Abstract
The invention relates to a rotor blade (1) for a wind turbine. The rotor blade (1) comprises a spar cap (6) with a spar cap mid-area (8), wherein the spar cap mid-area (8) comprises a carbon fiber body (10) with a plurality of carbon fiber layers (11) of carbon fibers (12). A current injection contact means (15) of the rotor blade (1) is in electrically conductive contact with the tip area of the body (14), thereby constituting a current injection contact zone (16) of the tip area of the body (14). The current injection contact zone (16) extends at least in one direction parallel to a longitudinal axis of the rotor blade (5) and in a direction the thickness of the carbon fiber body (10). The invention further relates to a method for manufacturing a rotor blade (1).
