Abstract

The present invention recognizes that there exists a long felt need for an alternative to septic tanks for primary solids management in small scale wastewater treatment. A first aspect of the present invention generally relates to a device for compact primary solids separation and stabilization and the direction of the clarified liquid fraction for treatment and / or disposal. A second aspect of the present invention generally relates to method of using such a treatment device.
