Abstract

A communication method, a communication apparatus, a system, and a storage medium, which are applied to the technical field of wireless communications, and are used for a terminal device to determine an available AI function or AI model. The method comprises: receiving a first configuration parameter, the first configuration parameter comprising a first prediction range, and the first prediction range being used for determining whether at least one AI model that satisfies the first prediction range is present; and sending first indication information, the first indication information being used for indicating the presence of at least one AI model that satisfies the first prediction range. Because the first configuration parameter comprises the first prediction range, the terminal device can determine, on the basis of the first prediction range, whether an AI model that satisfies the first prediction range is present, thereby clarifying the manner in which the terminal device determines whether an available model is present. If the terminal device has at least one AI model that can satisfy the first prediction range, the terminal device can report that the first configuration parameter is available, thereby obtaining performance gain brought by the AI function.
