Abstract
Description
Technical field
[0001] The present invention relates to cooling clothing, in particular a microporous laminated high-speed evaporative cooling clothing. State of the art
[0002] With the significant rise in global temperatures, summer temperatures have also become hotter, causing discomfort in people's work and daily lives, especially for construction workers, street cleaners, traffic police, and others who work outdoors. Without adequate heat protection, workers' health can easily be compromised, which in turn affects work efficiency. To address these problems, various types of cooling clothing are currently available on the market. Water evaporation is a natural phenomenon in which the process of water vaporizing absorbs heat and provides cooling. The use of water evaporation for cooling in wearable body cooling products was first presented in a British patent. Many patents for cooling clothing that utilize water evaporation for cooling also exist in China. For example, Chinese patent CN204232340 describes a cooling garment comprising an outer layer, a middle moisture-absorbing layer, and an inner waterproof layer. The moisture in the middle moisture-absorbing layer evaporates slowly at high temperatures, thus dissipating heat and providing the body with a cool and comfortable feeling, as well as good heat dissipation. However, because this type of outer layer is permeable to moisture, the wearing experience is not optimal. To address this, some current cooling garments use a breathable, waterproof polymer membrane in the outer layer; the inner layer is then welded and fused to the moisture-impermeable outer layer; cooling is achieved through the moisture permeability of the outer membrane.
[0003] This type of outer membrane, however, typically uses the principle of hydrophilic, moisture-absorbing properties for cooling. This means that water vapor is drawn from the side with higher concentration and pressure to the other side and evaporates. A concentration or pressure difference is a prerequisite for this. Since the membrane itself has no pores, moisture permeability occurs primarily through its properties as a substance, relying on the vapor pressure difference between the inside and outside of the garment. This transports vapor from areas of high pressure to areas of low pressure, thus achieving moisture permeability. In practical applications, the cooling effect is not very effective. According to the ASTM E96-BW test standard, the moisture permeability of plastics should not exceed 4000 g / m². 2 / 24h. Research has shown that at standard atmospheric pressure, with a summer ambient temperature of 30°C and an evaporation rate of 4000 grams per square meter in 24 hours, the latent heat of vaporization of water at 30°C is approximately 2428 kJ / kg. The evaporation rate of 4000 grams per square meter in 24 hours, converted into mass flow rate per second: E = 4 kg / m³ 2 / day24 × 3600 s / day≈0.0000463 kg / m 2 / s evaporative cooling capacity: Qevap=L×E=2428000 J / kg × 0.0000463 kg / m 2 / s≈112.4 W / m 2 Assuming the heat transfer coefficient by convection is h = 25 W / (m²·°C); heat equilibrium equation: Qevap = h × (Ta - Ts) Qevap = h × (Ta - Ts); From this equation, the temperature reduction is: Ta - Ts = Qevap / h = 112,420 / 25 ≈ 4.5°C. Theoretically, the temperature can only be reduced by 4.5°C, while the actual cooling is only 2 to 3°C, which cannot achieve a real cooling effect. Content of the present invention
[0004] Therefore, the object of this invention is to provide a microporous laminated high-speed evaporative cooling garment to solve the problems in the prior art.

[0006] Furthermore, through-hole groups are arranged at a position on the outer edges and inside the high-speed evaporation permeability layer, wherein the underside of the weld layer is welded to the inner layer through the through-hole groups.
[0007] Furthermore, the through-hole groups are arranged in two or more rows, with the through-holes in the inner and outer rows being offset from each other.
[0008] Furthermore, the weld layer comprises a first weld layer and a second weld layer, wherein the second weld layer is arranged at the outer circumferential edge of the high-speed evaporation permeability layer and the first weld layer is arranged in the inner part of the high-speed evaporation permeability layer.
[0009] Furthermore, through-holes are arranged on the water absorption layer, wherein the high-speed evaporation permeability layer is provided with through-hole groups corresponding to the position of the through-holes, and the underside of the first weld layer is connected to the corresponding inner layer through the through-hole groups and through-holes.
[0010] Furthermore, several perforation holes extending from the inside to the outside are arranged, with the perforation holes being located on the first weld layer.
[0011] Furthermore, the coating material on the high-speed evaporation permeability layer consists of PTFE or TPU.
[0012] Furthermore, welding areas and non-welding areas are arranged on the weld layer, with a processing line arranged between the welding area and the non-welding area, the welding area being arranged according to the through-hole group.
[0013] Furthermore, the processing line consists of several through holes arranged at intervals, whereby the non-welding area along this processing line is torn off.
[0014] Furthermore, a zipper closure is attached to the water filling opening.
[0015] In summary, the present invention achieves, by arranging an inner layer of ice silk with good thermal conductivity, a middle water absorption layer with good water absorption, and a high-speed evaporation permeability layer with good breathability, wherein the high-speed evaporation permeability layer uses coated or rubberized fabric with a microporous structure, that the fabric remains waterproof while simultaneously exhibiting high vapor permeability, so that water vapor is directly wicked to the outside through the micropores of the membrane. By welding the small-area welded layer to the inner layer, the high-speed evaporation permeability layer is directly exposed to the air.The moisture in the water-absorbing layer transforms into water vapor and evaporates rapidly through the high-speed evaporative permeability layer, simultaneously absorbing large amounts of heat. This minimizes the temperature to the maximum and directs the cooling source through the ice silk of the inner layer to the skin, thus achieving a good cooling effect for the human body. This invention has strong practical applications and significant market potential. Detailed descriptions
[0016] To clarify the problem, the technical solution and the advantages of this invention, the invention will be explained in more detail below with reference to the figures and exemplary embodiments.
[0017] As in the Fig. Figures 1 to 6 illustrate a microporous laminated high-speed evaporative cooling garment provided by this invention. In this embodiment, the microporous laminated high-speed evaporative cooling garment is designed in the form of a vest. As shown in Fig. 8 and Fig. As shown in 9, it can also be designed in short-sleeved, long-sleeved versions or in other wearing styles, without limiting the specific style.
[0018] The microporous laminated high-speed evaporative cooling garment comprises a back section and two front sections, wherein, in this embodiment, the two front sections are connected to the back section by a fabric layer 80. Cooling zones are arranged in both the front and back sections. The cooling zone comprises, from the inside out, the following layers arranged successively: an inner layer 10, a water absorption layer 20, a high-speed evaporative permeability layer 30, and a permeability layer 40. The water absorption layer 20 is arranged between the inner layer 10 and the high-speed evaporative permeability layer 30.The welded layer 40 is attached to the outside of the high-speed evaporative permeability layer 30 and welded to the inner layer 40, thus forming a closed receiving space between the inner layer 10 and the high-speed evaporative permeability layer 30. Furthermore, several perforations 60 are provided in the cooling zone, extending from the inside to the outside, with the edges of the perforations 60 sealed by welding the inner layer 10 to the welded layer 40. The design of these perforations 60 allows air to pass between the inside and outside of the garment.
[0019] In this embodiment, the inner layer 10 is a composite material comprising an inner fabric layer 11 and an outer moisture-impermeable membrane 12, the moisture-impermeable membrane 12 being bonded to the fabric layer 11. More specifically, the fabric layer 11 is made of ice silk, and the moisture-impermeable membrane 12 is made of a TPU waterproof membrane. The ice silk has good thermal conductivity and can quickly absorb body heat. The TPU waterproof membrane prevents moisture from coming into contact with the skin and can fuse with the sweat layer 40, trapping moisture in a specific area. It should be noted that the fabric layer 11 and the moisture-impermeable membrane 12 can also be made of other materials that perform the same function and are not limited to the aforementioned ice silk fabric and TPU waterproof membrane.
[0020] The material of the water-absorbing layer 20 is a water-absorbing material. In this embodiment, the water-absorbing layer 20 is SAF superabsorbent cotton or PVA absorbent material. It can absorb many times its own weight in water and retains the moisture through the supporting force that arises after the fusion of the sweat layer 40 with the inner layer 10, thereby distributing the moisture evenly throughout all areas of the garment. Understandably, in other embodiments, the water-absorbing layer 20 can also consist of other water-absorbing materials and is not limited to the examples given in this embodiment. In this embodiment, the water-absorbing layer 20 is provided with through holes 21 at the locations of the perforation holes 60.
[0021] The high-speed evaporation permeability layer 30 consists of a fabric that blocks liquid water while allowing water vapor to pass through. It can be a coated or rubberized fabric with a microporous structure, which keeps the fabric waterproof while maintaining high vapor permeability, allowing water vapor to escape directly through the membrane's micropores. The coated fabric is made of polyester, nylon, or other materials with a PTFE or TPU coating of 0.005 mm to 0.03 mm.
[0022] The pore size of the micropores in the coated fabric used in this embodiment can range from 100 to 500 nanometers, with a porosity of up to 85% or more, under controlled strain ratio. The diameter of a water vapor molecule is 0.0004 micrometers, while the diameter of the smallest mist in rainwater is 20 micrometers, and the diameter of drizzle reaches 400 micrometers. The size of the micropores is only one ten-thousandth that of the smallest water droplet, but they are approximately 700 times larger than the volume of a single water molecule. Therefore, the microporous membrane can be waterproof while simultaneously allowing water vapor to escape directly through the membrane's micropores. Furthermore, this embodiment utilizes coated or rubberized fabric with a microporous structure to maximize the fabric's moisture permeability. The theoretical moisture permeability of fabrics with a microporous structure can reach up to 12000g / m². 2 / 24h. The theoretical calculation is as follows: If, under standard atmospheric pressure, the ambient temperature in summer is set to 30°C, the evaporation rate is 12,000 grams per square meter in 24 hours, and the latent heat of vaporization of water at 30°C is approximately 2428 kJ / kg. The evaporation rate of 12,000 grams per square meter in 24 hours, converted into mass flow rate per second: E = 12 kg / m³ 2 / day24 × 3600 s / day≈0.0001389 kg / m 2 / s evaporative cooling capacity: Qevap=L×E=2428000 J / kg × 0.0001389 kg / m 2 / s≈337.2 W / m 2Assuming a heat transfer coefficient by convection of h = 25 W / (m² °C), the heat equilibrium equation is: Qevap = h × (Ta - Ts) Qevap = h × (Ta - Ts). From this equation, the temperature reduction is: Ta - Ts = Qevap / h = 337.2 / 25 ≈ 13.5°C. It is evident from the above that a cooling of 13.5°C can theoretically be achieved. In practical measurements, a cooling of over 8°C was achieved, which is significantly better than the cooling effect of conventional cooling clothing.
[0023] On the high-speed evaporation permeability layer 30, groups of through-holes are arranged at positions corresponding to the through-holes 21 of the water absorption layer 20, with each group of through-holes comprising multiple through-holes 32. In this embodiment, two or more groups of through-holes are provided, with the through-holes 32 being arranged offset on the inner and outer sides. Furthermore, groups of through-holes are also provided at the edge of the high-speed evaporation permeability layer 30, distributed along its edge. In this embodiment, the groups of through-holes are arranged in more than two rows from the inside out, with the through-holes 32 being arranged offset on the inner and outer sides.
[0024] Water filling openings 33 are also arranged on the high-speed evaporation permeability layer 30, which are provided with a closable closure strip or zipper. In this embodiment, there are three water filling openings 33, located in the back area and in the two front areas.
[0025] The welding layer 40 consists of a thermoplastic material that exhibits good welding properties and can be welded to the inner layer 10. In this embodiment, the welding layer 40 consists of TPU film or TPU composite. It should be understood that the welding layer 40 can also consist of other film materials with the same effect. The welding layer 40 comprises a first welding layer 41 and a second welding layer 42. In this embodiment, the first welding layer 41 is arranged in an annular form, while the second welding layer 42 is arranged in a strip. The first welding layer 41 is located at the position of the perforation holes 60, while the second welding layer 42 is located at the outer edge. Furthermore, in other embodiments where no perforation holes 60 are required, the first welding layer 41 can be circular or have another non-annular structure. It serves to weld to the inner layer and to position the water absorption layer 20 in order to prevent the water absorption layer 20 from slipping.
[0026] The inner layer 10, water absorption layer 20, high-speed evaporation permeability layer 30, and weld layer 40 are stacked on top of each other from bottom to top and precisely positioned, with the underside of the first weld layer 41 being welded and fused to the inner layer 10 through the through-hole 32 of the high-speed evaporation permeability layer 30. The underside of the second weld layer 42 is welded and fused to the inner layer 10 through the through-hole 32 at the edge of the high-speed evaporation permeability layer 30. The second weld layer 42 is also welded to the inner layer 10 extending beyond the high-speed evaporation permeability layer 30, forming a closed area. Outside this closed area, the second weld layer can be bonded to other material layers. In this embodiment, the weld layer 40 is only attached at the interface with the inner layer 10, so that the high-speed evaporation permeability layer 30 is exposed to the air in order to maximally accelerate water evaporation and thereby achieve the best possible cooling effect.
[0027] As in Fig.As shown in Figure 7, the back and front sections can also be connected at the sides by connecting buckles 70, which are conventional adjustable buckle straps. Each connecting buckle 70 comprises a buckle end and a insertion end, the buckle end and insertion end being attached to the side edges of the back and front sections, respectively, with the insertion end being inserted into the buckle end. The user can connect the back to the front using the connecting buckles and adjust the tightness, thereby expanding the range of applications. Furthermore, a fan (not shown) can be attached to the microporous laminated high-speed evaporative cooling garment, with its air outlet positioned between the skin and the inner layer 10 to blow perspiration away from the skin.Furthermore, the fan is attached to the back of the cooling garment; preferably two fans are provided, each located in the lower area on both sides of the back.
[0028] The manufacturing process of the microporous laminated high-speed evaporative cooling garment according to the present invention comprises the following steps: Step one: Cutting. Cutting the inner layer 10, the water absorption layer 20, the high-speed evaporation permeability layer 30, and the complete weld layer 40a. Punching the through holes 21 into the water absorption layer 20 and Through-hole groups 32 are embedded in the high-speed evaporation permeability layer 30. Weld area 41a and non-weld area 42a are defined on the weld layer 40a, the weld area 41a and the non-weld area 42a being separated from each other by the processing line 43a. The weld area 41a corresponds to the position of the through-hole groups 32 and is slightly wider than the area containing the through-hole groups 32. In this embodiment, the processing line consists of several spaced holes forming an easily tearable line. After welding, the excess weld layer can be easily removed along this processing line.
[0029] Step two: Laminating: Laminating the inner layer 10, water absorption layer 20, high-speed evaporation permeability layer 30 and weld layer 40 from bottom to top one after the other and positioning precisely on the mold.
[0030] Step three: Welding: Welding the laminated fabric layers using a welding system so that the weld layer 40a is fused to the inner layer 10 through the through-hole group 32. In this embodiment, the welding system can be a high-frequency welding machine. Understandably, in other embodiments, ultrasonic welding machines, hot pressure welding machines, or other conventional equipment can also be used.
[0031] Step four: Removal of the non-welding area 42a: Removal of the weld layer 40a in the non-welding area 42a along the processing line 43a, so that the high-speed evaporation permeability layer 30 is exposed.
[0032] Step five: Creating the perforation holes 60, wherein the perforation holes 60 are created at the corresponding positions after welding. In this embodiment, the perforation holes 60 are machined after welding to facilitate processing and reduce processing costs. Understandably, in other embodiments, holes can first be made in all layers at the positions of the perforation holes 60 before they are aligned and welded.
[0033] Step six: Finishing, in which, depending on style requirements, the edges of the garment are finished or the various parts are joined to form a complete garment.
[0034] In summary, the present invention achieves a receiving space for the water absorption layer 20 between the high-speed evaporation permeability layer 30 and the inner layer 10 by arranging an ice silk inner layer with good thermal conductivity, a middle water absorption layer with good water absorption and a high-speed evaporation permeability layer 30 with good breathability, wherein the high-speed evaporation permeability layer 30 is welded to the inner layer 10 by a small-area welding layer 40.The moisture in the water absorption layer 20 transforms into water vapor and evaporates rapidly through the high-speed evaporative permeability layer 30, simultaneously absorbing large amounts of heat. This results in a maximum temperature reduction, and the cooling effect is transferred to the skin through the ice silk inner layer to achieve a significant cooling effect for the human body. The high-speed evaporative permeability layer 30 of this invention utilizes an air-permeable but moisture-impermeable microporous fabric, making the cooling effect of this cooling garment 3-5 times better than that of conventional structures, thus significantly improving cooling performance. This invention has strong practical applications and significant potential for widespread use.
