Abstract
Claims
1. A tire comprising a pair of shoulder main grooves extending in the circumferential direction of the tire, a pair of shoulder land portions partitioned by the shoulder main grooves, and a groove unit formed on at least one of the pair of shoulder land portions, wherein the groove unit has a shoulder lug groove and a shallow groove arranged in parallel with the shoulder lug groove, the shoulder lug groove extends in the tire width direction and intersects the tire contact edge and terminates at one end within the contact surface of the shoulder land portion, and the shallow groove has an L-shape formed by connecting a first groove portion that extends in the tire width direction and intersects the tire contact edge and a second groove portion that extends from the first groove portion toward the shoulder lug groove.
2. The tire according to claim 1, wherein the maximum groove width Xa of the shoulder lug groove is in the range of 0.50 ≤ Xa / Xb ≤ 5.00 with respect to the distance Xb from the first groove portion of the shallow groove to the shoulder lug groove.
3. The tire according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the inclination angle θ1 of the first groove portion of the shallow groove with respect to the circumferential direction of the tire is in the range of 60 [deg] ≤ θ1 ≤ 90 [deg].
4. The tire according to any one of claims 1 to 3, wherein the inclination angle θ1 of the first groove portion of the shallow groove with respect to the circumferential direction of the tire is in the range of -10 [deg] ≤ θg - θ1 ≤ 10 [deg] with respect to the inclination angle θg of the shoulder lug groove with respect to the circumferential direction of the tire.
5. The tire according to any one of claims 1 to 4, wherein the angle θ3 between the first groove portion and the second groove portion of the shallow groove is in the range of 90 [deg] ≤ θ3 ≤ 160 [deg].
6. The tire according to any one of claims 1 to 5, wherein the distance D1 from the end of the shoulder lug groove to the edge of the shoulder land portion is in the range of 0.10 ≤ D1 / W1 ≤ 0.70 with respect to the contact width W1 of the shoulder land portion.
7. The tire according to any one of claims 1 to 6, wherein the maximum groove depth Hs of the shallow groove is in the range of 0.05 ≤ Hs / Hg ≤ 0.30 with respect to the maximum groove depth Hg of the shoulder lug groove.
8. The tire according to any one of claims 1 to 7, wherein each of the pair of shoulder land portions is provided with the groove unit.
9. The tire according to any one of claims 1 to 8, wherein the second groove portion of the shallow groove is connected to the shoulder main groove.
10. The tire according to any one of claims 1 to 9, wherein the shallow groove intersects with or connects to the shoulder lug groove outside the tire contact surface.
11. The tire according to any one of claims 1 to 10, wherein the shoulder portion is provided with circumferentially narrow grooves extending in the circumferential direction of the tire, and at least one of the first groove portion and the second groove portion of the shallow groove intersects the circumferentially narrow grooves.
12. The tire according to any one of claims 1 to 12, wherein the maximum groove width Xc of the first groove portion of the shallow groove is in the range of 0.01 ≤ Xc / Xa ≤ 0.50 with respect to the maximum groove width Xa of the shoulder lug groove.
