports corresponding to the first and third antenna ports are grouped together, and the DMRS ports corresponding to the second and fourth antenna ports are grouped together. When a fully coherent codebook is used, each DMRS port corresponds to all antenna ports, making it impossible to divide the DMRS ports into two groups using the above method. Therefore, if the DCI-scheduled PUSCH uses a fully coherent codebook, the terminal device cannot use 7.3.1.1.2-26 to determine the DMRS ports corresponding to the two PTRS ports.
[0169] Therefore, for the single TRP transmission mode in which the maximum number of PUSCH transmission streams is less than or equal to 4, how the terminal device determines the DMRS port corresponding to the PTRS port is a question worth considering. The present application provides a corresponding technical solution. When the first condition is met, the terminal device adopts an uplink PTRS port, and the terminal device determines the DMRS port corresponding to the uplink PTRS port according to the first corresponding relationship. The terminal device is enabled to determine the DMRS port corresponding to the uplink PTRS port. This facilitates the terminal device to send PTRS through the precoding matrix of the DMRS port. The terminal device is enabled to correctly perform PTRS transmission and ensure the performance of PUSCH transmission.
[0170] The technical solution of this application is introduced below in conjunction with specific embodiments.
[0171] FIG4 is a schematic diagram of an embodiment of the PTRS port mapping method of the present application. Referring to FIG4 , the method includes:
[0172] 401. When a first condition is met, the terminal device uses an uplink PTRS port, and the terminal device determines a DMRS port corresponding to the one PTRS port according to a first corresponding relationship.
[0173] The maximum number of PUSCH transmission streams for the terminal device is no more than 4, and the maximum number of ports for the terminal device's uplink PTRS is 2. In other words, the maximum number of PUSCH transmission streams for the terminal device is no more than 4, and the maximum number of ports for the terminal device's uplink PTRS is 2, which are prerequisites. Specifically, the network device can configure the maximum number of PUSCH transmission streams and the maximum number of ports for the uplink PTRS for the terminal device through configuration information. For details, please refer to the relevant description in step 400a below and will not be repeated here.
[0174] Optionally, the first condition includes one or more of the following combinations:
[0175] The SRS resource set indication field in the DCI does not exist. The DCI is used by network devices to schedule terminal devices to perform PUSCH transmissions.
[0176] The value of the SRS resource set indication field in the DCI is 00 or 01;
[0177] DCI-scheduled PUSCH transmission uses a fully coherent codebook;
[0178] The network device configures the SDM transmission mode for the terminal device;
[0179] The terminal device supports transmission using a fully coherent codebook; or,
[0180] The codebook set configured by the network device for the terminal device includes a fully coherent codebook.
[0181] It should be noted that the combination of the above multiple items can be a logical OR operation, a logical AND operation, or a mixed operation. The mixed operation can be a combination of logical, AND, and / or operations.
[0182] Some possible implementations of the first condition are shown below.
[0183] Implementation method 1: The first condition includes: the SRS resource set indication field in the DCI does not exist or the value of the SRS resource set indication field in the DCI is equal to 00 or 01, and the PUSCH scheduled by the DCI uses a fully coherent codebook, and the network device configures the SDM transmission mode for the terminal device.
[0184] Implementation method 2: The first condition includes: the value of the SRS resource set indication field in the DCI is equal to 00 or 01, the PUSCH scheduled by the DCI uses a fully coherent codebook, and the network device configures the SDM transmission mode for the terminal device.
[0185] Implementation method 3: The first condition includes: the SRS resource set indication field in the DCI does not exist or the value of the SRS resource set indication field in the DCI is equal to 00 or 01, and the PUSCH scheduled by the DCI uses a fully coherent codebook.
[0186] Implementation method 4: The first condition includes: the value of the SRS resource set indication field in the DCI is equal to 00 or 01, and the PUSCH scheduled by the DCI uses a fully coherent codebook.
[0187] The first corresponding relationship includes a corresponding relationship between an uplink PTRS port and a DMRS port.
[0188] Optionally, the first correspondence includes: a correspondence between the value of the PTRS-DMRS association field and the DMRS port, and the four values of the PTRS-DMRS association field correspond to up to four DMRS ports of the PUSCH. It can be understood that the first correspondence is essentially the correspondence between the value of the PTRS-DMRS association field and the DMRS port described in Table 7.3.1.1.2-25 above. The PTRS-DMRS association field is a field in the DCI, and the PTRS-DMRS association field is used to indicate the DMRS port corresponding to the one PTRS port.
[0189] Optionally, the terminal device determines the DMRS port corresponding to the PTRS port according to the first correspondence, including: the terminal device determines the DMRS port corresponding to the PTRS port according to the value of the PTRS-DMRS association field in the DCI and the first correspondence. That is, the terminal device determines the DMRS port corresponding to the PTRS port according to the value of the PTRS-DMRS association field in the DCI and the above Table 7.3.1.1.2-25.
[0190] For example, if the value of the PTRS-DMRS association field is 0, it can be seen from the above Table 7.3.1.1.2-25 that the DMRS port corresponding to the PTRS port is the 1st scheduled DMRS port. Alternatively, if the value of the PTRS-DMRS association field is 1, it can be seen from the above Table 7.3.1.1.2-25 that the DMRS port corresponding to the PTRS port is the 2nd scheduled DMRS port. Alternatively, if the value of the PTRS-DMRS association field is 2, it can be seen from the above Table 7.3.1.1.2-25 that the DMRS port corresponding to the PTRS port is the 3rd scheduled DMRS port. Alternatively, if the value of the PTRS-DMRS association field is 3, it can be seen from the above Table 7.3.1.1.2-25 that the DMRS port corresponding to the PTRS port is the 4th scheduled DMRS port.
[0191] Optionally, the length of the PTRS-DMRS association field can be 1 bit, 2 bits, or 3 bits, etc., which is not specifically limited in this application.
[0192] Optionally, the terminal device is configured with two PTRS ports, namely PTRS port 0 and PTRS port 1. Therefore, the terminal device can select one of the two PTRS ports. The following describes several possible implementations of a terminal device using a single PTRS port. This application is still applicable to other implementations and is not specifically limited by this application.
[0193] In a possible implementation, the terminal device adopting a PTRS port includes: the terminal device adopting PTRS port 0. That is, the terminal device adopts PTRS port 0 by default.
[0194] In another possible implementation, the terminal device adopts one PTRS port, including: the terminal device adopts PTRS port 1. That is, the terminal device adopts PTRS port 1 by default.
[0195] In another possible implementation, the terminal device adopts a PTRS port including: determining a PTRS port to be adopted by the terminal device according to the value of the SRS resource set indication field. For example, if the value of the SRS resource set indication field is 00, the terminal device adopts uplink PTRS port 0; if the value of the SRS resource set indication field is 01, the terminal device adopts uplink PTRS port 1. For another example, if the value of the SRS resource set indication field is 00, the terminal device adopts uplink PTRS port 1; if the value of the SRS resource set indication field is 01, the terminal device adopts uplink PTRS port 0.
[0196] In one possible implementation, this embodiment divides Scenario 2 shown in Table 2 into two scenarios: Scenario 2.1 and Scenario 2.2. Alternatively, this embodiment divides Scenario 2 shown in Table 2 into two conditions (i.e., a first condition and a second condition), each corresponding to a scenario. As shown in Table 3, this embodiment further subdivides Scenario 2 (Case 2) shown in Table 2 into Scenario 2.1 and Scenario 2.2.
[0197] Table 3
[0198] The first condition in step 401 corresponds to scenario 2.1 shown in Table 3 above. It can be seen that this embodiment stipulates that: when the maximum number of transmission streams of the PUSCH of the terminal device does not exceed 4, the maximum number of ports of the uplink PTRS of the terminal device is 2, the SRS resource set indication field does not exist or the value of the SRS resource set indication field is 00 or 01, the DCI-scheduled PUSCH transmission adopts a fully coherent codebook, and the network device configures the SDM transmission mode for the terminal device, the terminal device determines the DMRS port corresponding to the one PTRS port according to Table 7.3.1.1.2-25. This avoids the problem that the terminal device cannot determine the DMRS port corresponding to the PTRS port. The technical solution of this embodiment realizes a more reasonable division of scenarios, thereby enabling the terminal device to determine the DMRS port corresponding to the PTRS port, enabling the terminal device to correctly perform PTRS transmission, and ensuring the transmission performance of PUSCH.
[0199] Optionally, the embodiment shown in FIG4 further includes steps 401a to 401c. Steps 401a to 401c may be performed after step 401.
[0200] 401a: The terminal device sends the uplink PTRS corresponding to the one PTRS port to the network device according to the precoding matrix corresponding to the DMRS port. Correspondingly, the network device receives the uplink PTRS from the terminal device.
[0201] Specifically, the terminal device sends an uplink PTRS corresponding to a PTRS port based on the precoding matrix corresponding to the DMRS port. The DMRS port corresponds to a data stream of the PUSCH, and the precoding matrix corresponding to the DMRS port can also be called the precoding matrix corresponding to the data stream, that is, the terminal device transmits the data stream through the precoding matrix corresponding to the data stream. Therefore, the terminal device can use the precoding matrix corresponding to the DMRS port to send the uplink PTRS.
[0202] Optionally, the terminal device sends data in the data stream corresponding to the uplink PTRS and the DMRS port to the network device.
[0203] 401b: When the first condition is met, the network device uses an uplink PTRS port, and the network device determines a DMRS port corresponding to the one PTRS port according to a first corresponding relationship.
[0204] Step 401b is similar to the aforementioned step 401. For details, please refer to the relevant introduction of the aforementioned step 401, which will not be repeated here.
[0205] It should be noted that there is no fixed order for executing step 401b and step 401a. Step 401b may be executed first, then step 401a; or step 401a may be executed first, then step 401b; or, depending on the circumstances, step 401b and step 401a may be executed simultaneously. This application does not impose any specific restrictions.
[0206] 401c. The network device receives and processes the uplink PTRS according to the precoding matrix corresponding to the DMRS port.
[0207] Specifically, the network device measures the DMRS port associated with the uplink PTRS to obtain channel information for the channel traversed by the uplink PTRS. The network device then performs equalization based on this channel information to obtain the uplink PTRS. Based on this uplink PTRS, the network device can determine the phase noise experienced by the data signal and then remove the effects of this phase noise from the data signal.
[0208] 402. When the second condition is met, the terminal device uses the uplink PTRS port 0 and the uplink PTRS port 1, and the terminal device determines the DMRS ports corresponding to the uplink PTRS port 0 and the uplink PTRS port 1 respectively according to the second corresponding relationship.
[0209] The maximum number of PUSCH transmission streams for the terminal device is no more than 4, and the maximum number of ports for the terminal device's uplink PTRS is 2.
[0210] Optionally, the second condition includes one or more of the following combinations:
[0211] The SRS resource set indication field in the DCI does not exist. The DCI is used by network devices to schedule terminal devices to perform PUSCH.
[0212] The value of the SRS resource set indication field in the DCI is 00 or 01;
[0213] DCI-scheduled PUSCH transmission does not use a fully coherent codebook;
[0214] DCI-scheduled PUSCH transmission uses a partially coherent codebook or a non-coherent codebook;
[0215] The PUSCH transmission scheduled by DCI adopts the non-codebook transmission mode;
[0216] The network device is not configured with the SDM transmission mode for the terminal device;
[0217] The terminal device does not support transmission using a fully coherent codebook; or
[0218] The codebook set configured by the network device for the terminal device does not include a fully coherent codebook.
[0219] It should be noted that the combination of the above multiple items can be a logical OR operation, a logical AND operation, or a mixed operation. The mixed operation can be a combination of logical, AND, and / or operations.
[0220] Some possible implementations of the second condition are shown below.
[0221] Implementation method 1: The second condition includes: the SRS resource set indication field does not exist or the value of the SRS resource set indication field is 00 or 01, and the PUSCH transmission scheduled by the DCI does not use a fully coherent codebook.
[0222] Implementation method 2: The second condition includes: the SRS resource set indication field does not exist, and the DCI-scheduled PUSCH transmission does not use a fully coherent codebook.
[0223] Implementation method 3: The second condition includes: the value of the SRS resource set indication field is 00 or 01, and the DCI-scheduled PUSCH transmission does not use a fully coherent codebook.
[0224] Implementation method 4, the second condition includes: the SRS resource set indication field does not exist or the value of the SRS resource set indication field is 00 or 01, and the DCI-scheduled PUSCH transmission does not use a fully coherent codebook or the network device does not configure the SDM transmission mode for the terminal device.
[0225] Implementation method 5, the second condition includes: the SRS resource set indication field does not exist, and the PUSCH scheduled by the DCI does not use a fully coherent codebook or the network device does not configure the SDM transmission mode for the terminal device.
[0226] Implementation method 6, the second condition includes: the value of the SRS resource set indication field is 00 or 01, and the DCI-scheduled PUSCH transmission does not use a fully coherent codebook or the network device does not configure the SDM transmission mode for the terminal device.
[0227] The second correspondence includes a correspondence between uplink PTRS port 0 and uplink PTRS port 1 and a DMRS port.
[0228] Optionally, the second correspondence includes: the correspondence between the value of the PTRS-DMRS association field and the DMRS port, the two values of the first bit of the PTRS-DMRS association field correspond to the two DMRS ports in the first group of DMRS ports of PUSCH, and the two values of the second bit of the PTRS-DMRS association field correspond to the two DMRS ports in the second group of DMRS ports of PUSCH; the first group of DMRS ports shares PTRS port 0, and the second group of DMRS ports shares PTRS port 1.
[0229] In this implementation, the up to four DMRS ports of the PUSCH are divided into two groups of DMRS ports: the first group of DMRS ports and the second group of DMRS ports. The first bit of the PTRS-DMRS association field may also be referred to as the high-order bit of the PTRS-DMRS association field. The second bit of the PTRS-DMRS association field may also be referred to as the low-order bit of the PTRS-DMRS association field.
[0230] It can be understood that the second correspondence is essentially the correspondence between the value of the PTRS-DMRS association field described in the above Table 7.3.1.1.2-26 and the DMRS port. Optionally, the PTRS-DMRS association field is a field in the DCI. The terminal device determines the DMRS ports corresponding to PTRS port 0 and PTRS port 1 respectively according to the second correspondence, including: the terminal device determines the DMRS ports corresponding to PTRS port 0 and PTRS port 1 respectively according to the value of the PTRS-DMRS association field in the DCI and the second correspondence. That is, the terminal device determines the DMRS port corresponding to the one PTRS port according to the value of the PTRS-DMRS association field in the DCI and the above Table 7.3.1.1.2-26.
[0231] For example, the first bit in the PTRS-DMRS association field is used to indicate the DMRS port corresponding to PTRS port 0, and the second bit in the PTRS-DMRS association field is used to indicate the DMRS port corresponding to PTRS port 1. For example, if the value of the first bit in the PTRS-DMRS association field is 0 and the value of the second bit in the PTRS-DMRS association field is 1, then it can be seen from the above Table 7.3.1.1.2-26 that PTRS port 0 corresponds to the 1st DMRS port in the first group of DMRS ports, and PTRS port 1 corresponds to the 2nd DMRS port in the second group of DMRS ports.
[0232] Optionally, the length of the PTRS-DMRS association field can be 1 bit, 2 bits, or 3 bits, etc., which is not specifically limited in this application.
[0233] The second condition in the above step 402 corresponds to scenario 2.2 in the above table 3. It can be seen that this embodiment stipulates that: when the maximum number of transmission streams of the PUSCH of the terminal device does not exceed 4, the maximum number of ports of the uplink PTRS of the terminal device is 2, the SRS resource set indication field does not exist or the value of the SRS resource set indication field is 00 or 01, and the DCI-scheduled PUSCH transmission adopts a non-fully coherent codebook, or when the maximum number of transmission streams of the PUSCH of the terminal device does not exceed 4, the maximum number of ports of the uplink PTRS of the terminal device is 2, and the network device configures the SDM transmission mode for the terminal device, the terminal device determines the DMRS ports corresponding to PTRS port 0 and PTRS port 1 respectively according to Table 7.3.1.1.2-26. It can be seen that the technical solution provided by this embodiment can achieve more reasonable scenario division, so that the terminal device can correctly determine the DMRS port corresponding to the PTRS port in each single TRP transmission scenario. The terminal device can correctly perform PTRS transmission and ensure the transmission performance of PUSCH.
[0234] Optionally, the embodiment shown in FIG4 further includes steps 402a to 402c. Steps 402a to 402c may be performed after step 402.
[0235] 402a. The terminal device transmits the uplink PTRS corresponding to uplink PTRS port 0 and the uplink PTRS corresponding to uplink PTRS port 1 to the network device based on the precoding matrices of the DMRS ports corresponding to uplink PTRS port 0 and uplink PTRS port 1, respectively. Accordingly, the network device receives the uplink PTRS corresponding to uplink PTRS port 0 and the uplink PTRS corresponding to uplink PTRS port 1 from the terminal device.
[0236] Specifically, the terminal device sends the uplink PTRS corresponding to uplink PTRS port 0 according to the precoding matrix of the DMRS port corresponding to uplink PTRS port 0. The terminal device sends the uplink PTRS corresponding to uplink PTRS port 1 according to the precoding matrix of the DMRS port corresponding to uplink PTRS port 1.
[0237] Optionally, the terminal device sends data in a data stream corresponding to the uplink PTRS corresponding to uplink PTRS port 0 and the DMRS port corresponding to the PTRS port 0 to the network device. The terminal device sends data in a data stream corresponding to the uplink PTRS corresponding to uplink PTRS port 1 and the DMRS port corresponding to the PTRS port 1 to the network device.
[0238] 402b. When the second condition is met, the network device uses uplink PTRS port 0 and uplink PTRS port 1, and the network device determines the precoding matrix of the DMRS port corresponding to uplink PTRS port 0 and uplink PTRS port 1 respectively according to the second corresponding relationship to generate the first uplink PTRS and the second uplink PTRS.
[0239] Step 402b is similar to the aforementioned step 402. For details, please refer to the relevant introduction of the aforementioned step 402, which will not be repeated here.
[0240] It should be noted that there is no fixed order for executing step 402b and step 402a. Step 402b may be executed first, then step 402a; or step 402a may be executed first, then step 402b; or, depending on the circumstances, step 402b and step 402a may be executed simultaneously. This application does not impose any specific restrictions.
[0241] 402c. The network device receives and processes the uplink PTRS corresponding to uplink PTRS port 0 and the uplink PTRS corresponding to uplink PTRS port 1 according to the precoding matrices corresponding to the DMRS ports corresponding to uplink PTRS port 0 and uplink PTRS port 1, respectively.
[0242] Specifically, the network device measures the DMRS port associated with uplink PTRS port 0 to obtain channel information of the channel experienced by the PTRS corresponding to PTRS port 0, and performs equalization based on the channel information to obtain the PTRS corresponding to PTRS port 0. The network device measures the DMRS port associated with uplink PTRS port 1 to obtain channel information of the channel experienced by the PTRS corresponding to PTRS port 1, and performs equalization based on the channel information to obtain the PTRS corresponding to PTRS port 1. Based on the PTRS corresponding to PTRS port 0 and PTRS port 1, the network device can determine the phase noise experienced by the two data streams of the PUSCH, respectively, and then remove the impact of the phase noise from the above two data streams.
[0243] For example, after the network device parses and obtains the uplink PTRS corresponding to uplink PTRS port 0 and the uplink PTRS corresponding to uplink PTRS port 1, the network device can measure the uplink PTRS corresponding to uplink PTRS port 0 to obtain a signal phase offset value of 0 caused by phase noise, and the network device measures the uplink PTRS corresponding to uplink PTRS port 1 to obtain a signal phase offset value of 1 caused by phase noise. The network device then compensates the data in the data stream corresponding to the DMRS port corresponding to uplink PTRS port 0 using the signal phase offset value of 0. The network device compensates the data in the data stream corresponding to the DMRS port corresponding to uplink PTRS port 1 using the signal phase offset value of 1.
[0244] Optionally, the embodiment shown in FIG4 further includes step 400a. Step 400a can be performed before step 401 or step 402.
[0245] 400a: The network device sends configuration information to the terminal device. Correspondingly, the terminal device receives the configuration information from the network device.
[0246] The configuration information is used to configure the maximum number of PUSCH transmission streams of the terminal device to not exceed 4 and the maximum number of uplink PTRS ports of the terminal device to be 2.
[0247] Optionally, the configuration information is also used to configure at least one of the following: whether the terminal device adopts a multi-TRP transmission mode, the multi-TRP transmission mode adopted by the terminal device, the SRS resource set corresponding to the PUSCH transmission, or the uplink codebook set corresponding to the PUSCH transmission.
[0248] Optionally, the configuration information is carried in RRC signaling.
[0249] Optionally, the embodiment shown in FIG4 further includes step 400b. Step 400b can be performed before step 401 or step 402.
[0250] 400b: The network device sends DCI to the terminal device. Correspondingly, the terminal device receives the DCI from the network device.
[0251] DCI is used to schedule terminal devices to perform PUSCH transmission.
[0252] Optionally, when the terminal device is configured with two SRS resource sets, the DCI includes an SRS resource set indication field, which is used to indicate the SRS resource set used for the PUSCH transmission scheduled by the DCI. If the terminal device uses a single SRS resource set for transmission, it means that the terminal device uses a single TRP transmission mode. If the terminal device uses two SRS resource sets for transmission, it means that the terminal device uses a multi-TRP transmission mode. For the meaning of the various values of the SRS resource set indication field, please refer to the relevant introduction in the previous text and will not be repeated here.
[0253] Optionally, the DCI includes a PTRS-DMRS association field, which is used to indicate the DMRS port corresponding to each PTRS port of the terminal device.
[0254] Optionally, if the embodiment shown in FIG. 4 includes step 400 a , step 400 b may be performed after step 400 a .
[0255] In an embodiment of the present application, when the maximum number of transmission streams of the PUSCH of a terminal device does not exceed 4, the maximum number of ports for the uplink PTRS of the terminal device is 2, and the first condition is met, the terminal device uses one uplink PTRS port, and the terminal device determines the DMRS port corresponding to the one uplink PTRS port based on the first correspondence. This enables the terminal device to determine the DMRS port corresponding to the one uplink PTRS port. This facilitates the terminal device to transmit the PTRS corresponding to the one PTRS port through the precoding matrix of the DMRS port. This enables the terminal device to correctly perform PTRS transmission and ensures the performance of PUSCH transmission.
[0256] FIG5 is a schematic diagram of another embodiment of the PTRS port mapping method according to an embodiment of the present application. Referring to FIG5 , the method includes:
[0257] 501. When a first condition is met, the terminal device uses an uplink PTRS port, and the terminal device determines a DMRS port corresponding to the one PTRS port according to a first corresponding relationship.
[0258] The maximum number of PUSCH transmission streams for the terminal device is no more than 4, and the maximum number of ports for the terminal device's uplink PTRS is 2. For details, please refer to the relevant description in step 500a below and will not be repeated here.
[0259] Regarding the first condition and the first corresponding relationship, please refer to the relevant introduction in the embodiment shown in FIG4 , which will not be repeated here.
[0260] Optionally, the terminal device determines the DMRS port corresponding to the PTRS port according to the first correspondence, including: the terminal device determines the DMRS port corresponding to the PTRS port according to the value of the PTRS-DMRS association field in the DCI and the first correspondence. That is, the terminal device determines the DMRS port corresponding to the PTRS port according to the value of the PTRS-DMRS association field in the DCI and the above Table 7.3.1.1.2-25.
[0261] For example, if the value of the PTRS-DMRS association field is 0, it can be seen from the above Table 7.3.1.1.2-25 that the DMRS port corresponding to the PTRS port is the 1st scheduled DMRS port.
[0262] Optionally, the length of the PTRS-DMRS association field can be 1 bit, 2 bits, or 3 bits, etc., which is not specifically limited in this application.
[0263] Optionally, the terminal device is configured with two PTRS ports, namely PTRS port 0 and PTRS port 1. Therefore, the terminal device can select one of the two PTRS ports. The following describes several possible implementations of a terminal device using a single PTRS port. This application is still applicable to other implementations and is not specifically limited by this application.
[0264] In a possible implementation, the terminal device adopting a PTRS port includes: the terminal device adopting PTRS port 0. That is, the terminal device adopts PTRS port 0 by default.
[0265] In another possible implementation, the terminal device adopts one PTRS port, including: the terminal device adopts PTRS port 1. That is, the terminal device adopts PTRS port 1 by default.
[0266] In another possible implementation, the terminal device adopts a PTRS port including: determining a PTRS port to be adopted by the terminal device according to the value of the SRS resource set indication field.
[0267] In one possible implementation, this embodiment divides Scenario 2 shown in Table 2 into three scenarios: Scenario 2-1, Scenario 2-2, and Scenario 2-3. In other words, this embodiment divides Scenario 2 shown in Table 2 into three conditions (i.e., the first condition, the second condition, and the third condition), each corresponding to a scenario. As shown in Table 4, this embodiment further subdivides Scenario 2 (Case 2) shown in Table 2 into Scenario 2-1, Scenario 2-2, and Scenario 2-3.
[0268] Table 4
[0269] The first condition in step 501 corresponds to scenario 2-1 shown in Table 4 above.
[0270] Optionally, the embodiment shown in FIG5 further includes steps 501a to 501c. Steps 501a to 501c may be performed after step 501.
[0271] 501a. The terminal device sends the uplink PTRS corresponding to the one PTRS port to the network device according to the precoding matrix corresponding to the DMRS port. Correspondingly, the network device receives the uplink PTRS from the terminal device.
[0272] 501b. When the first condition is met, the network device uses an uplink PTRS port, and the network device determines a DMRS port corresponding to the one PTRS port according to a first corresponding relationship.
[0273] 501c. The network device receives and processes the uplink PTRS according to the precoding matrix corresponding to the DMRS port.
[0274] Steps 501a to 501c are similar to steps 401a to 401c in the embodiment shown in FIG. 4 . For details, please refer to the relevant introduction of steps 401a to 401c in the embodiment shown in FIG. 4 , which will not be repeated here.
[0275] 502. When the second condition is met, the terminal device uses uplink PTRS port 0 and uplink PTRS port 1, and the terminal device determines the precoding matrix of the DMRS port corresponding to uplink PTRS port 0 and uplink PTRS port 1 respectively according to the second corresponding relationship to generate the first uplink PTRS and the second uplink PTRS.
[0276] The maximum number of PUSCH transmission streams for the terminal device is no more than 4, and the maximum number of ports for the terminal device's uplink PTRS is 2. For details, please refer to the relevant description in step 500a below and will not be repeated here.
[0277] Optionally, the second condition includes one or more of the following combinations:
[0278] The SRS resource set indication field in the DCI does not exist. The DCI is used by network devices to schedule terminal devices to perform PUSCH transmissions.
[0279] The value of the SRS resource set indication field in the DCI is 00 or 01;
[0280] DCI-scheduled PUSCH transmission does not use a fully coherent codebook;
[0281] DCI-scheduled PUSCH transmission uses a partially coherent codebook or a non-coherent codebook;
[0282] The PUSCH transmission scheduled by DCI adopts the non-codebook transmission mode;
[0283] The terminal device does not support transmission using a fully coherent codebook; or
[0284] The codebook set configured by the network device for the terminal device does not include a fully coherent codebook.
[0285] It should be noted that the combination of the above multiple items can be a logical OR operation, a logical AND operation, or a mixed operation. The mixed operation can be a combination of logical, AND, and / or operations.
[0286] The following are some possible implementations of the second condition. This application is still applicable to other implementations, and this application does not limit them specifically. That is, the second condition can be a combination of one or more of the above.
[0287] Implementation method 1: The second condition includes: the SRS resource set indication field does not exist or the value of the SRS resource set indication field is 00 or 01, and the PUSCH transmission scheduled by the DCI does not use a fully coherent codebook.
[0288] Implementation method 2: The second condition includes: the SRS resource set indication field does not exist, and the PUSCH transmission scheduled by the DCI does not use a fully coherent codebook.
[0289] Implementation method three, the second condition includes: the value of the SRS resource set indication field is 00 or 01, and the PUSCH transmission scheduled by DCI does not use a fully coherent codebook.
[0290] The second corresponding relationship is similar to the second corresponding relationship in step 402 in the embodiment shown in FIG. 4 . For details, please refer to the relevant introduction to the second corresponding relationship in step 402 in the embodiment shown in FIG. 4 .
[0291] Optionally, the terminal device determines the DMRS ports corresponding to PTRS port 0 and PTRS port 1 respectively according to the second correspondence, including: the terminal device determines the DMRS ports corresponding to PTRS port 0 and PTRS port 1 respectively according to the value of the PTRS-DMRS association field in the DCI and the second correspondence.
[0292] For example, the first bit in the PTRS-DMRS association field is used to indicate the DMRS port corresponding to PTRS port 0, and the second bit in the PTRS-DMRS association field is used to indicate the DMRS port corresponding to PTRS port 1. For example, if the value of the first bit in the PTRS-DMRS association field is 0 and the value of the second bit in the PTRS-DMRS association field is 1, then it can be seen from Table 7.3.1.1.2-26 that PTRS port 0 corresponds to the 1st DMRS port in the first group of DMRS ports, and PTRS port 1 corresponds to the 2nd DMRS port in the second group of DMRS ports.
[0293] The second condition in the above step 502 corresponds to scenario 2-2 in the above Table 4. It can be seen that this embodiment stipulates that: when the maximum number of transmission streams of the PUSCH of the terminal device does not exceed 4, the maximum number of uplink PTRS ports of the terminal device is 2, and the DCI-scheduled PUSCH transmission adopts a non-fully coherent codebook, the terminal device determines the DMRS ports corresponding to PTRS port 0 and PTRS port 1 respectively according to Table 7.3.1.1.2-26. It can be seen that the technical solution provided by this embodiment can achieve more reasonable scenario division, so that the terminal device can correctly determine the DMRS port corresponding to the PTRS port in each single TRP transmission scenario.
[0294] Optionally, the embodiment shown in FIG5 further includes steps 502a to 502c. Steps 502a to 502c may be performed after step 502.
[0298] Steps 502a to 502c are similar to steps 402a to 402c in the embodiment shown in FIG. 4 . For details, please refer to the relevant introduction of steps 402a to 402c in the embodiment shown in FIG. 4 , which will not be repeated here.
[0299] 503. When the third condition is met, the terminal device uses the uplink PTRS port 0 and the uplink PTRS port 1, and the terminal device determines the DMRS ports corresponding to the uplink PTRS port 0 and the uplink PTRS port 1 respectively according to the second corresponding relationship.
[0300] The maximum number of PUSCH transmission streams for the terminal device is no more than 4, and the maximum number of ports for the terminal device's uplink PTRS is 2. For details, please refer to the relevant description in step 500a below and will not be repeated here.
[0301] Optionally, the third condition includes one or more of the following combinations:
[0302] The SRS resource set indication field in the DCI does not exist;
[0303] The value of the SRS resource set indication field in the DCI is 00 or 01; or,
[0304] The network device is not configured with the SDM transmission mode for the terminal device.
[0305] It should be noted that the combination of the above multiple items can be a logical OR operation, a logical AND operation, or a mixed operation. The mixed operation can be a combination of logical, AND, and / or operations.
[0306] Some possible implementations of the third condition are shown below.
[0307] Implementation method 1: The third condition includes: the SRS resource set indication field in the DCI does not exist or the value of the SRS resource set indication field is 00 or 01, and the network device does not configure the SDM transmission mode for the terminal device.
[0308] Implementation method 2, the third condition includes: the SRS resource set indication field in the DCI does not exist, and the network device does not configure the SDM transmission mode for the terminal device.
[0309] Implementation method three, the third condition includes: the value of the SRS resource set indication field in the DCI is 00 or 01, and the network device does not configure the SDM transmission mode for the terminal device.
[0310] The second corresponding relationship is similar to the second corresponding relationship in step 402 in the embodiment shown in FIG. 4 . For details, please refer to the relevant introduction to the second corresponding relationship in step 402 in the embodiment shown in FIG. 4 .
[0311] Optionally, the terminal device determines the DMRS ports corresponding to PTRS port 0 and PTRS port 1 respectively according to the second correspondence, including: the terminal device determines the DMRS ports corresponding to PTRS port 0 and PTRS port 1 respectively according to the value of the PTRS-DMRS association field in the DCI and the second correspondence.
[0312] For example, the first bit in the PTRS-DMRS association field is used to indicate the DMRS port corresponding to PTRS port 0, and the second bit in the PTRS-DMRS association field is used to indicate the DMRS port corresponding to PTRS port 1.
[0313] The third condition in the above step 503 corresponds to scenario 2-3 in the above Table 4. It can be seen that this embodiment stipulates that: when the maximum number of transmission streams of the PUSCH of the terminal device does not exceed 4, the maximum number of uplink PTRS ports of the terminal device is 2, and the network device does not configure the SDM transmission mode for the terminal device, the terminal device determines the DMRS ports corresponding to PTRS port 0 and PTRS port 1 respectively according to Table 7.3.1.1.2-26. It can be seen that the technical solution provided by this embodiment can achieve more reasonable scenario division, so that the terminal device can correctly determine the DMRS port corresponding to the PTRS port in each single TRP transmission scenario.
[0314] Optionally, the embodiment shown in FIG5 further includes steps 503a to 503c. Steps 503a to 503c may be performed after step 503.
[0318] Steps 503a to 503c are similar to steps 402a to 402c in the embodiment shown in FIG. 4 . For details, please refer to the relevant introduction of steps 402a to 402c in the embodiment shown in FIG. 4 , which will not be repeated here.
[0319] Optionally, the embodiment shown in FIG5 further includes step 500a. Step 500a can be performed before step 501, step 502, or step 503.
[0320] 500a: The network device sends configuration information to the terminal device. Correspondingly, the terminal device receives the configuration information from the network device.
[0321] Step 500a is similar to step 400a in the embodiment shown in FIG. 4 . For details, please refer to the relevant introduction of step 400a in the embodiment shown in FIG. 4 , which will not be repeated here.
[0322] Optionally, the embodiment shown in FIG4 further includes step 500b. Step 500b can be performed before step 501, step 502, or step 503.
[0323] 500b: The network device sends DCI to the terminal device. Correspondingly, the terminal device receives the DCI from the network device.
[0324] Step 500b is similar to step 400b in the embodiment shown in FIG. 4 . For details, please refer to the relevant introduction of step 400b in the embodiment shown in FIG. 4 , which will not be repeated here.
[0325] Optionally, if the embodiment shown in FIG5 includes step 500a, step 500b may be performed after step 500a.
[0326] In an embodiment of the present application, if the maximum number of transmission streams for the PUSCH of a terminal device does not exceed 4, the maximum number of ports for the uplink PTRS of the terminal device is 2, and the first condition is met, the terminal device uses one uplink PTRS port, and the terminal device determines the DMRS port corresponding to the one uplink PTRS port based on the first correspondence. This enables the terminal device to determine the DMRS port corresponding to the one uplink PTRS port. This facilitates the terminal device to generate a PTRS using the precoding matrix of the DMRS port and to send the PTRS through the PTRS port. This enables the terminal device to correctly perform PTRS transmission and ensures the performance of PUSCH transmission.
[0327] The embodiments shown in FIG. 4 and FIG. 5 above illustrate a method for further subdividing the scenario 2 shown in Table 2 above. In fact, there may be other subdivision methods, which are not specifically limited in this application.
