Abstract

The application provides a laser projection device and a projection display method, a phase light modulation device, a light modulation assembly for emitting modulated light obtained after modulation, a laser drive assembly for determining a first display drive signal according to an image signal corresponding to a first region and determining a second display drive signal according to an image signal corresponding to a second region, wherein the image signal corresponding to the first region is determined according to light intensity distribution of the modulated light in the first region and brightness information in a to-be-displayed image corresponding to the first region, the image signal corresponding to the second region is determined according to brightness information of the to-be-displayed image corresponding to the second region, and the first region is a region for generating zero-order diffraction; and the light modulation assembly is used for modulating the modulated light by using the first display drive signal and the second display drive signal to obtain a target light beam, and the target light beam is projected into a display to-be-displayed image by a lens, so that the projection display effect can be improved.
