Abstract

A composition for eye protection against blue light and for the relief of eye fatigue, which is taken once by a child or adolescent, comprises the ingredients in the amounts of: a) lutein in an amount of about 10.0 to about 15.0 mg; b) zeaxanthin in an amount of about 2.0 to about 3.0 mg; c) blueberry extract (Vaccinium corymbosum) in an amount of about 2.5 to about 3.0 mg; d) bilberry extract (Vaccinium myrtillus L.) in an amount of about 2.5 to about 3.0 mg; e) blackcurrant extract in an amount of about 2.5 to about 3.0 mg; f) blackberry juice concentrate in an amount of about 3.0 to about 3.5 mg; g) chokeberry juice concentrate in an amount of about 2.0 to about 2.5 mg; h) vitamin C in an amount of about 10.0 to about 12.0 mg;i) niacin in an amount of about 8.0 to about 10.0 mg;j) vitamin E in an amount of about 6.0 to about 8.0 mg; andk) zinc in an amount of about 2.5 to about 3.0 mg.

Claims

[1] A composition for eye protection against blue light and for the relief of eye fatigue, taken once by a child or adolescent, comprises the ingredients in the following quantities: a) lutein in an amount of about 10.0 to about 15.0 mg; b) zeaxanthin in an amount of about 2.0 to about 3.0 mg; c) Blueberry extract (Vaccinium corymbosum) in an amount of about 2.5 to about 3.0 mg; d) bilberry extract (Vaccinium myrtillus L.) in an amount of about 2.5 to about 3.0 mg; (e) blackcurrant extract in an amount of about 2.5 to about 3.0 mg; f) blackberry juice concentrate in an amount of about 3.0 to about 3.5 mg; g) chokeberry juice concentrate in an amount of about 2.0 to about 2.5 mg; h) vitamin C in an amount of about 10.0 to about 12.0 mg; i) niacin in an amount of about 8.0 to about 10.0 mg; j) vitamin E in an amount of about 6.0 to about 8.0 mg; and k) Zinc in an amount of about 2.5 to about 3.0 mg.
