[0018] FIGs. 8 –9 are flowcharts representation of methods for wireless communication in accordance with one or more embodiments of the present technology.DETAILED DESCRIPTION

[0019] Headings for the various sections below are used to facilitate the understanding of the disclosed subject matter and do not limit the scope of the claimed subject matter in any way. Accordingly, one or more features of one section can be combined with one or more features of another section. Furthermore, 5G, 6G or coherent joint transmission (CJT) terminology is used for clarity of explanation. Still, the techniques disclosed in the present document are not limited to 5G, 6G or CJT technology only and may be used in wireless systems that implement other protocols.

[0020] In a CJT scenario, the transmission from a different TRP may be with a different delay offset or frequency offset. Typically, in a downlink (DL) transmission, channel state information (CSI) reporting is configured, and a number of channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS) resources are configured. When a wireless device, such as a user equipment  (UE) receives this CSI reporting configuration, the UE will measure the related CSI resource and report the related information according to the configured CSI-RS or synchronization signal and physical broadcast channel (PBCH) block.

[0021] According to FIG. 1, in the transmission of a CJT, two or more TRPs may transmit the same PDSCH to one UE on the same time domain and frequency domain resources. For aperiodic CSI reporting, one or more CSI-RS resources may be configured, resulting in the related reference signal received power (RSRP) , signal-to-noise and interference ratio (SINR) , or other CSI related quantities to be reported.

[0022] Typically, in CJT a number of CSI-RS resources may be configured, during which the UE may receive and measure the related CSI-RS resources, resulting in the CSI quantity about codebook related parameters to be reported. However, in certain CJT scenarios, the delay or frequency offset may be misaligned for different TRPs. Further, in a transmission scenario with multiple transmission and reception points (multi-TRPs) , the UE receives a PDSCH from the multiple TRPs. However, the Doppler and delay related parameters from different TRPs may be different. For a single frequency network (SFN) or a CJT, two TRPs may transmit the same or jointly transmit the PDSCH, especially in instances using the same PDSCH. Moreover, the g-NodeB (gNB) side will require the related Doppler or delay information, which can trigger problems such as whether and how to inform the gNB, the related Doppler and delay information.

[0023] The proposed methods and schemes in the current application are beneficial to allow a UE to receive a CSI reporting configuration, where a number of CSI-RS resource sets may be configured, and the UE measures the configured CSI-RS resources from the configured resource sets to report a number of CSI quantities comprising of a frequency offset or a delay offset. Further, such proposed methods and schemes can be implemented without changing the feature for protocol compatibility.

[0024] The details of the proposed methods will be discussed in the following embodiments.

[0025] Embodiment 1

[0026] This section discloses, among other things, examples of transmitting and receiving a CSI reporting configuration between a network entity and a wireless device. Here, the wireless device can be a user equipment (UE) .

[0027] For example, a UE may receive a CSI reporting configuration where the number of CSI-RS resource groups is configured and the UE measures the configured CSI-RS resources from the configured CSI-RS resource groups to report a number of CSI quantities. In some examples, the CSI quantities may comprise of at least a frequency offset or a delay offset.

[0028] Additionally, the UE may report the CSI quantity of frequency offset or delay offset where the number of CSI-RS resource groups for one CSI reporting is 1, and the number of CSI-RS resources is configured in the CSI-RS resource set.

[0029] Here, the number of CSI-RS resources within the CSI-RS resource group may be divided or associated with a number of resource groups. For example, an equal number of CSI-RS resources configured in each group may be associated with the same TCI state. Thus, the quasi co-located (QCL) related information or the reference signal associated with the TCI state is the same for the CSI-RS resources in one resource group or set. In other words, the CSI-RS resources in one group are QCLed with the same reference signal in one TCI state.

[0030] Further, the CSI-RS resource within one resource group may be configured with the same interval for neighboring CSI-RS resources. Alternatively, another interval may be configured for the neighboring CSI-RS resource groups.

[0031] In one example of CSI reporting, as shown in FIG. 2A, if two resource groups are configured and a number of eight resources are configured within the resource groups, then CSI-RS resources 0, 2, 4, and 6 can be configured as CSI-RS resource group 1 and CSI-RS resources 1, 3, 5, and 7 can be configured as CSI-RS resource group 2.

[0032] Additionally, an interval of neighboring resources within the resource group can be configured as m1. In another example, an interval of the neighboring resources in one group may be configured as m2, and another interval of the neighboring resource groups may be configured as m3. Here, the interval of m2 may be the same for different resource groups. In another example, as illustrated in FIG. 2B, the CSI-RS resources in one CSI-RS resource group may be configured with the neighboring indexes. For example, if two resource groups are configured and a number of eight resources are configured within the resource groups, then the neighboring CSI-RS resources 0, 1, 2, and 3 may be configured as CSI-RS resource group 1 and neighboring CSI-RS resources 4, 5, 6, and 7 may be configured as CSI-RS resource group 2. Here, an interval of the neighboring resources of one resource group can be  configured as m1. In another example, an interval of the neighboring resources in one group may be configured as m2, and another interval of the neighboring resource groups may be configured as m3. Here, the interval of m2 can be the same for different CSI-RS resource groups.

[0033] The resources in one CSI-RS resource set with different indexes can be divided into a number of groups with a comb mapping among these groups.

[0034] Embodiment 2

[0035] This section discloses, among other things, examples of configuring a number of CSI-RS resource group for one reporting, with each resource group being associated with one TCI state for one TRP.

[0036] Here, the QCL related information or the reference signal associated with the TCI state should be the same for the CSI-RS resources within one resource group. In other words, the CSI-RS resources in one set or group are QCLed with one same reference signal in one TCI state.

[0037] In one example, the number of CSI-RS resources can be the same in each CSI-RS resource group. Additionally, the interval between the neighboring resources in each CSI-RS resource group may also be the same, and another interval may be configured between the neighboring CSI-RS resource groups.

[0038] In one example, the interval among the neighboring CSI-RS resource group may be configured as m3. As an illustrative example illustrated in FIG. 2A, the interval of CSI-RS resource 1 for set 1 and for set 2 is m3. Here, assuming that: (1) the first CSI-RS resource in the set is transmitted in slot n; (2) the first CSI-RS resource for the second resource set is transmitted in n+m3; and (3) the first CSI-RS resource for the X resource set is transmitted in n+ (X-1) *m3. Here, the interval may be a time offset of m3 slots, and the X resource set may be transmitted in the slot of n+ (X-1) *m3.

[0039] In another example, as shown in FIG. 3B, assuming that different resource groups or sets are mapped, the interval of the first CSI-RS resources of the neighboring resource groups may be m3, where m3 may be a time offset of slots or symbols. Here, the first CSI-RS resource for the X resource set may be transmitted in n+ (X-1) *m3 if the interval is equal to m3  slots. Further, the first CSI-RS resource for the X resource set is transmitted in slot n and symbol y, and y+ (X-1) *m3 if the interval is m3 symbols.

[0040] Embodiment 3

[0041] This embodiment discloses, among other things, examples of a frequency division multiplexing (FDM) based CSI-RS resource set or group, different resource sets or groups are multiplexed in different resource elements in frequency domain.

[0042] Here, a comb offset in the frequency domain should be configured for each CSI-RS resource set or group, and an equal frequency comb offset should be configured for all the CSI-RS resources within one set or group.

[0043] In one example, as illustrated in FIG. 4A, a total number of four resource groups or sets are configured for frequency offset or delay offset reporting, where m represents the interval or time offset of different CSI-RS resources within one group or sets. Here, the resources in one group or set may be configured with different frequency comb offsets (e.g. 0, 1, 2, 3, etc. ) , and the resources of different groups or sets may be mapped on different resource blocks (RB) or resource elements (RE) . In other words, there is an offset of 1 RE between neighboring CSI-RS resource groups or sets.

[0044] In another example, in order not to introduce too much interference from the REs, different RE offset may be configured for different CSI-RS resource sets or groups. In one example, different resource set or group may be mapped on different REs, where the mapped REs may be physical REs or scheduled virtual REs. Here, the number of REs may be restricted for all the CSI-RS resource groups or sets, such as having one or more consecutive REs (e.g., 2 REs) , or REs with comb mapping (e.g., the first and fifth scheduled REs for the first resource set or group) .

[0045] In one example, a comb offset larger than 1 may be configured for neighboring CSI-RS resource groups or sets. As illustrated in FIG. 4B, a 2 RE offset may be configured for group or set 2. If more than two CSI-RS resource groups or sets are configured, then a number of the CSI-RS resource groups or sets from all the configured groups or sets may be multiplexed in the frequency domain, as shown in FIG. 4B. Meanwhile some of the other CSI-RS resource groups or sets may be multiplexed in the time domain as illustrated in FIGs. 3A–3B.

[0046] In another example, if four groups or sets are configured, then group or set 1 may be multiplexed with group or set 2 in the frequency domain, and group or set 3 may be multiplexed with group or set 4 in the frequency domain, where group or sets 1 and 2 are multiplex with group or sets 3 and 4 in the time domain.

[0047] In an alternative example, the same time domain offset may be configured for group or sets 1 and 2, and another different time domain offset is configured for group or sets 3 and 4.

[0048] In a further example, as illustrated in FIG. 4B, a number of comb offsets may be configured with different resource sets or groups mapped on different frequency resource elements or PREs.

[0049] In another example, as shown in FIG. 4C, only the offset of CSI-RS resource groups or sets on the same OFDM symbols may be configured. When the offset is configured, group or set 1 may be mapped on the same RE with the group or set 3 being mapped on different OFDM symbols. Likewise, group or set 2 may be mapped on the same RE with group or set 4 being mapped on different OFDM symbols. Additionally, group or set 2 may be mapped on the same OFDM symbols with group or set 1 having a comb offset. Similarly, group or set 4 may be mapped on the same OFDM symbols with group or set 3 having a comb offset. Here, the offset between group or sets 1 and 2 may be equivalent or different with the offset between group or sets 3 and 4.

[0050] Additionally, in FIGs. 4B and 4C, a time offset or interval for different CSI-RS resources within a group or set may be configured as m1, and a second time offset or interval between the first CSI-RS resources of different groups or sets may be configured as m3.

[0051] In yet another example, the CSI-RS resources within one group or set may still be multiplexed in the time domain on different symbol or slots, so the CSI-RS resources within one resource set or group may be configured with at least the same: (1) time domain offset, (2) domain comb offset, (3) time domain density, or (4) the same frequency density.

[0052] In one further example, another CSI-RS resource configuration for FDM based transmission may be configured to the resource and mapped on a different part of an RE. As shown in FIG. 4D, CSI-RS resource group or set 1 may be configured to map onto the first three REs that are configured for mapping on consecutive REs or comb REs. Further, the CSI-RS resources in group or set 2 may be mapped to the other blocks of the same REs having an  equivalent same frequency domain density. In one example, an offset between neighboring groups or sets may be configured, and the offset may be based on RE (anumber of REs) .

[0053] In another example, the CSI-RS resource groups or sets multiplexed in the frequency domain may be configured with the same time domain offset for each CSI-RS resource in one set or group. For example, for each CSI-RS resource group or set the frequency domain density may be configured as 1 / 4, 1 / 3, 1 / 2 or a value less than 1. These values indicate the number of 1 / 4, 1 / 3, or 1 / 2 CSI-RS resources in one PRB. In other words, the CSI-RS resource may be configured in each 4, 3 or 2 PRBs. Additionally, the OFDM symbol mapping the CSI-RS resources should be used for data mapping on the same or different REs. For example, if CSI-RS resources are mapped in each 4, 3 or 2 PRBs, then different CSI-RS resource groups or sets may be configured on different OFDM symbols or PRBs.

[0054] Embodiment 4

[0055] This embodiment discloses, among other things, examples of determining the CSI computation time for CSI reporting.

[0056] In one example, as illustrated in FIG. 5A, when determining CSI computation time, two parameters should be considered, Z and Z'. Parameters Z or Z2 may be defined as the next uplink symbol after the end of the last symbol of the PDCCH triggering the CSI report (s) , and parameter Z' or Z2' may be defined as the next uplink symbol after the end of the last symbol in time of the latest aperiodic CSI-RS resource for frequency offset or delay reporting.

[0057] FIG. 5B, illustrates an example of a number of CSI-RS resources within one CSI-RS resource set or group. Here, the interval of different CSI-RS resource groups or sets is m slots and N slots for each CSI-RS resource group. Here, CSI-RS resources for one TRP are within one slot, such that the CSI computing time is (Z2 + 14*X* (m) , Z2') or (Z2 + 14* (X-1) * (m) , Z2') , where X is the number of each CSI-RS resource groups or sets associating with one TRP.

[0058] FIG. 5C illustrates an example of a number of CSI-RS resources within one CSI-RS resource set or group. Here, the interval of different CSI-RS resource groups or sets is m slots and N slots for each CSI-RS resource group. Here, CSI-RS resources for one TRP are within one slot, such that the computing time for CSI reporting is (Z2 + (N*X-1) * (m) , Z2') or  (Z2 + N*X* (m) , Z2') , where X is the number of each CSI-RS resource groups or sets associating with one TRP or a total number of Y resources for all groups (Z2 + Y*m, Z2') or (Z2 + (Y-1) *m, Z2') .

[0059] In one example, the interval of different CSI-RS resource is m slots, for a number of X CSI-RS resources in one CSI reporting, such that the CSI computing time is (Z2+ 14* (X-1) * (m) , Z′2) or (Z2 + 14*X* (m) , Z′2) .

[0060] In an alternative example, the interval of different CSI-RS resources in one group or set is m1 symbol or slot and the interval of a different CSI-RS resource group or set is m2 symbol or slot, such that the computing time for CSI reporting is Z2 + 14* (Y-1) *m2 +14* (X-1) *m1. Here, the CSI computation time is determined for a number of X CSI-RS resources in one CSI-RS group or set corresponding to one TRP or TCI state, and a number of Y CSI-RS resource groups or sets are configured.

[0061] In yet another example, the interval of different CSI-RS resources in one group or set is m1 symbol or slot and the interval of different CSI-RS resource groups or sets is m2 symbols or slots, such that the CSI computing time is Z2 + 14* (Y-1) *m2 +Z4 or 14* (Y-1) *m2 +Z4, where the time duration for one CSI-RS group or set is Z4. Here, the CSI computation time is determined for a number of X CSI-RS resources in one CSI-RS group or set corresponding one TRP or TCI state, and a number of Y CSI-RS resource groups or sets are configured.

[0062] In one example, for cyclic mapping, the resources from different CSI-RS resource groups or sets are mapped. Here, the interval of different CSI-RS resource in one group or set is m1 symbol or slot, and the interval of different CSI-RS resource groups or sets is m2 symbol or slot, such that the computing time is Z2 + 14* (X-1) *m1+m2*14 or Z2 + 14* (X-1) *m1 or Z2 + (X-1) *m1 or Z2 + (X-1) *m1+m2. Here, a number of X CSI-RS resources in one CSI-RS group or set corresponding one TRP or TCI state, and a number of Y CSI-RS resource groups or sets are configured.

[0063] In another example, the interval of different CSI-RS resources in one group or set is m1 symbol or slot and the interval of different CSI-RS resource groups or sets is m2 symbol or slot, such that the computing time for CSI reporting is Z2 + 14* (Y-1) *m2 + (X-1) *m1. Here, the CSI computation time is determined for a number of X CSI-RS resources in one  CSI-RS group or set corresponding one TRP or TCI state, and a number of Y CSI-RS resource group or sets are configured.

[0064] In an alternative example, the interval between the X CSI-RS resources or transmission occasions is m1 symbol or slot, such that the CSI computing time is Z2 + 14* (X-1) *m1. Here, the CSI computation time is determined for a number of X CSI-RS resources or transmission occasions in the time domain for the report.

[0065] In another example, the interval between the X CSI-RS resources or transmission occasions is m1 symbol or slot and the interval between neighboring groups or sets is m2 symbol or slot, such that the CSI computing time is Z2 + 14* (Y-1) *m2+m1 or Z_2 + 14* (Y-1) *m2+m1*14* (X-1) . Here, the CSI computation time is determined for a number of X resources in one group or set as well as for a total number of Y resource groups or sets multiplexed in the time domain.

[0066] In the forgoing examples, when m1 or m2 is configured as a number of symbols, the formulas for determining the CSI computation time will not introduce a parameter of 14. However, if m1 or m2 is configured as a number of slots, the 14 may be multiplied by m1 or m2. For example, for a number of CSI-RS resources in one CSI-RS resource set or group with FDM based multiplexing (as illustrated in FIGs. 4A and 4B) , Z and Z' are determined according to CSI-RS resources for one TRP, (Z_2, Z_2^') or (Z_2 + 14*m, Z_2^') .

[0067] In one example, for a number of CSI-RS resources in one CSI-RS resource set or group is configured as delay reporting (as illustrated in FIGs. 4A and 4B) , Z and Z' are determined according to CSI-RS resources for one TRP, (Z2, Z′2) or (Z2+ 14*m, Z′2) .

[0068] In an alternative example, there may be CSI-RS resources for different TRPs within one slot. For example, there may be two CSI-RS resources in one resource group or set and two or four resource groups or sets for one report. Thus, in such cases, Z and Z' may be determined as Z2, Z2'.

[0069] In an additional example, CSI-RS resources for one TRP within two slots, the Z and Z' may be determined as Z2 + 14, Z2'. Here, the CSI-RS resources are for different TRPs within one slot on different symbols.

[0070] In one example, the Z and Z' parameters for CSI-RS resources for different TRPs within one slot, but on different symbols or REs may be determined as Z2 + 14, Z2'. In this example, the CSI-RS resource is for one TRP and within two slots.

[0071] In another example, CSI-RS resources for one TRP and be within one slot. Here, the Z and Z' parameters may be determined as Z2 + 14*X, Z2', where X is the number of each CSI-RS resource group or set associated with one TRP.

[0072] Additionally, in an alternative example for when CSI-RS resources for one TRP are within two slots, the Z and Z' parameters may be determined as (Z2 + 14*X*K, Z2') , where X is the number of CSI-RS resource groups or sets and in each of group, there are 2 CSI-RS resources with each associating with one TRP. Additionally, K is the number of slots for one TRP.

[0073] Moreover, Z2 or Z2' may be determined as a predefined number of symbols, as illustrated in Table 1.

[0074] Table 1.

[0075] Further, in some examples the CSI-RS resources for frequency offset or delay reporting may be restricted to transmit once, for a time duration of a downlink control information (DCI) . Additionally, similar to frequency offset reporting, the delay reporting may be configured with only one CSI-RS resource in one CSI-RS resource group or set.

[0076] In one example, when configuring CSI-RS for frequency or delay offset reporting, parameters of N CSI-RS resource may be equal or a list of sets in a setting may be configured. For example, the mapping between a CSI-RS resource group or set, and a comb offset in time or frequency domain may be according to ascending order of the CSI-RS resource Id.

[0078] FIG. 6 shows an exemplary block diagram of a hardware platform 600 that may be a part of an electrical device such as a network device (e.g., base station) or a communication device (e.g., a user equipment (UE) ) , e.g., the first electrical device or the second electrical device disclosed in the present document. The hardware platform 600 includes at least one processor 610 and a memory 605 having instructions stored thereupon. The instructions upon execution by the processor 610 configure the hardware platform 600 to perform the operations described in FIGs. 1 to 5C and in the various embodiments described in this patent application document. The transmitter 615 transmits or sends information or data to another device. For example, a network device transmitter can send a message to user equipment. The receiver 620 receives information or data transmitted or sent by another device. For example, user equipment can receive a message from a network device.

[0079] The implementations as discussed above will apply to a network communication. FIG. 7 shows an example of a communication system (e.g., a 6G or NR cellular network) that includes a base station 720 and one or more user equipment (UE) 711, 712 and 713. In some embodiments, the UEs access the BS (e.g., the network) using a communication link to the network (sometimes called uplink direction, as depicted by dashed arrows 731, 732 and 733) , which then enables subsequent communication (e.g., shown in the direction from the network to the UEs, sometimes called downlink direction, shown by arrows 741, 742 and 743) from the BS to the UEs. In some embodiments, the BS sends information to the UEs (sometimes called downlink direction, as depicted by arrows 741, 742 and 743) , which then enables subsequent communication (e.g., shown in the direction from the UEs to the BS, sometimes called uplink direction, shown by dashed arrows 731, 732 and 733) from the UEs to the BS. The UE may be, for example, a smartphone, a tablet, a mobile computer, a machine to machine (M2M) device, an Internet of Things (IoT) device, and so on.

[0082] FIG. 9 shows an example flowchart representation of a method for wireless communication in accordance with one or more embodiments of the present technology. Operation 902 includes receiving, by a wireless device, a channel state information (CSI) reporting configuration; wherein N channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS) resource sets are configured by the configuration; wherein N is a positive integer. Operation 904 includes transmitting, by the wireless device, a CSI report that includes M CSI quantities according to the configuration, wherein M is a positive integer. Further, the transmitted CSI report is received including M CSI quantities according to the CSI reporting configuration. Moreover, the CSI quantities comprise of at least a frequency offset and a delay offset.

[0083] Various preferred embodiments and additional features of the above-described method of FIGs. 8–9 are as follows. Further examples are described with reference to embodiments 1 to 4.

[0084] In one example aspect, a wireless communication method is disclosed (e.g., method described with reference to FIG. 8) . The method includes transmitting, from a network entity comprising a channel state information (CSI) report configuration; wherein N channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS) resource sets are configured by the configuration, where N is a positive integer.

[0085] In another example aspect, another wireless communication method is disclosed (e.g., method described with reference to FIG. 9) . The method includes receiving, by a wireless device, a channel state information (CSI) report configuration; wherein N channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS) resource sets are configured by the configuration; wherein N is a positive integer. Upon receiving the CSI reporting configuration, the wireless device may transmit a CSI report that includes M CSI quantities according to the configuration; wherein M is a positive integer.

[0086] In some embodiments, the above disclosed methods further comprising receiving, by the network, a CSI report that includes M CSI quantities according to the configuration, wherein M is a positive integer.

[0087] In some embodiments, the plurality of CSI quantities comprise at least of: 1) a frequency offset, or 2) a delay offset.

[0088] In some embodiments, a plurality number of CSI-RS resources are configured within a CSI-RS resource set and divided into N1 resource groups, wherein N1 is a positive integer.

[0089] In some embodiments, the CSI-RS resources in one resource set are configured with an identical interval for neighboring CSI-RS resources.

[0090] In some embodiments, the CSI-RS resources in each set are associated with an identical transmission configuration indicator (TCI) state or QCLed with one identical reference signal in one TCI state.

[0091] In some embodiments, a plurality of CSI-RS resource sets are configured for one CSI report, wherein one resource set is associated with one identical reference signal in one TCI state or QCLed with one identical reference signal in one TCI state.

[0092] In some embodiments, the CSI-RS resources in one CSI-RS resource set or group are configured with neighboring indexes or the first CSI-RS resource in a first CSI-RS resource set is neighboring an index of the first CSI-RS resource in a second CSI-RS resource set.

[0093] In some embodiments, a time domain offset is configured for neighboring CSI-RS resource sets or group.

[0094] In some embodiments, the offset can be a number of orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) symbols or slots.

[0095] In some embodiments, a comb offset in the frequency domain is configured for at least: (i) each resource set or group, or (ii) one frequency offset is compared with a reference CSI-RS resource set or group, wherein the reference CSI-RS resource set or group is one of the configured CSI-RS resource set or group in the CSI report.

[0096] In some embodiments, the comb offset is a number of resource elements (RE) or a number of physical resource blocks from a neighboring set.

[0097] In some embodiments, the frequency domain density can be configured as one resource elements is configured for one CSI-RS resource from every 1, 2, 3, 4, 6 or 12 resource elements in one PRB or as one resource elements is configured for one CSI-RS resource from every 1, 2, 3, 4, 6 or 12 physical resource blocks.

[0098] In some embodiments, one resource set is configured with at least one: (i) identical time domain offset, (ii) identical comb offset in frequency domain, (iii) identical time domain density, or (iv) identical frequency density, and wherein the CSI-RS resource sets are multiplexes in the frequency domain, configured with the same time domain offset for each CSI-RS resource in one set.

[0099] In some embodiments, CSI computing time between a next uplink symbol following an end of a last symbol of a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) , triggers the CSI report and the OFDM symbol or slot for the CSI report.

[0100] In some embodiments, triggering the CSI report and the OFDM symbol or slot for the CSI report is determined by: a plurality of X CSI-RS resources in one CSI-RS group or set corresponding to one TRP or TCI state, and a plurality of Y CSI-RS resource groups or sets are configured, wherein an interval of different CSI-RS resources in one group or set is m1 symbol or slots, and wherein the interval of different CSI-RS resource groups or sets is m2 with a computing time Z2 + 14* (Y-1) *m2 +14* (X-1) *m1; a plurality of CSI-RS resources in one CSI-RS resource set or group, wherein the interval of different CSI-RS resource groups or sets is m slots, and wherein CSI-RS resources for one TRP are within one slot with a computing time, Z2 + 14*X* (m) or Z2 + 14* (X-1) * (m) ; a plurality of CSI-RS resources in one CSI-RS resource set or group, wherein the interval of different CSI-RS resource is m slots and N slots for one CSI-RS resource group, and wherein CSI-RS resources for one TRP are within one slot with a computing time, Z2 + (N*X-1) * (m) or Z2 + N*X* (m) ; or a plurality of X CSI-RS resources or transmission occasions for a CSI report, wherein the interval is m1 slots between the X CSI-RS resources or transmission occasions with a computing time Z2 +14* (X-1) *m1.

[0101] In some embodiments, one of the CSI-RS resources is transmitted once from: between a next uplink symbol following an end of a last symbol of a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) triggering the CSI report and the OFDM symbol or slot for CSI report, a next uplink symbol following an end of a last symbol of a PDCCH triggering the CSI report with an offset of a plurality of symbols or slots and the OFDM symbol or slot for the CSI report, or a first OFDM symbol or slot of the configured CSI-RS resources to the CSI report.

[0102] In some embodiments, the M CSI quantities are associated with the CSI-RS source sets specified by the configuration.

[0103] It will be appreciated that the present document discloses methods and apparatus related to a structure realizing a technical impact of CSI reporting for CJT or other wireless communication systems. Although CJT attracts attention in academic areas, none of the existing studies for CJT or other communication system, covers the configuration scheme involving transmitting and receiving a signal with CSI reporting to provide the gNB side with necessary related Doppler or delay information. This patent application discloses multiple solutions regarding 1) how a CSI reporting configuration is configured and transmitted; and 2) how the CSI reporting configuration is received by a wireless device and then transmitted by the wireless device. The proposed methods and schemes will improve the communication efficiency and accuracy in CJT and other wireless communication system due to at least sufficiently informing gNB the related Doppler and delay information.

[0104] The disclosed and other embodiments, modules and the functional operations described in this document can be implemented in digital electronic circuitry, or in computer software, firmware, or hardware, including the structures disclosed in this document and their structural equivalents, or in combinations of one or more of them. The disclosed and other embodiments can be implemented as one or more computer program products, i.e., one or more modules of computer program instructions encoded on a computer readable medium for execution by, or to control the operation of, data processing apparatus. The computer readable medium can be a machine-readable storage device, a machine-readable storage substrate, a memory device, a composition of matter affecting a machine-readable propagated signal, or a combination of one or more of them. The term "data processing apparatus" encompasses all apparatus, devices, and machines for processing data, including by way of example a programmable processor, a computer, or multiple processors or computers. The apparatus can include, in addition to hardware, code that creates an execution environment for the computer program in question, e.g., code that constitutes processor firmware, a protocol stack, a database management system, an operating system, or a combination of one or more of them. A propagated signal is an artificially generated signal, e.g., a machine-generated electrical, optical, or electromagnetic signal, which is generated to encode information for transmission to suitable receiver apparatus.

[0105] Acomputer program (also known as a program, software, software application, script, or code) can be written in any form of programming language, including compiled or interpreted languages, and it can be deployed in any form, including as a standalone program  or as a module, component, subroutine, or other unit suitable for use in a computing environment. A computer program does not necessarily correspond to a file in a file system. A program can be stored in a portion of a file that holds other programs or data (e.g., one or more scripts stored in a markup language document) , in a single file dedicated to the program in question, or in multiple coordinated files (e.g., files that store one or more modules, sub programs, or portions of code) . A computer program can be deployed to be executed on one computer or on multiple computers that are located at one site or distributed across multiple sites and interconnected by a communication network.

[0106] The processes and logic flows described in this document can be performed by one or more programmable processors executing one or more computer programs to perform functions by operating on input data and generating output. The processes and logic flows can also be performed by, and apparatus can also be implemented as, special purpose logic circuitry, e.g., an FPGA (field programmable gate array) or an ASIC (application specific integrated circuit) .

[0107] Processors suitable for the execution of a computer program include, by way of example, both general and special purpose microprocessors, and any one or more processors of any kind of digital computer. Generally, a processor will receive instructions and data from a read only memory or a random access memory or both. The essential elements of a computer are a processor for performing instructions and one or more memory devices for storing instructions and data. Generally, a computer will also include, or be operatively coupled to receive data from or transfer data to, or both, one or more mass storage devices for storing data, e.g., magnetic, magneto optical disks, or optical disks. However, a computer need not have such devices. Computer readable media suitable for storing computer program instructions and data include all forms of non-volatile memory, media and memory devices, including by way of example semiconductor memory devices, e.g., EPROM, EEPROM, and flash memory devices; magnetic disks, e.g., internal hard disks or removable disks; magneto optical disks; and CD ROM and DVD-ROM disks. The processor and the memory can be supplemented by, or incorporated in, special purpose logic circuitry.

[0108] While this document contains many specifics, these should not be construed as limitations on the scope of an invention that is claimed or of what may be claimed, but rather as descriptions of features specific to particular embodiments. Certain features that are described in this document in the context of separate embodiments can also be implemented in  combination in a single embodiment. Conversely, various features that are described in the context of a single embodiment can also be implemented in multiple embodiments separately or in any suitable subcombination. Moreover, although features may be described above as acting in certain combinations and even initially claimed as such, one or more features from a claimed combination can in some cases be excised from the combination, and the claimed combination may be directed to a subcombination or a variation of a subcombination. Similarly, while operations are depicted in the drawings in a particular order, this should not be understood as requiring that such operations be performed in the particular order shown or in sequential order, or that all illustrated operations be performed, to achieve desirable results.

[0109] Only a few examples and implementations are disclosed. Variations, modifications, and enhancements to the described examples and implementations and other implementations can be made based on what is disclosed.
