CO2 mosquito trap

Abstract

A CO2 mosquito catcher comprising a housing, a top cover attached to the top of the housing, and a cover opening provided in the top cover, characterized in that a mosquito inlet tube is provided in the cover opening, the lower end of the mosquito inlet tube projecting into the housing, and a mosquito collection container for collecting mosquitoes is further provided in the cover opening; wherein a ventilation opening and a fan are provided on a side wall of the mosquito collection container, and wherein an exhaust opening is provided on the top cover; wherein, when the fan is in operation, it draws in air through the ventilation opening and blows it out again through the exhaust opening;and wherein a pressure reducing valve for attaching a CO2 gas cylinder is attached to the housing, and wherein the pressure reducing valve is connected to a solenoid valve mounted in the housing, which in turn is connected to an exhaust pipe attached to the top cover.
