Description

Technical Field

[0001] This invention belongs to the field of nasal irrigation technology, specifically relating to a sinus and nasal cavity irrigation device. Background Technology

[0002] Nasal irrigation is a common method for treating nasal and sinus diseases. Due to its good efficacy and tolerability, it is welcomed by doctors and patients.

[0003] Nasal irrigation has been widely used in the treatment of various diseases of the nasal cavity and sinuses, including acute and chronic rhinitis, sinusitis, allergic and non-allergic rhinitis, non-specific nasal symptoms (such as postnasal drip), nasal septum perforation, post-nasal surgery, and post-nasal radiotherapy. It can also be used for the common cold. [1] It is not only an adjunctive treatment, but also an important part of the treatment process. For allergic rhinitis, Garavello's research found that hypertonic saline nasal irrigation can significantly improve patients' symptoms and reduce the use of oral antihistamines. It is also recommended that patients with seasonal allergic rhinitis use hypertonic saline nasal irrigation during the pollen season. For patients who have undergone nasal or sinus surgery, nasal irrigation can significantly reduce adverse reactions such as mucosal edema and crust formation. [2] Studies such as Klossek et al. have found that nasal irrigation and local corticosteroid sprays after endoscopic sinus surgery for nasal polyps can consolidate the efficacy of endoscopic sinus surgery and reduce the recurrence rate. Based on the above reasons, the European Association for Allergy and Clinical Immunology (EAACI) and the European Rhinology Society have included nasal irrigation as an important treatment measure in the treatment of sinusitis and nasal polyps in their guidelines on sinusitis and nasal polyps.

[0004] Existing nasal irrigation devices consist of an irrigation bottle, an irrigation tube, and an irrigation head. They require assembly during use, which is quite troublesome, and their functions are relatively limited. Summary of the Invention

The term "and / or" as used herein includes any and all combinations of one or more of the associated listed items.

[0032] Example 1 Please see Figure 1-6 A nasal cavity irrigation device includes an irrigation box 1. The bottom of the irrigation box 1 has a nasal groove 12 that matches the nose. The irrigation box 1, located at the upper end of the nasal groove 12, has a storage cavity 11 for storing cleaning fluid. The irrigation box 1, located at the nasal air inlet end of the nasal groove 12, has two irrigation channels 13 that communicate with the nasal groove 12 and are used for cleaning the nostrils. Above the middle of the irrigation channels 13, there is a communicating adjustment channel 14. Each adjustment channel 14 has a matching adjustable block 15 that can move up and down. Each adjustment channel 14 has a connecting hole 141 on one side that communicates with the storage cavity 11. The adjustable block 15 on the side of the nasal groove 12... The nasal cavity is provided with a storage tank 153, and a retractable rinsing head 155 for cleaning the nasal cavity is provided inside the storage tank 153. The rinsing head 155 is hollow inside and has a cleaning hole 1551 for cleaning spray at the front end. The upper end of the rinsing head 155 has a water inlet hole 1552. The adjusting block 15 located above the storage tank 153 has an L-shaped guide hole 151 for guiding the cleaning fluid from the connecting hole 141 to the water inlet hole 1552. The storage cavity 11 is provided with a conveying mechanism for conveying the cleaning fluid to the connecting hole 141. The outside of the rinsing box 1 is provided with a fixing mechanism for rinsing and fixing it to the nose.

[0033] The original cleaning method has been changed. The cleaning solution is stored in the storage cavity 11 inside the rinsing box 1, and the rinsing box 1 is fixed to the nose for rinsing. This design cleverly combines the original rinsing bottle, rinsing tube and rinsing head 155, saving space and making it more convenient to use. At the same time, the design of the adjustment groove 14 and the adjustment block 15 means that when one nasal cavity needs to be rinsed, the corresponding adjustment block 15 is pressed down so that the rinsing head 155 inside the adjustment block 15 corresponds to the nasal cavity, and then the rinsing head extends to block the nasal cavity for rinsing. The design of the guide hole 151 can effectively realize the connection between the water inlet hole 1552 and the connecting hole 141. At the same time, when not in use, the adjustment block 15 and the rinsing head 155 can block the connecting hole 141 and the water inlet hole 1552 respectively to ensure the overall sealing. Furthermore, the upper end of the adjustment groove 14 is through-type, and the upper end of the adjustment block 15 is provided with a first pull ring 156 that is fixedly connected.

[0034] The design of the first pull ring 156 makes the movement of the adjusting block 15 more convenient and faster.

[0035] Furthermore, the storage tank 153 is through-type, and a push plate 154 is provided in the storage tank 153 for sliding connection. The push plate 154 is fixedly connected to the end of the rinsing head 155, and a second pull ring 152 is fixedly connected to the outside of the push plate 154.

[0036] Furthermore, the storage cavity 11 is provided with a U-shaped water inlet pipe 111. The bottom bend of the water inlet pipe 111 is connected to two cleaning holes 1551. The bottom of the storage cavity 11 located on both sides of the nasal groove 12 is provided with multiple massage rods 117 that can move up and down and are used for nasal acupoint massage. Each water inlet pipe 111 located above the massage rods 117 is provided with a rotating shaft 1116 that can move up and down. Multiple fixed connections are provided on the rotating shaft 1116 for water flow impact to drive the rotating shaft 1116. The fan blades 112 rotate 116. The massage rod 117 moves through the water inlet pipe 111 above it, and the massage rod 117 is connected to the middle of the rotating shaft 1116 by a reciprocating thread. The conveying mechanism includes a micro conveying pump 114. The output end of the micro conveying pump 114 is provided with a connecting pipe 113. The connecting pipe 113 is connected to the water inlet pipe 111 on the corresponding side. The water inlet pipe 111 on the other side is provided with a retractable baffle 1113 for sealing the water inlet pipe 111.

[0037] The design of the water inlet pipe 111 can achieve the diversion of the cleaning liquid. A rotating shaft 1116 and fan blades 112 are arranged inside the water inlet pipe 111. When the diverted cleaning liquid meets the fan blades 112, it will push the fan blades 112 to rotate, thereby driving the rotating shaft 1116 to rotate. At the same time, with the design of the massage rod 117 and the reciprocating thread, through the rotation of the rotating shaft 1116, the massage rod 117 can move up and down periodically to perform acupoint massage.

[0038] Further, the acupoints are Bitong acupoint and Yingxiang acupoint.

[0039] Further, a through-type communication groove is provided in the middle of the rotating shaft 1116. Annular limiting ring grooves 1115 are provided on the inner walls of the water inlet pipe 111 at the upper and lower ends of the rotating shaft 1116. Roller wheels 1114 fixedly connected and used for sliding in the limiting ring grooves 1115 are provided at the upper and lower ends of the rotating shaft 1116.

[0040] The design of the limiting ring groove 1115 and the roller wheel 1114 can not only ensure the rotation of the rotating shaft 1116, reduce the friction force, but also effectively prevent the movement and deviation of the rotating shaft 1116, ensuring the stability of the rotation of the rotating shaft 1116.

[0041] Further, a massage groove for massage is provided at the bottom of the storage cavity 11 at the bottom of the massage ball, and a rubber sheet for sealing is provided at the bottom of the massage groove.

[0042] The design of the massage groove and the rubber sheet can effectively reduce the distance between the massage rod 117 and the skin, thereby improving the massage effect.

[0043] Further, a storage battery 115 for power supply is provided in the storage cavity 11, and a heating resistance wire for heating the cleaning liquid is also provided in the storage cavity 11.

[0044] Further, the heating resistance wire is arranged inside the inner wall of the nasal groove 12.

[0045] Further, a sealing box 1111 for sealing is provided outside the water baffle 1113, and the water baffle 1113 is slidably connected inside the sealing box 1111. The sealing box 1111 is communicated with a side wall of the water inlet pipe 111, and an adjusting rod 1112 is movably inserted outside the sealing box 1111. The end of the adjusting rod 1112 is fixedly connected to the water baffle 1113, and the outside of the adjusting rod 1112 movably passes through the outer wall of the flushing box 1.

[0046] Further, sealing rubbers are provided outside both the adjusting block 15 and the flushing head 155.

[0047] Further, the aperture of the diversion hole 151 is larger than the aperture of the water inlet hole 1552, and the aperture of the water inlet hole 1552 is larger than the aperture of the diversion hole 151.

[0048] It can effectively reduce errors and ensure that the cleaning fluid can be effectively guided.

[0049] Furthermore, the fixing mechanism includes a strap for fixing to the head, the strap being made of an elastic band with a certain degree of elasticity, not shown in the figure.

[0050] Furthermore, the rinsing box 1 is provided with a water inlet 118 for injecting cleaning fluid.

[0051] Furthermore, the micro pump 114 is provided with a suction pipe 116 at its inlet end, and the suction pipe 116 is located at the bottom of the storage chamber 11.

[0052] Example 2 The similarities to Example 1 will not be repeated, and the differences from Example 1 are as follows: The rinsing box 1 located at the end of the rinsing tank 13 where the cleaning fluid flows out is provided with a collection bag 2 for collecting the cleaning fluid. The collection bag is detachably connected to the rinsing box 1.

[0053] The design of the collection bag 2 enables the cleaning solution to be automatically recycled after rinsing, effectively preventing the cleaning solution from spraying out. At the same time, users can rinse directly while sitting down, unlike the original rinsing method where they had to go to the sink to rinse. It is convenient, quick, and can be rinsed anytime. The detachable design makes replacement easy and simple.

[0054] Furthermore, the rinsing box 1 located at the end of the rinsing tank 13 where the cleaning fluid flows out is provided with a limiting groove 16 for fixing one side of the collection bag 2. The limiting groove 16 is provided with symmetrically distributed and interlocking limiting teeth 161. The rinsing box 1 is also provided with a compression plate 162 fixedly connected and used for squeezing the limiting groove 16. The compression plate 162 is fixedly set on the bottom of the rinsing box 1 near the skin. The rinsing box 1 is also provided with a limiting hook 163 for fixing the other side of the collection bag 2.

[0055] The design of the limiting tooth 161 can effectively improve the firmness of the limiting groove 16 on one side of the collection bag 2 through the meshing of the limiting tooth 161. At the same time, the design of the squeezing plate 162 can increase the squeezing pressure on the limiting groove 16 when the rinsing box 1 is fixed to the nose, ensuring the stability of the squeezing.

[0056] When this application is used: (1) Open the water inlet 118, inject the cleaning solution into the storage chamber 11, and then close it. Match the nasal groove 12 with the nose, and then fix the rinsing box 1 to the head with the strap. After the rinsing box 1 is fixed, due to the presence of the squeezing plate 162, the squeezing plate 162 can contact the upper lip below the nose, thereby squeezing the limiting groove 16 and making the limiting teeth 161 mesh with each other, which can effectively fix the collection bag 2.

[0057] (2) Start the resistance heating wire to heat it, which can ensure the temperature of the cleaning fluid during cleaning and reduce the irritation during cleaning. At the same time, the resistance heating wire in the nasal groove 12 can also perform hot compress treatment on the nose while heating. At the same time, start the micro delivery pump 114. Since the regulating block 15 blocks the connecting hole 141, the cleaning fluid in the storage chamber 11 circulates in the water inlet pipe 111 and the storage chamber 11, which can make the cleaning fluid heat more evenly. At the same time, when the cleaning fluid passes through the water inlet pipe 111, it passes through the fan blade 112 and drives the rotating shaft 1116 to rotate. Through the reciprocating thread design, it can drive the massage rod 117 to move up and down periodically, automatically pressing the nasal inlet and the Yingxiang inlet. It can effectively treat and relieve nasal inflammation by combining massage and hot compress. (3) A heating device can also be installed in the massage area at the bottom of the massage rod 117 to heat the bottom of the massage rod 117, more accurately control the temperature of the bottom of the massage rod 117, and further improve the effect of the massage rod 117 on acupoint massage. (4) When nasal cavity cleaning is required, simply press the adjusting rod 1112 to seal the water inlet pipe 111 on one side with the baffle plate 1113, then press the adjusting block 15 on the side to be cleaned to seal the bottom flushing tank 13, then press the push plate 154 to extend the flushing head 155 and block the corresponding nostril. At this time, the two ends of the guide hole 151 are connected to the water inlet hole 1552 and the connecting hole 141 respectively. Then start the micro delivery pump 114 to make the cleaning fluid pass through the water inlet pipe 111, the connecting hole 141, the guide hole 151, the water inlet hole 1552, the flushing head 155 and the cleaning hole 1551 to clean the inside of the nasal cavity. The cleaning fluid flows out from the other nasal cavity into the flushing tank 13 on the other side and is discharged. At the same time, it flows into the collection bag 2 for collection.

[0058] (5) When switching to clean another nasal cavity, the flushing head 155 is retrieved into the storage tank 153 by the second pull ring 152. Then, the adjusting block 15 is pulled back to the initial position by the first pull ring 156. Next, the other adjusting block 15 is pressed to seal the corresponding bottom flushing tank 13. Then, the corresponding push plate 154 is pressed to make the corresponding flushing head 155 protrude and block the nostril. At this time, the two ends of the guide hole 151 are connected to the water inlet hole 1552 and the connecting hole 141 respectively. Then, the micro delivery pump 114 is started so that the cleaning fluid passes through the water inlet pipe 111, the connecting hole 141, the guide hole 151, the water inlet hole 1552, the flushing head 155 and the cleaning hole 1551 to clean the inside of the nasal cavity. The cleaning fluid flows out from the other nasal cavity into the flushing tank 13 on the other side and is discharged. At the same time, it flows into the collection bag 2 for collection.

[0059] (6) The micro transfer pump 114 can be started remotely by using a remote control to achieve automatic cleaning.

[0060] (7) Unlike the original rinsing method, users do not need to rinse at the edge of the pool. They can rinse anytime and anywhere, as long as they keep their head upright.
