The present invention relates to a contactor (1000) for a system for capturing a gaseous compound, the contactor comprising a contact plate (2000) between the surrounding gas and solid adsorbent particles in a circulating fluidised bed, the contact plate (2000) being arranged in a channel (500) between the surrounding gas inlet (100) and outlet (200) of the contactor. The invention further relates to a system for capturing a gaseous compound using such a contactor, and to a method for capturing a gaseous compound using such a contactor or such a system for the capture thereof.
