Methods and electronic devices for providing information
[0001] Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to methods and devices for providing information.
[0002] As internet use becomes more widespread, the e-commerce market is expanding. While the proportion of customers visiting offline stores to purchase products is declining, the proportion of customers purchasing products through e-commerce platforms using computers or smartphones is rapidly increasing. Delivery workers can visit stores, pick up products, and then deliver them to customers.
[0003] The present disclosure is proposed to address the aforementioned issues, and the disclosed embodiments provide a method and electronic device for providing information. The technical challenges addressed by the present disclosure are not limited to the aforementioned technical challenges, and other technical challenges can be inferred from the following embodiments.
[0004] As a technical means for achieving the above-described task, a method for providing information by an electronic device according to a first aspect of the present disclosure may include: a step of confirming at least one first order for which delivery work has not been performed for a first set time or longer among orders that can be automatically assigned to a plurality of delivery workers related to a service; a step of confirming at least one second order that satisfies a set condition among the at least one first order based on information about the first delivery worker among the plurality of delivery workers and information about the at least one first order; and a step of providing a page displaying delivery information for each of the at least one second order to a terminal of the first delivery worker.
[0005] In one embodiment, when a first delivery person accepts delivery of a third order among at least one second order through a terminal, an assignment operation may be performed to assign the third order to the first delivery person.
[0006] In one embodiment, the method of providing information may further include the step of providing information indicating that the third order has been assigned to the first delivery agent and that delivery work for the third order will begin when the assignment task is completed, and the delivery information for the third order displayed on the page may be deactivated.
[0007] In one embodiment, the method of providing information may further include assigning the third order to the first delivery person if the second delivery person accepts the third order before the assignment operation is completed.
[0008] According to one embodiment, the method for providing information may further include the step of providing information to a terminal of a second delivery person indicating that the third order has been assigned to another delivery person in response to the third order being assigned to the first delivery person.
[0009] According to one embodiment, the shipping information may include shipping amount information for each of at least one second order and shipping address text information for each of at least one second order, and the shipping information may be updated periodically at a set period.
[0010] According to one embodiment, the method for providing information may further include a step of assigning a fourth order among the orders to the first delivery person based on information about the first delivery person and delivery information corresponding to the third order, when the first delivery person accepts delivery of at least one third order among the second orders through the terminal and the third order is assigned to the first delivery person, and the fourth order may be an order automatically assigned to the first delivery person among the orders.
[0011] According to one embodiment, a method for providing information may further include the steps of: checking the first delivery person's departure time information and the departure location information of the first delivery person based on the delivery history information of the first delivery person; and, if the current time is within a second set time based on the departure time information, checking a third order among at least one second order based on the departure location information, and delivery information corresponding to the third order among the delivery information may be displayed at the top of the page.
[0012] In one embodiment, the set conditions may include a first condition that filters out orders rejected by the first delivery agent among at least one first order.
[0013] In one embodiment, the set conditions may include a second condition that filters out orders corresponding to a pickup location outside a set distance from the location of the first delivery person among at least one first order.
[0014] In one embodiment, the set distance may be set individually for each of the at least one first order based on a time during which no delivery operation corresponding to each of the at least one first orders was performed.
[0015] According to one embodiment, the order in which delivery information is displayed may be determined based on at least one of: time information for which delivery work has not been performed for each of at least one second order, first distance information from the location of the first delivery person to the pickup location, second distance information from the location of the first delivery person to complete the delivery work, time information from the location of the first delivery person to complete the delivery work, and delivery amount information.
[0016] In one embodiment, the shipping amount information for a third order among the orders may be based on the number of times the third order has been rejected by multiple delivery agents.
[0017] In one embodiment, if a first delivery person is classified as a particular type of delivery person based on a history of rejecting automatically assigned orders, the page may be disabled for a third set amount of time.
[0018] An electronic device according to a second aspect of the present disclosure includes a transceiver; one or more processors; and a storage storing one or more commands executed by the one or more processors, wherein the one or more processors, by executing the one or more commands, can identify at least one first order for which no delivery work has been performed for a first set time or longer among orders automatically assignable to a plurality of delivery personnel related to a service, and, based on information about the first delivery personnel among the plurality of delivery personnel and information about the at least one first order, identify at least one second order that satisfies a set condition among the at least one first order, and provide a page displaying delivery information for each of the at least one second order to a terminal of the first delivery personnel.
[0019] A recording medium according to the third aspect of the present disclosure may be a non-transitory computer-readable recording medium having recorded thereon a program for executing a method of providing information performed by an electronic device on a computer.
[0020] According to the proposed embodiment, one or more of the following effects can be expected.
[0021] According to embodiments of this specification, the electronic device can automatically assign one of the orders within the service to a delivery person, or assign an order to a delivery person in response to the delivery person's acceptance input through a page provided to the delivery person. This can minimize idle time for multiple delivery people associated with the service.
[0022] Additionally, according to embodiments of the present disclosure, the electronic device can provide a page displaying optimized delivery information for orders that have not been delivered for a set period of time. This can quickly resolve the backlog of delivery tasks for older orders within the service.

These computer program instructions can also be stored in a computer-available or computer-readable memory that can direct a computer or other programmable data processing equipment to implement the functions in a specific manner, so that the instructions stored in the computer-available or computer-readable memory can also produce a manufactured item that includes an instruction means for performing the functions described in the flow diagram block(s). Since the computer program instructions may be installed on a computer or other programmable data processing device, a series of operational steps may be performed on the computer or other programmable data processing device to create a computer-executable process, and the instructions that cause the computer or other programmable data processing device to perform the steps for performing the functions described in the flowchart block(s) may also provide steps for performing the functions described in the flowchart block(s).
[0042] Additionally, each block may represent a module, segment, or portion of code that contains one or more executable instructions for performing a specific logical function(s). It should also be noted that in some alternative implementation examples, the functions described in the blocks may occur out of order. For example, two blocks depicted in succession may actually be executed substantially concurrently, or the blocks may sometimes be executed in reverse order, depending on their respective functions.
[0043] Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the attached drawings.
[0044] FIG. 1 is a diagram illustrating a system in which a method for providing information by an electronic device according to one embodiment can be implemented.
[0045] Referring to FIG. 1, a system (10) according to various embodiments may be a system for providing information. The system (10) may include an electronic device (100), a delivery terminal (110), a store terminal (120), and a user terminal (130). The system (10) illustrated in FIG. 1 only illustrates components related to the present embodiment. Therefore, those skilled in the art related to the present embodiment will understand that, in addition to the components illustrated in FIG. 1, other general-purpose components may be further included.
[0046] Each of the electronic device (100), the delivery terminal (110), the store terminal (120), and the user terminal (130) may include a transceiver, storage, and a processor. In addition, each of the electronic device (100), the delivery terminal (110), the store terminal (120), and the user terminal (130) refers to a unit that processes at least one function or operation, which may be implemented by hardware, software, or a combination of hardware and software. Meanwhile, throughout the embodiments, each of the electronic device (100), the delivery terminal (110), the store terminal (120), and the user terminal (130) is referred to as a separate device or server, but this may be a logically divided structure, and at least some of them may be implemented by a separate function in one device or server.
[0047] According to one embodiment, the electronic device (100), the delivery terminal (110), the store terminal (120), and the user terminal (130) may include a plurality of computer systems or computer software implemented as network servers. For example, at least some of the electronic device (100), the delivery terminal (110), the store terminal (120), and the user terminal (130) may be connected to a lower device that can communicate with another network server through a computer network such as an intranet or the Internet, and may refer to a computer system and computer software that receive a task execution request, performs the task accordingly, and provides the execution result. In addition, at least some of the electronic device (100), the delivery terminal (110), the store terminal (120), and the user terminal (130) may be understood as a broad concept that includes a series of application programs that can operate on a network server, and various databases built on internal or connected other nodes. For example, at least some of the electronic device (100), delivery terminal (110), store terminal (120), and user terminal (130) may be implemented using a network server program provided in various ways according to an operating system such as DOS, Windows, Linux, UNIX, or MacOS.
[0048] The electronic device (100), the delivery terminal (110), the store terminal (120), and the user terminal (130) can communicate with each other through a network (not shown). The network includes a local area network (LAN), a wide area network (WAN), a value-added network (VAN), a mobile radio communication network, a satellite communication network, and a combination thereof, and is a comprehensive data communication network that enables each network component shown in FIG. 1 to communicate smoothly with each other, and may include wired Internet, wireless Internet, and a mobile radio communication network. Wireless communication may include, but is not limited to, wireless LAN (Wi-Fi), Bluetooth, Bluetooth low energy, Zigbee, Wi-Fi Direct (WFD), ultra wideband (UWB), infrared communication (IrDA, infrared Data Association), NFC (Near Field Communication), etc., for example.
[0049] According to one embodiment, the electronic device (100) may check at least one first order for which delivery work has not been performed for a first set time or longer among orders that can be automatically assigned to a plurality of delivery workers related to a service, and, based on information about the first delivery worker among the plurality of delivery workers and information about the at least one first order, check at least one second order that satisfies a set condition among the at least one first order, and provide a page displaying delivery information for each of the at least one second order to the delivery worker terminal (110) of the first delivery worker. Here, the service may be a web service or an app service provided by the electronic device (100). The service may be an e-commerce-related service or a food delivery service, but is not limited thereto.
[0050] According to one embodiment, the user terminal (130) may be a terminal of a customer who has ordered an item through a web service or app service provided by the electronic device (100). When a customer transmits an order for an item sold at a specific store through the user terminal (130), the electronic device (100) may transmit a message to the store terminal (120) regarding whether the order has been accepted. In response to receiving a response regarding acceptance of the order from the store terminal (120), the electronic device (100) may provide a message to the user terminal (130) indicating that the order has been received.
[0051] According to one embodiment, the electronic device (100) may search for and assign a delivery agent to perform delivery work for a corresponding order among a plurality of delivery agents related to the service in order to deliver an item to a customer corresponding to a user terminal (130). A method for assigning a delivery agent to perform delivery work for a corresponding order among a plurality of delivery agents related to the service may include: i) a first method in which an order is automatically assigned to one of the plurality of delivery agents related to the service and the delivery agent accepts the order; and ii) a second method in which, when the corresponding order is an order for which delivery work has not been performed for a set period of time or longer, the order is accepted by a delivery agent who has been provided with a page including delivery information for the corresponding order. In the present specification, an order for which delivery work has not been performed for a set period of time or longer among orders that can be automatically assigned to a plurality of delivery agents related to the service may be referred to as a pending order.
[0052] According to one embodiment, according to the embodiments of the present specification, orders can be dispatched to delivery personnel not only by one of the first and second methods, but also by both the first and second methods. Specifically, a delivery personnel who accepts an automatically assigned order can accept any one of the pending orders displayed on the page without having to change the dispatch method from the first method to the second method in a separate settings menu. Furthermore, a delivery personnel who accepts any one of the pending orders displayed on the page can also accept the automatically assigned order on the same page without having to change the dispatch method from the second method to the first method in a separate settings menu. In other words, by accepting any one of the pending orders displayed on the page, a delivery personnel can appropriately utilize idle time or commuting time when orders are not automatically assigned appropriately to perform delivery work for the pending orders. Furthermore, through the first and second methods, each order within the service can be quickly dispatched to a delivery personnel suitable for delivering the order.
[0053] Figure 2 is a flowchart illustrating how an electronic device provides information.
[0054] Referring to FIG. 2, it can be clearly understood that some of the operations in which the electronic device (100) provides information may be changed or substituted, or some of the order between the operations may be changed, within a range clearly understandable to a person having ordinary skill in the art to which the present invention pertains.
[0055] In step S210, the electronic device (100) can identify at least one first order among orders that can be automatically assigned to multiple delivery agents related to the service, for which delivery work has not been performed for a first set time or longer.
[0056] According to one embodiment, each automatically assignable order within the service may be automatically assigned to one of a plurality of delivery agents associated with the service based on established criteria. The established criteria may include, but are not limited to, a first criterion for assigning an order to a delivery agent predicted to be highly likely to accept an order among the plurality of delivery agents associated with the service, or a second criterion for assigning an order to a delivery agent predicted to have the highest hourly sales from the current location until the order is delivered. When an order is automatically assigned to a delivery agent based on the established criteria, a prompt indicating whether to accept the order may be displayed on the delivery agent's terminal. For example, if the delivery agent inputs acceptance, the order may be assigned to the delivery agent. Conversely, if the delivery agent inputs rejection, the order may not be assigned to the delivery agent. If the order is not assigned to the delivery agent, the order may be automatically reassigned to any of the remaining delivery agents excluding the delivery agent. The process of automatically assigning an order to one of multiple delivery agents associated with the service may be repeated until the order is accepted by a delivery agent.
[0057] According to one embodiment, the electronic device (100) may first check a pending order within the service to provide a page displaying delivery information for the pending order to the first delivery person. In this regard, the electronic device (100) may check at least one first order, among orders that can be automatically assigned to multiple delivery people associated with the service, for which delivery work has not been performed for a first set period of time or longer. In the present specification, the first order may correspond to an order within the service for which delivery work has not been performed for a set period of time or longer. In other words, the first order may correspond to a pending order within the service for which delivery work has not been performed.
[0058] An order for which delivery work has not been performed for more than the first set time may be, but is not limited to, i) an order for which the delivery person has not been assigned for more than the first set time from the time when the preparation of the item corresponding to the order has been completed or is scheduled to be completed at the store, or ii) an order for which the delivery person has not been assigned for more than the first set time from the time when the order has been received at the store corresponding to the order.
[0059] In step S220, the electronic device (100) can identify at least one second order that satisfies a set condition among at least one first order based on information about a first delivery person among a plurality of delivery people and information about at least one first order.
[0060] According to one embodiment, the electronic device (100) may identify at least one second order that satisfies a set condition among the pending orders within the service based on various information. According to one embodiment, the at least one second order identified as satisfying the set condition may be a pending order that is highly likely to be accepted by the first delivery person among the pending orders within the service, or a pending order that the first delivery person can deliver through an efficient route among the pending orders within the service, but is not limited thereto. In the present specification, the second order may be an order that satisfies the set condition among the pending orders within the service, and may be an order displayed on a page provided to the delivery person's terminal. In other words, the second order may represent an order that is suitable for the delivery person to perform a delivery task among the pending orders within the service.
[0061] In one embodiment, the set conditions may include a first condition that filters out orders rejected by the first delivery agent among at least one first order. Specifically, providing delivery information for pending orders that were automatically assigned to the first delivery agent but were rejected by the first delivery agent back to the first delivery agent may not be optimal from the perspective of the first delivery agent's experience. Furthermore, pending orders rejected by the first delivery agent may have a low probability of being accepted by the first delivery agent, so filtering out orders rejected by the first delivery agent among the orders within the service may be appropriate.
[0062] In one embodiment, the set conditions may include a second condition that filters out orders corresponding to pickup locations outside a set distance from the location of the first delivery agent among at least one first order. Specifically, orders corresponding to pickup locations outside a set distance from the location of the first delivery agent may have a lower probability of being accepted by the first delivery agent, and dispatching them to a delivery agent other than the first delivery agent may be more efficient. In other words, it may be appropriate to filter out orders corresponding to pickup locations outside a set distance from the location of the first delivery agent.
[0063] However, for special cases where the pickup and delivery locations for pending orders within the service are located outside the service, including cases where the pickup and delivery locations are relatively far from the locations of multiple delivery agents associated with the service, delivery agents may not be smoothly assigned to the pending orders using either the first automatic assignment method or the second automatic assignment method. Therefore, to expose the pending orders to multiple delivery agents, a set distance may be individually set for each pending order. For example, the set distance may be determined based on the elapsed time since the preparation of the items for each pending order was completed at the store. For example, if the elapsed time is greater than or equal to a first hour (e.g., 15 minutes) and less than or equal to a second hour (e.g., 20 minutes), the set distance may be determined as the first distance (e.g., 5 km). Furthermore, for example, if the elapsed time is greater than or equal to a second hour (e.g., 20 minutes) and less than or equal to a third hour (e.g., 25 minutes), the set distance may be determined as the second distance (e.g., 7 km). That is, the longer the time elapsed from the time the item is ready at the store, the longer the set distance can be determined to be.
[0064] In step S230, the electronic device (100) can provide a page displaying delivery information for each of at least one second order to the terminal of the first delivery person.
[0065] According to one embodiment, the shipping information may include shipping price information and shipping address text information for each of at least one second order. Specifically, the shipping information may include, but is not limited to, store name information, shipping price information, shipping address text information, first distance information from the location of the first delivery agent to the pickup location, and second distance information from the location of the first delivery agent to the completion of the delivery task for each of at least one second order. For example, the shipping information may further include information on the time required for each of at least one second order to be delivered from the location of the first delivery agent to the completion of the delivery task.
[0066] According to one embodiment, the order in which shipping information is displayed may be determined based on, but is not limited to, i) the time elapsed from the time when the preparation of the item is completed at the store, and ii) the sales per hour from the current location of the first delivery agent to the time when the delivery task for the order is completed. For example, the order in which shipping information for each of at least one second order is displayed may be determined based on at least one of the following: time information during which a delivery task for each of at least one second order has not been performed, first distance information from the location of the first delivery agent to the pickup location, second distance information from the location of the first delivery agent to the time when the delivery task is completed, time information from the location of the first delivery agent to the time when the delivery task is completed, and shipping amount information. Specifically, an order with a high sales per hour calculated based on the first distance information, the second distance information, the time information, and the shipping amount information may be displayed at the top of the page. Additionally, based on the time information, an order with a long time elapsed from the time when the preparation of the item is completed at the store may be displayed at the top of the page.
[0067] According to one embodiment, the order in which delivery information is displayed may be set based on the delivery history of the first delivery person. Specifically, delivery information for an order predicted to have a high probability of being accepted by the first delivery person based on the delivery history of the first delivery person may be displayed at the top of the page. For example, the electronic device (100) may i) check the first delivery person's leaving work time information and the first delivery person's leaving work location information based on the delivery history information of the first delivery person, and ii) if the current time is within a second set time based on the leaving work time information, the electronic device (100) may check a third order among at least one second order based on the leaving work location information. The third order checked by the electronic device (100) may be an order received at a time when the first delivery person usually leaves work and an order to a delivery location corresponding to the location information where the first delivery person usually leaves work. In this regard, among the delivery information displayed on the page, the delivery information corresponding to the third order may be displayed at the top of the page. That is, by displaying delivery information for orders identified based on the delivery agent's delivery history information at the top of the page, delivery agents can accept orders displayed at the top of the page and more efficiently utilize idle time or commuting time when orders are not automatically allocated appropriately.
[0068] Figure 3 is a drawing for explaining a service-related page displayed on a delivery person's terminal.
[0069] Referring to FIG. 3, the page (300) may include a gamified area (302) to enable delivery personnel to actively accept orders within the service and perform delivery tasks. In this regard, the gamified area (302) may display information regarding the current missions the delivery personnel can accomplish and the benefits they will receive upon completing the missions.
[0070] Area (301) of page (300) may be an area for setting current status information of a delivery agent, such as whether the delivery agent is available for delivery work. In this regard, an "on" setting in area (301) may indicate that the delivery agent is willing to perform delivery work, and at least some of the service-related orders may be dispatched to the delivery agent via the first method and the second method. Conversely, an "off" setting in area (301) may indicate that the delivery agent is not willing to perform delivery work, and service-related orders may not be dispatched to the delivery agent.
[0071] According to one embodiment, the electronic device (100) may provide a page (310) displaying delivery information for at least one second order to a delivery person whose area (301) is 'on', but is not limited thereto. The electronic device (100) may also provide a page (310) displaying delivery information for at least one second order to a delivery person whose area (301) is 'off', to a delivery person whose area (301) is 'off'. Accordingly, a delivery person whose area (301) is 'off' can search for delivery information for at least one second order and identify an order suitable for delivery. Accordingly, the electronic device (100) may increase the efficiency of the delivery person's delivery work, while inducing the delivery person to change the area (301) from 'off' to 'on' and initiate the delivery work.
[0072] According to one embodiment, if the delivery person's action of the area (301) being 'off' satisfies the set condition, the electronic device (100) may provide the delivery person's terminal with an interface for changing the area (301) from 'off' to 'on'. For example, when the delivery person's input through the area (303) for applying for mission participation is received, the electronic device (100) may provide the delivery person's terminal with an interface for changing the area (301) from 'off' to 'on'. As another example, when the delivery person searches for information on at least one second order through the tab for pending orders for a set period of time or more, the electronic device (100) may provide the delivery person's terminal with an interface for changing the area (301) from 'off' to 'on'. However, the set condition is not limited to the above embodiment.
[0073] Page (310) may display delivery information for at least one second order searched based on the current location of the delivery person. Specifically, delivery information for at least one second order may be displayed in area (312). For example, referring to area (312), delivery information for store A selling cold noodles among at least one second order may include store name information 'A', location information of store A 'Building B', distance information from the current location of the delivery person to store A '1.3km', road name address information of the delivery destination 'C-daero ***D Apartment', delivery amount information '3,500 won', distance information from the current location of the delivery person to the delivery destination via store A '2.3km', and information on whether the item has been prepared at store A 'Cooking complete'. In addition, page (310) may display the phrase (311) 'This order can be viewed simultaneously with other delivery partners'. Specifically, the pending order displayed on the page (310) provided to the delivery person may also be displayed on a pending order-related page provided to other delivery people, and may be automatically assigned to other delivery people at a similar time. According to one embodiment, in response to receiving an acceptance input from the delivery person through the area (313), the electronic device (100) may provide a pop-up page (e.g., bottom sheet) related to the acceptance of the order corresponding to the acceptance input to the delivery person's terminal. The pop-up page will be described in detail with reference to FIG. 4.
[0074] Figure 4 is a diagram illustrating a page according to which an assignment task is performed and an order is assigned to a delivery person.
[0075] Page (400) may be a page provided to the delivery person's terminal in response to the delivery person's acceptance input being received through area (312). Referring to FIG. 4, page (400) may be provided to the delivery person's terminal in the form of a bottom sheet, but is not limited thereto.
[0076] When an input for the delivery person's work cancellation (undo) is received through the area (401) of the page (400), the electronic device (100) can re-provide a page (e.g., page (320)) displaying delivery information for the pending order to the delivery person's terminal. At this time, the pending order displayed on the page re-provided to the terminal can be re-searched based on the information at the time of input regarding the work cancellation.
[0077] When a delivery person's acceptance input is received through the area (402) of the page (400), the electronic device (100) may perform an assignment operation to assign the order to the delivery person. If there is no other delivery person who has accepted the order, the order may be assigned to the delivery person immediately. However, if another delivery person's acceptance input is received before or after the time when the delivery person's acceptance input is received, the order may be assigned to either the delivery person or the other delivery person. Specifically, if another delivery person has accepted the order while the delivery person's acceptance input is received through the area (402) and the assignment operation is being performed, but the assignment operation has not yet been completed, the delivery person may have accepted the order before the other delivery person. In this case, the order may be assigned to the delivery person.
[0078] Page (410) may be a page provided to a delivery person's terminal when an order has been assigned to a delivery person. Specifically, a section (411) of page (410) may display the phrase "Order accepted. Start delivery!", which may indicate that the order has been assigned to a delivery person. Specifically, when the assignment process is completed and the order is assigned to a delivery person, the electronic device (100) may provide information indicating that the order has been assigned to the delivery person and that delivery work for the order will begin. Additionally, the electronic device (100) may provide information to the terminals of other delivery people to whom orders have not been assigned, indicating that the order has been assigned to another delivery person.
[0079] In one embodiment, the delivery person can set the cancellation of the order through the area (412) for the dispatch termination setting. Specifically, when the delivery person's input through the area (412) is confirmed, the electronic device (100) can provide the delivery person with information about the penalty for canceling the pending order after accepting it (e.g., not being able to accept orders through the page related to the pending order for a certain period of time), thereby giving the delivery person an opportunity to reconsider the cancellation of the order. The route (413) displayed on the map on the page (410) can correspond to the optimal route from the delivery person's current location to the location of the store corresponding to the accepted order or to the pickup location.
[0080] Page (420) may be a page related to pending orders displayed on a delivery person's terminal after the order has been assigned to the delivery person. Since the order for Store E, which sells pig's feet, has been assigned to the delivery person, the area (421) corresponding to delivery information for Store E displayed on page (420) may be deactivated. That is, even if the delivery person physically clicks the icon (422) through the terminal, the electronic device (100) may not receive an acceptance input for the order and may again provide information indicating that the order has been closed. Similarly, as the order has been assigned to the delivery person, the area corresponding to delivery information for Store E within the page related to pending orders provided to the terminals of other delivery persons may also be deactivated in real time.
[0081] Figure 5 is a diagram illustrating a page where an assignment task is performed and an order is assigned to a delivery agent other than the delivery agent. A detailed description of the assignment task, which overlaps with Figure 4, will be omitted.
[0082] Page (500) may be a page provided to a delivery person's terminal in response to receiving a delivery person's acceptance input through area (312). When a delivery person's acceptance input is received through area (501) of page (500), the electronic device (100) may perform an assignment task to assign the corresponding order to the delivery person. If there is no other delivery person who has accepted the corresponding order, the corresponding order may be assigned to the delivery person immediately. However, if another delivery person's acceptance input is received before or after the time when the delivery person's acceptance input is received, the corresponding order may be assigned to either the delivery person or the other delivery person. Specifically, the delivery person's acceptance input through area (501) may be received at a time when another delivery person has first accepted the order, and the assignment task for assigning the order to the other delivery person has not yet been completed. In other words, since another delivery person may have accepted the order before the delivery person, the order may be assigned to the other delivery person first.
[0083] Page (510) may be a page provided to the delivery person's terminal when an order is assigned to another delivery person, rather than to the delivery person. Specifically, the phrase "Another person accepted first" may be displayed in area (511) of page (510). Specifically, the electronic device (100) may provide information indicating that the order has been assigned to another delivery person to the delivery person's terminal.
[0084] When a delivery person's input is received through the area (512) of the page (510) or a set time (e.g., 5 seconds) has elapsed from the time when the page (510) is provided to the delivery person's terminal, a page (520) related to a pending order may be provided to the delivery person's terminal. Although the order has not been assigned to the delivery person, since the order has been completely assigned to another delivery person, the area (521) corresponding to delivery information for store E within the page (520) related to the pending order provided to the delivery person's terminal may be deactivated in real time. That is, even if the delivery person physically clicks the icon (522) through the terminal, the electronic device (100) may not receive an acceptance input for the order and may again provide information indicating that the order has been closed.
[0085] FIG. 6 is a diagram illustrating an operation in which shipping information for at least one second order displayed on a page is updated.
[0086] According to one embodiment, in response to a request from a delivery person's terminal for a page displaying delivery information for a pending order, the electronic device (100) may provide a page (600) to the delivery person's terminal. At least one second order displayed on the page (600) may include an order for store O selling yogurt and an order for store S selling salad. In this regard, an area (601) of the page (600) may display store name information 'O', location information of store O 'P-dong', distance information from the delivery person's current location to store O '1.3km', road name address information of the delivery destination 'Q-daero ***R Apartment', delivery amount information '3,500 won', distance information from the delivery person's current location to the delivery destination via store O '2.3km', and information on whether the item is ready at store O 'Cooking complete'. Additionally, the order for Store O, which sells yogurt, may not have been assigned to a delivery person yet, so the icon for order acceptance may be active.
[0087] In one embodiment, the shipping information for at least one second order displayed on the page may be updated periodically (e.g., every 30 seconds). In this regard, the area (602) of the page (600) may display the phrase "Automatically update after 29 seconds."
[0088] The second order displayed in area (601) may be assigned to another delivery person related to the service, and the page (610) may correspond to the updated page (600). In this regard, the delivery information for the second order displayed in area (611) of page (610) may be deactivated, and the phrase "automatically updating" may be displayed in area (612) of page (610). Specifically, the delivery information for the second order displayed in area (611) of page (610) may be displayed in a different color than the delivery information for other pending orders, and the icon for order acceptance in area (601) may be changed to an icon for closing in area (611). In addition, since the icon for closing in area (611) is deactivated, even if the delivery person physically clicks area (611) through the terminal, the electronic device (100) may not receive an input for accepting the order.
[0089] The delivery information for at least the second order displayed on page (600) may be periodically updated whenever a set period of time elapses from the time the page (600) is provided to the delivery person's terminal. In this regard, updated delivery information for at least one second order may be displayed on page (620). Specifically, as the set period of time elapses, some of the at least one second order may be assigned to another delivery person, and new second orders may be identified. Furthermore, if the location of the delivery person changes over the set period of time, the order in which the at least one second order is displayed on page (620) may also change. Accordingly, unlike page (600), the second orders displayed at the top of page (620) may include an order for Store A, which sells naengmyeon (cold noodles), an order for Store E, which sells jokbal (pig's feet), and an order for Store I, which sells gopchang (tripe).
[0090] Figure 7 is a diagram illustrating a case where one of the orders within the service is automatically assigned to a delivery person when the delivery person accepts an order through a page and the order is assigned to the delivery person.
[0091] As discussed above, an order that is completely assigned to a delivery person may be assigned by either of the following methods: i) a first method in which an order is automatically assigned to a delivery person by an electronic device (100) and the delivery person accepts the order; or ii) a second method in which the delivery person accepts the order based on delivery information for at least one second order displayed on the page. In this regard, even if an order is completely assigned to a delivery person by the second method and the delivery work for the order has not yet been completed, a specific order may be automatically assigned to the delivery person.
[0092] According to one embodiment, an order automatically assigned to a delivery person may be an optimal order for the delivery person calculated based on various information such as delivery information for an already assigned order and the current location information of the delivery person. In this regard, when the delivery person accepts delivery of at least one second order through the delivery person's terminal and the order is assigned to the delivery person, the electronic device (100) may assign a specific order from among the automatically assignable orders within the service to the delivery person based on information about the delivery person, pickup location information corresponding to the assigned order, and delivery information (e.g., delivery address information) corresponding to the third order. The specific order is an order automatically assigned to the delivery person from among the automatically assignable orders within the service, and may be an efficient order when performing delivery work together with an already assigned order.
[0093] Page (700) may be displayed on the terminal of a delivery person who has completed the assignment of a pending order, and may display delivery information for automatically assigned orders. Unlike pending orders, delivery information for automatically assigned orders may be relatively simple. In this regard, the delivery information for automatically assigned orders displayed on page (700) may include the location of the store on a map, the location of the delivery destination, information on the distance to complete the delivery, and information on the delivery amount. In other words, the page displaying delivery information for pending orders may display more detailed delivery information than for automatically assigned orders, such as specific delivery destination text information. This may be intended to encourage delivery persons to actively accept pending orders.
[0094] Additionally, in the present specification, the number of stores corresponding to orders automatically assigned to delivery personnel or waiting orders is not limited to one, and may be multiple. Referring to page (600), there may be a total of two stores corresponding to automatically assigned orders, Store B and Store C, and there may also be two delivery locations corresponding to automatically assigned orders. In this regard, an area (702) of page (700) may indicate that the guided order (e.g., Store B -> Store C -> Delivery location for Store B -> Delivery location for Store C) must be followed, and that failure to do so may result in store waiting and delays.
[0095] An automatically assigned order may be accepted or rejected by the delivery person depending on various factors such as the current delivery status of the delivery person. For example, when an input from the delivery person is received through an area (701) for acceptance or rejection of a page (700), the electronic device (100) may provide the delivery person's terminal with a page (710) displaying delivery information for the pending order, which is the previous screen. As another example, when an input (e.g., slide input) from the delivery person is received through an area (703) related to order acceptance of a page (700), orders for store b and store c may be completely assigned to the delivery person. That is, a delivery person who has accepted an order for store a among the pending orders displayed on the page may accept orders for store b and store c that were automatically assigned on the same page without having to change the dispatch method from the second method to the first method in a separate setting menu. As orders for store b and store c are assigned to delivery personnel, the electronic device (100) may calculate an optimal route for performing delivery work for the waiting orders and the automatically assigned orders together based on delivery information for previously accepted waiting orders, delivery information for automatically assigned orders, and location information for delivery personnel. The calculated optimal route may be a route that moves in the following order: store a corresponding to the waiting orders, store b, store c, a delivery location corresponding to store b, a delivery location corresponding to store c, and a delivery location corresponding to store a. In this regard, page (720) may display information about the calculated optimal route along with a phrase indicating that the automatically assigned orders have been assigned.
[0096] The electronic device (100) can automatically assign the optimal order among automatically assignable orders within the service to a delivery person who has accepted a pending order, and can provide an optimal route to the delivery person who has accepted both the pending order and the automatically assigned order. Accordingly, the delivery person can record higher hourly sales compared to other delivery people.
[0097] FIG. 8 is a diagram illustrating an operation of disabling a page containing delivery information for a pending order when a delivery person is classified as a specific type of delivery person.
[0098] In one embodiment, the shipping cost information for pending orders tends to be higher than that for regular orders. Furthermore, unlike automatic assignment of orders to delivery personnel, delivery personnel can randomly accept one of the pending orders on the page displaying the shipping information for the pending orders. For this reason, at least some delivery personnel associated with the service may prefer to accept pending orders through the page displaying the shipping information for pending orders rather than automatically assigning orders.
[0099] According to one embodiment, the shipping price information corresponding to a delivery may be adaptively determined based on various information, such as the current location of the delivery person, the location of the store, the location of the delivery destination, the number of delivery people performing delivery work within the service, the number of orders within the service, the current time, and whether it is a peak time. Furthermore, the shipping price information corresponding to a delivery may also be adaptively determined based on the delivery person's actions within the service (e.g., accepting or rejecting an order). For example, the shipping price information for an order for a store with a high probability of delivery people accepting an order may be optimized to be lower. Alternatively, the shipping price information for an order for a store with a low probability of delivery people accepting an order may be optimized to be higher.
[0100] This optimization of shipping cost information can also be applied at the individual order level. For example, the shipping cost information for an order may be based on the number of times the order has been rejected by multiple delivery drivers associated with the service. For example, if a specific order has been automatically assigned to one of the multiple delivery drivers associated with the service, but that delivery driver refuses to accept the order, the shipping cost information for that order may be optimized to increase. However, if a delivery driver who prefers to accept pending orders through a page displaying shipping information for pending orders rather than automatically assigned orders repeatedly refuses to accept orders that have been automatically assigned, the shipping cost information for that order may be distorted.
[0101] According to one embodiment, to prevent distortion of delivery fee information, the electronic device (100) may classify a delivery person as a specific type of delivery person and impose a predetermined penalty if the delivery person's action on the service satisfies a set condition. Here, the set condition may be, but is not limited to, refusing orders that are automatically assigned to a delivery person currently using the service online more than a set number of times (e.g., three times). The set condition may be any condition for preventing distorted delivery person actions on the service. In addition, the predetermined penalty may be, but is not limited to, deactivating the page displaying delivery information for pending orders provided to the delivery person for a set period of time (e.g., one hour). The delivery fee information for an order corresponding to the action of a delivery person classified as a specific type of delivery person may be changed to a normal delivery fee. Specifically, the normal delivery fee may be calculated by subtracting the increased delivery fee due to the action of a delivery person classified as a specific type of delivery person from the current distorted delivery fee.
[0102] Referring to FIG. 8, when a delivery person's input for acceptance or rejection of an order is received through an area (801) of a page (800), the electronic device (100) may provide a page (810) displaying delivery information for a pending order. However, upon receiving an input from the delivery person through the area (801), it may be confirmed that the delivery person's action in the service satisfies a set condition, and accordingly, the area within the page (810) may be deactivated. That is, even if the delivery person physically clicks on the icon for acceptance of an order within the page (810), the electronic device (100) may not receive an input for acceptance of the order.
