Description

Massage device including an active massage module

[0001] The present invention relates to a massage device including an active massage module, and relates to a massage device including an active massage module capable of active up-and-down movement in real time according to the body shape of a user using an elastic member.

[0002] As public interest in health grows, various types of massage devices have become increasingly popular. In particular, bed-type massage devices are increasingly popular for user convenience and relaxation.

[0003] These massage devices have a massage module that includes acupressure elements that apply pressure to the user's body. These massage modules are typically configured with two acupressure elements spaced apart at a certain interval to ensure that the user's spine is centered.

[0004] A massage device with this structure can maximize the massage effect by providing a more accurate and sophisticated massage to each element of the user's back and spine by repeatedly raising and lowering each acupressure member according to the shape of the user's back and spine while the massage module moves along the user's spine while the user is lying on the bed.

[0005] For massage devices and their included massage modules, an electric motor is used to raise or lower the acupressure element. Specifically, the rotation of the motor is used to control the height at which the acupressure element is raised or lowered. However, the mechanical structure connecting the motor and the acupressure element is complex and difficult to design, resulting in significant time and cost for manufacturing the massage device.

[0006] Additionally, there was a problem that the vibration of the massage module could reduce the durability of the components included inside the module, or could not provide a comfortable experience to the user.

[0007] Moreover, as the massage module moves, it must move up and down in real time to fit the user's body shape. However, when using a motor to move up and down, the response speed is slow, making it difficult to move up and down quickly to fit the shape of the user's back or spine.

[0055] Referring to FIG. 1, a second embodiment (200) of an active massage module (1000) and a massage device including the same according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention is a device including at least one active massage module (1000), a transfer unit capable of transferring each active massage module (1000), and a bed (220) for supporting a human body, wherein the transfer unit includes a transfer member formed of a drive chain (260) or a drive belt (240) and a driver (230) for providing driving force to the transfer member, and the transfer member is characterized in that it contacts each of the side pulleys (5) on at least one side to linearly reciprocate each of the active massage modules (1000).

[0056] In the second embodiment (200), two active massage modules (1000) are provided, and the lower part of each module is supported by one module mounting member (10), so that the two active massage modules (1000) move together while maintaining a certain distance apart from each other as shown in the drawing. This is because it is implemented so that the user's back can be pressed while moving along the direction of the spine on both sides of the spine. Depending on the embodiment, two or more active massage modules (1000) may be mounted on one massage device, and each massage active massage module (1000) may be moved along a different movement direction.

[0057] In addition, according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the actuator of the massage device including the active massage module is characterized by being configured to stop at a specific rotation angle and maintain the angle for a certain period of time. By setting the actuator to stop at a specific angle and maintain the angle, the pressure time for a specific area can be increased, and after applying pressure for a set period of time, the actuator can move to another area and apply pressure again for a set period of time.

[0058] There are known methods for controlling the method of pressing specific multiple areas for a set period of time, and each user may have different customized settings, so a detailed description thereof will be omitted.

[0059]

[0060] FIG. 2a is a perspective view showing a first embodiment (100) of a massage device including an active massage module according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention.

[0061] FIG. 2b is a partially exploded perspective view showing a separated example of an active massage module (1000) of one of the first embodiments (100) of a massage device including an active massage module according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention.

[0062] Referring to FIG. 2a, a first embodiment (100) of a massage device including an active massage module according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention is installed on a module mounting portion (10) with a right module support plate (20) or a left module support plate (30) installed at the bottom of each of two active massage modules (1000).

[0063] Here, lower vibration-proof members (7) are attached to the four lower surfaces of each of the right module support plate (20) and the left module support plate (30), and the lower end of the lower vibration-proof members is attached to the module mounting base (1), thereby reducing vibrations generated by the motor (M) and transmitted to each component.

[0064] In addition, base side plates (3) are respectively coupled to both ends of the module mounting base (1), and at least two side pulleys (5) are provided on the surface of each base side plate (3). As shown in the drawing, when four side pulleys (5) are provided on one base side plate (3), this is to maintain the tension of a transfer member such as a drive belt (240) or drive chain (260) that comes into contact with the side pulley (5) above a certain level. In an embodiment where the tension may frequently change, the axial position of the side pulley (5) may be adjusted, but in the case of the first embodiment (100), it is implemented as a fixed type.

[0065] In addition, referring to FIG. 2b, the left module support plate (30), the active massage module (1000), and the lower vibration-proof member (7) are shown separated from the module mounting base (1). This is to show an opening formed in the module mounting base for application of the lower vibration-proof member (7) and installation of the motor (M).

[0066] In addition, each of FIGS. 2a and 2b is illustrated as having a connector joint (25) formed to extend in the outer direction of each module support plate (right module support plate (20) or left module support plate (30)) and to provide an area in which a connector (50) for connecting power lines and communication lines can be installed.

[0067]

[0068] FIG. 3 is a drawing including a plan view and a side cross-sectional view of a first embodiment (100) of a massage device including an active massage module according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention.

[0069] In Fig. 3, Fig. 3(a) and 3(b) are a side cross-sectional view and a plan view, respectively, and Fig. 3(a) shows a side cross-sectional view taken along the line AA and the direction of the arrow indicated in Fig. 3(b). In Fig. 3(a), the difference in height between the upper ends of each of the pad frame parts (800) on both sides is represented by h, and h is equal to the difference between the minimum height and the maximum height of the end of the acupressure pad (900) that can be adjusted to match the height difference according to the curvature of the user's body. Here, the height adjustment of the end of the acupressure pad (900) is performed by driving the motor (M).

[0070] In addition, the presence of an elastic member installed under the pad frame portion (800) can be confirmed, which will be described with reference to FIG. 6.

[0071] In addition, the left module support plate (30) further includes a fixing protrusion plate (9) formed to extend upward. This is formed in consideration of the possibility that the active massage module (1000) may be used for a special purpose such as in a specific location. Depending on the purpose of use for each embodiment, it may be omitted or formed in a different direction, and may be formed on the right module support plate (20), so it is not limited to having a shape as shown in the drawing.

[0072]

[0073] FIG. 4 is a perspective view, a plan view, and a side view, respectively, showing a state in which a motor (M) is coupled to an active massage module (1000) included in a massage device including an active massage module according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention.

[0075] As can be seen in Fig. 4(c), the lower portion or vicinity of at least one side of the frame receiving body (500) is partially opened. This is to smoothly discharge air currents that may be generated by the pad frame portion (800) vibrating and moving inside the frame receiving body (500), and to enable engagement when additional fasteners such as bolts are applied to limit the position of the frame receiving body (500) on the module support plate.

[0076] In addition, a pair of inner facing surfaces of the frame receiving body (500) may be formed with grooves having a certain depth and height, respectively, which are formed for the purpose of preventing rotation of the pad frame portion (800) within the frame receiving body (500), and will be described again with reference to FIG. 6.

[0077]

[0078] FIG. 5 is a side view and a side cross-sectional view showing a state in which a motor (M) is coupled to an active massage module (1000) included in a massage device including an active massage module according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention.

[0079] Referring to Fig. 5, Figs. 5(a), 5(b), and 5(c) are a rear view, a side view, and a cross-sectional view, respectively, where Fig. 5(b) is a side view in the BB direction of Fig. 5(a), and Fig. 5(c) is a cross-sectional view in the same direction as Fig. 5(b). The structure including the elastic member installed at the bottom of the pad frame portion (800) in Fig. 5(c) will be described in detail with reference to Fig. 6.

[0080]

[0081] FIG. 6 is an exploded perspective view showing the components included in the combination of the active massage module (1000) and the motor (M) of a massage device including an active massage module according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, arranged vertically in the combination order.

[0082] Referring to Fig. 6, in order from bottom to top, a motor (M), a left module support plate (30), an elastic member coupling / supporting member (490), an elastic member (600), a pad frame member (800), a buffer rib forming member (850), and a pressure pad (900) are arranged.

[0083] The motor shaft (Ma), which is the rotational axis of the motor (M), extends upward, and a pin coupling is formed near the upper end of the motor shaft (Ma). A shaft coupling pin (522) is inserted into the pin coupling for synchronous rotation of the elastic member (600) and the motor shaft (Ma), which will be described later.

[0084] At least two connecting columns (6), which are structures for connecting frame receiving bodies (500), may be formed on the left module support plate (30), and a hollow space for bolt connection may be formed in the connecting columns (6), and a screw hole for connecting a motor (M) may also be formed in the lower part of the connecting columns (6). In addition, a hollow space for connecting one side of the motor and passing the motor shaft (Ma) must be formed in the center of the left module support plate (30).

[0085] And, an elastic member (600) support / support member (490) for the purpose of supporting the elastic member (600) is connected to the left module support plate (30) in a form that crosses the upper hollow space.

[0086] The elastic member (600) is coupled to the upper surface of the elastic member coupling / supporting member (490), and includes a lower flange (510) having a predetermined diameter and a hollow formed in the center for coupling a motor shaft, and a flange column (520) of a predetermined height formed concentrically with the hollow, an elastic member (550) formed of an elastic material having a length longer than the height of the flange column (520) and inserted into the flange column (520), and an upper flange (590) in which a hollow column formed to face downward is inserted to surround a portion of the upper end of the flange column (520) of the lower flange (510) and receives the restoring force of the elastic member (550) to the flange surface.

[0087] In addition, the upper flange (590) may be coupled with an upper fixing joint (581) having a through hole of a specific shape formed at the upper end and an outer shape corresponding to the specific shape of the through hole and a through hole formed with a screw machined at the center, and an upper fixing bolt (582) that is screw-coupled to the through hole. Here, the upper fixing joint (581) and the upper fixing bolt (582) are components installed for the purpose of further improving the coupling force between each component by further improving the frictional force between each contact surface connecting the upper flange (590) - the upper fixing joint (581) - the upper fixing bolt (582) (see FIG. 8), and also has the purpose of being fixed to an axis and serving as a rotation and up-down guide.

[0088] In addition, in FIG. 8, the upper part of the upper fixed joint (581) is illustrated as having protrusions formed in four directions. Depending on the embodiment, the protrusions may be formed in one, two, three, four as in the present embodiment, or more, and the number may be determined as an optimal quantity according to the formation purpose and environment for each embodiment.

[0089]

[0090] FIG. 7 is a perspective view, a plan view, and a side view showing a state in which an elastic part (600) and a pad frame part (800) included in an active massage module are combined according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention.

[0091] Referring to Fig. 7, Figs. 7(a), 7(b), 7(c), and 7(d) are a perspective view, a plan view, a side view, and a cross-sectional view, respectively, and Fig. 7(d) is a cross-sectional view taken along the CC line and arrow of Fig. 7(c).

[0092] Referring to Fig. 7(d), it can be seen that two bearings (790) are inserted near the upper end of the pad frame portion (800) and below the buffer rib forming portion (850). These bearings (790) are configured to prevent rotational force from being transmitted to the pressure pad (900) when the upper flange (720) and the pad frame flange (710) are rotated by the rotation of the lower flange (510) and flange column (520) according to the rotation of the motor (M).

[0093] Here, the main reason for applying two bearings (790) is to minimize the internal play of the bearings and thereby minimize the shaking of the shaft.

[0094] While the acupressure pad (900) is pressing the user's body, if a certain amount of rotational force is transmitted to the acupressure pad (900), the user may experience unnecessary discomfort or, in severe cases, pain. Therefore, by applying a bearing (790), the transmission of rotational force to the acupressure pad (900) is minimized.

[0095] In addition, in the configuration of the pad frame portion (800) as described above, the center of rotation of the pillar formed near the center of rotation of the pad frame flange (710) is not located in a straight line with the center of rotation of the pad frame flange (710).

[0096] That is, when the rotation of the motor (M) and the motor shaft (Ma) is transmitted to the pad frame portion (800) through the elastic portion (600), the pillar of the pad frame flange (710) is formed at an eccentric position with respect to the pad frame flange (710), so that the acupressure pad (900) vibrates in the horizontal direction as well, thereby further enhancing the massage effect.

[0097] In addition, an eccentric balance piece (730) is added around the upper column of the pad frame flange (710) to serve as a weight to balance the eccentric vibration of the pad frame flange (710).

[0098] Additionally, depending on the embodiment, a through hole machined with a screw may be formed in the eccentric balance piece (730) to serve as a nut for fixing a bolt used for joining the elastic part (600) and the pad frame part (800).

[0100] FIG. 8 is a drawing showing a plan view, a side view, a perspective view, and an exploded perspective view of an elastic member (600) included in an active massage module according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention.

[0101] Referring to Fig. 8, Figs. 8(a), 8(b), 8(c), and 8(d) are a plan view, a perspective view, a side view, and an exploded perspective view, respectively, and Fig. 8(c) includes a side view and a cross-sectional view and a bottom view along the DD line and arrows of Fig. 8(a).

[0102] Referring to Fig. 8(d), the elastic member (600) includes, in order from the bottom to the top, a lower flange (510), a flange column (520), an elastic member (530), an elastic member (550), an upper flange (590), and an elastic member upper fixing member (580). Here, one or two coupling pin insertion holes (521) are formed near the lower end of the flange column (520), and an axial coupling pin (522) is inserted into the coupling pin insertion holes (521).

[0103] At this time, the shaft coupling pin (522) is used for the purpose of fixing the lower flange (510) and the flange column (520) so that they rotate synchronously with the motor shaft (Ma). In addition, it is characterized by being applied at two locations in order to fix them without loosening or play due to rotation.

[0104]

[0105] In addition, in the drawings included in the present invention, the elastic member (550) is illustrated as a spring, which is the most commonly used form of elastic component, but this is not intended to limit the elastic member (550) component to necessarily being in the form of a spring.

[0106]

[0107] Above, a massage device including an active massage module according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention has been described with reference to the drawings of FIGS. 1 to 8.
