Abstract
Description
Hair oil composition containing rosemary oil
[0001] The present invention relates to a hair oil composition containing rosemary oil, and more particularly, to a hair oil composition containing rosemary oil that can help improve scalp blood flow, moisturize the scalp, improve split ends, and strengthen hair quality.
[0002] Healthy human hair is composed of 80-90% keratin protein, 10-15% moisture, melanin pigment, lipids, and trace elements. Structurally, it consists of the medulla, cortex, and cuticle. The cuticle, which accounts for 10-15% of the hair, is the outermost layer and forms scales. This structure protects the hair's interior from external stimuli and maintains its luster and moisture content.
[0003] Because hair is primarily composed of keratin protein, it is easily damaged by various causes. For example, friction or pulling can damage the hair cuticle, which can lead to damage to the cortex and medulla. Damaged hair is structurally rough, which causes more friction and ultimately worsens the damage. In particular, in dry winter or during seasonal changes, the moisture content in the hair decreases, which can lead to greater damage from friction of the hair cuticle. Damaged and dry hair can also cause discomfort by inducing static electricity. Furthermore, keratin cross-linking structures can be destroyed and damaged by heat, sodium sulfide, a strong reducing agent used in depilatory products, and thioglycolic acid, a strong oxidizing agent used in perms.
[0004] Accordingly, consumer demand and preference for hair conditioning products to protect hair tissue and improve aesthetics and texture are increasing day by day, and accordingly, various hair conditioning products such as hair rinses, hair treatments, hair packs, hair masks, hair ampoules, hair mists, and hair oils are being introduced to the market.
[0005] Among these, hair oils are particularly in demand because they are easy to use, instantly improve the beauty and texture of hair, and have long-lasting effects.
[0006] Meanwhile, since the scalp is made up of different tissues than the hair, when using hair oil, it is necessary to ensure that the scalp is not damaged while also providing nutrients to the scalp, in addition to allowing the hair to absorb nutrients.
[0007] In relation to this, Korean Patent Publication No. 10-1732027, a related prior art, 'Cosmetic composition for hair care', discloses a cosmetic composition for hair care that has excellent usability and excellent moisturizing properties for hair by using low-viscosity silicone oil and natural vegetable oil. However, this prior art discloses only a hair oil composition that cares for hair, and does not disclose any nutritional ingredients for the scalp adjacent to the hair.
[0008] The purpose of the present invention is to solve the above-described conventional problems, and to provide a hair oil composition containing rosemary oil having an optimal composition ratio that can help improve scalp blood flow, moisturize the scalp, improve split ends, and strengthen hair quality.
[0009] The above object is achieved by a hair oil composition containing rosemary oil, which comprises, based on 50 volume parts of the hair oil composition, 35 to 42.5 volume parts of jojoba oil, 2.5 to 10 volume parts of castor oil, 1.75 volume parts of argan oil, 1.75 volume parts of almond oil, and 1.5 volume parts of essential oil including rosemary essential oil.
[0010] Additionally, the essential oil may include 0.75 volume ratio of rosemary essential oil.
[0011] Additionally, the essential oil may further include 0.25 volume ratio of peppermint essential oil and 0.25 volume ratio of green tea essential oil.
[0012] Additionally, the essential oil may further include 0.25 volume ratio of lavender essential oil or 0.25 volume ratio of tea tree essential oil.
[0013] Additionally, based on the volume ratio of 50 of the hair oil composition, the jojoba oil may be in a volume ratio of 42.5, and the castor oil may be in a volume ratio of 2.5.
[0014] Additionally, based on a volume ratio of 50 of the above hair oil composition, a volume ratio of 2.5 of coconut oil may be further included.
[0015] Additionally, based on 50 parts by weight of the hair oil composition, 1 part by weight of biotin may be further included.
[0016] According to the present invention, a hair oil composition containing rosemary oil having an optimal composition ratio can be provided to help improve scalp blood flow, moisturize the scalp, improve split ends, and strengthen hair quality.
[0017] In addition, according to the present invention, in addition to rosemary essential oil, peppermint essential oil, green tea essential oil, and lavender essential oil (or tea tree essential oil) are blended together in an appropriate ratio as essential oils to naturally create a feeling of being in a forest.
[0018] In addition, according to the present invention, the viscosity of the carrier oil is optimized, so that hair becomes thicker while not clogging the pores of the scalp and causing no discomfort to users when using it.
[0019] Meanwhile, the effects of the present invention are not limited to the effects mentioned above, and various effects may be included within a range obvious to those skilled in the art from the contents described below.

Biotin is known to play a vital role in maintaining scalp and hair health. Specifically, biotin increases hair strength and shine, helps prevent hair damage, and promotes hair growth. Biotin also helps prolong the growth and lifespan of scalp cells, regulates scalp moisture levels, and helps alleviate scalp inflammation.
[0065] Such biotin may be included in an amount of 1 part by weight based on a total of 50 parts by weight of the hair oil composition.
[0066] Meanwhile, the hair oil composition containing rosemary oil of the present invention can be produced through a method for producing a hair oil composition containing rosemary oil, which comprises a preparation step, a first production step, a second production step, and a stirring step.
[0067] The preparation stage is the stage of preparing the carrier oils, namely jojoba oil, castor oil, argan oil, almond oil, and cocoa oil, and the essential oils, namely rosemary essential oil, peppermint essential oil, and green tea essential oil, and lavender essential oil or tea tree essential oil, and preparing biotin.
[0068] The first manufacturing step is a step for manufacturing a carrier oil. The carrier oil is manufactured by mixing jojoba oil, castor oil, argan oil, and almond oil based on the volume ratio described above, and preferably, coconut oil is also mixed to manufacture the carrier oil.
[0069] The second manufacturing step is the step of manufacturing essential oil. Based on the volume ratio described above, rosemary essential oil, peppermint essential oil, and green tea essential oil are mixed, and lavender essential oil or tea tree essential oil is mixed together to manufacture essential oil.
[0070] The stirring step is a step of preparing a hair oil composition containing rosemary oil of the present invention by stirring together the carrier oil prepared in the first manufacturing step, the essential oil prepared in the second manufacturing step, and biotin through a stirring device (100). At this time, the temperature of the stirring device (100) is maintained at approximately 24°C so that coconut oil, which is solid at room temperature, can be well mixed.
[0071] FIG. 3 and FIG. 4 illustrate a stirring device (100) for producing a hair oil composition containing rosemary oil of the present invention, FIG. 5 illustrates in detail a rotating part of a stirring device (100) for producing a hair oil composition containing rosemary oil of the present invention, and FIG. 6 illustrates a modified example of a rotating part of a stirring device (100) for producing a hair oil composition containing rosemary oil of the present invention.
[0072] Meanwhile, the carrier oil and essential oil can be stirred through the stirring device (100) disclosed in FIGS. 3 to 6, and the stirring device (100) can include a main body (110), a heater (120), a rotating part (130), and a magnetic force applying part (140).
[0073] The main body (110) provides a space for containing carrier oil, essential oil, and biotin, and may be formed as a cylindrical beaker made of a transparent material. A mixing unit (130), which will be described later, may be arranged on the inner bottom surface of the main body (110), and a ring-shaped protrusion (110a) may be formed on the bottom surface so that the mixing unit (130) can rotate only at the center portion.
[0074] The heater unit (120) heats the main body (110) to a preset temperature so that the carrier oil and the essential oil can be easily mixed. It can be installed to surround the outer surface of the main body (110) and be provided in a manner that radiates radiant energy to the main body (110). Preferably, the main body (110) can be heated to a temperature of about 24°C so that the coconut oil can be melted and easily mixed. According to this heater unit (120), since heating can be performed in all directions along the outer surface of the main body (110), there is an effect in which the carrier oil and the essential oil can be evenly heated and easily mixed.
[0075] The rotating part (130) rotates inside the main body (110) to mix the carrier oil, essential oil, and biotin, and can be provided in a manner similar to a magnetic bar stirring method. This rotating part (130) receives a magnetic force from a magnetic force applying part (140) described below and rotates to mix the carrier oil, essential oil, and biotin contained inside the main body (110), and is placed on the inner bottom surface of the main body (110).
[0076] The rotating part (130) includes, more specifically, a base part (131) formed in a cylindrical shape, a plurality of wing parts (132) detachably installed on the base part (131), a filter part (133) detachably installed in the middle of the wing parts (132), and a magnetic part (134) installed at each end of the plurality of wing parts (132) to rotate the rotating part (130) using the magnetic force of the magnetic force applying part (140). That is, the magnetic part (134) receives a magnetic force from the magnetic force applying part (140), and thereby causes the entire rotating part (130) to rotate in one direction or the other direction, thereby enabling stirring.
[0077] Meanwhile, the base portion (131) may be placed inside the protrusion (110a) formed at the center of the bottom surface of the main body portion (110). In this case, since the rotating portion (130) is stably rotated only inside the protrusion (110a) by the protrusion (110a), the effect of increasing the efficiency of stirring can be expected. At this time, the protrusion (110a) may be formed at a height that does not interfere with the wing portion (132).
[0078] Meanwhile, solids and foreign substances can be effectively removed when carrier oil, essential oil, and biotin oil are stirred by the filter unit (133) installed in the middle of the wing unit (132). For this purpose, the wing unit (132) may have, for example, a mesh structure so that solids and foreign substances can be captured. At this time, in the present invention, the mesh structure may be formed as a double mesh structure so that solids and foreign substances can be effectively captured. Specifically, the mesh structure may include a first mesh structure having a first hole size and a second mesh structure having a second hole size smaller than the first hole size, and the first mesh structure may be structured so that the first mesh structure is arranged at the front and the second mesh structure is arranged at the rear based on the rotational direction of the wing unit (132). According to this, solids and foreign substances can be effectively removed when carrier oil, essential oil, and biotin oil are stirred, so that an effect of producing a higher quality hair oil composition can be expected.
[0079] In addition, a slide groove is formed in the wing portion (132), and the filter portion (133) can be detached and attached in a sliding manner, so that the filter portion can be expected to have the effect of being able to be used repeatedly after washing. Furthermore, the filter portion (133) can be provided to be detached and attached upwards, which makes it easy to attach and detach, and reduces the possibility of the filter portion (133) coming off during rotation.
[0080] In addition, the wing part (132) itself can be detached from the base part (131). Accordingly, if any one of the wing parts (132) is broken or damaged, maintenance is possible by replacing only the corresponding wing part (132), so the effect of being able to perform maintenance at low cost is expected.
[0081] Meanwhile, although not shown in the drawing, an additional slot may be formed in the wing portion (132) in which a plurality of magnetic portions (134) may be installed. According to this additional slot, there is an advantage in that the rotational strength of the rotation portion (130) can be manually controlled by adding or removing the magnetic portion (134).
[0082] In addition, as illustrated in FIG. 6, the rotating parts (130) may be provided in a plurality of pieces and connected (fitted, screwed, etc.) through a groove (g) formed at the top of the base part (131) and may be provided in a stacked form (a plurality of pieces can be extended to the height of the main body part (110). In this case, since the number of filter parts (133) increases, the effect of more effectively removing solids and foreign substances is expected.
[0083] The magnetic force application unit (140) applies a magnetic force to the rotation unit (130) to cause the rotation unit (130) to rotate. It can be provided in a manner of inducing an alternating current, and can be configured to control the amount of rotation of the rotation unit (130) by adjusting the amount of current flowing in the coil that generates the alternating current induction. Meanwhile, in the present invention, since the heater unit (120) exists separately, a separate configuration for heating does not need to be provided in the magnetic force application unit (140).
[0084]
[0085] From now on, we will explain the preparation of a hair oil composition containing rosemary oil and the results of tests on the effects of the composition.

[0110] Experimental example
[0111] A total of 30 women in their 20s to 50s (10 women in their 20s, 10 women in their 30s, 5 women in their 40s, and 5 women in their 50s), who are the main customer base, were evaluated for their preference for fragrance after application, preference for hair after application, preference for moisturizing power after application, and preference for texture before and after application, with a full score of 10, for the 22 manufactured examples. The average value was calculated (rounded to the nearest two decimal places), and the four examples with the highest overall evaluation scores were evaluated for anti-inflammatory activity.
[0112] Each subject washed and dried their scalp and hair using the same shampoo. They then took about a teaspoonful of the hair oil composition according to each example, warmed the oil by rubbing their hands together, and massaged the oil directly onto their scalp using their fingers. The remaining oil was then evenly applied from the middle of their hair to the ends. This process was then repeated to evaluate the hair oil compositions of other examples.
[0113]
[0114] Evaluation of preference for fragrance after hair application
[0115] After applying the hair oil composition to the scalp and hair, each subject was asked to evaluate the fragrance or unpleasant odor, and the average results for each example are shown in the table below.
[0116] Cutoff score (average) Cutoff score (average) Example 17.5 Example 128.2 Example 27.6 Example 138.7 Example 37.4 Example 148.5 Example 47.2 Example 158.6 Example 57.3 Example 168.3 Example 67.4 Example 179.4 Example 77.3 Example 189.2 Example 87.2 Example 199.3 Example 98.6 Example 209.2 Example 108.8 Example 218.9 Example 118.7 Example 228.7
[0117] As shown in Table 1 above, overall high scores were derived, but when peppermint essential oil was blended at 0.5 ml as in Examples 1 to 4, or rosemary essential oil was blended at 1 ml as in Examples 5 to 8, the overall scent became somewhat artificial and irritating, resulting in a slight decrease in user preference. In addition, it was confirmed that the scent of the cases in which lavender essential oil or tea tree essential oil was blended in Examples 9 to 22 was more preferred than the cases in which lavender essential oil or tea tree essential oil was not blended in Examples 1 to 8, and among them, the scent of the case in which lavender essential oil was blended was confirmed to be slightly more preferred. However, it was found that there was almost no difference in the preference for the scent depending on the composition ratio of jojoba oil and castor oil.
[0118]
[0119] Evaluation of hair preference after application
[0120] After applying the hair oil composition to the scalp and hair, a comprehensive evaluation was conducted on the aesthetics, hair tangle, and foreign body sensation. The average results for each example are shown in the table below.
[0121] Cutoff score (average) Cutoff score (average) Example 17.1 Example 127.3 Example 26.8 Example 136.4 Example 35.9 Example 146.0 Example 44.0 Example 153.8 Example 57.3 Example 164.0 Example 67.0 Example 178.7 Example 76.4 Example 188.7 Example 83.9 Example 197.2 Example 97.9 Example 206.9 Example 107.9 Example 215.6 Example 117.2 Example 225.7
[0122] As shown in Table 2 above, the higher the composition ratio of jojoba oil and the lower the composition ratio of castor oil, the more preferred by users it was because it kept hair moist and not sticky. In particular, when coconut oil was used, it was confirmed that soft hair was formed due to the additional moisturizing effect, which was highly preferred by users.
[0123] Preference evaluation of moisturizing power after application
[0124] After applying the hair oil composition to the scalp and hair, each person was asked to evaluate the moisturizing effect (whether the skin felt tight, etc.) and lasting effect. The average results for each example are shown in the table below.
[0125] Cutoff score (average) Cutoff score (average) Example 17.2 Example 125.8 Example 26.8 Example 135.1 Example 36.3 Example 145.1 Example 45.2 Example 154.9 Example 57.3 Example 164.8 Example 66.7 Example 179.2 Example 76.5 Example 189.2 Example 85.1 Example 198.1 Example 97.1 Example 208.2 Example 106.2 Example 216.9 Example 116.0 Example 227.1
[0126] As shown in Table 3 above, it was found that the higher the composition ratio of jojoba oil, which provides moisture to the hair and scalp, the higher the user preference for moisturizing power, and it was confirmed that the composition containing coconut oil, which is specialized for moisturizing effect, had excellent lasting power and was particularly preferred by users.
[0127] Preference evaluation of tactile sensation before and after application
[0128] Each subject was asked to evaluate the feel of their hands before and after applying the hair oil composition to their scalp and hair, and the average results for each example are shown in the table below.
[0129] Cutoff score (average) Cutoff score (average) Example 18.9 Example 125.5 Example 27.2 Example 133.5 Example 35.9 Example 143.6 Example 43.2 Example 152.4 Example 58.4 Example 162.2 Example 66.9 Example 178.8 Example 75.5 Example 188.8 Example 83.3 Example 195.6 Example 99.1 Example 205.4 Example 109.0 Example 213.3 Example 115.6 Example 223.1
[0130] As shown in Table 4 above, due to the relatively high viscosity of castor oil, it was confirmed that as the composition ratio of castor oil increased, the hair oil composition became sticky on the hands and hair before and after application to the hair, resulting in lower user preference, and it was confirmed that the preference was highest when caster oil was mixed at 2.5 ml.
[0131] When the above evaluations were combined, Example 17 (36.1) and Example 18 (35.9) obtained the highest scores, and among them, Example 17 obtained a slightly higher score than Example 18, indicating that when the hair oil composition contained 40 ml of jojoba oil, 2.5 ml of castor oil, 1.75 ml of argan oil, 1.75 ml of almond oil, 2.5 ml of coconut oil, 0.75 ml of rosemary essential oil, 0.25 ml of peppermint essential oil, 0.25 ml of green tea essential oil, 0.25 ml of lavender essential oil, and 1 g of biotin, the subjects showed the best preference in terms of fragrance, hair texture, moisturizing power, and touch.

[0133] Anti-inflammatory activity evaluation
[0134] To evaluate the anti-inflammatory activity of the compositions of the top four examples (Examples 9, 10, 17, and 18) with high overall user evaluations, the scavenging ability of nitric oxide (NO) was tested as follows.
[0135] Raw 264.7 macrophages were cultured at 1 × 10 in DMEM (Dulbecco's modified Eagle's medium) supplemented with 10% FBS (fetal bovine serum) and 100 units / ml of penicillin and streptomycin. 6 Cells were seeded into 96-well plates at a concentration of 10 cells / ml and cultured overnight at 37°C, 5% CO2. The following day, the medium was removed and replaced with fresh medium, and 50 μl of the composition of the above example was treated to the cells. After culturing in a CO2 incubator for 30 minutes, the medium containing 50 μl (1 μg / ml) of LPS (lipopolysaccharide) was treated and cultured in an incubator (5% CO2, 37°C) for 24 hours. PBS (phosphate buffered saline) was used as a control. Griess reagent I (NED solution) and Griess reagent II (Sulfaniliamide solution) were mixed in equal amounts and added, reacted for 10 minutes, and then the optical density at 540 nm was measured using a microplate reader. The concentration of nitric oxide (NO) was calculated using the standard curve (0-100 μM) of sodium nitrite. As a result of the experiment, it was confirmed that the compositions of Examples 9, 10, 17, and 18 of the present invention had excellent antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activities because they reduced the amount of NO production promoted by LPS by 40-50% or more. In particular, the compositions of Examples 17 and 18 of the present invention were found to reduce the amount of NO production promoted by LPS by 59% and 56%, respectively.
