Abstract

The application provides a preparation method and application of hollow cerium dioxide nanoparticles, and the preparation method comprises the following steps: (1) preparing nanosilica particles by a solvothermal method to obtain a powder; (2) generating a cerium dioxide shell layer on the surface of the nanosilica particle template by the solvothermal method to obtain a powder; (3) calcining the obtained powder; and (4) etching the core-shell structure nanoparticles by alkali to obtain the hollow cerium dioxide nanoparticles. The nanoscale hollow cerium dioxide nanoparticles are synthesized through a simple reaction, the size and morphology are uniform, the synthesis steps are simple, and the hollow cerium dioxide nanoparticles are suitable for batch production. Through experiments, the hollow cerium dioxide nanoparticles have peroxidase and superoxide dismutase enzyme-like activities, so that the hollow cerium dioxide nanoparticles have good scavenging capacity for active oxygen and are suitable for application in biomedical research.
