Abstract

The present disclosure describes methods, system, and devices for handling direction collision in carrier aggregation (CA). One method includes determining, by a user equipment (UE), a cell type of a cell in multiple serving cells in carrier aggregation; in response to the cell type of the cell being configured as a specific cell type, determining, by the UE, a reference cell in the multiple serving cells; and, in response to a direction collision happening on the multiple serving cells, performing, by the UE, a direction collision handling in the multiple serving cells according to a link direction of the reference cell.
