Description

"INSECTICIDE FORMULATION, PROCESS FOR PRODUCING SAID FORMULATION, AND ITS USES" FIELD OF APPLICATION

[0001] The present invention falls within the fields of agronomic engineering, agricultural engineering, organic chemistry, physical chemistry, chemical engineering, botany, and biology.

[0002] More specifically, the present invention relates to an insecticidal formulation, its production process and use in the treatment of seeds of a plurality of crops, and for the control of a range of pests. DESCRIPTION OF THE STATE OF THE ART

[0003] Flowable suspension (FS) formulations are a type of concentrated suspension (SC) specifically used for seed treatment. Compared to formulations with lower concentrations of active ingredient, SC formulations are particularly advantageous because they have reduced costs and the packaging process involved in the industrial process is less complex. This is true because a larger quantity of active ingredient per volume can be found in the same container. For the same reasons, there is also a reduction in the complexity of transport and storage. For example, consider a hypothetical demand for transporting a certain quantity of active ingredients. For that quantity, fewer containers will be needed when they consist of highly concentrated active ingredients. On the other hand, a plurality of containers will be mandatory for this same demand when they consist of active ingredients in reduced concentrations, making the logistics and storage system more difficult.

[0004] SC formulations also make preparing the spray mixture more practical and simple, since the farmer can... This approach involves handling only a few batches of highly concentrated containers. In this way, SC compositions with a high concentration of active ingredients are more advantageous than those that, while also SC, are less concentrated, especially from a logistical, operational, and practical standpoint.

[0005] When discussing the need for highly concentrated compositions, WG (water dispersible granules) are a viable alternative to SC (suppressed suspensions). This is because they also contain a high quantity of active ingredients, often even more than concentrated suspensions. On the other hand, water-dispersible granules are particularly disadvantageous compared to concentrated suspensions for the reasons explained below.

[0006] In relation to SC-type formulations, WG formulations exhibit reduced agronomic efficacy, affected by the presence of large particles with heterogeneous distribution. These properties easily lead to clogging of spray nozzles and demand a high level of operator skill during the preparation of the spray mixture. Obtaining a properly homogeneous mixture before application depends on a correct homogenization procedure, longer preparation time, and the need to combine it with other adjuvants in the tank – a clear difficulty in handling. SC formulations, on the other hand, comprise finely divided, stably suspended active ingredients and are water-based. These characteristics facilitate and simplify the preparation of the spray mixture and, therefore, directly increase efficacy. Finally, the high exposure to dust, inherent in the production process of WG products and also in their handling by the end consumer, is an unhealthy characteristic that does not exist in concentrated suspensions (SC or FS).

[0007] OD (oil dispersion) formulations, unlike SC formulations, contain oil and / or solvent instead of water. Initially, there is a significant distinction here, since the presence of oil and solvents makes cleaning equipment during the production process more difficult. By increasing resistance to flow, the presence of oil and solvents in these formulations causes a significant amount of the product being manufactured to remain trapped in tanks, reactors, pipes, etc. Consequently, a greater amount of washing water is needed for cleaning, increasing the amount of industrial effluent from the process. Furthermore, the presence of organic solvents and oily components gives the OD formulation high toxicity to the operator, as well as increasing the chances of phytotoxicity during application. Finally, and no less importantly, the use of solvents and oils instead of water increases production costs.

[0008] In this context, binary formulations based on thiamethoxam and chlorantraniliprole, specifically of the FS, OD, and WG types, have been gaining prominence in the state of the art, especially due to the fact that they present two highly efficient and agronomically important insecticides. However, these active ingredients are present in limited concentrations and do not exceed, for example, 35% w / w (sum of the two insecticides). This is reflected in the fact that, to date, no compositions have been developed whose agronomic excipients (dispersants, thickeners, antifoaming agents, etc.) allow for the presence of these active ingredients in concentrations higher than the aforementioned one.

[0009] In addition, existing formulations use antifreeze and ionic agronomic excipients, which are frequently used as dispersants, surfactants, surface-active agents, wetting agents, and for related functions.

[0010] The use of antifreeze is common in most binary formulations based on thiamethoxam and chlorantraniliprole. Furthermore, ionic excipients are also considered mandatory in this type of formulation, and their use in combination with said antifreeze is common.

[0011] Antifreeze agents are incorporated into formulations to maintain stability under low temperature conditions, such as those imposed by particularly cold climates (preparation for winter). In the context of binary FS formulations based on thiamethoxam and chlorantraniliprole, antifreeze agents are understood to be mandatory components. It should be mentioned that the above applies solely and exclusively to thiophanate and chlorantraniliprole formulations. Obviously, there are other insecticidal formulations in which the person skilled in the art can easily decide not to incorporate antifreeze agents. However, these are formulations containing other active ingredients completely distinct from those covered in the present invention and possessing a different set of agronomic excipients. The inclusion or exclusion of components, as well as their concentrations, are significantly particular characteristics of a given type of formulation and active ingredients. In the context of the present invention, for example, antifreeze is used in a large part of thiamethoxam and chlorantraniliprole formulations, highlighting the difficulty in removing this component from the composition.

[0012] Ionic excipients, especially those used as dispersants, surfactants, wetting agents, or similar, are also frequently used in formulations containing thiamethoxam and chlorantraniliprole, which brings with it some undesirable factors: ionic excipients are significantly sensitive to pH variations, a factor with a high influence on agglomeration, leading to physicochemical instability. Additionally, these same ionic excipients are widely known to be environmentally incompatible, given that they do not... They are biodegradable and are not easily removed from industrial effluents, especially because they have high solubility in water.

[0013] Furthermore, the formulations of the prior art make use of polyvinyl alcohol, an important component for the adhesion of the composition to the seeds, in concentrations at least three times higher than in the present invention.

[0014] Furthermore, another critical problem is formulations where the dye, essential for seed marking, is used in low concentrations, increasing the risk of seeds intended for direct consumption being improperly marketed. In this context, the pigment concentration ends up being sacrificed in light of the need for a plurality of agronomic excipients and their high concentrations to make obtaining the product viable. To date, for example, the maximum dye concentration obtained in a formulation based on thiamethoxam and chlorantraniliprole was 3% w / w, this concentration being viable in a formulation of active ingredients whose total quantity amounts to a maximum of 35% w / w, and this formulation using ionic agronomic excipients and antifreeze – document CN 105494410 reveals this situation. It is worth mentioning that in prior art compositions, specifically those containing thiamethoxam and chlorantraniliprole, the dye is frequently used, on average, in concentrations of only 0.05 to 1.5% w / w.

[0015] When discussing the risk of seeds intended for direct consumption being improperly marketed, we are facing a highly dangerous problem. This involves the risk to consumer health who, upon ingesting seeds with barely visible markings resulting from a low pigment concentration in the formulation, may become intoxicated or even die. It is important to mention that the success in achieving effective seed coloring is also directly related to the strategic selection of other excipients. agronomic factors, their concentrations, and the characteristics of the production process are all factors to consider. Furthermore, as mentioned above, the need for a plurality of agronomic excipients to achieve a formulation sacrifices the quantity of dye itself. In other words, the few FS formulations minimally related to the present invention contain dyes in reduced concentrations, increasing the chances of cultivated seeds (which should be effectively marked) being destined for direct consumption. Since seeds for direct consumption are those that are not marked, the existence of seeds containing this type of composition is erroneously understood as unmarked, because the dye is barely perceptible. Consequently, the seed containing the applied formulation will be dangerously diverted for direct consumption.

[0016] Document US20180168158, for example, discloses a seed-finding composition of thiamethoxam and chlorantraniliprole comprising a maximum of 20% w / w of these active ingredients combined. In addition to comprising ionic agronomic excipients and a plurality thereof, said composition contains only 0.05% w / w of seed-coloring pigment. Furthermore, an adherent is used in significant concentrations, namely 5% w / w, said adherent being polyvinylpyrrolidone-vinyl acetate.

[0017] Document CN114946865 describes FS formulations of thiamethoxam and chlorantraniliprole comprising a maximum of 35% w / w of said active ingredients combined. In addition to comprising a plurality of agronomic excipients, said excipients including those of an ionic nature and antifreeze agents, said formulations contain only 0.9 to 1.4% of pigment for seed coloring. Furthermore, an adherent is used in significant concentrations, namely 0.5 to 1.2% w / w, said adherent being polyvinyl alcohol vinyl acetate.

[0018] Document US20240180159 discloses a formulation of thiamethoxam and chlorantraniliprole in significantly reduced concentrations, said formulation being of the OD type, and comprising a plurality of agronomic excipients, an important part of which is composed of ionic components and antifreeze agents.

[0019] Document CN 109303062 discloses a formulation of thiamethoxam and chlorantraniliprole, said formulation being of the WG type, and comprising a maximum of 13% w / w of said active ingredients combined. This prior art is silent regarding the agronomic excipients used.

[0020] Document CN109169674 describes a FS formulation of thiamethoxam, chlorantraniliprole, and trifluzamide, the sum of whose concentrations amounts to a maximum of 27% w / w. Furthermore, this formulation contains an antifreeze and only 0.9% w / w of pigment for seed coloring. Moreover, it is a more complex composition from the point of view of insecticide use, since it includes a third active ingredient. Additionally, an adherent is used in significant concentrations, namely 0.5% w / w, said adherent being polyvinyl alcohol vinyl acetate.

[0021] The prior art CN105494410, finally, discloses an FS formulation of thiamethoxam, chlorantraniliprole, and fipronil, the sum of whose concentrations amounts to a maximum of 35% w / w. Although it uses a reasonable amount of dye, at a maximum of 3% w / w, this composition uses antifreeze and ionic agronomic excipients. Furthermore, it is a more complex composition from the point of view of insecticide use, since it presents a third active ingredient.

[0022] In this way, the state of the art would benefit from the advent of a simple FS formulation of thiamethoxam and chlorantraniliprole, comprising a high concentration of said active ingredients, free of ionic agronomic excipients and antifreeze, and comprising a A safe and efficient concentration of dye for seed marking. Consequently, the use and production process, which are the subject of the present invention, are characterized by another differentiating factor.

[0023] Furthermore, the insecticide formulation also represents an alternative formulation to the state of the art, achieving results through different technical approaches, both from a product and a process perspective. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0054] The oxirane polymer with phenyl oxirane and trimethylhexyl ether 50% is preferably of the Break-Thru DA 675 brand. Especially in the case of this component, it should be understood that its description throughout this patent application is limited to the information disclosed by the manufacturer, namely Evonik. Because it is a... Due to the trade secret of said supplier, it was not possible to include more specific information about this polymer and further details of its molecular structure in this report. For a person skilled in the art to reproduce the present invention without undue experimentation, it is sufficient to use this polymer, essentially produced by Evonik. Any technological updates to this product are also acceptable, provided there are no substantial molecular modifications.

[0055] The red pigment is preferably from the brands Vermelho Agro 2B (4813), Vermelho Agro RB (4813), Sudacolor Red 563, Brilliant red BBC or Red 2GP.

[0056] Polyvinyl alcohol 10% is preferably from the brands Binder AT 10, Binder AT20 or Mowiol 10%.

[0057] Xanthan gum 2% is preferably from the brands Rhodopol 23P, Agrhopol 23W, Keltrol SF, Actigum CX9.

[0058] If 1,2-Benzisothiazolin-3-one is not a component included in the 2% xanthan gum formulation, said preservative may be isolated and independently added to the insecticide formulation. Said component may be that marketed under the brands Proxel GL 20, Acticide DB20, Nipacide BIT 20 or IPEL BP 20.

[0059] As observed, the insecticide formulation comprises few agronomic excipients, and these excipients, namely the antifoaming agent, dispersant, adhesive, and thickener, are in significantly reduced concentrations compared to prior art formulations. For polyvinyl alcohol, for example, only 0.1% mA / (10% of the polyvinyl alcohol formulation described in Table 1) was necessary, a quantity sufficient for effective adhesion of the formulation to the seeds. The quantity of the red pigment was not sacrificed, as occurs in prior art formulations. This was possible due to the reduced quantity of the other agronomic excipients. The reduced quantity of said excipients The agronomic effectiveness of this formulation was only possible due to the strategic selection of each excipient, which consists of polydimethylsiloxane, oxirane polymer with phenyl oxirane and trimethylhexyl ether 50%, polyvinyl alcohol 10%, and xanthan gum 2% – it is also noteworthy that water makes up almost half of the composition, which makes the insecticidal formulation environmentally friendly. In addition to the strategic selection of each agronomic excipient, it was also necessary to adjust the concentration of each one. The inventors of the present invention, through various experiments, achieved the formulation described in Table 1, said formulation being stable and agronomically effective, as will be seen below.

[0060] Table 2: A preferred example of an insecticide formulation comprising thiamethoxam and chlorantraniliprole, said example showing the respective concentrations of each component, in % m / m and their function - the concentrations in % m / m described below correspond to the concentrations in % mA / eg / L in Table 1. [0061] For the purposes of better understanding this example, which refers to the description of the production process of the insecticide formulation described in Tables 1 and 2, it should be understood that the concentrations of the components described herein are exactly those as described in said Tables 1 and 2, and in any of the units of measurement specified herein (% m / V, g / L or % m / m).

[0062] In this preferred, non-exclusive example, the insecticide formulation production process comprises the following steps: (1) In a formulating tank, add a fraction of the water and activate the agitation system at 300 rpm at 20 °C - the amount of water in this step is 90% of that specified in tables 1 or 2; (2) Add the polydimethylsiloxane and stir for 5 minutes at 300 rpm at 20 °C - the amount of polydimethylsiloxane in this step is 100% of that specified in tables 1 or 2; (3) Add the oxirane polymer with phenyl oxirane and trimethylhexyl ether 50% and stir for 20 minutes at 300 rpm at 20 °C - the amount of oxirane polymer with phenyl oxirane and trimethylhexyl ether 50% of this step is 100% of that specified in tables 1 or 2; (4) Add the thiamethoxam and stir for 10 minutes at 300 rpm at 20 °C - the amount of thiamethoxam in this step is 100% of that specified in tables 1 or 2; (5) Add the chlorantraniliprole and stir for 10 minutes at 300 rpm at 20 °C - the amount of chlorantraniliprole in this step is 100% of that specified in tables 1 or 2; (6) Add the red pigment and stir for 5 minutes at 300 rpm at 20 °C - the amount of red pigment in this step is 100% of that specified in tables 1 or 2; (7) Grind until particles of size (dgs) between 4 and 7 micrometers are obtained and zero or negligible retention is obtained on a 325 mesh; (8) check the particle size on an analyzer and parallel control on a 325 mesh grid; if it is in accordance with the control parameters specified in step (7), proceed to the next step; otherwise, continue grinding for the time required to obtain such size and mesh characteristics; (9) Add the 10% polyvinyl alcohol and stir for 10 minutes at 300 rpm at 20 °C - the amount of 10% polyvinyl alcohol in this step is 100% of that specified in tables 1 or 2; (10) Add 2% xanthan gum and stir for 10 minutes at 300 rpm at 20 °C - the amount of 2% xanthan gum in this step is 100% of that specified in tables 1 or 2; (11) add a second fraction of the water and stir for 15 minutes at 300 rpm at 20 °C - the amount of water in this step is 10% of that specified in tables 1 or 2; and (12) perform a physical-chemical / chromatographic control of the final product obtained in step (11) and also a quality control for approval - the parameters involved in these control steps must comply with the technical specifications described in table 3.

[0063] With regard to the process described above, it should be noted that grinding in step (7) is carried out by means of cooling and recirculation, so that the temperature must be maintained in the range of 25 ± 12 °C.

[0064] Grinding can be performed in a Hockmeyer immersion vertical bead mill (laboratory scale), a LM horizontal bead mill (industrial scale), or a Hockmeyer immersion vertical bead mill (industrial scale).

[0065] When the Hockmeyer vertical immersion bead mill (laboratory scale) is used, grinding must be carried out for 1 hour until the control parameters specified in step (7) are met.

[0066] When the horizontal pearl mill (industrial scale) is used, grinding must be carried out in cycles and at the end of each cycle particle size monitoring and a 325 mesh test are performed. The cycles are performed until the control parameters specified in step (7) are met and their duration is randomly chosen by the operator.

[0067] When the Hockmeyer vertical immersion bead mill (industrial scale) is used, grinding is initially carried out for 1 hour, followed by particle size monitoring and testing on a 325 mesh screen. If the control parameters specified in step (7) are not met, grinding is repeated in 30-minute cycles until these requirements are met.

[0071] The performance of an agrochemical formulation is directly related to its physicochemical characteristics, which result from the interaction between the active ingredients and the adjuvants that compose it. Table 4 describes which adjuvants contribute to the improvement of each of the formulation's physicochemical properties.

[0072] Table 5: Relationship between adjuvants and the physicochemical characteristics favored in the formulation. Ingredients that directly influence physicochemical parameters Polydimethylsiloxane, dispersant, dye appearance Red pigment color Water (as the main solvent), pH dispersant (can buffer) Water, technical assets (denser), Density a v xanthan gum Viscosity: Xanthan gum, polyvinyl alcohol Particle size (d98) Dispersant, xanthan gum Dispersing mesh test Xanthan gum, dispersant, polyvinyl Stability at 54 °C alcohol, absence of antagonistic reactions between the active ingredients.

[0073] The formulation was developed with the aim of presenting ideal physicochemical characteristics for seed treatment. Analysis of the results described in Table 4, together with Table 5, shows that certain adjuvants contributed directly to obtaining the desired parameters. For example, the viscosity of 44.37 seconds is associated with the presence of xanthan gum and polyvinyl alcohol, while the particle size (d98) of 3.52 µm and the fulfillment of the mesh tests indicate the effective action of the dispersing system. The reddish coloration, corresponding to the Pantone 185C standard, is consistent with the use of red pigment as a dye, favoring the visual traceability of the treatment in the seeds.

[0074] It is also observed that the stability of the formulation at 54 °C and the homogeneous appearance were favored by the presence of thickeners, dispersants, and the absence of antagonistic interactions between the active ingredients, as indicated by the results obtained. The density of 1.238 g / mL can be attributed to the contribution of the technical active ingredients and the presence of water as a solvent, while the pH of 7.42 reflects the balance between the aqueous components and the buffering system provided by some adjuvants.

[0075] Thus, the data obtained demonstrate that the careful selection of adjuvants positively impacted the physicochemical properties of the formulation, resulting in a stable product suitable for seed treatment. The good results in the quality tests reinforce the compatibility between the formulation ingredients and the efficiency of the adjuvants used. Example 5

[0076] The insecticide formulation was also subjected to thermal stability tests at temperatures of 0 and 54 °C.

[0077] Based on the observed results, the insecticide formulation maintained the physicochemical properties of all parameters described in Table 3.

[0078] Therefore, this formulation is stable at room temperature for at least 2 years, as well as exhibiting stability in climatic conditions under reduced temperatures. Example 6

[0079] Efficacy tests were performed using the insecticide formulation in order to quantitatively identify the control provided in the field.

[0080] Efficacy tests were conducted on insect control in rice, bean, corn, soybean, and cotton crops. In all trials, the results demonstrated satisfactory performance of the insecticide formulation in combating the target pests, particularly in soybean and corn crops, detailed data of which are found in Tables 6 to 10 of the present invention.

[0086] The results obtained from the efficacy trials demonstrate that the formulation composed of thiamethoxam and chlorantraniliprole exhibits high efficiency in controlling pests belonging to different entomological orders when applied to various agricultural crops. This superior performance is due to the complementary action of the two active ingredients, which act through distinct mechanisms and on different groups of insects.

[0087] Chlorantraniliprole, an anthranilic diamide, is highly effective against chewing pests of the order Lepidoptera, such as the fall armyworm, by acting as a modulator of ryanodine receptors, promoting the uncontrolled release of calcium in the muscles of the larvae, which This results in paralysis and death of the insect. On the other hand, thiamethoxam, a systemic neonicotinoid, exhibits excellent action against sucking pests, such as whiteflies, by interfering with nicotinic acetylcholine receptors in the central nervous system of insects.

[0088] The combination of these two ingredients allows for a significant broadening of the control spectrum, giving the formulation the ability to act simultaneously on pests with different feeding habits and resistance mechanisms. Furthermore, it was observed that the residual effect of the application extends for up to 30 days after treatment, which represents an important agronomic advantage by reducing the number of applications required and, consequently, the cost and environmental impact of chemical pest management.

[0089] The observed agronomic efficacy is intrinsically linked to the physicochemical properties of the formulation, which favor the stability of the active ingredients, uniformity in application, and adherence to the biological target. The careful selection of adjuvants and the compatibility between the components of the mixture contribute to ensuring the consistent performance of the product, optimizing the release and absorption of the active ingredients by the seeds and seedlings. Therefore, the technical performance is not only due to the complementary action of the active ingredients, but also to the physicochemical quality of the formulation as a whole.

[0090] These results indicate that the combination of thiamethoxam and chlorantraniliprole constitutes an innovative and effective strategy in integrated pest management, contributing to increased agricultural productivity and the sustainability of the cropping system. Example 7

[0091] To evaluate the formulation's effectiveness in the initial development of corn plants, tests of average plant stand and percentage of emergence were conducted, crucial parameters for estimating... The success of crop establishment (Table 11). Such evaluations are particularly important due to the presence of soil pests, such as the fall armyworm (Spodoptera frugiperda), in its initial stage known as cutworm, and the lesser cornstalk borer (Elasmopalpus lignosellus), which attack the seedling's collar, causing it to rupture and compromising plant emergence. This damage significantly reduces the final crop stand and directly affects the productive potential. Thus, efficient protection at this stage is essential to ensure proper crop establishment and the agronomic performance of the treatment.

[0092] Table 11: Percentage of emergence (% Emg) in the treatment using an insecticide formulation of chlorantraniliprole (“chlorantra”) and thiamethoxam (“thiame”) at 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 days after planting (DAP) in a corn crop attacked by fall armyworm (Spodoptera frugiperda). [0093] The results presented in the table indicate that there was an initial attack by soil caterpillars soon after sowing, as evidenced by the low emergence percentages observed at 6 days. After planting, especially at doses of 50 ml and 300 ml per 60,000 seeds, emergence was only 20.8% and 16.7%, respectively. However, as the days progressed, treatments with the chlorantraniliprole + thiamethoxam combination demonstrated rapid stand recovery, reaching emergence percentages above 90% by 7 or 8 DAP (days after planting), suggesting effective pest control at the tested doses. These data reinforce the formulation's efficiency in managing subterranean pests that hinder the initial establishment of the corn crop.

[0094] It is also observed that, in some treatments, the emergence percentage values exceeded 100%, as in the case of the 50 ml dose at 9 and 10 DAP (102.1% and 110.4%, respectively), and the 150 ml dose at 9 DAP (106.3%). It is believed that these results are due to operational variations in the sowing machinery, which in the field can result in the deposition of a slightly higher quantity of seeds than predicted by the theoretical calculation adopted for the experiment. Therefore, these deviations do not invalidate the results, but indicate a real seed density higher than initially estimated, which should be considered in the agronomic interpretation of the data. Example 8

[0095] Given that the agrochemical formulation was developed for application in seed treatment, the treated seeds were subjected to germination tests, the results of which in bean crops will be presented in Table 12.

[0096] Table 12: Results of germination and vigor tests of common bean seeds (Phaseolus vulgaris), cultivar IPR Uiramutã, treated with experimental agrochemical formulation. Germination (%) Identification / Treatment > Normal Abnormal Dead T1 89 6 5 . T2. 91. 6. 3. Crop season 2024 / 202.

[0097] The results demonstrated that the agrochemical formulation did not compromise the germination of the treated seeds. A high percentage of normal seedlings was observed, ranging from 86% to 91% in the different batches evaluated, indicating that the formulation is physiologically safe for application to bean seeds. The percentage of abnormal seedlings and dead seeds remained low in all treatments, reinforcing the compatibility of the formulation with the biological material.

[0098] These data indicate that applying the product via seed treatment does not negatively affect germination performance, and is compatible with maintaining vigor and initial crop establishment under appropriate sowing conditions.

[0099] The observed results reflected the formulation as a whole, that is, the strategically chosen components and their concentrations. The method by which the formulation was obtained also had a direct influence. It should be noted that even in the absence of antifreeze, the insecticidal formulation maintained its stability, which is one of the distinguishing features of the present invention.

[0100] Regarding agronomic tests, the insecticide formulation showed high efficacy, being efficient in treating a variety of crop seeds and their respective targets, such as those described in the application of the present invention. It should be mentioned that the efficiency of said formulation is a reflection of its high physicochemical stability, the nature of the active ingredients, the influence of the agronomic excipients and their concentrations on the biological action of said active ingredients.

[0101] Furthermore, the way in which the insecticide formulation is produced also influences its physicochemical and agronomic properties.

[0102] It should be understood that the present description does not limit the application to the details described herein and that the invention is capable of other embodiments and of being practiced or performed in a variety of ways, within the scope of the claims. Although specific terms have been used, such terms should be interpreted in a generic and descriptive sense, and not for the purpose of limitation.
