[0003] The invention relates to an innovation in a rear sight assembly that is aligned with the front sight and enables a shooter to correctly aim at a target when firing a firearm.
[0004] Background of the Invention
[0005] Today, the rear sight and the front sight for aiming at a target are mounted on the barrel of the rifle. During the aiming process prior to firing, the shooter’s eye is aligned with the rear sight located on the barrel and the front sight positioned at the muzzle end of the barrel, and the trigger is pulled thereafter.
[0006] In the current art, the rear sight used for aiming prior to firing in rifles is either fixed to an upper portion of the barrel, i.e. the part closest to the shooter’s eye, or connected in an adjustable and movable configuration. In rifles equipped with a fixed rear sight, the shooter fires at the intended target to hit the target. Depending on the distance to the point of impact, the shooter aligns the rear sight and the front sight based on personal experience and performs the shot. Rifles equipped with such fixed rear sights may be used by individuals with inadequate experience, such that inexperienced users misalign the sights and therefore fail to hit the intended target.

The invention relates to a rear sight group used in rifled or smoothbore hunting rifles, which is provided on the rifle assembly body (100) and characterized by comprising: - a single-piece rear sight main body (1), - a rear sight elevation adjustment recess (2) positioned within the rear sight main body (1) for performing adjustments, and - a plurality of phosphor openings (3) provided on the rear sight main body (1) to enable visibility during situations requiring reflexive recognition.

[0032] In the following detailed description, the preferred embodiments of the rear sight (A) assembly according to the invention are provided solely for facilitating a clearer understanding of the subject matter.
[0033] For achieving the objectives defined in the section “Object of the Invention,” the present invention consists of the following components (see Figure 1):

[0040] The invention provides a rear sight assembly which enables the correct adjustment of the barrel position based on the point of impact of the ammunition when or after the firearm is fired at a target, thereby allowing a shooter to aim rapidly and accurately to increase hit probability. This structure comprises a sight adjustment wheel (2) for determining a proper aiming angle and position during the aiming process by means of different sighting apertures (9) located thereon.

CLAIMS1. A rear sight assembly that enables a shooter to correctly aim at a target when firing a firearm, characterized by comprising:• a sight adjustment wheel (2) for determining an appropriate aiming angle and position according to the target by using different sighting apertures (9) provided thereon.
2. The sight adjustment wheel (2) according to claim 1 , characterized in that the sight adjustment wheel (2) has an axial rotational movement.
3. The sight adjustment wheel (2) according to claim 1 , characterized in that the sight adjustment wheel (2) comprises sighting apertures (9) at different positions and levels.
4. The sight adjustment wheel (2) according to claim 1 , characterized in that the sight adjustment wheel (2) provides at least three different levels of aiming angles.
5. The sight adjustment wheel (2) according to claim 1 , characterized in that the sight adjustment wheel (2) comprises a detent ball (3) which provides indexing to the aiming position.
