Abstract
Description
[0001] The innovation relates to a device for removing the insert plate (1) from cake trays (2) and its separation, in particular from the process of ultrasonic cutting of cakes or unbaked goods, such as tortes or the like.
[0002] Sheet cakes are primarily baked or prepared in closed four-sided trays or in three-sided trays with a front tray (1) at the end, unless they are baked goods such as tortes, cream slices or similar products.
[0003] Triple-edged metal sheets are increasingly being used to allow for easy lateral removal of the cut pieces.
[0004] For sale, the pieces are either transferred into smaller trays or fed into a facility for packaging in blisters or other sleeves.
[0005] The removal of the insert plates and their placement outside the cutting area are always done manually, optionally either before or after the cutting process.
[0006] For automated production lines with high cutting capacities, including fast, robot-assisted removal of the cake pieces for placement in smaller trays for sale or packaging, the use of triple-edged trays is indispensable.
[0007] Manual removal and lateral placement of the insert plate ties up a worker for this time-consuming task and represents a bottleneck in the continuous production process.
[0008] Nationally and internationally, no technical device for the automatic removal and placement of the insert plate is known.
[0009] This is also due to the fact that complex automated production lines with the work steps of ultrasonic cutting of baked goods lying on trays, as well as the removal and placement of the insert tray as a prerequisite for robot-assisted removal of the cut pieces and placement for sale or packaging are not yet in use.
[0010] The aim of the invention is therefore a solution for the automatic removal of the insert plate and its lateral placement outside the cutting area.
[0011] This should enable a fully automated production process from the feeding of the cake trays to the placement in documents suitable for sale or storage and packaging in blisters or similar sleeves.
[0012] The innovation is therefore based on the task of developing an automatically operating device that can grasp, lift and lay down the insert plate to the side in sync with the cutting line's operation and in coordination with the movements of the ultrasonic knife.
[0013] According to the innovation, the problem is solved as described in the following exemplary embodiment.
[0014] The ultrasonic cutting machine cuts the goods lying on the baking tray (2) into pieces of the desired size according to the specified program.
[0015] The edge section is also integrated into the cutting process.
[0016] During the cutting process, the clamping bar (8) of the removal module (3) attached to the ultrasonic cutting head (4) is in the upper position to prevent contact with the baked goods to be cut and the baking tray (2).
[0017] Likewise, the drive (7) is responsible for the horizontal movement of the clamping beam (8) and for clamping the insert plate (1) in the starting position.
[0018] After the last edge section on the side of the insertable plate has been completed, the removal module moves the clamping bar, controlled by a program, to the height of the insertable plate and initiates the horizontal clamping movement in the direction of the insertable plate.
[0019] Clamping is achieved by pressing the insert plate against the ultrasonic knife (5). The spring-loaded clamping bar, in conjunction with the elastic plastic support (9), securely holds the insert plate in place.
[0020] The entire ultrasonic cutting head, with the attached removal module, then moves upwards, pulling the insertable tray, which is stuck between the clamping bar and the ultrasonic knife, out of the area of the baking tray.
[0021] The ultrasonic cutting head then moves laterally out of the cutting area and can subsequently lay down the pulled-out pre-insert plate together with the still adhering edge section in a defined manner.
[0022] The metal sheets can then be collected in a container and transported for cleaning.
[0023] The innovation is also applicable to cutting tasks using a simple, non-ultrasound-excited knife.
[0024] Further advantageous embodiments result from the claims, the descriptions of the mode of operation and the drawing according to Fig. 1 illustrated embodiment.
