Abstract
The purpose of the present invention is to improve maintainability without causing an increase in size of an inkjet printer comprising a heating device. An inkjet printer (1) comprises: a printer body (10); and a heating device (50) for heating a recording medium (5) transported from the printer body (10). The heating device (50) has: a casing (54) for partitioning a heating chamber (52) through which the recording medium (5) passes; a heater (56) disposed in the heating chamber (52); and an exterior cover (80) disposed on the outside of at least a portion of the casing (54). A heat insulating paint (88) is applied to the inner surface of the exterior cover (80).
