[0001] This application claims priority to the Chinese patent application filed with the China Patent Office on September 27, 2023, with application number 202311282947.1 and application name “Detection module and electronic device”, the entire contents of which are incorporated by reference into this application. Technical Field
[0002] The embodiments of the present application relate to the field of terminal technology, and in particular to a detection module and an electronic device. Background Art
[0003] Currently, electronic devices such as smart bracelets and smart watches have integrated blood pressure measurement capabilities. These devices consist of an air pump, an air bag, and a pressure sensor. The air pump inflates and deflates the air bag, and the pressure sensor measures the pressure inside the air bag. The air bag surrounds and compresses the subject's artery. However, miniaturization of these electronic devices is difficult, making miniaturization a pressing issue.
[0004] Summary of the Invention
[0005] The embodiments of the present application provide a detection module and an electronic device that can reduce the difficulty of miniaturization.
[0006] In a first aspect, the present application provides a detection module comprising a pressure member and a thin film sensor. The pressure member is used to apply pressure to a measurement site. The thin film sensor is used to measure a pulse wave signal at the measurement site, and the thin film sensor is disposed between the pressure member and the measurement site.
[0007] When the detection module provided in the embodiment of the present application detects blood pressure, the pressure member applies pressure to the measurement site of the subject, causing the blood vessels in the measurement site to be squeezed to varying degrees and generating pulse wave signals of different shapes and amplitudes. At the same time, the thin film sensor can measure the pulse wave signal in an area above the measurement site, and the blood pressure and / or heart rate of the subject can be calculated based on the collected pulse wave signal. Since the thin film sensor is used to collect the pulse wave signal, the signal collection can be decoupled from the pressure member, and the size constraint of the pressure member can be reduced, which helps to miniaturize the detection module. In addition, by collecting the changes in the pulse wave signal through the thin film sensor, the detection module measures the pulse wave signal through a mechanical method, which is not affected by factors such as ambient light, skin color, and sweat, and can improve the accuracy of the detection. In addition, the thin film sensor collects the pulse wave signal in an area above the measurement site, avoiding the inaccurate measurement caused by position deviation in single-point measurement. It can also avoid the problems of large data scale, high hardware complexity, hardware computing power and algorithm requirements brought about by the use of pressure sensor arrays to collect pulse wave signals in an area. There is even no need to consider the consistency of multiple sensor units, which can ensure higher measurement efficiency and more accurate results.
[0008] In one possible embodiment, the detection module further includes a film member, wherein the film member is disposed between the pressure member and the film sensor. Alternatively, the film sensor is disposed between the film member and the pressure member. Alternatively, the film member includes a first portion and a second portion, wherein the first portion is disposed between the pressure member and the film sensor, and the film sensor is disposed between the first portion and the second portion.
[0009] The detection module provided in the embodiment of the present application can reduce the sensitivity of the thin film sensor by providing a thin film component, avoid the thin film sensor outputting signals due to slight changes in the measuring part, and reduce the probability of accidental operation of the thin film sensor.
[0010] In a possible implementation, the detection module further includes a packaging component, and the thin film sensor is disposed between the packaging component and the pressurizing component and is shielded by the packaging component.
[0011] The detection module provided in the embodiment of the present application can prevent the thin film sensor from being worn by arranging the thin film sensor between the pressure member and the packaging member and being shielded by the packaging member. It can also isolate the thin film sensor from erosion by oil, sweat, water vapor, and oxygen, thereby increasing the service life of the thin film sensor.
[0012] In a possible implementation, the pressurizing member includes a pressurizing airbag, and the thin film sensor is arranged between the measuring part and the pressurizing airbag.
[0013] The detection module provided in the embodiments of the present application inflates or deflates the pressurized airbag, causing it to expand or contract, thereby pressurizing, depressurizing, or maintaining a constant pressure on the measurement site. This ensures that the pulse wave signal at the measurement site changes, allowing the thin film sensor to capture the pulse wave signal. Furthermore, because the pulse wave signal is captured by the thin film sensor, the size constraints on the pressurized airbag are reduced, allowing the airbag to be designed to be narrower and shorter, thereby reducing the volume of the detection module.
[0014] In a possible implementation, the detection module further includes a restraining member, the restraining member is used to define an annular structure surrounding the measurement site, and the pressure member is disposed between the restraining member and the thin film sensor.
[0015] The detection module provided in the embodiment of the present application arranges the pressure-applying member before the restraining member and the thin film sensor, so that the pressure-applying member can apply pressure to the measuring part, thereby ensuring that the blood vessels at the measuring part generate a pulse wave signal due to compression.
[0016] In a possible implementation, the detection module further includes an air pressure sensor, which is used to detect the pressure in the pressurized airbag.
[0017] The detection module provided in the embodiments of the present application detects the pressure within the pressurized airbag using an air pressure sensor. Blood pressure or heart rate can be derived based on pressure changes within the pressurized airbag, thereby correcting the blood pressure or heart rate derived from the pulse wave signal collected by the thin film sensor, further improving measurement accuracy. Furthermore, when the thin film sensor is unable to measure static force, the pressurized airbag can ensure that a fixed pressure is applied to the measurement site, enabling heart rate measurement.
[0018] In one possible embodiment, the pressure-applying member includes a fastener and a restraining member, the first end of the restraining member is fixedly connected to the fastener, and the second end of the restraining member is transmission-connected to the fastener, the fastener and the restraining member are used to form an annular structure surrounding the measuring part and with a variable inner diameter, and the thin film sensor is arranged between the restraining member and the measuring part.
[0019] The detection module provided in the embodiment of the present application applies pressure to the measurement part through a pressure member composed of a fastener and a restraining member, which can simplify the structural design of the detection module. For example, there is no need for parts such as an air pump and an air pressure sensor. In addition, since the airbag is removed, the thickness of the pressure member can also be reduced. In addition, the inner diameter of the annular structure defined by the pressure member is variable, so that the detection module has an automatic tightening function. The measurement effect is not affected by the user's initial wearing tightness, thus avoiding measurement errors caused by wearing too loose or too tight.
[0020] In a possible implementation, the thin film sensor has a strip-shaped structure, and the length direction of the thin film sensor is parallel to the length direction of the pressure member.
[0021] By aligning the length of the thin film sensor with the length of the pressure element, the detection module provided in this embodiment ensures that the thin film sensor is always aligned with the artery at the measurement site, thereby capturing the pulse wave signal. Furthermore, the module can be adapted to different measurement sites on different subjects, enhancing the versatility of the detection module.
[0022] In one possible embodiment, the thin film sensor is one of the following: a piezoelectric thin film sensor, a piezoresistive thin film sensor, a piezoresistive thin film sensor, an ionic-electronic thin film sensor, or a triboelectric thin film sensor. By using these types of thin film sensors, pulse wave signals can be collected.
[0023] In one possible embodiment, the thin film sensor includes a first electrode layer, a sensing layer, and a second electrode layer stacked together, one of the first electrode layer and the second electrode layer being disposed between the pressure member and the sensing layer, and the other being disposed between the sensing layer and the measuring portion.
[0024] One of the first electrode layer and the second electrode layer of the thin film sensor in the detection module provided in the embodiment of the present application is arranged between the pressure-applying member and the sensing layer, and the other is arranged between the sensing layer and the measuring part, which can ensure that the pulse wave signal is collected when the blood vessels at the measuring part generate the pulse wave signal.
[0025] A second aspect of the present application provides an electronic device, comprising a detection module as described in any one of the first aspects.
[0026] The electronic device provided in the embodiment of the present application, by adopting the detection module of the first aspect, reduces the difficulty of miniaturization of the electronic device and can be miniaturized. In addition, because the detection module collects pulse wave signals through a thin film sensor, the accuracy of the electronic device in detecting heart rate can be improved. [0046] At present, electronic devices such as smart bracelets, smart watches, and watch-type blood pressure monitors are integrated with measurement functions such as blood pressure and heart rate. Among them, the electronic device includes an air pump, an air bag and a pressure sensor. The air pump is used to inflate or deflate the air bag, and the pressure sensor is used to measure the pressure inside the air bag. The air bag expands to compress the arterial blood vessels in the wrist. The pulsation amplitude of the blood vessels will also change during the change of external pressure, and this change will in turn affect the air pressure inside the air bag. During the entire air bag pressurization process, the pressure sensor will detect the pulse wave oscillation envelope signal that first increases and then decreases, and judge the blood pressure based on this envelope signal. In addition, the electronic device uses photoplethysmography (PPG) to measure heart rate. Among them, PPG is a method that shines light into the skin and measures the light scattering caused by blood flow. This method is based on the following working principle: when hemodynamic parameters, such as blood pulse rate (heart rate) or blood volume (cardiac output), change, the light entering the human body will undergo predictable scattering. This scattered light is received by photosensors and converted into electrical signals. By analyzing the periodicity of the obtained electrical signals, the heart rate data of the subject can be obtained.
[0047] However, to obtain a complete pulse wave envelope signal, the inflated airbag must provide a sufficient effective compression area. This results in a relatively wide airbag, making the electronic device bulky and difficult to miniaturize. Furthermore, the airbag compresses the radial and ulnar arteries at the wrist, which limits the maximum pressure it can apply. Furthermore, it's difficult to cover all wrist sizes with a single standard-sized airbag, necessitating the use of multiple airbags, increasing costs.
[0048] Furthermore, because PPG measurement is based on optical principles, any factors that affect scattered light intensity can cause measurement errors. For example, dark skin absorbs light more efficiently, reducing the amount of scattered light received by the photosensor, leading to larger errors. Another example is a loose fit, where the gap between the wrist and the PPG module is larger, introducing more ambient light, which then adds to the scattered light signal and impacts it. Furthermore, movement caused by movement can also cause deviations in the scattered light signal, leading to measurement errors.
[0049] In view of this, embodiments of the present application provide a detection module and electronic device that can reduce the difficulty of miniaturizing electronic devices. Furthermore, they can improve the accuracy of measuring heart rate and / or blood pressure. Furthermore, they can also reduce the computing power requirements of electronic devices, thereby improving the feasibility of electronic devices.
[0050] The following describes the implementation of the detection module and electronic device provided in the embodiments of the present application.
[0051] Figure 1 is a schematic diagram of the structure of a first electronic device provided in an embodiment of the present application. Referring to Figure 1 , the electronic device in an embodiment of the present application includes a detection module for detecting blood pressure and / or heart rate of a subject.
[0052] Among them, the electronic device provided in the embodiment of the present application may include but is not limited to a smart bracelet, a smart watch, a watch, a watch-type blood pressure monitor or a blood pressure meter, etc. In the embodiment of the present application, a smart watch is used as an example for explanation.
[0053] Continuing with Figure 1 , the detection module includes a pressure member 10 and a thin film sensor 20. The pressure member 10 is used to apply pressure to the subject's measurement area (not shown). The thin film sensor 20 is used to measure the pulse wave signal at the measurement area and is positioned between the pressure member 10 and the measurement area.
[0054] The thin film sensor 20 refers to a flexible sheet sensor having a thickness less than a preset thickness. For example, in the embodiment of the present application, the thin film sensor 20 is a flexible sheet sensor having a thickness less than 0.5 mm.
[0055] As shown in FIG1 , when the electronic device measures the measuring area of a subject, the pressure member 10 applies pressure to the measuring area of the subject, causing the blood vessels in the measuring area to be squeezed to varying degrees, thereby generating pulse wave signals of varying shapes and amplitudes. Simultaneously, the thin film sensor 20 can measure the pulse wave signal within an area of the measuring area, and the subject's blood pressure and / or heart rate can be calculated based on the collected pulse wave signal. The pressure member 10 applies multiple different pressure values to the measuring area, causing the envelope of the pulse wave signal to change, and the blood pressure value can be calculated based on the envelope change. The pressure member 10 applies a fixed pressure to the measuring area, and the frequency of the pulse wave signal is calculated, and the heart rate value can be calculated based on the frequency of the pulse wave signal.
[0056] In the embodiment of the present application, the pulse wave signal of the measuring part is collected by the thin film sensor 20, and the pressure acting on the measuring part is provided by the pressure member 10, so that the pressure member 10 and the collection of the pulse wave signal can be decoupled. Therefore, the size constraint of the pressure member 10 is reduced, and the pressure member 10 can be designed to be narrower and shorter, thereby reducing the volume of the pressure member 10, which in turn helps to miniaturize the detection module.
[0057] In this embodiment of the present application, the detection module uses a mechanical method to measure the pulse wave signal by applying a fixed pressure to the measurement site through a pressure member 10 and collecting the frequency of the pulse wave signal through a thin film sensor 20. Compared to the related art method of measuring heart rate through photoplethysmography, the detection module provided in this embodiment of the application is unaffected by factors such as ambient light, skin color, and sweat when measuring heart rate, thereby improving detection accuracy.
[0058] In this embodiment of the present application, thin-film sensor 20 collects pulse wave signals from a region above the measurement site, avoiding the inaccuracies associated with single-point measurement due to positional deviation. Furthermore, this approach avoids the large data volumes, hardware complexity, computing power, and algorithm requirements inherent in using a pressure sensor array to collect pulse wave signals from a single region. Furthermore, it eliminates the need to maintain consistency across multiple sensing units, ensuring higher measurement efficiency and more accurate results.
[0059] 1 , along the length direction of the pressure member 10 (eg, direction Y in FIG. 1 ), the length of the film sensor 20 is less than the length of the pressure member 10 . Of course, the length of the film sensor 20 may also be equal to the length of the pressure member 10 .
[0060] It should be noted that during the measurement process, the pressure member 10 covers the two arteries at the measurement site, causing them to vibrate, which in turn causes the skin at the measurement site to vibrate, generating multiple signal sources. At least one of these signal sources may be a clutter signal that interferes with the measurement of the thin film sensor 20. Therefore, if the length of the thin film sensor 20 is too long, the film sensor 20 may be interfered with by clutter signals, reducing the measurement performance of the film sensor 20. Of course, if the length of the film sensor 20 is too short, the film sensor 20 may not cover the arteries, and the pulse wave signal may not be measured.
[0061] In some embodiments, as shown in FIG1 , the thin film sensor 20 can be connected to the outer surface of the pressurizing member 10 . This allows the thin film sensor 20 to be fixed to the pressurizing member 10 and positioned between the pressurizing member 10 and the measurement site. The thin film sensor 20 can be connected to the surface of the pressurizing member 10 by bonding, hot pressing, or other methods.
[0062] In the embodiment of the present application, the type of the thin film sensor 20 may include but is not limited to a piezoelectric thin film sensor, a piezoresistive thin film sensor, a pressure-capacitive thin film sensor, an ion-electronic thin film sensor or a triboelectric thin film sensor. Among them, for a piezoelectric thin film sensor, its sensing material may include inorganic piezoelectric materials such as aluminum nitride, zinc oxide, lead zirconate titanate and organic piezoelectric materials such as polyvinylidene fluoride. For a piezoresistive thin film sensor, its sensing material may include carbon black, carbon nanotubes, etc. For a pressure-capacitive thin film sensor, its sensing material may include elastic materials such as polydimethylsiloxane, Ecoflex, and hydrogenated styrene-butadiene block copolymer. For an ion-electronic thin film sensor, its sensing material may include ionic liquids and ion gels. For a triboelectric thin film sensor, its sensing material may include polyethylene terephthalate and polytetrafluoroethylene, etc.
[0063] In some possible implementations, as shown in Figure 1 , the thin film sensor 20 can be strip-shaped, with its length parallel to the length of the pressure member 10. This arrangement ensures that the thin film sensor 20 is always aligned with the artery at the measurement site, ensuring that the pulse wave signal is captured by the thin film sensor 20 while also reducing its length and thus its cost. Furthermore, the sensor can be adapted to different measurement sites on different subjects, enhancing the versatility of the detection module.
[0064] There is no limitation on the specific shape of the thin film sensor 20. For example, the thin film sensor 20 may be rectangular.
[0065] It should be noted that, in addition to the strip-shaped structure, the thin film sensor 20 may also be a circular structure, a square structure, etc.
[0066] In some possible implementations, as shown in FIG1 , the pressurizing element 10 includes a pressurized airbag. A thin film sensor 20 is positioned between the measurement site and the pressurized airbag, which has a strip-shaped structure. During measurement, the pressurized airbag covers the artery at the measurement site. Inflating or deflating the airbag causes it to expand or contract, thereby pressurizing, depressurizing, or maintaining a constant pressure on the measurement site, ensuring that the pulse wave signal at the measurement site changes. Simultaneously, the thin film sensor 20 can acquire the pulse wave signal.
[0067] Accordingly, since the pulse wave signal is collected by the thin film sensor 20 and the pressurized airbag is used to apply pressure to the measurement site, the pressurized airbag is decoupled from the collection of the pulse wave signal, so the size constraint of the pressurized airbag is reduced, and the pressurized airbag can be designed to be narrower and shorter, which helps to reduce the volume of the detection module.
[0068] The specific material of the pressurized airbag is not limited here. The material of the pressurized airbag may include polymer materials such as thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer, thermoplastic elastomer, polyurethane, nitrile rubber, etc.
[0069] The pressurized airbag may be a single-layer structure or a multi-layer structure, which is not limited here.
[0070] The interior of the pressurized airbag is a closed structure. The pressurized airbag can be connected to the outside through one or more air nozzles (not shown in the figure), allowing external gas to enter and exit the pressurized airbag, thereby achieving expansion and contraction of the pressurized airbag. However, the method for entering and exiting the pressurized airbag is not limited here.
[0071] In some possible implementations, as shown in Figure 1 above, the detection module may further include a restraining member 30. The restraining member 30 defines a ring-shaped structure surrounding the measurement site, with the pressurizing member 10 positioned between the restraining member 30 and the thin-film sensor 20. This arrangement allows the pressurizing member 10 to apply pressure to the measurement site, ensuring that the blood vessels at the measurement site are compressed to generate a pulse wave signal.
[0072] As can be understood from Figure 1 , the pressure member 10 is a strip-shaped structure and serves as a pressurized airbag. This airbag cannot wrap around the measurement site, and thus cannot apply pressure to the measurement site. Therefore, in this embodiment of the present application, the pressure member 10 is positioned between the thin film sensor 20 and the restraining member 30 . This allows the pressure member 10 to apply pressure to the measurement site during measurement, thereby ensuring that the thin film sensor 20 can measure the pulse wave signal.
[0073] There is no limitation on the specific structure of the restraining member 30 , as long as the pressure member 10 can apply pressure to the measurement site.
[0074] For example, referring again to FIG. 1 , the restraint 30 may include a watch body 31, a first strap 32, and a second strap 33. The first end of the first strap 32 and the first end of the second strap 33 are respectively connected to opposite ends of the watch body 31, and the second end of the first strap 32 is detachably connected to the second end of the second strap 33. A pressure member 10 is disposed inside one of the first and second straps 32, 33. For example, as shown in FIG. 1 , the pressure member 10 is disposed inside the first strap 32, such that the pressure member 10 is disposed between the first strap 32 and the measurement site. During measurement, the second end of the first strap 32 and the second end of the second strap 33 are connected, forming a ring-shaped structure surrounding the measurement site. Thus, the pressure member 10 is disposed between the restraint 30 and the measurement site, thereby applying pressure to the measurement site.
[0075] 1 , the length of the pressure member 10 is equal to the length of the first strap 32 . However, the length of the pressure member 10 may also be less than the length of the first strap 32 .
[0076] In some embodiments, the width of the pressure member 10 is equal to the width of the first strap 32 . Of course, the width of the pressure member 10 may also be smaller than the width of the first strap 32 .
[0077] In the embodiment of the present application, the specific structure of the watch body 31 is not limited here. For example, the watch body 21 may include a housing and a display panel. The first end of the first strap 32 and the first end of the second strap 33 are respectively connected to opposite ends of the housing. The display panel is used to display information, such as text, images, etc.
[0078] It should be noted that the restraint 30 may be constructed of other structures besides the watch body 31, the first strap 32, and the second strap 33. Exemplarily, the restraint 30 is a strip-shaped belt (not shown), with the pressure member 10 disposed inside the belt, forming a ring-shaped structure surrounding the measurement site. Alternatively, in some embodiments, the restraint 30 is a ring-shaped member (not shown), with the pressure member 10 disposed inside the ring and between the ring and the measurement site.
[0079] Figure 2 is a block diagram of the electronic device shown in Figure 1. In some possible implementations, as shown in Figure 2, the electronic device may further include an air pump 82 and an exhaust valve 83. The pressurized airbag can be connected to the air pump 82 and exhaust valve 83 via two air nozzles, respectively, and the exhaust valve 83 is connected to the air pump. The air pump 82 and exhaust valve 83 work together to inflate or deflate the pressurized airbag, allowing the expansion and contraction of the pressurized airbag to meet the requirements of applying or releasing pressure on the measurement site.
[0080] In some embodiments, the air pump 82 and the exhaust valve 83 can be arranged inside the watch body 31 (not shown in the figure), which can improve the integration of the electronic device.
[0081] In some possible implementations, as shown in FIG2 , the electronic device may further include a controller 81 electrically connected to the thin film sensor 20, the air pump 82, and the exhaust valve 83. The controller 81 may be configured to control the air pump 82 and the exhaust valve 83 to inflate or deflate the pressurized airbag. Furthermore, the controller 81 may also calculate blood pressure and / or heart rate based on the pulse wave signal collected by the thin film sensor 20.
[0082] In some embodiments, the controller 81 may be disposed inside the watch body 31 (not shown in the figure), which may improve the integration of the electronic device.
[0083] In some possible implementations, as shown in Figure 2 , the detection module may further include an air pressure sensor 50 for detecting the pressure within the pressurized airbag. Accordingly, by detecting the pressure within the pressurized airbag using the air pressure sensor 50, blood pressure or heart rate can be determined based on the pressure changes within the pressurized airbag. This allows correction of the blood pressure or heart rate obtained from the pulse wave signal collected by the thin film sensor 20, further improving measurement accuracy. Furthermore, when the thin film sensor 20 is unable to measure static force, the pressurized airbag can be used to apply a fixed pressure to the measurement site, thereby achieving heart rate measurement.
[0084] It is understood that when film sensor 20 is only capable of detecting dynamic forces, without air pressure sensor 50, when the pressurized airbag applies a fixed pressure to the measurement site, the pressure sensed by film sensor 20 is zero. This makes it impossible to measure the frequency of the pulse wave signal under fixed pressure, and thus unable to measure heart rate. Therefore, when film sensor 20 is unable to measure static forces, using air pressure sensor 50 to detect the pressure within the pressurized airbag ensures that the pressurized airbag can apply a fixed pressure to the measurement site, enabling heart rate detection.
[0085] The specific installation location of the air pressure sensor 50 is not limited here. In one embodiment, the air pressure sensor 50 can be installed inside the pressurized airbag (not shown in the figure). Alternatively, in one embodiment, the air pressure sensor 50 can also be installed inside the watch body 31 (not shown in the figure).
[0086] Figure 3 is a cross-sectional view of the thin film sensor and pressurizing element shown in Figure 1 . In some possible implementations, thin film sensor 20 may include a stacked first electrode layer 21, a sensing layer 22, and a second electrode layer 23. One of the first electrode layer 21 and the second electrode layer 23 is positioned between the pressurizing element 10 and the sensing layer 22, while the other is positioned between the sensing layer 22 and the measurement site. For example, as shown in Figure 3 , the first electrode layer 21 is positioned between the pressurizing element 10 and the sensing layer 22, while the second electrode layer 23 is positioned between the sensing layer 22 and the measurement site.
[0087] When pressure is applied to the measurement site by the pressure-applying member 10, the second electrode layer 23 is positioned in close proximity to the skin at the measurement site. When subjected to external pressure, the distribution of charged particles within the sensing layer 22, such as electrons and ions, changes. This change is transmitted by the electrode layer, generating a change in the electrical signal. The thin-film sensor 20 measures the pressure value through a one-to-one mapping of the electrical signal to the external pressure value. In this embodiment of the present application, the external pressure value can be understood as the pressure exerted on the thin-film sensor 20 by the blood vessels under the pressure applied by the pressure-applying member 10.
[0088] In some embodiments, referring to FIG3 , along the thickness direction of the thin film sensor 20 (such as the X direction in FIG3 ), the thickness of the pressure member 10 is equal to the thickness of the thin film sensor 20 . Of course, the thickness of the pressure member 10 may also be greater than or less than the thin film sensor 20 (not shown in the figure).
[0089] In some embodiments, as shown in FIG3 , the first electrode layer 21 and the second electrode layer 23 have the same thickness along the thickness direction of the thin film sensor 20, and the thickness of either the first electrode layer 21 or the second electrode layer 23 is equal to half the thickness of the sensing layer 22. This configuration can reduce the thickness of the thin film sensor 20, facilitating miniaturization of the detection module.
[0090] The detection module may further include a connecting wire 40. Referring to FIG. 2 , and continuing with FIG. 4 and FIG. 5 , one end of the connecting wire 40 is electrically connected to the thin film sensor 20 , and the other end of the connecting wire 40 is electrically connected to the controller 81 of the electronic device. The connecting wire 40 can transmit the pulse wave signal collected by the thin film sensor 20 to the controller 81.
[0091] The connecting wire 40 may be electrically connected to at least one of the thin film sensor 20 and the controller 81 by plugging, welding, or bonding with conductive adhesive.
[0092] The specific type of connecting wire 40 is not limited herein. The types of connecting wire 40 may include, but are not limited to, enameled wire, rubber wire, and flexible printed circuit (FPC) cables. Furthermore, the conductor material of connecting wire 40 may include, but is not limited to, gold, silver, copper, aluminum, graphite, silver nanowires, and the like.
[0093] 4 and 5 , the connecting line 40 is disposed on the outside of the pressurizing member 10 . Of course, the connecting line 40 may also be disposed inside the pressurizing member 10 (not shown in the figures).
[0094] 4 and 5 , the connecting wire 40 is connected to the pressure member 10. Of course, the connecting wire 40 can also be arranged in the form of a flying wire on the outside of the pressure member 10. In other words, the connecting wire 40 can be connected to the pressure member 10 or not.
[0095] There is no limitation on how the connecting wire 40 is connected to the pressurizing member 10. For example, the connecting wire 40 can be connected to the pressurizing member 10 by surface lamination, deposition, or the like.
[0096] In some possible implementations, as shown in Figures 4 and 5 above, the detection module may further include an encapsulation member 80, with the thin film sensor 20 disposed between the encapsulation member 80 and the pressurizing member 10 and shielded by the encapsulation member 80. This arrangement protects the thin film sensor 20 from wear and tear, and also isolates it from corrosion by oil, sweat, water vapor, and oxygen, thereby extending the service life of the thin film sensor 20.
[0097] The packaging component 80 can be connected to the surface of the pressurizing component 10 by bonding or hot pressing to cover the thin film sensor 20 .
[0098] The material of the packaging member 80 may include but is not limited to dense insulating materials such as thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer, thermoplastic elastomer, polyurethane (PU), nitrile rubber, and polytetrafluoroethylene.
[0099] 4 and 5 , since the connecting wires 40 are disposed outside the pressure member 10, the packaging member 80 also covers a portion of the connecting wires 40. Of course, when the connecting wires 40 are disposed inside the pressure member 10, the packaging member 80 does not cover the connecting wires 40 (not shown).
[0100] Continuing with Figures 4 and 5 , the area of the encapsulation member 80 is larger than that of the thin film sensor 20 and smaller than that of the pressurizing member 10. In other words, the encapsulation member 80 not only covers the entire thin film sensor 20, but also covers a portion of the pressurizing member 10. Of course, in some embodiments, the encapsulation member 80 may also cover the entire surface of the pressurizing member 10, as shown in Figure 6 , which is a partial cross-sectional view of the third electronic device provided in an embodiment of the present application. Alternatively, in some embodiments, the encapsulation member 80 may only cover the surface of the thin film sensor 20 (not shown).
[0101] Figure 7 is a partial cross-sectional view of a fourth electronic device provided in an embodiment of the present application. Figure 7 differs from Figure 5 in that the detection module further includes a thin film member 70, which is positioned between the pressure-applying member 10 and the thin film sensor 20. This arrangement reduces the sensitivity of the thin film sensor 20, preventing it from outputting signals due to minor changes in the measurement area, and thus reducing the probability of accidental activation of the thin film sensor 20.
[0102] Natural fluctuations in the measurement area, such as unconscious vibrations of the wrist skin, can also cause the thin film sensor 20 to output a signal. However, this signal is meaningless, so the sensitivity of the thin film sensor 20 must be controlled within a certain range. If the sensitivity of the thin film sensor 20 is too high, the natural fluctuations in the measurement area will cause the sensor 20 to output a signal. If the sensitivity of the thin film sensor 20 is too low, measurement accuracy will be affected. Therefore, by reducing the sensitivity of the thin film sensor 20 using the thin film member 70, the sensitivity of the thin film sensor 20 can be controlled within a certain range.
[0103] In the embodiment of the present application, the material of the film member 70 may include but is not limited to polyethylene naphthalate, polyethylene terephthalate, etc.
[0104] In the embodiment of the present application, there is no limitation on the specific thickness of the film 70. For example, the thickness of the film 70 may be 100 μm. The thicker the film 70 is, the greater the reduction in sensitivity of the film sensor 20.
[0105] Continuing with Figure 7 , the area of film member 70 is larger than that of film sensor 20. In other words, along the thickness direction of film sensor 20 (e.g., the X-direction in Figure 7 ), the projection of film member 70 overlaps the projection of film sensor 20. Of course, the area of film member 70 can also be equal to the area of film sensor 20 (not shown). Therefore, when the area of film member 70 is greater than or equal to that of film sensor 20, it can prevent bending of film member 70 from affecting measurement performance and reducing the sensitivity of film sensor 20.
[0106] Continuing with FIG7 , the encapsulation member 80 covers both the thin film sensor 20 and the thin film member 70. In other words, the encapsulation member 80 shields both the thin film member 70 and the thin film sensor 20. Of course, the encapsulation member 80 may also shield a portion of the thin film member 70 (not shown) while covering the thin film sensor 20.
[0107] It should be noted that since the film sensor 20 is a flexible sheet-like sensor with a thickness of less than 0.5 mm, it is best used with a hard surface, that is, with a surface harder than the film sensor 20. As shown in Figure 1 above, the film sensor 20 is flanked by a pressurized airbag and the skin at the measurement site. Since the pressurized airbag and the skin at the measurement site are both less hard than the film sensor 20, they can generate clutter signals that interfere with the film sensor 20 and / or cause the signal output by the film sensor 20 to be unstable. Therefore, using the film sensor 20 with a soft surface can reduce measurement performance. Therefore, placing a surface harder than the film sensor 20 on at least one side can reduce the sensitivity of the film sensor 20 and improve measurement performance.
[0108] In summary, in addition to placing the thin film member 70 between the thin film sensor 20 and the pressure member 10 to control the sensitivity of the thin film sensor 20 within a certain range, Figure 8 is a partial cross-sectional view of a fifth electronic device provided in an embodiment of the present application. In some embodiments, as shown in Figure 8, the thin film sensor 20 may also be placed between the pressure member 10 and the thin film member 70, and the sensitivity of the thin film sensor 20 may also be controlled within a certain range.
[0109] Alternatively, in some embodiments, the film member 70 may include a first portion and a second portion (not shown), with the first portion disposed between the pressure member 10 and the film sensor 20, and the film sensor 20 disposed between the first portion and the second portion, thereby controlling the sensitivity of the film sensor 20 within a certain range. The thickness of the first portion and the second portion may be equal, or the thickness of the first portion may be greater than the thickness of the second portion, or the thickness of the first portion may be less than the thickness of the second portion.
[0110] Of course, in addition to using the film member 70 to reduce the sensitivity of the thin film sensor 20, the film member 70 can also be removed if a material having a harder hardness than the thin film sensor 20 is provided on one side of the thin film sensor 20. For example, if the pressurized airbag has a harder hardness than the thin film sensor 20, the film member 70 can be removed while the pressurized airbag is used to reduce the sensitivity of the thin film sensor 20. Alternatively, in some embodiments, if the encapsulation member 80 has a harder hardness than the thin film sensor 20, the film member 70 can be removed while the encapsulation member 80 is used to reduce the hardness of the thin film sensor 20.
[0111] In the above description, pressure is applied to the measurement site by cooperating with the pressurized airbag and the restraining member 30. Of course, the restraining member can also be removed, and the pressurized member 10 can apply pressure to the measurement site. In some possible implementations, the pressurized member 10 can also include a pressurized airbag and a variable diameter structure (not shown in the figure), wherein the pressurized airbag has an annular structure, and the variable diameter structure is used to change the outer diameter of the pressurized airbag so that the pressurized airbag can be matched with different subjects.
[0112] Alternatively, in some possible implementations, the pressurizing element 10 may include a first structure (not shown), a second structure (not shown), and a strip-shaped pressurized airbag (not shown), with the first and second structures disposed at opposite ends of the pressurized airbag, respectively, and the first and second structures being detachably connected. During measurement, the first and second structures are connected, forming an annular structure surrounding the measurement site. Thin-film sensor 20 is then positioned between the pressurized airbag and the measurement site, allowing thin-film sensor 20 to collect pulse wave signals.
[0113] The first structure can be detachably connected to the second structure by bonding, snapping, or the like.
[0114] FIG9 is a schematic diagram of the structure of a sixth electronic device provided in an embodiment of the present application. FIG9 differs from FIG1 in that the pressure member 10 includes a clasp 60 and a restraining member 30. The first end of the restraining member 30 is fixedly connected to the clasp 60, and the second end of the restraining member 30 is in driving connection with the clasp 60. The clasp 60 and the restraining member 30 are used to form an annular structure surrounding the measuring portion and having a variable inner diameter. The thin film sensor 20 is disposed between the restraining member 30 and the measuring portion.
[0115] Accordingly, applying pressure to the measurement site through the pressure member 10 formed by the clasp 60 and the restraining member 30 simplifies the structural design of the detection module, eliminating, for example, the air pump 82, air pressure sensor 50, and other components. Furthermore, the removal of the airbag reduces the thickness of the pressure member 10. Furthermore, the variable inner diameter of the annular structure defined by the pressure member 10 enables the detection module to automatically tighten. Measurement results are unaffected by the user's initial tightness, thus avoiding measurement errors caused by wearing the device too loosely or too tightly.
[0116] Continuing with FIG9 , the binding member 30 includes a watch body 31, a first watch band 32, and a second watch band 33. The first end of the first watch band 32 and the first end of the second watch band 33 are respectively connected to opposite ends of the watch body 31, and the second end of the first watch band 32 and the second end of the second watch band 33 are respectively connected to the clasp 60. The thin film sensor 20 is disposed on the inner side of one of the first watch band 32 and the second watch band 33. For example, as shown in FIG9 , the thin film sensor 20 is disposed on the inner side of the first watch band 32. Of course, the thin film sensor 20 can also be disposed on the inner side of the second watch band 33 (not shown in the figure).
[0117] At least one of the first strap 32 and the second strap 33 can be connected to the watch body 31 by gluing, hot melting, snapping, etc.
[0118] There is no limitation on the specific materials of the first strap 32 and the second strap 33. For example, the material of at least one of the first strap 32 and the second strap 33 may include, but is not limited to, a polymer or hydrate material such as fluororubber, thermoplastic elastomer, silicone, etc.
[0119] In the embodiment of the application, the clasp 60 is used to move one of the first and second straps 32, 33 relative to the second strap 33, thereby increasing or decreasing the inner diameter of the annular structure defined by the restraining member 30, thereby applying pressure to the measurement site. For example, the second end of the first strap 32 is connected to the clasp 60, and the second end of the second strap 33 is in driving connection with the clasp 60. The clasp 60 is used to move the second end of the second strap 33 relative to the clasp 60, thereby increasing or decreasing the inner diameter of the annular structure defined by the pressure member 10.
[0120] How the clasp 60 causes the second end of the second strap 33 to move relative to the clasp 60 is not limited herein. For example, the clasp 60 includes a drive motor (not shown) and a transmission member (not shown), and the second strap 33 includes a rack (not shown). The motor shaft of the drive motor is connected to the rack via the transmission member. When the drive motor rotates, the transmission member drives the second strap 33 relative to the first strap 32, causing the inner diameter of the annular structure formed by the pressure member 10 to decrease or increase, thereby tightening or loosening the strap.
[0121] It should be noted that, in addition to the driving motor and transmission parts, the clasp 60 may also include at least one of the clasp housing (not shown in the figure), a battery (not shown in the figure), a communication module (not shown in the figure) and a control panel (not shown in the figure).
[0122] Among them, the buckle shell is used to accommodate the drive motor, transmission parts, battery, communication module and control board. The material of the buckle shell can be metal alloys such as stainless steel, aluminum alloy, zinc alloy, magnesium alloy, titanium alloy, or it can also be polymer materials such as polyamide, polycarbonate, polyformaldehyde, polybutylene terephthalate, polyphenylene ether, etc.
[0123] The battery can be a small, non-rechargeable zinc-manganese dry cell, a lithium-manganese or alkaline button cell, or a rechargeable lithium-ion battery. If the battery is a rechargeable lithium-ion battery, the clasp 60 further includes a charging port or a charging coil, and the battery is connected to the charging port or the charging coil, and the battery is charged via the charging port or the charging coil.
[0124] The communication module is used to receive external instructions to control the direction and speed of rotation of the shaft of the drive motor to achieve the function of fast / slow tightening / relaxing.
[0125] The control board receives command signals from the communication module, processes them into corresponding motor operating voltage signals, and transmits them to the drive motor. Furthermore, the control board also modulates the battery voltage and current, ensuring stable power supply to each module.
[0126] 9 , the connecting line 40 is disposed on the inner side of the first strap 32 and is used to be disposed between the measurement portion and the first strap 32. Of course, the connecting line 40 can also be disposed inside the first strap 32.
[0127] It is understandable that when the film sensor 20 is arranged on the inner side of the second strap 33, the connecting line 40 can also be arranged on the inner side of the second strap 33 (not shown in the figure) or inside the second strap 33 (not shown in the figure).
[0128] It should be noted that the electronic device shown in FIG9 may further include a thin film member 70 (not shown). The arrangement of the thin film member 70 can be described with reference to FIG7 and FIG8 . Alternatively, the hardness of the package member 80 in FIG9 or the hardness of the second strap 33 may be greater than that of the thin film sensor 20, thereby eliminating the thin film member 70.
[0129] It should also be noted that in FIG9 , because the electronic device is a smartwatch, the restraint 30 is formed by a first strap 32, a second strap 33, and a watch body 31. However, the restraint 30 may also have other structures. In some possible implementations, the restraint 30 may also be a watch strap (not shown), with opposite ends of the watch strap being connected to clasps 60, respectively. The clasps 60 are used to move one end of the watch strap relative to the other end of the watch strap, thereby increasing or decreasing the inner diameter of the annular structure formed by the pressure member 10.
