Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to communication for sensing operation. In one aspect, upon determination that an event for triggering a report for a sensing measurement is fulfilled or is fulfilled for a time period, a first device may transmit, to a second device, the report for the sensing measurement. The event may be associated with at least one of the following: quality of a sensing signal for a cell or a sensing object in a set of sensing objects; a change of an altitude or location of the sensing object; or a precision of the sensing measurement. In this way, an event-triggered reporting of a sensing measurement may be carried out, and a sensing operation in ISAC may be enhanced.
