Description

A remotely controllable plug system equipped with a detachable control plug

[0001] The present invention relates to a remotely controllable plug system equipped with a detachable control plug, and more specifically, to a technology that is configured internally or individually inserted in the form of a socket into a plug of an electrical device that typically operates by receiving power, capable of voice recognition of an unspecified number of users or only the voice of a specific user, and capable of selectively connecting or disconnecting the ground connection with the power outlet through an application on a mobile device.

[0002] Typically, home appliances operate by receiving power from an external power source, and a plug that is plugged into a standard outlet is connected to the end of the power supply unit. Meanwhile, power consumption occurs even when the plug is simply left plugged into an outlet equipped with multiple sockets, and this consumed power is called standby power.

[0003] In order to reduce the consumption of the aforementioned standby power, an outlet or plug system that cuts off standby power is used to prevent the standby power of the outlet from being supplied when connected to the plug.

[0004]

[0005] Here, the most commonly used power outlets for cutting off standby power are configured with a switch on each socket to cut off standby power; when the switch is turned ON, power is supplied to the plug, and when the switch is turned OFF, standby power is cut off, thereby reducing power consumption.

[0006] However, in the case of such outlets, the standby power is generally integrated into the main body to cut off standby power, and there is a problem of very low economic efficiency, such as users of existing standard outlets having to completely replace them rather than continuing to use them.

[0007] In other words, most conventional technologies for cutting off standby power in outlets are configured inside the outlet, making it impossible to replace outlets currently in use.

[0008]

[0009] First, if we look at conventional technologies,

[0010] Patent No. 10-2758696 is filed by the same applicant as the applicant of the present invention, and comprises: an outlet having one or more sockets into which a control plug (200) can be inserted; and a control plug configured to be inserted into the socket, wherein a communication module for communicating with a portable device and a grounding control unit for controlling to be grounded or short-circuited with the socket are each configured inside. A remotely controllable outlet system comprising a detachable control plug, wherein the control plug comprises a portable device having an application installed that communicates via the communication module and selectively controls the grounding control unit, wherein the control plug comprises a body in which the communication module and the grounding control unit are spaced apart from each other, an insertion part on the outside of the body that is inserted into the socket, a connection part on the other side of the body in which the plug of a home appliance is inserted, and a movable part configured inside the body that grounds or short-circuits the connection between the insertion part and the connection part according to a control signal of the grounding control unit, wherein the connection part comprises an inlet member disposed on the upper part of the body, having a hole of a certain depth formed on one side and a portion of both sides open, a grounding part disposed on the outside of the inlet member, with a portion positioned at the open part to be grounded to the end of the home appliance plug, a side elastic member disposed on the side of the grounding part that pushes the grounding part toward the plug of the home appliance, and an upper elastic member disposed on the upper part of the grounding part that pushes the grounding part toward the insertion part. This is a technology regarding a remotely controllable outlet system equipped with a detachable control plug configured thereto.

[0011]

[0012] The aforementioned prior art primarily describes the ability to selectively cut off power to an outlet through remote control.

[0013] However, in such cases, the inconvenience of the user having to always carry a smartphone is unavoidable.

[0014]

[0015] Accordingly, there is a need for technology capable of performing complex functions through voice recognition in a control plug inserted into an outlet or plug, allowing for voice control when necessary and remote control when located at a distance.

[0016] The present invention was devised to solve the problems of the aforementioned prior art. It focuses on a remote-controllable plug system equipped with a detachable control plug, which is configured to be self-contained or inserted in a socket form into the plug of an electronic device currently in use, and which includes a communication module and a control module respectively. The control module is configured to be connected to an application installed on one or more portable devices, allowing the control module to selectively control grounding or short-circuiting with an outlet or the plug of an electrical device through the application. This enables the system to be inserted into the plug of an electrical device in use and applied as is. Furthermore, by configuring a voice recognition function in the control plug, it simultaneously ensures user convenience and economic efficiency, while preventing indiscriminate control of an unspecified number of users by ensuring control is limited only to the voice of a registered user.

[0017] Accordingly, the present invention comprises: an electric device (100) that operates by receiving external power and is equipped with one or more plugs; a control plug (200) configured to be fitted into the plug, wherein a communication module (210) for communicating with a portable device (300) and a control module (220) capable of controlling and recognizing voice so as to be grounded or short-circuited with the plug are each configured inside, wherein the communication module (210) and the control module (220) are arranged spaced apart from each other inside; an insertion part (203) inserted into a power outlet on the outside of the body (201); a connection part (205) into which the plug of the electric device is inserted on the other side of the body (201) where the insertion part (203) is configured; and a movable part (207) configured inside the body (201) to ground or short-circuit the connection between the insertion part (203) and the connection part (205) according to a control signal of the control module (220). The technical feature is that the device (300) includes an application (310) installed that communicates through the communication module (210) and selectively controls the control module (220); and the connection part (205) is composed of an inlet member (205a) which is positioned on the upper part of the body (201) and has a hole of a certain depth formed on one side and has a portion of both sides open; a grounding part (205b) which is positioned on the outside of the inlet member (205a) and has a portion of the open part positioned to be grounded to the end of the plug of the electric device; a side elastic member (205c) which is positioned on the side of the grounding part (205b) and pushes the grounding part (205b) toward the plug side of the electric device; and an upper elastic member (205d) which is positioned on the upper part of the grounding part and pushes the grounding part toward the insertion part (203).

[0018] The above control module (220) is characterized by the technical feature of being composed of a voice recognition unit (221) capable of recognizing voice, a noise removal unit (223) for removing noise from the voice recognized by the voice recognition unit (221), a reading unit (225) for reading the voice from which the noise has been removed, and a signal transmission unit (227) for transmitting a control signal to a fluid unit (207) according to the voice read by the reading unit (225).

[0019] The voice recognition unit (221) is characterized by the technical features of including a voice registration unit (221a) for registering the voices of an unspecified number of users, a setting unit (221b) for setting one or more voices among the voices of the voice registration unit (221a), a recognition unit (221c) for recognizing the voice set from the setting unit (221b), and a guidance unit (221d) for outputting voice related to usage restrictions and other guidance and transmitting the information to a registered mobile device (300) when a control command is transmitted three or more times with the same voice from a user not registered in the voice registration unit (221a).

[0020] The voice output of the above guidance unit (221d) is characterized by being one of the following: “This is not a registered voice,” “Please check again,” “Please use after registration,” or “This is not a user.”

[0021] The above application (310) is characterized by the technical features of including a verification unit (311) capable of verifying the connection status of one or more control plugs (200), a grounding command unit (312) that transmits a signal to a control module (220) to ground one or more connected control plugs (200) to an outlet, a short-circuiting command unit (313) that transmits a signal to a control module (220) to short-circuit one or more connected control plugs (200) to an outlet, a receiving unit (314) that receives a signal regarding the use of an electrical device from the grounding module (220), a monitoring unit (315) that checks in real-time whether a moving unit (207) is operating according to the operation of the control module (220), and a check unit (316) that checks the voltage of the current moving through the control plugs (200).

[0022] According to the remote control-enabled plug system equipped with a detachable control plug of the present invention, the purpose of remote control is maintained, and at the same time, the control plug is inserted into an electrical device currently in use, thereby allowing standby power to be cut off and power consumption to be reduced by selectively grounding or short-circuiting the control plug using a portable device. [0049]

[0050] The present invention provides a remotely controllable plug system comprising a detachable control plug that is configured internally or individually inserted in the form of a socket into the plug of an electrical device that typically operates by receiving power, and which is capable of voice recognition of an unspecified number of users or only a specific user, and which allows the grounding to be selectively connected or disconnected from the outlet via an application on a mobile device.

[0051]

[0052] Hereinafter, the preferred configuration and operation of the present invention for achieving the above objective in relation to the attached drawings will be described with reference to FIGS. 1 to 12 as follows.

[0053]

[0054] First, before describing the present invention, let us look at its configuration with reference to FIGS. 1 and 2. It comprises an electric device (100) that operates by receiving external power and is equipped with one or more plugs (110); A control plug (200) configured to be inserted into the above plug, wherein a communication module (210) for communicating with a portable device (300) and a control module (220) capable of recognizing control and voice so as to be grounded or short-circuited with the plug are each configured therein, and the communication module (210) and the control module (220) are spaced apart from each other inside the body (201); an insertion part (203) inserted into an outlet on the outside of the body (201); a connection part (205) into which a plug of an electrical device is inserted on the other side of the body (201) where the insertion part (203) is configured; and a movable part (207) configured inside the body (201) to ground or short-circuit the connection between the insertion part (203) and the connection part (205) according to a control signal of the control module (220); The technical feature is that the device (300) includes an application (310) installed that communicates through the communication module (210) and selectively controls the control module (220); and the connection part (205) is composed of an inlet member (205a) which is positioned on the upper part of the body (201) and has a hole of a certain depth formed on one side and has a portion of both sides open; a grounding part (205b) which is positioned on the outside of the inlet member (205a) and has a portion of the open part positioned to be grounded to the end of the plug of the electric device; a side elastic member (205c) which is positioned on the side of the grounding part (205b) and pushes the grounding part (205b) toward the plug side of the electric device; and an upper elastic member (205d) which is positioned on the upper part of the grounding part and pushes the grounding part toward the insertion part (203).

[0055]

[0056] In other words, the present invention allows for the easy cutting off of standby power from a distance and minimizing power consumption by utilizing a control plug (200) that is selectively inserted into a plug (110) of an electric device (100) and an application (310) installed on a portable device (300) that can selectively control the control plug (200). Furthermore, it is possible to apply it directly to the plug (110) of an electric device (100) currently in use and control it according to the voice commands of a specific user registered through a voice recognition function, thereby preventing indiscriminate operation by an unspecified number of users, thus ensuring both convenience of use and economic efficiency simultaneously.

[0057]

[0058] The above-mentioned electric device (100) typically refers to a device that operates by receiving power from a power source. The structure is such that one side of the electric device (100) has wiring for connecting to a power source and a plug (110) at the end thereof. Examples of this structure include home appliances such as refrigerators and TVs, which are most electric devices currently in use.

[0059] As described above, when the control plug (200) is inserted into the plug (110) of the electrical device (100) and then inserted into an outlet installed on the wall of a building for use, the control plug (200) can be selectively controlled by a portable device (300) or controlled through a voice recognition function, thereby providing convenience in use.

[0060]

[0061] Meanwhile, as shown in FIG. 2, the control plug (200) is configured such that it is inserted into the plug (110), each having a communication module (210) for communicating with a portable device (300) and a control module (220) for controlling to be grounded or short-circuited with the plug (110) of the electrical device (100).

[0062] To explain this in more detail, as shown in FIGS. 2, 3, and 4, it is configured to include a body (201) and, inside it, an insertion part (203), a connection part (205), a fluid part (207), a communication module (210), and a control module (220).

[0063]

[0064] The above body (201) is provided with a space inside in which the communication module (210) and the control module (220) can be spaced apart from each other, thereby forming the overall shape of the control plug (200). In other words, the above body (201) is provided with a space inside to accommodate the components to be described below.

[0065]

[0066] The above insertion part (203) is a part into which the plug (110) of the electrical device (100) described in the present invention is inserted, and is configured to be connected to the connecting part (205) described below while taking a fixed form.

[0067] That is, the part that actually protrudes outside of the insertion part (203) is the part that is inserted into a general outlet made of a building wall, etc. or a multi-tap, and the part placed inside the body (201) is the connection part (205) into which the plug (110) connected to the electrical device (100) is inserted.

[0068]

[0069] As shown in FIG. 2, the above connecting part (205) is formed to protrude outward from the body (201) and is configured to be inserted into an outlet installed on an inner wall, etc., and the plug (110) of a home appliance (100) is inserted into the other side of the body (201) on which the inserting part (203) is formed.

[0070]

[0071] As shown in FIG. 3, the above connecting part (205) is composed of an inlet member (205a) formed at a certain depth on one side of the body (201) and having a portion of both sides open, a grounding part (205b) disposed on the outside of the inlet member (205a) and having a portion of the open portion positioned to be grounded to the end of the plug (110) of the home appliance (100), a side elastic member (205c) disposed on the side of the grounding part (205b) and pushing the grounding part (205b) toward the plug (110) of the home appliance (100), and an upper elastic member (205d) disposed on the upper part of the grounding part (205b) and pushing the grounding part (205b) toward the insertion part (203).

[0072] In this connecting part (205) of the present invention, when the plug (110) of the first home appliance (100) is inserted into the insertion member (205a), the grounding part (205b) is always pushed by the side elastic member (205c) so that the plug (110) of the home appliance (100) and the grounding part (205b) are grounded, and the grounding part (205b) is always pushed downward by the upper elastic member (20d) so that the grounding part (205b) can always be in contact with the insertion part (203), thereby finally maintaining the state where the plug (110) of the home appliance (100) is grounded with the grounding part (205b) so that smooth power can be supplied.

[0073]

[0074] As shown in FIGS. 5, 6, and 7, the above-mentioned fluid portion (207) is configured inside the body (201) to ground or short-circuit the connection between the insert portion (203) and the connection portion (205) according to a control signal from the control module (220).

[0075] To explain this in more detail, the above-mentioned moving part (207) is substantially configured inside the body (201) and is positioned close to the part where the insertion part (203) and the connecting part (205) are connected. It moves between the insertion part (203) and the connecting part (205) in accordance with a short-circuit command from the control module (220) to short-circuit the insertion part (203) and the connecting part (205) so that they are not connected, and then moves to be restored to its original state in accordance with a grounding command from the control module (220) so that the insertion part (203) and the connecting part (205) are grounded.

[0076] The operating method of the fluid part (207) is configured such that gears can be engaged with the motor shaft and the inner side of the fluid part (207) by applying a motor method, and the fluid part (207) can be operated to one side or the other side through the rotation of the motor, and the operation of the fluid part (207) can be implemented by applying a conventional method.

[0077]

[0078] Meanwhile, the communication module (210) configured inside the control plug (200) is configured as a communication means for communicating with the portable device (300) to be described below, and the control module (220) is configured such as an MCU and a PCB circuit, and while communicating with the portable device (300) through the communication module (210), the movable part (207) can be controlled according to the signal transmitted from the portable device (300).

[0079]

[0080] Conventionally, in order to reduce standby power consumption, a separate switch was configured in the outlet or a switch was configured on one side of the plug connected to the outlet, and a control means was included internally to cut off standby power from a distance. However, these technologies had the problem of very low economic efficiency because they required discarding the existing outlet and purchasing a separate one for use. Furthermore, when removing the existing outlet, if the placement was difficult, the work inevitably involved inconvenience. Also, when configured in the plug, it was generally impossible to use unless the product included that function in the plug of the original electrical device, which resulted in very low economic efficiency.

[0081] However, the control plug (200), which is a core component of the present invention, is not integrally formed with the plug (110) of the electric device (100), but is configured to be selectively attachable and detachable from the plug (110) of the electric device (100) currently in use. This allows the standby power supplied to the electric device (100) to which the control plug (200) is connected to be controlled individually, thereby eliminating the need for work such as repurchasing and replacing the electric device (100) currently in use, thus ensuring both convenience and economic efficiency.

[0082]

[0083] Additionally, as shown in FIG. 6, the grounded surfaces of the insertion part (203) and the connection part (205) are grounded such that one side is completely in contact with the other side, and the other side is spaced apart so that an inlet groove (204) is formed between them.

[0084] The above, the purpose of one side being completely in contact and grounded is to maintain a smooth grounding state, and the other side being separated is to allow the end of the movable part (207) to move smoothly between the insertion part (203) and the connection part (205) when moving, thereby inducing a rapid short circuit.

[0085]

[0086] In addition, a fixing groove (201a) is formed on the inner side of the body (201) and positioned facing the end of the movable part (207), into which the end of the movable part (207) is inserted and fixed, so that the movable part (207) can move and maintain a stable grounding state between the insertion part (203) and the connecting part (205), while also ensuring stable fixation of the movable part (207).

[0087]

[0088] Meanwhile, the control module (220) is composed of a voice recognition unit (221) capable of recognizing voice as illustrated in FIG. 8, a noise removal unit (223) for removing noise from the voice recognized by the voice recognition unit (221), a reading unit (225) for reading the voice from which the noise has been removed, and a signal transmission unit (227) for transmitting a control signal to a fluid unit (207) according to the voice read by the reading unit (225).

[0089] That is, the control module (220) recognizes the user's voice and simultaneously effectively removes noise such as other noises to recognize the user's voice clearly, and makes an accurate judgment through the judgment unit (225) to determine what control command the user has issued. Once the judgment is made and an accurate judgment is made, the signal is sent to the fluid unit (207) by the signal transmission unit (227) so that the fluid unit (207) can be operated.

[0090]

[0091] Additionally, the voice recognition unit (221) is configured to include, as illustrated in FIG. 9, a voice registration unit (221a) for registering an unspecified number of user voices, a setting unit (221b) for setting one or more voices among the voices of the voice registration unit (221a), a recognition unit (221c) for recognizing the voice set from the setting unit (221b), and a guidance unit (221d) for outputting voice related to usage restrictions and other guidance and transmitting the information to a registered mobile device (300) when a control command is transmitted three or more times with the same voice from a user not registered in the voice registration unit (221a).

[0092] The above-mentioned voice recognition unit (221) is configured so as not to be activated by control commands from unregistered unspecified users, thereby preventing indiscriminate control by said unspecified users, and when unregistered unspecified users recognize the same voice command through the guidance unit (221d), voice related to usage restrictions and other guidance is output, and at the same time, the information is transmitted to the registered mobile device (300).

[0093] The prevention of indiscriminate control in the voice recognition unit (221) allows parents with young children to turn the power of various electrical devices, such as TVs, on or off through the voice recognition function, thereby restricting TV viewing and limiting the use of other heating devices that may cause fires, thus ensuring the safety of young children. Additionally, by transmitting the information to a registered portable device (300), the user possessing the portable device (300) receives the information, thereby quickly recognizing the situation and effectively responding to the situation.

[0094]

[0095] At this time, the voice output of the guidance unit (221d) may be one of “This is not a registered voice,” “Please check again,” “Please use after registration,” or “This is not a user,” and through this guidance unit (221d), an unspecified number of users may be made aware that control is not possible with their own voice, thereby allowing them to stop unnecessary actions.

[0096] Although four such guide sections (221d) have been described and mentioned as embodiments of the present invention, similar guide messages may be configured and used as needed, and the present invention is not limited to these embodiments.

[0097]

[0098] The above-described portable device (300) is configured to include a portable device (300) having a configuration similar to a conventional smartphone as illustrated in FIG. 10, which communicates through the communication module (210) and has an application (310) installed that selectively controls the control module (220).

[0099] Here, as illustrated in FIG. 11, the application (310) includes a verification unit (311) capable of verifying the connection status of one or more control plugs (200), a grounding command unit (312) that transmits a signal to a control module (220) to ground one or more connected control plugs (200) to an outlet, a short-circuiting command unit (313) that transmits a signal to a control module (220) to short-circuit one or more connected control plugs (200) to an outlet, a receiving unit (314) that receives a signal regarding the use of an electrical device from the grounding module (220), a real-time monitoring unit (315) that checks whether the moving unit (207) is operating according to the operation of the control module (220), and a check unit (316) that checks the voltage of the current moving through the control plug (200).

[0100]

[0101] In the case of the above-mentioned verification unit (311), the connection (grounding) status of the insertion unit (203) and the connection unit (205) can be checked through a portable device (300). This configuration of the verification unit (311) allows for easy identification of whether the standby power of a control plug (200) has been cut off or not when there are multiple control plugs (200), thereby providing convenience in use.

[0102] The above grounding command unit (312) is configured to transmit a command to ground the control plug (200) when the standby power is cut off through the above confirmation unit (311).

[0103] For example, when a user of a mobile device (300) is unable to move to the control plug (200) due to being away from the control plug (200) or having physical difficulties, but needs to use a home appliance (100) connected to the control plug (200), if a grounding command is given through the grounding command unit (312), the insertion unit (203) and the connection unit (205) are connected, and the home appliance connected to the connection unit (205) can be used.

[0104]

[0105] In the case of the above short-circuit command unit (313), it is configured to easily cut off the standby power from a short distance or a long distance when it detects that the standby power confirmed through the above confirmation unit (311) is being continuously consumed.

[0106] For example, when a user is away from home due to going to work, an appointment, or a long-term outing, and the user recognizes this through the confirmation unit (311) of the connected portable device (300) while the user is consuming standby power, the consumption of standby power can be blocked, thereby preventing unnecessary energy waste.

[0107]

[0108] The above-mentioned receiving unit (314) receives a signal regarding the use of a home appliance from the above-mentioned control module (220), and is configured to receive the signal so that the user can know which of the connected control plugs (200) is consuming standby power, and to allow the user to check the information in the verification unit (311).

[0109]

[0110] In other words, the control plug (200) is configured to transmit a signal to the receiving unit (314) depending on whether the home appliance (100) is in use, and then, after the user confirms whether the home appliance is in use through the confirmation unit (311), to ground or short-circuit according to a signal transmitted from the grounding command unit (312) or the short-circuit command unit (313).

[0111] The present invention, as described above, is a technology that allows standby power to be easily controlled through a connected portable device (300) by inserting a control plug (200) into a plug (110) of an electrical device (100) currently in use and inserting the control plug (200) into a wall outlet or other multi-tap type outlet.

[0112]

[0113] In addition, the monitoring unit (315) can check the operation status of the fluid unit (207) in real time, thereby allowing the status of the fluid unit (207) to be checked and making it easy to identify any malfunctions or failures of the fluid unit (207) that may occur.

[0114] In addition, the check unit (316) can check the voltage of the current applied to the electric device (100) to prevent damage to the electric device (100) due to low power flow, and can be configured to generate a warning sound if the voltage checked by the check unit (316) is not normal, so that the user can easily identify this condition and respond immediately to any situation that may occur.

[0115]

[0116] According to the remote control-enabled plug system equipped with a detachable control plug of the present invention, the purpose of remote control is maintained, and at the same time, the control plug is inserted into an electrical device currently in use, thereby allowing standby power to be cut off and power consumption to be reduced by selectively grounding or short-circuiting the control plug using a portable device. Furthermore, by recognizing and operating only the voice of a registered user, indiscriminate control by an unspecified number of users can be prevented, thereby ensuring both convenience of use and economic efficiency simultaneously.
