The problem is that after changing a diaper or otherwise dressing the child, the sleeve of the garment usually slips far back while putting on the outer clothing. Either one leaves it like this, which is often very uncomfortable for the child, or the person dressing the child awkwardly tries to pull the sleeve of the underwear forward underneath the outer clothing, which is usually only partially successful. This problem is solved by the invention specified in claim 1. The invention ensures that the sleeve of the child's underwear stays securely in place during dressing, making the process easier and more relaxed for both the child and the person dressing them. There is no need to awkwardly pull the sleeve forward while the outer garment is already on. In the adult sector, such solutions according to claim 1 are already known, but there they primarily have fashionable aspects and do not take into account, in particular, the situation that there is a third person who is dressing the person. The invention consists of a thumb hole at the optionally extended end of the sleeve. The person dressing the child guides their thumb through the thumb hole in the underwear after it has been put on, or even during the dressing process. When the outer garment is then put on, the sleeve of the underwear, secured at the front by the thumb, ensures that the sleeve stays in place and does not unintentionally roll back or slip down. Without the outer garment already in place, the sleeve of the underwear would then be difficult to reach and awkwardly pull back into position.
