Abstract

The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition comprising a 7-amino-2-(hetero)arylquinoline-5,8-dione derivative compound, a stereoisomer thereof, a hydrate thereof, or a salt thereof as an active ingredient for preventing or treating ophthalmic diseases. When a retinopathy model is established by subjecting retinal vascular endothelial cells to various treatments and the compound is applied thereto, an effect of preventing vascular leakage is confirmed, in vivo, thereby indicating that the compound can be usefully employed as a therapeutic agent for ophthalmic diseases.
