Abstract

The present disclosure relates to a biodegradable geotextile structure for soil biostimulation comprising a woven fabric structure of hydrophilic filament yarns of a cellulose fiber selected from the list consisting of: alpha cellulose, beta cellulose, gamma cellulose or mixtures thereof; at least a plant-based biopesticide selected from the list consisting of: Nicotine, Rotenone, Pyrethrins I, Pyrethrins II, Eugenol, Citronella oil, and mixtures thereof; at least a microalgae selected from the list consisting of: Chlorella spp., Scenedesmus spp, Dunaliella spp, Spirulina spp., and mixtures thereof. Furthermore, the present disclosure relates to a method to obtain said biodegradable geotextile structure.
