By utilizing backscattering technology in IoT systems, terminal nodes generate and feed back backscattering measurement signals during the continuous transmission of carrier measurement signals from the central node. This solves the problem of high-precision ranging and positioning of IoT devices under energy consumption and cost constraints, and realizes the coexistence and improved correlation of carrier measurement signals and backscattering measurement signals in the time domain.

Abstract

A communication method, a communication apparatus, a storage medium, and a program product. The method is applied to a terminal node in an Internet-of-Things system, and comprises: receiving a carrier measurement signal continuously sent by a central node in the Internet-of-Things system; and sending to the central node a backscattering measurement signal generated on the basis of the carrier measurement signal, wherein a sending time of the backscattering measurement signal lies within a time range in which the central node continuously sends the carrier measurement signal.
