Description

[0001] SPATIAL-ROD FRAME WATERPROOFING

[0002] Field of technology

[0003] The invention relates to devices that provide reliable protection for spatial-rod frame structures, in particular to waterproofing devices.

[0004] Prior art

[0005] A connecting structure (Japanese Patent No. 2005290897, IPC E04B 1 / 684) is known from the prior art, which seals the gap between panels by placing a sealant at the joints formed between the side surfaces of a plurality of panels to be joined, the side surface of which is provided with a groove for fastening the sealant. The sealant comprises a pair of bases and a pair of projections formed on the bases and installed in the grooves of adjacent panels, a pair of ribs formed on the base of the sealant and contacting the side surfaces of the panel, a connecting structure for the panel, wherein the connecting structure of the panel is formed by a section for adjusting the gap, having elasticity and flexibility for connecting the pair of bases.

[0006] The disadvantages of this invention are the difficulty of installing the connecting structure, as well as the need for additional gluing, which also complicates the process and delays the process.

[0007] A sealing profile for joints between cladding panels is known from the prior art (US Patent No. 20080315531, IPC F16J 15 / 02). The profile has a base surface composed of an elastomeric material, and the sealing profile has a cross-sectional extension on both sides at the support end facing the surface being sealed. The extensions are made of an elastomeric material, and the support surface has a groove or recess.

[0008] The disadvantage of this invention is the difficulty of installing the sealing profile due to the peculiarities of its shape, since the supporting part has an extension on both sides, then during the installation of the sealing profile this extension has to be “pushed” for the correct positioning of the profile.

[0009] Disclosure of invention

[0010] The problem that the invention is aimed at solving is to improve waterproofing and reduce thermal conductivity of the spatial-rod frame.

[0011] The technical result achieved by the invention consists in creating a waterproofing agent for the cladding panel of a spatial-rod frame.

[0012] 1

[0013] SUBSTITUTE SHEET (RULE 26) The technical result is achieved by a waterproofing element of a spatial-rod frame, which is a sealant of a U-shaped cross-section made of thermoplastic elastomer with a base and legs, wherein the base is made trapezoidal in cross-section, the legs are made on the inner and outer side surface with teeth and a section of mating with the base, the teeth are made trapezoidal in shape with a decrease in the length of the bases and an increase in the height of the teeth towards the end of the leg.

[0014] Brief description of the drawings

[0015] The invention is further explained by the following drawings:

[0016] Fig. 1. General view of the spatial-rod frame waterproofing.

[0017] Fig. 2. Sectional view (B-B) of the spatial-rod frame waterproofing.

[0018] Fig. 3 Side view of the cladding panel of the spatial-rod frame.

[0019] Embodiments of the invention

[0020] A space-frame structure is a frame construction with external and internal panel cladding. A waterproofing layer is used to seal and reduce the thermal conductivity of the space-frame structure.

[0021] The waterproofing element (1) is a U-shaped seal with a base (2) and legs (3) that are profiled to prevent moisture from entering the sealed gap. The waterproofing element 1 can be made in various shapes: straight, cross-shaped (the base surface is in one plane), angular (the base surface is in two perpendicular planes), or triangular (the waterproofing element can be bent in three planes).

[0022] The legs (3) are provided with at least two teeth (4) on the lateral surface and a mating section (5) with the base (2). The base has a trapezoidal cross-section, with the mating section having a larger angle of inclination to the axis of symmetry of the leg, compared to the angle at the base of the trapezoid.

[0023] The teeth (4) are made in a trapezoidal shape with a decrease in the base of the trapezoid of the teeth and an increase in the height of the teeth towards the end of the leg (3).

[0024] The teeth (4) are made both on the outer and inner sides of the leg (3), which allows the waterproofing material to fit more tightly with the cladding of the space-rod frame, providing protection from moisture ingress and reliable fastening of the waterproofing material.

[0025] Thanks to this design, the teeth (4) of the waterproofing material and the facing panel (6) of the spatial-rod frame engage, and the material from which the waterproofing material (1) is made allows it to completely fill the space, preventing moisture ingress, heat loss and increasing sound insulation.

[0026] 2

[0027] SUBSTITUTE SHEET (RULE 26) The waterproofing material is designed for installation in grooves formed at the junction of adjacent cladding panels of the space-rod frame and providing all cavities with sealing material.

[0028] In a particular case, depending on the location on the space-rod frame, waterproofing elements are manufactured in several types and can be made with ends of different lengths.

[0029] Examples of implementation:

[0030] Example 1

[0031] The main waterproofing element. It is cross-shaped, with all ends of equal length. The end of each end is closed. The base surface is aligned. The end of the waterproofing element fits into the recesses in the cladding panel of the space-rod frame, allowing for installation without protruding parts, while reliably protecting against moisture ingress and ensuring a more secure attachment to the space-rod frame. The main waterproofing element is installed at the intersection of four cladding panels of the space-rod frame.

[0032] Example 2

[0033] Triangular waterproofing element. Designed for installation in an internal corner between the cladding panels of a space-rod frame, it is constructed with its ends at a 120-degree angle to each other. The base surface is aligned. During installation, the flexible material allows the waterproofing element to be bent at an angle.

[0034] Example 3

[0035] End-face waterproofing. It is cross-shaped, with one end shortened and the other three ends of equal length. Each end is capped. The base surface is aligned.

[0036] Example 4

[0037] Internal corner waterproofing element. It is cross-shaped, with two ends shortened, while the other two ends are of equal length. The end of each end is flush with the base surface. The end of the waterproofing element fits into the recesses in the cladding panel of the space-rod frame, allowing for installation without protruding parts, while reliably protecting against moisture ingress and ensuring a more secure attachment to the space-rod frame.

[0038] 3

[0039] SUBSTITUTE SHEET (RULE 26) Example 5

[0040] The corner waterproofing (external) is made in the shape of an angle, to allow installation on the outer corner of a spatial-rod frame; the surface of the base of the corner waterproofing is in two different planes.

[0041] Implementation of the invention

[0042] The waterproofing element (1) is installed at the junction of two facing panels (6) of the spatial-rod framework so that the teeth (4) of the legs (5) of the waterproofing element (1) fit into the grooves (7) on the frames of the facing panel (6) of the spatial-rod framework, formed at the junction of the two facing panels of the spatial-rod framework. The profile of the waterproofing element precisely matches the profile in the groove (7) of the facing panel of the spatial-rod framework so as to ensure its reliable fastening and hydro-, noise- and thermal insulation.

[0043] The waterproofing elements are injection molded using a thermoplastic elastomer (TPE), which boasts high wear-resistant properties, including UV resistance and a Shore A hardness of 50-60A. These characteristics allow the waterproofing elements to be installed into the corresponding grooves in the cladding panel of the space-frame.
