A simulation system (10) comprises a simulation device (200) and an in-vehicle device (100), and is for use in allowing a user who wears a virtual space display device (300) inside a vehicle cabin of an automobile to experience a traveling state or an in-vehicle function of the automobile. The in-vehicle device has a vehicle communication unit (102) that transmits vehicle information acquired by an acquisition unit (101) to the simulation device and receives virtual vehicle information of a virtual automobile assumed by the simulation device.
