[0026] The present disclosure describes methods and devices for determining information for  multi-carrier scheduling.

[0027] The 4th Generation mobile communication technology (4G) Long-Term Evolution (LTE) or LTE-Advance (LTE-A) and the 5th Generation mobile communication technology (5G) face more and more demands. Based on the current development trend, new generations of wireless systems (e.g., 5G, 6G, etc. ) are developing supports on features of enhanced mobile broadband (eMBB) , ultra-reliable low-latency communication (URLLC) , and massive machine-type communication (mMTC) . Carrier Aggregation (CA) can be both used in 4G and 5G and further communication system.

[0028] In some implementations with legacy CA, scheduling mechanism may only allow scheduling of single cell physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) and / or physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) , or PUSCH / PDSCH per a scheduling downlink control information (DCI) . With more available scattered spectrum bands, the need of simultaneous scheduling of multiple cells / carriers is expected to be increasing. To reduce the control overhead, it is beneficial to extend from single-cell / carrier scheduling to multi-cell / carrier PUSCH / PDSCH scheduling with a single DCI.

[0030] In case different subcarrier spacing (SCS) and / or carrier type can be supported for  multi-carrier scheduling, with one or multiple PDSCH / PUSCH can be scheduled on each scheduled cell, the size of fields with independent indication are required to increase, how to further reduce the size of DCI format 0_3 / 1_3 should be resolved.

[0031] Various embodiments in the present disclosure may use one of the component carrier, a carrier, or a cell as non-limiting examples for easy description, and the present disclosure is not limited by such exemplary description, instead, the present disclosure is generally applicable for any one of component carrier (CC) , a carrier, or a cell.

[0032] FIG. 1 shows a wireless communication system 100 including a wireless network node (or a wireless communication node) 118 and one or more user equipment (UE) (or a wireless communication device or terminal) 110. The wireless network node may include a network base station, which may be a nodeB (NB, e.g., a gNB, eNB, or xNB) in a mobile telecommunications context. Each of the UE may wirelessly communicate with the wireless network node via one or more radio channels 115 for downlink / uplink communication. For example, a first UE 110 may wirelessly communicate with a wireless network node 118 via a channel including a plurality of radio channels during a certain period of time. The network base station 118 may send high layer signaling to the UE 110. The high layer signaling may include configuration information for communication between the UE and the base station. In one implementation, the high layer signaling may include a radio resource control (RRC) message.

[0040] In some implementations for a normal Case 1, the DCI size and / or BD / CCE of the PDCCH carried the multi-cell scheduling DCI are counted on a reference cell among the set of cells, wherein the reference cell is the scheduled cell configured with search space associated the DCI format 0_3 / 1_3. BD refers to blind decode, which is corresponding to the maximum number  of monitored PDCCH candidates per slot / span for a downlink (DL) bandwidth part (BWP) with SCS configuration μ∈ {0, 1, 2, 3} for a single serving cell; and CCE refers to control channel element, which is corresponding to the maximum number of non-overlapped CCEs per slot / span for a DL BWP with SCS configuration μ∈ {0, 1, 2, 3} for a single serving cell.

[0041] In some implementations for type-1B field, the size of a type-1B field in the DCI format 0_3 / 1_3 is equal to ceiling (log2 (N) ) , where N is the number of rows in RRC-configured table with each row containing multiple indexes for all cells within the set of cells. The Type-1B field indicates one row of the configured table. The type-1B index for a cell points to a corresponding index in a RRC configured table applicable for DCI format 0_1 / 1_1 or MAC CE activated values. For a type-2 field, the size of a per cell type-2 field in the DCI format 0_3 / 1_3 is determined based on active BWP for each cell.

[0042] In some implementations with one or multiple PDSCH / PUSCH being scheduled on each scheduled cell, the size of fields with independent indication are required to increase. Referring to FIG. 4B, a single MC-DCI (e.g., DCI format 0_3 / 1_3) carried by PDCCH can be used to scheduling one or multiple PxSCH on a scheduled cell, for example, scheduling 4 PxSCHs on cell 2, and / or scheduling 1 PxSCH on cell 3, wherein PxSCH can be any of PDSCH or PUSCH.

[0060] Embodiment Set I

[0061] The present disclosure describes various embodiments for determining information for multi-carrier scheduling in a wireless communication system.

[0062] In some implementations with multi-cell scheduling with the normal Case 1 as shown in FIG. 4A, a scheduled cell can be only configured with one scheduling cell and a single MC-DCI carried by PDCCH can be used to scheduling multi-PxSCH on multi-cell, with each PxSCH on one cell. The type 2 fields, such as new data indicator (NDI) , redundancy version (RV) may be indicated separately for each scheduled cell.

[0063] In some implementations, the NDI corresponds a number of bits determined by the following: block number 1, block number 2, …, block number Each block corresponds to the new data indicator for a cell, and the blocks are placed according to an ascending order of a serving cell index, with block number 1 corresponding to the new data indicator for the cell with the smallest serving cell index. Each block is 1 bit.

[0064] In some implementations, the RV corresponds to a number of bits determined by the following: block number 1, block number 2, …, block number Each block corresponds to the redundancy version for a cell, and the blocks are placed according to an ascending order of a serving cell index, with block number 1 corresponding to the redundancy version for the cell with the smallest serving cell index. Each block is 0, 1 or 2 bits determined by higher layer parameter numberOfBitsForRV-DCI-1-3 configured for the cell corresponding to the block.

[0065] In some implementations, when one or multiple PDSCH / PUSCH can be scheduled on each scheduled cell, the size of fields with independent indication are required to increase. Referring to FIG. 4B, a scheduled cell can be only configured with one scheduling cell and a single MC-DCI carried by PDCCH can be used to scheduling multi-PxSCH on multi-cell, with one or multiple PxSCH on one cell, wherein PxSCH can be PDSCH or PUSCH.

[0066] In some implementations, the type 2 fields, such as NDI and / or RV, are indicated separately for each scheduled PxSCH. However, when each cell of a cell set comprising 4 cells are all configured / supported with up to 8 PxSCHs, the size of NDI+RV could be 64 bits (=4x8x2) , which may be reduced by one of following schemes.

[0067] For one scheme (Scheme 1) , a DCI field (e.g., field (s) for NDI and / or RV) in a DCI format is separately indicated for different scheduled cells and different groups of TB (s)  / PxSCH (s) for a scheduled cell. That is, the DCI field is shared indicated for one or multiple TB (s)  / PxSCH (s) in a group of TB (s)  / PxSCH (s) for a scheduled cell. In some implementations, one PxSCH could comprise one TB or two TBs, for example, a PDSCH may comprise one or two TBs, and a PUSCH may comprise one TB.

[0068] In some implementations, NDI or RV are separated indicated for different scheduled cells and different groups of TB (s)  / PxSCH (s) for each scheduled cell when multiple PxSCH scheduling is also configured / supported on this cell. The TB / PxSCH group for NDI / RV shared indication could be configured independently, or associated with TB bundling group for HARQ-ACK feedback. As a result, same value is applied for the multiple TB (s)  / PxSCH (s) in a TB / PxSCH group. For a non-limiting example, one TB / PxSCH group is configured for a cell in one cell set, as a result, one bit of NDI or RV shall be used to indicate for all the TB (s)  / PxSCH (s) on the cell. For example, two TB / PxSCH groups are configured for a cell in one cell set, as a result for each group, one bit of NDI or RV shall be used to indicate for all the TB (s)  / PxSCH (s) within the group on the cell. Furthermore, in case there are four TBs / PxSCHs on the cell, the first group comprises the first two TBs / PxSCHs, the second group comprises the last two TBs / PxSCHs.

[0069] In some implementations, several alternative approaches may exist. For one alternative approach (Alternative 1) , the group applied for HARQ-ACK TB bundling group in time domain is also applied for the NDI or RV shared indication. For example, for a cell in one cell set, four groups are configured for HARQ-ACK TB bundling in time domain, the four groups are also applied for the NDI or RV shared indication. As a result for each group, one bit of NDI or RV may be used to indicate for all the TB (s)  / PxSCH (s) within the group on the cell.

[0070] For another alternative approach (Alternative 2) , the group applied for HARQ-ACK TB bundling group in spatial domain is also applied for the NDI or RV shared indication. For example,  for a cell in one cell set, HARQ-ACK TB bundling in spatial domain is configured, as a result for the two TBs of a PDSCH, one bit of NDI or RV may be used to indicate for the two TBs within one PDSCH on the cell.

[0071] For another alternative approach (Alternative 3) , a number of group (s) (e.g., N1 group (s) ) applied for HARQ-ACK TB bundling group in time domain are also applied for the NDI or RV shared indication, wherein N1 is an integer, i.e., 1, 2, 4. That is, one group for NDI or RV shared indication may be applied for N1 group (s) for HARQ-ACK TB bundling group in time domain. For example, for a cell in one cell set, four groups are configured for HARQ-ACK TB bundling in time domain, two groups for HARQ-ACK TB bundling group in time domain are also applied for the NDI or RV shared indication, that is N1=2. As a result for each two groups of HARQ-ACK TB bundling in time domain, one bit of NDI or RV shall be used to indicate for all the TB (s)  / PxSCH (s) within the two groups of TBs for HARQ-ACK bundling on the cell.

[0072] For another scheme (Scheme 2) , a DCI field in a DCI format is separately indicated for different scheduled cells, and jointly indicated for multiple TB (s)  / PxSCH (s) on a scheduled cell based on a predefined / configured pattern table. One PxSCH could comprise one TB or two TBs.

[0073] For example, NDI or RV are separated indicated for different scheduled cells, and jointly indicated for multiple TB (s)  / PxSCH (s) on a scheduled cell based on a predefined or configured pattern table, for each scheduled cell when multiple PxSCH scheduling is also configured / supported on this cell. For example, each RV block for a scheduled cell is used to indicate a RV pattern applied for multiple TBs / PxSCHs. For example as shown in Table 1, a RV block with 2 bits to indicate one of up to 4 RV patterns, assume up to 8 PDSCHs can be scheduled on one cell. If less than 8 PDSCHs are scheduled on one cell, the unused element of one indicated entry of the RV pattern table can be reserved, discarded or ignored by the UE.

[0074] Table 1 RV pattern

[0075] In some implementations, alternatively, RV pattern based indication may be applied for  no less than 3 (or larger than 2) TBs / PxSCHs scheduled on one cell, (i.e., ≥ 3 or >2 ) , or among 3 to 8 (first value set) TBs / PxSCHs scheduled on one cell. That is, in case there is / are one or two TBs / PxSCHs (second value set) scheduled on one cell, using independent RV indication for each TBs / PxSCHs.

[0076] In some implementations, alternatively, RV pattern based indication may be applied for no less than 2 (or larger than 1) TBs / PxSCHs scheduled on one cell, (i.e., ≥ 2 or >1 ) , or among 2 to 8 (first value set) TBs / PxSCHs scheduled on one cell. That is, in case there is one (second value set) TB / PxSCH scheduled on one cell, using independent RV indication for each TBs / PxSCHs.

[0077] Besides above two examples, other values (i.e., integer) or value sets may be also applicable.

[0078] For another scheme (Scheme 3) , a DCI field in a DCI format is separately indicated for different scheduled cells, and jointly indication for above two DCI fields for multiple TB(s)  / PxSCH (s) on a scheduled cell based on a predefined rule. One PxSCH could comprise one TB or two TBs.

[0079] For example, NDI or RV are separated indicated for different scheduled cells, and NDI and RV are jointly indicated for multiple TB (s)  / PxSCH (s) on a scheduled cell based on a predefined rule. In some implementations, the rule is that, value 0 means RV 0 and initial transmission, value 1 means RV 2 and retransmission.

[0080] Various embodiments described in the present disclosure may have the following benefits: when DCI format 0_3 / 1_3 are configured to schedule multiple cells / carriers with at least one scheduled cell configured with multiple PDSCH / PUSCH scheduling, how to reduce the size of type-2 field of DCI format 0_3 / 1_3 is resolved by using the shared indication for a group of TB / PDSCH / PUSCH with one or multiple groups of TB / PDSCH / PUSCH configured, or by joint indication for the multiple PDSCHs / PUSCHs scheduled on one cell. It is beneficial for a UE to monitoring a single size of one DCI format in an active BWP without being larger than the DCI size threshold.

[0081] Embodiment Set II

[0082] The present disclosure describes various embodiments for determining information for  multi-carrier scheduling in a wireless communication system.

[0083] In some implementations with multi-cell scheduling with the normal Case 1 as shown in FIG. 4A, a scheduled cell may be only configured with one scheduling cell and a single MC-DCI carried by PDCCH can be used to scheduling multi-PxSCH on multi-cell, with each PxSCH on one cell, wherein PxSCH can be PDSCH or PUSCH. The HARQ-ACK information bits are generated for each scheduled cell.

[0084] In some implementations with multi-PDSCH scheduling for one cell, the HARQ-ACK information bits are generated for each scheduled PDSCH, or the HARQ-ACK information bits are generated for each group of TBs / PDSCHs if HARQ-ACK TB bundling is configured.

[0085] In some implementations, when one or multiple PDSCH / PUSCH can be scheduled on each scheduled cell, the size of HARQ-ACK information bits are required to increase per DCI. As a result, time domain HARQ-ACK bundling can be supported for a cell with multi-PDSCH scheduling is configured / supported.

[0086] In some implementations, when each cell of a cell set comprising 4 cells are all configured / supported with up to 8 PxSCHs, and more than one group of HARQ-ACK bundling are configured for at least one cell of the cell set, the size of HARQ-ACK information bits may be increased, which may be reduced in size by one of following schemes.

[0087] For one scheme (Scheme 1) , HARQ-ACK bundling in time domain and spatial domain. That is, HARQ-ACK bundling are performed among two TBs of each PDSCH, and multiple PDSCHs within one group.

[0088] In some implementations, alternatively, scheme 1 is only applied for the cell configured with multi-PDSCHs scheduling, and HARQ-ACK spatial bundling for PUCCH or PUSCH is configured per cell instead of per PUCCH cell group.

[0089] In some implementations, alternatively, spatial domain HARQ-ACK bundling can be applied for all cells in a cell set. That is, for the cell without multi-PDSCH scheduling configured, HARQ-ACK bundling in spatial domain can be also supported.

[0090] For another scheme (Scheme 2) , HARQ-ACK bundling in frequency domain, optionally combined with time domain and / or spatial domain. That is, HARQ-ACK bundling are performed  among TBs from different cells within a group for HARQ-ACK bundling in frequency domain, optionally combined with among two TBs of each PDSCH, and / or multiple PDSCHs within one group for HARQ-ACK bundling in time domain on one cell.

[0091] In some implementations, alternatively, scheme 2 can be configured per PUCCH cell group or cell set. For example, a cell set comprises 4 cells, two groups are configured for HARQ-ACK bundling in frequency domain. As a result, the cell (s) comprised in one group are determined by cell index within the cell set and the number of configured groups for HARQ-ACK bundling in frequency domain. That is, the first group comprises the first two cells in the cell set, the second grop comprises the last two cells in the cell set.

[0092] In some implementations, alternatively, the cell (s) comprised in one group are determined by RRC configuration. For example, two groups are configured and the first group comprises the cell#0 / 1 / 2 in the cell set, the second group comprises the cell#3 in the cell set. In some implementations, cell#0 / 1 / 2 are located on the bands with frequency in 700 / 800 / 900MHz, cell#3 is located on the band with frequency in 2GHz.

[0093] In some implementations, alternatively, the bits order is determined by cell group loop instead of cell loop in the HARQ-ACK information bits generation operation. Or the bits order is determined by cell loop including the other cells in the same cell group in the HARQ-ACK information bits generation operation. Wherein the cell group is used for HARQ-ACK bundling in frequency domain.

[0094] In some implementations, the group used for HARQ-ACK bundling in frequency domain and / or time domain and / or spatial domain can be applied for scheme 1 in Embodiment Set I.

[0095] Various embodiments described in the present disclosure may have the following benefits: when DCI format 0_3 / 1_3 are configured to schedule multiple cells / carriers with at least one scheduled cell configured with multiple PDSCH / PUSCH scheduling, how to reduce the size of HARQ-ACK information bits is resolved by using the HARQ-ACK bundling in frequency domain and / or time domain and / or spatial domain. It is beneficial for a UE to generate the HARQ-ACK bits with a reasonable size.

[0096] Embodiment Set III

[0097] The present disclosure describes various embodiments for determining information for multi-carrier scheduling in a wireless communication system.

[0098] In some implementations with multi-cell scheduling with the normal Case 1 as shown in FIG. 4A, a scheduled cell can be only configured with one scheduling cell and a single MC-DCI carried by PDCCH can be used to scheduling multi-PxSCH on multi-cell, with each PxSCH on one cell, wherein PxSCH can be PDSCH or PUSCH. The HARQ-ACK information bits are generated for each scheduled cell.

[0099] When the subcarrier spacing of the scheduled cell in a cell set are different, various embodiments include method for ensuring a minimum process time for HARQ-ACK feedback carried in PUCCH / PUSCH to be determined. In some implementations referring to FIG. 6A, different SCS are configured / used in a set of cells, the minimum process time Tproc,1for HARQ-ACK feedback determined based on the last ending PDSCH may not be the maximum Tproc,1 value among co-scheduled PDSCHs. For example, cell #0 and cell #1 may have a SCS of 30 kHz, and cell #2 and cell #3 may have a SCS of 15 kHz.

[0100] In some implementations, when the first uplink symbol of the PUCCH which carries the HARQ-ACK information, as defined by the assigned HARQ-ACK timing K1 and Koffset, if configured, and the PUCCH resource to be used and including the effect of the timing advance, starts no earlier than at symbol L1, where L1 is defined as the next uplink symbol with its CP starting after Tproc,1=(N1+d1,1+d2+d3)(2048+144)·κ2-μ·Tc+Text after the end of the last symbol of the PDSCH carrying the TB being acknowledged, then the UE may provide a valid HARQ-ACK message. For a PDSCH with disabled HARQ-ACK feedback, Tproc,1=(N1+d1,1+d2)(2048+144)·κ2-μ·Tc+Text. N1 is based on μ for UE processing capability, where μ corresponds to the one of (μPDCCH, μPDSCH, μUL) resulting with the largest Tproc, 1, where the μPDCCH corresponds to the subcarrier spacing of the PDCCH scheduling the PDSCH, the μPDSCH corresponds to the subcarrier spacing of the scheduled PDSCH, and μUL corresponds to the subcarrier spacing of the uplink channel with which the HARQ-ACK is assumed to be transmitted for PDSCH with or without disabled HARQ-ACK feedback, and κ may be pre-defined.

[0101] In some implementations, referring to FIG. 6A showing multi-cell / carrier scheduling  with different SCS, the PUCCH resource indicated by the DCI format 1_3 is after the Tproc,1determined by the reference PDSCH which is the PDSCH ending last as indicated in the DCI format 1_3 among the set of co-scheduled PDSCHs. However, PUCCH resource is earlier than the minimum process time Tproc,1 for PDSCH in CC3, leading to insufficient processing time for the PDSCH in CC3. Various embodiments implement one of following schemes to ensure sufficient processing time for all the PDSCHs scheduled by DCI format 1_3.

[0102] For one scheme (Scheme 1) , the minimum process time is determined by subcarrier spacing of all scheduled PDSCH by one DCI. That is, the μPDSCH corresponds to the each subcarrier spacing of the scheduled PDSCHs by one DCI. In some implementations, the first uplink symbol of the PUCCH which carries the HARQ-ACK information starts no earlier than the minimum process time. For an example as shown in FIG. 6B, the reference PDSCH is the PDSCH ending last as indicated in the DCI format 1_3 among the set of co-scheduled PDSCHs, the minimum process time is determined by μPDSCH corresponds to the each subcarrier spacing of the scheduled PDSCHs by one DCI.

[0103] In some implementations, alternatively, the minimum process time is determined by largest minimum process time of all scheduled / configured PDSCHs by one DCI.

[0104] For another scheme (Scheme 2) , the reference PDSCH is determined by associating with the latest PUCCH derived by the minimum process time of each scheduled PDSCH / cell in a cell set scheduled by one DCI. In some implementations, the first uplink symbol of the PUCCH which carries the HARQ-ACK information starts no earlier than the minimum process time derived by the reference PDSCH. For example as shown in FIG. 6C, the reference PDSCH is the PDSCH associating with the latest PUCCH derived by the minimum process time of each scheduled PDSCH / cell in a cell set scheduled by one DCI, the minimum process time is determined by the reference PDSCH.

[0105] Various embodiments described in the present disclosure may have the following benefits: when DCI format 0_3 / 1_3 are configured to schedule multiple cells / carriers with different subcarrier spacing, how to ensure the sufficient processing time for all the PDSCHs scheduled by DCI format 1_3 is resolved by using the largest minimum process time of all the scheduled PDSCHs or changing the reference PDSCH. It is beneficial for a UE to generate the HARQ-ACK  bits within a reasonable minimum process time.

[0106] Embodiment Set IV

[0107] The present disclosure describes various embodiments for determining information for multi-carrier scheduling in a wireless communication system.

[0108] In some implementations with multi-cell scheduling with the normal Case 1 as shown in FIG.

[0109] Various embodiments describe method for determining a number of DCI processed when the subcarrier spacing of the scheduled cell in a cell set are different.

[0110] In some implementations, for multi carrier scheduling with different SCS, the number of unicast DCI (s) to be monitored is defined per N consecutive slots, where the N is based on the lowest SCS among the cells.

[0111] In some implementations, when different SCSes / carrier types among the co-scheduled cells are supported, the following cases are considered: for example, both high-to-low SCS and low-to-high SCS are simultaneously scheduled by a DCI format 0_3 or 1_3. Some implementations may be used to determine the value of N. For example, N=1 or based on the on pair of (scheduling CC’s SCS, scheduled CC’s SCS) . In some implementations, one straightforward way is to determine N based on pair of (scheduling CC’s SCS, scheduled CC’s SCS) . In some implementations, when there are multiple different SCSes among the scheduled cells, it’ d determined which SCS should be used as the scheduled CC’s SCS, e.g., either the lowest SCS or the highest SCS.

[0112] In some implementations, alternatively, in case there can be multiple different SCSes among the scheduled cells, the SCS used as the scheduled CC’s SCS is determined by SCS of the reference cell in the cell set.

[0113] In some implementations, for multiple PUSCHs / PDSCHs scheduled on a cell by a DCI format 0_3 / 1_3, HARQ process number (HPN) indicated for the cell is applied to the first  scheduled PUSCH / PDSCH and then incremented by 1 for subsequent PUSCHs / PDSCHs on the cell (with modulo operation if needed) . If multiple PUSCHs / PDSCHs scheduled on a cell via DCI format 0_3 / 1_3 are configured, it should be determined the size of each block of the HPN field.

[0114] For example, assuming up to 4 or 8 PDSCHs / PUSCHs can be scheduled on a cell by a DCI format 0_3 / 1_3, if the block corresponding to this cell in HPN field is configured with 3 bits, meaning only HPN = 0~7 can be indicated, the retransmission for a single PDSCH / PUSCH could be impacted due to HPN value cannot be 8 or more. Because the modulo operation may be performed based on the number of HARQ process configured for the cell, which is 32 or 16 for PUSCH. Consequently, a block with 4 or 5 bits of HPN field in DCI format 0_3 is reasonable. While the value for PDSCH could be configured with smaller number (2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 16, 32) , a smaller block size of HPN field for PDSCH scheduling could be feasible. Yet, this is not supported in Rel-16 / 17.

[0115] As a result, it may be recommended that each block of HPN field in a DCI format be 4 or 5 bits, configured by a legacy or new higher layer parameter for the cell configured with multi-PUSCH / PDSCH scheduling.

[0116] In some implementations, when configuring multi-PxSCH scheduling on one cell, the number of HARQ processes that the corresponding block of HPN field in a DCI format can indicate should not be less than the maximum number of PxSCHs that can be scheduled by a DCI for that cell.

[0117] In some implementations, when the cell is not configured with multi-PUSCH / PDSCH scheduling, each block of HPN in a DCI format can be configured with 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 bits.

[0118] In some implementations, for multiple PUSCHs scheduled on multiple cells by a DCI format 0_3, when no cell is not configured with multi-PUSCH scheduling, UL-SCH indicator is 1 bit. A value of "1" indicates UL-SCH shall be transmitted on the PUSCH and a value of "0" indicates UL-SCH shall not be transmitted on the PUSCH. A UE is not expected to receive a DCI format 0_3 with UL-SCH indicator of "0" and CSI request of all zero (s) . This field is applied to the cell with the smallest serving cell index among the scheduled cells indicated by a scheduled cells indicator field or frequency domain resource assignment field. If the cell with the smallest serving cell index among the scheduled cells indicated by the scheduled cells indicator field or frequency  domain resource assignment field is configured with multi-PUSCH scheduling, and the number of scheduled PUSCH indicated by the time domain resource assignment field on the cell is larger than 1, 1 bit with the value of “1” is indicated, or the UE shall ignore or discard the indication. Or the UL-SCH indicator is 0 bit, if the cell with the smallest serving cell index among the scheduled cells indicated by the scheduled cells indicator field or frequency domain resource assignment field is configured with multi-PUSCH scheduling, and the number of scheduled PUSCH indicated by the time domain resource assignment field on the cell is larger than 1.

[0119] The present disclosure describes methods, apparatus, and computer-readable medium for determining information for multi-carrier scheduling for reducing the size of the MC-DCI. The present disclosure addressed the issues with multi-carrier scheduling in a wireless communication system. The methods, devices, and computer-readable medium described in the present disclosure may facilitate the performance of multi-carrier scheduling based communication, thus improving efficiency and overall performance. The methods, devices, and computer-readable medium described in the present disclosure may improves the overall efficiency of the wireless communication systems.

[0120] In various embodiments, a DCI field in a DCI format is separately indicated for different scheduled cells and different groups of TB (s)  / PxSCH (s) for a scheduled cell. That is, the DCI field is shared indicated for one or multiple TB (s)  / PxSCH (s) in a group of TB (s)  / PxSCH (s) for a scheduled cell. And the TB / PxSCH group for NDI / RV shared indication could be configured independently, or associated with TB bundling group for HARQ-ACK feedback. Alternative 1: the group applied for HARQ-ACK TB bundling group in time domain is also applied for the NDI or RV shared indication. Alternative 2: one or multiple group applied for HARQ-ACK TB bundling group in spatial domain is also applied for the NDI or RV shared indication.

[0121] In various embodiments, a DCI field in a DCI format is separately indicated for different scheduled cells, and jointly indicated for multiple TB (s)  / PxSCH (s) on a scheduled cell based on a predefined / configured pattern table. Alternatively, in RV pattern based indication shall be applied for no less than 2 or 3 TBs / PxSCHs scheduled on one cell

[0122] In various embodiments, a HARQ-ACK bundling in time domain and spatial domain. Alternatively, scheme 1 is only applied for the cell configured with multi-PDSCHs scheduling.

[0123] In various embodiments, a HARQ-ACK bundling in frequency domain, optionally combined with time domain and / or spatial domain. Alternatively, scheme 2 can be configured per cell group or cell set. the cell (s) comprised in one group are determined by cell index within the cell set and the number of configured groups for HARQ-ACK bundling in frequency domain. Alternatively, the cell (s) comprised in one group are determined by RRC configuration.

[0124] In various embodiments, methods may be performed to ensure sufficient processing time for all the PDSCHs scheduled by DCI format 1_3. Scheme 1: the minimum process time is determined by subcarrier spacing of all scheduled PDSCH by one DCI. That is, the μPDSCH corresponds to the each subcarrier spacing of the scheduled PDSCHs by one DCI. Scheme 2: the reference PDSCH is determined by associating with the latest PUCCH derived by the minimum process time of each scheduled PDSCH / cell in a cell set scheduled by one DCI.

[0125] In some other embodiments, a computer-readable medium comprising instructions which, when executed by a computer, cause the computer to carry out a portion or all of the above methods. The computer-readable medium may be referred as non-transitory computer-readable media (CRM) that stores data for extended periods such as a flash drive or compact disk (CD) , or for short periods in the presence of power such as a memory device or random access memory (RAM) . In some embodiments, computer-readable instructions may be included in a software, which is embodied in one or more tangible, non-transitory, computer-readable media. Such non-transitory computer-readable media can be media associated with user-accessible mass storage as well as certain short-duration storage that are of non-transitory nature, such as internal mass storage or ROM. The software implementing various embodiments of the present disclosure can be stored in such devices and executed by a processor (or processing circuitry) . A computer-readable medium can include one or more memory devices or chips, according to particular needs. The software can cause the processor (including CPU, GPU, FPGA, and the like) to execute particular processes or particular parts of particular processes described herein, including defining data structures stored in RAM and modifying such data structures according to the processes defined by the software. In various embodiments in the present disclosure, the term “processor” may mean one processor that performs the defined functions, steps, or operations or a plurality of processors that collectively perform defined functions, steps, or operations, such that the execution of the individual defined functions may be divided amongst such plurality of processors.

[0126] Reference throughout this specification to features, advantages, or similar language does not imply that all of the features and advantages that may be realized with the present solution should be or are included in any single implementation thereof. Rather, language referring to the features and advantages is understood to mean that a specific feature, advantage, or characteristic described in connection with an embodiment is included in at least one embodiment of the present solution. Thus, discussions of the features and advantages, and similar language, throughout the specification may, but do not necessarily, refer to the same embodiment.

[0127] Furthermore, the described features, advantages and characteristics of the present solution may be combined in any suitable manner in one or more embodiments, for non-limiting examples, a portion from one or more embodiment may be combined with another portion of other embodiments. One of ordinary skill in the relevant art will recognize, in light of the description herein, that the present solution can be practiced without one or more of the specific features or advantages of a particular embodiment. In other instances, additional features and advantages may be recognized in certain embodiments that may not be present in all embodiments of the present solution.
