Description

[0001] DESCRIPTION

[0002] A VEHICLE USER VERIFICATION SYSTEM

[0003] Technical Field

[0004] The present invention relates to a system which allows a user to be verified after the vehicle user scans an NFC passive card on an NFC module located inside the vehicle after entering the vehicle, and the vehicle to be started after verification.

[0005] Background of the Invention

[0006] NFC (Near Field Communication) is a wireless communication technology used in many different applications. It is possible to enter vehicles by using NFC. However, entries with NFC may cause security problems and user-specific settings cannot be made upon starting the vehicle after entering the vehicle with NFC. For this reason, today, there is a need for a solution which enables the user who enters the vehicle to be subjected to the verification process in order to start the vehicle and after the verification process, the settings relating to the said user to be loaded.

[0007] The Chinese patent document no. CN115733644A, an application included in the state of the art, discloses a system for automatically adjusting in-vehicle personalized configurations in vehicles based on NFC technology. The system is run by the vehicle computer and comprises the steps of: verifying the personvehicle binding relationship by logging in to a cloud server when the vehicle is started; sending a verification request to access to the personal cloud space of the user in response to the successful verification of the person-vehicle binding relationship and the communication connection of the user with the client through near field communication; and downloading and installing preset in-vehicle personalized configuration in the personal cloud space of the user in response to successful verification of the cloud space server. The system logs in to the cloud server in order to verify the person-vehicle binding relationship and receives the user token returning from the cloud server by the user token generated by the cloud server based on the person-vehicle binding relationship pre-bound by the user. Sending a verification request to access to the personal cloud space of the user receives the public key of the personal cloud space of the user issued by the client and sends this public key to the cloud space server. The system allows downloading and configuring personal settings stored on the mobile phone of the user or in the cloud with one click.

[0008] Summary of the Invention

[0009] An object of the present invention is to realize a system which allows the vehicle user verification process to be performed by the vehicle user scanning his / her NFC passive card on an NFC module after entering the vehicle; the settings belonging to the vehicle user to become available in the vehicle after the verification process and the vehicle to be started.

[0014] 1. System

[0015] 2. NFC module

[0016] 3. Reader 4. Vehicle computer

[0017] 5. Vehicle control unit

[0018] An inventive system (1) which allows the vehicle user to be verified after entering the vehicle and the vehicle to be used after the verification is performed comprises at least one NFC module (2) which is positioned inside the vehicle and has at least one reader (3) configured to establish near field communication with the NFC passive card of the vehicle user; at least one vehicle computer (4) which is positioned inside the vehicle in a way that is accessible to the driver and / or passengers; has speakers for providing audio output, at least one microphone receiving audio input, and an input unit in the form of a key and / or touch screen; and is configured to run at least one software application that automatically processes the data and generates meaningful results thereon, to make available the profile settings belonging to the vehicle user upon the opening of the vehicle doors and verification of the vehicle user, and to enable the vehicle to be switched to the operating state; and at least one vehicle control unit (5) which is positioned inside the vehicle and is configured to manage the mechanical and electronic units and functions of the vehicle; to establish communication with the NFC module (2) and the vehicle computer (4); to exchange data through this established communication; to verify the NFC passive card information scanned into the reader (3) through the communication established with the NFC module (2); to prevent driving of the vehicle in case the verification is not realized; to allow driving of the vehicle in case the verification is realized; and to make the profile settings of the vehicle user having the NFC passive card scanned through the communication established with the vehicle computer (4) available.

[0019] The NFC module (2) included in the inventive system (1) is located on the center console of the vehicle and has a reader (3) configured to read vehicle NFC cards thereon. The NFC module (2) is configured to share the data on the NFC card read by the reader (3) with the vehicle control unit (5) in order for verification to be realized.

[0020] The vehicle computer (4) included in the inventive system (1) is positioned anywhere in the vehicle where the driver and / or passengers can interact and is configured to run at least one software that automatically processes data and generates meaningful results thereon. The said vehicle computer (4) has speakers for providing audio output, at least one microphone receiving audio input and an input unit in the form of a key or touchscreen. The vehicle computer (4) is configured to establish communication with the vehicle control unit (5), to exchange data, to enable the vehicle to be started with the push of a button after the vehicle user has been verified, and to enable user preferences relating to the vehicle user to be set. The vehicle computer (4) is configured to keep a record of the user profiles together with the profile settings for each identified / authorized vehicle user and to automatically make the profile settings available for the verified user.

[0021] The vehicle control unit (5) included in the inventive system (1) is configured to establish communication with the NFC module (2) and the vehicle computer (4), to exchange data through the established communication, to receive the scanned card information of the vehicle user through the communication established with the NFC control module (2) and to perform user verification by using the card information. The vehicle control unit (5) is configured to keep a record of the vehicle user card information for NFC card verification and to provide immobilizer controls for the scanned card. The vehicle control unit (5) is configured to inform the vehicle computer (4) upon verification of the card scanned on the NFC module (2) and to enable the user profile relating to the vehicle user to be set in the vehicle through the vehicle computer (4). The vehicle control unit (5) is configured to prevent driving of the vehicle in the event that the NFC card is not verified. In this way, the unverified NFC card user is prevented from driving the vehicle. The inventive system (1) verifies the users who enter the vehicle with the NFC passive card scanned to the NFC module (2) located on the center console of the vehicle and enables the verified persons to use the vehicle. In this way, whether the persons who enter the vehicle are the persons who can use the vehicle is verified. At the same time, after the verification process, the start stop mode can be started in the vehicle and the settings of the user such as seat, steering and ventilation are automatically loaded. In this way, security vulnerabilities in the vehicle can be prevented. For this purpose, an NFC module (2) comprising a reader (3) is positioned on the center console of the vehicle, the vehicle control unit (5) compares the NFC passive card information scanned on the module with the registered user information and the users who pass the verification are allowed to drive the vehicle.
