本发明提供了一种半活化型铂（II）催化剂的制备方法，属于化学催化技术领域。本发明以高价态的Pt（IV）化合物为原料和膦配体进行配位得到[Pt(II)(PR3)n]2‑，避免了现有技术中Pt（II）易被还原为Pt（0）导致所得中间体多为二聚体、盐和单核配合物的混合物的问题，提高中间产物收率；然后在还原剂的作用下，Pt（IV）被完全还原为Pt（0），由于膦配体的强配位能力与大位阻效应，能够有效降低铂颗粒聚集形成铂黑；最后通过2‑（2‑卤‑苯基）‑吡啶对Pt（0）的氧化加成转化为Pt（II）的目标产物，从而显著提高半活化型铂（II）催化剂的收率。
