Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a holding device for a motor vehicle, onto which a hook of a luggage net for the motor vehicle can be attached. The holding device comprises a base part and a cover part, the cover part being held on the base part. The cover part conceals the base part, at least partially. The base part has a receiving space into which the hook of the luggage net can be inserted. The invention further relates to a motor vehicle with at least one such holding device. Lashing rings can be used to secure the hooks of a cargo net, for example, in the cargo area of a vehicle, provided such lashing rings are available in the cargo area. These lashing rings can be designed to withstand a relatively high load, such as 6 kN. However, it is sometimes difficult to provide attachment points for such lashing rings in the vehicle's cargo area that offer a sufficiently high load-bearing capacity. In particular, if the lashing ring is attached to a structural component of the vehicle's body shell, it presents a challenge to ensure that the body shell has the required load-bearing capacity at the intended location for the lashing ring. DE 10 2012 112 317 A1 describes a device for attaching a partition net to separate the luggage compartment from the passenger compartment in motor vehicles, with a mounting eyelet formed in a cover plate for receiving a mounting part of the partition net. The cover plate is a full-surface covering and can be inserted essentially flush with a recess in the headliner. On one side of the cover plate facing away from the mounting eyelet, locking hooks are arranged by means of which the cover plate can be locked both in the recess and on a spring of a retaining bracket. CN 207106358 U describes a hook assembly for a motor vehicle, comprising a base and a pivoting cover plate. When the cover plate is pivoted into an open position, a handle part of the hook assembly is accessible, which is received in a recess in the base. The handle part can be folded down about a further pivot axis. A hook of a luggage net can then be attached to an opening formed in the handle part. This type of hook arrangement is relatively complicated to operate. To attach the hook, the cover plate must first be folded up, and then the handle folded down. Furthermore, CN 113581093 A describes a hook which is located in a receiving area of an aperture and is accessible via the receiving area. A front opening of the aperture can be closed by means of a cover plate. When the cover plate is in a closed position, it is locked to the aperture. The object of the present invention is to provide a holding device of the type mentioned at the outset, which is particularly easy to use, and to specify a motor vehicle with at least one such holding device. This problem is solved by a holding device with the features of claim 1 and by a motor vehicle with the features of claim 6. Advantageous embodiments with expedient further developments of the invention are specified in the dependent claims and in the following description. The holding device according to the invention for a motor vehicle, to which a hook of a luggage net for the motor vehicle can be attached, comprises a base part and a cover part. The cover part is held on the base part and at least partially conceals the base part. The base part has a receiving space into which the hook of the luggage net can be inserted. The cover part has a retaining rib that extends at least partially around a through-opening formed in the cover part. To secure the luggage net to the holding device, the retaining rib can be engaged by the hook of the luggage net. To use the retaining device for attaching the luggage net hook, the hook simply needs to be inserted into the recess of the base part, after which the retaining tab of the cover part can be engaged by the hook. This prevents the hook from detaching from the retaining device without operator intervention. This is advantageous. The retaining device is particularly easy to use for attaching the hook of the luggage net. The function of the retaining bar is to allow the hook of the luggage net, or a luggage net spider with corresponding hooks, to be hooked or gripped from behind. And since there is no lashing eyelet in the base unit's receiving area, the holding device cannot be misused to secure a lashing strap to such an eyelet. This is advantageous because the holding device does not need to be designed to withstand the forces that can occur when tensioning a lashing strap to a lashing eyelet on a vehicle. Furthermore, the mounting device is particularly easy to install. During installation, the cover is secured to the base by simply attaching it. The base, which contains the mounting space, is then very easy and quick to install in the vehicle when the mounting device is to be fitted. The cover is held in place by a snap-in mechanism on the base. This means no tools are required to attach the cover to the base, simplifying assembly. The base part has at least one slot into which a retaining tab of the cover part is inserted. The base part and the retaining tab have corresponding locking elements, which engage with each other. Such a fixation or retention of the cover part on the base part is very easy to achieve. During assembly, the insertion of the at least one retaining tab of the cover part into the at least one slot of the base part ensures that the two locking elements engage with each other. The base part features multiple slots formed in a circumferential flange surrounding the receiving area. The locking elements of the base part are located on the outer side of a sleeve section of the base part, which defines the circumferential boundaries of the receiving area. The slots in the circumferential flange ensure well-defined positions and good access for the corresponding retaining tabs of the cover part. And by providing the sleeve area, the base part is given a significantly higher rigidity. Furthermore, the locking elements of the base part can be provided very easily and with minimal effort on the outside of the sleeve area, especially if the locking elements are formed integrally with the base body. The cover part comprises a trim section that conceals the slots, with a portion of a trim panel for the vehicle positioned between the edge flange of the base part and the trim section of the cover part. This portion of the trim panel, located between the edge flange and the trim section, wraps around a receiving opening formed in the trim panel. Positioning this portion of the trim panel between the edge flange of the base part and the trim section of the cover part simplifies the process of securing the base part and the cover part to this section of the trim panel. When the retaining tabs of the cover part are inserted into the slots of the base part, the portion of the trim panel containing the receiving opening is clamped between the edge flange and the trim section. Such a fixation of the base part and the cover part to the trim panel facilitates simplified assembly. The mounting device, or a corresponding assembly comprising the base part, the cover part, and the trim panel, can be delivered pre-assembled for further installation in the vehicle. Once the trim panel is secured in its designated location within the vehicle, the base part and the cover part of the mounting device are also in their designated positions. This is advantageous. Preferably, the retaining rib of the cover part extends completely around the opening formed in the cover part, with a free end of the hook being inserted into a guide groove. This guide groove is located between the retaining rib and the sleeve area of the base part. This design facilitates a wide range of uses for the retaining device, as the hook can be engaged at any point along the retaining rib that extends completely around the opening. This allows the luggage net, which features the hook, to be easily tensioned in any direction from the retaining device. This is advantageous for versatile and flexible use of the luggage net in the vehicle. Furthermore, the engagement of the free end of the hook in the guide groove is advantageous for moving the hook along the guide groove to a specific point on the retaining rib surrounding the opening. This is beneficial for easily attaching the hook to the retaining rib of the cover plate. The corresponding locking elements can comprise a locking opening formed in the retaining tab and a locking lug arranged on the base part. This allows the at least one retaining tab to be inserted particularly easily into the at least one slot provided on the base part. Preferably, the receiving space of the base part is limited in an insertion direction, in which the hook can be inserted into the receiving space, by a bottom section of the base part. This contributes to the high robustness of the base part. This is particularly true if the sleeve section of the base part adjoins the bottom section of the base part towards the cover part. Preferably, at least one mounting opening is formed in the base area of the base part, into which a fastening element can be inserted. The base part can then be fixed to a component of the motor vehicle by means of this at least one fastening element. In this way, a very robust mounting of the base part, and thus of the mounting device, to the component of the motor vehicle can be achieved. For example, the fastening element can be designed as a screw that can be passed through the fastening opening and screwed into a screw hole formed in the vehicle component. Additionally or alternatively, at least one fastening element can be designed as a clamping element and / or as a rivet or the like. This also allows for a secure and reliable fixing of the base part to the vehicle component, which can be provided, in particular, by a body-in-white of the vehicle. Designing the component as a body-in-white of the vehicle is advantageous for a particularly robust fixing of the mounting device within the vehicle. The motor vehicle according to the invention comprises at least one holding device according to the invention. In this device, at least one receiving opening is formed in a body panel of the motor vehicle, wherein an edge of the receiving opening surrounds the receiving space of the base part of the at least one holding device in the circumferential direction. Thus, the holding device arranged in the at least one receiving opening can be used very simply and intuitively to hook the luggage net onto the retaining bar of the cover part. Consequently, the at least one holding device is readily usable in the motor vehicle. Preferably, the trim panel is designed as a side panel for the cargo area of the vehicle. This makes the retaining bracket of the cover panel particularly accessible to the user from the vehicle's cargo area. The user can easily attach the hook of the cargo net to the retaining bracket of the cover panel by first inserting the hook into the receiving area of the base panel. The advantages and preferred embodiments described for the holding device according to the invention also apply to the motor vehicle according to the invention and vice versa. The invention therefore also includes further developments of the motor vehicle according to the invention, which have features as already described in connection with the further developments of the holding device according to the invention. For this reason, the corresponding further developments of the motor vehicle according to the invention are not described again here. The motor vehicle according to the invention is preferably designed as a motor vehicle, in particular as a passenger car or truck, or as a passenger bus. The invention also includes combinations of the features of the described embodiments. The invention therefore also includes realizations that each exhibit a combination of the features of several of the described embodiments, provided that the embodiments have not been described as mutually exclusive. The following are exemplary embodiments of the invention. Figure 1 shows a partial view of the cargo area of a motor vehicle, wherein a retaining device in a side panel of the cargo area provides a means for attaching a hook of a luggage net for the motor vehicle (also shown in Figure 1); Figure 2 shows a perspective exploded view of a base part and a cover part of the retaining device; Figure 3 shows another perspective view of the base part and the cover part; Figure 4 shows a top view of the base part along an insertion direction into which the hook can be inserted into a receiving area of the base part; Figure 5 shows the base part of the retaining device in a side view; Figure 6 shows a top view of a visible side of the cover part; Figure 7 shows the cover part according to Figure 6 in a side view; and Figure 8 schematically shows the motor vehicle, which has the at least one retaining device in the cargo area. The exemplary embodiments described below are preferred embodiments of the invention. In these exemplary embodiments, the described components each represent individual features of the invention, which can be considered independently of one another and each further develops the invention independently. Therefore, the disclosure is intended to include combinations of features of the embodiments other than those shown. Furthermore, the described embodiments can also be supplemented by further features of the invention already described. In the figures, identical reference symbols denote functionally equivalent elements. Figure 1 shows a partial view of the cargo space 10 of a motor vehicle 12 (compare Figure 8). In Figures 1 and 8, the vehicle's longitudinal axis x, transverse axis y, and vertical axis z are illustrated by their respective coordinate systems. Accordingly, the cargo space 10 is laterally bounded, i.e., in the direction of the vehicle's transverse axis y, by side panel parts 14. Figure 1 shows a partial view of the left side panel part 14 when the motor vehicle 12 is traveling forward. In the area of the side panel part 14, the motor vehicle 12 has a retaining device 16, which comprises a base part 18 and a cover part 20 held on the base part 18. The base part 18 and the cover part 20 are shown in a perspective exploded view in Fig. 2 and Fig. 3. According to Fig. 3, a receiving space 22 is formed in the base part 18, into which a hook 24 of a luggage net 26 (compare Fig. 1) can be inserted. For clarity, only individual cords 28 of the luggage net 26, which form the actual net, are shown in section in Fig. 1. However, the following descriptions apply analogously if the hook 24 is arranged on a strap or similar flexible textile element. According to Fig. 1, the cover part 20 is held on the base part 18, wherein, in the installed state of the holding device 16, a blind area 30 of the cover part 20 partially conceals the base part 18 behind it. Particularly from a comparison of Fig. 1 and Fig. 2, it can be seen that the cover part 20 has a retaining web 32 which, according to Fig. 2, surrounds a passage opening 34 formed in the cover part 20 (compare Fig. 3 and Fig. 6). To secure the luggage net 26 to the retaining device 16, this retaining web 32 can be engaged from behind by the hook 24. For this purpose, the hook 24 must first be inserted a short distance into the receiving space 22, which is formed in the base part 18. A corresponding insertion direction 36, into which the hook 24 can be inserted into the receiving space 22 of the base part 10, is illustrated by an arrow in Fig. 5. When a free end 38 of the hook 24 (compare Fig. 1) then engages behind the retaining rib 32, the hook 24 is hooked onto the retaining device 16. According to Fig. 1, in the installed state in which the mounting device 16 is installed in the motor vehicle 12, the trim area 30 of the cover part 20 rests against a front or visible side 40 of the side panel part 14. Conversely, an edge flange 42 of the base part 18 rests against a rear side of the side panel part 14 (not shown here with a reference numeral). A portion of the side panel part 14, in which a receiving opening for the base part 18 and the cover part 20 is formed, is thus received or arranged between the edge flange 42 of the base part 18 and the trim area 30 of the cover part 20. In particular, this portion of the side panel part 14 can be clamped between the edge flange 42 and the trim area 30. This clamping can be achieved in particular by holding the cover part 20, as shown by way of example, by snapping it onto the base part 18. For this purpose, the base part 18, in the embodiment shown by way of example in the figures, has a plurality of slots 44 which are formed in the edge flange 42 (see Fig. 4). In the exemplary embodiment of the holding device 16 shown in the figures, the receiving space 22 has a contour shaped like an isosceles trapezoid. However, any other shapes of the receiving space 22, and thus of the base part 18, are also possible, which need not be explained in more detail here. In the exemplary variant of the holding device 16 shown in the figures, four slots 44 are formed in the edge flange 42 surrounding the receiving chamber 22, namely one slot 44 on each side of the receiving chamber 22, which in this case has four corner regions. Four corresponding retaining tabs 46 of the cover part 20 can be inserted into these slots 44 in order to hold or fix the cover part 20 to the base part 18 by snapping it into place. The projection of the retaining tabs 46 from the aperture area 30 of the cover part 20 in the insertion direction 36 is particularly evident in Fig. 7. When the retaining tabs 46 are inserted sufficiently far into the respective slots 44, corresponding locking elements formed on the base part 18 and the cover part 20 engage with each other. In the exemplary variant of the retaining device 16 shown in the figures, the locking elements of the retaining tabs 46 are designed as locking openings 48 and the locking elements of the base part 18 as locking lugs 50. One possible shape of the locking lugs 50, which can have flanks that rise obliquely in the insertion direction 36 and then drop vertically, is particularly evident from the side view of the base part 18 in Fig. 5. Particularly as can be seen from Figs. 2 and 5, the locking lugs 50 are arranged on an outer surface 52 of a sleeve section 54 of the base part 18 which circumferentially delimits the receiving space 22. In particular, the locking lugs 50 are formed integrally with the sleeve section 54. In the insertion direction 36 (see Fig. 5), the receiving space 22 is limited by a base area 56 of the base part 18. It can be seen particularly from Fig. 2 and Fig. 4 that a mounting opening 58 is formed in the base area 56, through which a fastening element, for example in the form of a fastening screw, can be inserted. This allows the base part 18 to be very easily attached to a (not shown in detail here) body shell of the motor vehicle 12. However, even if the base part 18 and the cover part 20 are only fixed to the side panel part 14, the retaining device 16 can be used effectively to provide a comparatively robust and durable support for the hook 24. The mounting device 16 is particularly easy to provide if the base part 18 and the cover part 20 are pre-assembled on the side panel part 14. A correspondingly pre-assembled unit can be delivered during the assembly of the vehicle 12 and then attached to the vehicle body shell 12, for example by clipping the unit to the shell. The mounting device 16 is then provided in the area of the cargo space 10 of the vehicle 12 (see Fig. 8), so that the hook 24 of the luggage net 26 can be engaged on the retaining bar 32 of the cover part 20. The base part 18 and the cover part 20 can be manufactured from a single plastic material, resulting in particularly cost-effective assembly. Furthermore, the locking mechanism of the cover part 20 onto the base part 18 allows for very easy assembly of the holding device 16. Overall, the examples show how the holding device 16 can provide a cost-effective alternative to a lashing eye in the motor vehicle 12.
