Abstract

The present invention prevents odor from leaking to the outside of underwear when urination or defecation occurs involuntarily.　Underwear 1 includes outer underpants 3, and inner underpants 2 disposed inside the outer underpants 3. A crotch part 6 provided with a water absorption layer 62 is attached to an inner surface of the inner underpants 2, and the periphery of the crotch part 6 has a waterproof structure over the entire circumference.

[0001] The present invention relates to underwear that can be worn on the lower body.

[0002] A known conventional underwear that can be worn on the lower body is one that consists of a main body and an absorbent section provided inside the main body, with the absorbent section suspended from the main body so as to be located in the front center of the main body (see Patent Document 1).

[0004] The underwear described in Patent Document 1 has an absorbent section disposed in the center of the front of the wearer (specifically, the lower abdominal side) to absorb secretions such as urine, but the back of the wearer (specifically, the buttocks side) does not have a configuration or structure equivalent to an absorbent body, and no consideration is given to feces. Furthermore, even when wearing underwear with an absorbent body, if a wearer unintentionally urinates or defecates, liquid excrement (specifically, urine, loose stool, etc.) can leak out of the underwear and cause an odor, or even if excrement does not leak out, the odor can leak out of the underwear, causing discomfort to those around them.

[0005] Therefore, in one aspect, the present invention aims to provide a technology that can prevent odors from leaking out of underwear when a person unintentionally urinates or defecates.

[0006] In order to solve the above problem, the underwear according to the present invention may comprise outer pants and inner pants arranged inside the outer pants, and a crotch portion having a water-absorbing layer attached to the inner surface of the inner pants, so that the entire periphery of the crotch portion is made waterproof.

[0007] The underwear of the present invention may be configured such that the outer pants and the inner pants are joined to each other only at the upper edges of the outer pants and the inner pants by sewing together the upper edge of the outer pants, the upper edge of the inner pants, and the lower edge of the waist elastic.

10. The inner pants have a front body and a back body, and hem openings are attached to the right lower end and the left lower end of the front body and the back body, respectively. A portion of the waterproof structure of the crotch portion, which is located near the joint between the front body and the back body and the hem opening, is formed of a fabric that is at least partially waterproofed and formed in a strip shape. The fabric in a state of being folded in half along the longitudinal direction of the strip so that the surface subjected to the waterproof treatment faces inward is attached and sewn so as to edge the end of the crotch portion, the ends of the front body and the back body, and the end of the hem opening. The underwear according to claim 1, characterized in that it is configured in this way.

11. The waterproof structure of the hem opening is formed by using a fabric that is at least partially waterproofed and formed in a strip shape. The fabric in a state of being folded in half along the longitudinal direction of the strip so that the surface subjected to the waterproof treatment faces inward is attached and sewn so as to edge the end of the opening side of the hem opening.
